**SCAM ALERT** This place operates under like three different names. No one did a walk around the car with us when we took it out. We thought all the damage was marked because the car report was labeled with a ton of damage in different places - 24 places marked. We assumed the tiny dent (hard to see unless you stare at a particular angle) was what was one of the numbers marked as the writing of the damage description is tiny and in light grey and there were 24 of them marked so we could not go through all of them on Christmas evening. Since no one walked around with us it was hard to tell what was marked and what was not. They are asking for a $1000 damages for what they claim to be a dent that was marked on the paper and could only be seen with a test pattern, and a scratch that we thought was already marked. Beware - the prices are cheap but they seem to make their money in claims.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS (InternationalCar, Surpise car rentals - all the same company). I booked for 7.40pm Saturday pick-up in August, not aware the rental company becomes ‘out-of-hours’ after 8pm. They called me the day before to inform me that after 8pm there would be an extra 40 euros, or I could collect the car the next day. Obviously I said I’ll pay and that I definitely needed the car that evening to get to my destination with wife and 2 young children. Flight landed late at 8pm followed by full 2 hours in passport queue (awful in itself but clearly not car rental company’s fault). Called the rental car pick-up service just after 10pm. No answer (they had all gone home). I had no choice but to rent from an onsite hire company for 24 hours (120 euros), with a view to coming back in the morning (1.5 hour drive) to collect original car. Called drive4move next morning twice to check they still had my original car – they did not answer phone. So drove all the way back to airport, dropped temporary car at airport and took shuttle to drive4move. When I arrived they said they no longer had my car and that I should have called to check. When I said nobody answered the phone, they said they were with customers(!!) They also said they told me on their original phone call before I flew out that they closed at 10pm and I should have called them from passport queue (they absolutely did not tell me – they just told me they became out of hours after 8pm, if I knew they closed at 10pm I would have called from passport queue, equally I was their one remaining customer of the evening so they could have called me). They then said that all they could give me was a BMW which would be an additional 350 euros on top of the cost of the car I had booked. They were unsympathetic and unhelpful – surely they should have given me this car for the original agreed amount? I had no choice but to agree – needed a car and was by then stranded at an offsite rental firm. After all this they then spent 30 minutes in-front of me detailing the extensive bodywork damage on the BMW I was hiring. In all, this experience (I maintain through no fault of my own) cost me an additional 470 euros and took up almost an entire day of my precious holiday away from my family. If you want your holiday ruined – use this company. I am now considering my options with a friend in Lisbon as to how to pursue this further. Dropping car back is also a total shambles - just have to wait at end of a long queue just to get to point where they inspect your car (see pic) great when you have flight to catch!
I had an absolutely terrible experience with a car rental through Booking.com. I booked a car and took the option to add insurance through Zurich, ensuring I was fully covered. I even read all the paperwork to make sure everything was in order. However, when I arrived at the rental location, things quickly went downhill. First, the lady who served me said my booking was from 10 AM, even though I didn't need the car until the afternoon. The website didn't allow me to change the pickup time, and she informed me that they might not have a car available unless I paid for an upgrade. After some back-and-forth, she confirmed they had the car I originally booked, but that was just the beginning of the issues. When we started the process, she insisted that I needed to buy additional insurance, despite the fact that I had already purchased full insurance through Booking.com. I showed her all the documents proving I was covered, but she claimed that the insurance I had didn't cover their cars. After a frustrating discussion, she finally agreed to proceed but then messed up the payment process. I clearly told her that the payment required a chip and pin for security, yet she kept trying to tap the card, which blocked it after three failed attempts. She did the same thing with a second card, leaving me with two blocked cards. When I asked for a manager, I had to wait over an hour, only to be met with more rudeness and unhelpfulness. The manager insisted that I had to buy their insurance or I wouldn't be allowed to take the car, and I would still be charged regardless. This entire experience was nothing short of a scam. They tried to upsell me on insurance I didn't need, mishandled my payment, and wasted over an hour and a half of my time. I would strongly advise against using this rental service—they are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and downright shady. Avoid at all costs! 7 September - I have tried sending you all the info to your email address [email protected] But this is the response i have receive from my google account. Address not found Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.
Worst car rental experience I've ever had. Made us wait multiple hours upon arrival to actually get a car despite having a reservation, then tried to charge us at the end for a mark that was clearly visible in the before pictures. Super shady! Avoid if you can
A scam. They will make a great show of checking the car for damages before you drive away, pointing out the obvious ones and taking an age to take pictures so you feel they are being thorough. On return, they somehow go straight to a tiny dent that was not logged - and barely visible to the naked eye. €170 charge. Please ensure to video and photograph every inch of the car. They know they are in a strong position because you are reliant on the shuttle bus to get you to the airport. An unpleasant end to a good week in Portugal. Update on 14.8.24. This initial post generated an automated response, asking me to mail the company with the booking reference. The email address in the response does not work. I suspect this auto-response is to trick readers into thinking Drive4Move has a customer service department. It doesn't.
I rented a 5-door Arona but received a Fiat 500 with 3 doors and only half a tank of gas. I do not recommend using this website or company. It's a rip off!
First the car was delivered with barely any fuel in it. I had Full/Full booked via carjet but didnt get that. When I opened the pdf from tbe booking it says there "return same amount as received" which can be anything. But then it got worst when I Made an agreement to drop off the car outside of the working hours by paying additional fee. I showed up at the agreed time 2.45am today, no one was there. I was alone standing at a very dark street by myself as a woman in the middle of the night. Had to leave the car and the key in the postbox and get an uber to not miss my flight. Made videos and all, have the written confirmation about the agreed drop off and hope all goes well but it was a scary experience also knowing that they charge for things they make up based on all reviews.
Shady business. Make sure to take really good videos and pictures of both the inside and outside of your car. Upon return, they tried to tell me I damaged the front mirror until I showed them a video I took that shows the mark was already there. They then said I didn’t fill up the tank to the level which I received it, which I did. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture of the gas level and so they insisted I returned it short and charged me extra. I wouldn’t recommend this rental as they have dishonest business practices.

A fuir, nous avons dû laver la voiture avant de la rendre sinon ils comptaient des frais de lavage! J ai dû aussi payer 200 d assurance, en plus de celle que j avais déjà payé sur interNet, sinon je devais laisser une caution de 2400 ! Bref! Je ne recommande pas du tout, le mieux est de louer à l aéroport pour avoir toutes les conditions et pas d aller de surprise en surprise

A FUIR des voleurs, attendu 1 h a laéroport, puis au moment de rendre la voiture nous ont facturés 453E pour des tapis inexistants, une jante rayé qui était pas mal abimé !!!! alors que avec une caution de 1800E il est impératif de faire attention au véhicule tout les jours, le personnel très antipathique et puis quand vous avez votre avion qui décolle 1h après vous payer au risque de rester sur place. Je suis allée au Portugal plusieurs fois jamais vu ça a FUIR impérativement des VOLEURS faite beaucoup de pub sur Facebook, Google, et autres sites merci davoir lu mon commentaire

Muy mala experiencia! El vuelo se retrasó , espere más de una hora el transfer, al llegar habían cancelado la reserva (que estaba totalmente paga según ellos te el margen es de 2 hs) y me dijo que no tenía auto pero si pagaba 120 extra ,por una categoría más baja si tenía...¿?...Estafadores.

Absolute Abzocke und unseriös! Bevor das Auto übergeben wird, werden die Mängel (angeblich ganz genau) dokumentiert. Nachdem wir nach einer Woche das Auto zurückgeben wollten, wurden wir sofort beschuldigt einen (sehr offensichtlichen) Schaden verursacht zu haben. Zum Glück habe ich zur Sicherheit zu Beginn auch ein Foto davon gemacht, somit hatten wir einen Beweis, dass dieser schon zuvor da war (so viel zur angeblich gründlichen vorab Dokumentation) ihrerseits). Jedoch wurde mein Beweis bereits hinterfragt mit Aussagen wie haben Sie denn kein Video davon? . Er ging danach weiter auf die Suche und wurde bei einer minimalen Lack-Abbröckelung (2 mm) fündig, die sie natürlich auch nicht dokumentiert haben. Und natürlich machen sie auch keine Bilder von dem ganzen Auto, sodass man im Nachhinein nachsehen kann, ob es den Schaden bereits davor gegeben hat. Hier wird absichtlich darauf gesetzt, nur die gezoomten Schäden zu fotografieren, damit für alle anderen Kleinigkeiten kein Beweis dargelegt werden kann, dass dieser bereits davor da war. Somit mussten wir zusätzlich für einen Schaden, der nicht durch uns entstanden ist, zahlen. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich (insbesondere Tiago Selcz und die Person beim Empfang) und wirkte von Anfang an berechnend. Die finden bei jedem Auto einen noch so kleinen Kratzer, die sie euch unterstellen, um an zusätzliches Geld zu kommen. NIE WIEDER!! Sucht euch bitte lieber eine andere Autovermietung, außer ihr wollt, dass euer Urlaub/Reise vermiest wird.

You can pay an additional 130 and it will work. You can book without a credit card, but you wont get a car!!! Additionally, the transportation takes forever, and you only get the address of the airport, not the actual location, so you could go there directly. ___________ Abzocke!!!!!!!! Unbedingt das Kleingedruckte lesen! Die Buchung kann nur mit der Kreditkarte des Fahrers gebucht werden. Der Fahrer kann nachträglich nicht mehr geändert werden! Kein Geld zurück. Man kann 130 aufzahlen, dann geht es. Ohne Kreditkarte kann man zwar buchen, aber man bekommt kein Auto!!! Zusätzlich braucht der Transport ewig, und man bekommt nur die Adresse des Flughafens, nicht vom tatsächlichen standort, damit man direkt hinfahren könnte.

Bonjour, Cette agence DRIVE 4 MOVE EST À FUIR. Lagence vous facture des dégâts existant au départ du véhicule. Sans insistance pour faire le cheick in plusieurs points ont étaient constatés à mon départ. Malgré le compte rendu reçu par email, tous nont pas été inscrit dans le rapport. A la restitution du véhicule, jai dû payer une note de 450,00 sous contrainte de ne pas nous déposer avec la navette pour prendre mon avion retour. Bien évidemment , jaurais dû racheter 4 nouveaux billets davions. De plus, à notre arrivée nous avons attendus 1h30 avant que la navette vienne nous prendre pour récupérer notre voiture de location.
Al retirar el auto nos demoramos más de 1 hora y media.

Please be aware , emplyees are nice but the company target is to make money by finding small scratches and charge super inflated penalties for it , they charge me 370 euro for 2 tiny scratches ( less than 3 cm) that are not easy to identify by normal eye , i would not recommend them at all
We renten compact SUV and received Opel Crossland. Cant judge others cars, but this specific one was a dissaster. Not only it was old, but the engine had so little power, that you could not accelerate past 60km/h going uphill in a highway. It would also start shaking going faster than 100km/h.

Meus amigos muito cuidado com essa gente eles até parece que combinam os defeito do carro eu peguei o carro como não percebo o que eles consideram como Damager pedi que fizesse tudo de forma justa, entretanto havia uma falha no apontamento do Damager numa tampa plástica de roda que com olho nu não se via entretanto no dia da devolução a menina que fez a inspeção no carro veio de óculos e foi diretamente naquela tampa de roda que me fez entender que já estava tudo preparado. Ela diz que é 5 centímetros de risco e paguei 123 euros Eu vos aconselho quando forem lá alugar o carro levem vosso óculos também N do meu contrato 312402

Experimenté el peor servicio de alquiler de coches hasta la fecha. Esperamos más de 2 horas para recibir el coche. No mostraron interés alguno; nos entregaron el coche sucio y en mal estado, con el puerto USB sin funcionar. Cuando intenté quejarme con el encargado, se rió de mí y me dijo que otras compañías son igual de malas. Esto refleja su falta de compromiso con hacer bien su trabajo. El día estaba lleno de clientes enfadados esperando más de 2 horas. Había gritos y caos. Parece que su método es esperar a que alguien devuelva un coche, hacerle un lavado rápido y entregárselo al siguiente cliente apresuradamente. Lo peor fue al devolver el coche en Faro; al no revisarlo adecuadamente tras su entrega rápida, descubrimos una bomba en el maletero para inflar neumáticos, que intentaron cobrarnos a pesar de no haberla utilizado. Esta ha sido, con diferencia, mi peor experiencia con una compañía de alquiler de coches.

Bonjour Jai loué une voiture par Jetcar qui , je lai appris sous loue à cette entreprise Jai attendu un bon moment puis jai été reçu par une personne antipathique au possible, jai même eu maille à partir avec elle !!! Personne très désagréable, malgré que je parle Portugais, je narrivais pas à le comprendre, cest une technique de vente forcée, du coup jai payé un acompte de la moitié de la somme sur internet mais je nai pas pu loué ma voiture Je nai pas pu loué ma voiture parceque javais une carte bancaire de débit et il lui fallait une carte bancaire de crédit !!! Jai loué dans le monde entier, jamais eu de problèmes et jarrive au Portugal mon pays de naissance et ...problèmes !! Donc je nai pas récupéré de voiture et jai fait un autre loueur de voiture au demeurant très sympathique, efficace et respectueux Voilà ce loueur est une arnaque !!@ Je déconseille Jespère récupéré ma caution Cordialement
Die Autovermietung nimmt nur reine Kreditkarten an und bei allem anderen muss man drauf zahlen, obwohl im Internet etwas anderes stande. Vor Ort sind die Mitarbeiter wenig bemüht die Kunden freundlich und schnell zu bedienen. Bei Fragen oder Problemen konnte niemand telefonisch noch über Mail erreicht werden. Diese Autovermietung würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen, da einiges nicht in Ordnung war und ich mir etwas mehr Höflichkeit und Zuverlässigkeit gewünscht hätte!

Delivered a car from a lower category, low on fuel, completely wet, impossible to check any damages, and then charged for a small damage on a door that im certain I didn t do and was impossible to detect with a wet car. Do yourself a favor and don t book with them. When I was delivering the car, 4 cars were being delivered and all had the same issue. This is their modo operandi, they even admitted that, and that the police is called often and can t do anything.
Ci siamo trovate molto bene per il noleggio e l auto che ci hanno dato era proprio quella che avevamo prenotato. Personale gentile e cordiale, tempistiche medio-veloci.
A fuir absolument. Une fois mais pas deux!!! Je déconseille fortement. Personnel peu sympathique voire limite raciste! Et bien sûr, ma carte de crédit Visa Premier qui ne passe pas intéressant, elle n a même pas été testée sur le terminal de cartes. Tout ça pour obliger le client à souscrire à l assurance de 30 par jour. Ma banque a confirmé que c est bien une carte de crédit, je l ai utilisée chez plein de loueurs d ailleurs. Merci de me donner une adresse mail valable afin que j ai des réponses à mes questions!

Terrible customer service at Lisbon. Car itself was fine until day 3. Low engine oil light came on so we bought 1L oil and kept the receipt for reimbursement. Upon return, the staff at the rental office stated that they do not maintain the cars but only do the rental. The oil receipt was attached to the rental invoice and I was told that it would be sent to head office. I did not receive any response so I reached out to head office by email. Automated response said that it would be looked into but no response for a month. Upon re-emailing, I was essentially told that I should have obtained a pre-approval before purchasing the oil and therefore cannot be reimbursed. So if your rental car breaks down or a warning light comes on, and it s after hours, you cannot do anything till the next day (to get approval). So do you just leave the car and take a taxi or continue driving at the risk of more damage? If you do anything to repair it or just buy oil, you will not be reimbursed. The cost of the oil was only 13 Euros, so it s not the money that is the point. Their website states that they are customer centric but it is so not the case. Beware! There are other local rental agencies with similar or lower prices.

Quick and efficient service. Had to drop car back at 4 am and was greeted by a smiling, friendly member of staff. Car was in excellent condition when we picked it up. Couldn t recommend this company enough

PLEASE AVOID. Had exactly the same experience as others, when returning the car it was claimed that a tiny mark on the wheel barely possible to spot was new damage . I was very clear that the supposed damage had not happened while I had the car (and was also barefoot visible) but staff were rude and extremely aggressive and threatened to withhold the full deposit unless I paid 270. Please avoid as there are numerous reports below of the same behaviour. I have reported to Police.

The worse experience Ever!!! Foi horrível! Chegamos às 8:52am e saímos às 11 horas. Cancelamos a reserva pois esperamos muito tempo para sermos atendidos, e quando fomos e pagamos tudo tivemos que esperar mais muito muito tempo para liberarem o carro que ainda estava lavando. Eu vou lá atrás para olhar o veículo e o mesmo não era para duas malas o porta malas como eu havia reservado. Dois jovens foram extremamente grossos comigo neste momento quando questionei sobre o tamanho. Fui reclamar do tratamento desrespeitoso e mal educado desses dois e o gerente não quis fazer nada. Esperamos até o carro ficar pronto e nos entregaram o carro todo molhado. Perguntei o nome de um dos jovens que me trataram mal e ele disse que não iria falar, nem o dele e nem o da colega, então peguei o meu celular a fim de filmar a resposta dele mas sem filmar o rosto respeitando seu direito de imagem. Esse moço então ficou totalmente descontrolado e gritava muito mandando eu apagar o vídeo ou então chamaria a polícia. Após todo esse transtorno e mais de duas horas perdidas optei por cancelar e pedir o reembolso total. Afinal não poderia compactuar financiando esse dês-serviço.
Tudo ocorreu conforme o combinado com a DRIVE4MOVE. O único inconveniente foi com a CAR JET que, pelo site apresentou um valor de promoção e quando chegamos para pegar o carro o valor estava integral. Agora teremos que falar com a CAR JET para tentar o reembolso, o que é desgastante e não segue o que o site nos apresentou no dia da reserva.

Avoid it or else you will get scammed: I rented a car on Car jet for 41 days, , and paid extra 400 euro to get full insurance without deductible, when i arrived to pick the car, the guy in Drive4 Move told me that the insurance i bought online is nonsens and they never support in case of any accident and convinced me to buy a new insurance from him for 374 euro , which i did because i know their intention already, that was the first scam. the daily rate became 40.6 euro per day. The day i was supposed to return the car, i had some emergency and couldnt leave, so called the office who told me i have to send a mail and they will give me details, i want to extend for 3 extra days, and i send them 3 mails asking the price, they would reply to the mail but not mentionning the extra cost of the 3 days, the surprise is when i returned the car, i was unlucky to be with one of the rudest persons you can meet, i will not mention her name but she was really the worst, and she charged me 261 euros for the 3 days instead of 120 max. She doesnt even explain why, all what she says it is what it is,,, avoid it guys and save your money
Pegamos um carro extremamente novo. Fomos bem atendidos do começo ao fim!
Eu e meu marido alugamos um carro da Drive4Move, no dia 28/06/23, e fomos surpreendidos pela Van que nos buscou no aeroporto, após 1h de espera, que se tratava da Surprice, uma empresa com inúmeras reclamações pelo péssimo serviço prestado. Quando chegamos na locadora, que fica um pouco distante do aeroporto, tentaram nos vender um seguro com o valor três vezes maior que o valor da locação. Mas, como temos seguro garantido pelo nosso cartão de crédito e somos um casal muito cuidadoso, assim como moramos em uma vila bem tranquila (Cascais), não achamos necessário adquirir o seguro absurdo oferecido. No momento da vistoria para receber o veículo, foi apresentado-nos um carro todo molhado, em uma garagem escura, sendo que o atendente demonstrava impaciência em nossa vistoria. Mostramos vários riscos e amalgamentos no veículo, sendo que algumas avarias ele disse que não importava e não precisava anotar, como a calota do pneu quebrada e outros mais. Pois bem, na data da devolução, dia 12/07/23, o carro foi devolvido na parte externa do pátio, a luz do sol, sendo que havíamos recebido o veículo molhado e na parte interna e escura do pátio, onde não se consegue ver os pequenos riscos, tampouco amalgamentos pequenos. Ocorre que no momento da devolução foi apontado pelo atendente um pequeno risco com um suposto amalgamento, menor que 3cm, que seria imperceptível ver com o carro molhado e no pátio escuro. Com isso foi cobrado em nosso cartão um valor de 506,80 euros, sendo que a locadora não nos deu nem a opção de questionar, tampouco outra alternativa conforme disposto na cláusula 4 do contrato onde diz que No caso de o veículo sofrer alguma avaria, as reparações só podem ser efectuadas mediante acordo prévio com a locadora. Assim, para que serve a cláusula contratual de possível acordo, se não nos foi dado nem o direito de acordar ou sugerir outra opção para consertar a avaria que certamente já existia e não teve como ser detectada no escuro (considerando que o veículo já estava todo riscado). Até mesmo porque, como residimos em Cascais, não seria problema algum consertamos esse risco, quase que imperceptível, em um bom especialista. Um serviço de no máximo 1 dia, que não passaria de 100 euros, incluindo o aluguel de mais uma diária do veículo. O pior de tudo é o constrangimento que nos fizeram passar, sem nem dar atenção aos nossos argumentos, como se não existíssemos. Nos sentimos muito constrangidos e completamente roubados! Ligamos para a polícia mas, fomos informados que deveriamos fazer a reclamação no Livro de Reclamações. Porém não nos disponibilizaram o Livro de Reclamações, mesmo após solicitado. Já em nossa casa tentamos fazer a reclamação pelo site e não encontravamos a empresa cadastrada no Livro de Reclamações. Somente depois fomos constatar que se tratava da International Car. Por fim, entendemos que a empresa não esta a trabalhar com a devida transparência e honestidade com os seus clientes, não restando outra opção a nós a não ser exercer os nossos direitos pelas vias administrativas e judiciais cabíveis, diante da falta de compromisso e transparência da empresa para com seus clientes e pelo constrangimento que sofremos.

Huur hier geen auto. Zoals eerder ook beschreven oplichterij. Bij het ophalen doen ze heel makkelijk. Geven iets van een schade aan die echt wel te zien moet zijn om (achteraf voor ons) vertrouwen op te wekken en bij inleveren gaan ze heel moeilijk doen. Echt elke deur open, langs elk randje voelen om maar iets te vinden. Daarbij voelde het voor ons echt alsof ze aan het zoek waren om iets te vinden om te declareren en de mini schade die ze op de wieldop vonden die vonden ze omdat die er al zat. Een foto van de auto een kwartier na het ophalen toonde ook aan dat die er al op zat bij het ophalen. Fout van ons dat we die niet hebben gezien, want hier waren ze naar op zoek dat iemand deze niet vond. Natuurlijk wilden ze hier niet naar kijken en niks mee. Toen ze deze vonden kwam er een vrouw naar ons toegelopen dat ze exact hetzelfde bij haar hadden gedaan en zo zaten wij met een rekening van 183 en 162 euro voor helemaal niks. Zij had een klein krasje onder haar bumper aan de voorkant waarvan ze zeiden dat ze bij het inparkeren een stoeprand had geraakt. De vrouw zei met alle eerlijkheid tegen ons dat zij nooit voorwaarts inparkeert. Op deze manier houden ze de prijs laag. Ze zoeken dus schades op plekken die je niet ziet als je niet goed zoekt en waar 9/10 autos na gebruik toch wel een krasje vinden. Hierna ook niks van medeleven. Nee ze zeggen eigenlijk pas dat er iets aan de hand is als de bon voor je neus ligt. De fotos bijgevoegd van de schade na afloop (foto 1) en de schade een kwartier na afhalen (foto 2). De 2e foto is flink ingezoomd en op grote afstand gemaakt, maar je ziet toch duidelijk dat er iets op exact dezelfde plek zit. Band heel mooi en super goed schoon gemaakt. Ze hebben dus hier echt wel gezien dat deze er zat en wisten bij inleveren waar ze naar moesten zoeken.
Bonjour première expérience avec cette agence de location jai était très déçu par la mauvaise foi de lemployé et de de son incompétence il navait pas le double du contrat et il ma fait payé une rayure qui existait déjà ce que jai constaté après cette rayure est sur mon contrat étant portugais et connaissant toutes les agences celle-là est de loin la plus mauvaise

Probably the worst car rental company i have dealt with. After 2 hours waiting for the car, they gave us the bill for extra costs that doesnt appear in the price when you book the car, the information come in the small letter of the voucher when you pay it. Completely disorganised company, had one person making the registration while more than 10 costumers were in the wating room. In the airport we had to wait 40 min for the suttle to come. Low cost, low quality and terrible service. We ended up canceling the rental since the extras they charged were higher than the rental+insurance itself.
Worst car Rental ever. The guy receiving us in the airport looked stoned, difficult to understand him. We had to wait 40 min for the shuttle and then 1h30 in the reception. When we were to do the payment we were surprised with extra taxes not referee before, be aware with the small letter with this one. Sketchy as it could be.
Booked a car with this company. When I arrived there rhey told me the the reservation was cancelled and no one informed about it, they told me to check in spam and there was nothing there. We had to choose other company to rent the car.
Please accept this as a formal complaint and request for refund from Drive4More / Suprice Car Rentals. Our experience started badly with the numbers provided simply not answering when we called to advise of our arrival, causing unnecessary as you are based miles away from Lisbon airport. No apology or explanation was given at the reception desk. I hired this car last Tuesday in Lisbon at approximately 21:00. It was late and night, dark and with minimal lighting when I picked up the car. I was told it had multiple scratches and joked with the gentleman handing me the keys about the state of the car. It was driven slowly to Óbidos and great care was taken at all times. I am 100% sure that no damage was done to the car at any time. You can imagine my surprise to be told that a new scratch was noticed on the driver side of the car on its return. This was not caused during this rental period but the gentleman handing the return seemed to find our complaint and assurances amusing by laughing with his colleagues as soon as Id left the office. I returned briefly to point out that I was returning a boot cover for a car hired the previous week from another company to demonstrate my honesty even though they hadnt picked up that it was missing. I am disappointed in the extreme to have been charged some 200 for a scratch which wasnt of my doing. As Ive said taking a photograph last Tuesday would have been impossible and thd car was covered in many scratches. I am sadly drawn to the conclusion that this was a money-making exercise on the part of the company after Id declined insurance last week, which I always do, without incurring charges. Please look into this as a matter of urgency as Im more than a little concerned about your companies practice
Long story short, Drive4Move will only give you headaches and waste your time & money. You will be much better off renting from an internationally reputed company like Europcar! Backstory: Back in Aug 23 I made a reservation to rent a car at Drive4Move, to which I was told that someone would be waiting for me at the arrival hall to handle the pickup. Since there was nobody at the meeting point I called them, to which I was told a shuttle bus would me pick me up in 30min. Not only did the shuttle never show up, they would tell me every time I called that they were on their way and would arrive in 5-10 minutes. After 2h of waiting for nothing I gave up, instead went to Europcar downtown and after only 15min I was served with a brand new car, for virtually the same price, without insurance (like I always do) and after my holiday I returned the car in the same state and they gave my deposit back as expected.

Terrible. I was told anything with less depth than 2 cm wouldnt be accounted. Cost us 350 euros for a smudge on door not done by us witch I didnt have previous photo of door. Take lots of photos of all doors
Didnt pick me up at the airport at night and then claim I was not there. After I tried to call them for over an hour still no one answered their hotline. Never received a car nor a refund for the prepayment I did. Avoid them at all cost - its a scam!
Make sure you take a picture of EVERYTHING!! every small scratch or dent. I was charged 180 euro for a scratch on the wheel that was probably there before but didnt noticed.

Cheguei ontem, dia 10/10/2023 ao aeroporto de Lisboa (LIS) as 20:00 e tinha uma reserva de número DCG6426285 (feito pela discoverycars) e confirmação 211660 pela Drive 4 move para as 20:00 com instruções de chegar e ligar para o número de contato. Simplesmente não atenderam, me deixaram a esperar. Tive que alugar outro carro em outra locadora. Não me cancelaram a reserva, não me forneceram o carro e não me respondem nem email, nem telefone nem chat!

Uma das piores experiências de aluguel de carro. Tomem bastante cuidado ao sair do estabelecimento sem olhar ou tirar fotos do exterior do veículo. Não aceitem recebê-lo molhado sem tomar o devido cuidado. O atendimento na devolução é completamente tendenciosa em achar algum tipo de arranhão e cobra-lo bastante caro por isso. Viajamos muito e já alugamos algumas centenas de veículos, mas nunca vimos isso acontecer. Realmente nossa experiência com a Drive4Move finalizou de uma forma muito ruim.

Mit Vorsichtig zu Nutzen! Nummer ziehen warten. Mitarbeiter etwas unfreundlich. Wir haben online zuvor vor zwei Monaten reserviert und zusätzlich noch eine Premium Versicherung. Da gemäß der Homepage vor Ort die Versicherung mind. ca. 500 mehr kostet. Zettel mit Erklärungen haben wir ausgedruckt. Erster Treffpunkt war INNEN im Airport neben Vodafone Ausgemacht. Wir pünktlich keiner Da. Nach herumfragen wurde uns gesagt das ein Mitarbeiter draußen steht. Dieser Mitarbeiter sagte uns gibt es nicht wir stehen nicht auf der Liste. Er hat uns trotzdem, da wir schriftlich eine Reservierung hatten, zur Zentrale gefahren. Dort erstmal Nummer ziehen und warten. Dann endlich am Tresen, Mitarbeiter sagte, unsere Reservierung gibt es nicht er müsste uns neu anlegen. ( Das scheint, wenn man die Rezensionen liest eine gern gemachte Masche zu sein) Bis dahin kein Problem. Neu angemeldet: kleineres Auto aber schon etwas teurer ( reichte aber Peugeot 208) Und nun wollte der Mitarbeiter das ich noch eine Versicherung für knapp 600 abschließe. Das verneinte ich mit der Begründung dass ich schon, von genau der Autovermietung, eine Versicherung habe. Die würde nicht gehen. Dann zum Auto: Schaut euch das Auto genauestens an wegen Beschädigungen und macht Fotos (lieber mehr als zu wenig) und weißt dem Mitarbeiter, der euch das Auto übergibt darauf hin Und , was wir nicht gemacht haben, schaut nach dem Motoröl. Einen Tag (Sonntag) später nach ca 200km , Rot Lampen im Cockpit sofort anhalten Motor aus! Fehler Oildruck. Oil stand geprüft....DER MESSSTAB WAR TROCKEN Das Auto war unten trocken und am Auspuff normal. Mehrere Nummern angerufen auch die angegebenen Notrufnummer. Nach ca 2h in der Warteschleife erfolglos aufgegeben. Und zu einer Tankstelle gelaufen und das richtige Typisierte Oil gekauft. (2l) 1,5 Liter eingefüllt. Danach keine Probleme mehr mit dem Auto. Abgabe war außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten (Aufpreispflichtig) Dieser Mitarbeiter war trotz das es sehr früh war freundlich. Die Sache mit dem Oil ist scheinbar normal. Und ja hatte vergessen zu erwähnen, ich habe meine Kaution die man hinterlegen muß wieder zurück bekommen. Das hat mir der freundliche Mann bei Rückgabe des Autos gesagt. Also für Euch die dort mieten wollen seid vorsichtig und lasst euch nicht übers Ohr ziehen. Und für das Unternehmen, wenn es keine Abzocke sein soll, arbeitet an eurer Homepage und dem Reservierungstool. Denn Daten können nicht einfach so verschwinden....(da man eine Bestätigung und auch die Versicherung gezahlt hat, ist man irgendwo auf dem Server) Oder Last es und macht nur Reservierungen im Büro.
I never recommended rent car from drive4move.From meet at airport till start drive car takes two and a half hours,we received a different type car than we ordered(not economy, but SUV).They start show the car in open air parking at the night time(was dark) and rain.When we return the car, employee check only kilometers and fuel and went strait to left rear wheel where find 1,5 centimeter scratch.It seems ,like he knows about this scratch.(i think this scratch was before we rent car) They charge 273,1 euro for it,when i tell - please show me price list he answer that he didnt return deposit ,if I didnt pay for this scratch. The employees behave very rudely and put pressure on us if we made a comment.

O carro veio com o depósito vazio, foi cobrado um valor superior do que estava previsto no contrato para ir á Espanha e no momento da devolução, cobraram 250 por um risco apenas visível na jante (com fotografia para apoiar que já estava). A franquia é retirada e devolvida até um mês depois da devolução! Fujam!!! Uma grande vergonha.

Péssima experiência. Empresa totalmente despreparada, 3 horas para levantar o carro. Uma fila inúmeras de pessoas revoltadas. Não havia ninguém responsável para justificar os problemas para os clientes. Até dentes hostis e mal educados, pior tratamento recebido em todo o mundo. Mais problemas para entrega do veículo, uma fila de 15 pessoas na espera para devolver. Novamente ninguém responsável para ajudar ou justificar a falta de organização, profissionalismo e respeito ao cliente. Quebrando qualquer regra de conduta para atrair o cliente novamente.
