I loved our car, and the service was excellent. But be wary when booking through the Enterprise app. You are renting a car with GUERIN, not Enterprise. Our estimated total on the app, which included 2 free days after redeeming points, was $117.00. The total we paid ended up being $341.00 for 5 days. First, you will be forced to add some of protection. While I always purchase the insurance, I was frustrated when I was told this was a requirement that wasn’t included in the estimate. Furthermore, you cannot add it on the app. Second, there is a $25.00 fee for filling up your car that was never disclosed. I’ve rented from Enterprise in the US well over one hundred times and it’s always been disclosed. Lastly, you will pay a 23% VAT that is NOT included in the estimate. The check in process, while the attendants were very nice and helpful, seems endless. You are asked to add every little bit of protection and service which adds up so easy. Again, NONE of this can be done in the app. I’m not upset about the price because that’s much lower than what I’ve paid for the same amount of days in the US. Only that I wasn’t able to add any of my insurance until I was 5000 miles away from home and certain fees weren’t disclosed. I don’t think I’ll use Guerin again.
If you are seeing this post, please but please, stay away from this company. Dont say let me give a chance.. I rented car in many countries but i have not ever had that much bad experience. They are pure scam. They charged 260 euros for strach on roof(which i did not do) and even could not prove anything...they had pictures of car from all sides except roof..himmm himmm...even if you are taking pictures, it will not work for you and they will create another story from another part(such as interior or under car etc..)..these guys are making a good amount money out of this scam.
As seem in many reviews. It seems very common they will scam you. The guy looked every single detail in the car until he could find something to charge us. We used a car for half a day and were charged 360 Euros for a minor scratch on the roof that we definitely did not do. Very sad experience. NEVER rent a car from Enterprise Lisbon airport.
Had the worst experience here. There was a small stain on the back seat when we picked up the car and I didn’t bother recording it as it’s not the first time I would rent a car with old car seat stains (not a new car). Spent 30 minutes documenting all other existing damage on the vehicle’s exterior. Upon returning the car, they insisted we were responsible for the seat stain. More importantly, TIAGO INACIO, was extremely demeaning and hurled insults at me when I advised that the stain was present at pickup. There’s a reason this outfit has poor reviews. It’s a thinly veiled extortion racket where they hope they can get you to pay for stuff that has nothing to do with you ($75 euros in my case). And they have the worst customer service I have encountered at a car rental. If you have a choice, avoid this dumpster fire of a company. If you don’t, then dedicate 45 minutes documenting even the tiniest marks on the car (inside and out). Otherwise, expect to be cheated and scammed by these guys!
Avoid Lisbon airport Enterprise. They do not check the mechanics of their cars often and released an unsafe car to me and my family that broke on the highway. My family, which included a 10 month baby waited for almost 4 hours in the summer heat to have a taxi take us to get a new car. Rent elsewhere, I will not use enterprise anymore.
Renting a car in Portugal was very challenging because all the companies had terrible reviews. For over two weeks, I was stressed and unable to decide where to make a reservation. The more reviews I read, the harder it became to make a choice. As my travel date approached, the prices kept rising, but I still couldn't decide. Eventually, I chose this company, and it turned out to be a blessing. Everything was automated. From check-in to check-out, the process was seamless. By pre-checking in on the website sent via email, I received the key much faster. Every step was confirmed through email, making it more efficient than other companies. Check-out was easy, and I received my deposit back within three days.
I’m not sure why the reviews are so horrid… I have had A LOT of bad experiences renting a car but this was hands down the best experience. Upon arrival we had excessive help from the team to check in - when we got the car it was basically brand new and ran perfectly! They include the toll pass with the car which was very helpful and the agents helped us not get scammed in extra protection that we didn’t need. The return process was EASY and quick! The only thing that was challenging was finding the drop off but that is to be expected in any airport return. We had an automatic car for 10 days and all in it cost us around $600 USD. We drove A LOT of kilometers which were all included in the rental. 10/10 cannot recommend this spot more!!!
DON’T USE ENTERPRISE!!!!!!!! Do not hire a car from Enterprise in Lisbon Airport, we hired a car for two days. When we hired the seat belt was broken which was incredibly dangerous. We reported the damage to the company but they did not respond. When we returned the car they then deducted €360 for a seat belt which would not go back in. Absolutely criminal!
Got a solid car that got me and 3 friends on a road trip for a few days. No issues returning the car.
The worst of the worst, the lowest of the lowest. It s a shame on Portugal and on Enterprise. Rude service, arrogant staff, back dated technologies. My car was missing a driver s side keyhole cover, discovered after an hour after picking up the car. Video taken but they said it wasn t discovered at the airport. Keyless entry battery was low, discovered 30 minutes into the trip, they said it was fine at the airport. They would hold Euro 1,000 safety deposit. Don t rent from them unless you are desperate.
Scammed us. Accused us of wheel damage. Charged us $500 for repair. Damage was was on the car before we left the lot.

Beware. This is not Enterprise you are renting from. It s a third party company that operates this business and you are dealing completely with their policies. Enterprise has nothing to do with it. Enterprise has always been very reliable and absolutely not known as scammers. Trustpilot.com reviews shows a lot of people who seems to have gotten in trouble with this third party company. Do your research and be on guard.
Dealt with Beatrice at the Lisbon Airport, she was extremely helpful & knowledgeable and gave us excellent customer service! She helped us out as I had booked the reservation in my name rather than my husbands name and she resolved our issue. We will use Enterprise again based on our experience with her! Terribly dishonest. They changed the price of the rental upon pickup by about 15% and said that the difference was because my reservation price (booked directly) was only an estimate
Ik had twee weken een huurauto van Enterprise rond de kerstdagen. Alles is prima verlopen. De afhandeling van de autohuur wordt gedaan door Guerin. Geen gezeur aan je hoofd over allerlei verzekeringen en extras omdat je zelf de autohuur invoert in een terminal van de verhuurder en niet onder druk wordt gezet door een medewerker. Dit heb ik als erg prettig ervaren. Bij de controle op schades van de auto maak je gebruik van een app waarmee je zelf de schades fotografeert en beschrijft. Enig probleem hierbij is dat je deze controle in een donkere parkeergarage moet doen. Buiten in de zon zag ik pas dat ik enkele kleine schades over het hoofd had gezien. Maar geen last van gehad bij het terugbrengen van de auto. Alleen de terugbetaling door Enterprise/Guerin van Adblue die ik onderweg moest tanken duurde een maand en was administratief erg lastig. Maar is uiteindelijk ook goed opgelost door de klantenservice van Guerin. Ik had de reservering voor de autohuur gemaakt via rental broker Sunnycars, met all inclusive verzekeringen. Paar tientjes duurder dan kale huur van een auto maar op die manier geen kopzorgen.

I rented a car for 3 days at Lisbon Airport and it all worked well. This is the 3rd time I have used Enterprise services with full satisfaction.
Really poor experience. Collection instructions were poor, was not given return instructions either. Colle tion took over an hour as they make you travel to two different locations to fill in things the collect keys. Car was clean and modern though!

Péssimo atendimento ao cliente, pessoas rudes. mas o verdadeiro MESTRE LADRÃO É TIAGO INACIO. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! If you don t buy full insurance they will charge you for a fake damage at the end and charge your card. Terrible customer service, rude people. but the real MASTER THIEVE IS TIAGO INACIO.

Die Abholung in Porto am Flughafen klappte reibungslos...allerdings muss man mit einem Shuttle zu Enterprise fahren...ging aber relativ schnell. Das Auto, das wir erhielten, war sauber und entsprach dem laut Vertrag. Die Rückgabe in Lissabon ...es dauert...also Zeit einkalkulieren...und der Abgabeort ist wirklich sehr schlecht ausgeschildert. Aber man kann sodann zu Fuss weiter in das Terminal gehen. Das Personal war soweit immer freundlich.

BEWARE!! SCAMMERS. You will rent one type of car online only to find out it s either unavailable or being returned soon then they up charge you to take a car that s on their lot. Totally a scam to make more money. When we rented the total was around 350 usd, but since that wasn t available and the only option was something else this rental turned into all most 1000.00 usd rental. Yes a thousand dollars!!! Even for the highest tiered member of this company you will get no one. service was poor, people were rude and disrespectful upon returning the car. I d highly suggest renting from another company. Enterprise, Almo and National all the same and I d stay away!! Definitely not like the service in the US or the car classes for the money paid.
Despite the bad reviews,my experience was almost excellent!The only weak point was the confirmation of the booking on the arrival,it was a little unnecessary,as I had to provide data that had already been sent during the online booking.Other than that,the experience was flawless.The return point is badly marked,do your research to find the exact spot.
My worst car rental experience. 2 hours to pick up the car. You first need to use an automated kiosk to generate a contract, and the system is not user friendly. There were many kiosks but most were not working. Only one employee on the floor helping people out. Long lines and lots of frustration after long night flights. Then, you need to go to another place to pick up your keys and there, again, its a complicated, automated system that did not work well. Long lines here again. Employees are friendly and helpful once you are able to talk to one. Then, you need a QR code to review the conditions of the car but our phones were not set up yet (we had just arrived) so we were told to take pictures of the conditions of the car. The car itself was ok and the return was fast. I have now returned the car, which lists all the damage they saw. All this damage was already there and I will now see if they will attempt to charge me for any of this.

They charged us extra for damage we didn t cause and could not be seen unless you looked underneath the car. As soon as we drove into the returns they came and photographed under the bumper and said we had caused the scratches there. They said it was our responsibility to have looked there and inform them of the damage before we hired the car. Be very very careful that you check your hire car and photograph everywhere, even from underneath.
Booked a car from the US and picked it up on April 14. Was helped by the manager, who spoke perfect English and was most helpful and professional. The car was exactly as booked, and I was in it in 15 minutes! The return was just as quick and easy. A perfect experience!

Fill in your details online ahead of time to make car pick-up even faster. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent car and no issues on return. Highly recommended.
Politique commerciale scandaleuse. Ils nous ont prélevé 300 euros pour des soi disant dégâts (1 griffe dans le pare choc et 1 dans la jante). Le véhicule nous a été délivré dans un garage sombre à Lisbonne le 25 décembre . Impossible de détecter ce genre de dégâts, que nous naurions jamais signalé tant ils sont mineurs. La reprise sest faite à faro, dans un parking en plein air. Nous sommes certains que nous navons pas commis ces dégâts. Malgré des discussions à faro et une dépose de plainte par mail, rien ny fait. Ces gens sont vraiment scandaleusement malhonnêtes. A fuir. Nous aurions dû lire les nombreuses remarques négatives avant.
AVOID THIS ALAMO AGENCY AT ALL COST IF YOU PRESERVE YOUR MONEY. I have been robbed of 581 EUR from the rental deposit. I rented a car and I returned it at 6 am, when the office is closed. For my utmost surprise they sent me a bill of 581 EUR of damage on the front wheel of the car, whereas I returned the car not even as much as a scratch. Amazingly, this is not new. Other clients returning the car after hours complain about the same scam, and some are exactly the same: a damage on the wheel. Just check the comments. I will now file a lawsuit to these gangsters.
