I researched numerous Europcar, as well as other car rental company, locations in Lisbon. I am very glad that I picked the Downtown Alameda location. Ali was quite possibly the most friendly and helpful rental agent I have encountered in a long time. You should give him a raise and/or bonus. It is Ali who really makes this location, and Europcar, stand out from the crowd in Lisbon.
Super easy and quick. Pick up and drop off, was a little tough to find as you have to pull into an underground parking garage and underneath the street in the parking garage you can find the eurocar booth! Overall very easy though!

They simply cancelled a reservation they accepted. We already had a hotel booked at a our destination. They were completely unprofessional over the phone and wouldn't help. We ended up going to Turiscar in Saldanha, they were the complete opposite, very professional and helpful. Highly recommend not using Europcar at Alameda. Still mad about it
Had an amazing experience with Europcar, the staff member at this location was very helpful and friendly which made the rental experience even smoother! Definitely recommend this place for someone who would like to rent a car for a few days and explore this great country!!! 10/10
HOSPITAL, NO ROAD ASSISTANCE AND EXTRA CHARGE NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE The service received was not only disappointing but it exposed my brother and I to danger. This was regardless of us being very specific of the risks we were exposed to during multiple calls to the road assistance. My brother and I were supposed to enjoy some time off, instead we lost 2 days from our schedule and spent time at the hospital when this could be avoided. Not to mention the stress of the entire situation. I counted on EUROPCAR in a place I was not familiar with (the lady I spoke on the phone with was poorly prepared to the situation, her entire dealing with the call added stress and frustration).

J ai loué une voiture en octobre dernier, la location s est bien passé et la voiture était bien. Mais faite attention, ils m ont pris 100 de caution pour l essence qui ne m ont jamais rendu. Après 3 mois de réclamation par mail, toujours pas de remboursement. Faite attention avec la caution en CB. Ce n est pas honnête et le service client n est pas compétant.
Worst organization. I waited 2h the car in the parking. The organization is a mess to deliver car to people and solve small problems.
Lemplacement est un plus il se situe dans un parking souterrain qui colle la bouche de métro quelques arrêts sans changement de Rossio. La gentillesse et lamabilité du monsieur est un réel plus disponible et répondant aux questions malgré la barrière de la langue (terme technique portugais) Et la rapidité à laquelle on récupère le véhicule et on le rend tout est simple tout est clair je recommande. De plus nous avons été surclassé car javais demandé une Fiat 500 du fait du prix et du peu de temps de location 3 jours finalement jai eu un joli SUV hybride.

We scheduled the pick up by 10:00 am and its still 11:30 and the car hasnt been delivered to us, were just standing here... Quite unprofessional for a car that was booked weeks in advance.
Teníamos el coche para recogida a las 10h. Llegamos, había un poco de cola... Comprensible. Hacemos check-in sobre las 10.30h... estamos saliendo del parking 11.45h. Llevamos una hora y 15 minutos esperando a que nos den el coche, que por supuesto no tienen aquí. Una vergüenza.

Do not rent the car from them using your debit card. Because they keep charging you for toll passage every single month. Ive contacted them and asked why are they doing that, they said theyll follow up with the company collecting the toll fees and will get back to me. They didnt. I asked them to remove my debit card from their system and DO NOT take money out of my bank account without my consent. They havent removed it yet. So be careful dealing with them. Theyll take money out of your account every single month!
2h para retirar el auto. El pobre hombre trabajaba solo recibía, entregaba, gestionaba el lavado, le faltaba lavarlo nomas. Muy simpático el señor. Me dieron un auto que no era el que reservé, tuve que esperar que lo lavaran fatal. Si que armante de paciencia para retirar aqui.

La recogida del vehículo fue rápida. La persona que nos atendió fue muy amable. El carro estaba en óptimas condiciones y la devolución del vehículo también fue muy rápida.

Location parfaite. Une petite difficulté pour localiser l agence qui se trouve dans le parking souterrain mais à part cela rien à redire. Personnel accueillant et voiture propre et correspondant parfaitement à nos attentes. Option de retour différence qui nous rendu service et permis de profiter de notre dernière soirée à Lisbonne.

Good location - easy access from city centre. Helpful and friendly staff. They explained all the arrangements, so renting process was fast and easy. No problems during rental period or returning the car.

My experience with Europcar Lisbon Alameda was great. This is my third time renting from Europcar in Lisbon over last 1.5 months, and every time its a new Europcar location. Mainly choosing the location based on google reviews, but not every location has the availability for my needed dates - so have to switch between different locations. The car pickup process was smooth - we did a thorough walk around the car, marked all damages, and took a 360 degree video of the car. The car had some scratches, but it was understandable considering its mileage. The staff were friendly and didnt pressure us to purchase additional insurance, as we already had it on our credit card. We rented the car for a weekend and it was perfect for our needs. The drop-off process was also straightforward, but there was a bit of a wait because someone was picking up a car before me. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would recommend this Europcar location.
Everything went smoothly and easily. The service was excellent, very helpful (unfortunately I dont remember the attendants name). Would rent again for sure!

It is located in the underground parking lot. I had booked the car online for 09.30, received it at 10.15 and waited for it to be washed. When you have an appointment it would be good to have them ready.

Europcar in Alameda experience was nice and smooth, Friendly and helpful staff. I only recommend renting the car only through the website as its even much cheaper. Staff was really nice and dealt with everything how all rental companies should do.

Nem atendem o telefone! Nem a mim nem à central. Não recomendo mesmo. Correm o mesmo risco que eu. Alugar um carro e não ter qualquer resposta. Nem a própria central consegue dar resposta. Muito mau.
Sono costretta a far così per avere una risposta in quanto io abbia contattato l assistenza più e più volte senza ricevere nessuna risposta.. oramai è passata una settimana. Mi avete addebitato 76 , vorrei sapere qual è la motivazione dopo un mese dal mio rientro.. Mi sono trovata bene con voi e lo consiglio però almeno la motivazione nell addebito doveva esserci. Aspetto una risposta .. grazie

Excelente servicio en menos de 1t minutos estaba saliendo en el coche de la oficina de Alameda en lisboa y menos de 10 minutos entregando el coche en Porto.
Seit der Rückgabe des Autos im Sommer gibt es jedes Monat Abbuchungen von meinem Konto. Ohne jeglicher Information/Rechnung. Support wurde mehrfach per Telefon, Mail und Kontaktformular kontaktiert. Keine Reaktion, es wird nur weitergeleitet. Zum Standort selbst: Der Mitarbeiter war sehr freundlich. Die Abwicklung ging sehr schnell.

Quelques frayeurs pour trouver lagence en souterrain et quelques incompréhension pour la réservation mais globalement très satisfaits, personnel agréable, bonne organisation, voiture surclassée et pas de mauvaise surprise dans le tarif.

Tip: the europcar office is inside the parking garage. Wonderful lady that helped us! There was a French family before us that gave her an incredibly hard time for reasons I don t know, but we had the best experience because of her hospitable service.
Prima esperienza con Eurpacar Alameda ci è stata consegnata una wolsvagen Troc completamente sporca sia dentro che fuori, che probabilmente era appena rientrata e messa al noleggio subito...alla faccia del Corona Virus dato che a Giugno il Portogallo era ancora nel pieno della pandemia.. Cose da pazzi era veramente lercia con escrementi di uccelli e tantissime ditate dentro e polvere ovunque!! Questa succursale andrebbe denunciata! E il noleggio in Europcar non è così a buon mercato! Prima e ultima volta! Andrò a contattare la sede centrale e farò presente laccaduto!

Con artists. Our car broke down on day one of the rental, we were told to drop it off and get a replacement, but they had no other cars available. Despite telling us we would get refunded, we were charged the full amount of the three day rental, claiming that nothing was wrong with the car

Se encuentra en el estacionamiento subterráneo. El servicio es bueno, el encargado muy solícito, pero cómo es unipersonal, puede pasar de esperar 20 minutos q aparezca, ya q tbn busca vehículos del aeropuerto.
I hired my car here due to better ratings on G-maps. I had my Credit card also registered for an automatic toll collect since I had read stories about toll collect problems in Portugal. So after the journey I assumed all was fine. No bill has been sent to me. Some 4 months later a letter from Euro Parking Collection plc was in my post box asking me to pay the toll plus extra fees for each toll count amounting to double amount in total. I had to contact Europcar Headquarters who said there were technical difficulties with Europcar Lisboa and they would try to help to sort out the issue. Some time later the amount for the toll was deducted from my Credit card. One(1) month later I got a message from EPC citing Notice of Rejection of my appeal and urging me to pay the open amount of the toll. It is first time in my life to experience this kind of cheating. I am unwilling to pay the extra fees as I feel cheated. I regularly hire cars throughout Europe without any problems. So I will avoid car rentals in Portugal in future.

2nd time this has happened with Europcar. Added on insurance (said no twice) and breakdown cover (never asked) and when I questioned the price they said it was just an estimate and also took about 800 Euro authorisation. Rang them afterwards to try and sort it and they said I d have to go back to the office - only I m now 200 miles away. Should have known to avoid these sharks.

Très mauvaise expérience ! Nous avions réservé une voiture dans cette agence située dans le centre-ville de Lisbonne : arrivés là-bas, personne ! On appelle le numéro, personne ne décroche. On attend 30 minutes et toujours rien. Nous avons donc pris un taxi pour rejoindre lagence Europcar située à laéroport car on était sûrs quelle serait ouverte. Une fois à laéroport, le ton est monté avec le personnel dEuropcar car lagent voulait nous faire payer les taxes daéroport pour la voiture de location ! Inadmissible. Il sest finalement ravisé mais cela nous a quand même bien énervés, coûté la course du taxi et on a perdu une demi-journée là-bas !

Il vous facilitera la vie lors de votre location de voiture, dont les prix sont moins chers quà laéroport, et vous conseillera de la meilleure manière qui soit , tout en étant extrêmement disponible ! Vous voulez lui faire plaisir en retour ? Offrez-lui des chocolats... Belges ;-)

Alquilar auto acá hace toda la diferencia gracias a Jorge, persona atenta, amable, amigable y servicial. Gran persona. Este es uno de esos casos donde el servicio te hace toda la diferencia, además ni los precios, ni los autos están mal. Si vas a alquilar auto tomate el esfuerzo de alquilarlo acá (Europcar de alameda) y te vas a ahorrar un montón de disgustos
Very good staff on normal days, but on the weekends it gets riled by another partner company which is not even closer to be a good service provider. I have booked to return my rental car at 13:00h and at 13:30 I was still waiting for someone to come, open the branch and allow me to return the keys.
Un poco dificil dar con el lugar si vas caminando, la oficina se encuentra en el estacionamiento subterranea del parque que esta enfrente de la estación de metro Alameda, es una oficina muy pequeñita, sin embargo la persona que nos atendió muy amable y platicador.
