**SCAM ALERT** This place operates under like three different names. No one did a walk around the car with us when we took it out. We thought all the damage was marked because the car report was labeled with a ton of damage in different places - 24 places marked. We assumed the tiny dent (hard to see unless you stare at a particular angle) was what was one of the numbers marked as the writing of the damage description is tiny and in light grey and there were 24 of them marked so we could not go through all of them on Christmas evening. Since no one walked around with us it was hard to tell what was marked and what was not. They are asking for a $1000 damages for what they claim to be a dent that was marked on the paper and could only be seen with a test pattern, and a scratch that we thought was already marked. Beware - the prices are cheap but they seem to make their money in claims.
Service is efficient and reliable. Vehicle was in good condition. All previous blemishes were well noted and return was smooth and expedient. Totally recommend this company for car rentals. Obrigado Diana
If I could give them 0 stars I would. They will charge you money for nothing, scratches that didn’t even exist. Be aware, we did a whole video of our rental car the day we rented, but the day we give the car back the guy who received it found a “scratch”that supposedly was not there. Even after showing him the video. Charging us hundreds of dollars for something was not there.
attention - I will never rent again with this company - they are on my blacklist. this company is not in the business of renting cars but in the business of selling extra insurance or trying to claim as much damages ( and not repairing them ). I did get a car with more than 19 very small damages and a 2/3 tank full. of course they did find two very superficial additional damages when returning for which they charged more than 300 € while you know they will not repair them ( so cash in the pocket ) and of course I did put more fuel in he car ( as you are afraid they will double charge you if it is a little bit less fuel in the car) and this is also € in their pocket.
I had an absolutely terrible experience with a car rental through Booking.com. I booked a car and took the option to add insurance through Zurich, ensuring I was fully covered. I even read all the paperwork to make sure everything was in order. However, when I arrived at the rental location, things quickly went downhill. First, the lady who served me said my booking was from 10 AM, even though I didn't need the car until the afternoon. The website didn't allow me to change the pickup time, and she informed me that they might not have a car available unless I paid for an upgrade. After some back-and-forth, she confirmed they had the car I originally booked, but that was just the beginning of the issues. When we started the process, she insisted that I needed to buy additional insurance, despite the fact that I had already purchased full insurance through Booking.com. I showed her all the documents proving I was covered, but she claimed that the insurance I had didn't cover their cars. After a frustrating discussion, she finally agreed to proceed but then messed up the payment process. I clearly told her that the payment required a chip and pin for security, yet she kept trying to tap the card, which blocked it after three failed attempts. She did the same thing with a second card, leaving me with two blocked cards. When I asked for a manager, I had to wait over an hour, only to be met with more rudeness and unhelpfulness. The manager insisted that I had to buy their insurance or I wouldn't be allowed to take the car, and I would still be charged regardless. This entire experience was nothing short of a scam. They tried to upsell me on insurance I didn't need, mishandled my payment, and wasted over an hour and a half of my time. I would strongly advise against using this rental service—they are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and downright shady. Avoid at all costs!
Great service, good car and excellent value. Both the pick up and the return were efficient and no issues encountered. We dealt with Martin who was really polite, easy going and straight-forward. Would recommend and would go with these guys again.
BEWARE! This company is not exactly in the car rental business. They profit on charging clients for small, mosquito bite size, damages and/or on pushing expensive insurance on the clients. SurPrice charged me for the 0.3cm chip of paint on the plastic and for 1cm abrasion (not even a scrath through) on the paint on the door rim. For the sake of comparison, other rentals don't bother if a scratch is smaller than 3 (Stern rentacar) or even 4 cm (RecordGo). So, don't be lured by low prices and AVOID !
Worst rental experience ever. They charged 190 euros for a 1 cm superficial scratch located below the bumper, which included a 74 euros administration fee. They also haven’t refunded me in full for the security deposit although I’ve already paid the damage, the highway tolls and everything. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING THEY DO! I don’t have a clue what happened for the scratch: Is it possible that it was there in the first place? I’ve been renting cars for more than 20 years in various countries and I’ve never seen such strict policy. When I told them that it was Surprice’s (also called international car) business model to make money out of this they said, to my surprise, that indeed it was. Also note that although the contract might be written in English, the report for the scratch could only be written in Portuguese. Also note that while we were waiting for the report, there were other clients with the similar problems. Be very careful if you indeed decide to do business with them, they are deceiving.

Contrariamente às várias reviews, não tenho absolutamente nada a apontar. Foi a melhor experiência possível. A carrinha de 9 lugares era nova, superou as expectativas, o serviço ao balcão muito eficiente e a caução foi devolvida no ato da entrega da viatura. Fiz o seguro de cobertura total e por isso não tive qualquer problema.
Aluguel do veículo correu sem nenhum problema desde a entrega até sua devolução, highlight ao trabalho da Eduarda com seu acompanhamento na entrega e devolução do mesmo

Très bonne expérience avec cette agence de location, aussi bien lors de la prise de la voiture quau retour. Létat des lieux est minutieux et juste. Les explications sont claires. Nous avons attendu 20 bonnes minutes à notre arrivée à laéroport mais pas du tout dattente pour le retour. Merci à Martin pour sa prise en charge et sa gentillesse ! Je recommande !
Je viens de lire les avis et je ne suis pas impressionnée, assurance oblitatoire, facturation non justifiée pour réparations. Les employés ne mapparaissent pas être tous honnêtes. Je ne louerai pas de voiture dInternational Car à Lisbonne de la mi-février à la fin mars. Si vous ne voulez pas de mauvais commentaires, soyez honnêtes les gens ne sont pas dupes.
A Internacional Car não tem ninguém no aeroporto para nos informar sobre a forma de chegar ao Stand. Eu estive mais de 2H30 minutos a espera da carrinha para me levar para levantar o carro. Depois de perguntar aos outros Stands de aluguer sobre a Internacional Car lá me foram dizendo qual a carrinha e que afinal representava 3 Stands em simultâneo. Nem a linha de apoio onde telefonei 3 vezes funciona porque é de respostas automáticas e não te responde directamente ao que pretendes porque a central funciona no Porto. Pelo menos o condutor deveria ter uma placa para informar os clientes como fazem as outras companhias que operam no aeroporto. Uma má experiência que espero que seja resolvida da próxima vez que alugar um carro na vossa empresa porque é desta forma que se perdem clientes e que nunca mais voltam. Saudações Cordiais. Alugo em muitas, as outras locadoras deveriam inspirar seus serviços e regras por esta (5 Estrelas) Atualização: De 5 estrelas para 2! (25/ Novembro) Duas semanas depois notei uma cobrança de 110 dólares no meu cartão, e entreguei o veículo perfeitamente, e me confirmaram que estava tudo perfeito. Não fui notificado e agora vou ter que ir lá pra descobrir que cobrança é esta, mas não fui notificado em nenhum momento e poderia ter pago sem nem ter visto essa cobrança. CUIDADO!

Martin helped me check in and out both times. He was patient and kind. I was having trouble hooking up my phone to the car and he assisted me to figure that out. He speaks English well too.
Hello I have rented a car between 23rd and 26th of Ausgust via Booking.com (741378872), I have received a charge on my credit card on the 09-10-2024 for an amount of 79,75, but I have not received any details on this charge, neither an email neither a call. Could you please check and notify the reason of those charge? Thank you in advance.
Very bad experience with this company. Dont go there. We have to pay twice (one time at reservation and to make a new one) because they doesnt accept all CB when you go to take the car. Très mauvaise expérience avec cette entreprise. A éviter. Réservation et paiement davance faite avec une CB, à larrivée il refuse CB qui avait déjà réglé pour la caution. Refuse de le faire avec une autre CB. Au final, nous avons dû repayer une nouvelle réservation. A fuir!

I do not recommend it, I waited 50 minutes for the shuttle service, I had to call an Uber! Telephone service does not allow you to speak to an attendant, we only listen to the recordings, which indicate the location of the shuttle and say that there will be a representative of the company near the Vodafone store, but there is no representative of this company!

Nous avons eu une très mauvaise expérience avec cette agence de location. À notre arrivée, on nous a fortement incités à souscrire une assurance supplémentaire, bien que nous en avions déjà une via CARIGAMI. Nous avons refusé et une caution de 3075 a été prise. Le véhicule qui nous a été attribué avait une ceinture défaillante, et il a fallu plus dune heure pour en obtenir un autre, sans état des lieux et avec un réservoir presque vide. De plus, la feuille de contrôle que nous avons signée ne correspondait pas au véhicule réellement pris en charge. À notre retour, on nous a facturé des micro-rayures qui étaient déjà présentes, (je dispose de photos datées) ainsi que des frais de nettoyage non spécifiés. Ils nous ont fait payer des réparations sur un véhicule qui navait même pas été contrôlé par leurs soins et pour lequel nous avons rien signé car le contrat initial et la feuille de contrôle correspondaient à un autre véhicule. Nous louons des véhicules chaque été au Portugal et cest la première fois en 15 ans que nous rencontrons un service aussi déplorable. En lisant les autres commentaires je me rends compte que cette pratique est récurrente et quils facturent de façon injustifiée régulièrement. Un conseil choisissez un autre loueur !
Scammers. They charged the road fees twice (30 euro). First, I paid it upon the car return, one month later they charged my card again. Otherwise , the car itself was ok, and the pickup and return process went well.
The car they gave me had damage all over the place was embarrassing to drive that vehicle. horrible, horrible experience picking up the car. Staff was very rude. Do not recommend using this company at all.
Schlechtester Mietwagen service, den ich je hatte. Musste das Auto am Ende wegen 3 Sandkörnern nochmal an der Tanke saugen, sonst 120 extra. Dann am Ende noch eine Gebühr von 21 nachzahlen müssen (nicht Zoll) und dir Kaution betrug 1884 statt der angegebenen 300 Zu allem übel hatte der 1. Wagen einen Motorschaden (aber gut, kann passieren) Auf jeden Fall richtige Abzocke vibes.

I had a very bad experience; I was charged for a damage that was already visible in the photos of the contract. The exact location of the damage is shown in the photos, but they are of such poor quality that you can t see it properly. I trusted the woman who took the photos, as we were checking the car together. But why would she photograph that spot and include it in the contract if there was nothing there before? I even took a photo of it later when I arrived home, as I didn t notice it as much in the sunlight when I picked up the car. Ultimately, I had to pay 174.- for the damage. Never again! UPDATE: while trying to talk to the persons there, as suggested in the answer below, the email doesn t go through. Apparently the mailbox is full
MR.owner of international car! I rented a car on Expedia paid full and extra insurance. When I picked up the car , Your employee talked me into buying in house insurance plus pre paid toll transponder which he said was installed on all your cars so I wouldn t have to worry about tolls. So I paid another 199 dollars for 4 days of renting your car. I am back in Canada and you charged my credit card over a month later 64 dollars for toll .This is very dishonest to cheat customers sell them insurance and toll and charge them double . This action makes you and your country looks very bad in the eyes of the world . Thank You Please don t tell me toll has nothing to do with you just tell your guy at the office that don t sell something that has nothing to do with your company. And if it does. Then why I got double charged ?
Cheap, but long waiting times (1hr+) for pickup and dropoff
Biggest scam I ever experienced. Trick you into buying extra insurance. Offer you as an agreement to pay your road toll but in the end you have to pay it in your own. They will try to scary you into buying it but that s all a sales process. Indivuall agreement HAVE NO IMPACT in the end. My experience: in the end you will pay the double price here as you planed.

ABZOCKE! Geschäftsmodell beruht darauf, dass Schäden (v.a. kleine Lack-Abbröckelungen) dem Mieter/Tourist verrechnet werden die schon im Vorhinein vorhanden waren. Unfreundliches Personal (Tiago Selcz/Jelcz) obendrauf. NIE MEHR WIEDER UND DEFINITIV NICHT WEITER ZU EMPFEHLEN!
Absolute Abzocke und unseriös!! Bevor das Auto übergeben wird, werden die Mängel (angeblich ganz genau) dokumentiert. Nachdem wir nach einer Woche das Auto zurückgeben wollten, wurden wir sofort beschuldigt einen (sehr offensichtlichen) Schaden verursacht zu haben. Zum Glück habe ich zur Sicherheit zu Beginn auch ein Foto davon gemacht, somit hatten wir einen Beweis, dass dieser schon zuvor da war (so viel zur angeblich gründlichen vorab Dokumentation) ihrerseits). Jedoch wurde mein Beweis bereits hinterfragt mit Aussagen wie haben Sie denn kein Video davon? . Er ging danach weiter auf die Suche und wurde bei einer minimalen Lack-Abbröckelung (2 mm) fündig, die sie natürlich auch nicht dokumentiert haben. Und natürlich machen sie auch keine Bilder von dem ganzen Auto, sodass man im Nachhinein nachsehen kann, ob es den Schaden bereits davor gegeben hat. Hier wird absichtlich darauf gesetzt, nur die gezoomten Schäden zu fotografieren, damit für alle anderen Kleinigkeiten kein Beweis dargelegt werden kann, dass dieser bereits davor da war. Somit mussten wir zusätzlich für einen Schaden, der nicht durch uns entstanden ist, zahlen. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich (insbesondere Tiago Selcz und die Person beim Empfang) und wirkte von Anfang an berechnend. Die finden bei jedem Auto einen noch so kleinen Kratzer, die sie euch unterstellen, um an zusätzliches Geld zu kommen. NIE WIEDER!! Sucht euch bitte lieber eine andere Autovermietung, außer ihr wollt, dass euer Urlaub/Reise vermiest wird.
Altamente sconsigliato. Fuori dallaeroporto di Lisbona abbiamo trovato la navetta che ci ha portato presso lagenzia: abbiamo atteso ben 2 ore e mezza per essere ricevuti. Una volta ricevuti i documenti ci portano al garage sperando di poter ritirare subito la macchina ma invano: doveva ancora esser lavata. Attendiamo quindi altri 20 minuti. Ci hanno dato una macchina nuova di zecca la quale non aveva fatto nemmeno i 150km di rodaggio quindi non fosse andata bene sarebbe stato un grosso problema per lintera vacanza. Aggiungo che ci è stata consegnata con la spia della benzina accesa in quanto non cera nemmeno una tacca. Mai più, non andateci.
Didn t accept credit card which usually always works. Several people had the same problem. Offer to accept debit card for an additional 182 euros - poor customer experience!
Not my best rental experience. The first thing was a very poor customer service by Mrs Diana. I am not from here, her explanation about toll fees on different roads was confusing as hell, I kindly asked again, she was clearly annoyed as I understood her swearing in Portuguese while carrying pretty bad attitude. After I got handed a car which after 3 minutes started popping transmission light, refusing to go uphill. The help-line was helpless, it s an automated voicemail directing you to chat on WhatsApp. Luckily we weren t far away so we got car exchanged, a slight upgrade which was nice. The short hair assistant girl was very professional and helpful.

You have to pay for activation of the via verde but I know that this thing doesn t have to be activated for every single customer. Once the car has this via verde for telepeagem, no need to activate it 100 times. Then, they asked me 85 to extend my rent for only 4h. Lastly, I waited almost 2 hours to get the car. I don t recommend this company at all. You wait so long for a very poor service and they made 0 effort to give me even a little discount on the extension of my rent.

The worst rental car I ever come across!!! Don t try to rent a car with them! The service at the desk is very bad unpleasant people. The most of it they kept my deposit it never was refunded, they charged full petrol deposit even the tank was half full! I did rent the car over two years ago and all this time I have tried to contact they in order to get the deposit refunded but no success at all. I went again to Portugal and went to see them to complain about it still couldn t get it. I am still fighting with them with my bank as there is nobody there even the supervisor can assist you, Be careful with this rental car actually AVOID THEM .

I wish I could give less stars than this. It says there is a shuttle from the airport every 15 minutes but we waited for 1,5 hour. Then we finally arrived at the office and we had to wait another 2 hours!! Why does it take so long? Half our day was gone unfortunately. During our rental, our flight was canceled and we wanted to extend our rental. However, you CANT reach customer service in any way. Weve tried whatsapp, phone, email and even the emergency number. No one answered!! We are happy we didnt have an accident during our rental because there is no way to reach them. When we brought back our car they tried charging us for scratches you can barely see. We also already pointed out these scratches when picking up the car and then they said it wasnt a problem. We are very happy we made a video beforehand of the car so we didnt have to pay. Also we pointed out that we couldnt reach them during our rental and they its normal that no one answered the phone. Please watch out!!! Dont do this and look for a better car rental.
Je confirme tous les autres commentaires. Je suis dailleurs très étonnés quils aient des notes positives. Il est certain quils achètent des bonnes notes et que leurs employés en mettent eux même. Tout est mauvais dans cette société. Laccueil, le temps dattente et les frais injustifiés. Fuyez absolument.
Des arnaqueurs faites des photos tous les 30 cm de toute la carrosserie ne pas oublier le pare-brise là aussi de gauche à droite et de haut en bas de plus attendre plus d une heure au départ et pas mieux au retour et sans sourire les photos viendront plus tard 805. euros dans le .

BEWARE, company managed by people with bad intentions. When inspecting delivery, they do it quickly, in a dark place. During the car return inspection, they tried to find minimal, almost imperceptible risks to charge exorbitant amounts. Typical attitude of bad faith and fraud. We looked for management and were attended by even more inexperienced and arrogant boys, who were clearly waiting for the complaint to do the same act as always. A perfect gang. I will inform the police, a company like this should be closed. CUIDADO, empresa gerida por pessoas mal intencionadas. Na vistoria da entrega fazem de forma rápida, em local escuro. Na vistoria da retirada procuraram encontrar riscos mínimos quase que imperceptíveis para cobrar valores exorbitantes. Tipica atitude de má fé e pilantragem. Procuramos a gerência e fomos atendidos por meninos ainda mais inexperientes e arrogantes, que claramente já ficam esperando a reclamação para fazer a mesma encenação de sempre. Uma perfeita quadrilha. Vou comunicar a polícia, empresa como essa deve ser fechada.

They tried to finance me both with an insignificant scratch and on the basis of a low fuel tank. Fortunately, I had been warned in advance and had taken careful photos of the entire car + instrument panel. I didnt agree to pay for something I didnt cause. After 5-10 minutes of arguing they gave in and I didnt have to pay anything. I noticed that almost everyone was tried to cheat in the same way. Stay strong and dont let them fool you!
Just returned the car 1 hour ago. All went well but shuttle driver was absolutely mannerless. He kept texting while driving and when I asked after dropping where is departure lounge he started misbehaving and yelling I was shocked. Please do not rent a car even if it is free. I wish I rated -100

Return - there was nobody. Had to give myself extra time due to fear of how long it would take etc. Do not use.
Extremely disappointed with this rental service in Lisbon. Upon return, the staff used a flashlight to meticulously search for any possible damage and claimed we caused a new scratch. This was particularly frustrating because the person who handed us the car initially dismissed several minor marks as too minuscule to note. Even with the supposed new scratch, it was so insignificant that we couldn t discern it. The lack of willingness to engage in a fair discussion or offer any resolution from the staff was appalling. Their approach felt predatory, focusing on exploiting customers rather than providing service. I strongly advise against using this company due to their unethical practices and unhelpful attitude.
I had a bad experience returning my rental car. The agent closely inspected the car and found a small dent that you cant see with the doors closed. We picked up a car that was already scratched and dented. When returning it, an employee used a flashlight to find a small, unmarked dent and blamed us for a tiny scratch, trying to charge 190. It felt like a @SCAM and they ended up charging us near 300 without our agreement or giving us a receipt.
Mit einer so unverschämten Autovermietung hatten wir es noch nie zu tun. Für einen mit bloßem Auge kaum zu sehenden Kratzer an der Felge wurden uns 254,00 in Rechnung gestellt. Einem auf uns folgenden Mieter wurden 260,00 abgenommen , mit der Behauptung, der bisher gezahlte Betrag wäre nur die Anzahlung gewesen. Zum Rufen der Polizei war keine Zeit, da wir zum Flughafen mussten.
Très décevant ! Je réserve sur Holiday car en voyant que cest lagence surprice avec laquelle je travaille souvent sur Porto pour laquelle je paie une assurance afin de ne pas avoir de caution. Mais cest international car qui représente Surprice à Lisbonne et malgré une assurance qui prend en charge la caution que jai déjà payé sur le site mais doit rajouté 116 euros, je dois encore laissé 400Euros de caution. Or à Porto cette assurance permet de ne pas avoir à laisser de caution. Un budget vacance considérablement réduit !

Es wurde nicht versucht, noch irgendwelche Versicherungen zu verkaufen. Die Erklärung für die Maut war gut. Das Fahrzeug war fast neu und entsprach der gebuchten Kategorie. Der Zustand des Fahrzeugs war ebenfalls super aus. VORSICHT: beim anbieten wird eine richtige Kreditkarte, keine Debitkarte, benötigt.

A savoir : légère rayure sur une jante avant gauche quil ma facturé 260 , alors que je ny suis en rien responsable Si vous louez cette voiture attention à cette rayure Mais le mieux cest de fuir ce loueur Ces escrocs se sont aperçus que lorsque nous prenons possession du véhicule, nous examinons la carrosserie mais pas les jantes et de là, la pratique de surfacturation pour une jante rayée. Extremely slow and rude service when picking the vehicle up. Upon pre-trip inspection, I pointed out a few minor scratches on the plastic hubcap, however their employee told me that they were minor and they weren t concerned with them and weren t worth noting. Upon return of the vehicle, their employee now says that I damaged the vehicle and demands that I pay 125 for the scratches. I explain to him that this was already discussed, however he insists and says that if I don t agree to pay, they won t return my 1,500 deposit. My deposit was returned and then they charged my card without consent anyways. This company is not reputable and should be avoided. For whoever is the next person to take this car (piece of junk black Peugeot 108), watch out for the passenger rear hubcap as they ll charge you for these scratches too! This company will respond with an automated response to my review asking for details so they can review or say that their contract allows them to do this. Rest assured, these unauthorized charges are being disputed by my financial institution. Empresa absolutamente terrível do início ao fim. Atendimento extremamente demorado e grosseiro na retirada do veículo. Na inspeção pré-viagem, apontei alguns pequenos arranhões na calota de plástico, porém o funcionário deles me disse que eram pequenos e não se preocupavam com eles e não valiam a pena notar. Após a devolução da viatura, o seu funcionário diz agora que danifiquei a viatura e exige que pague 125 pelos arranhões. Explico-lhe que isso já foi discutido, no entanto ele insiste e diz que se eu não concordar em pagar, não vão devolver o meu depósito de 1.500. Meu depósito foi devolvido e eles cobraram meu cartão sem consentimento de qualquer maneira. Esta empresa não é respeitável e deve ser evitada. Para quem for o próximo a levar este carro (pedaço de lixo Peugeot 108 preto), cuidado com a calota traseira do passageiro, pois eles também cobram por esses arranhões! Esta empresa responderá com uma resposta automática à minha análise solicitando detalhes para que eles possam revisar ou dizer que seu contrato permite que eles façam isso. Fique tranquilo, essas cobranças não autorizadas estão sendo contestadas por minha instituição financeira.
Absolut unseriös! Nachdem alles nach einem Wartesystem geplant ist und das System mit dem Nummern ziehen ausfiel, herrschte absolutes Chaos. Wir bekamen per Email einen Termin für 12:00 Uhr zugeteilt und saßen gegen 13:30 Uhr endlich im Auto. Wenn man nach einem Auto fragt, was theoretisch die gleiche Klasse hat, die man gebucht hat, wird man darauf hingewiesen, dass man dann eine höhere Klasse hätte buchen müssen. Bei den Einstellungen kann einem auch niemand helfen, da man sich mit den Fahrzeugen nicht auskennt... Das dicke Ende kam bei der Rückgabe in Faro: man hat uns gerade versucht einen Altschaden (leicht eingedrücktes Plastikteil, das weder gerissen noch gebrochen ist) als unseren Schaden zu verkaufen! Aber erst nachdem man gehört hat, dass wir in Deutschland Vollkasko versichert ist!
CUIDADO, quando levantarem o carro tomem nota de todos os riscos, amolgadelas, jantes enfim vejam tudo, fotografem, registem na vossa folha. O nosso carro foi nos entregue com múltiplos riscos, raspões e jante toda amolgada mesmo assim conseguiram descobrir uma amolgadela que mal se via a olho nu ( menor que uma ervilha) e nem tinha tinta tirada, que já lá estava antes com toda a certeza. A brincadeira saiu por 300 ( este dinheiro dá para arranjar todos os riscos que o carro tinha). Já tinhamos alugado outros carros no mesmo local e davam uma volta ao carro geral e tudo ok. Desta vez assim que entregamos o carro, percebi pela atitude do empregado que íamos ser martelados. Foi mesmo caça desleal. Conseguem ver nas fotos? Nós não. Tinhamos nova reserva feita para mais 15 dias mas desistimos preferimos perder o sinal e fomos alugar noutro operador.

Avoid it or else you will get scammed: I rented a car on Car jet for 41 days, , and paid extra 400 euro to get full insurance without deductible, when i arrived to pick the car, the guy in Drive4 Move (their sister compamy) told me that the insurance i bought online is nonsens and they never support in case of any accident and convinced me to buy a new insurance from him for 374 euro , which i did because i know their intention already, that was the first scam. the daily rate became 40.6 euro per day. The day i was supposed to return the car, i had some emergency and couldnt leave, so called the office who told me i have to send a mail and they will give me details, i want to extend for 3 extra days, and i send them 3 mails asking the price, they would reply to the mail but not mentionning the extra cost of the 3 days, the surprise is when i returned the car, i was unlucky to be with one of the rudest persons you can meet, i will not mention her name but she was really the worst, and she charged me 261 euros for the 3 days instead of 120 max. She doesnt even explain why, all what she says it is what it is,,, avoid it guys and save your money
It was a good experience until the end. I was charged twise for the late return (2*40 euros) and for tolles (2*10 euros). For the tolles I was charged second time two months after Ive returned the car. Either the company is scamming people, or they have serious problem with accounting. Never give them a card you cant dispose of.

PICKPOCKET SURPRISE CARS RENTLS Simplesmente a pior companhia Rentcars de Lisboa, fiz a locação de um veículo com a porta toda avaria , sendo que fiz a retirada do veículo molhado e em local escuro, na devolução como mostra a foto me cobraram 500 euros por um risco de menos de um milímetro. Essa Companhia é UMA VERGONHA , o carro estava todo riscado e cheio de batidas, o atendente simplesmente foi direto nesse Ponto da Foto, parece que já está orquestrado para enganar o cliente o gerente que tem não serve para nada, liguei na Ouviroria só foi para passar mais raiva já que sempre dão a razão a companhia e nos clientes viramos o bandidos da história.
Pior experiência da vida! Eu e meu marido alugamos um carro da Drive4Move, no dia 28/06/23, e fomos surpreendidos pela Van que nos buscou no aeroporto, após 1h de espera, que se tratava da Surprice, uma empresa com inúmeras reclamações pelo péssimo serviço prestado. Quando chegamos na locadora, que fica um pouco distante do aeroporto, tentaram nos vender um seguro com o valor três vezes maior que o valor da locação. Mas, como temos seguro garantido pelo nosso cartão de crédito e somos um casal muito cuidadoso, assim como moramos em uma vila bem tranquila (Cascais), não achamos necessário adquirir o seguro absurdo oferecido. No momento da vistoria para receber o veículo, foi apresentado-nos um carro todo molhado, em uma garagem escura, sendo que o atendente demonstrava impaciência em nossa vistoria. Mostramos vários riscos e amalgamentos no veículo, sendo que algumas avarias ele disse que não importava e não precisava anotar, como a calota do pneu quebrada e outros mais. Pois bem, na data da devolução, dia 12/07/23, o carro foi devolvido na parte externa do pátio, a luz do sol, sendo que havíamos recebido o veículo molhado e na parte interna e escura do pátio, onde não se consegue ver os pequenos riscos, tampouco amalgamentos pequenos. Ocorre que no momento da devolução foi apontado pelo atendente um pequeno risco com um suposto amalgamento, menor que 3cm, que seria imperceptível ver com o carro molhado e no pátio escuro. Com isso foi cobrado em nosso cartão um valor de 506,80 euros, sendo que a locadora não nos deu nem a opção de questionar, tampouco outra alternativa conforme disposto na cláusula 4 do contrato onde diz que No caso de o veículo sofrer alguma avaria, as reparações só podem ser efectuadas mediante acordo prévio com a locadora. Assim, para que serve a cláusula contratual de possível acordo, se não nos foi dado nem o direito de acordar ou sugerir outra opção para consertar a avaria que certamente já existia e não teve como ser detectada no escuro (considerando que o veículo já estava todo riscado). Até mesmo porque, como residimos em Cascais, não seria problema algum consertamos esse risco, quase que imperceptível, em um bom especialista. Um serviço de no máximo 1 dia, que não passaria de 100 euros, incluindo o aluguel de mais uma diária do veículo. O pior de tudo é o constrangimento que nos fizeram passar, sem nem dar atenção aos nossos argumentos, como se não existíssemos. Nos sentimos muito constrangidos e completamente roubados! Ligamos para a polícia mas, fomos informados que deveriamos fazer a reclamação no Livro de Reclamações. Porém não nos disponibilizaram o Livro de Reclamações, mesmo após solicitado. Já em nossa casa tentamos fazer a reclamação pelo site e não encontravamos a empresa cadastrada no Livro de Reclamações. Somente depois fomos constatar que se tratava da International Car. Por fim, entendemos que a empresa não esta a trabalhar com a devida transparência e honestidade com os seus clientes, não restando outra opção a nós a não ser exercer os nossos direitos pelas vias administrativas e judiciais cabíveis, diante da falta de compromisso e transparência da empresa para com seus clientes e pelo constrangimento que sofremos.

We can not recommend this rental company. The employees at pick up and return were very unfriendly. We booked 2 Cars and only got 1, because it was not possible to change the driver on site. It was also not possible to cancel the one car on site. We had a call with Check24, and they made it possible to cancel it for 50,00 and they booked a new Car over Budget Rentalcar and the Service there was much better and all in all it was not that expensive. when we returned it, they wanted to charge us for a missing parcel shelf, which was never in the car from the start. After more than 45 minutes we were able to prove that the parcel shelf had never been in the car. they also charged us 30 euros for not booking the toll transponders. All in all this is not a serious company and wants to rip off its customers!

Jai loué une véhicule par lintermédiaire de la compagnie aérienne easyJet, un bon conseil prenez vos jambe à votre coup et sauvez vous en courant, jai dus prendre une assurance supplémentaire pour retirer le véhicule juste pour la raison que je ne possédait pas de carte de crédit mais juste une carte débit, par contre aucun problèmes avec ma carte de débit une fois allégée 297 alors que jai pris une assurance multirisque lors de la réservation de la voiture sur le site EasyJet, ensuite au retour jai eu droit à un taxe supplémentaire pour le badge autoroute 39,45 , le tout avec les document affiché sur le mur de lagence surligné pour bien faire comprendre que cest mentionné dans le contrat de location noyé dans les conditions générale que nous ne prenons pas la penne de lire à la récupération du véhicule bref !! un bon conseil ny allez pas FUYER !!!!! il vaut mieux prendre une agence de location ayant un pied à terre sur laéroport plutôt quuns agence de location qui vous attend sur lextérieur de laéroport avec une personne qui agite une pancarte au nom de lagence ils vous annonce des prix en dessous du tarif et au final cela revient plus chère quun loueur situé directement à laéroport. Très mauvaise expérience, plus jamais je ne ferai la même erreur !!

The company runs a scam with rude employees. I didnt take their inssurance since I have one with my credit card. Upon pick up, there was a few scratches on the car, I took pictures and showed it to the employee, said it was all noted. When I returned the car, the employe that was there wanted to see if I took pictures, then found more scratches, (they were supposed to have been noted) but I was billed 390euros. Lies, didnt want to call the employee at pick up, was rude and telling me to respect him while he was lying to my face. I had no choice but to pay. Will never rent from a small company ever again. And I will film take a video of the car upon pick up. And film EVERYTHING even the wheels, the top, dont forget 1cm because they will charge it to you. I was never scammed like this before.
Wir können diesen Vermieter nicht empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter bei Abholung und Rückgabe waren sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben 2 Autos gebucht und nur 1 bekommen, da ein Fahrerwechsel vor Ort nicht möglich war. Es war auch nicht möglich, das eine Auto vor Ort zu stornieren. Wir hatten einen Anruf bei Check24, und sie ermöglichten eine Stornierung für 50,00 und sie buchten über Budget Rentalcar ein neues Auto und der Service dort war viel besser und alles in allem war es nicht so teuer. Als wir es zurückbrachten, wollten sie uns eine fehlende Hutablage in Rechnung stellen, die von Anfang an nie im Auto war. Nach über 45 Minuten konnten wir nachweisen, dass die Hutablage noch nie im Auto gewesen war. Sie haben uns außerdem 30 Euro in Rechnung gestellt, weil wir die Mauttransponder nicht gebucht hatten. Alles in allem ist das kein seriöses Unternehmen und möchte seine Kunden abzocken!

Não foi a melhor experiência. Esperámos DUAS HORAS E MEIA para sermos atendidos, pois tinham apenas 2 funcionários para uma fila de cerca de 20 clientes, o que é pouco num check in de automóveis. O atendimento foi bom,cordial e recebemos bons conselhos, mas o serviço ficou marcado pela demora excessiva. O carro estava operacional. Na entrega do carro foi explicado que, como existiu uma demora de 2 horas e cinquenta minutos entre o horário contratado e o efetivado (podemos verificar a hora no documento de recabimento, numa lateral) podiamos ter entregue o carro mais tarde este tempo. Deixo esta dica a futuros clientes.

This is truly the biggest scam of a rental car company I have ever dealt with and I have rented cars across the entire world, including throughout Asia. Voleur, malhonnête. J ai loué une voiture pour 15 jours. A mon arrivé alors que j ai un telepeage Français portugais pour ma voiture personnel, ils ont refusé que je l utilise. Mais le meilleur reste à venir je récupère une 2008 Neuve 7000kms. Deux jours plutard le dimanche alors que je me rend à Nazare une crevaison roue arrière. Je me sert du kit de réparation et toujours à plat. Je contact le loueur qui m envoi l assistance et aussi un taxi pour nous ramener à Lisbonne chez eux. Crevaison à 11h dans une rue sous le soleil avec une personne de 70ans. Bref nous arrivons à Lisbonne 17h et la surprise le loueur me dit que le pneu n est pas réparable avis du dépanneur car l voiture est resté à nazare et me présente une facture de 494,50 euros pour 1 pneu 1 kit de réparation et des frais. Obliger de régler pour récupérer une autre voiture. Bien sûr javais pris une assurance prenium mais elle ne couvre cette réparation à hauteur de 150. De retour en France je suis entrain de me battre pour récupérer mon du et signaler autant qu à edreams et les réseaux pour éviter ce loueur mafieux

À fuir, nous avons loué un véhicule par le biais d easyJet, arrivée sur place, il fallait payer des sommes en plus, et ils n ont rien voulu savoir qd au choix du conducteur, (pour eux, cest celui qui paye, qui conduit), bref, la personne en face, désagréable au possible, du coup jai tout laissé en plan, et suis retournée loué un autre véhicule à l aéroport de Lisbonne. Además me hicieron adquirir un seguro todo riesgo, que supuestamente si adquiría en el balcón podía tener derecho de devolución y devolví el vehículo 24 días antes y me dicen que no devuelven el dinero del seguro que ya no voy a utilizar. Sinceramente mucha falta de claridad y precios desorbitados. Sin contar que no te advierten que debes entregar el carro súper limpio y aspirado porque sino te cobran además una limpieza profunda costosa. Mala experiencia
Just left my rental car back at SurPrice car rental(International car). This is by far the worst rental car company I ve experienced. Their name really tells a lot. I wish I had a look at the reviews before I rented the car. I experienced kind of the same story as many of the other reviewers. There were also at the same time as I was there other people who had similar troubles. Basically the company scam the clients by finding things on the car that you hardly can see and tells you to pay a made up sum. I got the car by night time and my friend tried to take pictures when we got the car but it was impossible in that light. Now it s obviously hard to prove that it was there already when we got the car. The staff guy, Diogo, didn t even marked the spots on the car when we picked it up. My friend had to tell him and basically needed to point at every single spot. We realized afterwards that Diogo had not marked all the spots at all. And of course by then it was easy business to force us to pay as the company were holding money from my card. Lesson learned, next time I m renting a car at a legit car rental company. Be aware! Adding an image of the spot they claimed were our fault, charging more than 300 euro for it.
Representative is usually found by Vodafone kiosk in Lisbon airports arrivals area. If you are unable to see the rep ask one of the other reps, they will point you to your rep. You will then be transported to the car collection site (about 5 minutes away). Take a ticket from the machine and wait until your ticket number comes up on the screen. If you will be using the motorway, it maybe useful to pay 1 a day, which allows you to not have to stop at the toll-gates plus to avoid fines, the company will bill you for toll fees later. The hired car is returned to the collection point, so factor the time in. For outside normal hours collection/return, check the information before booking a car, the fees vary between companies. Finally the staff are friendly, polite and professional. Even though you may be tired, treat them with the respect one human-being should extend to another.
They made up damages to the amount of 412 euros upon returning the car. The car was not damaged. A scam! Plus, they charged 2500 EUR to my credit card as a deposit because I refused their insurance packages as my credit card covers me. It was just refunded to my card (a month later) but $50 is missing. Im going to have to fight with them about that as well. Youre better paying a bit more somewhere else. Stay away at all cost!!

Super competitive daily rate of $9 CAD. The staff were thorough in explaining how the rental structure worked. We also felt the pre-rental body damage inspection was thorough and fair, contrary to the negative review we saw online. Drop off went smoothly. We will use this company again!

I had everything pre reserved, and it took a lot of time to get a car and I had to give them all the documentation and info again, they were talking a lot between them not having a care for the time. The car i got had a lot of scratches. The worst thing was on car return, nobody was even there, the same worker was also driving people to the airport and collecting cars. I spent more than 1h!! To be transported to Airport. Awful!

Mi hanno tolto dei soldi dalla carta di credito riferiti ai pedaggi autostradali, al momento del ritiro della macchina presso il loro ufficio non hanno assolutamente accennato a tutto ciò. Anzi hanno voluto 17 euro dicendo che sarei stata coperta per ogni tratto autostradale. Attenzione: nei siti di prenotazione li trovate come CARJET Sconsigliatissimo. Dopo il mio commento negativo sono magicamente apparse moltissime valutazioni a 5 stelle. Sicuramente è tutto falsato.

The staff was friendly and the car clean, new and in good conditions. Everything was straightforward. The location is a stones throw from the airport. Something important to take into account: the office closes at 20h and although they accept pickups at that hour, if you pick up past that time there will be a 40 euro fee for out of hours pickup.
I had a very bad experience when giving back the car. Be careful and take fotos of everything in the beginning.

Really poor car hire company. We were warned by another customer that he was overcharged. We also had a bad experience. They don t take AMEX, must have physical credit card with PIN. They try to overcharge at every opportunity.
Pior locadora de Lisboa. Me Cobraram um Cuidado ao reservar carros, a International car representa mais de uma marca. Sendo assim tive duas más experiências, cada uma com uma das marcas que eles representam. Na primeira vez umValor absurdo por risco mínimo na jante, que mal se vê nas fotos, que já estava no veículo. Como outros relatos aqui, o carro nos é entregue no galpão escuro e todo molhado e não dá pra perceber tudo. E na hora da devolução, é feito ao sol, na luz da rua. Na segunda ocasião eu acreditava ter reservado o carro em outra locadora e quando cheguei ao local era a international car. A funcionária quis me cobrar 1500 euros como uma tx de garantia, pois eu usaria o carro por mais de 30 dias. Essa taxa seria devolvida três meses depois da devolução do veículo caso tudo estivesse certo com O automóvel. Expliquei que no meu voucher não havia nada a respeito dessa cobrança, então ela ofereceu uma opção de pagar cerca de 300 euros para não haver essa cobrança. Me mostrou um voucher diferente do que eu tinha, alegando que tinha essa cláusula. Enfim. Não é uma empresa séria e não recomendo de forma alguma. Me senti roubada as duas vezes. Tem muitas opções em Lisboa. Não caia nessa de jeito nenhum. E fique atendo as marcas que eles representam

A Fuir absolument , Vraiment ne jamais louer avec cette compagnie . j ai eu un problème car j avais prié une assurance , il M ont chargé un leur assurance et très compliqué à comprendre la facture et je la comprend toujours pas . et après les 2 travailleurs ont rien voulue savoir pour essayer de m accommoder . C était incroyable La façon comment il nous parlait moi et ma fille J ai jamais vue ça . Il disait que c était ma faute pourtant j avais prié une assurance avec discovers Il disait qu il pouvait rien faire . Ont a due attendre 30 minutes car la personne qui s occupait du retour était partie à l aéroport pour un client Pourtant il y avait deux employé qui était là et il y avait aucun client Ce n est aucunement une compagnie de confiance de location J ai déjà louer en France et eu aucun problème Je vous conseil de fuir cette agence J attend que international car m écrie Pour m expliquer la facture car je la comprend pas C est la première fois que j écrie un avis sur Google je suis une personne accommodante et honnête Merci Sylvain du Canada

Allaeroporto non cera nessuno come concordato. Dopo varie peripezie è arrivata una navetta dopo circa 40 minuti, altri 10 minuti per arrivare agli uffici. Una volta in ufficio ci abbiamo messo circa unora e mezza per prendere lauto che era...a lavare!!!! Morale: arrivati alle tre in aereoporto abbiamo ritirato lauto alle 6 e 10. State lontani da questo noleggio. Avviseremo anche Quality Group che si appoggia a loro. Incommentabile.

Worse service EVER!!! Not only did we wait for over an hour to be collected at the airport (after a fixed time was arranged!), we also got charged an extra 240 plus tax for a slight blemish on the car which apparently wasnt there when we picked up the car. When we said the blemish was there when we collected the car (which it really was), we were asked for photos to prove it!!!

I have been traveling for almost fifty years and renting cars throughout the world and yet I have never encountered a more predatory rental car company than International Car. Be very wary of their guidelines to assess damages when you return the vehicle. A few small scratches will cost you hundreds of euros plus an administrative fee of 64 euros plus the 23% VAT. Vi raccomando di non scegliere questo noleggio. Fin dallinizio non cè nulla di chiaro. Dopo due mesi hanno tentato di togliermi dei soldi per i pedaggi senza avvisare e per di più di una cifra più alta di quella dovuta. Gli altri problemi potete leggerli nelle recensioni di altri clienti...fotocopia
Excelente atención desde el momento en que llegamos al aeropuerto. Ya estaban esperando por nosotros. Dentro del car rental todos fueron muy amables. Seguiremos reservando con ustedes.
Très déçue...en plus d être en dehors des aéroports lors de la remise du véhicule le réservoir d essence était vide ..soit disantqu ils ne veulentpas perdre de l argent beh sachez que nous non plus .depuis les années que je loue des voitures chez la concurrence ça ne m était jamais arrivé et au final le prix revient au même donc je ne répéterai pas l expérience
