The worst experience ever!! First of all, they informed us at last minutes that the location to pick the car up was different than the address of the rental agency. Once we arrived there, we had to pay only in cash and they gave us a car without a radio and a charger. We waited 1 hour to get another car that it wasn’t clean, without fuel and It showed some engine indicators. At the end of the day we returned the car with more fuel than we got and we asked for a refund and they didn’t answer! Zero professional!!
Great service, the best rental place in Portugal. Izaura helped me when I had accidentally filled up with diesel instead of gasoline. She took care of everything for me and I was back on the road within the hour because of her quick response and network of people she knows. I highly recommend madlobos and Izaura her service.
I had a fantastic experience renting with Madlobos. We hired our car in Porto and they were really helpful - evening picking us up from where we were staying as we were having trouble getting to the agency. Car was great and so was the service. Thank you!
Great cars and service! I have been a customer for a long time and I never had issues. It’s one of the few (if not the only) rental that does not require a credit card. Also good communication and easy pick up and drop-off. Recommended!
Excellent service! I called their number, they made a booking very fast and easy. You can just reserve, pay and drive. Very simple and stress-free, there are no stupid complications like having to give your credit card with name engraved on it. Very very good price, specially when compared to other car rental companies. It included extra driver, insurance against scratches, etc, which really makes you feel comfortable with renting the car. The customer support was very good and the people who I talked with during the rental process were helpful, straightforward, polite and gave all necessary information. Other car rental companies took a month to reply to me and Madlobos answered in less than a day. They were also very flexible with returning the car back to them. At the end of the day and of my trip, I was very happy with the whole experience. Highly recommended for Erasmus students as well because they have a special partnership discount! Will definitely come back and rent from them again for my next trips.
The best customer service ever! We mixed unleaded fuel and diesel and the car stopped running in the highway, and the car agency immediately helped. The agency organised the towing of the car, the taxi from the highway and gave us a new car, everything for a bargain price. Diogo at the shop was super friendly and helpful!
We took a car for 2 days, no deposit or debit card needed. Perfect experience and great choice for Erasmus students (discount). Very kind and communicative staff.
Excellent service, personal and human approach. Hassle-free and overall a great experience. I've hired from this company three times, twice in Lisbon branch and once in Porto and recommend them highly. Far better than anything you will get at the other companies!

A FUIR ! Nous sommes passés par cette agence de location il y a un an maintenant. De toute notre vie nous n avions jamais était témoin dun service aussi catastrophique. L employé Diogo est arrivé avec une trentaine de minutes de retard mais surtout il était très agressif et il sest mis à nous insulter pendant au moins 20 minutes moi et ma copine, sans aucune raison car nous étions très calmes. Nous navons rien dit sur le moment car nous avions besoin de la voiture mais je ne me suis jamais senti aussi humilié. Je suis Franco portugais et ce jour-là jai vraiment eu honte de mon pays de c ur. Je nai pas voulu mettre de mauvais avis sur le moment et jai préféré envoyer un message au manager de lagence de Porto (Paulo), il nous a promis un bon dachat que nous avons voulu utiliser cette année, malheureusement ce nétait pas possible et l entreprise nous a alors proposé un remboursement que nous attendons encore. Cela fait 2 mois que j attends votre remboursement et personne ne me répond. Ce nest vraiment pas professionnel de votre part je ne recommanda absolument pas votre entreprise !
Easy to rent (they dont need deposits or anything). But they are never on time, its hard to plan a trip when you get the car 2 hours after the reservation.

Si je pouvais mettre 0 étoiles je le ferais!!! Réservation faite une semaine avant notre arrivée, avec mail de confirmation. Jusque ici tout OK. le jour J: en arrivant devant loffice, porte fermée:PERSONNE ! on appelle plusieurs fois, personne ne nous répond. On essaie avec plusieurs téléphones et au bout de 30 min quelquun nous répond. La personne nous dit que quelquun va arriver 1h plus tard (à 12h00) 1h plus tard on revient: toujours personne. On rappelle, on nous envoie un mec qui soit disant est en vacances et qui ne connait rien à notre dossier. Là il nous annonce quaucune voiture nest disponible !on nous dit que notre voiture est à Faro et quelle serait dispo le soir à 20h. Clairement hors de question quon attende autant de temps. On a déjà perdu assez de temps comme ça, pour RIEN! on nous propose toutefois une voiture pourrie, fenêtre cassée, sale. Ils nous disent quils seraient prêts à venir jusquà notre destination (à plus de 2h de Lisbonne) nous faire léchange de la voiture. Sérieusement, qui y croit? Juste hallucinant. bref on est partis chercher une autre location en ville. A ÉVITER !!!

Unico rent a car que no te pide deposito ni franquicia, llame 1 dia antes para solicitar 3 dias mas de alquiler y me solucionaron todas mis dudas. Muy buenos profesionales

Have to organice better to meet promissed hours and drop off. Might be too expensive, but I didnt have much time to look for options. Car itself was excellent.

Perfect teamwork, our rental car was rear ended (not our fault) and in less than 30 minutes a Madlobos representative attended at the accident location to take care of the issues and give us another car. Could not have asked for better service and attention to detail

Tenía hecha la reserva 30 días antes para un clio o similar, pues el día del viaje me querían dar un Fiat panda para 4 personas y 1400 km. La solución, que me esperara al día siguiente Son informales al 100 x100, además de tener muy poco vergüenza, me dejan tirado en fin de año. No lo recomiendo, no son de fiar. Recomiendo este RENT a CAR especialmente por el servicio hacia el cliente. Llegamos a Lisboa la semana pasada para pasar las Navidades y no encontrábamos vehículo para alquilar. A través de un familiar contáctamos con ellos y solucionamos el tema. Alquilamos un Renault Captur con apenas 6 meses y no nos hizo falta ni fianza ni tarjeta de crédito. Todo perfecto,muy profesional y sobretodo,amables. Nos indicaron lo que se tiene que visitar en Lisboa, restaurantes de comida típica lusitana,monumentos....y más viniendo de Andorra y por primera vez en Lisboa,desconociendo todo,hasta el idioma. Y atendidos para sorpresa nuestra,en castellano. Un 10 sobre 10!!!!! I recommend this RENT to CAR especially for the service to the customer. We arrived in Lisbon last week to spend Christmas and we could not find a vehicle to rent. Through a family member, we contact them and solve the issue. We rented a Renault Captur with just 6 months and we did not need a deposit or a credit card. Everything perfect, very professional and above all, kind. They told us what to visit in Lisbon, restaurants with typical Lusitanian food, monuments ... and more coming from Andorra and for the first time in Lisbon, not knowing everything, even the language. And attended to our surprise, in Spanish. A 10 out of 10 !!!!!
