Picking up the car was VERY long, so many people waiting, we must have waited close to 2 hours. It was a Saturday, the employee that served us said it was an exceptional busy day. We booked with a third party and I accidentally reserved a manual car, the gentleman who served us, kindly upgraded our car to an automatic SUV and charged us the difference. Return went well, no issues, return was very quick and was refunded my deposit. I would suggest renting to tollbooth accessory and pay at the end.
Perfect ending for a fantastic holiday. I don’t know why they have so many bad reviews - we had an excellent experience. Was one of the few companies that does affordable one way rentals - we took our car in porto and returned it in Lisbon. The car rental itself was super affordable (less than 200) and so when we decided to take full insurance (0 liability) for an additional 600 - we found it worth it. Hassle free rental for two weeks - very nice staff and very responsive email customer service. We give them a high rating and will be renting from them again in our next trip to Portugal!
As opposed to many reviews, everything went super well in my case. I picked up the car, they were friendly, they took care of my request to not change the car (or rather to not upgrade my car because I needed the model I booked) and were fairly practical. Upon dropping the car back off, I was super concerned as I read all the reviews. I took I detailed video when renting the car and the same detailed video when dropping it back off to ensure I’ll not be charged after. When dropping off I communicated my concerns and informed the very kind employee that I have concerns and that I would like to go through everything now, also to be ensured to have my blocked amount of 2460€ cancelled. Everything went super well, the employee was very accommodating and I am leaving with a super easy/simple and cheap 4 day car rental experience. Take safety measurements for yourself, communicate your needs and hopefully you will have just as much of a fine experience as I had. 5/5
Terrible experience like what all the reviews say stay away from RENTING HERE !!!! Crooks behind the counter ordered a vehicle with large trunk to haul all of our luggage given a small compact nothing like what we paid . Total extra $ they took from me over $600 after paying until $600 for one week rental !! I rented Range Rover with 6 bag room they said that there there small bags and didn’t rent the proper vehicle lol what a joke of a company !
The service provided from start to end was awesome. Martin on the return desk was also very helpful explaining the extra charges of tolls and how to pay them online. Will defiantly opt for the service.next time.
I rented a Dacia Jogger on August 8-15, 2024 at Surprice, near Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon). Downsides: 1. Very low engagements levels from personnel at the desk when I picked up the car. Long waiting times. 2. You need a shuttle to get to Surprice. 3. When I arrived 30 min later at my destination, I could not find the car key. Had to take an Uber for my next appointment.. Two other people independently searched the whole car without finding it. It took hours for customer service to respond. They could also not indicate where we could find it. It turned out in the end it was a flat device hidden behind a car sun visor. 4. The car was not filled up (photo). When I mentioned it, they said that was ‘company policy’, although it was not documented in any paperwork or email I received that the tank was not full. 5. I also noticed several scratches and dents, although the signed agreement suggested the car was in perfect shape (photo’s). I sent the picture of the dent on August 8 to Customer Service, but did not get any response. 6. When I returned the car, the personnel suggested I had caused some of the scratches, which was absolutely not the case. I omitted to photograph all scratches, which was now used against me by a rather rude employee (lesson learned, trust broken: I will now always meticulously take pictures of every abnormality). We had however found an insurance form in the glove box that described the previous damage, although Surprice had indicated on the form that the car did not have any dents or scratches. 7. When I asked for the supervisor, he appeared to be the only person at Surprice, who was customer-focused and reasonable. In the end they agreed that I was not responsible for the damage and there was a sort of apology from the supervisor. Upsides: I have not identified any upsides of Surpice. ‘Surpricingly’ bad service. One hour later I rented a smaller car at Budget at Lisbon Airport: no shuttle needed, very friendly personnel, fast, efficient, all scratches well documented, full tank. 10 min later on the road.
ABSOLUTE SCAM - USE AT OWN RISK Horrible experience from start to finish. I picked up my vehicle in Faro and it was in terrible condition. It was terribly scratched and dented, it had clearly been in an accident. The official information sheet had marked several of the scratches and dents on one side, but did not mark all of them. When we did the inspection the employee marked many new dents and scratches that were not on the original paperwork. We took photos of the major damage and signed the updated paperwork and left. We returned the vehicle to this location and the employee found a scratch on the only part of the vehicle that we didn't photograph and decided to charge us for the damages. It was a scratch on the rear rim which was clearly consistent with the damage on that side of the vehicle from its previous accident. The attendant sent a text to the Faro location asking for the updated damage information, because apparently we were only the out of date damage report. They didn't respond so he proceeded to charge me for the damage, when I asked him what else he can do he just kept dismissively saying "what do you want me to do about it". He acted like it was entirely unreasonable for me to request he call them instead of text. Once he finally called them the team in Faro refused to look up the documents and they told me to just go through insurance. The whole ordeal was the least professional experience of my life. I have rented dozens of vehicles in my life and I've never interacted with a more terrible company. I will be telling my booking company I suspect them of committing insurance fraud. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
Worst rental experience ever. They charged 190 euros for a 1 cm superficial scratch located below the bumper, which included a 74 euros administration fee. They also haven’t refunded me in full for the security deposit although I’ve already paid the damage, the highway tolls and everything. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING THEY DO! I don’t have a clue what happened for the scratch: Is it possible that it was there in the first place? I’ve been renting cars for more than 20 years in various countries and I’ve never seen such strict policy. When I told them that it was Surprice’s (also called international car) business model to make money out of this they said, to my surprise, that indeed it was. Also note that although the contract might be written in English, the report for the scratch could only be written in Portuguese. Also note that while we were waiting for the report, there were other clients with the similar problems. Be very careful if you indeed decide to do business with them, they are deceiving.

Super smooth checkin and checkout process. Eduarda has made the inspection really easy and all went really fast. Pickup from airport has been timely as well. We rented a van and had no trouble with it during our 2 weeks stay in Portugal. Will come back and rest from Surprice next time we re over.

Um agradecimento a Eduarda Furtado pelo atendimento no retorno, rápida e muito atenciosa em entregar os recibos de comprovação de pedágios utilizados e documentos finais do contrato . Quantos aos 10 % , a Booking e a Surprice precisam comunicar corretamente onde é para retirar o carro no aeroporto , a Booking solicita para esperar um funcionário da Suprice na frente da Loja Vodafone no Desembarque , mas tem um loja parte interna do Desembarque e outra na parte externa do Desembarque , e a Surprice , confirmou na loja que eu deveria sair direto ao local de saída da van na parte externa do Aeroporto para pegar a van . Recomendo , identificar melhor a van a ser usada, pois ficarei esperando a van da Surprice , mas a van tem uma identificação da International Cars e Surprice . Concluindo , perdi muito tempo para sair e chegar na loja da Surprice , devido ao erro de informações ,Mas, excluindo problema do início , a Surprice me entegou um carro muito confiável e que usei sem nenhum problema técnico do começo ao fim da locação ! Excelente experiência durante a viagem em Portugal !

Rented a third time. Always running well. Despite negative comments the whole process was not too bad except the waiting time of 1.5h at rental. The car could have been maintained better with full tank except to 3/8, but as I didn t plan to travel much it was ok. Also water was missing for the wind shield cleaners, which was unfortunate.

They will do whatever to charge x3 of what you paid with your online booking and clean their hands to gove you a refund. Read carefully the terms and conditions. They do not accept amex credit cards and mastercard credict cards without a number there, that s their perfect excuse to charge you x3 with an extra insurance. They won t accept an insurance booked online with rentalcars, etc. And you just know that AFTER you pay for your online booking. Scam

Ich habe ein Auto, Fiat 500 Hybrid, bei SURPRICE Rent a Car in Lisbon am Flughafen für zwei Monate (Mitte September 2024 bis Mitte November 2024) gebucht. Der Shuttle Bus brachte mich zum Verleih außerhalb, die Übernahme verlief einfach und die Lackfehler waren alle dokumentiert. Die Rückgabe war einfach und professionell. Die Rückerstattung der Kaution wurde zeitnah durchgeführt. Gerne wieder
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID RENTING CAR FROM THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY IN LISBOA. YES, THE CAR RENTAL PRICING ON holiday autos IS VERY REASONABLE but when you reach there to collect the car, a bunch of werewolves are waiting for you. We provided everything that they required from their email to collect the car. When they cross check the credit card and the name in passport is different immediately they start to extort you, giving reason that their company policy says your credit card has to have the same name of your booking. They are so ridiculous, in the first place why did you allowed my credit to book the car then. We were being cornered to pay a protection fee of 400euro if not you cancel and rebooked or totally cancelled the car rental order. So guys BECAREFUL THIS COMPANY IS INDEED A SCAMMER COMPANY. I BOOKED THE CAR FROM 19-2 DEC 2024.BOOKED A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The person was nice but the company made us clean the inside of the car. If we didn t want to clean the inside of the car we had to pay over 100 + tax. That s not something that any other rental car company we have used ever demanded. Nor is it something we were informed about when we decided to use this company and when we took the car to go to the countryside. We should have been informed because this is an unusual policy and we could ve taken a different company or at least made sure that the car returns very clean. In our case, we had time to clean it but people who are in a hurry to get the airport are probably stuck having to pay a lot of money, so that is cheating.
DO NOT use this car rental company. let me explain why: 1) Significant delays picking up cars - the rental location is 10 min from the airport - they say they have a bus but this is infrequent and it not clear where/ how often it runs. 2) when we arrived at the location 2+ hours for the cars to be cleaned and even then the cars requested were not available meaning we had problems fitting luggage into the cars 3) Cars are cheap makes e.g. DACIA one had the tyre lights on ( with marginal tyre tread) and some had collision danage 4) when delivering the cars back, the company have a station where they clean them ( this is why it took us 2+hrs to pick up the cars in the first place). However there was a small amout of sand in the footwell and we were told by Marco that it is company policy that we be charged 100+ per car to hoover the car, we were made to drive to a nearby petrol station use the vacuum cleaner there ( whilst trying to catch a flight) and then drive back to the parking lot. In summary if you want to spend a large part of your trip either waiting for hire cars to be ready, or haggling over whether you can you the company hoover rhen this is the perfect car hire company for you. If however, you value your own time and money - DO NOT USE this company
Very bad rental company. We had a reservation from Booking.com and they did not give us the reserved car and demanded an additional payment of 190 euros. We had to pay this, otherwise we were without a car with our children!! Now they claim that the insurance was valid even though we had a complete insurance from Booking. com. We file a complaint with Booking.com never again with this car rental company.
Boîte de location de voitures au top!!! Le conseiller est très professionnel les tarifs sont correct et plusieurs offres vous sont proposés. Le seul petit bémol est que les locaux ne sont pas à laéroport mais une navette vous transportera sur place. Cest à 2,5 kms . Lagence de voyage aurait dû nous informer afin de les trouver rapidement.

Legal theft - called SURPrice for a reason Ive rented from almost every major car rental agency in Lisbon. This is the first one that charges a daily rate to rent the toll tag. Everyone other agency has it included and charges a small fee on initial activation. Not these guys. They charge you an astronomical and arbitrary admin fee if you activate the toll tag without paying for the daily fee. Portugal has a bunch electronic tolls that are hidden and falsely indicated. Most of then you dont have a choice to use if you are already using the standard tolls (with your credit card). They use this terrible system against their customers to levy these unnecessary fees. I took a 0.60 cent toll in Leiria that was I forced to use to get onto a regular toll route. Their fraudulent admin fee for that 0.60 cent toll was 37 euros. There response: too bad. Its in your contract. Further, the return agent spent a solid 5 mins meticulously looking for dents and scratches he could charge me for. Other agencies barely look at your vehicle. Do not use this company. They will find a way to charge you. Use any other company. Serious ethical issues.

2ème fois ce début novembre que nous réservons un véhicule à l agence de Lisbonne (1ere en avril). Très satisfait de nos expériences. Navette présente à l aéroport (bien stipuler votre numéro de vol à la réservation). Équipe sympathique, véhicule propre et récent. Un contrôle a été fait entre les 2 parties dont plusieurs photos faites par le gestionnaire pour prendre en compte les impacts sur la carrosserie. Il faut bien avoir une carte de crédit et que la réservation soit bien au mm nom que cette carte. Le retour du véhicule est soumis également à un contrôle et votre caution débloquée.
À FUIR !!! ARNAQUE !!! Vol qui arrivait dans la soirée, personnel prévenu et avait notre numéro de vol, ABSENCE de navette. Nous avons dû descendre à pied avec nos bagages jusqu à l agence (en espérant qu elle soit ouverte, car injoignable et plate-forme téléphonique). Le personnel de l accueil nous réponds qu ils savent pertinemment que des gens les attendent là bas, mais n envoie pas de navettes car n ont pas leur numéro avec le bon indicatif. En plus de tout cela, nous étions très bien renseigné sur les problématiques de carte de DÉBIT non acceptées dans ce genre d établissement. Nous avons donc pris toutes les précautions en prenant une carte de CRÉDIT, et malgré cela elle nous dit que notre carte ne passe pas et qu il faut obligatoirement prendre l assurance sinon pas de voiture (facile pour eux, il est 23h30). Nous lui certifions que notre carte doit fonctionner (carte de CRÉDIT et plafond de carte bien supérieur à la somme demandée) Nous sommes donc obligé de payer (sinon obligé de trouver un hôtel à 23h30 et une nouvelle agence le lendemain qui nous aurait fait perdre énormément de temps). Malgré d autant plus que l un de nous soit portugais et parlant la langue couramment, donc aucun soucis de compréhension des deux côtés. 1 mois plus tard, notre banquière nous certifie avoir été victime d une arnaque. Cet établissement DOIT FERMÉ, et nous n en resterons pas là.
On our way to the airport from Cascais there were couple of accidents. A 45 minute drive ended up being close to 1.5 hrs. Dropped my family at the departure terminal but forgot to give them their passports to check in. On my way back to return the car got a text from my son that they cannot check in. I started panicking. I then arrived at the car rental place. They very promptly checked the car in and finished payment by the counter lady Eduarda. I then explained the situation to her and she said next shuttle would leave in 15 minutes. I told her that I dont have 15 minutes and will be stranded with the whole family for sure. She jumped out of her seat and said lets go. She jumped in the same rental car and drove me pronto with amazing zig-zag, bobbing and weaving skills back to departure terminal. Eduarda is an absolute gem, I hope to meet her again. For people who are familiar, we pulled a Home Alone scene at O-Hare getting to our departure gate!! lol

We rented a car from here for two weeks. The checkin process was quite slow and took about 1 hour but the car was new and ran perfectly. When we checked it in, the attendant noted damage on the rim and charged us 383 euro. We dont recall hitting anything but could not be sure. Martin was extremely helpful to us because we did not have rental insurance. We had to use the insurance from our credit card which was challenging. Martin was friendly and patient.

Total scam artists. Laughing at other customers for being able to charge them for non-existent damage. Clearly rolling in fraudulently earned money. Avoid at all costs Editing to respond to comment: they have a veneer of professionalism in these replies by claiming to care about their reputation and responding to customer concerns. Make no mistake, there is no opportunity for resolution with this company. They will take your money no matter what and will laugh you out the door at the same time. Once again, avoid at all costs.

SCAM ALERT Rented vehicle (Range Rover ) with the largest trunk they gave me small compact car asked for triple the $$ to upgrade to fit our luggage . Upgrade to the Volvo as shown very nice car but cost over $1400 for one week from the original $500

Très mauvaise expérience. Lors de la restitution, ils facturent des dommages déjà existants, ils montrent des photos sûrement d un autre véhicule endommagé car l immatriculation du véhicule loué ne figure à aucun endroit sur les photos. Ils nous ont facturé 630 + en plus de la location. Je déconseille fortement agence à éviter, Grosse arnaque
À éviter !! Du vol complet 1 minute pour faire le tour du véhicule avant de donner les clefs et 45 minutes pour vérifier la voiture au retour en me contant 630 pour une jante que je n ai pas abîmé !!! Des voleurs à fuir une honte
Lange Wartezeiten, ineffiziente, langwierige Abfertigung. Haben den Mietwagen für 12 Uhr reserviert, waren um 11:30 angekommen und konnten erst um 13:30 Uhr wegfahren. Die Rückgabe verlief problemlos und relativ schnell.
The vehicle itself was in excellent condition and the staff were friendly and helpful. On the other hand, the wait time was disappointing. For pick-up, we had to wait nearly 90 minutes
SCANDALEUX ! A FUIR Hier vers 19h je viens pour récupérer la voiture que j avais réservée 3 semaines a l avance. Cependant, ils ont refusé de me donner la voiture car ma carte bleue (pour la caution) n est pas Portugaise .. je cherche une solution je leur demande si un virement ou un cheque ca serait ok??? Ils me répondent que la seule solution c est : 400 en espèces . J ai bien évidemment dit non ! ils n ont pas hésité a me mettre a la porte a 20h avec un bébé de 10 mois dans les bras alors que j avais 1h30 de route ensuite pour rejoindre mon logement. Je suis vraiment outrée de ce genre de comportement et de pratiques ! CORDIALEMENT, Mme OLIVIER et Mr DRUEZ
Le lieu de restitution est à lAgence et non à laéroport comme indiqué sur le voucher! et bien-sûr injoignable lorsquon appelle! et si vous apportez la voiture à laéroport vous avez des pénalités! On a failli louper lavion nous sommes arrivés lembarquement était clos! Une honte
Horrible experience, more like a scam that somehow is legal in this country to run. First they sell you a tag that you dont really need, they gave us a car with an old battery that went flat after 2 days. No service, waited over 2 hours over the phone to find a solution. We had to then have the car towed and drove 2 hours to the nearest centre for a new car. Watsrw a full day out of a 4 days holidays Avoid avoid avoid

Kein Büro im Flughafen, daher muss man ein bisschen suchen, bis man den Meeting point findet. Langwierige Anmietprozedur. Debit Karten wurde für die Kaution nicht akzeptiert, daher mussten wir eine teure Zusatzversicherung abschließen. Rückgabe in Faro ging dann schnell und problemlos.
Picked up by van at airport. Van was poorly indicated/signed. 10 min. ride to the offsight office. Very slow at registration desk. Processes / staff seem to be at issue. Staff need to up their game in dealing with English speaking clients.

Je suis obligé de changer ma carte bancaire pour éviter tout prélèvement abusif de leur part. Leur téléphone à Lisbonne ne réponds plus. Cela ressemble à de larnaque organisée. Bref je ne recommande absolument pas !!!!!! Et les avis sont sur cette société négatifs partout sur tous les autres sites.

ARRIVÉE, IL FALLAIT PASSER LASPIIRATEUR. Croyez que le réceptionniste a appelé le nettoyeur pour confirmer si la voiture était sale ou nonnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!uauuuuu. On a passer 14 jours, normal que la voiture soit utilisée. On a voyager partout JAMAIS VU CHOSE PAREIL. DONC SI JAURAIS LAISSER LA VOITURE A EUX POUR LE NETTOYAGE, JAURAIS DU PAYER 120 EURO. Cest simplement du vol. On est contraint à payer 120e de olus pour pouvoir récupérer la voiture, pour de sombres raisons de mode de paiement. Aucune alternative sinon perdre le montant de la location.
Péssimo serviço. Fraude. Rental car péssimo, sem condições, a 4 km do aeroporto. Estivemos 2 horas à espera do carro que nos levaria lá. Durante esse tempo ligámos dezenas de vezes e não atendia ninguém. Ao fim de 2 horas de espera, lá conseguimos apanhar o carro que nos levou ao Rental car. Chegando à Surprice, percebemos que estava muita gente descontente a discutir as condições dos alugueres e dos veículos (todos em péssimas condições, com riscos e amolgadelas). Aqui, voltaram a cobrar-nos mais aluguer e mais seguros que já tinhamos contratado online, através da empresa Holliday Cars. A caução que nos estavam a pedir era também um preço elevadíssimo, e já a tinhamos também assegurado online. Acabámos por desistir por verificarmos que a Surprice não era confiável. Ficámos sem o dinheiro e sem carro de aluguer. Muito mau.

A experiência foi HORRÍVEL no SurPrice. Quando fui devolver carro, por não feito o seguro online e não com eles, inventaram e indicaram 2 riscos que nem se viam e o catologaram de risco médio, e debitaram-me 396,00. Para piorar, disseram que esse risco não constava no sistema, mas não o registaram no sistema, para poderem roubar a outro cliente Não aconselho aluguer de carro nesta empresa.
Very good and friendly service
Used this car rental twice. Both times get freshly new clean vehicles, the same or higher class , than I booked. Stuff is helpful. Didnt have any troubles with refund of deposit (service manager checking the car not very precisely, just general view). Process of getting and returning didnt take long (15mins) , but there could be a line, so reserve 30-40 minutes just in case. There is a metro station in 10 mins walk, easier to travel from and back to lisbon. Check the prices on aggregators, but I had really valuable offers both times here. Cant say anything bad. had to wait for 20 minutes once for my turn, but it was high season. Thanks to the guys.

Je retire une étoile pour le service à laéroport. Personne nétait présent et la personne qui nous accueille était à lextérieur, on a dû la chercher et il était aussi chaleux quune porte de prison. Et je retire une étoile pour le pick up, la personne au comptoir était vraiment désagréable et la voiture nétait pas prête, on a attendu 1h au total. Par contre, mention spécial à Tiago qui est vraiment super sympa et souriant.
I was worried before I rent the car because of the bad reviews, but to be honest, the car was good and the staff are very friendly at car collection and drop off (except one lady at the reception upon car pick up that was unfriendly). For your information, the car is not picked up from the airport. The company has a free shuttle that picks you up from the airport and drop you at the rental office. If you arrive after 8pm, they will charge you extra 40 for late pickup. For me, I arrived after 8pm, but i decided to go my hotel to sleep and go the next morning to pick up the car, instead of paying the extra 40 . Overall I am satisfied with my rental with company.
The pick-up and transfer to the airport went smoothly. The signage at the airport could be better (you have to get out of the terminal and someone is standing there with a very small sign in his hand). The waiting time for pickup was very long.

Je suis arrivé avec ma famille à Lisbonne hier soir, j avais réservé une voiture chez Surprice. Nous avons attendu pendant 45 mn. La navette qui n est pas venue, nous avons essayé d appeler le numéro de téléphone affiché sur leur site, pas de réponse, le répondeur automatique nous informe qu ils ferment à 20h alors que notre avion est arrivé à 20h10. Ils le savaient car j avais indiqué le numéro de vol et l horaire. Finalement nous avons pris un taxi pour aller à l hôtel. Ce matin, j essaye d appeler depuis une demi-heure, mais chaque fois le répondeur automatique m indique que tous les opérateurs sont occupés. La honte vraiment.

Já fiz mais de 10 alugueres com a surprice em diferentes balcoes e este foi o último. 1 hora e 20 min apenas para ser atendido. Quando me atenderam alegaram que o chip do cartão de crédito não funcionava e não me deram alternativa para pagar a caução, não aceitaram qualquer um dos outros cartões, não tentaram encontrar alternativa para cobrar o valor da franquia. Nem com banda magnética, nem manualmente, nem com outros cartões. Simultaneamente a toda esta situação, a colega que estava a atender ao lado comenta que não tinha carros para entregar ao próximo cliente, que teria de entregar o carro de gama diferente. Parece coincidências a mais. Saí da rent a car e acabei de realizar o pagamento num terminal com o mesmo cartão e este funcionou. Obrigado por me terem feito perder quase 3 horas do meu dia. Só não dou uma estrela porque todos os outros alugueres correram bem.

Terrible service and shoddy practices. Lady was very rude and unhelpful, looking to charge my pensioner father 5x the agreed rental because he didn t have his credit card on him. They will say it s in their terms and conditions but this is not how you do business.

Absolutely miserable service. We had to wait over an hour to pick up the rental car. Additionally, a very unfriendly employee informed us that we had to pay a deposit of 2500, which could only be done using the driver s credit card. As a result, we were forced to take out insurance to reduce the deposit to 400. They gave me the feeling that they advertise with cheap prices to attract customers, only to catch them off guard with the deposit requirement buried in their terms and conditions. While the car itself and the delivery process were fine, I will never rent from Surprice again.

Tem uns carros bons, mas, muito decepção, pq paga-se 1 valor já com seguro incluso no site, ao retirar o carro, tem que pagar mais outro seguro de 112 + 300 de garantia, pra não pagar os 18.. do valor total da franquia. 30min de espera no aeroporto, mais quase 1hr na loja, pra retirar o carro. Ou seja, oq estava marcado para às 11hrs fazer a retirada, fui sair da lj às 14:20. Não gostei. Ainda peguei o carro com o tanque completamente vazio, o gajo, mandou ir correndo a bomba a abastecer kkkkkkkk.
Esta Rentar car, é para fujir. 2 horas à espera para recever o carro sujo e o deposito na reserva, outro cliente que teve que deixar a caução de 1600 porque tinha um toque minusculo na porta, façam muita muita atenção quando recebe o carro. No momento da entrega do nosso a senhora muito pouco professional quería nos cobrar a limpeza do carro porque disse que estava a areia da praia toda dentro do cofre, depois de termos pago o carro por 3 semanas de férias, será que tinhamos que peguir um aspirador ao hotel para deixar mos o carro limpo para o proximo cliente ? Ou esse serviço de limpeza não é para ser feito pela propria empresa .
Attention, when returning the car, this company will do everything to steal the deposit, even in the trash in the countryside. They want you to pay for it, it was dirty and they dont want you to return dirty cars. I rented the car for 3 weeks and there was a scandal at the time of delivery. Run away, its really a mafia and well organized to steal the deposit.

Rented at Lisbon airport The good: - good car in good condition - return process was smooth and without surprises The bad: - you have to take a shuttle from the airport, not mentioned anywhere when making the reservation - unfriendly personnel when picking the car, not communicating - long waiting time to pick up the car - car delivered with 1/4 gas tank, which means you have to stop immediately to fill the gas, and you almost always return the car with more than that

Il est 20h30 je suis loin de l aéroport et comme par hasard la caution ne passe pas, grosse arnaque parce que les plafonds de la carte le permette largement. Obligée de prendre l assurance. Donc la voiture passe de 139 à 500 les 12 jours. Génial. Et il me prend pour une idiote en plus.

Warning! Won t ever use again despite good prices. Gangster mentality by two employees today with intimidation and subtle threats of violence towards me. I booked through a third party platform and Surprice confirmed the booking request. At the counter, they said they have no cars available and my broker platform canceled it. My broker platform disagreed and said they didn t know (have it in writing). The Surprice employees didn t want to show me proof they said they have that my broker canceled we don t have to show you. I asked if they could listen to me since they kept interrupting me. The taller employee Carlos got up his chair and leaned aggressively towards me. The other short employee with tattoos all over then said we would go outside with you but have to work threatening violence. All while I repeatedly requested a confirmation of cancellation by the platform to get a refund for the prepayment. Absolutely unacceptable behavior by their employees. I, who was alone, got intimidated by two angry Surprice employees for reasonably requesting a writing note. I went back online after the encounter and saw they list many cars available. I lost hours commuting there and dealing with them, for only stress. Use at your own risk! [Update after their reply: I have full recording of how two of their aggressive employees threatened me, and any false claims from their department will be treated as defamation. I have been absolutely appropriately asked for receipt of a canceled booking. Their claim I had no booking is false, too. I have emails showing confirmations for a car. Stunning they make up lies and defend unprofessional aggressive behavior of their employees.]
Surprise plutôt. Pour régler le problème de carte de débit/crédit il suffit de payer ! Ah ben du coup ça fonctionne en fait. Juste une question de principe et inflexibilite des contrats (autre conducteur, autre carte, etc) On est simplement piégés. Résultat on laisse plus que le prix initial de la location juste pour avoir le droit de payer.. nimporte quoi. La remise du véhicule cest 0 explications et aucun contrôle, on vous pousse dehors avec la voiture suivante, vous ferez les vérifications dans la rue ou pas du tout ; à vous de prendre le risque. Retour du véhicule se termine enfin bien avec sourire et quelques mots agréables de lemployée. Fin dexpérience ; on est juste contents den être sortis. Modification davis suite à leur réponse ; 1. Je nai aucune question alors ne me répondez pas un texte inutile. 2. Si vous souhaitez améliorer votre service arrêter simplement dagir comme des escrocs.

Demorei 2:30 pra conseguir pegar o carro no balcão, carro ja reservado. Foi a pior parte do aluguel. E não entregar o carro com tanque cheio é muita preguiça também, Me entregaram com 3/8 do tanque. Se torna uma forma de ganhar dinheiro em cima de quem alugou ja que ninguém consegue entregar certinho e acaba entregando com mais. Apesar disso, a devolução do carro foi rápida com a atendente bem atenciosa e resolutiva. (Eduarda)

Excellent service. Clean brand new cars. Only issue was waiting for 2+ hours to get the car as there was a long que and only 3 counters to finish the paperwork. Also seating spaces available were limited and I had to stand while waiting.
Che dire? Una azienda di dilettanti ( e non voglio dire altro) che vuole spennare i turisti. Arrivo Domenica 15/09 in aeroporto di Lisbona. Nessun ufficio se non un ragazzino con un foglietto di carta che parla solo portoghese che ci indica il luogo dove verremo prelevati. Arriviti in ufficio coda interminabile per il ritiro dellauto con circa tre ore di attesa. Durante il contratto mi vengono prelevati 2460 Euro quale cauzione.La prossima volta aprirò un mutuo Mezza giornata da turista buttata nel bagno.... Dopo attento, per modo di dire, esame dellauto da parte di un un incaricato , dove sono io che gli indico alcuni danni, graffi e botte già presenti, finalmente ritiro lauto. Ma il bello viene adesso. Non ho fatto alcun incidente durante la durata del noleggio ma al controllo lincaricato a colpo sicuro mi fa notare un graffietto sul parafango posteriore sinistro che allego a questa recensione. Alla fine sono stato costretto a pagare la bellezza di 261 Euro per questo danno con il ,ricatto che altrimenti non mi sarebbe stata restituita la cauzione di 2460 Euro. Cara Surprice car Rental, un nome una garanzia , il cliente non si tratta così. Voi campate con il nostro denaro ma questa per quanto mi riguarda è una t....a Gente ...alla larga da questa azienda Comunque non mi fermerò qui cara Surprice Rental car. Nossa experiência está sendo pessima, primeiro a longa espera no aeroporto para que o shuttle nos trouxesse para pegar o carro. No local de coleta do carro, um mundo de pessoas aguardando, senhas foram disponibilizadas, e aguardamos em torno de 3 horas para sermos atendidos. Não recomendo usar esta empresa. Atendimento dos piores que já utilizei na minha vida. Não respeitam as pessoas. Os clientes. Não Adianta agendar horários.

I rented a car for my trip to Portugal. I was placed with Surprice through the third party website www.booking.com. From Lisbon airport, I waited for a shuttle. This consumed a lot of time and was also quite stressful, because there are so many shuttles arriving and departing, and many people waiting for the respective shuttle to take them to their car rental company. After arriving at the car rental place, it was not clear on where to go - I ended up walking into the drop-off area, in which I ended up waiting for someone just to tell me to go downstairs for car pickup. Upon arriving downstairs, I had to get a number and wait to be called. This was such a slow and poor system, and I noticed a family STILL waiting for their rental car, though they had gotten on a shuttle before me. Once I finally got called, the service agents were again pretty slow and didn t seem to have any sense of urgency. Also, the explanation I got on some of my options was not all that clear in my opinion. Once I finally got my rental car, it was perfect - no issues on that front. I managed just fine and enjoyed the car. I will mention that I had been advertised a car similar to a Toyota Corolla and ended up with more of a larger sized SUV. This didn t impact me, but for people less inclined to larger vehicles, this may have been an issue. After a week or so of adventuring, I returned my rental car and was given the clear (no reported damages) and just paid my tolls due from the highways. Almost a month later, a charge of more than $80 appears in my credit card from Surprice. I was at a loss as to why they would be charging my credit card, long after the trip ended. And again, at car drop off, there was ZERO mention of any sort of additional charges. My contract had been delivered to me at car pickup, and I had been charged on the spot for the full amount. I emailed them on the matter and did not get any response. After 2 weeks of waiting, I followed up. The next day, I get a reply asking for my rental agreement number - though I had attached all pertaining rental documents in my first email to them. I follow up with the requested information on the same day, and no response. I send 2 more subsequent follow ups, and still no response. This is now a dispute with my bank and I am hoping they can deal with the rental company directly. Why would a rental company charge their client weeks after the car was rented and returned? There is no valid reason to do so, and to date I haven t received a valid explanation from the company. It s unethical and as far as I m concerned, fraud. Please be careful with this company and know that you have plenty of other options in Lisbon. EDIT FOLLOWING COMPANY RESPONSE: The company has since replied to my review asking me to email them. I am not emailing you. I have already emailed you requesting this be looked into, and have sent several follow-ups. The responsibility should not fall on the customer to deal with poor business practices. This issue is now with my bank and will be handled as a financial dispute. Please do better.
Worked pretty well, good prices if you rent in advance, way better than the car rentals at the airport, they provide a shuttle that picks you up at the airport and returns you back, would recommend to take a insurance in advance

A FUIR !!! Comme beaucoup dautres commentaires le soulignent : arnaque totale ! Quand vous venez prendre votre voiture à lagence ils insistent très grossièrement pour prendre leur assurance qui est à 400 euros pour 15 jours dans notre cas. Vous nêtes cependant pas obligé de la prendre mais étant donné létat des voitures qui sont toutes rayées et bossées nous navons préféré ne pas risquer pour ne pas avoir de mauvaises surprises avec la caution qui est de 2500 euros si on refuse de prendre cette assurance. Pour couronner le tout, les employés sont absolument tous désagréable et condescendant que ça soit du mec qui vous attend à laéroport aux employés sur place. Et leur navette pour aller de laéroport à la location est sensée passer toutes les 15 minutes. Nous lavons attendu plus de 45 minutes alors queux même ne savaient pas où était passé leur chauffeur avec la navette pendant ce temps... Enfin bref, une agence de location nulle en tout point...
Une étoile, juste pour le retour rapide du véhicule mais agence à fuir, déjà on nous l avez proposer sur le site de notre vol en nous disant que l agence se trouvais dans l aéroport alors que pas du tout, on viens vous récupérez pour vous emmener en mini bus (avec des employés pas aimables du tout), plus de 2h d attente pour avoir notre véhicule que l on avait réserver plusieurs mois à l avance, on essayent de vous faire payer + chère leurs assurances ou de faire une caution à crédit, il faut négocier avec eux pour ne rien prendre (surtout qu on avait déjà pris une assurance en + lors de la réservation du véhicule) en bref honnêtement nous ne retournerons JAMAIS dans une agence SURPRICE, on vous vend beaucoup trop de rêve pour un service DÉPLORABLE.

ATTENTION ARNAQUE J en ai loué des voitures, au moins 2 fois par an au Portugal ou ailleurs. Jamais fais arnaquer comme ça. C était tellement malveillant. Navette 1 fois par heure déjà. Du jamais vu. Ensuite vous arrivez, on vous fait le coup « vous avez une carte débit faut payer l assurance on peut pas prendre la caution » okay mais j ai une carte de crédit en fait. 2-3 tours de passe passe pour que ça refuse votre carte et vous forcer à prendre l assurance à 400 ! 10 jours de locations à 600 (oui j ai pris une amende parce que j avais 0,60cts de péage que je voulais payer, ils m ont dit que je pouvais payer bien sûr au comptoir avec 36 d amende) Oh et la voiture, on me la donner en réserve génial, une clef sans pile donc pour ouvrir le coffre je devais passer par la porte conducteur avec la clef, mettre le contact et ouvrir le coffre, génial. Pas de lumière dans la voiture et le dispositif Viaverde collé au pare brise avec du double face. Vraiment génial. Jamais payé aussi cher de ma vie pour un service aussi terrible.

Budget non prévu pour de courtes vacances. Une voiture sans essence et très défaillante. Une galère sans nom. Argent pris à la dépose du véhicule également..
À ÉVITER ! Vous allez forcément payer leur assurance de 350 car la caution de 2500 demandée ne passe pas avec une carte bancaire française !

We collected our car in Faro to return in Lisbon, customer service was useless at drop off, as I didn t did a video the ensured there was a new scratch, charged more than 200 Euros, No discussion possible, need to go to the insurance. Impossible d avoir le service client au téléphone !!!! Mon conjoint a oublier son téléphone dans la voiture, impossible de le récupérer. Par mail, ils restent injoignable également. Depuis le début la catastrophe avec cette entreprise. Entre larnaque avec lassurance a un prix exorbitant alors qu on a pris une assurance tout risque lors de la réservation et celle qu ils nous impose! Que des frais suplementaires !! Au final une petite fiat 500 qui devait nous revenir a 129 + 35 avec lassurance nous couter finalement + de 350 . Voiture plus petite que prévue proposée, pas prête à lheure de prise prévue mais 2 heures après, réservoir rempli à 1/4, voiture très sale et en mauvais état pour cacher les défauts. Frais cachés (frais dabandon dans la traduction qui sont en fait 130 de frais pour le dépôt à un autre endroit que la prise en charge). Proposent une assurance supplémentaire alors quon a déjà une couverture complète avec Booking. Rendu tendu, on sent que la personne qui contrôle est malhonnête et cherche à nous facturer des frais supplémentaires. Ils ont essayé de nous facturer un impact sur le pare brise qui était déjà présent, mais que la personne de la prise en charge avait volontairement ignorée car trop petite, on embêtera pas pour ça. Ils nont pas les photos du contrôle de la prise en charge et demandent que vous ayez des preuves. Faire une vidéo très minutieuse.
It was an overall pleasant experience except for the initial wait time of about an hour. The car I got was pretty much new. They also open a little late at 8am for car return, so watch out for your time if you have an early flight out.
The car was good and as expected, providing comfortable and trouble free journeys. Staff were friendly and helpful. Details of minor marks on the car were thorough and clear at the start, making return straightforward. Location of shuttle at Porto airport is not clear and we had a short delay waiting to be picked up. Information on the Porto airport website about location of Surprice incorrectly stated it is just off the site - it is actually some distance, so the shuttle is needed. Overall a good experience.

I had to pay for the protection twice, one to the company I booked the car with and the other directly with them, that s because they didn t accept the cover with third part company and their one was much more expensive (84 ) than the protection I bought while booking (30 ). Finally we return the car and because the gasoline was 100cl less we had to pay extra 28 for such an insignificant difference (about 5 less petrol) especially we had to pay the petrol fine more than other cars because the car we were given was class E (although we booked a cheaper one) and they gave it to us as a gift because of the protection issue we had initially. The gift was for themselves. No wonder why it s called Surprice, everything was surprisingly super priced!

Un peu déçu. Le modèle réservé n était pas disponible. La voiture prêté était assez fatiguée dans les côtes et plutôt bruyante. L abonnement pour les péages automatiques a été fortement conseillé (2 euros par jour) alors que finalement inutile en Algarve.
Surprice should monitor the condition of the vehicles better. They gave us a car with brake problems, and we had to go back to change cars. The employee who helped us from the beginning was friendly.
Péssimo!! Alugamos e pagamos carro pela internet com o objetivo de o levantar no aeroporto de Cagliari- Sardenha. O voo partiu do Porto com atraso de 4 horas e quando chegamos e formos levantar o carro, foi-nos comunicado que a reserva tinha sido cancelada pois apenas dispúnhamos de 1 hora para o fazer. Depressa se apressaram a dizer que resolviam o problema mas teríamos que pagar 1000 por nova reserva . e este valor já era uma pechincha . Péssimo! Não nos devolveram o dinheiro e tivemos de fazer nova reserva noutra companhia, claro!
Surprice in fact you have the surprise: 3 hours of queue starting from the Airport until we got the keys. Then you have to deposit more than 2000 only with credit card at your name, so if you have just a normal debit card you are screwd and you have to pay more 190 of fee. People at the desk are lazy and they do not help you at all, they just charge you more. Stay away from this rental company and from the websites that propose you this.

I honestly never write reviews but I m here to warn you. I ve rented over 50 cars in the last 5 years, this experience was so bad at Surprice that I wish no one else got through what we did. They have absurd terms and conditions that they expected us to know and their only solution was to rebook with them for an extra 440 EURO ontop of our original booking. The entire thing felt slimy and disingenuous. Stay away from this company.
Very reasonably priced but make sure to take your own pictures of the damage on the car prior to departing, as they will scrutinise it heavily and sting you for even very minor scratches that were pre existing.
They tried very hard to charge us for damage to the car that was already there when we collected it. Once they knew we had taken photos they wanted to see all the photos to try to spot any new damage. Luckily I had taken about a hundred. Photograph your car people as this is how they try to generate additional income.
At first was a long line to get the car. My wife was pregnant so we were able to be prioritized. Good company. Just make sure you are extremely detailed on the damages and photo or video the car when you pick it up. Great car provided, got us to where we needed to be and received what we reserved.
Alguém da locadora ficou de me esperar no aeroporto, com uma placa com meu nome. Ninguém apareceu. Tentei contato por telefone, mas só havia atendimento por máquina. Não havia quem pudesse dar atendimento pessoal. Descobri que havia serviço de shuttle para transporte até a locadora. Embora já estivesse esperando há 45 min, não me permitiram embarcar. Tive que esperar o próximo, 15 minutos depois. Ao chegar na locadora, tive que aguardar uma fila para atendimento. Após resolvida a formalização (eu já havia feito a reserva e o pagamento online), tive que esperar mais de meia hora para lavagem do carro que eu já deveria ter retirado há mais de duas horas! Ao todo, desde que saí da área de desembarque, levei 3 horas para sair da Locadora com o carro. Quanto ao carro: aluguei um Seat Ibiza e me foi fornecido um Peugeot 208. Já a caminho da estrada que me levaria ao Algarve, me dei conta de uma sujeira no para-brisas que dificultava a visão. Parei num posto de gasolina para limpar, mas diferentemente do Brasil, não havia água ou rodo para limpeza dos vidros. Fui ao sanitário e voltei com um papel toalha com sabonete líquido. Descobri que a sujeira era pelo lado de dentro. Ficou uma melecama, mas pelo menos ficou melhor de enxergar. Na estrada, ao passar dos 100 km/h (o limite era 120 km/h), a direção trepidava. No meio do caminho, a tela parou de mostrar o Google Maps. Pensei que fosse por não haver sinal de Internet, mas só depois descobri que a tomada USB do painel do carro estava com problema, impedindo por vezes de acompanhar a navegação pelo painel (Android Car). Não pretendo voltar a contratar seus serviços.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze with their help. They gave us recommendations for things to do in the city which was very appreciated. The car was great, really clean new car. They offered shuttle to and from the airport. Very affordable price. Amazing staff once again!

Complete rip off! They will do their best to find tiny scratches and charge you tons of money for it, 370 euro for 2 small scratches less than 3 cm .. this is their business model! Customer service terrible , they dont pick phone and dont answer email, this business reflect badly on Portugal reputation , government customer department should do Proper Investigation and penalize them heavily for scamming visitors
J ai réserver une voiture de location en dernière minute , je me suis trompée de date (1jour) je suis arrivée à l agence me disant que la voiture était pas disponible ce que je comprend et me proposant une voiture à 400 en plus ensuite j ai appelé car jet qui n a pu trouver aucune solution sachant que j étais flexible. 100 euro perdu c est scandaleux
We reserved 1 day to late and went from a 117 location to 450 . They didnt want to help us find a solution, so we decided to cancel the location. Of course, they didnt want to pay back the already paid location... We had to call Carjet to get a small amount of the location back even though they would have found immediately someone to take the car instead of us. Dont recommend...
Not very helpful, the team working on the Lisbon car pick up and drop off do not seem to want to work. Have to chase for someone to serve the customers. Had to wait for my car to be ready at pick up and was told by a gentleman on the desk that I was lucky not to wait 2 hours even though it was already 1 hour after my booking time. Apart from the staff working on the car pick up area, the staff delivering the cars which were helpful.

Pessima esperienza 2 ore e mezza di ritardo nella consegna dellauto ispezionata al buio dellautorimessa.Auto con quasi 80000 km, con varie strisciate nella fiancata ,con un quarto di serbatoio e senza acqua nella vaschetta del tergocristallo. Cauzione di 2500 sulla carta di credito. Alla riconsegna adottano una precisione sospetta nellispezione dellauto e a forza di girare trovano un graffio di ben quasi 4 mm nello spigolo del paraurti posteriore. Mi vengono addebitati 380 per il danno. Fortunatamente avevo fatto unassicurazione per il rimborso della cauzione. Purtroppo non ho avuto tempo di guardare le recensioni prima di noleggiare. Su Trustpilot ci si può fare un idea. Mai più.

I rarely if ever write a review because I have more important things to do than to waste my energy being negative. The place just has no customer service, they are rude, and they represent themselves as an airport location. I could detail my experience but its not worth my time so if you have a choice Id recommend somewhere else. They act as if you are bothering them and they dont particularly like American tourist. So buyer beware, if they are cheaper than use them but Id spend more to use a bigger agency like Hertz or Avis. (Update to Surprice Response) though the allegations of discrimination are hard to prove, they are not unfounded or unfair. Discrimination is a very hard thing to prove in the court of law but I can certainly express how I feel I was treated and I m sure the job is tough dealing with people from all over the world and many language barriers the employees encounter which causes frustration but attitude and tonality are everything. We didn t feel this anywhere else while on our 15 day trip across Portugal, Gibraltar, or Spain, in fact I was impressed with the countries hospitality, but not your rental agency. Furthermore I reached out to your agency through the customer service email to inquire about a parking citation 2 weeks ago and I have never received so much as an auto-response back. Your agency is a 3rd rate rental agency at best. Thankfully the car was clean and the price was on par.

Vous demande de payez des assurances supplémentaires lors de la prise en charge du véhicule, ( le montant dépassant celui de la réservation bien entendu). Le personnel est d une amabilité qui laisse a désiré, vous êtes loin d être leur priorité. Je déconseille fortement cette agence de location qui manque énormément de sérieux !

Total scam, avoid it. I rented 2 cars and I now understand the mechanism. Price is very cheap to attract you. At pick up you have a choice to pay 80% more for insurrance on the car. If you pay no problem at return, you have already paid extra. If you do not pay at start, they will find a small scratch when you return the car and charge you 500 for it. (They even use their finger on the wheels to try to feel a scratch)Total experience is bad and you lose your money. Bad thing is that this company is an official rental car proposal on some airlines like Ryanair, so it seems good enough, but it is not. Walk away from it and pick a serious rental car company.

Expérience plutôt bonne. Attention à bien prendre une assurance en cas de pépin, de base nous l avions pas prise mais lors du retrait, on va forcément vous pousser à la prendre, prévoir le paiement de l assurance sur place si vous l avez évité sur le site. Voiture en bonne état, équipé plutôt efficace et rapide lors du retrait et check out, venez avec le sourire et on vous le rendra forcément. Plus, tout de même prévoir le paiement d une vingtaine d euros à la restitution, ça correspond aux péages obligatoires pour entrer ou sortir de Lisbonne :/. Le check-out a été rapide et efficace car nous avions un petit véhicule (Fiat 500) des service plutôt qualitatif. Maîtrise de l anglais est tout de même primordiale pour essayer de négocier les assurances etc . Je pense revenir dans quelques semaines !

Terrible. Not at all kind. An hour of waiting at the airport waiting for the shuttle and another on the way back. They also charged us 174 euros for a 1 cm mark on the inside of the door that was already there at the time of delivery but we had no photo of. They said it was our responsibility to prove that we had not done it. Even if it had been done by the previous user. Even though they did not have any photos of the door on delivery they were certain it was our fault. AVOID THEM or take photos of every single cm of the car and expect an hour of waiting on the way there and back.

Do not rent a car here: unexpected expenses!!! You will be charged with extra unexpected expenses if your car is not 100% clean or if it has a very minor scratches or defects. They tell you not to return the car filthy (I understand that) and mine just had a bit of sand and they said I needed a special wash, which cost me 127 . This is something you can vacuum in 5 mins for like 5 ... Also, I tried to do it myself, but nearby there were no options (closed car at the Galp gas station wash and another one was full service that lasted 2h!) The car itself was fine, but if I could leave no stars for this car rental I would. I will definitely NOT be renting a car here again!
SCAMMERS!!!! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE OR ANY OF THEIR AFFILIATES, INTERNATIONAL AND DRIVE & MOVE ETC. They did a poor job of inspecting the car, gave us a filthy car with no fuel, did not tell us about thr adblue requirements (we are from the states where adblue doesnt exist) then upon return of the vehicle charged me an additional $400 for damage they say the car had. When I tried to explain that the damage was pre-existing just as the other multitude of dings and stratches he asked me for the proof. Of course I did not have any cause I didnt cause the damage. Car was garage kept the entire visit. I will be disputing this with my credit card asap. Do not give these scammers your business!!
Very bad attention in reception and in the return. They do not accept the deposit if you have credit card without the numbers on it, so they force you to buy a 100 euro insurance. If you are thinking of renting a car in Lisboa, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.
The rental car company s HQ is about 3 km from the Lisboa airport. The transfer bus starts in front of the airport s arrival hall. The bus was dirty and dingy, which gave us a first impression to what we have to expect from that car rental company. The registration process took about 40 min (waiting, negotiating the contact, explaining the electronic toll road device, payment, car handover, etc.). The car we got was laced with scratches and dents. The bumper at one side was loose. Documenting all damages of the car was not possible as this would expect us, to take fotos of almost each single part of the car. 30 - 40 mins after we drove away from the car rental company station, the air con of the car stopped working and warm air only came out from the air blower. We were already too far away to return to the rental station. Calling the station was useless, after waiting in an endless loop we wrote a WhatsApp message which was answered with the following words We have already registered your request and will contact you as soon as possible. Thanks. After one day nothing happend and we wrote a subsequent message. We repeated this and after 7 days s.o. called us. We explained the issue and the service person agreed that using a car without AC in summer in Portugal is impossible due to the hot temperatures of 42°. He also agreed that the rental company will pay a compensation for the AC malfunction. He also said that s.o. will message us where we can let fix the AC. Finally nobody sent a message or called us, so we had a car for 11 days without AC in Portugal in August. Returning the car was a long procedure as the queue of people returning a car at that time was long. No damage of the car has been charged to us. We got 2 email addresses where we should report the AC issue. No refund was granted to us at the rental station. After again sending several emails to the mentioned email address and sending again messages to the WhatsApp contact I resigned and decided to write this comment. My recommendation: Do not rent a car with this company, service is bad, cars are simple and not maintained at all. Last thing to mention: The car we got (Peugeot 208) already had 62.000 km and the engine was very weak. In Portugal s mountains it is almost impossible to drive normally with this car except you drive in 1st gear only.
Maleducati, spocchiosi. Ti danno dei cessi di macchine rigate quasi dappertutto e poi fanno le pulci a qualsiasi cosa. Per fortuna non ho avuto sorprese o dovuto discutere. Tempi lunghissimi per il check in. Più di unora dallarrivo. Aggiungo, dopo più di 12 giorni che non liberano correttamente il plafond della carta di credito. Ho parlato con la banca e mi hanno confermato che non ricevono la chiamata dalla società per annullare limpegno. Quindi occorre aspettare il fine mese. Sono passati 12 giorni dalla fine del noleggio e ho ancora blocco 2460 euro sul mio plafond.

Aluguei o carro no dia 2 de agosto e devolvi no dia 05 do mesmo mês, eles observaram tudo e viram que estava tudo bem porém até hoje, dia 29 do mesmo mês ainda não entrou o valor que depositei Eles dizem que bloqueiam no cartão e depois da pessoa devolver o carro desbloquea 7 dias depois, no máximo e quando tento entrar em contacto ninguém atende, fui à para esta instituição e dizem para mandar email para a administração e passam se 5 dias que mandei e não recebi nenhuma resposta. 300 em causa.
O atendimento é ruim. O carro foi entregue com mau cheiro, arranhões e amassados, o que nos obriga a tirar várias fotos e vídeos do veículo. No final, na devolução do carro, eles inventam amassados que já estavam lá, e te forçam a pagar por eles. Se você disser que vai chamar a polícia ou outro órgão de proteção aos seus direitos, os funcionários respondem: Não adianta ligar para a polícia nem para ninguém, você tem que pagar e ainda zombam de você! No mesmo dia da entrega do meu carro a pessoa que estava a minha frente também pagou amassados, e mais 3 pessoas depois pagaram também! Ou seja, não alugue carro nesta empresa!

Après plusieurs mauvaises expériences chez dautres loueurs, jamais déçus par Surprice qui sont assez honnêtes, pas de mauvaises surprises jusquà maintenant que ce soit à Lisbonneou Porto. A savoir que comme tous les loueurs : ils ne prennent que des cartes de crédit et que la via verde pour les péages est recommandée.
DECEPÇÃO! Começa pela desorganização da espera do veículo que te leva até a locadora. Espera-se uns 30 minutos no aeroporto. O rapaz que te atende, aparece com um cigarro na boca, e diz para esperar por uma carrinha preta. E quando o veículo chega se não ficar atenta, pessoas que chegam depois de você, entram no carro e você fica lá esperando. Na entrega do carro, funcionário chega com um carro sujo, com bastantes arranhões finos e profundos e alguns não assinalados no relatório do contrato. Ao ser questionado ao funcionário que não dava nenhuma importância a alguns arranhões que víamos, que não estavam no contrato, ele quase ignorava e não dava nenhuma importância ( tática visualizada com outros clientes). De forma pouco cordial pediu-nos para fazer vídeos e fotos do carro. Fizemos alguns registros, mas impossível registar tudo. Na devolução do carro, a pessoa que foi fazer a vistoria, foi rápida num lugar específico e vejam lá, ( que coincidência) encontrou um arranhão que não tinha!! E sabíamos de todo o cuidado que tivemos com o carro e que não fizemos aquele arranhão. Quando começamos a travar um diálogo com a pessoa que esse arranhão não era nosso, olhamos a volta e tinha 3 clientes enfurecidos a questionar o mesmo problema. Por causa do bloqueio do cartão que fica, nem adianta que eles falam em todos os casos com muita tranquilidade, como se fosse tática treinada. E é!! Combram 230 pelo arranhão. Eu quando disse que tinham-se fotos do carro, a pessoa da vistoria ficou super espantada e disse que se tivesse de todo o carro ela tirava o valor do arranhão. Mas como pode-se ver nas fotos, impossível tirar de tudo. Escrevemos no livro de reclamações e quando voltamos ao local para pagar a parte da via verde. Tinham MAIS 3 clientes TODOS a reclamar pela mesma causa. Empresa desonesta, e com práticas afim de lucrar por cima de turistas.
Voiture réservée par rentalcar, qui précise en petit dans le contrat que cette agence ne prend que des cartes de credit et non débit (grande majorité des cartes françaises). Sur place, ils nous refusent de donner la voiture déjà payée, sauf si nous posons une assurance chez eux à 500 pour 18j !!Sinon, pas de voiture... Pas le choix, Énorme sentiment darnaque, partagé par dautres français juste avant nous. De plus, personnels désagréables, 2h dattente, mal accueilli. Seul sourire : à la sortie pour nous demander de nous mettre un commentaire sur Google... A éviter+++
