Ein Stern ist zuviel. Wir bekamen unser gebuchtes und bezahltes Auto nicht ausgehändigt und mussten ein Upgrade für den vierfachen Preis buchen. Angeblich hatten wir zu viel Gepäck obwohl wir bei der Buchung extra auf die Angabe zwei Gepäckstücke achteten. Das scheint hier Masche zu sein. Finger weg, wir können die Firma absolut nicht weiterempfehlen.

Alles bestens. Transfer vom und bei Abgabe zum Flughafen klappte reibungslos. Die von manchen kritisierte Pflicht-Mautgebühr ist Standard bei allen Vermietern und entspricht der Notwendigkeit, dass es auf portugiesischen Autobahnen und Brücken Maut gibt (Man kann dann einfach in der Spur mit dem grünen V durchfahren). Das Auto war neu und vollgetankt. Bei Abholung und Rückgabe gab es einen kurzen Rundgang ums Auto um bestehende Schäden am Fahrzeug aufzunehmen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.

Surpeeendeu me bastante pela positiva, desde o shuttle desde o aeroporto, o levantamento, e a entrega do carro. Tudo excelente, super atenciosos , explicaram tudo super bem ao mínimo detalhe, preferi adicionar o seguro e correu tudo super bem. Carro novo, super limpo. Só tenho agradecer ao João e a Adriana que apesar de eu ter chegado depois do fecho atenderam me super bem. Aconselho!!! Muito obrigado e voltarei a reservar.

Zéro étoile pour cette agence. Tout dabord, elle nest pas à laéroport, il faut aller dans Lisbonne pour trouver celle-ci (10 min en voiture). Jai fait une réservation par Internet avec une assurance sans franchise ; mais lorsque jai voulu récupérer le véhicule, il ma été demandé de payer 1600 de franchise alors que javais lassurance sans franchise. Il ma été demandé aussi ce que jallais faire comme trajet, où jallais aller avec la voiture pendant 15 jours... ! Finalement, devant toutes ces difficultés, je nai pas pris le véhicule. Je plains les étrangers qui ont affaire à cette agence qui nest ni professionnelle ni sérieuse.

Care! They charge km despite all km inklusive. They did not Handout contract I had to sign quickly to ger in Tim ti Lisbon Airport. They also tried to charge scratches that were not properly documented, but I documented them on video. Beware

Dont book there. They try to charge you preexisting damages at the car and book your credit card with extras which were already included!

Unseriöser Vermieter! Meine Partnerin sollte erst Schäden bezahlen, welche nicht im Protokoll vermerkt waren, die sie aber zu Beginn auf Video dokumentierte. Dann wurde ihr ein Vertrag wegen zu vielen km untergejubelt, obwohl alle km frei waren. Dieses müsste sue unterschreiben, um zum Flughafen gebracht zu werden. Höchst unseriös, Rmsils werden nicht beantwortet!

Beware: they charge your credit card with extras that you have already booked and payed, like unlimited km!! The chat with my wife WAS when it was already too late, so I could not help.

Very friendly staff, the car was fine, however there are operational issues that effected the customer experience - the fuel tank was not full when we collected the car, but we were told it was, and as we had to return it full we ended up having to request a refund for fuel. The shuttle service to the airport was very slow as there was only one driver available.

No dia 26/12 às 9h estava agendado para levantar um carro onde o mesmo será devolvido no dia 28/12 às 20h. No entanto, nas formalidades do processo, fui orientado por uma jovem senhora Rafaela a enviar um email de imediato para cancelar com a empresa onde eu havia contratado e pago o seguro no ato da reserva por sugestão da própria plataforma alegando ela que eu não teria problema com o cancelamento e devolução feita com a plataforma Carjet. De imediato incluiu um seguro direto com a Tangerine. A Carjet se negou a devolução pelos meios orientados pela atenente Rafaela. Ou seja, ela não tem conhecimento algum de causa para tal orientação, causando assim esse transtorno para todos em principal a mim, cliente. Até o momento não obtive retorno algum da Tangerine com a resolução e devolução do valor pago a eles sob a orientação da atendente. Má fé? despreparo? Irresponsabilidade da empresa em manter uma colaboradora sem conhecimento do mercado que atua? Deixo essa reflexão para os próximos clientes, para agora só me interessa a devolução do valor pago a Tangerine. Caso a empresa haja com resolução, volto aqui para atualizar.

I had a disappointing experience with this rental company. At pickup, I was required to leave a 150 deposit for the toll pass, and I was told it would be refunded upon return after calculating costs. However, when I returned the car, I was informed the refund would take 3-7 business days. Now I m being told it could take up to 30 days. This misleading information leaves a very poor impression. Terrible experience, they do not accept digital drivers licenses at all, they do not care about customers and prefer to lose customers because of a piece of paper, the year is 2024 and they have not evolved.

Cela fait 12 ans que nous louons des voitures par l intermédiaire de Auto Europe, et jamais aucun problème, la ils n ont pas voulu de notre C.Bancaire ( nous en avons présenté 3, dont une portugaise ) soit disant que se sont des CB au débit, ils n acceptent que les CB au crédit ( c est quoi ?? Connais pas !!! ) Nous laissions quand même une franchise de 1500,00 ..Par contre si nous voulons payer 600 d assurance ( pour 17 jrs ) on pouvait payer avec notre CB !! Bein voyons , des VOLEURS !!! Conclusion, nous sommes partis sans voiture !!!! Obligé de prendre taxi et le train pour arriver à notre destination...A FUIR !!!!

Unfortunately had a really bad experience here. First the seller trie to upgrade our car to a diesel and have me pay extra for that, later it turned out he actually only had the diesel, so would have to give that one anyway. Moreover, he only had one car in the category that I booked. I purposely rented a larger car because of luggage, and he gave me a fiat 500 saying its in the same category. It was the only car he had available, he said. Except, I booked a VW t-cross or similar, which is half a meter longer. He did have two of those exact cars, but one was being sold, and the other was automatic which was reason for him to charge an extra 170 for it. For the exact car that I had already payed for... But automatic. They refused to think with us, were unable to offer anything the size of that I booked, tried to take a lot of extra money out of me several times. Terrible costumer service and apparently not many cars either. Avoid this company!

Sem maiores problemas. Atendimento simpático e atencioso. Aluguei um carro por 3 semanas. logo no primeiro dia, o carro apresentou um problema na chave ao trancar. Como estava proximo à loja, levei o carro e foi trocado imediatamente por outro modelo, até melhor. De resto, ha sempre o oferecimento de seguros com coberturas e tudo mais (comum em todas as companhias) e uma cobrança mandatória pela ativação do Via Verde, o que nunca vi em outras companhias. Como o valor do aluguer era mesmo baixo, até mesmo a cobrança obrigatória desta ativação manteve o preço final atraente em comparação a outras locadoras. Alugaria novamente e recomendaria a empresa

no signs, if you re at the google maps address you need to turn right at the roundabout, right into the parking garage, then 2 floors up immediately after entering the garage. otherwise super hard to find.

I rented a VW van 7 seater from them and I made my whole family who was visiting very happy. It was extremely comfortable and I m super happy that Pedro recommended I go with the bigger van once I told him how many we were vs the smaller 7 seater Mercedes. El coche muy bien, todo lo demas regular. Reservamos por internet por autoeurope y nos dijeron que su seguro a todo riesgo, tenia cosas que no cubrian. Las opciones era contratar con tangerine directamente el seguro, 223 por 5 dias. O dejar 2500 de fianza. Hasta alli bueno, podria ser medio culpa nuestra por no enterarnos bien pero las cosas podrian ser mas claras. Por otro lado nos hicieron dejar 150 por los peajes, cosa que sabiamos, pero en el checkout nos dijeron que el detalle de los peajes gastados nos lo mandarian, 3 semanas despues, habiendo llamado 2 veces y mandado mails no hemos recibido ni la devolución ni el detalle con los peajes utilizados. Los coches muy nuevos y el personal amable, pero el proceso y todo no lo recomiendo. Bajo de dos a estrellas a 1, porque después de más de un mes de espera, me mandaron el detalle de los peajes, pero venia con sorpresa, me lo cobraron de nuevo, la atención post servicio es nefasta, no responden con rapidez y no solucionan.

There is no tangerine office at the airport. You have to find an agent in the exit area. The agent directs u to a shuttle to the office. Agent Vanessa was very helpful in the process.

Meine Erfahrung mit der Autovermietung in Portugal Ich habe die Bewertungen gelesen und war etwas besorgt, aber meine Erfahrung war insgesamt positiv. Abholung: Warten am Flughafen: Etwa 30 Minuten, aber das war okay. Abholung war einfach und die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Sie haben mir nichts aufquatschen wollen, da ich bereits eine Versicherung ohne Selbstbeteiligung gebucht hatte. Meine Kreditkarte funktionierte problemlos, weil es keine Debitkarte war. Abgabe: Ging schnell und unkompliziert. Wurde direkt zum Flughafen gefahren.

Ne prenez jamais l option de retour en dehors des heures d ouverture (option déjà payante) et vous laissez la voiture à un service de parking qui utilise la voiture, sans même faire la vérification de la voiture de fin de location. J ai été facturé après coup de dégradation alors que les dégradations étaient déjà lorsque je l ai récupéré. J avais bien pri photo et vidéo lorsque j ai pri la voiture en début de location vu qu ils ne voulaient pas ajouter tous les dégâts dans leur tablette. Ils m ont facturé des dégâts qui m ont été prélevés automatiquement. Cela fait plus de 2 mois que j envoie des mails au service de « claims » et que personne ne me répond! Au téléphone ils me disent qu il s agit d un autre service et qu il faut juste que j attende! C est un service lamentable! Je suis vraiment éc uré de ce loueur!

Travelled 1 hour across lisbon to be told they need specifically a visa credit card for the deposit. Wont accept a virtual credit card, an Amex, or 3 debits. Time wasters.

Après avoir remis la voiture le 8 octobre et payé les frais de péage débités la journée même sur mon compte, ils viennent de PRENDRE dans mon compte un 2e paiement identique au premier 2 semaines après le retour du véhicule. Selon les avis Google : je ne suis pas la première qui se fait charger 2x le même montant !

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Tangerine Car Rentals, and I would strongly advise against using their services. Over a month has passed, and I still havent received my holding deposit, despite numerous calls to their customer service team. The staff has been consistently rude and unhelpful. To make matters worse, our rental car was broken into, and although we had third-party insurance, we were unable to file a claim because Tangerine never provided us with the necessary damage report despite charging us for it. Their customer service is by far the worst I ve encountered in the car rental industry. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this company at all costs.

Habe für 10 Tage einen Mietwagen gebucht, alles lief super. Habe Vollkasko ohne SB gebucht, schon im Voraus, war alles mit drin. Über das Via Verde Gerät wurde ich auch schon im Vorfeld informiert , deshalb keine Überraschung. Abholung, Bezahlung, Abgabe hat alles super funktioniert. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Just rented a car from Tangerine at Lisbon airport for a month. It s probably the first time I have ever rented a car without feeling Scammed. Great service, friendly staff and the best rates I have ever hd renting directly.

Overall we had a good experience with Tangerine in Lisboa. You should know that you have to take a shuttle service to their location which is not super close to the airport. Staff is super friendly but the check in process is too long (we rented the car as from 14:30 and they did not want to start the check in before that time). They also obliged us to take the via verde (toll) for a cost of almost 10 EUR. The car itself was very good and clean. Check out went super smooth. So overall a good experience.

Vorsicht! Haben eine Kreditkarte, mit der wir seit Jahren auch Mietwagen buchen. Bei Tangerine wurde sie trotz Vorauszahlung mit exakt dieser Karte nicht für die Kaution akzeptiert. Natürlich hatte man sofort eine Löung für uns: einfach eine zusätzliche Versicherung über knapp 430 (zusätzlich zu den bezahlten 200 ) abschließen und das Problem wäre gelöst. Haben uns gleich bei anderen Vermietern erkundigt. Die haben unsere Karte ohne Einschränkung akzeptiert...

Very good and nice service. Car was exactly as described, shuttle service from and to the airport. Check 24 describes meeting point in the airport, actually it was right in front. Not Tangerines fault, only as a hint to German visitors booking via check 24

Experience was very bad. We booked through VIP Cars and it was very misleading. It showed that we can pay through Amex. However, at the rental station that wasn t possible. Also the person at the desk was not helpful at all. We tried to find any solution but he couldn t help us at all. We had to take a bolt now. Also the deposit is very high compared to others. So annoying!!!!!

Achtung Betrug. Ich kann von dieser Agentur nur abraten. Auch bei uns wurde die Kreditkarte nicht akzeptiert und als Ausweg eine eigene Versicherung und nicht die über Check 24 gebuchte Versicherung angeboten. Die Kosten für den Mietwagen haben sich dadurch verdoppelt. Ebenfalls wurde uns bei Abgabe versucht ein vorbestehender Schaden anzuhängen. Zudem kam der Shuttle Bus erst nach 1 Stunde Wartezeit um uns vom Flughafen abzuholen. Ich miete häufig Mietwagen, hier kann ich nur dringlich abraten.

Achtung!!! kein Auto Mieten. Trotz angedrehter Vollversicherung wird sich um nichts gekümmert. Immer nur Ausreden. Fühlen uns belogen und betrogen

Bei der Übernahme eines Mietwagens von Tangerine wird suggeriert, dass man die zahlreichen Photos zu vorhandenen Dellen und Kratzern, die mit dem IPad von einem Mitarbeiter während der Übergabe des Mietwagens gemacht werden, in Kürze per Mail erhalten wird. Dem ist allerdings nicht so. Auch auf mehrmaliges Nachfragen bekommt man keine Mail! Daher bei Übergabe sorgfältig selbst alles per Handy dokumentieren!

Don t book with this company of scammers. They are trained to rip you off and then they pretend to be stupid. I recommend Klass Wagen, they re one of the best. Skip tangerine. We were told that if we paid for the insurance, the transponder would be free. They still charged my credit card for the transponder. I was told I would get a refund in 10 days. Even when dropping off the car, I asked again and the guy assured me it would get refunded. It has been over 10 days, and I ve been trying to get in touch with them. They keep talking about pre-authorization but this was a posted transaction. So I need to be refunded. I ve sent them pictures of my bank stating showing the transponder charge and they are pretending not to understand what I am saying. It would be easier if I could explain the situation on the phone since maybe things are getting lost in translation but: 1) There is no way to call claims department, can only be via email 2) The customer service line is not helpful at all. They literally just say Only claims can help you with this sorry 3) Apparently only 1 person works in claims department, so if she s sick, good luck getting help or hearing from anybody. You guys will be hearing from bank for this fraud. Like I said, if you need a rental company in Portugal book with Klass Wagen! Don t bother to try Tangerine who doesn t value their customers.

Langes Warten auf den Shuttle, Auto war bei Ankunft noch nicht da und musste erst gesaugt und gewaschen werden. Für die Abfertigung haben wir 1,5 Stunden gebraucht. Das Fahrzeug hatte 22 dokumentierte Schäden, die wir dann durch eigene Hinweise an die Mitarbeiter bei der Abnahme auf 24 ergänzt haben. Tank war nicht so voll, wie als ich das Auto wieder aufgetankt habe. Bei der Rückgabe lief es besser und schneller, aber auch nur, weil wir dieselbe Dame wie bei der Abholung vor uns hatten, die gefühlt die einzige schnelle Mitarbeiterin hier ist.

Plutôt une mauvaise expérience avec cette agence de location de voiture, amis français attention car bien évidemment que je navais pas de CB crédit et la personne deja cité dans les avis négatif n a rien voulu savoir et a même voulu me facturer 55 car il ferme lagence a 20h.jai du valider la location car pas le choix mais avec un supplément dassurance de Plus de 500 pour les 14 j, pas évident pour le premier de vacances

Not good when we had to switch cars as not enough space in first car. We were soaked cost wise paying 2/3 times the normal cost. The second cost us EUR 1400 - ridiculous. Additionally they open at 8am and are not at the airport - which is close but if your flight is at 10am or before you have pay for out of hours to feel secure about check in and Lisbon airport is small and chaotic with the passenger traffic it handles. Be wary of using Tangerine.

Je ne recommande vraiment pas cette compagnie de location. Pour la prise en charge, une navette est venue nous chercher à laéroport, jusque là tout va bien. Rendu à leur local, nous avons attendu 2 heures pour la prise en charge de la voiture. Enfin notre tour... lemployé nous dit que la voiture que nous devions avoir est arrivé le matin même endommagé. Aucune option vraiment nous est proposé. Aucune voiture automatique est disponible pour nous. Nous devons aller en Algarve. Nous avons dû prendre une voiture manuelle pour conduire jusquau local de Tangerine à Faro afin de pouvoir avoir une voiture automatique, qui était à 1h00 de notre destination.

Bonjour, J étais septique en lisant les commentaires et après une expérience je peux vous dire que ce sont des gros voleurs, Il accepte la carte bancaire lors de la réservation sur le site et puis quand vous arrivez sur place avec votre carte bancaire ainsi que votre pièce d identité française c est un tout autre discour qui vous attend d après leur dire, les carte bancaires française sont des cartes de débit donc il ne peuvent pas prendre la caution dessus et il vous propose de maintenir la location en rajoutant 400 euros pour ne pas avoir de caution à donner. Bref, leurs discours est tout prêt et il on l habitude de voler .. vous pourrez dire au revoir au premier paiement que vous avez fait via le site car il ne rembourse pas !!! Merci tangerine de m avoir faire perdre 2 jours de vacances à chercher une location ailleurs

I had to rent a van for two months (through insurance) from this company. Everything was very transparent and the support was excellent. I recommend it.

Worst renting experience ever!! Avoid at all costs they are escrows. We had already prepaid the rental with carthrawlers including insurance but at the pick-up they told us that no revolut or debit card were accepted and this was written nowhere. They then forced us to take their additional full coverage insurance that cost us 500 on top. They basically took us in hostage: either you pay the additional full insurance or you dont get the car and lose all your pre-payment. This is a low cost renting agency with low cost company policies that try to screw you up. I will never book with them again and my advice is to avoid them at all costs. If there was a rating with 0 star existing I would give them a big 0.

Upon arrival at Tangerine I was initially asked what time I would need to drop the car off when returning it. As we had a flight to catch I said it would be 7am. I was told that they would not be open at 7am, and as they had no key safe (as all other car hire companies do), I was told I had to pay them 55Euro to have someone available to receive the car and provide the shuttle service service to the airport. After that, I was told that I had to pay another 27Euro for the hire of the gadet to automate the Toll payment. I have never had to pay separately for this before. I was then told that optionally I could pay them 138Euro as insurance for if the car broke down and I needed to be recovered! This is outrageous, and I declined - despite the hardsell and the waring that if I did break down I would have to cover the cost of well over 150 Euro. These are all complete scams designed to bump up the cost. The car I was given was filthy and was covered in scratches and dings - I had to spend at least 30 minutes with a member of their staff to catalogue and agree every single scratch and scrape! I was then told I would receive a copy of the contract and vehicle condition report by email. I have yet to receive anything from them, despite having sent at least two emails asking for the docs. I have attached a photo of the note that the Tangerine guy wrote out to try and explain all of the additional extra charges! A very frustrating experience - I will never use Tangerine again

Worst car rental place we have ever rented from. Almost 3 hours from waiting at the airport to actually getting a car. So unorganized!!!! Should have researched this company more. Would not recommend to rent from here.

If you want the worst experience in a Renato agency come here, you ll be welcomed by a shuffle leaving when you arrive, agressive staff only trying to sell you expensive insurance and cars in bad conditions. Very minimum communication about the rules (credit card if you don t want their insurance). Hope not to get scammed and attracted by their prices. Better go to the competitors for sure.

1 Stern ist viel zu viel , das ist die Schlechteste Services die ich je in meinem Leben erlebt habe . Unsere Autoreife ist platt und im Kofferraum sind nicht mal die vollständigen Sachen um den Reifen zu wechseln, wir stehen hier in der Sonne bei 34 grad und warten seit 9 Uhr morgens und jetzt ist 14:30 Uhr und keiner kann uns helfen , die haben uns am Telefon jedes mal gesagt dass die in 5 min bei uns sind . Von 5 min sind jetzt 6 Stunden geworden . Einer leitet und zu dem anderen weiter , wir stehen hier hilflos , ich will garnicht wissen wie hoch unsere Rechnung am Ende wird , weil wir jedes mal die Notrufnummer anrufen müssen.hinzu kommt das die mittlerweile die nummer kennen da wir permanent anrufen und mit Absicht nicht mehr ran gehen. Probleme haben schon ganz am Anfang bei der Abholung vom Mietwagen angefangen, weil wir über Check24 gebucht haben , und vor Ort hieß es wir haben keine Versicherung. Weil wir 3 Stunden diskutieren müssten, haben am Ende doch neuen Vertrag mit Versicherung abgeschlossen, weil uns kein anderer Wahl geblieben ist , das war der große Fehler und Entscheidung den wir getroffen haben, wir haben umsonst das Geld bezahlt im Endeffekt bring das sowieso nichts , wir stehen hier und wissen nicht mehr was wir machen können. Bitte haltet euch fern von dieser mietwaagengeselschaft .

1. Lange Wartezeit: die Wartezeit bei der Abholung des Fahrzeug war unangemessen lang. Trotz vorheriger Reservierung musste ich deutlich länger als erwartet auf die Abwicklung warte was zu einer unnötigen Verzögerung führte 2. Zusatzkosten bei der Versicherung: bei der Abholung des Fahrzeug wurde mir mitgeteilt dass zusätzlich Kosten für die Versicherung anfallen bzw das die wir angeblich über check24 keine Versicherung abgeschlossen haben als wir dann die Dokumente rausholten und selbst diese schwarz auf weiß hinterlegt worden sind war keine Einsicht zu sehen als wir dann mit der Hotline von check 24 Angerufen haben war auch keiner der Mitarbeiter bereit mit ihm zu sprechen auch in der Hinsicht relativ unfreundlich nach knapp 3 Stunden hin und her (mit Wartezeit) mussten wir weil wir unter Zeitdruck standen einen neuen vertrag abschließen 3.Schlechte Pannenhilfe: leider musste ich während meines Aufenthalts denn pannenservice in Anspruch nehmen die Reaktionszeit und der Service war unter aller sau die Kommunikation war unklar und die Lösung des Problems zog sich unnötig in die Länge was zu noch mehr Unannehmlichkeiten geführt hat in Summe waren es knapp 9 Stunden vom ersten Kontakt bis zur endgültige Problemlösung und das alles wegen eines Platten Reifen....Mechaniker (der kein englisch sprach)hat uns am ende nur der notreifen aufgezogen was man auch selber machen kann wenn da nicht das nötige Equipment im Waagen fehlen würde(Kurbel für waagenheber fehlte) auch der Kundenservice bzw die Autovermietung in faro war grausam und wegen der langenwartzeit kannte man anscheinend meine nummer und man hat mich absichtlich ignoriert 4.Schlechte Kommunikation untereinander: Abholung lissabon Abgabe faro.. Mitarbeiter in lissabon sagte uns wir müssen den Waagen bei der Autovermietung wieder zurück gegeben (büro bzw Autovermietung ca 5-10min außerhalb vom Flughafen das wusste leider der Mitarbeiter nicht bis ihn darauf aufmerksam gemacht habe und er es selber google musste) als wir dann die kleine Panne hatten mussten wir mit dem notreifen über 80km nach faro fahren dort wurde uns ein andere Abgabe Ort mitgeteilt ich möchte ungern wissen was passiert wäre wenn wir um 6 Uhr morgens dort gestanden hätten und keiner dort wäre Und einige andere Kleinigkeiten kamen noch hinzu soll jetzt auch mal genug sein Aktuell sind wir noch im Urlaub bin mal gespannt was noch auf einem zu kommt alles in allem sehr enttäuschent und 1 Stern ist meiner meinung nach schon zu viel

Ich habe im Juli 2024 bei Tangerine Rent in Portugal einen Fiat 500 gemietet und die Vollkaskoversicherung über Check24 abgeschlossen. Leider wurde mir bei der Abholung des Fahrzeugs vom Mitarbeiter vor Ort mitgeteilt, dass diese Versicherung angeblich nutzlos sei. Es wurde mir erklärt, dass ich im Schadensfall selbst einen Gutachter organisieren müsste, sonst würde ich keinen Cent erstattet bekommen. Das klingt nach einer bewussten Täuschung, um den Kunden zu verunsichern und ihnen vor Ort eine zusätzliche Versicherung aufzudrängen. Dieses Verhalten ist für mich absolut inakzeptabel. Bereits im Vorjahr hatte ich eine ähnliche Erfahrung mit dieser Firma, aber diesmal wurde mir endgültig klar, dass hier systematisch versucht wird, den Kunden zusätzliche Kosten aufzuzwingen. Ich musste gezwungenermaßen erneut 228,00 für eine weitere Versicherung zahlen, obwohl ich bereits über Check24 abgesichert war. Das Auto kostet nur 206,00 inkl. VOLLKASKO!!!! Ich rate dringend davon ab, bei Tangerine Rent zu mieten, wenn ihr nicht bereit seid, euch auf solche Spielchen einzulassen. Kundenfreundlichkeit und Transparenz scheinen bei dieser Firma Fremdwörter zu sein. Nie wieder!

Apesar de ter feito a reserva com três meses de antecedência, não havia o carro da categoria que solicitei no momento da retirada. Eu precisava de um carro com porta malas grande e me disseram que apenas teriam um carro menor. As malas precisaram ficar no banco de trás, o que é no mínimo perigoso. Além disso, para devolução aparece que será no aeroporto, porém fica fora do aeroporto e necessita de transfer.

2 horas para levantar um carro com reserva. Apenas 1 pessoa a atender (atenção que a culpa não é dela.... ela estava a fazer o que conseguia). Eram tantas pessoas para levantar carros que nem espaço havia dentro da sala. Exageram ao tentar impingir seguro contra todos às pessoas.

Leider gar nicht zu empfehlen! Wir haben eine ganz normale Kreditkarte hinterlegt und diese wurde dann warum auch immer vor Ort nicht akzeptiert. Sodass wir vor Ort eine extra Versicherung abschließen mussten! Diese waren 377,50 für 5 Tage Auto! Das ist echt eine Unverschämtheit!

Une réelle arnaque à l assurance, un conseil : passez votre chemin !! Ce n est pas une, mais 0 étoile. Nous sommes accueillis dans une agence située en sous sol, par un commercial qui n a qu un seul objectif : vous vendre une assurance. Nous avons opté pour une franchise de 400 (sous forme de caution) Le loueur fait un tour de véhicule dans l obscurité le jour de la remise, ensemble nous mettons en évidence les rayures déjà présentes sur le véhicule, des photos sont réalisés à leur niveau. Au bout du compte, au moment de rendre le véhicule, nous sommes rendus coupables d une rayure déjà identifiée avec le loueur au jour de la remise, nous refusons de l entendre et demandons à ce que la personne en charge de l état des lieux se présente pour confirmer la chose (un homme crâne rasé), ce dernier ne veut rien entendre, l agence nous informe que nous allons être prélevé des 400 pris en caution et qu il convient de contacter notre assurance (carte gold) afin d obtenir un remboursement, ce dernier nous précise même de ne pas nous inquiéter car nous allons être remboursés sans aucun problème et nous joins les documents nécessaires à remettre à l assureur. Il s agit tout bonnement d une arnaque à l assurance, ce genre d établissement doit être dénoncé, c est inadmissible !

Expérience très décevante, lemployé non qualifié a dû imprimer 5 fois le contrat, des coûts ajoutés non précisés lors du paiement sur internet (cest limite du vol, leur one-way a +100 , 50 pour rendre la voiture à 4:30 alors quil ny a personne). Une voiture qui a 9000km mais qui sent mauvais et avec des impacts partout autour du véhicule.... Etat des lieux fait dans un garage sans luminosité. Au retour on me facture 130 un impact très minime sur la jante (image) que je nai pas fait, mais ils ne veulent rien entendre. Ce sont des voleurs, à fuir !!!! Je nai jamais vu ça. 1 étoile, mais ça en vaut 0.

Dont use this rent a car. I sent an email with some normal questions if they had a car that would fit my needs. Asking if the car would have GPS, full insurance. They reply with the price... I was ignored. And not saying that I thought I was talking with a robot by email when I figure it out is just someone with a really poor English, and incompetent!

Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing, and I will never do business with them again, nor will I recommend their services to anyone. The issues began right at the airport. I was instructed to meet their representative by the Vodafone shop so I could be taken to the rental location. After waiting for half an hour without any sign of them, I had to ask other rental companies nearby if they knew where Tangerine s staff were. I was finally informed that they were outside the whole time. When I eventually found someone from Tangerine Rental, they showed no interest in hearing me out and simply directed me to wait at a bus stop. Just to be clear, I communicated with them in Portuguese to ensure there was no language barrier. Once we arrived at the rental office, I was offered a car in the category I had booked. However, I was then given an ultimatum: either leave a 2500 Euro deposit or purchase their comprehensive cover, which cost nearly 500 Euros more than double the cost of the car rental itself, which was just over 200 Euros for two weeks. Given that they charge 200 Euros per scratch, I had no real choice but to accept their terms. As someone who visits Portugal every year and rents a car regularly, I have never encountered anything like this in the past 20 years. I was given a Fiat 500X and set off, but I immediately noticed that the car struggled to drive up a hill. While I could overlook that, what I couldn t ignore was that within just 20 kilometres, the fuel gauge dropped from full to nearly a quarter tank. Clearly, something was wrong, so I returned the car the following day. When I explained the situation, the staff member kept repeating, That s not normal, as if implying that I was exaggerating. Despite this, they eventually provided me with another car of the same make, model, and colour. Yet, after driving just 7 kilometres, the fuel gauge dropped by a quarter tank again. I returned to the rental office, where I was met with clear frustration from the staff. They finally acknowledged the issue and offered me a different car, a petrol Volkswagen T-Cross, as they had no diesel options available. This, of course, meant I ended up spending significantly more on fuel. Throughout all this, not once did I receive an apology. On the day of my return, at 4:20 am, I arrived to drop off the car. Although the rental office was closed, a staff member was present to collect the car. I was ready to be taken to the airport, only to be informed that his superior had instructed him not to provide me with a ride, as it was not their problem. Despite my explaining that I was unfamiliar with the area and unsure how to get to the airport, they were completely uninterested and simply told me to find a taxi. This left me walking along a main road in the early hours of the morning with heavy luggage, nearly missing my flight due to Tangerine Rental s lack of basic customer care. It s clear to me that Tangerine Rental no longer prioritises customer service. I will certainly never rent from them again and will be sure to avoid any other companies within their group.

Feels like a scam. There is a lot of hidden costs (like auto toll/ via Verde activation 19). Also feels like they are trying to make money on penalties; the smallest scratch or chip qualifies for penalty. They make you buy theirs own deposit insurance that is 3-4 times more than actual rental. Credit card deposit is ridiculously high. Recommend buying a yearly deposit insurance from decent insurance provider to avoid buying Tangerine s rip off deposit insurance .

Pior experiência que tive com rent-a-cars foi com esta! Quando fiz o aluguer da minha viatura de substituição foi-me questionado se queria ativar o serviço da via verde, ao qual eu respondi que NÃO. Quando me foi devolvida a caução foi-me cobrado automaticamente cerca de 15 da minha conta, porque ao passar em SCUTS (que são cobradas através da matrícula do carro) ativou automaticamente o serviço da via verde sem eu ter dado autorização! Devia ter sido retirado o aparelho da via verde!!! Nada disto me foi informado, apenas limitaram-se a cobrar e pronto. Pedi a entidade e referência para fazer o pagamento apenas das SCUTS ao qual me foi recusado! NÃO ACONSELHO

Maybe the experience of renting a car is fine. I made a reservation which I canceled a week in advance and was told I would get a refund. It has now been two months and nobody will respond to me from their claims department. Whenever I called the team reassure me that I will get my money back, but it doesn t seem likely at this point. Avoid!

Está é a segunda vez que uso esta companhia e sou sempre bem atendida, o staff é simpático e sempre disponível para ajudar. Uma das coisas que mais gosto é estar perto da ponte Vasco da Gama o que ajuda aos acessos tanto para norte como para Sul de Portugal. De certeza que irei usar novamente

We are a family of four with a lot of luggage. First we had to wait almost an hour for the shuttle and when we finally arrived the car rental there were ONE man at work and maybe 25 people waiting for car. In addition there were customers coming to deliver cars and the one employee had to help them. From the time we arrived til we gave up (almost an hour) there were NO progress in the line of people waiting. It was the same customer sitting in the customers seat waiting for his preordered and prepaid car to rent. We gave up and took an Über.

The experience was fine, but I waited 40 mins in the airport for a transfer to the pickup location and a further 2 hours at the actual pickup spot to get my car. I suspect it was because it was a Saturday afternoon which is probably peak time for pick ups, but it means you lose half a day really. Staff were nice and don t try to upsell, just be prepared to wait. No issues returning the car this was much faster.

Thanks to Bruno everything was amazing and smooth. The car was a brand new, they provided me with a hybrid one that gave me an awesome visit thru the city.

We easily exchanged our car here, due to some issues with the first rental car. Great help, easy and no fuss.

À FUIR à FUIR à FUIR absolument !!!! cest de larnaque, il faut absolument une carte de crédit et non débit pour te forcer à prendre leur assurance hors de prix, au final nous navons pas eu de voiture de location et mis à ma porte à 23h le soir avec nos 2 enfants sans pitié aucune empathie !!!

Très mauvaise expérience. Tout d abord l agence n est pas dans l aéroport. Prévoir 5-10 minutes de voiture + le temps d attente que la navette vienne vous chercher. Une fois sur place, une armada de personnel est présent mais 1 seul travail. Puis vient le moment de l assurance où il vous l impose. Ils évoquent que les cartes de crédit françaises sont des cartes de débit. Ils ne peuvent pas prendre de caution. C est une arnaque ou une escroquerie comme vous voulez. Je loue régulièrement des voitures et je ne passerai plus par cette marque !

Big WARNING! scam company. Rent a car at the airport instead. Tangerine is 15 minutes away, but we had to wait an hour for our shuttle from the airport. (Very friendly drivers) They do not take regular debit Visa or American Express. Deposit is 3000. Stay away.

Hele slechte service, we konden de borg niet betalen door een fout van hun waardoor we extra geld moesten betalen wat we niet terug kregen, we hebben 2 uur gedaan over het ophalen van een auto die we niet hebben gereserveerd waardoor we te laat waren op de locatie waar we moesten zijn, weg brengen was wel fijn dachten we maar de chauffeur was de hele rit aan het bellen en zodra we begonnen te praten zette hij de muziek harder en als we stopte weer zachter. De chauffeur wist niet naar welke terminal we moesten omdat hij de hele rit aan het bellen was. Wat een slechte tent dit hè.

Après avoir lu de nombreux avis très négatifs, jétais prêt à annuler ma réservation. Au final tout cest bien passé jusque-là. Effectivement lagence nest pas à laéroport mais à 2 arrêts de métro ou bien une navette tourne en continue entre laéroport et lagence. Donc oui il vous faudra probablement attendre que le chauffeur arrive. Ensuite, avec une carte de débit, attendez-vous à devoir prendre une assurance obligatoire. Moi 70 euros pour 2 jours. Vu le prix de base de la voiture, 55 euros pour 2 jours, il faut bien que lagence se rémunère. Ensuite, comme dans chaque agence, prenez bien en photo la voiture. Avec lassurance, normalement vous ne pouvez pas être ennuyé Pour ce qui est de lautoroute, lagence va vous vendre une location de badge lina verde à 25 euros, et vous prendre une caution de 150 euros. Les frais dautoroute et de badge sont déduis de ce montant. Le remboursement doit normalement se faire sous 3 semaines. On verra bien. En conclusion, cest pas si mal que ça à première vue.

Aussi bien a laller quau retour du vehicule tout a été assez compliqué. Malgre une reservation via la plateforme BSP, nous avons attendu facilement 30 minutes à lagence avant detre pris en charge par un interlocuteur. Il etait tres aimable et surtout parlait parfaitement anglais. Cependant, il faut faire tres attention car le systeme de caution ne fonctionne pas sur des carte de debit francais, il faut imperativement avoir une carte de credit sinon vous devrez payer une assurance (dont les prix sont faramineux). Au retour, jai du negocier severement pour que la navette nous ramene a laeroport . Bref je ne recommande pas du tout

SCAM ALERT their staff Miguel refused to check the car with us before we took it. He used my e-signature from payment and put it on a damage report without my approval first. Then I returned the car, I got blamed for a damage that he failed to report in the first place. They said I will be charged 700 but my bank statement showed 900. Fraud and deception all in one go. Also, the situation was poorly handled by their own supervisor, who didn t attempt to investigate further. Never again. Sadly, I was a loyal customer but this morning was very challenging and will no longer trust this company. When we picked up the car and agreed to the 2k deposit. We noticed everyone got served paperwork that shows previous damages but they didn t serve us any nor did they walk around the car to check for damages with us. I asked him Miguel why and he said he had already checked it prior to us arriving, according to him it s already in the system . NEVERRRR TRUST what they say. make sure they do it in front of your face with the paper in their hand and sign together. This is COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE on their part. We recorded a video of the car prior to driving it. There were already damages. We returned the car, they said there s a damage that s not registered in the system , because of this we have to pay 700 euros. We showed them a video showing the scratch but because the lighting in the garage was bad, they said they couldn t see it in the video. Although it is visible. Another thing, in the email pdf they included the damages from previous rental and combined it with the order summary. I never signed off on the damages but their system automatically took my e-signature and put it on the same document. ILLEGAL Do yourself a favor and be aware. There was no understanding, no empathy from this team. Terrible experience. This is extremely extremely upsetting.

It was around midnight, our flight was delayed and we had to wait at the lost and found counter (because we lost something). Furthermore, to make things worse, due to a change in the reservation made by Cartrawler we didn t even have to be at Tangerine Rent. Despite all this, the service provided to us by Tangerine Rent was stellar, she was very helpful and she even offered to bring us to the other rental company. Thank you very much!

Absolutely horrible experience, would not recommend to anyone. Reserved and paid for a car online, took about an hour and a half for them to even help us, and then another hour of just waiting for them to check the car for scratches before we could leave. Blows my mind that even with paying for the reservation in advance it still took 2.5 hours to pick up the car. They also of course had plenty of hidden fees they charged upon pickup. Avoid at all costs!!

After a two hour flight we were tiered we head to the company with a very sweet driver but here is the beginning of the horror we waited 2 hours because they took at least 20 minutes per clients for sell them tonnes of assurances who most of them are useless. Anyway don t go her if you are impulsive because you re gonna hit the employee.

PÉSIMO! La peor agencia de alquiler de coches que he utilizado en mi vida. Tengo costumbre de alquilar coches constantemente por todo el mundo y os puedo decir que será difícil encontrar una agencia tan mala como esta. Estuvimos 2 horas para recoger el coche y solo teníamos 5 personas delante. Se tardan mucho en la gestión e intentando convencer al cliente que tienes que hacer algún tipo de upgrade con la reserva inicial, me parece bien porque es una manera que tienen de ganar dinero pero no al punto de tardar tanto y usar artimañas. En la entrega también intentaron colarnos un supuesto rayón que realmente era suciedad en fin. PÉSIMO!

Overall a good company to rent a car from in Portugal. High quality vehicles and pleasant employees. Had an issue with negligence damage and was able to get it sorted quickly. The final invoice overcharged me for the damage but after emailing claims department they issued a refund. Would recommend this to others renting in Portugal!

Très mauvaise expérience.... Voiture neuve mais lagence nest pas proche de laéroport. Il faut attendre une navette et un trajet de 20mns. Au moment de la réception du véhicule nous avons rencontré du personnel pas très professionnel et surtout pas trop à lécoute...le prix nétait plus le même quà la réservation. Apparemment cest leur commission....et le retour à 3h du matin pourtant bien mentionné dans le contrat et vu avec la personne...Et là personne, nous avons attendu plus d1 heure..nous avons dû laisser la voiture ouverte dans le parking avec les clés dans la boîte à gants + 1 mot sous la porte de leurs bureaux car pas de boîte aux lettres... Donc pas de fiche pour la restitution..surtout prendre des photos... Totalement incompétent.. A FUIR...

Hatten über check24 gebucht. Abholung und Rückgabe haben problemlos geklappt. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und es wurden keine Zusatzversicherungen abgedreht. Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Flughafen. Das sollte man beachten. Unser Wagen hatte viele Kratzer und Beulen, daher bei Abholung genau prüfen und dokumentieren.

We picked up a VW T-Cross that we booked through CHECK24. We made two changes to our booking (pick up times and main driver), both were correctly processed by Tangerine, so props for that. You will need a real credit card (debit card does not work according to Tangerine). Returning the Car was super easy and quick without any issues. The only negative point: We had to pay an extra 25 for an electronic toll device (this was explained in the contract that we received beforehand though).

Perfect....I highly recommend it...the staff were very helpful...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT....I didnt have any problems at all......I rented the car for 15 days, went from Lisbon to Spain and back...I returned the car, everything was fine and without any surprises...it took 4 days to refund the deposit...I received everything back...congratulations to Tângerine

By far the worst ever experience. Keep away from using their service. Unprofessional and unaccountable. I booked a car months ahead of my arrival with my family on the 29th of May, including 2 child seats. To my surprise, they didnt have any child seats on collection and all they offered was an apology. There was no sympathy towards the situation: stuck abroad late in the evening with 2 toddlers and no way to reach our destination. Other company would have tried to honour the booking by renting the toddler seat from a different rental company but they just preferred to take no responsibility at all. I ended up having to rent a car with a different provider at twice the original cost due to the last minute booking and arriving to our destination in the early hours of the morning.

Horrendous experience. Wait for a minibus, long check in process to be told there were no baby car seats which we booked months in advance. We were left waiting until late in the evening with 2 young toddlers. Back and forth, no accountability, no apology. Told to call a number who just said nothing we can do to help. Woops. We were just sent back to the airport to find a different company which cost us twice the amount on the day, with hours waiting. We had no choice with 2 babies who had been awake and travelling since 10am. No compensation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They are slow as hell, took 1,5hour to handle over the car, charged extra insurance fee on me which is the 3x that the price i just rented the car.

Unprofessional, slow, chargedme Euro 900 for cracked windshield. Never again. Stay away!!!! They gave me a faulty cat with low oil warning. Low tire pressure warning. Horrible experience. The place is very far from the airport. We waited 45 minutes to get shuttle. They only drop off at the arrivals, you have to take airport bus to the terminal. What a time waters. Bunch of kids.

Un seul conseil pour les français qui réservent: une énorme arnaque! Nous avons loué une voiture, heureusement nous avions pris des photos de toute la voiture . Au retour ils essaient de nous faire porter le chapeau sur des rayures sur la Carrosserie. Sans les photos c était mort! Nous payons les différentes factures et là notre carte bleue ne passe pas . Ils nous sortent un ticket d abandon. J essaie de repayer en sans contact. Échec encore avec ticket d abandon. Mon mari sort sa carte idem. Bref au final malgré les tickets d abandon 3 prélèvements frauduleux. Ma banque nous parle d arnaque . Deux mois plus tard nous n avons toujours pas récupéré la caution pour le péage. Un seul conseil: agence à fuire de toute urgence. Je ne vous parle pas des différentes assurances qu ils essaient de vous vendre à l arrivée alors que nous avions pris l assurance complète au départ. Ce sont des voleurs! Un seul conseil: n y allez pas!

Informações enganosas para pegar mais dinheiro dos clientes!

Nous avons louer une Fiat 500C cabrio pour notre voyage au Portugal dune duré de 2 semaines et tout cest super bien passé avec tangerine. La navette entre laéroport et le centre de location était à lheure, moins de 10 minutes dattente. Lauto était en super bonne condition, le check in et le check out se sont très bien fait et le personnel était très sympathique. Ils doivent faire une pré-autorisation sur votre carte de crédit lorsque vous avez une assurance indépendante de la leur, ce qui est normal. De notre côté, il ny avait pas de dommage à la voiture lorsque nous lavons rapporté, donc il nous ont remboursé la totalité du dépôt de sécurité en moins dune semaine. Je recommande fortement.

Worst service ever & scam. It took 3h from arrivals to getting keys. Office is not on the airport. 30 min to wait for transport. 15 min transport. Line took around 2h 15 min consisting of 5-6 people. Everyone was upset with misinformation given by the company. We had to pay an additional ~150 euro of insurance even though we booked through Ryanair and it was supposed to be covered already. Terrible. Terrible.

The customer service is not responsive! We rented a car from Lisbon, but we had an delay with our flight. The company Tangerine PROMISED to pick us up after working hours because we were arriving late to the airport. They said, they will contact us to confirm pick up hour and they never did it. We waited for the company almost 2 hours in the cold...we finally passed the night at the airport with our family (losing the first night of our hotel). ...Tired the day after, we finally got the cars we rented, but we had to pay extra due to an additional driver (when the minimum was to make us an offer as it was their communication fault). Not sure if I can recommend them. :( Probably if you arrive by day....but do not take the risk if your flight arrives in the evening or night.

Siamo arrivati all aeroporto di Lisbona dove ci aspettava una incaricata della Tangerine rent car che immediatamente ha chiamato in sede e nel giro di pochi minuti siamo stati recuperati da uno shuttle con alla guida un simpatico ragazzo mozambicano che ci ha portato in sede per il ritiro auto . Servizio tempestivo che ci ha soddisfatto ( 4 persone)

Absolut ok. Der Transfer hierher klappte wunderbar. Am Anreisetag war es ein bisschen zeitaufwendig, es wurde uns ein anderes Auto angeboten, ebenso eine andere Versicherung, wir blieben bei dem Fahrzeug dass wir über Check24 gebucht haben, somit hat es dann gepasst.

Awful place, don t rent there. They don t accept anything but credit cards for the deposit, even if you already paid for things, and then charge your car repeatedly for undisclosed things. Impossible to get the money back. A seemingly affordable rental ends up being a disaster of an expense. Rude and unhelpful staff on top of that.

UNE BELLE ARNAQUE FUYEZ cette agence de location qui ne veulent prendre que votre argent !!! pour une offre de départ sur BSP Auto à 86e/ voiture (2 véhicules loués car nous étions 8) nous avons fini par payer 305e/voiture. (un budget de vacances amputé de 610e) Au début refus du loueur du permis de mon mari car soit-disant la date de validité était passée, hors il sagissait des permis poids lourds malgré nos explications il refuse.... donc obligé changement du nom de locataire nous prenons mon fils, le monsieur qui soccupait de nous se tire car il a fini sa journée sans dire aurevoir sans explication, une blague, une autre arrive et à nouveau un refus car cette fois mon fils a une CB à débit non crédit donc on nous impose une assurance à 305e une arnaque sans nom !!! (ce qui aura aussi lieu pour le second véhicule). cette 2ème personne part elle aussi cest la pause, une 3ème prend le relais, nous venons de passer 3h00 dans cette agence nous sommes bien obligé de céder nous voulons partir et commencer nos vacances.... Par contre aucun problème de prendre votre carte Débit pour les péages UNE HONTE. Malgré mes appels dans la semaine pour contester le refus du permis de mon mari on nous a baladé, on nous rapelle jamais, on traîne et bien-sûr le compte débité vous ne pouvez plus faire grand chose..... plus jamais Tangerine

0 sterren geven is niet mogelijk. Maar wel het geval. Een auto met 1 kinder zitje en een babyzitje gereserveerd. Babyzitje is niet op voorraad. (Staan hier met meerdere stellen met babys).Ik moet nu van hun 1.5 uur met een baby in mn armen rijden en maar zelf een stoeltje gaan kopen/aanschaffen. Zijn hiermee ruim 1.5 uur bezig geweest. Andere service of oplossing wordt er niet aangeboden. Service is echt om te janken.

We arrived in Lisbon after a long flight, exhausted and at our wits end. Bruno was so kind, patient, and helped us with every aspect of the process. Our car was great, the service was great and we are just so glad that we went with Tangerine. We even had a complication where we didnt realize we had rented through a third party, but there were no hiccups with the insurance etc. Im not sure about the poor reviews, but we did not get scammed or anything like that. We had nothing but wonderful care from the folks there - especially Bruno. 10/10 we would rent from them again.

Sehr netter Service, typisch portugiesisch keine Hektik aber im Endeffekt hat die Übergabe 20 Minuten gedauert. Wie andere bereits geschrieben haben muss man das Mautpaket für 1,60 am Tag dazubuchen, was im Vorhinein nicht kommuniziert wurde, aber prinzipiell ist es ein fairer Preis für den Komfort und den ersparten Aufwand für den Vermieter die Maut einzutreiben. Uns wurde zwar eine Versicherung angeboten, um die Selbstbeteiligung zu umgehen aber nicht aufdringlich. Dass es nicht mit Debitkarten funktioniert ist zwar komisch aber wurde zumindest vorher kommuniziert.

Vor Ort wird versucht viele Versicherungen anzudrehen. Bei den über Check 24 bereits gebuchten Versicherungen wird auf ahnungslos gespielt. Wir haben alles abgelehnt, müssten am Ende aber 9 /Tag anstelle von 2 /Tag für das elektronische Mautgerät bezahlt. Wurde als Superroad Assistence Fee abgerechnet. Am Ende sollte man bei den günstigen Preisen skeptisch. Der tatsächliche Preis ist höher. Auto war aber sauber und lief gut. Deswegen 2 anstatt 1 Stern. Nächstes Mal einen teueren Anbieter um den Ärger vor Ort zu vermeiden.

Ich habe die negativen Kommentare zuvor gelesen und war entsprechend vorbereitet. Ich Endeffekt kann ich überhaupt nichts negatives über diese Autovermietung sagen. - Der Transfer vom Flughafen klappte problemlos und schnell. - Es gab keine Wartezeit beim Abholen und bei der Abgabe. - Es gab einen gut ausgestatteten ziemlich neuen Ford Focus SW ST (ca. 25000km) entsprechend der gebuchten Kombi Klasse. - Bei der Übergabe und Rücknahme des Fahrzeugs wurde dies intensiv begutachtet. Das kann ich aber auch nachvollziehen. Die Autos kosten ja auch Geld für das Unternehmen. Es war aber keinesfalls unfair dem Kunden gegenüber. - Die Kreditkarte (in meinem Fall eine Bank Norwegian Kreditkarte) wurde wie vereinbart mit 2500 Kaution belastet. Das hat aber ohne Probleme geklappt. - Versicherungen wurden nicht aufgedrängt. - Der Kontakt war nett und hilfsbereit. - Bei der Rückgabe habe ich auf Nachfrage eine Bestätigung (keine neuen Schäden und Tank voll) erhalten. - Die Kaution wurde innerhalb von einer Stunde nach der Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs auf der Kreditkarte wieder freigegeben. - Von den zusätzlichen 150 Kaution wurde der Mautbetrag einbehalten und der Rest direkt nach der Rückgabe zurück überwiesen. - Tatsächlich habe auch ich ca. 20 zusätzlich für die Elektronische Mauterfassung bezahlt. Dies fand ich in Anbetracht der günstigen Anmietung aber vollkommen in Ordnung und auf den Autobahnen auch praktisch. Tangerine - gerne wieder!

Sehr sehr schlechte Anbieter, die nur von Versicherung und Unfall Meldungen Geld verdienen. Die sind nicht ohne Grund zu günstig. Ich würde jedem abraten und falls ihr schon gebucht habt, fotografiere jede Kratzer und sei sicher dass ihr gute Versicherung habt. Aber an erste Stelle sucht euch ein anderen Anbieter.

Staff were friendly and the car was fine. They would not let me use my Amex credit card as a security deposit. This makes no sense. They said no other company in Portugal accepts Amex which is a lie as both Europcar and Enterprise do. The only way to solve this problem was to take out expensive extra insurance that tripled my rental cost. Also they do not accept the booking.com insurance so don t use that. I believe they advertise cheap prices to get you to book with them then when you show up they force you to take extra insurances so their prices end up being the same as everyone else. Just not worth the hassle

Good rental car experience. Shuttle to and from airport in nice van. It took a little while getting our rental car/filling out paperwork but that was bc there were a lot of customers. Great staff that spoke English. Returning car was very quick and efficient with immediate airport shuttle.

Tambem fiz uma reserva pelo opodo. foi me pedido um Cartao de credito para fazer a reserva e a reserva foi mais tarde confirmada. Ao levantar o veiculo em Lisboa, foi me feito duas propostas de levantamento e ou seguros, que recusei, pois já tinha feito um seguro pela opodo. Entao foi me praticamente exigido a escolha de uma das propostas e foi me justificado porque o meu cartao Visa tinha escrito débito e nao Crédito. o meu cartao é Visa débit mas tem todas as funcoes de 1 cartao de credito e cofre caucoes até ao limite que acordei com o banco, neste caso cobria á vontade a caucao pedida, o meu banco confirmou. Mas a Tangerine justificou que só aceitava cartoes de Crédito e que nao podia realizar o bloqueio e mais tarde o desbloqueoio da caucao! Eu pedi que fizessem uma tentativa de bloqueio à minha frente e caso nao funcionasse, fariamos entao a outra opcao. Este pedido foi recusado e outra trabalhadora da Tangerine intrometeu-se na conversa a afirmar que isso nao funcionaria. Mas o que é certo é que: 1. nao tentaram (nao quiseram tentar e dissipar as minhas duvidas). 2. mais tarde conseguiram bloquear uma quantia do meu cartao para custos de portagens, depósito de combustivel, etc. Conclusao... afinal sempre conseguiram bloquear quantias do meu cartao de debito! Achei que a forma de agir da tangerine nao foi correcto, muito menos transparente e ou sério. Na teoria paguei o aluguer do veiculo 2x! Tangerine e Opodo, nunca mais!

Une belle arnaque. Le but est clairement dafficher des prix bas pour pouvoir vous arnaquer en arrivant. Première chose il est nécéssaire davoir une carte de crédit et non de Débit car sinon soit disant ils ne peuvent pas prendre de caution. Javais déjà payé lassurance via BSP mais il a fallu prendre la Full assurance à 250 pour 6 jours en plus (Prix de la Loc + assurance à la base de 110 ). Javais un bébé avec moi donc impossible de partir pour trouver une voiture ailleur. Pour la caution des péages par contre aucun problème pour la prendre sur la carte de débit... Il y avait également un problème à mon retour avec dautres clients qui se faisaient facturer des dommages quils navaient pas commis... Bref à vous de voir.

Obrigam a contratar o servico via verde com um custo elevado!!!! E ainda me sacaram dinheiro do cartao de credito depois do aluguer , sem a minha assinatura. A situação ja esta com o advogado.

Carro muito sujo ao levantar. Foi-me dito que era obrigatorio por lei o pagamento e activação da via verde ( custo extra de 24 ) apesar de eu ter dito que não pretendia esse serviço. Caso peçam o decreto lei eles metem algo impresso por eles que nos leva a pensar que é obrigatório mas não é. A não voltar.

After spoken to the staff, We went in to change the car because our tires were in bad shape. But the supervisor got between and charged us 800euros because of the condition of the tires from 5days of driving a car some miles, we end up buying two super expansive tires for her. Her argument was that all tires was always inspected before we got the car. That was not true! 5min later she gave us a new car with worse tires. We refused to take it. Got a different one with good tires but no air pressure! Window wipers where also in bad condition so we couldn t drive in rain. I visit Portugal 10times rented a car every time and this is my first bad experience.

Estava a passeio porém também iria me casar. Por isso aluguei uma Mercedes, a qual fui muito feliz pois o carro era novo e superou minhas expectativas. Raised this issue as it s not stated in their terms and conditions as a mandatory fee which is had to be if this is true. Avoid!!! There are much more trustworthy rental companies out there.

Durante um periodo alagardo, necessitei de ter carro alugado. Tive 22 dias com um Ford Fiesta e mais 20 dias com um Fiat 500. Ambos os carros estavam limpos, com algumas marcas de uso, mas sem impossibilitar o seu uso (nomeadamente no interior), e com poucos kms. Os funcionários são simpáticos e o processo de aluguer e entrega relativamente rápido. Optei em ambos os alugueres por deixar franquia, e os valores foram libertados dentro do prazo que me apresentaram. A nivel de acessibilidades, não usei transfers nem qualquer serviço disponibilizado pela rent a car, no entanto, chegar ao local foi facil.

Betrüger Wir hatten am 09.02.24 einen Mercedes übernommen mit einer Fahrleistung von knapp 5.000 Kilometer. Wetterbedingt waren wir nur im Ozeanium und dann stand der Wagen in der Tiefgarage. Bestätigen kann ich auch einige Vorgänger, dass mir weitere Optionen aufgeschwatzt wurden (Mautkaution). Das Kennzeichen für weitere Kunden: BE 89 SG Nach Rückkehr zur Station am 12.02. wurde behauptet, ich hätte beide Vorderreifenfelgen ramponiert, was normalerweise bei einem üblichen Längsparken rechts völlig unmöglich ist. Leider hatten wir keine Fotos gemacht und im Übergabeprotokoll waren natürlich keine Beschädigungen vermerkt. Fahrleistung insgesamt waren sagenhafte 25 Kilometer. Unter Druck (Flieger wartet ja nicht auf uns) habe ich dann unterschrieben. Im nachhinein kann ich sagen, dass die Art der Beschädigung nicht beim Parken entstanden sein kann, da hätten auch beide Reifen Spuren zeigen müssen. Fotos liegen vor, leider zu spät. Anekdote am Rande: Dem Shuttle-Fahrer war es verboten, den Terminal 2 anzufahren!!!

Esta empresa me obrigou a contratar o serviço Via Verde mesmo após eu deixar claro que não precisaria do serviço. O funcionário me disse que sem este serviço contratado e pago ele não me liberaria o carro e me apresentou um documento referente a um decreto de lei que teoricamente permitiria às empresas exigirem o pagamento deste serviço. Eu fotografei este documento e ao chegar em casa constatei que o documento apresentado pelo funcionário está diferente do decreto lei disponibilizado no site do governo português. Ou seja, esta empresa cometeu um crime ao me apresentar um documento alterado para enganar o cliente e obrigar a contratar um serviço que não será utilizado. Entrei em contacto com uma esquadra da polícia e narrei o ocorrido. Orientaram-me a ir até a esquadra para apresentar queixa contra a empresa Tangerine. No fim, o carro que me deram apresentava 2 problemas: o sistema multimídia não funcionava e o auxiliar de estacionamento também estava avariado. Não recomendo os serviços da empresa Tangerine.

Very positive feedback. First-time rental with Tangerine and all good. Means: transfer from/to airport with a new van, car in good shape, all damages noticed at pick-up, 5 minutes process by drop-off (really smooth). Plus, they notice you in 30 days on potential outstanding toll/fines so you do not get eviction notice in a 2 year period (as happened to me before).

Tangerine keep charging my credit card 3 months after the car return. They charged my credit card in Jan and Feb after the car return on 2nd Nov 2023. They keep charging you without even send you a notification nor explain exactly what is the charges. Just keep telling you it s fine but without details. Absolutely scam!!

I am a host at several guesthouses, and unfortunately they somehow scammed some of my guests. There definitely cheaper and more reliable options.

Super friendly and professional service both when picking up and dropping off the car. Extremely professional shuttle service (out of all the agencies I rented a car from, it was the first time they took the time to put a seat for my daughter). I recommend it!

Tive uma excelente experiência, staff super atencioso e carro em ordem. Retiro duas estrelas, pois quando recebo a factura, é-me facturado 120 por ter atravessado a fronteira para Espanha (para ir a um restaurante que nem a 5km fica da fronteira) e dizem-me que é preciso uma pré-autorização. Erro meu, não li os termos e condições, como 95% da população mundial, mas daí a facturarem 120 é de muito má fé. E pior, não existe tabela nenhuma a informar qualquer valor a se pagar para este tipo de situações. É ridículo. Resta me informar com o advogado se esta situação é normal. Fica o aviso para quem ler os comentários, para ficarem atentos.

Good rental company. Excellent telephone service, when picking up and returning the vehicle. Quick rental. I found the deposit to be high, impossible for those who do not have a credit card with a high limit and unfeasible for those who are renting for a few days, but it is within the limits charged in Portugal. Good option for comprehensive insurance and waiving the deposit.

The insurance was very high if you dont take their insurance, then theyll block 1,600 euros in your card. So even the rental is cheaper you loose it in the insurance

The car had a lot of scratches and wheel rash. The paperwork containing damages did not list anything. When I mentioned this to him, he just smiled and said take pictures. When returning I had to show the pictures and explain everything, again. Just a blatant attempt at cheating - if I had not noticed and taken pics, they would just charged me. Bad business practice. A case of Buyer Beware. Car itself was good and the return process was easy and the return agent was good.

Rented Nov 2023 through DiscoverCars. Tangerine is a fairly new company, with cars based off-airport. Shuttle to and from the airport. Overall review - exceptional location, reasonable quality car, and good value for money. Either get full insurance (probably a good idea given many of Portugals streets) or inspect the vehicle incredibly carefully on pickup and dropoff. Some delays in the pickup experience, but overall, if travelling to the South of Lisbon across the Vasco da Gama bridge, we would definitely rent from Tangerine again. Details: Location - The off-site location is exceptional for those travelling outside of Lisbon to the south - very close to the Vasco da Gama bridge, making it extremely easy to drive away and return the car. For that reason alone, I would likely use this company in the future. Pickup experience - great instructions to find the representative in the airport holding the pickup sign. Waited about 10 minutes in airport before shuttle arrived. It appeared that there was only one 6/7-passenger shuttle van running back and forth at the time. 5-8 minute drive to rental site. There were only 2 reps doing checkins, so we also waited about 15 minutes there. *Given reviews on here, we were careful to video, photograph, and inspect the vehicle with a fine-toothed comb at pickup. We did identify an area of damage not noted on the rental documents, which we brought to staffs attention to photograph and document. The garage is dark, so use a flashlight. Or just buy full damage coverage. Vehicle - A few areas of damage to the exterior (see above). Clean interior except smelled moderately of smoke, despite apparently being totally nonsmoking. This seemed to fade over time. Vehicle included built-in GPS, which was a plus. I recommend you photograph and video carefully on pickup, and inform staff of any damage, and write this into the contract accordingly. Drop-off - Car returned to the same off-site location as pickup. They inspected it very, very carefully for damage inside and out. No delay returning it. We did not shuttle back to airport. Instead, we took an Uber into Lisbon to continue our vacation. **P.S. - Do not attempt to drive a car in Lisbon if you can at all avoid it**

Everything went as expected. The attendants were very attentive, explaining everything in detail. The car was in perfect order. It is also worth mentioning that the car delivery location/office is 5 minutes from the red subway line. I will be back in due course.

Péssimo serviço , empresa tenta de todas as formas cobrar taxas excluídas a reserva tentando ganhar dinheiro com isso. Nao fazem check out, não dão comprovativo de entrega da viatura, etc. Pior rent a car,não aconselho de jeito nenhum. Preferível pagar um pouco mais mas alugar em uma empresa com nome. Am avut un Fiat 500 inchiriat pentru 5 zile prin broker. La momentul preluarii lucrurile au fost putin dificile, deoarece ni s-a propus un upgrade dar costurile nu au fost clar explicate motiv pt care m-am razgandit si am refuzat acest upgrade. Predarea a fost facuta catre o dra foarte draguta(blonda-nu am retinut numele) care a fost de nota 10. Garantia a fost eliberata rapid.

Great service , a little slow on collection from airport but the airport rep waited with me. Transfer driver was very chatty found out he was from Mozambique. Office staff pleasant and helpful , car was very very new , only 2000 km old. A little hard to find the office on return in Lisbon rush hour hustle bustle, with it being quite a distance from airport and so much traffic. Will use again .

Ich hatte Anfang Dezember für eine Woche einen neuwertigen, sauberen und vollgetankten Fiat 500 für sage und schreibe 15,- die komplette Woche. Übergabe zwar etwas lustlos, aber OK. Shuttlebus super pünktlich. Rückgabe unkompliziert und freundlicher Mitarbeiter. Das mit der Mautbox für die Autobahn kostet zwar extra, auch wenn man sie nicht benutzt... egal. 17 Euro bei der sehr günstigen Automiete. Gerne wieder

A great new Portuguese car rental company! I rented from them earlier this month for 12 days. Although they re off-site, the shuttle was right there to pick us up at the airport. It took about five minutes to get to the rental location. Their fleet is brand new (I think our car had about 1,500km on it). Our car was excellent, clean inside and out. The checkout process was clear as was the return process - everything done in perfect English. The staff were very friendly and personable. A great experience all around. Congratulations, Tangerine! We look forward to renting with you again soon.

Funcionários muito simpáticos e informativos. O rapaz que faz o transfer do aeroporto para o local de recolher o carro é super simpático e prestativo. Decidimos entregar o carro mais cedo para podermos andar por lisboa antes do nosso vôo e deixaram nos deixar a nossa bagagem nas instalações deles para que não andássemos carregados. Preço estremamente acessível. Tivemos um furo e em meia hora estava resolvido. Recomendo e voltaremos a usar com toda a certeza.

Über einen Online-Anbieter habe ich ein günstiges Angebot gefunden, aber es wurde versucht mir vor Ort einiges aufzudrängen - hier sollte man standhaft bleiben. Das Auto war aber super neu. Es wird ein Shuttle zum Flughafen angeboten

Son unos estafadores. Te piden una fianza que posteriormente se usa en los peajes con la idea de que una vez se entregue el coche, se te devuelve el importe que no hayas consumido de dicha fianza en los peajes. Han pasado 4 meses, múltiples llamadas y múltiples correos y no dan una solución. La fianza era de 150 por cierto, que no es poco. No vuelvo a usar sus servicios ni se lo recomiendo a nadie, por si propio bien.

Musisz wzi dodatkowe ubezpieczenie warte 250euro (bra em dodatkowe specjalnie) ale si okaza o e jest jakie inne i musia em zabra inny pakiet, ale tamtego nie mog anulowa i pieni dze posz y w b oto. Z z oko o 150 za wynajem auta ktore jest podrapane wysz o e wynajem na 8 dni wyniós 509euro. Skamerzy i nic wi cej- nie polecam

Attention la location cest plutôt bien passé mais nous nous faisons prélevé des montant pour des factures sans explications plusieurs fois par mois cest un scandale !
