Here you can rent an MTB for a working day without documents (photos only) and a deposit. I have never encountered such conditions anywhere else. But for electric trains and carbon fiber you will have to leave a document and a hundred square meters+. The equipment itself is not very bad a year later everything is the same. Great service and light, comfortable and smooth bikes. We rented the bikes to go to Belem and it was at the best spot to reach the bike path. The staff were very friendly and also very accommodating; the bike came with a phone holder and the other with a basket. We had the bikes for a couple of hours and it came with helmets and a bike lock as well. Great place to rent bikes from!

After trying a few shops without luck we came here and the incredible mechanic Jorge got us rolling again in no time and taught me a few things as well. We rent two bikes last weekend and it was very uncomplicated. We got two Kona mountainbikes, perfect way to drive by ourselfs through Lissabon. I recommend biclas because its a bike shop with bike rental and knowledge about good bikes.

No recommendation! 0/10 Needed mudguards - first they sold me the wrong size that didn t fit my back and then we I returned them they said they would call me as soon as the new ones they ordered had arrived. Never happened and never got my money back.

Wir sind an einem Sonntag spontan vorbeigekommen und haben uns 2 E-Bikes geliehen. Super service und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit einem der Akkus der ab und an während der Fahrt ausgegangen ist. Dafür kam man uns im Anschluss mit dem Preis entgegen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Excellent Service! They prepared my bike for my trip from Lisbon to Faro. The new brakes & tires have been installed from the experts within one day for a fair price. They even called me to tell me they only have a higher quality tire available at the moment, to let me decide to wait or get the better tire.

We hired bikes here after having a negative experience at bikibera - the guys here we re so friendly and it was much cheaper than expected, we hired two bikes they checks and adjusted the seats for us and we spent a few hours cycling to Belem Tower, the art gallery and LX Factory. We where back by the 7pm closing time and for two bikes for 5hours it was only 38 Euros. They held an ID, and we where able to pay by card without a deposit. Also an option to keep 24hours for 20 Euros.

They packed my bike for a flight to germany. After i arrived at the airport i saw that the pedals are missing. Furthermore the bike was not packed safely for the flight. A few parts including my tires where damaged quiet a lot. I can really not recommend the bike packing service!!

We found that electric bicycles are a great way to discover Lisbon. Good service at Biclas, and the two KTM mountain bikes we rented, took us up the steepest slopes without us being the least sweaty in the heat. The bikes were also practical when we cycled to the beach 25 km outside Lisbon. Performance Line CX engine and very good battery take you far with these bikes.

Really nice, laid back, and easy place to rent bikes. Prices are cheap and the bikes are in good shape. The deposit was an ID. My daughter and I rented bikes for the day and we biked 14 miles RT on the river bike path. They gave us a basket and bungee NC, the bikes were nice and in good shape (rated great compared to 99% of the bikes I have rented in Europe). The guys at the shop are excellent people. I rented the bikes for the day and then they charged me by the hour when I returned them, which was even less, so how cool was that? Highly recommend.

I had a very negative experience with this shop. I went in seeking a bike box to pack my bike. Keep in mind, these boxes are usually put into the garbage and shops around the world have given them them to me for free. At biciclas, I was told this was not possible and it would cost me 59 because they offer the service.to pack the bike (other shops in the city charge 30 max for this service). Eventually he offered to sell me a box for 20 , but brought me out a.box.full.of holes, that Im sure he pulled.straight from the trash. All along the staff there were.rude and condescending. I left in tears with no box. Please avoid this shop at all cost.

Best rent a bicycle in the city! We came in September and there was no need for reservation. Everything was quick and the bicycles were perfect. We were even able to leave our backpacks there. So we didn t have to search for luggage storage! We will definitely visit again! 2 bicycles for 21 for 1 day!

Great place to rent a proper mountainbike. Service is super fast and easy, no deposit required or any sort of credit card. The bikes are Kona Lava Domes which are quite decent hardtails. Had fun blasting through some trails and doing some urban free riding.

Não recomendo. Após contacto por e-mail e telefone, encomendei uma bicicleta para ser entregue no Porto. Fiz o pagamento integral na hora, por transferência, tendo me sido garantido que a entrega seria feita passado poucos dias. Até aqui tudo bem. O pior foi quando começaram a surgir adiamentos sucessivos na entrega e desculpas esfarrapadas para o atraso, bem como uma atitude arrogante e desinteressada, como se me estivessem a fazer algum favor. Só após muita insistência, é que consegui que me enviassem comprovativo do envio da bicicleta e respectiva factura. Quando finalmente recebi a bicicleta, reparei que era um modelo diferente da bicicleta encomendada, vinha com o guiador riscado, sem luz frontal (contrariamente ao anunciado no site) e com um parafuso a menos. Enfim, mais um caso paradigmático de desprezo pelo cliente e falta de profissionalismo que infelizmente grassam por todo o lado. Nunca mais.

The bike shop staff are generally friendly and helpful. However, the floor staff and mechanics could be better synchronised (I was promised repairs earlier than was possible, as was later told to me by the mechanic). I also requested for my gears to be serviced as I had some issues with a misaligned derailleur and chain slippage when shifting gears and needed the bike for a four day cross country trip. This was properly fixed, which was a bit disappointing considering I paid 36 euros (and I couldnt take it anywhere else due to the lack of time). Theyre pretty overloaded with work, which isnt an excuse but an understandable explanation for the shortcuts taken hence my 3/5.

45 a day to rent a 5year old heavily used road bike is laughable.

Cuidado, no dan recibos por los trabajos. Cuando reclamas por un trabajo mal hecho, te gritan sin reconocer su mal desempeño. Son aprovechadores, estafadores, se aprovechan de los latinos que somos gente confiables y solo venimos a trabajar.

I went to biclas to buy a box in order to fly back home with my bike. I was told that biclas offered a service in which they actually dismantle the bike themselves and protect it. After being overcharged when I came back to the shop I found my bike in a huge box. Not sure the box would have fit as a special luggage I asked for some clarifications. The owner of the shop replied that he had not other boxes and he guaranteed that the size was not a problem, and that I could flight with it. Moral of the stories, this careless approach caused me to almost lose my flight (box was too big, of course, even for the special luggage) and I found myself 1 hour before boarding having to cut and tape the box in the middle of the airport. A Very arrogant owner/manager, rude and careless towards his customers. I really discourage people to buy from here. Very dishonest, they only care about making money (everything is overpriced) and they cant care less about their customers. Read all other negative reviews before shopping in here

Tem um funcionário excelente, mas o proprietário deixa muito a desejar comprei uma bicicleta que avariou o eixo da roda traseira a mesma está na garantia foi para reparar no início do mês de agosto de 2021 até a data de hoje ainda estou à espera do arranjo do eixo da roda traseira . Para além de pedir o livro de reclamações não me foi dado tive de chamar as autoridades para o livro aparecer lamentável atitude não aconselho está loja a ninguém

Uma loja com uma boa apresentação, mas os vendedores são muito arrogantes. Eu estava atrás de uma bicicleta simples e o vendedor falou que nem com 100 se comprava a roda da bicicleta. Outro problema, foi na hora que eu estava checando o site da Decathlon para procurar o modelo que eu queria, mas o outro vendedor disse que não se compara as bicicletas dele à ferrari. Por mais que o serviço lá, ao que me aparenta ser de qualidade, achei um disparate dos vendedores e falta de preparo para lidarem com o cliente. O modelo que me foi apresentado foi bom, mas quando o vendedor disse, depois troca as rodas. Se ele fosse educado, teria dito, podemos te vender e colocar o tipo de roda de sua preferência, ou falar mais educamente com seus clientes.

I had a problem with a broken shifter and took my bike into the shop - they were wonderful - they diagnosed the problem and found a used part which fixed the issue - I was overwhelmed by the service and also by the low cost to resolve a serious issue for me

I bought a KTM road bike at Biclas Chiado and the owner Dário and his employee were very friendly, professional and attentive. They ordered the bike from the Portuguese importer and I got it in two days time, fully assembled and tuned-up. Highly recommended shop.

Just rode out of the shop and decided to write up a review on a great bike shop with the friendliest staff. I went in for a basic maintenance two days ago and was told that it would take a minimum of three days to have my bike back. I agreed as it is a busy time in Lisbon currently and I had already noticed a bunch of bikes due for service before mine. Was happy that they made it clear earlier so I didnt have any false expectations. Much to my delight I received a call today informing me that my bike was ready, walked in and decided to get my pedals swapped which they happily fixed for me while being really helpful with advice on a future purchase. Absolutely satisfied with the services and advice provided. Also glad to have found a great local bike shop. Highly recommended!!!

We rented 3 electric bikes for 1/2 a day. The staff was amazing, they took the time to adjust the bike and seats for me, my wife & 13 year old son. They provided helmet for my son and a lock. The bikes were so nice and allowed us to bike most of Lisbon and even go up the various hills with ease. We biked and stopped along the way and this was the best part of our trip to Lisbon. My son asked if he can get the electric bike when he goes to College. I highly recommend the shop and the bikes if you want to venture on your own and discover Lisbon.

tried couple of bike shops. this was the only one with good valued prizes. the guy inside was relaxed and did his job. the bikes were not the newest, but good for a day ride to the beach.

Took my bike in for a basic service and was pretty shocked at the quote of 55 but was told I wouldnt get cheaper in Lisbon. I left with a bunch of add ons without an over all quote ever given to me before the job was done and then invoiced for 155 the owner was beyond rude and over all just wished Id never walking in and left my bike with these people. I tried to collect it several time and made it know I was going away. I was since told I was called and messages left. The long and short of it is hunt for cheaper in Lisboa n because there is, these guys are exploiting the fact they are central and adding on extras without asking isnt right. I didnt recieve a discount I was adimant they removed 15 off for my bike lock which they also LOST!!!! Never again. shop around is my advice, places in Anjos and Arroios for lots cheaper and without the arrogance.

We were already gettong desperate) and also pack the bikes into them for a little fee if they got time. They had bikes for rent that I could see that looked fully fine. The bikes for sale are in the medium price range. Recommend this bike shop!

unfortunately my motorcycle broke down right in front of the shop, I asked for a tool to try to repair it, but I was told that they did not have time to help. They don t need your business. Good for them, they have lots of work during these summer months. Basic maintenance on a bike I bought there a few years ago was going to take at least a month, and the younger attendant was a bit arrogant, which wasn t the kind of service experience I had during my many visits in the years previous. (New staff / management?) Instead, I took my bike and dropped it off to a much friendlier shop with 1-day turnaround (Bike Pop, Largo de Intendente)

Poor service does not honor agreements. Bad service when you make a reservation, they doesnt keep their promises.

In Nederland gebeld of er fietsen beschikbaar waren. Dit was het geval en moesten een mail sturen waarop hij zou replyen. Dit is na twee maal mailen niet gebeurd, dus hebben bij aankomst met de eigenaar gebeld of de fietsen klaar stonden. Ze stonden klaar en konden ze komen halen was zijn antwoord. Bij aankomst bleken er helemaal geen fietsen beschikbaar te zijn. Hij had ze verhuurd aan een andere groep en wij hadden niet betaald dus wat is het probleem kregen we te horen. Het interesseerde hem helemaal niets! Ons advies nooit een fiets huren bij deze zaak.

Pessoal muito antipático e pouco profissional, deixaram-me 5 minutos à espera de ser atendido enquanto 3 funcionários falavam entre eles ignorando-me ativamente. Passados mais de 5 minutos lá me atenderam, depois de ter o material que precisava nenhum dos 3 sabia o preço, tiveram que telefonar para um 4 sujeito, tirar fotografias às peças e enviar para esse sujeito. No final as peças tinham um preço quase de 40% acima do normal. Um par de travões simples de ferradura custava 30 quando em qualquer outra loja se compra por 20 . No final não comprei porque o preço era exagerado, um dos indivíduos, muito mal educado, ainda fez questão de gozar comigo. Enfim, uns usurários dos tempos modernos muito mal educados. Se tratam assim portugueses não quero imaginar o que fazem aos turistas estrangeiros. Faltam lojas/oficinas de bicicletas em Lisboa.

I give one star for having a roof that sheltered my bike. 3 weeks to call me with the budget of my bicycle repair and still nothing... I just literally went in the shop today, picked up my bike and left. Zero professionalism, zero respect, zero honesty. All in all, not fit to do any service to anyone who looks for a good job well done.

Telefonei ao gerente da loja para marcar uma reunião. Expliquei que vinha de Londres e só teria aquele dia. Perguntei se ele estaria na loja o dia todo e ele disse que sim que poderia me receber. Ao chegar a loja, ele havia saído. Liguei para ele e o mesmo não atendeu. O vendedor da loja e o mecânico, solícitos, explicaram que ele estava de mau humor e que não era um bom dia. Expliquei que já havia falado com o mesmo mais cedo. Passados uns minutos, o gerente entrou na loja, ignorou minha presença e subiu para o escritório, dizendo que não estava para ninguém. Não percebi o mesmo, mas o vendedor me informou. Insisti para que o mesmo fosse até o escritorio bater à porta para falar com o gerente para me receber. Ao que o mesmo retornou e disse que ele mandou dizer que não iria me receber. Sem qualquer pedido de desculpas. Uma grosseria e falta de respeito total com o tempo alheio. Todos nós temos maus dias mas se você tem um compromisso, você deve cumpri-lo. Simples assim.

Stopped in without a reservation and rode out with a great bicycle at a fair price. I had attempted to book a bike online for the day at the price of 14 (vs the regular 16) but failed to complete it. No problem - that price was honored. When I got back 4 hours later, the price was adjusted to 10.50 at the lower hourly rate. Very helpful people and a terrific location just off the waterfront, with miles of flat biking available along the waterfront in both directions. I enjoyed a great 31 mile ride.

The last day of our vacation we rent two mountain bikes from this shop for 24 hours. We had planned to go enjoy the Monsanto forest/park for a relaxing day. After riding on asphalt for few hours my bike damaged, the crank fell completely off in the middle of a big roundabout during rush hour. I was lucky that I didnt hurt myself, though almost a car hit me. We immediately called the rental company for help. The phone was not answered until the third call. Outcome was that they didnt provide any help, just told me they will call me back. It was torching hot day and we needed to get shade so we go to nearby park to wait for the call that never came. During the wait a police car arrived and we were questioned and searched for the purpose of being there and if we had anything illegal with us. It was very uncomfortable situation. The police told us that its a notorious park for drugs/prostitution and we better get going away. Being in the middle of big highways with a bike that had no crank/pedal I called the rental again. The solution they offer was to push this damaged bike into belem where they have another shop that could change the bike but it was open only for another 90 minutes and kilometers away. Being in between two highways was very difficult for locate a safe way back. Theres no paths for cycling. We never reach to change the bike in time so I end up pushing the bike back to center of Lisbon all the way from Monsanto. The first thing I did in the morning I went to the shop to return the bike and ask for return of my money. The manager of the shop just laughed to us, accusing me for using the bike for jumping in the forest. He told us they will not going to return my money cause we used the bikes for couple of hours of the 24 we had them rented. They never offered us helmets and they accuse us for damaging the bike with jumping the bike. The manager wasnt taking seriously our horrible struggle getting back safely. This really ruined our last day of the vacation. Stay away from this company.

Desaconsejable totalmente!! Alquilamos unas bicicletas y nos quisieron timar con el precio y al no conseguirlo nos retuvieron un movil hasta que les dimos la diferencia (que incluso fué mayor al precio de tarifa) para devolverlo... No quisimos que interviniese la policia para no estropearnos el día pero esta gente tiene 0 profesionalidad y bordean otro tipo de actitudes...Lo dicho, buscar otra tienda donde alquilar unas bicis...
