Everything went smooth. I ordered online, got confirmation. No queues, we were met at the airport. The car (Škoda Fabia) was easy to drive, spacious and well suited for the steep Lisbon hills. My experience was great.
We rented a car from Hire Car 4 Less for our Portugal trip beginning on August 27th due to the good reviews we saw (just noticed nearly all of the good reviews are old). First off, we made the reservation on March 22nd (5 months before the pick up),and the credit card was charged for the full amount at that time. Next, we were to be met by someone at Lisbon arrivals holding a sign with our name on it. That didn't happen and we had to call to get someone to come and pick us up. The car we were given was actually quite nice, (thus the 2 stars) but the GPS didn't work properly. We didn't discover this until we were almost to Faro, so we ended up having to purchase our own GPS. When returning the car and telling them about the GPS, we received rude treatment and were told we probably didn't know how to operate it (although we had no problem with the one we bought). We asked about a refund for the amount we paid for the rental of the GPS and were instructed to contact the main office. I emailed on September 8th and then again on September 11th. I finally received a reply on September 14th indicating they would refund the GPS rental amount. I asked when this would be happening, but received no reply nor have I seen a credit post to my charge card yet. I am not holding my breath.
We hired a car from Hire Car 4 Less for 2 weeks in April and I was amazed at the quality of service - a far cry from the big international hire firms, all of whom we've had problems with in the past (unexpected charges, not having the size of car that was booked, claiming there were new scratches when there weren't). HIre Car 4 Less were helpful, friendly and honest both when I was booking and when we were picking up the car and dropping it off. What's more they were much cheaper than the big operators. Will definitely use them again!
We go to Portugal often and the experience with service hasn't always been great, especially when it comes to car rentals. We found Amoita through google and they stuck out through their excellent reviews, so we decided to give them a try. We weren't disappointed, people were extremely helpful, service orientated and flexible, making this an excellent experience! They greeted us at the arrival gate after giving us a call when still at the baggage carousel to make sure we didn't miss them. Super professional and friendly company, no hesitation whatsoever to recommend them to anyone who needs a rental car in Portugal! Keep up the great work!
High quality service at an affordable price. We rented several times at "Hire Car 4 Less" and we have never been disappointed. The site is comfortable to use, the cars are clean and relatively new an the customers service is excellent. They are extremely kind, polite and professional. A entrega do carro também foi fácil e sem nenhum problema, já estavam à nossa espera perto da entrada do estacionamento mesmo antes da hora de entrega. We travelled up from Faro to Lisbon for the weekend. To our surprise Hire Car 4 Less cancelled our booking last minute. This left us having to forgo our trip and many of our plans

Failed to process booking and left me stranded. I made a booking and was sent a link to confirm which I did. On the morning of the booking I got a taxi to the office - which was very difficult to find - to pick up the car and was told that they did not have a booking and did not have any cars. Complete waste of time and money.
This thing is closed! After looking for this hidden place for an halfen hour, I found it, no answer on the phone, also doesnt look very trustworthy. I would love to rent a car from a portuguese business, but it seams hard to find reliable and honest ones. So I ll go to the Airport and get a car.

Thiefs. Be much careful. Faulty dangerous cars and illegal charges. Be aware that your life is in danger when driving those vehicles. They will give you faulty cars and try to charge you for when they break. I almost have an accident on the road. BEWARE

We rented with a pickup at the airport but we were late showing up. We gave them a ring and a few minutes later we were on our way. Extremely friendly, helpful, multilingual staff combined with the best prices in Lisbon. Very high recommendations.
Hire from Amoita was a good experience for us, with excellent service for car delivery/pickup from our hotel and advice about driving throughout Portugal. The vehicle was clean and relaible and the staff very friendly

Excelente serviço, bom atendimento, rápido, eficiente e muito fácil, e carros em bom estado, limpos e cuidados. Numa ocasião deram-me um toque no carro, e mandaram-me um recepcionista ao local do acidente, que resolveu toda a papelada, e me entregou outro carro. O único inconveniente foi a espera pelas autoridades para desbloquearem o acidente. Recomendo vivamente esta firma.

They were there upon my arrival at the airport, no cliches what so ever, great rates and and great service at alot less than car rental brand names at the airport. Definitley will be using them again upon my return to portugal.
