We have been waiting almost 2 hours already, we have reservation already . 5 people working but each reservation is taking almost 20-25 minutes to complete, i dont think it is normal process time in any car rental company if you have already reserved your car. After long international Flight this is a nightmare.
Rented me a car and it broke down due to a hybrid drive train failure. Can't get anyone on the support line and stuck in Peniche without a vehicle. Terrible service hotline.

Shuttle ride is long but the buses are frequent. Hertz service was flawless.
Perfect car. Made our honeymoon even more fun. Only the waiting time was not okay
We rented a car from Budget today and had a nice experience with the initial agent. We did not think we needed to take photos of the car. However, it turns out when we returned the car it had a scratch on the hubcap. We did not cause this and were not aware of this. When returning the car we informed the agent that we did not cause this but he would not listen. Told us to file a claim. That is what we will do but overall very disappointed by this experience. This is not the first time we have had issues with budget rentals. This will be the last time we utilize this company. It is not our fault they did not notice the scratch. It is not our responsibility to pay for something that we did not cause.
The review is not for Budget, but to let you know that Budget is no longer at this location. No idea why there are recent reviews because they don’t pertain to either Budget or the rental place that is there now.
Very poor organization. 90 min (!) wait in line to get to the counter. Beware, rule in this place is that you need 3 pieces of documentation to get a car: - a drivers license - a credit card - AND another piece of identification: passport or national id cards DIFFERENT from the drivers license. The clerk would not accept otherwise (company policy), and could offer no solution (had copies of the documents available...) or even transfer the contract to my wife, who had the 3 pieces and was also present. Left without a car. Poor service, poor organization, waste of customer time. An outrage to the Budget and Avis brands which had not given me any problem so far anywhere else. Time to change. Waiting for an answer from CS to update.
Após indicar a data e o tipo de viatura, foram apresentados os resultados e fiz a seleção. Foi indicado que deveria aguardar a confirmação. Por email, recebi ao outro dia a indicação de que não havia aquela viatura para aquela data. Passadas algumas horas telefonaram, mas já tinha encontrado algo melhor.
