Probably, the best rental company I've ever seen. I rented a car here ca. 10 times. No hassle during the pick-up and drop-off, that generally takes 5-10 minutes. Cars are with very low mileage. No unfair charges and prices are very good for Mercedes/Volvo cars. The stuff is cheerful and helpful. Overall, great experience!
A very friendly rentacar with good prices. Unlike many other smaller firms they do not endeavour selling you an expensive ensurance or, if you desist, charging you for a minor scratch or chip. Very good guys!
I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with this rental company in Lisbon, and I feel compelled to share my ordeal to warn others. From the moment I arrived to pick up my car, things started to go downhill. The car wasn't even ready when I arrived, and when it was finally brought out, I noticed a problem with the trunk—it wouldn’t protect our belongings properly. When I pointed this out to the rental agent, they dismissed it as a non-issue, showing a complete lack of concern. They were unwilling to address the problem or offer any solution. The situation only got worse from there. The staff was rude and unprofessional in their handling of the situation, making it clear they had no intention of helping. After much back and forth, I was given another car, only to find that it, too, had issues that should have been caught with a basic inspection. This led to yet another car change, wasting more of my time and causing unnecessary stress. It was clear that the company doesn’t properly check their vehicles before renting them out, leading to these avoidable problems. Overall, this experience was a nightmare. I will never use this company again and strongly recommend that others avoid it at all costs. The lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service is astonishing. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reliable and customer-focused rental company.
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Stern Rent Lisbon, primarily due to the shockingly rude behavior of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a dismissive attitude and unprofessional conduct that left a sour taste in my mouth. The employees seemed uninterested in assisting me, more focused on their personal conversations than helping a customer. When I asked for clarification about the rental options, I was met with impatience and condescension, which made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. To make matters worse, when I pointed out an issue with the vehicle I was given, the staff's response was not only unhelpful but borderline hostile. Rather than addressing the problem, they seemed annoyed that I had brought it up at all. Overall, the lack of basic customer service and the rude demeanor of the employees made what should have been a simple and smooth transaction incredibly frustrating. I will not be returning to Stern Rent Lisbon and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for rental car services.

I rented a Kia XCeed vehicle at Stern - Lisboa on July 4th. I made a reservation for July 5th through the site, but I went to the office on July 4th because I mistook the date. Still, the employee rented the vehicle and told me to cancel the existing reservation. Thanks to this, I used the vehicle well and returned it at dawn on July 5. I'd like to ask you something. My credit card was approved by your company on July 4th and 8th, but I did not receive any invoice. Please send me the invoice for the two approved details by e-mail.
Best car rental experience I've ever had. Very professional and quick. Also not trying to find ways to charge me extra. Sad to say but that is rare. I got there to pickup the car 20 min early and they didn't have any issues with giving me the car. They also have a 1 hour grace period on return. Once at another company they made me stand and wait until the exact time, they wouldn't even do the paper work early so Stern's attitude is very refreshing. I highly recommend them!
Superb experience start to end! Car pickup was a breeze. Gentleman at the desk was very professional and helpful. Our Hyundai i20 was in immaculate condition and very clean. Was a real pleasure to drive. Especially liked the ability to drop the car off after hours. And the rental price was second to none. Will definitely be renting here again!

When I arrived at the Rent a Car, I was forced to pay an extra 1 or so for the MANDATORY Via Verde service, which I did not request or use. I also had to pay an extra 60 or so to be able to take the car to Spain, when this fee WAS NOT INDICATED in the conditions!

Very pleasant and efficient service both when you pick a car and when return. I got better and brand new car than ordered. It is worth to take a ride to that place since everything was very fluent. Even deposit was returned next business day. Highly recommend.

Jai loué une Fiat 500 dans cette agence et tout sest très bien passé. Le personnel parle anglais a été réactif lorsque lon a envoyé des mails. Nous avons récupéré et rendu la voiture en moins de 10 minutes. La voiture était propre et conforme à ce que nous avions réservé. Attention à bien avoir une carte de CREDIT et non de débit sinon impossible de louer !
Absolute joke of a rental service. Be prepared to wait upwards of 45 mins before an attendant will even talk to you. Rental car itself was not bad, new and clean Mercedes A class. Aftercare was what shocked me, despite being told I could drop the car off a few hours later than expected without paying an extra charge I was still charged another full day rate 9 days after handing the car back. Am working on getting this money back now, but to save youre safe the pain choose one of the other car rental services in Lisbon.

Pas de problème jai donnés un pourboire en partant. Jattends trois semaines après mon télépéage. Le téléphone ! pas de réponse il possible pas brancher. Du coups jais fait supprimé mon Télapéage. Had a super experience with stern rent a car. Renting was swift and for a very good price! The deposit was paid back within one working day and returning the car only took about 15 minutes. The employees all spoke English. All in all, I would highly recommend this company and would happily rent from them again!

Ich hatte das Auto über Rental Cars incl. vollem Versicherungsschutz gebucht und bezahlt. Bei Abholung war der Hauptaugenmerk auf eventuelle Schäden am Fahrzeug. Ich hab den Übernahmevertrag unterschrieben, wurde aber nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass nochmal eine Super Luxusversicherung im Vertrag stand. So hat die Versicherung mehr gekostet als die Fahrzeugmiete. Rental cars hat mir mitgeteilt, dass ich den Vertrag vor Ort mit Stern geschlossen habe und deshalb kein Anspruch gegenüber Rental cars besteht. Ich habe immerhin die Kosten für die mitgebuchte Versicherung zurück bekommen. Ich schätze, das hat System. Zuerst wird man durch niedrige Mieten gekldert un dann über teuere Versicherungen abgezockt. Schadeder Rest hat gut geklappt.

Vi comentários ruins aqui, mas arrisquei pelo preço de um carro híbrido muito bom. Gostei muito. É bom atentar para os valores das cauções. Gostei tanto que renovei e foi muito simples também. A caução dos pedágios de 75 euros foi cancelada após os 30 dias como combinado e a do aluguel de 700 euros cancelada assim que efetuei o pagamento na entrega. Gostei e indico. Muito obrigado.

Great experience. Super easy, in/out, no trouble. I booked on rentalcars website, and the counter guys gave me no trouble about extra insurance. Car was clean and efficient. Also, I opted for this agency because they were closer to the big Oriente train station.

The car was very new and the device for the highway was a great way to make our travel smoother. The location is not at the airport but it is super easy to reach with the metro. The truth is that I have hesitated a lot about whether to write this review or not, but I believe it is important that it at least reaches the business managers. We rented a car to spend the first weekend in Portugal and visit places like Sintra, Cascais, etc. The rental price was very reasonable considering it was August, and the vehicle pick-up process went smoothly, and we were given the car we had reserved. The problem arose on Sunday when we wanted to return the vehicle. It turns out that the first weekend of August was scheduled for the Popes events. It wasnt an issue when we picked up the car, but when we tried to return it, no one from the rental office informed us that the rental car area would be completely inaccessible and blocked by the police due to the Popes events on that Sunday. We spent 3 hours trying to access the area, and none of the police officers allowed us in, even though we explained that we needed to return the rental car. We triet several directions and accesses points but nothing worked. Seeing this problem, we decided to call the rental office to inform them that it wouldnt be possible for us to return the car and to ask if they would allow us to leave it at another location. We called 14 times(not exaggerating), and no one returned our call. Finally, after a few hours, the police allowed us access, but only if we drove very slowly with our hazard lights on, as there were still some attendees from the events. When we arrived at the office and expressed our frustration and explained that they hadnt answered our calls, the guy told me it was impossible because the phone was working. I called from my mobile phone in front of him, and he looked puzzled because it didnt ring. Then he checked the phone and realized that the sound was turned off. It was really unfortunate! My first complaint is that we should have been informed when we picked up the car that we wouldnt be able to access the area on that Sunday. They knew this would happen. If not, they should have called us on the same Sunday. Keep in mind that once we left the car at the office, we had to walk to the center of Lisbon because taxis and buses couldnt access the area. It was all a terrible experience - a pathetic service and lack of empathy on the return process.
Poor service and management took us more than 1 hour just to pick up the car waiting on the sun and heat because it was totally full of people inside of the office and it was only two assistants for more than 20 people queue. The staff was very nice and friendly with me and my family which was the only thing that saved this whole experience even tho it wasn t actually their fault to be more people that they could possible handle even if they wanted to. I really would like to know who manages this place because there s no words to describe Sad

Extremely slow service. When we arrived there were maybe 6 groups of people there, they complained about the waiting time of more than 90 minutes. Turned out we also waited two hours for these 6 groups to be processed. Another person got the wrong category of car and had to deal with it. The Waiting time is unacceptable for a car rental company
A great experience here renting for a few days to go to Algarve. Much better to take an Uber here from the airport and skip the lines. The staff was phenomenal, Admario went above and beyond and provided a 5/5 rental experience. The car was clean and beautiful. Will be back next time we are in Lisbon!
Trouvé avec Rentalcar, prix très compétitif et très bonne alternative aux autres loueurs traditionnels. Les véhicules sont récents (Hyundai I20 de 15000km) et bien entretenus, personnel attentionné. Il y a un peu d attente à la prise du véhicule mais c est largement compensé par la qualité du service et du véhicule. Je n ai pas pris l assurance proposée par Stern (ni celle de Rentalcar qui n a pas de bons avis ) et ils n ont pas été insistants en inventant des causes non prises en charges par les assurances de cartes bleues gold. Je louerai de nouveau avec eux si je reviens à Lisbonne.

Não recomendo essa locadora. Além de ser mal atendido, recebi cobranças indevidas por danos ao veículo que não fiz. Se forem alugar, tirem foto na retirada do veículo, pois na hora de devolver podem ter surpresas, empresa desonesta.

Lief alles super gut und unser kleiner Fiat 500 Hybrid (haben wir nicht extra bestellt) hatte erst 3000 kilometer drauf, war super sauber und da er eben hybrid war, mussten wir bei 400km nur 20 euro tanken! Wir haben über rentalcars gebucht.
Pessima atendente sem experiência insistiu para que eu desse a senha de 04 números e eu insisti que minha senha era de 06 dígitos, bloqueio do meu cartão. Em contato com meu banco /visa disse que eu tinha que ter digitado minha senha de 06 números. Moral, sem locação, passeio a Cascais e Sintra para trás depois de 04 meses de planejamento. Atendente péssimo e sem vontade para atender

Experiencia triste, funcionarios descrentes dos clientes, mal tratamento, cinismo e informação incorreta. Tive que pagar uma diária a mais por informação dada erróneamente por um funcionario no momento de retirar o carro. O gerente por sua vez, não quis comprender a situação e usou cinismo um papel para desenhar a mim como os custos funcionavam. um palhaço. Resumindo, paguei 5 diárias e tive o carro por 3 dias e 18 horas. Super contente. Você vai pagar agora ou eu desconto o que você deve do seu calção? Essa foi a resposta do funcionário, quando dizia que estava cobrado errado o valor total. Ou seja, ou você paga, ou eu te cobro , não vou ouvir o que você tem a dizer.

The best service I had, its unconparable to the rest. For start the attention on the reception real good, no schemes of insurances or extras to pay. The car was almost new, I rented a Renault megane van, they give me a Ford focus van ST line Hybrid. I like to test different cars from time to time, so I rent different models to test. The service in Stern was a good surprise the next time will be with them and a different model.

Infelizmente não tive sorte com essa locadora de veículos. Aluguei pela RentalCars. Quando fui retirar o veículo meu cartão de crédito para o caução foi recusado (700 ). Tentei 5 vezes, mas não era problema com meu cartão nem com meu limite. Fiz contato com meu banco e informaram que não receberam nenhuma tentativa de transação. Não facilitaram de nenhuma forma, não me auxiliaram e nem me deram outra alternativa. Fiquei das 17h ate as 20h tentando encontrar alguma forma. Mesmo me oferecendo a pagar a mais, não colaboraram. Saí dali, fui ao aeroporto e aluguei outro veículo pela GOLDCAR, onde o caução era de 1.100 e ali meu cartão passou normalmente.

Experiência péssima. Aluguei um carro junto com minha mãe e mesmo efetuando o pagamento na hora eles fizeram uma cobrança no cartão e dela estão há mais de dois meses enrolando para fazer a restituição. Só semana passada foram 3 ligações e em todas eles dizem que precisam de dados - que já foram enviados até por e-mail - para concluir a transferência. Em determinado momento chegaram até a dizer que eu não podia reclamar da cobrança porque tive um desconto - que eu nem sabia que tinha sido aplicado - no aluguel! Absurdo!
Fomos extremamente mal tratados por um o funcionário mal educado, desrespeitoso e cínico. Uma TOTAL falta de respeito com o cliente que pagou por aquele serviço. LAMENTÁVEL experiência e não recomendo pra ninguém essa empresa. Por fim, tivemos que fazer uma nova reserva com a Rental Cars para não sermos mais atendidos por essa locadora.

Prático, rápido e fácil
Deixam nos à espera, não explicaram nada, entregaram o carro sem combustível, o colaborador só faliu comigo para dizer bom dia e pediu me os documentos não me explicou nada e ainda foi arrogante. No finl disse me o valor mas também não me disse o que estava a pagar nem o porquê pois estavam valores adicionados e um deles nem tinha de o pagar.
Bestelwagen gehuurd voor 10 dagen. Onvriendelijke aflevering, geen uitleg. Ontbrak een vastzetbalk. Moest Adblue gaan vullen. Schakelen 2 naar 3 ging moeizaam. Cabine stonk en vond een rotte appel. Tussen hete, mechanische delen zat een wollen muts!! Nul medewerking bij schadegeschil.
