Perfect place to pick up a van and explore Portugal, nice and friendly staff!

Truely a one of a kind experience, such a great way to explore Portugal! Micheal was a gem and made sure that we were well prepared for our adventure. Would highly recommend for the adventurous travellers who want to be mobile while traveling Portugal

They are a professional team with a large selection of vans. We took the atlantic van which drove very well we had a couple of issues but nothing major that disturbed our trip. The three stars is for the price, quite a used van with uncomfortable bed. We made due but when you pay 1.5k for a week we expected an interior of higher quality with more storing places. We understand that the van is for 4 persons thus the arrangement is better optmised for 4 people (not 4 adults, best for 2 adults and 2 yong kids). It was our first time renting and doing this experience, we loved it but we realised that for the price it may have not been the best option. The team was always very responsive, big thanks for their efforts.

Ich liebte es! Und wollte den Camper ungern wieder zurück geben. Habe den Camper in Lissabon abgeholt und die Jungs waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Abgabe in Faro verlief reibungslos. Von Abholung bis Abgabe war alles super. Der Camper war in einem sehr guten Zustand, ließ sich einfach fahren und man konnte wunderbar darin wohnen/leben und das Land erkunden. Gerne wieder!

We recently used Siesta for a week trip north from Lisboa to the Parc Serra Estrela and to visit some historic sites at Coimbra, Obidos and to see the waves along the coast. Siesta s customer service was exceptional. The instructions for the van were really thorough and Nicolas was very friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely use Siesta again. Obrigado.

Siësta Campers Absolutely recommended ! Our flight to Lisbon was seriously delayed so we would not be able to pick up the two hired VW Californias in time with all passengers Many thanks. Michal and Joanna stayed way beyond closing time ! The two vans were great . Took their time for a good explanation of the features The vans looked similar but there was a big difference manual or electric lifting of the roof. For us as an older couple the electric one would have been easier it takes quite some effort to lift it manual. The other van we hired for our daughter her husband and kids had the electric system. Not a big deal but we ll check next time We will definitely choose Siesta Campers next time ! Friendly helpful all the time !

We had an amazing time in the siesta camper (Atlantic). When we picked up the van the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We felt comfortable from the first minute on. They explained everything patiently and in detail. The van was amazing but you should have in mind that the people who used the van before are responsible that everything is clean. In our case it wasn t super clean, but acceptable. 26 days on the road were great and we always felt like we would have an helping hand if needed. The website is well structured and informative, so even if you ve never camped like this before you feel well prepared (like us ;)) Thanks for everything dear staff, we are grateful for all the new memories we will never forget & 100% recommend siesta campers.

Il van era pulitissimo ed attrezzato, unica pecca il letto sul tetto del van era difettoso e difficile da aprire e chiudere, ma poi i ragazzi hanno confermato il tutto e si sono messi all opera per sistemare! Consigliato!

Overall a nice little van, if a bit exspensive. The upper sleeping area is extremely difficult to open and to get latched again. That should be fixed. Also the ignitor for the stove was broken and the matches i eventually found in the van were so old they crumbled when I tried to use them. I cant wait to see how the owner responds to minimize any responsibility for these issues on their end!!

Le rapport qualité prix est très correct, le choix de van est présent. Le van était très propre et optimisé pour profiter pleinement des vacances. Véhicule en très bon état extérieur et intérieur, avec peu de kilomètres, bonne consommation. Facilité de prise en charge du véhicule et de restitution. Cependant, plusieurs points négatifs lors de la location, le service client laisse à désirer, en effet, nous avons été avertis d un retard de 2h de prise en charge du véhicule 24h avant la prise en charge. Lors de notre arrivée, nous avons été déçu de voir que le van qui nous a été attribué n était pas celui réservé et qu aucun arrangement n a été possible, en essayant de savoir si le van réservé était disponible la commerciale nous a clairement fait comprendre qu il était impossible d en obtenir un autre. Aucune compensation ou geste commercial n a été proposé pour cette déconvenue, nous avons dû demander une compensation qui a tout de même été acceptée. Lors de la prise en charge du van, nous avons bons attendu 30 minutes sans que personne ne vienne vers nous. De plus, 2 jours après l utilisation du réservoir d eau nous nous sommes aperçus que celui ci était percé, en revanche le court délai de 12h pour signaler tout dysfonctionnement nous a freiné de contacter Siesta Campers. Nous avons signalé ce problème lors de la restitution, et encore une fois aucun geste commercial n a été proposé en compensation.

I recently rented the all-electric VW ID. Buzz from Siesta Campers and had a fantastic experience. The vehicle was a joy to drive, and everything went smoothly. The Siesta Campers team was kind, helpful, and maintained excellent communication throughout the rental process. Highly recommend! Portugal is a good place for road trips, especially in low season. Personal tip: look for Lidl for charging points. They are really good and reliable.

DO NOT RENT THROUGH SIESTA CAMPERS LISBON! We thought we were having a great experience through Siesta, up until 1 week after drop off when we discovered we are being made to pay 151 euro for an already broken tap. Unfortunately, at pickup, we didnt inspect if the tap worked or not (as they brush past everything super quickly and make you feel confident that everything is in working order), and thus didnt discover this until night 1. We superglued an already superglued tap which allowed it to work just enough for the 6 nights. At drop off, we were met with a lot of sympathy and sorry that we didnt have a fully functioning tap, and assumed it would be simple wear & tear for the company to cover. But no, the photographic evidence from night 1 wasnt enough, as we didnt report ot within their 12 hour policy .... (what if youre out of data range like we were???). Absolute garbage and they know it.....just an absolute money grab from foreigners. They know what theyre doing.

Siesta Campers is a professional and great place to rent a van. We rented a completely new van for a month. On our second day we found that a lever, that raises the roof stopped working (it worked when we started), which appeared to be a fabrication error. We werent far, so we went back and Siesta campers fixed it in 20 min providing super service and then they deducted a days rent along with the toll cost for the bridge. The van was in super condition, but this was an error they couldnt foresee, however the way it was handled is exactly how it should be, in our opinion. So in this case worth paying for a real company, compared to private rentals on apps. Otherwise no problems and a great month in Portugal with unlimited km to explore!!

The staff at siesta campers were friendly and explained everything well. The video with instructions on the camper was very helpful. We were a bit disappointed to hear that the toll device cost 20 euro to use plus the toll fee on top of that.

Beware! Cheaters!We received the van after a short introduction (15-20 min) They opended the kitchen tap for a few seconds, the bathroom tap/sink haven t been checked in front of us. No advice to check the interior. It was generally sloppy maintained (no toilet chemicals; after the first kilometers in the van we noticed a really bad smell/ like feces and we didn t use the toilet or the water tap before; no water hose for water refill; later we noticed a totally clogged drain in the kitchen). We also got a confirmation that the van would come with epoxy surfboards. It didn t. After a long discussion ( it was not my fault, but my colleagues ) they gave us a small discount, which was pointless regarding the fact that we spent the afternoon with looking for surfboards rather than starting our trip. At 12pm we looked for the first time into the bathroom and noticed a broken sink. We informed immediately Siesta in the following morning. After returning the van, they did not notice the damaged sink, we had to emphasize the damage, even then they needed to check further to notice it. It is absolutely obvious to me that they have no thorough check protocol or don t stick to it. before pickup. Instead they accused us for damaging the sink and charged me over 600 for a damage we did NOT cause (and we had full coverage insurance). They payment was performed by charging my credit card WITHOUT my permission. They never made an effort to contact the previous clients. I have never seen a repair bill, and 600 seems ridiculous. I rented a van 8 years ago and had contact with the owners back then. They were really nice people and cared a lot. Things have changed fundamentally, it seems like they are loosing control after a considerable growth (which i totally begrudge to them). I run a company with over 40 employees and 3 locations by myself and know about quality control issues we face every day. But there is a lot of homework left. Contacting my attorney because of unauthorized credit card payment and dubious contractual basis.

Was practical and easy to use even for beginners.

They give you a camper without steps, without even making sure youre capable of driving it, without any explanation... and then their customers cause damage! Be careful, because in the Algarve, the GNR, local police, likes to impose hefty fines on siesta campers...evidently it is you who are false; do you mean to say that its not true that you dont give explanations to people? Ah yes, the 15 minutes vidéo Do you mean to say that its not true that you dont explain that the wild is banned in Portugal? Maybe its you who are fake...if you want I can give you the video

Our Siesta VW Camper was amazing! The Siesta Campers team are very thorough with their explanations with the workings of the van. The shared pantry is a great idea- a bit like paying it forward for food and basic items. It was a bonus that we could pick our van up in Lisbon and drop it off in Porto. Our experience with siesta campers was perfect. We felt in good hands at the pick up location in lisbon. The staff was super kind, the van was clean and in a very good condition. We had some questions before and during the trip and we were very happy with the customer service because we got very quick answers and the staff was super flexible concerning the pick up time. We had a super sensory experience on a road trip in Portugal and the decision to do the caravan trip was so successful. The guys at siesta campers gave us wonderful service and lots of tips about the places we went to. The car was clean and tidy, in new condition and in perfect working order. Its just a shame that we didnt know there was an option for a roof that closes automatically because we had a bit of a hard time with the manual closing.

We had a great experience with Siesta from start to finish. The booking process was painless and easy to choose from options. We ended up getting bedding at the time we checked the van out, as we ended up not being able to fit sheets in our luggage. There were timely email reminders before checking out, with a video and a reminder of the return process the day before turning it back in. For those traveling with kids, they have great exchange where people leave items that others can use in a very organized corner of their shop, so we probably could have not flown our sand toys, training potty, etc. Everything on the van itself worked flawlessly and we had 0 issues. All of their policies and pricing is up front and it is very clear that if you damage certain things on the van, there will likely be fees involved, so that s just a risk you have to be comfortable with when renting.

This was my first campervan trip with my two kids. It was amazing. Siesta Campers was awesome. Super helpful every step of the way from booking, to travel suggestions to check in and check out. We rented the Grand California and it was perfect. It was in perfect state, super clean and a great vehicle even for someone with no experience driving this type of van. I highly recommend Siesta Campers and encourage families with small kids to explore this type of vacation...really fun and great bonding time.

My wife and I never really liked renting out cars on vacations or business trips. Or any vehicle for that matter. One and only reason is that theres always a catch when renting a vehicle. There is no catch with the Siesta Campers crew. Its a 100% transparent transaction! And an additional value is that every Siesta Campers team member makes you feel like part of their team. Im absolutely thrilled! The whole Siesta Campers team was incredibly personable, picking up and returning the van worked flawlessly and without any complications. Our evaluation is consistently positive. We were on the road for 9 days with a VW camper. The price-performance ratio is good. Very nice and helpful staff. Communication was excellent. Very quick answers to questions before and also during the rental period. The camper was clean and technically faultless when handed over and ready on the agreed date. You can use the motorway and get the bill at the end. Before one rents the camper, there is a photo documentation of already existing damages. This relaxes the situation. You can report undiscovered damage 24 hours later. Before handing over the camper, it must be filled up with petrol and cleaned from the outside with a water jet (car wash prohibited). Many petrol stations have this option. The acceptance was easy and accommodating. We can recommend Siesta Campers without reservation. Bernd and Heike Unsere Bewertung ist durchweg positiv. Man kann die Autobahn benutzen und bekommt zum Schluss die Abrechnung. Bevor man den Camper mietet, erfolgt eine Fotodokumentation über bereits vorhandene Schäden. Das entspannt die Situation. Man kann 24 Stunden unentdeckte Schäden nachmelden. Vor der Camper Abgabe muss er vollgetankt sein und von außen per Wasserstrahl (Waschanlage verboten) gereinigt werden. A really great experience from start to finish. We rented one of their Siesta camper vans for a week, doing a trip from Lisbon to Porto. Their communication and responsiveness to our questions and request for additional items leading up to the pick up was very good. The pick up and induction process went smoothly and was informative. The other nice thing was that we had forgotten to pack some things (coffee, sugar, spices) which we were going to buy en route - not to worry, they had space set aside which was stocked with items which previous renters had left behind and we were told to help ourselves. Their recommendations for overnight camping spots was excellent- they had done their homework. The VW van was well equipped, easy to drive and suitable for all our camping requirements as a couple. Its compact size and their unlimited km offer enabled us to travel far and wide and explore many of the little villages along the way. We handed our baby back reluctantly at the end of our journey but have set our hearts on doing more of these road trips. Our thanks to Bruno and the team for helping us create some wonderful memories

We rented two California VW for a week and we really had a great time. The Vans were great, have everything you need, really well thought through space and all you need inside (eg. bedsheets, fridge, plates etc). Just keep in mind that the older California dont have a shower, which was a big deal for us, fortunately we got a new one, but our friends didnt have it in the older model. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Hey Guys, we ve tried it a couple of times to get a response that made us and your company satisfied. Lemme start: we ve received our camper in a (not mint) but ok condition. We took photos as we would ve been in a zoo. Any kind of damage was recognised and recorded by pictures. Unfortunately our van (respectively the battery system) broke. We were asked to drive to the nearest mechanic. And we did drove to the so called mechanic. It was a no show. We ve waited about an hour and a half and no one showed up. We ve decided to continue our holidays with a broken car battery in the middle of nowhere . The headquarter told us to use some ice cubes and enjoy our trip. By now we ve received a neat amount of our 1200 booking amount as compensation. We re still waiting for an appropriate compensation.

Très mauvaise expérience avec Siesta campers. Location d un van California pendant 15j. Aucun accueil, Van défectueux : service d eau hors d usage, warnings allumés en permanence, perte de pression constante d un pneu ect.. Et surtout aucun service client digne de ce nom. Il apparaît normal à Siesta Campers que nous devions passer la moitié du temps de nos vacances à leur signaler les problèmes et les régler à leur place.

Camper rental companies you can find everywhere, but a company with excellent service is a rarity. We had the chance to rent a motor home from Siesta campers, partly accidentally, partly by checking other reviews. And the reviews were true: Before checking in and booking, Lisa and Bruno helped a lot, very patient with every questions we had, the live chat possibility on their web page is a great idea to clear every detail and stay in touch. I recommend it to use it. We had a self pick up in Faro office and except for some minor issues, everything went great. The motor home was in the new condition, well equipped and clean. At the drop off office in Lisbon we were greeted from Joana and Regis, both very helpful and friendly, chaxking out was hassle free, unlike somw other rentals they were nit searching for random excuses to charge you extra... they even helped us to pay online our toll All in all I would say this is how a customer-oriented business must run.

Abbiamo prenotato 8giorni con questo bellissimo camper , peccato che non hanno manutenzione , dei difetti te ne accorgi durante il viaggio , vivendolo ! Ed A Siesta Campers sembra normale che dobbiamo passare del tempo delle nostre vacanze segnalando loro problemi e risolvendoli per loro. Siamo stati rimborsati per la pochissima pulizia del camper . Sotto il materasso un dito di sporco . Ma non prenoteremo più con loro i nostri viaggi perché al prezzo di 200 a notte quasi come un hotel 5 stelle il servizio che hai è da 2 stelle . Prezzo troppo alto . Mi dispiace molto . E mi è dispiaciuto per il nostro viaggio .

Our trip in Portugal with Siesta Campers, specifically de Siesta Beach one, was amazing! We spent 7 days, going from Lisbon to Nazaré (obviusly stopping in so many spots in the coast like Carcavelos, Praia Sao Juliao, Peniche, Ericeira...), and after that we went to the south to met the Algarve. Almost all days having breakfast, lunch and dinner at our van, and slepping in some nice spots. You feel a lot of freedom doing vacations in this way, and the people of Siesta Campers was so kindly! A must if youre thinking on a trip like this!

My second time using Siesta Campers, and I find them to be honest, transparent and reasonable value for money, considering the quality of the van. A very welcoming team, and great handover with everything explained. Thanks again for a terrific experience.

Ive traveled in many different ways, but nothing quite compares to the adventure I had with Siesta Campers. We had a wonderful experience driving the coast of Portugal. Siesta Campers were extremely accommodating and made us feel comfortable on our trip. Blij dat we bij Siesta Campers een VW California huurden. Nette en complete camper. Zeer duidelijke uitleg bij uitgifte en alle beschadigingen werden goed vastgelegd. Camper rijdt als een luxe auto. Enige dat we misten, was ingebouwde navigatie. Zijn zo tevreden met Siesta Campers dat we voor de zomer van 2024 weer een camper bij hen gaan huren!

Great experience from pickup to drop off. Was their older model, but still extremely nice and all I needed really. Had a little issue with the water pump, but they took care of it quick and compensated me for the lost time and fuel without me needing to ask. Also, Regis is the man! Extremely helpful and easy to talk to. Even went out of his way to make me some delicious coffee. Just wish there could have been more specific instructions regarding the jet wash place. Only took coins no smaller than 1 euro, which meant driving around looking for a place to make change.

The people at Siesta Campers were very helpful and kind. They secured a great deal for us to take the van from Faro to Lisbon one way. As a result, we were free to explore the breathtaking Algarve coast and historical Alentejo region. In 946km the van drove smoothly and our compact Siesta Beach was stocked with everything we needed for making sunset dinners, working online and surfing. We would rent from them again.

5 stars for an amazing 10 day trip in the lavish Grand California. Minus 2 stars for the questionable customer service. My partner and I arrived at our scheduled pickup time to pick up our van. After a brief intro to the camper and an inventory of the camper s imperfections, you re set off on your way. Our on-time arrival must have caught the staff off guard, because they sent us off with half full gray water and potable water tanks and no bedding. To their benefit, they brought the bedding to our initial campsite. At the end of our trip, the company offered a slightly later return time, which was lovely. But they also informed us we had to wash the van, which had not been conveyed to us at pick up when we told drop off procedure. The drop off only got weirder, with staff inspecting every. single. inch. of the exterior of the van for any possible scratch. Staff were climbing on the front hood and scrubbing marks with dry rags. Border Patrol does not inspect bags this closely. Your girl looking for evidence you cheated does not inspect your phone this closely. This thorough analysis - which involved switching back and forth from English to Portuguese in a clear attempt to hide the conversation from us - resulted in staff trying to make us explain how a documented windshield chip got bigger. Of course, windshield chips grow if not treated. The return process ended with a female employee - who had been speaking to me the entire time and knew the reservation was in my name - trying to explain the finer contractual details to my male partner. In summary: amazing campers, wild inconsistencies in customer service.

Renting from Siesta campers brought my trip to the next level! The retro vans are beautiful and it was so fun to explore the Algarve coast in one. The interior is organized really well and comes with all of the materials you need for van-life including a cozy bed that converts into a couch, a table top and kitchen basics! I loved the nostalgic, unique experience of renting one of these old-school vans for my trip!

We have had one of the most wonderful weeks I could wish for with the VW T2 Brasilia in the Algarve. It has been the perfect vehicle for our camping adventures and it was very practical to eat, sleep and store stuff. I would definitely recommend it to everyone that likes classic cars and camping. I will come back and choose Siesta again.

Der Camper ist ein Traum, komplett ausgestattet und noch dazu fast neu Zudem sammeln die Mitarbeiter nicht aufgebrauchte Lebensmittel und sonstige praktischen Campingartikel von anderen Gästen, die man kostenlos mitnehmen/nutzen kann. We rented the cheapest option available which is Siesta Beach but dont let the lowest price fool you, because this car is absolutely brilliant in every way. Its big, comfortable and, above all, totally reliable. And so is the whole company. We had the car for 5 nights and everything went without a hitch. Now I am just waiting for the 200 euro deposit to be returned, but I believe this last issue will be as smooth as everything else.

War eine mega tolle Erfahrung mit dem VW T6 Beach an der Küste von Lissabon bis Faro runter zu fahren und im landesinneren wieder zurück. Bestimmt ein Urlaub den ich nie vergessen werde. Das Personal von Siesta Campers ist super freundlich und nehmen sich viel Zeit um alles zu erklären. Das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist auf alle Fälle sehr gut. Der Van war mit allem ausgestattet was man so für die Reise benötigt.

Great experience! The vans were equipped with everthing needed and well thougt trough! Before getting the van, the employees made sure to photograph every minor scratch on the van and included the photos in the contract. The employees explained everthing and were really friendly and patient with us. Make sure you dont only have a credit card, but also the application to authorize the payment online (Same as needed for the online payment beforehand)

Very nice experience with them, end to end. They accommodated easily to our early pick up and drop offs. Lisbon office staff were super nice and customer success team was available even overnight. (Thx Bruno). The vans are modern, well maintened and we did not face any issue during our 5 days rentals.

I can t say enough good things about Siesta Campers! We initially planned this trip in 2019 to travel in May 2020. We had to postpone our trip and Siesta Campers held our deposit so we could reschedule when we were able to travel again. We rented The Atlantic and it was perfect for us (2 adults). It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. It was such a pleasure to be able to pack up the van and head off to the next destination. The whole team took really good care of us before, during and after our rental. The thing that sets Siesta Campers apart from other camper van rental companies I researched is they provide everything you need for sleeping and cooking included in the rental cost. Plus, they provide any extras you may want for rent like surfboards, BBQ, bikes, etc. Clearly they have built the business out of their love of travel. We enjoyed our trip so much we plan on renting with Siesta Campers for another trip next year!

From start to finish, the staff at Siesta Campers were super helpful with us! They called to answer any questions and help us with the reservation! The delivery day was super fast, the experience with the van was unforgettable! In the end, we forgot some things inside the van and they even called us to pick them up! I highly recommend it!!

I was on the road for 5 days with a VW California T6.1 from Siesta Campers and had a great time! The employees are very nice and helpful. At pickup you get a full introduction to the vehicle so that the vacation can start right away! In the van is also everything you need so when camping! I was now already the second time with Siesta Campers in Portugal on the road and would gladly do it again at any time!

Frais cachés : lusage de leur boîtier télépéage - qui est dans le van par défaut - est facturé 15 euros, et on ne nous la jamais précisé. Du coup on se retrouve avec 22 euros débités de la caution pour 7 malheureux euros de péage alors quon rend un van nickel - et quon sait payer lautoroute avec CB aussi, hein. Et leur directeur Nico, un grand champion, il te fait perdre 30 min de vacances à tappeler pour répéter cest écrit partout sur le contrat tout en faisant des parallèles foireux... Dommage car le staff était top.

The price transparency was really appreciated (the cost you see is the cost, no extra charges for unexpected things before checkout). In short: siesta campers is one of the best rental companies out there. Ive travel a lot around the world and had some not so great experiences with car rental companies throughout the years, but not with siesta campers. from the moment i first got in touch with them until the last goodbye they everyone were super nice, attentive and welcoming. because the van is a vintage camper its takes a little time to adjust to driving it. so the workers at siesta made sure to brief me on everything the van includes and they even go with you for a ride around the block so that you get the hang of driving it. overall, the rental experience was effortless and very enjoyable, which is kind of rare these days.

Siesta Campers is absolutely, by far the best van rental company in Portugal. Their service is amazing and their staff are some of the most genuine people Ive ever met. It was my first experience with van-life and I dont regret choosing Siesta Campers at all. Their vans are absolutely incredible and are equipped with everything you possibly need for your trip. The experience was like none other and they were always there if I had any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend getting the Wi-Fi router (for an extra fee) as it can be extremely useful for foreigners that dont have a local SIM. We had the Siesta Beach Van and it had everything you need from a running sink to an outdoor shower to a mini refrigerator. I cant wait to come back to Portugal and rent with them again! 100/10 highly recommend them if you are ever looking for an adventure in Portugal :)

Rented an old VW van and all went really good. Super nice costumer service. Car didnt start one morning immediatly a nearby mecanic was on his way, the car already worked before he arrived though, apparently those old VW vans are sensible to humid nights :). Really transparant and super nice van experience.

Great service and really nice campervans. Although I had a little bit of an issue with the customer service about some miscalculated toll fees, but that could be resolved without discussion. Definitely I will consider siesta campers again.

Myself and two mates picked up the VW Salvador for a 5 day trip along the coast of the Algarve. We had planned to travel Lisbon to Lisbon but decided to do Lisbon to Faro instead. The van took a day or two of driving to get used to, but once you got the hang of it it was just pure adventure. Going from driving the streets of London, UK with power steering to driving the narrow roads of Lisbon & Lagos without was quite hilarious at times, we will remember this trip for years to come. Not only was it an experience, the van was comfy, powerful enough for the coast, surprisingly speedy and super sexy for photos (as you can see!). Thanks to the Siesta team for making the process easy, being incredibly thorough with their checks at the start to make sure we werent charge for any scratches at the end and for overall brilliant service. Great place to rent from ! They are super friendly and were very responsive when we had a battery issue with our van. The vans are well equipped, though we did miss a hose to fill up the water tank. The van we got didn t have a built in table, so instead they gave us a camping table which worked inside as well, but wasn t optimal.

The assistance we received with most of our queries was friendly and helpful. The van was clean and comfortable, generally well equipped and drove well. However we could have done with a more flexible drop-off policy and an hour or so of tolerance - we had a really rushed morning driving into Lisbon from the Alentejo with youngsters on board - and it appears the van was not immediately booked to go out on the same day. But we did enjoy our 5 day road trip exploring southern Portugal and the flexibility of doing it with Siesta Campers. Thank you for all your help.

Absolutely great experience overall. The guys are very friendly and want you to have a good time. We had a brandnew and very spacious VW Atlantic van with everything one needs. The car is very pleasant to drive, it´s not too bulky for the smaller cities and still provides enough space inside the van. Even the fridge was running 24h /7 without problems. After all, we may come back here again.

Amazing, best way of explore Portugal

I did two relocations via this office, dropping one van off from Faro and taking another to Porto. The dropoff wasnt terrible other than they didnt seem to be expecting me. I drove past the unmarked building before I had to call and get them to lead me to the office. But no probs. When I came back to pick up the van to take to Porto they again were not expecting me even though I could see my name and pickup time on their office calendar. They said they thought I was coming several hours later. Uh, no. The guy working kept offering to call Nicholas and ask him about pickup times. First of all, I dont know who Nicholas is. Secondly, I have a contract with my pickup time and I dont understand why no one reads it. The van was not ready, was dirty, the worker was getting someone else their van. I had to wait over an hour to pick up the van. This is the second time my van pickup was delayed by hours. The guy told me the Porto office would call me and they would pick up the van from Porto train station. I arrive at the station in Porto and of course no one is there. I call them and have to drop it off to yet another unmarked location. The dropoff didnt take too long but the miscommunications are so annoying. The vans are nice though. The workers are friendly but they keep deferring to the owners or managers who seem to be all over the place. No one takes responsibility and honors the pickup times and conditions. Its always someone elses fault. It would really be a shame to book a van for your vacation and have your rental period cut short because this company does not communicate with each other or the customers.
