Terrible customer service. I rented a car in Greece through this company. Should have got a Peugeot 208 or similar with a pick up from the airport terminal. Paid more for terminal pick up than other shuttle bus equivalents. Arrived at airport, no car waiting. Eventually a shuttle bus appears to take us to our car. We didn't get a new-ish 208, we got an ancient Hyundai i30 with 370,000Km on the clock. Every panel and wheel scratched, dented or damaged. One rear door didn't open from inside. Petrol cap cover broken, had to flick it open with a credit car. Despite having breakdown cover included, we were not allowed to take the car until we paid €50 in cash for 'their roadside assistance'. I reported this to VIPcars.com on the day of collection and they offered no help and no solution. Multiple emails back and forth until they just closed the case. Appalling service. They clearly have no ability to monitor the cars they arrange rental for. Avoid at all costs Further to your reply which is a complete lie. I emailed your company on the day of pick up. The customer service (if you can call it that) reference number was 7072201. I sent at least 8 emails between the day of pick up & the 28th Aug when you autonomously closed my case. I do still have the email trail. A free upgrade!! To an old, damaged Hyundai with 370,000Km on the clock. An upgrade from what? A skip?? I also booked a terminal pick up, not a wait for a shuttle bus and I see you haven't mentioned the €50 cash I had to pay. A do still have the paperwork for that just in case you want to lie about that too! As I said, appalling customer service especially when you call your customers liars!! Avoid at all costs

I had a very pleasant experience with Avec Rent a Car in Izmir. The staff was incredibly friendly, although they didn t speak English, which made communication a bit tricky. However, the service was quick, and despite the language barrier, they were still very helpful. The car I received was new, clean, practical, and a joy to drive. Although it wasn t the exact model I had reserved, it was an equivalent, and the only downside was that the trunk space was smaller than expected. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was excellent. If there s one thing that could be improved, it would be the communication in English, but this didn t take away from the positive experience. I would definitely rent from Avec Rent a Car again in the future.

5* review ! We use VIPCars.com, as they continually offer the best prices for car hire from Stansted. Additionally, there s no extras that appear after the hire, such as additional local pick-up fees etc, which are charged by some competitors. Highly recommended.
We booked a car one month before pick up. At the pick up point FLEXCARS said, that they have no cars and offer no others options. They said call to VIPCARS and explain with them. Zero help, no money refund. I concider this is cheating. Reservation no.G82859123

I would advise against renting any vehicles from this company!! I had an unfortunate experience with one of their sellers and communicated my concerns to both the seller and VIP Cars. I reached out to VIP customer service multiple times and sent emails, but I only received a templated response indicating that they COULD NOT assist further!! I shared my experience, and their response was to inform the seller, who has not accepted any responsibility. Contacted VIP customer agent named Jasmine Flores and what a pathetic customer support from her! All she is saying is I will take care of everything but in the end ZERO result. Stay away from Them!!
What a great ambassador of this company - excellent customer service, helpful , emphatic, knowledgeable and compassionate- the ambassador name is Bella . all the grievance that I had due to their online booking system was practically erased by this girl .
When i booked this car for Miami Airport, the price offered by VipCars was 4-5 times lower than the average of the other offers (200USD for 17 Days compared to all Other offers being in the range of 800-1000 USD) but i decided to accept the risk since i booked through a huge platform (skyscanner) which I thought would back up the contract. At the rental car office I was told that my drivers license is not liable for the rent because it is a local one (issued in the European Union) and not an international one. Being after 15 hours of flight, i was so tired that i couldnt find the terms of conditions signed where it was actually written that ONLY in case that the drivers license is not in latin letters and not clearly visible a drivers license, then i should provide an international drivers license OR a translation of this one. I called the VIP cars call center which stated again a different story than the conditions but same story with the clerk at the rental booth, either international drivers license or no car . Then, for the price of 1500 USD for the same period, my drivers license was just fine. I asked why. Answer: because we do at the counter a new booking which has other type of conditions than the online booking. Problem was, my booking was like 4 months in advance, so very good price, new booking would mean last minute Christmas so extremely expensive. Nobody seemed to care. The person on the VIPcars callcenter confirmed me that this is very normal and being one day before Christmas, there are no other cars available at other partners unfortunately. I left the scam booth immediately, went to the first other rental booth in Miami airport and got a car for the same period for 980 USD plus taxes. Incredible experience! Please stay away. One noteworthy experience: rental car provider was CarQRentals. The google maps does not have this business on its maps at Miami, when you see such things, it is a very very bad sign!
The whole rental experience with VIPCars.com and the rental supplier (AgTran) was smooth and professional. Communication was clear throughout from the Rental Supplier staff. Rental Supplier staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Car pickup/dropoff at Ipoh Airport (in state of Perak, Malaysia).

I booked a car through VIP Cars for my holiday in Turkey, but when I got to Antalya, the local car hire company really let me down. They provided awful service and asked for things that didn t make sense. I am absolutely appaled by the experience with this company. We booked a car at the airport in Catagna and after landing we could neither reach nor speak to the local provider of vip cars. After 10 phone calls attempts and speaking to VIP cars customer service we had to take a competitor car from another company direct from the airport for 5X the price. I have been trying to get a refund for the booking from VIP cars for the past 2 months without any success. They are claiming to wait for the answer on the claim from the local supplier but this is not an excuse since I booked with VIP and not with the local supplier. I have emailed and sent all documents at least 10 times and they simply closed down the ticket with no explanation. This is a clear case of fraud.

My experience with both VIP Cars and their supplier, Rent 4 U, was both disappointing and infuriating, and I would strongly advise against using their services. I booked a Volkswagen T-Cross or similar (SUV category) through VIP Cars. However, when I arrived at Rent 4 Us reception desk, I was informed that only a much smaller Volkswagen Polo was available. This substitution caused significant inconvenience and discomfort, as it was extremely difficult to fit all our luggage, and my family was uncomfortably squeezed into the compact car. To make matters worse, the representative at Rent 4 U showed no accountability, offering no discount or meaningful assistance, and directed me to VIP Cars instead. While VIP Cars customer service team initially responded politely, their approach has been frustratingly slow and ineffective. Despite multiple emails, photographic evidence, and detailed explanations, they have not resolved the issue or offered any compensation. It s been days, and I m still stuck waiting for them to investigate with the supplier. What s even more infuriating is the supplier s false claim that they included winter tyres as a gesture of goodwill. In reality, they asked if I wanted winter chains for an additional fee, making their statement not only misleading but entirely untrue. This level of inefficiency, dishonesty and lack of urgency is unacceptable. The dishonesty from Rent 4 U and the lack of urgency from VIP Cars demonstrate a total disregard for their customers. What should have been a straightforward car rental turned into a stressful and disappointing experience due to their failures. I strongly advise against using VIP Cars or Rent 4 U for car rentals. Their poor service, dishonesty, and lack of accountability made for an upsetting experience that I wouldn t wish on anyone.

A la réception, cest une tout autre voiture qui mattend (un minibus) et le prix a doublé. Une quinzaine de mails échangés pour lire que je ne serais pas remboursé de mon acompte. Mécontente, je mets un avis sur Google et tout à coup, ils acceptent de me rembourser si et seulement si je supprime mon avis sur Google. Une vraie pratique descrocs.

Attention les tarifs affichés sont trompeurs. Je déconseille vivement! Je ne recommande pas de passer par cette enseigne pour louer une voiture. Ma réservation a été annulé le jour au je suis arrivée à laéroport, je nai pas pu récupérer ma voiture et jai galéré toute une journée pour essayer de trouver une autre location ailleurs. De plus, VIP ma pris 27 en plus sur ma réservation quelle ne ma même pas remboursé. Cette enseigne nest pas fiable.

Although they stated that there was no problem with our reservation 2 days ago and sent the confirmation document, when we arrived at Belgrade airport, we learned that our reservation was canceled by the company because there was no suitable vehicle. We were left without a vehicle. No help or compensation was provided. A suitable company if you like to gamble.
Had a great experience low miles on vehicle great customer services. Price was awesome. Will rent with you again.
Be careful. Scam. We never got our car in Mauritius and had to go to Europcar instead. VIP cars refused to refund our deposit back

I initially left a poor review on TrustPilot because of some issues with the VIP Cars website, in particular its persistence in adding in (and back in after removal) the premium insurance cover. Unfortunately, TrustPilot is not enabling me to update that review so Im now putting a review on Google with an update. Johnson from VIP cars responded very quickly to my poor review and understood my gripe. More importantly, he has promised to speak with his team to see if the website flow can be amended. I did go ahead with my booking (without the premium insurance ) and everything else has gone smoothly so far, though I havent actually collected the rental yet. Depending on how that goes I may have another update, but so far Ive been very impressed with speed and attentiveness of the customer service.
Robbie did a great job of recovering my lost voucher - and followed up when the website lost connection to make sure I received it! Zaara assisted with my second enquiry to change the pickup time and car seat size, and emailed the supplier personally to confirm. Great service both times I ve contacted the chat team. Would book again.

I had a terrible experience with this company. I booked a car, paying a £100 non-refundable deposit. When I arrived at the airport to collect it, I was told the car was no longer available because I was late. While I understand I was delayed, keeping the entire £100 deposit of the total price of £440 feels unfair and excessive, especially since I had already paid extra for the option to cancel the booking up to 2 hours before collection. Instead of receiving the service I paid for, I ended up driving 100km for nothing and lost the deposit. This company s policy seems to prioritize profit over fairness, with no consideration for genuine circumstances. I wont use this company again and do not recommend it.
