Mantenha longe desta empresa, totalmente sem nenhuma preocupação com o cliente, infelizmente não verifiquei os reviews a antes aqui, se tivesse lido antes os comentários jamais teria relacionado com esta empresa, alugam auto caravana em outros sites aleatórios por 1 euros para você trabalhar para eles e levar o veiculo para outra cidade, mas não conseguem lhe entregar o veiculo por falta de capacidade organizacional da empresa que escraviza um funcionário (que por sinal nao tem culpa e foi muito prestativo) que sozinhos tem que fazer todas as funções da empresa, triste realidade em pleno ano 2025 na europa, sem nenhuma estrutura de armazenamento dos veículos, então colocam os veículos em terreno rústico com muita lama impossibilitando a saída dos veículos, e o problema maior não e a desorganização , ficam jogando a culpa na na empresa que fez o booking, sendo que os veículos pertencem a eles e são controlado por eles, sem qualquer interesse de dar uma solução me fizeram tomar um imenso prejuízo pois teria um compromisso de trabalho na cidade onde deixaria o veiculo, em momento nenhum com centenas de veículos no estacionamento disponíveis, tentaram arranjar uma solução , mesmo sendo uma locação de reposição de veiculo pensei que o tratamento foi por a empresa não ter lucro, mas um motorista grátis para transportar o veiculo, lembrando que tinham vários, percebi que varias pessoas se sentiram da mesmo forma pagando muito dinheiro mais de 6000 euros. então entendi que eles são péssimos mesmo, evitem esta empresa, se você não quiser estragar suas férias. verifiquem as queixas no trustpilot and tripadvisor

Leider eine absolut enttäuschende Erfahrung. Extrem unhygienisch, ausgedrückte Insekten an den Fliegengittern, tote kleine Tierchen und Haare am Bett, Spuren von ausgedrückten Zigaretten in der Nasszelle, notdürftig reparierte Sitze, unbehandelter Steinschlag in der Frontscheibe, Schimmel an Rollos & auch auf dem Boden, Rost, Kühlschrank absolut widerwärtig und nach Mülltonne stinkend! Bettzeug usw nicht im hohen Preis enthalten, muss extra gebucht werden! Auch die Glasflasche ist dann nicht mal im Paket enthalten und kostet noch mal extra 35 . Gestelltes Besteck und Geschirr ölig, unhygienisch und nicht abgewaschen. Pfanne komplett abgenutzt und nicht brauchbar. Nach diskutieren eine neue erhalten. Während der Fahrt öffneten sich immer wieder die Schränke und die Nasszellentür, sodass Besteck und sogar scharfe Messer unkontrolliert durch das Wohnmobil flogen eine extreme Sicherheitsgefahr! Auch mein Koffer wurde während der Fahrt durch das Fahrzeug geschleudert, da sich das Kofferfach öffnete. Zudem war der Gasschlauch undicht und notdürftig mit Gaffa-Tape repariert, sodass das ganze Wohnmobil nach Gas roch lebensgefährlich! So etwas darf bei einem Mietfahrzeug nicht passieren. Zusätzlich waren die Dachfenster undicht, sodass es nachts ins Fahrzeug regnete. Der Wassertank war ebenfalls undicht, wodurch sich unter dem Bett eine große Pfütze bildete. Mein iPad, das ich dort sicher verstaut hatte wenn ich das Fahrzeug verließ, wurde dadurch komplett beschädigt ein Totalschaden. Der Anbieter übernahm dafür jedoch keinerlei Verantwortung!!! Besonders enttäuschend war auch der Umgang mit meinen Problemen. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren zwar freundlich und baten mich, ihnen eine 5-Sterne-Bewertung zu geben, weil sie mir angeblich mit dem Support helfen würden letztendlich habe ich jedoch KEINERLEI Unterstützung erhalten, obwohl sie mir vorher versichert und zugesagt wurde. Den Camper habe ich sogar einen Tag eher abgegeben, da ich es keinen Tag länger ausgehalten habe. Eine Nacht schlief ich sogar im Hotel. Für diesen hohen Preis erwarte ich ein sicheres und funktionierendes Fahrzeug sowie einen zuverlässigen Kundenservice. Beides war hier nicht gegeben. NIE wieder!!

Les personnes gérant la boutique sont fort sympathiques et accueillantes, mais le système indiecamper nest pas au top. Nous avons eu quelques soucis lors de notre location. La boutique nous a dit quen cas de problème, nous pouvons directement la joindre par un numéro whatsapp, ce que jai fait. Et à chaque fois la boutique a mis plus dun jour à me répondre, juste pour me dire de joindre lassistance indiecamper sur leur site internet. Et même une fois sur place à la boutique, jai eu le droit à la même réponse, que la boutique ne pouvait rien faire pour moi et que je devais contacter lassistance sur le site indiecamper. La boutique ne sert absolument à rien en cas de problème du coup. Uniquement à récupérer et déposer son véhicule. Nous avons pris loption bouteille de gaz, nous nen avions pas. Au jour de deux jour nous nous sommes retrouvé à court de gaz et avons perdu 2h à trouver une boutique vendant la bonne référence de bouteille. Et pour se faire rembourser, jai dû voir avec lassistance en ligne indiecamper. La démarche est encore en cours. À la boutique, on nous a expliqué que payer les péages était simple en ligne, et quen cas de problème on pouvait leur poser des questions. Le site internet est uniquement en portugais et ne fonctionne pas. La boutique ma dit de me tourner vers lassistance en ligne, et lassistance en ligne me dit daller sur le site internet du gouvernement. A ce jour, nous navons toujours pas pu payer les péages et risquons une amende à cause du manque daide dindiecamper, qui connaît la difficulté de payer les péages en ligne, mais préfère laisser ses clients se débrouiller seuls, quitte à ce quils paient des amendes. Après vérification sur le site du gouvernement portugais, je me suis rendu compte que les précédents locataires de notre van navaient pas payés leurs péages, ce qui fait que cette somme se rajoute à celle que je dois payer. Et bien sûr impossibilité de payer en ligne, il faut payer dans un point de vente au Portugal. Lassistance whatsapp et téléphone me dit denvoyer une réclamation sur le site, ce que jai déjà fait 3 fois, et ne maide pas du coup. En dehors de ces deux désagréments, le Van qui était une Fiat ducato maxi était un des meilleurs aménagés quon ait loué, nous navons pas eu de soucis avec. Ils comportait quelques éléments cassés (un pied de table, un rideau qui ne se fermait pas...) mais on nous a dit que ce genre de désagrément était réparé en fin de saison (début janvier de chaque année). En bref les véhicules proposés sont bien, le personnel gentil, mais en cas de problème et pour les péages vous êtes laissés à vous même et à une assistance en ligne uniquement

ATTENTION MALHONNÈTE Nous avons réservé sur indiecampers Portugal sans lire les avis, et se fut une grande erreur, Attention se sont des voleurs, nous avons voulue passer qq jours en famille et même si la location était cher nous avons fais un effort pour les fêtes et voir Portugal en van. A notre surprise a notre arrivée, nous fûmes informer que la bouteille de gas nétais pas inclus, 39 euros pour une petite bouteille de gas, nous navons pas fais attention mais la bouteille de gaz était vide et après 2 jours plus de gas, se nest pas un sentiment cool davoir payé pour qq chose et ne pas lavoir reçu, le système du chauffe eau avait un problème avec le senseur, il fallait laissé la fenêtre ouverte pour prendre une douche, adéblue vide aprés 200k. Jai essayé de faire une reclamation a lentreprise, et il me dise que je nai pas pris de bouteille de gas, que dans ma facture lextra que javais payé sétait du linge, je leur explique que non, mais il non rien voulue savoir. bref je trouve leur attitude malhonnête, cest dommage de traiter les clients de la sorte. Au final les moins cher dans la recherche, mais après tous les extras et le sentiment davoir été volé, je vous conseille de rechercher une autre compagnie pour louer votre van,

Man kann diesen Vermieter nur als katastrophal bezeichnen. Bei der Anmietung ist nur ungeschultes Hilfspersonal vor Ort, das den Camper nicht in einen fahrbereiten Zustand versetzen kann. Der Gasanschluss funktionierte nicht (damit waren sowohl Heizung als auch Kocher nicht zu benutzen). Die Gasflasche war entgegen den Vertragsbedingungen und einem lapidaren should be enough bei der Übernahme komplett leer und wir mussten zuerst eine neue kaufen. Danach funktionierte der Gasanschluss immer noch nicht. Also fuhren wir zurück zu Mietstation und man sagte uns, wir möchten morgen wiederkommen, dann könne man das reparieren. Bei 7 Grad Tiefstemperatur keine angenehme Sache ohne Heiung. Am nächsten Tag war anderes Personal anwesend, dass von nichts wusste. Es gab die versproche Notiz im Mietvertrag offenbar nicht. Nach einer Stunde Fehlersuche war klar, dass der Adapter von der Gasflasche zur Leitung defekt war. Dieser wurde ausgetauscht. Zwischenzeitliche endlose Diskussionen auf dem on road im whatsapp Chatbot, mit automatisierten Antworten, eine andere Kontaktmöglichkeit hat man nicht. Floskeln über Floskel und keine Lösung. Eine schriftliche Beschwerde wurde zunächst nicht beantwortet (auch dafür ein Internetformular), auf Nachfrage wurde sich als nicht durchgegangen identifiziert und uns eine Entschädigung von 50 in Aussicht gestellt, für den Ärger, der uns 26 Stunden der Mietzeit gekostet hat. Vor dem extra bezahlten späteren Abgabetermin wurde uns mitgeteilt, man möchte den Schlüssel einfach in den Briefkasten werfen, da kein Personal mehr vor Ort sei. Gesagt getan, vorher alles ordnungsgemäß, sauber gemacht, getankt, alle Behälter geleert und das Fahrzeug auf dem Gelände geparkt. 12 Tage später eine Mail plus Belastung der Kreditkarte mit der Information einer Reinigungsgebühr. Abzuwarten bleibt, ob die Firma nicht gereinigten Zustand des Fahrzeugs beweisen kann. Wir haben inzwischen einen Rechtanwalt eigeschaltet und gegen diese Abzocke vorzugehen. Ich kann nur sagen, dass Indie-Campers die letzte Firma ist, bei der ich je wieder einen Camper mieten werde!

Amazing trip around alqueva

Avoid Indiecampers, prefer rental companies with better processes and good customer care. In my own experience, it was the worst case of handling road tolls ever: it is up to the customer to pay for road tolls through portugese websites. Not only it takes up to two weeks for road tolls to come up in these systems, but if previous renters of your campervan did not pay for their road tolls, you have no choice but to pay for their tolls too. I forgot to deal with this matter when I was back home and Indiecampers charged me 1 year later the road toll fees + penalties + unexplained costs without consent even though I was 100% OK to pay for my road toll fees. Where is gone customer care Fiza? Other rental companies handle road tolls in the rental bill, do avoid the headache and insensitive customer service of Indiecampers. Almost forgot: poor repairs on the gray water disposal system made me come back to base for repairs, losing an afternoon.

If i could it Will BE negative stars ... Horrible ... No oil in the van , all broken , they keep your credit card acess and take the value of the tasks ... Becarefull whit your card acess because their system have been target of a hacker and they stay whit your acess in a data base ! Dont recommend this company to anyone !!!

The one star we have to give is only for the kind staff working in Faro. The organisation Indie Campers itself doesn t deserve any stars at all. We had so many problems with our camper you cannot imagine and their support is only reachable via WhatsApp chat and very unsupportive. There was no compromises from their side at all. We were even supposed to drive a campervan that was - according to a car mechanic - dangerous to drive (no working ABS and ESP) 1 and a half hours back to Faro for an exchange We also had to pay another 2000 deposit for the exchange even though it wasn t our fault. During season they don t really check the vehicles for malfunctions because in the mornings they are returned, then only cleaned and in the afternoon they are rented out again. They told us to drive to a car shop to get the leisure battery exchanged after it didn t work anymore and we had to pay upfront for it. So if you want to save yourself from a lot of stress, pay a few more and have an enjoyable holiday with campers that actually work from a DIFFERENT company!

Literally just horrible experience. We rented the sporty van and got handed a van that smelled just like bleach- was it clean? Well the cuttlery was not. The pots and pans neither. The electronic was just partially working, the usb charging ports were defect. The roof windows were missing handles for opening or closing. Not enough one of the roof windows were open from the beginning so we couldt close it. After this and other problems we tried to contact the pickup center during the opening hours but not even ONCE someone picked up. We contacted the 24 hour service and they lied about the usb ports that this is the way they should work. And they asked us to go to a garage ourself to get the windows fixed. We went personally to the center and demanded a different van after they tried to fix the window but couldnt do it. this van was in better condition but still some things were broken. All those things aside, what makes me angry the most and makes me never, NEVER wanna go to this company again is, It is IMPOSSIBLE to reach a human if you have promblems. Even now, weeks after our vacation, we still have problems with them. We try to pay our tolls from the highway (Which no one told us how to do it since the websites are all on portugese) We try to get help and the bill from IndieCampers to pay it, we literally cant reach someone. They tell us to answer to an service email but we get an automatic email back that tells us to go to the live chat which lets us talk to an AI again- Advice: Dont go to IndieCampers. Cheap quality and much much cheaper quality in customer service. Even though I have to mention the kind woman at the pick up center in Faro who helped us getting a new van!

This was a great van and trip with it. Pick up and drop off were easy. Angela was super cool helping us quickly through all the paper work. Just the usb outlets weren t working except for one, so check that before if it s important to you.

Amazing trip Impeccable check-in and check-out - troto area, good and attentive staff. The travel assistance staff has a lot to be desired, they are not interested in helping with the trip and do not care about what is said on the phone.

Complicada e dispendioso

Unfassbar was hier abläuft, auch wenn ich mir die anderen Rezensionen scheine ich kein Einzelfall gewesen zu sein. Hier werden kaputte Camper vermietet! Bei uns waren die Batterie, der Wassertank und die Rücklicht Sensoren kaputt. Außerdem war das Fahrzeug extrem heruntergekommen (offene Kabel, morsche Schranktür, kaputtes Fahrerdisplay etc ). Der 24/7 Support hat uns erst nach 4 Tagen geantwortet und war sehr schlecht.

Unser Mietwagen-Erlebnis mit Indie Campers war leider enttäuschend. Nach einer dreistündigen Wartezeit bekamen wir einen stark verschmutzten Van, dessen Vorgänger erst eine Stunde zuvor zurückgegeben wurde. Zahlreiche Mängel: fehlende Vorhänge, defekte Kühlbox (bei über 20 Grad ein Problem), stark abgenutzte Pfanne, die schwarze Partikel abgab, und ein Gasbrenner, der nur mit zusätzlicher Flamme funktionierte. Diese schlechten Bedingungen beeinträchtigten unseren Urlaub erheblich. Nachdem wir unsere Meinung geäußert hatten, hat Ana, die Reputation Analyst bei Indie Campers, uns kontaktiert. Sie war sehr bemüht und hat aktiv nach einer Lösung gesucht. Gemeinsam konnten wir eine Einigung finden, die für beide Seiten zufriedenstellend war und alle unsere Anliegen geklärt hat. Vielen Dank für den Einsatz und die Unterstützung!

Great service. Friendly and professional

Null Sterne für Indie Camper. Ich hatte Anfang November einen Camper gemietet. Aber das was auf der Website angeboten wird entsprach nicht dem was ich bekommen habe. Der Camper war veraltet, heruntergekommen, schmutzig und defekt. Ich bin sonst nicht empfindlich und habe keinen Neuwagen erwartet, aber das was ich bezahlt habe hätte ich gerne gehabt. Schmutziges Geschirr und ein versiffter unbrauchbarer Kühlschrank. Stofffetzen mit denen ich die Fenster abhängen musste. Die Außendusche einfach nur ein billigster, ekelhaft abgenutzter Duschkopf. Ich würde mich schämen für so etwas auch noch Geld zu verlangen. Netterweise hat der mit der Mitarbeiter in Faro eine extra Zudecke und Kopfkissen mitgegeben, sonst hätte ich auf einer wirklich sehr harten Pritsche schlafen müssen. Das schlimmste war aber, nach ein paar Tagen zeigte der Camper ein Motororoblem an. Ich war unterwegs und das Auto hatte große Probleme zu fahren. Doch der sehr schlechte Support meinte einfach ich soll damit weiter fahren und mal ordentlich Gas geben. Ich habe nicht locker gelassen und um Hilfe oder Ersatz gebeten, dafür habe ich Tipps bekommen weit entfernt von professioneller Hilfe. Ich könnte noch mehr schreiben, ich bin einfach nur enttäuscht von indie Camper und würde niemanden empfehlen da zu buchen. Schade. Auch nach mehrmaligem nachfragen, die Company äußerte sich bisher nicht dazu. Irgendwelche Chat Mitarbeiter schicken immerzu den selben Link wo man sein Anliegen loswerden kann. Aber auf eine Rückantwort/Entschädigung warte ich bis heute. Super schlechter Service! Keiner weiß von was, niemand fühlt sich verantwortlich. Man darf zahlen und wird im Problemfall alleine gelassen. (Portugal war wunderschön und ich hatte abgesehen von den Problemen mit der Karre eine sehr schöne Zeit)

Perfekte Rundreise in Portugal

Van sale et en mauvais état. Au moment du check-out on nous demande de mettre 5 étoiles. On nous rend le dépôt de garantie et quelques jours après, une fois rentrés, on nous informe dune rayure et on enlève 2.145 de notre compte (voir photo). Le van était déjà rayé au moment où on nous a donné les clefs. On nous a volé cet argent. Nous ne sommes pas les seuls dans cette situation, voir le groupe Indie Campers have ripped us off sur Facebook...

Super buen trato

We did the online check in, they left the keys in a box and we could took the van even when the indie place was closed, eventhough we payed 80 for that, but still worth than waiting for the next day for picking up the van. All the rest nice, as always with indie campers: something broken inside the vans but mostly everything working well enough, the people in indie campers faro were really nice :)

We can highly recommend Indie Cars in Faro Portugal. We rented a Fiat Weinsberg pop up van. It was almost new and ran fine. We received good guidance before we set off and good service from the employees at Indie Campers

If you read the reviews here for the Faro Indie Campers, and think maybe I will have no problems picking up a camper from here think again. Like lot of people write in their reviews, it is horrible. Had to wait for our turn to pick up the van, even when you schedule your pick up. Upon inspection with us, noticed that the water wasnt working, so first they debated if to give us a different van, eventually they decided they will replace the water pump, 40 min later, it was repaired and ask any questions we have. Crazy, but Indie Campers doesnt provide any leveling blocks (and you will need them, as Algarve barely has any flat spots). Havent seen this yet in any other companies. Upon driving 20 min to the nearest Lidl, shopping and driving away, we noticed the A/C didnt work, depot was closed and we were on the highway going away from the depot. Contacted their web support, and was told few options on where to get it repaired. Had to drive 25 min away from where we were, spent 2 hours waiting for the van and then driving back. We pre-paid for propane gas bottle to have full, but were told they dont have any full and gave us almost empty one, that we can buy at any gas stations. Went to 3 different gas stations, none had the same valve, so couldnt buy and exchange the bottles. Found a Repsol propain station, they also didnt have the same valve, but they could exchange the valve connection on the van, so it would fit their gas bottles (and all bottles at gas stations), since they kept the valve from the van, we didnt have to pay for the new valve, just exchange. Also the engine oil was low, so we had to buy oil and fill it up and get reimbursed. The grey water level sensor didnt work. They dont check the vans at all! And have the people that rent the vans have the issues repaired. Luckily from there no more issues with the van. But good luck trying to pay for the CTT tolls on the highway (where you dont take the ticket, but the licence plate is recorded by camera). You cant pay online, only in CTT post office or Paystation. I think you can prepaid the tolls, which would be less hassle. Cleanliness of the van could be better, in the corners there was sand, crumbs etc. The dishes we recieved were dirty. The car was given to us with tank half full. Would be nice to start out with full gas tank, full propane bottle, and fully charged battery. But go with different Van company! Also to consider, everywhere you read how great it is to travel by camper in Algarve, and you can freely camp anywhere it is forbidden, but then you quickly realise how unwelcome the campers are everywhere. I havent seen so many restrictions anywhere else. So many road signs, forbidding entry, parking for the campers. You have very limited options where to camp outside of the campsites.

Reservé el modelo Nomad del 31 de agosto al 7 de septiembre. El camper estaba muy sucio en el interior y el cassette del WC con excrementos dentro. Varias de los oscurecedores/Mosquiteras estaban rotos. La puerta del armario del baño con la bisagra rota se descolgaba. Batería del habitáculo en muy mal estado, que apenas nos permitía utilizar el frigorífico. El proceso del checkin lento, ya que tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo pese a haber reservado un franja de tiempo concreta. En el check Out, no les funcionaba el sistema y no pudimos formalizarlo correctamente de tal manera que no teníamos garantía de que nos devolviesen el depósito de seguridad. Una vez desbloqueada la fianza de la tarjeta de crédito, inexplicablemente, nos lo volvieron a cargar y solo se liberó pasada otra semana. Todas estas incidencias fueron comunicadas a su equipo de atención al cliente, sin que ofreciesen ninguna solución práctica. En definitiva, la experiencia no se ha correspondido con un nivel mínimo de servicio aceptable, ya que la vida en la caravana se ha visto muy condicionada por la falta de frigorífico, por despertarnos muy temprano por la entrada de luz y por la limpieza inicial que tuvimos que hacer en la caravana con lo desagradable que esto puede llegar a ser.

RESERVEN EN OTRA COMPAÑIA. Pesimo, desastroso.. desde el primer momento en el depot sabíamos que nos habiamos equivocadi. 4 horas esperando a que se nos entregase, y por qué? Pues porque seguia volviendo gente a la que no le funcionaba la caravana que recién se habia llevado; otros clientes como nosotros comprobando la camper o caravana asignada y viendo que era una chapuza. La nuestra en concreto no tenía agua! Pero igualmente te decían que no podían hacer nada y prácticamente que era lo que había y tenias que llevartela. 2 horad después de decirnos esto y negarnos a llevarnosla asi nos la arreglaron, pero te la ebtregan prácticamente sin agua, batería, gasolina... por los inconveniented nos devolvieron el kit esencial, y dos dias mas tardd nos lo volvieron a cargar (estafa absoluta). A nsvera no funcionaba, asi que tuvimos que gastar mas comiendo fuera (no se responsabilizan de nada de esto). No los recomiendo para nada. El personal miente, pero porque ya sabe lo que hay y que no puede hacer nada. Hemos rellenado hoja de reclamaciones y también la hemos presentado online. Espero que con todo lo negativo que he visto y leído no puedan ofrecer este pésimo servicio más.

Had a great trip with an Atlas 5, We picked the van up a day late due to delays and the staff were understanding. At the end of the trip Angela checked us back in as soon we arrived. The van was a bit big for towns with narrow streets but the park4night app helped with parking & where to stay. Thank you Indy Campers

Bellissima esperienza. Abbiamo viaggiato da lisbona fino a Faro in 6 giorni percorrendo le numerose spiagge. Gli impiegati sono stati molto disponibili. Cè un servizio di assistenza, ma non abbiamo avuto bisogno di usarlo. Abbiamo preso Atlas 5 il più grande (forse troppo grande ) consiglierei un furgone che ti permette di parcheggiare ovunque.

*JUNGFAHRER AUFGEPASST!* An und für sich ist Indie Campers ein solides Unternehmen, freundliche Mitarbeiter und vor der Tür stehen auch viele gutaussehende und relativ neu wirkende Camper. Leider ist es aber so, dass man als Jungfahrer die schlechtesten und ältesten Camper bekommt, welche sehr runtergefahren sind und vielen Stellen nicht mehr in Ordnung sind. Wir konnten dabei über vieles hinwegsehen, auch wenn uns einige Punkte schon sehr eingeschränkt haben: keine Klimaanlage, kaputte Wasserpumpe, Vorhänge halten nicht, Kühlschrank funktioniert nur halb. Allerdings hätte auch das Auto selber dringend eine Wartung gebraucht, eines unserer Abblendlichter war kaputt und die Bremsbeläge waren extrem abgefahren! Das hat dazu geführt, dass wir bei längeren Bergabfahrten mit sehr heißen und stinkenden Bremsen anhalten mussten, da wir extrem an Bremskraft verloren haben. Das war definitiv ein Sicherheitsrisiko und darf so nicht vorkommen! Der Support-Service war leider keine große Hilfe und Rückerstattungen sind bei Indie Campers wohl sowieso ausgeschlossen. Unser Fazit: die etwas teureren Camper mit dem Premium-Schutzpaket wirken sehr solide und wir haben viel Gutes von ihnen gehört. Besonders aber die billigen Camper mit Basis-Schutz und für Jungfahrer sollten so nicht mehr vermietet werden dürfen. Da lieber ein bisschen mehr Geld investieren sonst zahlt man für Leistungen, die man nicht bekommt und muss zwischendrin noch schauen, dass das Auto nicht zusammenkracht. Passt auf euch auf!

We had a mixed experience. While the service/customer support by the company was good and all the staff at checkin/checkout were very friendly, the van we took over was supposingly one of their older models with some issues, such as a stark stench from the wet cabin, broken front lights, or that we couldn t turn the codrivers seat to have more space inside the van while camping. Despite, the van was easy to drive and we had plenty of fun on our adventure. Shoutouts to the extra large blanket that made every night super comfy!

With one word: a NIGHTMARE. A total disaster: the van broke due to lack of ordinary maintenance and after that moment nobody was able to support us in any way, nobody was willing to take accountability. We were completely left alone with a broken vehicle (not because of us, but even in that case it would be wrong, especially because we paid for the extra insurance). The negative online reviews are true: as soon as you have any kind of little issue, your are left alone and you lose holiday time. A tip: be sure to travel with good and positive friends, who are able to cheer up the mood. Check-in: This is not a check-in service. People who work in the pick-up centre should be able to give the right informations, help you in any possible way and they should care about the customer. Nicer people would be great. (PS: we had to change the first van with another one, and they asked for another 500 deposit.........)

Nie wieder Indie Camper. Hier eine Auflistung der Mängel: - Abholzeit um 3std überschritten Allgemeine massive Abnutzung des Vans/ Gegenstände im Van -Van völlig verschmutzt -Unterboden Van völlig lose und wurde so übergeben(hing bis kurz vor dem Boden) Zigarettenanzünder Stecker am Kühlschrank im Heckbereich funktioniert nicht -> somit kann die Kühlbox nicht an der Aussparung der Küchenzeile stehen und muss während der Fahrt hinter den Fahrersitz platziert um sie über den Zigarettenanzünderstecker im Cockpit geladen werden und im Strombetrieb durch externe Stromquelle umplaziert werden. Defekte Leuchte im Innenraum flackert nur leicht Fehlende Befestigung des Schanieres an der Tür unter dem Waschbecken. Die Tür ist komplett lose Defekte Reißverschlüsse an den Polstern/ Einrisse im Überzug Keine Passenden Abdeckungen für die Fenster es sind teilweise nur Stücke an Stoff mit eingerissenen Löchern, welche auch nicht passen -in die hecktür passen bei geschlossenen Türen 2 Finger Teils keine Befestigungsmöglichkeiten für die Vorhänge Der Van wurde schmutzig übergeben wir haben zu zweit 40min geputzt um ihn hygienisch auf ein akzeptables Level zu bekommen. Von allen Flächen ist tief dunkelbrauner Schmutz gekommen. Zudem war das Geschirrset sehr übelriechend (altes Fett) und schmutzig. Der erhaltene Van hat nur wenig mit den Bildern auf der Homepage zu tun . Der Van wirkt sehr alt und runtergekommen und ungepflegt. Uns ist bewusst, dass es nicht der exakt gleiche Van von den Bildern sein muss ,aber ähnlich vom Zustand erwarten wir auf alle Fälle. Rostige Metallteile in gesamten Auto Schmutzige Übergabe des Autos bei gleichzeitiger Erwartung einer sauberer Rückübergabe/+ mögliche Buchungsoption einer Endreinigung -Mitarbeiter durchwachsen, teils absolut nicht hilfsbereit/ nett Waren 1 Nacht im Hotel nach std. Langem Kontakt mit dem Support, da uns die Mitarbeiter vor Ort uns mit dem kaputten Van hätten fahren lassen. Nach über 24 Std gleichen Van erhalten. Knapp 100 Erstattung durch indie camper, für uns nicht im Verhältnis zum Mietpreis der 21 Tage die wir gebucht haben.

We were in Faro. the people were nice, they explained everything to us. No problem when taking over or when returning.

Great service from the employees. They really work hard to make your vacation a great experience. They are very friendly. Very helpful, very good ambassadors for the company. Only thing that wasnt that great was the van itself, the interior of the van and accessoires we were provided with. Lots of things loose/damaged/missing. Both inside and out. As a whole the van was still sufficiently functional but definitely not as advertised. You would expect more for what you pay. I can imagine other people being extremely dissatisfied when confronted with this. And they would totally be in the right! But the local staff went above and beyond to make our holiday a succes. And that goes a long way with us. In the end we still enjoyed our vacation.

Good experience with indie campers

Van was ready 2 hours later than selected pick up time. Not clean enough and was in poor condition. Towels were not included, bedding was grimy and tatty. No chemical toilet tab available. Would not recommend.

Nie wieder Indie Camper! Wir hatten 2017 sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Indie Camper gemacht und daraufhin im Oktober 2024 wieder gebucht. Dabei bekamen wir einen schrottreifen zerbeulten Van übergeben, der bei der Übergabe auch nicht fertig war. Der Mitarbeiter von Indie Camper versuchte noch notdürftig das eine oder andere zu reparieren. Fazit: Der Tisch im Camper lies sich nicht benutzen, wurde dann von dem Mitarbeiter getapt, war dann aber auch nicht als Bett nutzbar, weil kippelig, die Dusche funktionierte nicht. Die bestellten Fahrräder waren kaputt. Die Vorhänge passten nicht. Es regnete in den Van hinein, da die Dichtungen an der hinteren Tür kaputt waren. Der Van und das Geschirr waren dreckig, der Tank war bei der Übergabe leer. Die Sitze kaputt und aufgerissen. Es leuchtete im Cockpit auf, dass der Van dringend in die Reparatur muss und so weiter.

Kann man 0 Sterne geben? Katastrophale Erfahrung. Hatten ein Wohnmobil für 4 Wochen gemietet, um den Süden von Portugal zu erkunden. Das Fahrzeug war nicht ordentlich gereinigt, alles hat gewackelt und geächzt. Verdunkelungsrollos waren überwiegend kaputt, Wasserpumpe hat nicht funktioniert, grauwasser konnte nicht abgelassen werden, Geruch aus dem Abfluss, bestelltes Gas war nicht dabei - mussten wir selbst besorgen, Batterie hat nicht funktioniert (wir waren insgesamt bei 3 Werkstätten (WhatsApp Support katastrophal, man schreibt vermutlich mit einem indischen callcenter). Bei der ersten Werkstätte, die uns vom Support als Partner empfohlen wurde, wurden wir mir den Worten OH NO - Indie Campers - they should stop sending people here! empfangen. Rechnungen mussten selbst bezahlt werden (für eine Batterie, die falsch angeschlossen war!!! - der Mechaniker hat gesagt so etwas habe er in 20 Jahren noch nie gesehen). Unterwegs haben wir noch einige Leidensgenossen getroffen - ebenfalls Indie Camper Kunden. Kann mir die guten Bewertungen nicht erklären. Meine Schwester hatte zur gleichen Zeit einen Van gemietet, da wuchsen Pilze drin (Siebe Fotos) also es geht immer schlimmer.

Our experience with indie campers was the worst thing that ever happend to us while travelling. We rented the model sporty with the intention to have a nice bus with all supplies so that we can comfortably spend our days at the beach and go surfing. As we picked it up it was still not cleaned and all of our beforehand booked devices were not ready. Half of the stuff was dirty and the surfboards were broken and barely fixed with tape. As the employees get minimum wage and cant do anything without the complaints department (that ypu can only chat with!! No possibility to call!!) we took the bus. Electricity and water were empty immediately and as we wanted to fill up the wanter tank, the water ran out of the floor of the campervan!! As we wanted to return the van directly after this happend the employee garantied us that we get 50% off and should take the van! After a long discussion we took the van and 2 days later our tire broke! Indie campers did not help us at all we needed to repair it and call a mechanic by our own. Even 2 mechanics did not get the second tire off the car as it was very rusty. Because of that our car needed to be towed to the next car repair shop! The mechanic told us that the tire was too old to even drive with it anymore and we had a lot of luck it didnt explode at the highway! At this point we returned the van immediately! We didnt get the repair costs back and we didnt even get a discount on the camper!!!! So the promised 50 % were just a method to convince us to take the van back! I think we had bad luck with the van and I am sure they have better ones that work perfectly but if you need any help or anything you are lost for sure because they are not going to help you at all! We called about a 100 times and wrote 5000 messages!! The customer service is horrible and i can not recommend indie campers to anyone who wants to have a nice holiday.

Ich nutzte kürzlich einen Mietwagen von Indie Camper. Obwohl das Fahrgefühl in Ordnung war, beeinträchtigten mehrere Probleme meine Erfahrung: Das Fahrzeug war innen stark abgenutzt, mit defekten Fenstern und Jalousien sowie schwerfälliger Bedienung. Trotz Meldung der Mängel erhielt ich nur den Hinweis auf ein Erklärungsvideo, was nichts änderte. Zudem war die Gebühr von über 100 für Bettwäsche überteuert und schlecht kommuniziert. Bei der Rückgabe wurde mir nahegelegt, eine Bewertung abzugeben, um die Kaution schneller zu erhalten, was die Glaubwürdigkeit der Bewertungen infrage stellt. Insgesamt war meine Erfahrung enttäuschend und nicht empfehlenswert.

Eles tomam a prioridade e quase jogam você para fora da estrada e depois o ameaçam enquanto eles mesmos causam o problema. Como se fossem os únicos na estrada. Saiu de Alvor N125 com destino a Lagos entre as 10h00 e as 11h00 do dia 3 de setembro.

Leider bekamen wir eine leere Gasflasche bei der Abholung in Porto, obwohl wir für eine volle im Voraus gezahlt hatten. Wir mussten eine neue kaufen. Leider passte diese nicht an den Anschluss des Campers. Wir sind daraufhin extra zu einem Pick up Store gefahren. Haben dort erneut die Gasflaschen getauscht. Leider erhielten wir erneut eine leere Flasche. Wir kauften zum zweiten Mal eine neue. Anschließend war alles in Ordnung. Achtet auf die Ausstattung des Campers. Es wird Internet beschrieben wie viel von Indie Campers an Küchenutensilien bereitgestellt wird. Wir haben dies nicht gelesen und waren überrascht wie wenig es war - z.B. kein scharfes Messer. Der Rest wie der Motor war gut.

Exactly what we expected. Pick up and drop off efficient and they explained everything before we left.

When we wanted to check in our creditcard for the deposit got declined. The staff in Porto was not very helpfull and closed the store before we could get the van. We had to sleep in a hotel for the night. When we got the van on the next day the staff forgot our bed sheets and the gascooker did not work. The camper was in worse condition than advertised. Some things in the interior were damaged. When checking out they tried to charge us for the kilometers of the night we lost. But camping was a nice experience. But maybe not with Indie campers.

We were unlucky and got an old camper with over-used interiors. Thus not as comfortable as it should be nowadays and for the price.

Una pessima esperienza con Indie Campers. La nostra esperienza con Indie Campers è stata disastrosa dallinizio alla fine. Dopo il noleggio di un camper a Porto, il 3 settembre alle 10:30 abbiamo effettuato il check out a Faro con laddetto al controllo che ci ha confermato non ci fosse alcun danno visibile al veicolo. Sei giorni dopo, per email, ci viene comunicato che è stato rilevato un danno! Come possiamo essere certe che il camper non sia stato affittato ad altre persone dopo il nostro check out? È assurdo! La risposta al nostro reclamo è stata che si avvalgono di 30 giorni per effettuare ulteriori verifiche, che non avrebbero preso in considerazione altre foto prova e, nel caso, addebitare il costo dei danni DIRETTAMENTE sulla carta di credito fornita in fase di noleggio. Cosa che ovviamente hanno fatto senza alcuna possibilità di replica. Quindi nonostante avessimo scelto la copertura assicurativa più completa e cara(per stare tranquille), hanno deciso di detrarre 200 euro per un graffio di 4cm quale durante il check out era inesistente Non solo ci troviamo accusate ingiustamente di danni (ci hanno inviato una foto che poteva raffigurare un camper qualunque, senza la specifica della targa), ma anche il servizio durante il noleggio è stato pessimo. Abbiamo prenotato per 5 persone e ci è stato fornito UN SOLO kit di lenzuola (la ragazza si è anche scusata perché questo obiettivamente risultava poco chiaro dal sito online). Di conseguenza, abbiamo dovuto comprare lenzuola, cuscini, federe e coperte di tasca nostra in un altro punto vendita (il tutto dopo aver specificato al momento del pagamento che saremmo state 5 passeggere), altrimenti sarebbero stati soldi in più da dare a loro. E non finisce qui: la bombola del gas che ci è stata fornita era senza sigillo e parzialmente vuota. Al terzo giorno di 9 sullo schermo interno è partito lavviso automatico che questa era quasi esaurita, e non è stato nemmeno possibile ricaricarla in Portogallo perché il tipo di bombola non era compatibile. Abbiamo passato giorni con langoscia che terminasse del tutto il gas, un grande disagio che ha ridotto notevolmente il comfort del camper che avevamo appositamente noleggiato. In sintesi, Indie Campers ha offerto un servizio scadente fin dallinizio (se non lo avessimo esplicitamente chiesto al momento del check-in ci avrebbero fornito soltanto 3 sedie da campeggio su 5 e un solo set di posate e piatti), e ora ci accusa anche di danni che non erano stati rilevati al check-out. Saremmo state le prime a segnalare qualunque problema se fosse dipeso da noi, ma questo non è il caso. Considerate seriamente altre opzioni se volete evitare unesperienza frustrante e costosa come la nostra. Mettiamo una stella perché il camper in se era funzionale e spazioso, ma questo lo dobbiamo alla azienda automobilistica tedesca e non ad indie camper.

Be careful the vans are old!!! Not much works! Lots of problems and not just ours . I advise you to go to another rental agency.

verschrikkelijke ervaring In de eerste 15 minuten dat we wegreden, stopte de auto met werken, niet goed kunnen remmen en geen gas kunnen geven. Op de snel weg geen controle over je auto hebben wegens slecht onderhoud is onacceptabel om mee te beginnen. 2 dagen lang contact proberen te maken ( terwijl de camper dus ook niet kon starten en we op een parkeerplaats naast de snelweg zaten voor die dagen) met indie campers, via de telefoon ( 6 verschillende nummers), via mail, via whatsapp, nergens werden we geholpen waardoor we in een hotel moesten slapen waarvan niet eens alles vergoed werd. Uiteindelijk zelf 800 moeten betalen om de camper terug te laten slepen naar depot. Eenmaal op het depot beweerde ze dat ze ons geen nieuwe camper konden geven en dat we gewoon moesten wachten . Na uren wachten een vieze camper gekregen. De na sleep er van is dat we onze 2000 borg nog niet terug hebben na 1 maand, waarvan afgesproken en beloofd is dat je het binnen 10-15 dagen terug zou moeten hebben. Ook hebben we ons geld van het slepen en de extra kosten van de mislukte reis vanwege hun gebrekken, niet terug. Ontzettend nare ervaring en onacceptabel dat dit kan gebeuren. We hebben ook een klacht in het klachten boek van Portugal gezet hierover. Je zou denken met zo een groot bedrijf dat dit wel soepeler was verlopen, maar helaas. Nu meer dan een maand later: Ik heb de 2000 borg nog steeds niet volledig terug na meerdere mailtjes dat het wel zo zou zijn.

Hatten für 12 Tage den Camper Nomad geliehen. Trotz Termin, hat man uns bei der Abholung in Faro ewig warten lassen. Auch so schien alles sehr chaotisch und unprofessionell abzulaufen, wärend wir verschiedene Abholungen und Rückgaben beobachteten. Der allgemeine Zustand des Campers war sehr schlecht. Camper völlig verdreckt und ohne Reinigung bekommen, Kühlschrank verschimmelt, Rollos defekt, Bad undicht, Sitze aufgerissen, extrem hartes Bett und deutliche Abnutzungserscheinungen an allen Ecken und Enden. Man hatte das Gefühl, dass die Kautionen von Vormietern zwar einkassiert werden, aber nicht für die nötigen Reparaturen an den Vans investiert werden. Wenigstens lief der Motor einwandfrei und die Klimaanlage erbrachte ihren Dienst! Wir würden Indie Campers auf keinen Fall weiterempfehlen, da wir von anderen Mietern vor Ort ähnliche Erfahrungen mitbekommen haben. Scheint wohl kein Einzelfall zu sein. Trotzdem war es ein schöner Urlaub in Portugal und wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht.

Overall the van drove fine and we could have a lovely holiday. I read now that we are lucky the car didnt have any problems with starting. BUT there are many issues to be addressed: Visible surfaces were all clean, but many corner had still crumbs and dust from previous users, dishes were dirty. There was poop in the portable WC. If we didnt check that before we left it would have been a disgusting surprise. First, the car interior didnt match the pictures. Additionally we lacked a lot of explanation. How the camper works, who to empty tank, how to add water, when to know that tank is full. Apparently it starts to overflow to the pavement when it is full and that was a scary surprise. Some sockets didnt work, would have liked to know that because we tried very long to fix the cool box the correct drawer, thought the wire is broken, drove back to indie camper to have another fridge, figured out it was the sockets instead. This resulted in us keeping the fridge in the toilet and taping the wire of the fridge on the ground so that we would not trip on it every time. The introduction was too short and being first time in a van it is also complicated to ask everything. For example, half of out trip we didnt have a phone holder. But then we realized it pops out when you pull quite hard on some plastic part in the armature. I massive improvement for navigating around. Its a pity that we suffered so long.. Also, a closet door was broken. That was fixed by tape when we returned couple days later for extra information. The guy who helped then was very nice. Extra remarks: Would be nice if the car is fully packed when receiving it: full tank, full water tank, charged interior battery. Your colleague didnt even know the status of them.

Our motorhome in OLHAO is broken down and we have no way to get it back. There is no service. Help, please help HELP

Perfect service. Camper was brand new and drove perfectly. Staff during both check-in and check-out was very kind. I was surprised by the mileage - it hardly used any fuel. We had the pop top model which was especially night on clear mornings when the sun rose. 10/10 recommend!

Wir haben den Campervan in Lissabon abgeholt und 12 Nächte später in Faro wieder abgegeben. Wir waren etwa 30 Minuten vor unserem Termin vor Ort, was kein großes Problem darstellte. Anfangs schienen die Mitarbeiter freundlich, doch als nach etwa 20 Minuten eine Mitarbeiterin frei wurde, nahm sie unseren Schlüssel, verschwand für 10 Minuten, um den Wagen zu kontrollieren, und rief uns dann zu ihrem Tisch. Sie informierte uns kurz, dass wir für die 500 Kilometer, die wir zu viel gefahren sind, 200 zahlen müssten. Das war uns bewusst und stellte kein Problem dar. Anschließend teilte sie uns mit, dass dies alles sei. Wir hatten jedoch noch ein Anliegen bezüglich eines Services, den wir bezahlt, aber nicht erhalten hatten. Die Mitarbeiterin ließ uns kaum ausreden und hörte uns nicht zu. Sie sagte, wir müssten gehen, da viele Leute da seien und sie im Stress wären. Wir wurden also nicht richtig ernst genommen und weggeschickt. Bis jetzt sind wir beim Kundenservice auch nicht weitergekommen, was wir sehr bedauern. Der Camper selbst war gut, aber aufgrund dieser schlechten Erfahrung mit dem Personal und Indiecampers als Anlaufstelle würden wir beim nächsten Mal nicht mehr bei Indiecampers buchen.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Overall terrible experience. Van was extremely run down and very expensive (yes, it s high season but still) Extremely thin mattress, super uncomfortable, terrible pillows. Just not worth the money at all! Service was ok, not more. Now to the WORST PART: After returning the van, they told us multiple times that everything was fine and we even got our deposit money back in full. However, just a few days later we got an email saying they found damage and charged us 950 WITHOUT our consent. Bear in mind we did not cause the damage and have proof. They are refusing to cooperate which is why we will now take legal action, a real pain - just like this company. Stay away if you want peace, rent if you want problems.

Do not be fooled by the reviews on their website because they only finish your checkout process once you write a review, basically pressuring you into it. They reported an occurrence on my trip and have had my money locked for close to 2 months... Really think about whether you are OK with this

We had a very good Trip with the vehicle we Rented in Faro. Service at the pick up Station was more then nice Angela even waited 1.5h for us cause the flight was delayed on friday night. To get us the vehicle. On return sharif was even more nice to us with all the checkout Procedure. I can recommend and we will come back.

Angela and Sharif have been soo friendly and professional, this really seperates the Rental Firm from other ones. They took extra time and tried to helped us with our needs. I would be ready to choose the company again, even if it would not be the cheapest offer, just because of that service. Thanks, definetly see you agian!

Horrible company! Charged me $4,000 for a repair that only was worth $400. Avoid this business at all costs. The extra insurance is worthless. Only covers middle third of the vehicle.

Great and smooth experience to pick up the van at the Faro depot. Friendly staff (especially Sherif) who answered all our questions. We had to wait 45 min until van was clean and ready for us. You re able to pick up a few useful items for your trip left behind by other travelers.

Muy mala experiencia, no se lo recomiendo a nadie. Fuimos de vacaciones tres amigos a intentar disfrutar con una furgoneta Camper de toda la costa del Algarve. Desde que llegamos, malos tratos por parte de una de sus trabajadoras, borde, irritada... La furgoneta en mal estado, sucia en algunas zonas, con desperfectos, las camas parecían de calabozo... Otro tema que no no gustó fue el de la fianza. No sabíamos que había que dejar tal cantidad (2000 ), lo cual tu tienes que abonárselos al momento . Cuando acabamos las vacaciones el trato de la trabajadora (la misma que nos atendió el primer día) seguía igual. Pensábamos que nos devolverían el dinero al instante, igual que nosotros se lo abonamos al instante, pero no. Dejamos la furgoneta en sus almacenes, y nos comenta que nuestro dinero lo recibiremos de 4 a 7 desde dicho momento, por lo cual regresamos a nuestras casas con la intranquilidad de no saber cuando iba a llegar ese dinero. Al final a las 5 días nos llegó el total del importe sin problema, pero es un tema que tienen que comentártelo con antelación, ya que no cualquier puede dejar una fianza de tal valor. Con todo esto, bajo nuestro punto de vista nos han estafado.

La camper estaba sucia por fuera y por dentro y olía mal al entrar. Pero lo más grave, fueron los desperfectos que observamos una vez que comenzamos el viaje: la claraboya estaba rota (algo imprescindible), la persiana del copiloto y de la cocina estaban rotas también, el perfil de la radio también roto, el congelador no funcionaba, el mango de la puerta del baño también roto, el motor hacia un sonido agudo cuando poníamos el aire acondicionado, el agua de la ducha se salía aún cerrando la puerta e inundaba todo el suelo Y, al llegar allí y comentar todo esto (que por cierto, la atención del check-in y del check-out fue bastante lento y ninguno hablaba español) lo único que nos dijeron fue un lo siento, y que se trataba de algo normal. Además, nos la entregaron con un cuarto de gasolina (cosa que luego es difícil de devolver así por lo que salen ganando ellos) y con la batería y el agua a medias. En resumen: un auténtico desastre, no volveremos a repetir en este sitio ni a recomendar.

Fue el peor servicio en estos dos años de viaje. Nunca me han atendido tan mal, las 4 personas que hemos visto trabajando ahi, dos mujeres y dos hombres, tienen el peor humor del mundo y tratan a sus clientes de mala forma. No tienen ganas de explicarte absolutamente nada, no buscan ayudarte. El primer dia que sacamos la van nos robaron en Olhao y cuando vamos a buscar una solucion con ellos, solo nos dicen que tenemos que pagar y nada mas. Nunca preguntar si estamos bien o si nos pasó algo. No les importo que hayamos tenido un mal rato y perdido muchas cosas de valor. Cero empatia, peor servicio y personas. Como la reserva estaba a mi nombre y tengo 24 años no me dejaban pagar el seguro completo (vaiajaba con dos adultos mayores que podian dar su nombre) y por supuesto .. el seguro basico no cubria ventanas porque SABEN que es normal que roben. Pero nisiquiera fueron capaces de advertirnos y decirnos que por precaucion siempre es mejor campings o lugares seguros. Un desastre 100%

Experiencia bastante desagradable. La caravana tenía multitud de desperfectos de todo tipo. Nos destrozó las vacaciones. No los recomiendo para nada. El personal miente, es maleducado y la caravana es una estafa, tiene multitud de desperfectos. Por supuesto hemos denunciado a la empresa por daños y perjuicios porque además se niegan a devolver el alquiler y eso se llama estafa. Si queréis que os amarguen las vacaciones hacerlo con ellos, si.quereis disfrutad de vuestras vacaciones no coger sus servicios. Absolutamente lamentable

sehr schlechtes preis-leistungs-verhältnis. wir sind nicht kleinlich und haben schon viele van/camping-touren hinter uns, aber die aktuelle erfahrung mit indie camper ist wirklich schlecht. 5cm dicke matratze , das bett quietscht schon nur beim fahren, die window blinds sind nahezu alle kaputt, die schranktüren schließen nicht, die dichtungen an den autotüren sind locker, nur 6h nach dem mieten ist der strom leer und die kühlbox (die super winzig ist) funktioniert nicht mehr. und das alles sollte ein upgrade sein von dem auto, das wir eigentlich gebucht haben. ziemliche enttäuschung. immerhin antwortet der kundenservice zeitnah, aber bisher ohne entgegenkommen. haben das active plus modell, alles sehr sehr runtergerockt und für den preis inakzeptabel.

Expérience plus que moyenne. Au déla du fait que le local se trouve un peu au milieu de nul part (peu de bus mais taxi pas cher depuis Faro) et de laccueil froid , on a fait face à plusieurs soucis: - climatisation non fonctionnelle (à plus de 30 degrés à cette période). Le service client nous a répondu daller dans un garage proposé et de remplir la climatisation; proposition déclinée car on a autre chose à faire pendant nos vacances... - Frigo dorigine remplacé par une glacière qui ne rentrait plus dans lespace adéquat donc elle prenait place à larrière mais empechait dutiliser une partie de lespace - absence de robinet pour les eaux grises, tout partait directement sous le van, ce nest pas écologique et passible damende - pare soleil ancien qui ne tenait pas aux vitres Et impossibilité de les joindre directement (chat bot puis service client par message)

Zuerst einmal das positive, wir hatten für 14 Tage einen Van gemietet. Die Abholung konnte pünktlich erfolgen. Der Van war Fahrbereit und wir konnten, mit einem auf den ersten Blick guten Van direkt starten. Auch die Einführung in den Van erfolgte problemlos. Nach den ersten Metern jedoch leuchtete im Van die Motor Kontrolllampe auf und eine der Schubladen knallte Lautstart während der Fahrt auf ( diese wurde bereits vor dem ersten Start durchs Personal repariert) wir mussten also umkehren und erneut zum Pick Up Center fahren. Dort verbrachten wir dann leider eine weitere halbe Stunde, während die Schublade wieder repariert wurde - damit wir starten konnten wurde uns dann noch Panzertape mitgegeben falls eine der Schubladen wieder aufgehen sollte .. Das die Motorkontrollleuchte an war, wurde damit abgetan das wir uns darüber keine Gedanken machen sollen. Wir hätten es gerne vor Ort schriftlich bekommen, dass wir nicht schuldig sind an dem kaputten Schubladen und dem Aufleuchten der Lampe. Leider sagt man uns vor Ort und es werde ins Booking geschrieben und wir gingen dahingehend leer aus weil wohl niemand befugt gewesen war uns dies schriftlich mitzugeben, was das Vertrauen ins Unternehmen nicht stärkte. Uns fiel dann auf, der Van war in wirklich keine guten Zustand, Dinge die man bei der Abholung auf den ersten Blick nicht sieht: Löcher in den Wänden Schubladen gingen eigentlich alle nicht vernünftig zu, die Öllampe leuchtet auch ab und an Mal auf. Der Van war einfach etwas runter gerockt. Was bei den Preis wirklich schade ist. Auch hatten wir das große Glück dass wir nach wenigen Kilometern Fahrt bereits das Ad blue nachfüllen müssten. Hier wäre es einfach schön, wenn das durch das Unternehmen bereits durchgeführt werden kann, bzw. vorab wenigstens nacjgefüllt wird. Bereits bei der Einweisung wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass es sein kann, dass wir das ad blue nachfüllen müssen. Auch hier für den gesamten Preis einfach keine tolle Service Leistung. Wir hatten die Serviceleistung mit Bettwäsche und Besteck etc gewählt. Es wirkte alles irgendwie sehr kopflos zusammengestellt, super viele große Teller dafür nur zwei tiefe. Nur zwei kablen aber fünf löffel. Nur ein scharfes Messer, wo wir dann noch zulaufen müssten da dieses zu stumpf war. Die Teller hatten bereits Risse und waren teilweise nicht wirklich sauber zu bekommen. Hier wäre es einfach schön wenn auf eine einheitliche Packung der essentials Pakte geachtet wird. Rundum hatten wir dennoch eine schöne Reise und der Van hielt die gesamte Strecke gut durch. Wir konnten alle wichtigen Dinge nutzen. Es ist lediglich schade für den Preis einen so abgerockent Camper zu erhalten. Wir würden daher Indie Campers nicht erneut wählen. Buchungsreferenz 4kLXdKn3wpx3

Atenção, fraude com custos não justificados. No meu caso, depois da carrinha entregue fui cobrado de 1812 por supostos danos. A carrinha foi inspecionada e não tinha qq dano, verificação feita pela funcionária. Estou ainda a aguardar a resolução da queixa crime apresentada, mas já se passaram 6 meses. Nem fatura dos custos apresentaram. Péssima experiência. Muito cuidado com a gestão da caução. Não recomendo

Keine Servicenummer. Furchtbare WhatsApp Kommunikation mit irgendeinem Call Center. Konnten bei unserem Defekt mit Frischwassertank nicht helfen. Nach einer Woche hat der ganze Wagen bei der Fahrt nach Kloake gestunken. Trotz stolzen 2300 Euro für 3 Wochen ist keine echte Person selbst in dringlichen Fällen erreichbar. Man ist mit jedem noch so großen Problem auf sich allein gestellt. Never again!

Terrible service. Would not recommend this company! It was extremely difficult getting in touch with anyone on the phone. When I made the booking, we had the option to choose a later drop off time. I choose 5pm, but we could not get back to faro at this time. After many attempts at calling, I finally spoke to someone on the phone who told me it wasn t possible to drop off later than 6:30pm, according to Google the office closes at 7pm and we would have arrived before then. But we were told it wasnt possible and we would be charged a late drop off fee - even though he could not confirm what time we could return the campervan. He promised to call back but didn t and after repeated phone calls we had no choice but to bring the campervan back to Lagos and keep for another night, incurring unnecessary charges (which they charged my card 110 euros the very next day) The pre drive checks are terrible and unsafe. On pickup, the top hatch (sunroof) was not secured down properly, so as we approached the A22 at high speeds the hatch came open - My husband had to hold it in place whilst standing for 15 minutes with me driving until the A2 toll booths where we could pull over safely. The tracking (on steering) is out around 10 degrees to the left, making it very unsafe to drive, and very dangerous under braking. Other things (not so important). No screen wash. Ad blue levels low. Water stopped working on day 3. Front right brake pads were binding. Door hinges on both bathroom and cupboard are loose, so doors are ajar. Both hatches to water and sewage were broken and don t close properly (one of which we were told about). Overall, a very disappointing experience. We have known about Indie Campers for years, so we were excited to try them out. This trip cost us over 1000 euros for a 5 day trip, and unfortunately the service provided by this company is shoddy to say the least. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Nie wieder indie camper. Der Camper den wir bekommen haben war alt und dreckig. Es waren einige stellen kaputt.Die Kühltruhe hat nur funktioniert, wenn Strom angeschlossen war. Die Duschkabine hat geklemmt sodass wir die Tür komplett ausbauen mussten um unterwegs duschen und das Klo nutzen konnten. Daraufhin ließ sich die Tür aber auch nicht mehr schließen. Die Kabine vorne war sehr schimmelig. Überall waren Stockflecken zu finden. Das Auto ging teilweise nicht an. Es war kein Besen im Auto und auch so fehlte es an Utensilien. Wir sind wirklich sehr enttäuscht über die Qualität und vor allem den Kundenservice wenn man nachfragen hat. Wir mussten 40 km extra Strecke machen, da niemand am Telefon sich bereit fühlte uns zu helfen. Zumindest haben sie uns die km später nicht mit berechnet. Sorry, aber das war echt schlecht für den Preis der hier verlangt wird.

Nel complesso è un ottima compagnia e offre un ottimo servizio. Uniche note negative è per prima cosa la posizione accessibile quasi esclusivamente in taxi a circa 20 minuti da faro e per seconda abbiamo rotto un pezzo del fanale posteriore e chiedono 500 per il danno.

Wir waren mit dem Jeep und Dachzelt sehr zufrieden. Allerdings war die Beschreibung im Vorfeld nicht genau. So war eine komplette Campingküchenausstattung im Auto obwohl nur Gaskartuschen im der Beschreibung standen. An sich erfreulich, allerdings hätten wir nicht alles im Gepäck transportieren müssen, wenn wir das gewusst hätten. Die Gaskartuschen waren beide leider halb leer und auch die Batterie des Schlüssels, sodass die Wegfahrsperre nicht immer funktionierte. Die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Service bordering on scam. 500 euros for 3 days rental van completely broken. The keys did not work. One door would not open. The patches to darken the van were broken. 3 interior lights did not work. The air conditioning only worked if you set it to maximum. At the end of the rental they charged me 700 euro damage 2 days after I ended the rental when I was not present. Rent with Yescapa, I recommend it.

Esperienza orribile, ci hanno affittato un camper mal funzionante con la batteria che non funzionava sin dallinizio, ma ci hanno detto che era un problèma del sensore e che si sarebbe ricaricato nel viaggio. Arrivati a destinazione non si era caricato nulla ed è andato tutto in black out. eravamo a un festival dove non si poteva caricare quindi non abbiamo mai avuto elettricità, in più la ragazza che lavora alla consegna dei camper di Lisbona ci ha detto che al festival dove stavamo andando erano interdette le bombole del gas portandocele via, arrivati al festival scopriamo che non era vero togliendoci lalternativa energetica del gas. Come rimborso ci hanno proposto solo il 10% e ci hanno sottratto una cifra non concordata per un danno accidentalmente fatto dove c era già una parte rotta e accollandoci la totale riparazione. Sono giorni che chiediamo delucidazioni via mail, ma non rispondono e continuano a sottrarci soldi. Fidatevi di noi, non meritano un euro sto pezzenti

PERDIDA DE TIEMPO, DINERO Y SALUD!! La experiencia fue lamentable, alquilamos hace 2 días la furgoneta para 3 dias y la devolvimos ayer. Según entramos la chica rubia que hay, ignora a mi novia y solo me dirije la palabra a mi. Exigen limpieza en la devolución que sino te la cobran y te dan la furgoneta sucia. Dicen que hay que pagar los peajes en una web que sino te quitan 25 euros por peaje y cuando voy a pagar 2 peajes veo que la furgoneta tiene deudas desde junio y no puedo pagar solo lo mío y me pregunto ¿con el dinero que nos ROBAIS, que hacéis? Porque ya veo que pagar todo eso no, lo que puede suponer que me quiten dinero de la fianza. Por el camino a Sagres nos damos cuenta que solo funciona algún enchufe y la radio no iba. Ponemos a cargar los móviles por el camino y los enchufes rompen la batería de uno de los móviles y ahora no carga más del 15% (móvil comprado hace poco). Todo esto más o menos pasaba, pero el colmo es cuando vamos a dormir y mi novia (45 kg) se tumba para dormir y el somier se rompe y se cae al maletero de la furgoneta (maletero en el que había trastos y era 1 mt de caida) con lo que se dobla la muñeca y hay que vendar y le da un latigazo cervical. Suerte que no se cae conmigo encima porque peso casi el doble y si ella sola se hace eso... No quiero imaginarme conmigo. Después de una hora arreglando el somier a las 11 de la noche por fin conseguimos dormir y decidimos contactar con la empresa por la mañana. Nos ponemos en contacto por el WhatsApp pero solo recibimos respuesta de un robot que contesta cada hora. A las 10 llamamos y nos sale un contestador diciendo que están cerrados y que su horario es de 9 a 19:00 (si las matemáticas no me fallan, creo recordar que las 10 está entre esas horas). Hasta que no indicamos los daños ocasionados y anexamos con denunciar no nos ponen con ningún humano. Como persona me gusta hablar con personas, llamadme raro. Luego cuando nos ponen con una persona nos dice que llevemos la furgo de vuelta a faro para que nos la arreglen para el día siguiente ( a todo esto ya habíamos perdido medio día de ayer y querían hacernos perder otro, perder 15 días de 3, así claro que se hace negocio si señor). Llegados a este punto ya no nos fiamos de la furgoneta, porque si algo taaan simple como revisar una cama no lo hacen bien ¿Como me fío que el resto de cosas funcionan como es debido? Decidimos ir a faro para tratar el tema (perdiendo ya prácticamente todo el viaje) Llegamos a faro y la rubia (no me acuerdo el nombre) tiene las santísimas narices de decirnos que hemos roto la cama y que tenemos que pagarla. El somier está con CINTA AISLANTE y una tela atando el resto de listones rotos y otro listón en diagonal atornillado. Le decimos a la chica ¿seguro que revisaste bien? Y nos dice si está perfecta a lo que le decimos que había cinta aislante y un listón atornillado, con lo que ya se calla y quién calla otorga. Y comienza a ignorarnos. Por otro lado seguimos hablando por el chat y la persona al otro lado del chat dice que está llamando a la oficina y que nadie coge. Le comento esto a la chica y nos dice que ella tiene el móvil y no está llamando nadie, un segundo después viene su compañera y le da el móvil ( que supuestamente tenía ella) y le dice que la están llamando. Después de esa llamada el del chat nos dice que iba a intentar devolvernos los días no disfrutados. Como habíamos contratado el servicio para dejar el coche en Lisboa (160 ) le decimos que eso también deberían devolvernos ya que lo estábamos dejando en faro. A lo que dejan de responder y hoy nos mandan otro link para gestionarlo por otro lado insinuando que no nos van a devolver nada. Nos hicieron perder el día de ayer entero con reclamaciones para no sacar nada en claro, querían hacernos perder otro esperando a la reparación de la furgoneta. Antes pierdo el dinero de la furgoneta(que por si indiecampers lee esto aún lo voy a pelear) que seguir perdiendo el tiempo con esa panda de impresentables que sois. Vamos que estos portugueses si algo saben hacer son negocios rentables y marear la perdiz.

Mi experiencia con IndieCampers fue absolutamente decepcionante. Alquilamos una caravana con la esperanza de tener un viaje increíble, pero nos encontramos con una cama rota que habían intentado reparar con cinta aislante. No solo fue incómodo, sino también peligroso. La otra cama también se encontraba rota y arreglada con una cuerda. Al contactar al servicio al cliente para resolver el problema, nos enfrentamos a una actitud desagradable y cero ayuda por parte de su equipo. En lugar de brindar soluciones, nos trataron como si hubiéramos sido los culpables de la situación. La falta de profesionalismo y empatía fue desconcertante. Además, nuestras reclamaciones han sido completamente ignoradas. Incluso preguntamos sobre el estado de la fianza y no hemos recibido ninguna respuesta. Nos prometieron la devolución del dinero de los días que quedaban de alquiler y hasta la fecha, no hemos recibido ninguna confirmación ni reembolso. Es frustrante y decepcionante tratar con una empresa que no valora a sus clientes ni se hace responsable de los problemas que causan. La falta de comunicación y atención adecuada es inaceptable.

Ich habe einen Wohnwagen in Faro gemietet. Bei der Ankunft fanden wir einen Wohnwagen vor, bei dem der rechte Rückspiegel mit Isolierband befestigt war und die Fenster kaputt waren und sich nicht öffnen ließen. Am 1. August in Portugal, bei extremer Hitze und ohne Klimaanlage, die auch nicht funktionierte. Wir baten darum, einen anderen Wohnwagen zu bekommen, aber die Mitarbeiterin vor Ort nannte mich übertrieben, meinte, es sei nicht so schlimm, während sie die ganze Zeit einen Ventilator in ihr Gesicht blies. Wir baten darum, einen Teil des Geldes zurückzuerhalten, da nicht alles wie erwartet funktionierte, aber ihre Antwort war ein deutliches NEIN.

Mon expérience a été désastreuse. Le réfrigérateur na pas fonctionné dès le départ, nous nous en sommes rendu compte et la jeune femme blonde qui travaillait là-bas ma dit que je devais me débrouiller sans réfrigérateur, que ce nétait pas si grave. En plus de cela, lors de la restitution, ils ont voulu nous faire payer la réparation du réfrigérateur. Ils ont conservé les 2000 euros de caution et nous ont demandé 1500 de plus. Est-ce quil est en or, ce réfrigérateur ? De plus, cinq minutes après lavoir pris, nous les avons recontactés pour les avertir, mais la jeune femme blonde a menti en disant que cela ne sétait jamais produit. Nous navions aucun moyen de le prouver.

Experiência muito negativa com a indie campers. Preço muito alto para um serviço de muito má qualidade. Enumero alguns dos pontos negativos: - veículo muito diferente das fotos e muito desgastado. Na autoestrada e muito barulhento - a bomba de água não estava a funcionar e tivemos de regressar a faro para tratar do problema - alugamos o paddle e foi nos informado que não haveria garantia que não tivesse furado. Fomos obrigados a encher o paddle nós mesmos para o verificar - o veículo foi nos entregue sem saber se tinha água no depósito ou eletricidade - nem sequer água para o limpa para brisas tinha - o cooler não funciona bem. Ligado a eletricidade congela, desligado rapidamente fica quente. Muito comida foi infelizmente estragada Por mim foi a primeira e última vez com a indie campers. A nossa van estava tão deteriorada que nem tinha os símbolos da indie campers (e posso compreender, é realmente vergonhoso).

Servicio poco atento. Me tuvieron esperando 3 horas y sin darme explicaciones. Se equivocaron con la autocaravana porque era de 5 plazas la que yo necesitaba. Me tuve que ir con una de 4 asumiendo el riesgo yo. Ademas al dia siguiente tuve q volver porque no funcionaban las ventanas y me faltaban cosas. Creo que pueden mejorar el personal trnajando la atención y comunicación con los clientes

The beds and the van are very comfortable for 5 people. Unfortunately this was not enough to make our experience 5 stars. Our van did not start for a whole day and we had to call more than 6 times to get an answer, because the roadside assistance 24/7 chat did not answer. We spent one night sleeping in the middle of the industrial zone of a town, unknown to us, in Portugal. We had to take care of everything ourselves and they promised us a refund more than a month ago that still hasnt arrived.

Pick up happened 1.5h later than we booked. Sporty model back doors not closing properly - dust coming in all the time, which meant extra cleaning for us day in day out. Sheets provided were nasty. Someones used contact lenses were stuck around the walls and fridge. Hair in several places. Fridge(battery was supposed to last 2 days on 8-10C but did not even last 24h. The bed was horrrrrrrible- do not use this for more than a night- we booked for around 2 weeks. Probably need to see a physiotherapist now and will take a long time to recover- we provably slept for around 4 hours at most. Please advise the people renting that this van is not for camping/sleeping in it as is OR provide them with a mattress that fits the bed there. People with vans rented from elsewhere (rivalling companies) seemed way more happy with their vans :)

Unser Trip und unsere Erfahrung: +80 gezahlt für late check in, nach Ladenschluss. Vor Ort niemand mehr da gewesen und wir wussten nicht was zu tun ist. Keine Anleitung oder ähnliches erhalten. Nach zwei Stunden mit dem Support bekamen wir endlich den Code für die Schlüsselbox. Nächste Überraschung, Bett kaputt, wurde unprofessionell mit Kabelbindern repariert. Kein Strom auch nicht bei laufenden Motor, egal an welchem Anschluss. Zwei Steinschläge auf Windschutzscheibe. Unbequeme (billigste Ikea Kissen mit 3g Füllung & harter Matratze) und laute Nacht verbracht vor der Pick-up Station, am nächsten Morgen haben wir unsere Probleme geschildert. Daniela war sehr hilfsbereit und verständlich, danke dafür. Um 14uhr hieß es dann, wir bekommen anstatt einem Active einen Atlas (deutlich luxuriöser aber gleichzeitig auch größer und unpraktischer) Auto hatte nur 65k km war dafür äußerlich schon ordentlich ramponiert. (siehe Bilder) Egal los ging es: Im Inneren gab es dann auch kleinere Abweichungen zum original. Zb ist an der Spüle wohl der Wasserhahn defekt gewesen und als Ersatz wurde hier ein Duschkopf angebracht. Völlig unnütz an dieser Stelle, wie soll man damit den Abwasch machen? Somit kommen wir zu unseren Equipment. Der Campingtisch roch nach Kotze. Der Pfannenwender war verkokelt, die Teflon-Pfanne stark verkratz und das gewaschene Geschirrhandtuch sah aus wie durch die letzte Gosse gezogen und getrocknet. Die Matratzen waren extrem weich und der Lattenrost teilweise defekt. Wie auch einige Kleinigkeiten im Inneren. Fazit: ~1 Tag Reisezeit verloren, Camper war so gross und wir durften nicht überall damit hinfahren wo wir hinwollten, die Wartung und instandhaltung der Fahrzeuge ist grauenhaft, trotzdem hat am Ende alles geklappt und unser Urlaub war sehr schön. Der Entschluss, keine weitere Reisen mehr mit einem Mietcamper, sofern man mit solchen Problemen in seinem Urlaub zu kämpfen hat und dafür solch einen Preis zahlen muss. Dann doch lieber Mietwagen und Airbnbs.

I give a overall 4 stars. Beginning the search from May 2023 for a camper (atlas). Found Indie campers. Prices for the same date / same model camper / same location goes from 490 to 950 . So from this you see Indie is to profit from tourists. I booked the camper. At the arrival there was a small issue with the warrenty but quickly solved by the people of Indie Faro. Getting the keys and explanation of the camper. - sorry this is broken, this is broken, ooo and this is a small issue. We found some other small things on the camper. But the owner of the Faro shop joined the conversation with his team member and he was very compassionate and we trusted the owner. His explanation was trustworthy. The problem again is Indie as company needs to pay attention to the quality of the items / campers. The shop-owners can only give what they get from the main company. The small problems on our camper where lack of maintenance/ service. Due to the shop-owner of Faro we trusted him and we drove off. It was the best camper holiday we had. Will I recommend Indie - maybe not, maybe I will recommend. Maybe Indie need to see to change there prices to the quality of the vans / campers. If I pay for a 5 star hotel I want quality. If I pay for 1 star I know I don t get a 5 star hotel. So the 4stars for this review is 1 for Indie company / camper and all other stars are for the owner / team from Faro. And I will book again at Faro.

I have to agree with the others the vans show signs of heavy use and less than optimal maintenance. In our Atlas, quite a few of lights and USB points not working. A side mirror that flaps in the wind while driving. A grey water hose not connected so waste water went directly on the ground. Grey water level meter not working. Cracked shower floor so water flows inside the whole van when showering. And a shower door that fell off during the first turn we did:) Diesel tank was full, but the AdBlue empty. But if you re not aiming for perfect and accepts a few quirks, this is going to be a nice experience anyway. The whole booking and pickup process were seamless and the staff very friendly.

Ich glaube wir waren einfach nur enttäuscht von dem allgemeinen Zustand des Autos und von der Ausstattung sowie der Sauberkeit. Der Blinker rechts war z.B. defekt damit einhergehend auch die ganze Elektronik des rechten Aussenspiegels den man dadurch nicht verstellen kann. Außerdem ist es nervig wenn man immer zur Fahrer Tür gehen muss um das Auto auf bzw. Abzuschließen, da die Batterie des sehr zerstörten Schlüssels leer ist und die Dame vom Check Out auf Nachfrage nur sagte das die normal ist. Das Klo ist auch defekt bzw die Spülung funktionierte nicht und die Dusche hat nur getropft und wurde nicht warm trotz Landstrom. Die Sauberkeit war sehr schlecht die Vorhänge waren klebrig und die Bettwäsche löchrig, was aber evtl. auf den Ausfall der Putzkraft zurückzuführen ist und das Putzen die Dame vom Check In übernommen hat. Die Surfboard waren fast alle defekt und z.B. mit Panzerband geklebt und die Neoprenanzüge waren sehr dünn und durchgetragen aber vielleicht waren an dem Tag auch einfach alle guten schon ausgeliehen. Vielleicht könnte man auch an der Ausstattung des Campers noch etwas ändern und nicht nur 3 einmal Lappen dazugeben sondern auch ein richtiges Abtrockenhandtuch. Als Kleinigkeit wäre es vielleicht noch schön wenn der Camper einen vollgetankt übergeben wird das macht das Nachtanken vor dem Check Out deutlich leichter. Unsere Buchungsnummer ist BLApomD6wNvw Update: Der Service nach der Reise war sehr gut und hat alle Fehler/Defekte anerkannt und hat sich schnell um das Problem gekümmert und versichert das es sich ändert und die Punkte verbessert werden. Arrendamos el Jeep Rebel con la carpa en el techo. El auto es muy potente y te permite ir a cualquier lugar. La carpa en el techo es muy muy cómoda, mucho mejor de lo que pensamos. Ñ nosotros trajimos eso si un saco de dormir para dos, ya que sino podría darte un poco de frío. Adicionalmente el auto tiene espacio (si es que se comprimen los asientos) para transportar una tabla de 7.6 de Surf. El Minicooler no lo recomiendo (viene gratis) ya que no enfría verdaderamente y ocupa mucho espacio. Los trabajadores de la sede Faro son muy simpáticos y atentos.

We rented an Indië campers van for 9 days. During the pick-up we met Rebecca from Indië campers who made us feel really save and explained everything very well. She was super patient with my questions etc. The trip was amazing, and so was the van! Note; before you book the van, read the insurance conditions. You can t book a premium insurances when you re younger than 25. But apart from that we had an amazing holiday, and thanks again Rebecca! For the great tips and the sweetest welcoming / goodbye. You gave our trip some extra joy!

Es hat alles gut geklappt. Das Bett hat etwas gequietscht und die Matratze war etwas hart. Am besten vom Camper bei Abholung selbst noch Fotos machen um später belegen zu können, welche Kratzer schon vorhanden waren. Wir sind mit dem Uber für 12 vom Flughafen zur Abholstation gefahren, da der Transport von IndieCampers 45 gekostet hätte.

Alugamos uma caravana, correu bem. Uma pena o pós venda ser tão fraco. Na tentativa de pagamento das portagens a colaboradora Mafalda disse que não conseguia resolver o problema em questão mas que se houvessem portagens por pagar cobravam uma taxa administrativa pelo mesmo. Em seguida, abandonou a chamada sem mais respostas para as questões colocadas. Depois que o cliente sai pela porta, deixa de ser importante, foi o que senti enquanto cliente. Lamentável.

A Indie Campers é para mim a melhor empresa de Caravanas em Portugal para fazer road trips. No entanto, com as nova lei de que as caravanas so devem estar estacionadas em parques defendidos para elas acho que a experiência compensa mais com um roteiro planeado. Overall foi uma experiência bastante agradável. Muito obrigada!

Die Location ist nicht ausgeschildert aber per Navi kann man das finden. Die Kollegen dort sind hilfsbereit. Wir haben einen Carvan gemietet, eine Super Einweisung zu dem Fahrzeug bekommen. Wir kamen ein wenig früher als geplant an und konnten in dem Wertebereich unsere Koffer für ca. 2h abstellen. Als Bonus haben Sie uns noch einen Mini Grill geschenkt.

Haben im Mai 2021 Indie Campers genutzt, Das Fahrzeug einwandfrei abgegeben allerdings bis heute unsere Kaution, die wir Überwiesen haben, noch nicht zurückbekommen. Werden immer vertröstet. Definitiv nicht zu Empfehlen!!! Have used in May 2021 Indie Campers, The vehicle delivered flawlessly but to this day our deposit, which we have paid transferred, not yet get back. Are always put off. Not recommended!!!

Absolutely horrendous service. We had a Jeep witha rooftent, which in itself was amazing. We booked a surfboard beforehand to have a surfing roadtrip, which on arrival was the most wrecked one I ve ever seen. Upon arguing that I would not take it for the full price, they agreed to do half price. After sorting everything out they did not even have a way to secure the surfboard and made us put it inside the car while jokingly saying I hope you have good communication skills , because we weren t even able to look at each other. If we would have crashed with this no insurance would ve covered anything. I decided to leave the surfboard (big part of our planned trip) and they weren t even able to call a supervisor to sort something out. They made me write a mail and told me something would be done about it. Additionally the cooler inside the car didn t work and the support just ignored us. After giving the car back they refunded us the whole surfboard and nothing else. That s their definition of service, so keep that in mind before renting anything from here. The car was fine, everything surrounding it was just awful and plain rude.

Tolle Preis-Leistung. Schnelle Abwicklung vor Ort mit genauer Einschulung für den Camper. Vor Ort kann man auch noch Extras dazu buchen. Camper war leider ein bisschen alt & auch von Aussen beschädigt, wurde aber alles geklärt. Im Grossen und Ganzen war ich sehr zufrieden. Team ist super freundlich und der Standort leicht mit dem Bus zu erreichen.

Nicht so einfach zu finden da eine Garage. Aber man kann in einer sitzecke warten bis die Übergabe erfolgt und sogar auf Toilette gehen.

The Indicamper (blue inside, grey outside, 4pax) was very old. Spaces not profitable inside the camper and very noisy when driving (furniture very old). The bath is always smelling, it takes 2h after water disposal to smell, I think it is not properly isolated. The most unconfortable is that the battery cannot support having the fridge on for more than 2h if not connected in a camping (this is the first time that happens to me!!). In summary the fridge was not working and we have no space to keep food for more than 1day. Furthermore the plugs were not working neither if not connected in a camping. The campers do not have inverter! The do also not have climatization systems. They do not have a solution for the tolls solved. We asked when arrived and they say to pay in office our own. it was ok until last day as we pass a toll and the same day we leave Portugal. Tolls in portugal can not be paid until 2 days and then you have 5 days to pay it or a fine will come. If I am not in portugal how can I pay it??? We still waiting for the solution as I do not want to pay a fine. Do I ave to stay in portugal 2 extra days to pay it??? That s their definition of service, they should associate their card to the van and then provide you the ticket of what to pay (even if they have 2000 in deposit!!!). Furthermore, they do not have a parking to keep you car meanwhile using the camper, you have to park in a comercial center 7min ago... This is not customer centricity.. The good points: the people in the pick up was very nice and explained everything very detailed. also nice that we arrived 1h late to the check out and they were fine with this :)

La experiencia muy buena. Trato muy amable. No tiene aparcamiento para dejar el coche. En mi caso las luces y enfriador no funciona si el coche no tiene el contacto o estaba arrancado, debía de tener la batería averiada. Y como detalle es bueno comprobar que la botella de gas de la cocina este lleno.

Decir que aunque la atención es muy buena, hemos tenido una mala experiencia. Habían algunos detalles en la furgo, cómo cortinas que estaban muy sucias, asiento del conductor que no se quedaba fijo y giraba hacia el lado contrario y lo peor fue que tras pararnos la GRN, nos dicen que la Camper no tenía pasada todas las inspecciones. Tras comentarlo con la empresa, nos dice que no es la primera vez que pasa y que es un error de la GNR, cosa que nos extrañó y si es así bien podía dejar un papel para explicarlo a la guardia. Por lo que decidimos entregarla un día antes y sólo recibimos una disculpa...

Buena experiencia. Elegimos el modelo active plus, muy cómoda, manejable y práctica. Trato genial. Nos dieron instrucciones y app para localizar sitios de pernocta. Recomendable. Repetiremos

Muy buena experiencia, que sin duda repetiré. El trato, las explicaciones del funcionamiento y consejos para aparcar el coche personal muy buenos, así como el estado de la camper. El modelo era Active Plus. La única pega sería que es necesario pasar al menos una noche de cada dos en un camping, ya que la batería que carga la nevera y tira de la bomba de agua se gasta en cuanto pasas una noche fuera sin conectarte a la electricidad. La ducha es algo agobiante, que sólo usamos cuando no aparcábamos en campings También compramos varias pastillas para la limpieza del WC que finalmente no usamos y aunque se las quedaron intactas, no nos hicieron la devolución Por lo demás muy bien todo

Todo fue estupendamente! A pesar de haber reservado con apenas 24 horas de antelación, no hemos tenido ningún contratiempo. Los empleados muy agradables y cordiales, la atención excelente, la camper muy bien equipada, camas cómodas, y muy limpio. Estuvimos dos adultos y dos niños y la verdad que ha sido un viaje para no olvidar. Fuimos con nuestro vehículo, desde Málaga hasta faro para coger la Camper allí , la zona es espectacular, un pueblo precioso. Las costas son una maravilla. Lo recomiendo 100%!!!

Keep smiling - Go Indie stand auf unserem Camper, allerdings hatten wir im Laufe unserer Reise nicht mehr das Bedürfnis zu lächeln oder nochmal mit Indie zu verreisen. Die erste Woche verlief problemlos aber in der zweiten Hälfte unserer Reise waren wir im Serra de Estrela Nationalpark auf dem höchstens Berg Portugals, als unser Camper nicht mehr anspringen wollte. Problem war ein defekter Chip im Schlüssel. Laut Indie sei dieser nass geworden, was jedoch nie passiert ist. Also schickte man uns einen Ersatzschlüssel an die nächste Poststation, der Allerdings auch nicht funktionierte. Bis dahin hatten wir schon 24h Zeit verloren. Also wurde uns ein Abschleppdienst geschickt der uns zu zwei Werkstätten gefahren hat. Letztere hat sich den Camper angeschaut und festgestellt, dass nur Fiat das Problem lösen kann. Da es nun aber Wochenende war, kamen wir nicht weiter. Also schickte IndieCampers uns ein Taxi nach Porto zu einem Hotel wo wit übernachtet haben und am nächsten Tag von dem Depot in Porto abgeholt und einen neuen Camper bekommen sollten. Jedoch kam keiner zu der vereinbarten Uhrzeit um uns abzuholen. Nachdem wir 45 Minuten später endlich jemanden erreicht hatten, wusste das Depot in Porto nichts von uns aber holte uns dann doch ab. In Porto bekamen wir den Sporty, obwohl wir eigentlich den Active gebucht hatten. Die kleinere Version stellte sich auch als deutliches Downgrade zum Aktiv dar, da der Ausbau des Campers eigentlich nur wie eine provisorische Vorrichtung aussah. Den Active den wir vorher hatten war deutlich besser. Die letzten Tage mussten wir uns also mit dem neuen Camper begnügen und von Porto wieder zurück in den Süden fahren. Bei der Abgabe in Faro wusste das Personal vor Ort weder von den unlimited Kilometer die wir bekommen haben, da wir ja nicht in Porto sein wollten und gezwungen waren bis Faro in den nächsten vier Tagen zu fahren und wollten uns deswegen nochmal extra bezahlen lassen, was sich jedoch noch geregelt hat. Zurück in Deutschland telefonierten wir wieder mehrmals mit IndieCampers hin und her über die Teil Rückerstattung unserer Kosten aufgrund noch offenstehender Zahlungen und der verlorenen 2 Tage sowie der Differenz zum kleineren Camper. Die Rückerstattung gestaltete sich auch als schwierig, da Indie und nicht so wirkliche Geld zurück erstatten wollte und wir mussten mehrmals hin und her diskutieren. Letztendlich haben wir jedoch ein Teil unserer Kosten zurück bekommen der allerdings nicht die zwei verlorenen Tage unseres Urlaubs so wirklich wett gemacht hat. Während unserer Reise mit IndieCampers mussten wir mehrmals die Unorganisiertheit der Firma miterleben. Nichts desto trotz war meistens ein Ansprechpartner im Call Center verfügbar, aber für uns heißt es nicht nochmal Go Indie.

Very helpful and a good service

The van we rented was full of dents and damages on the plastic. So they were clearly renting it without repairs in between. We had a superficial dent damage on our roof and they charged us 1540,- for it without any details or a clear invoice. When I request for more details they say its an automated proces that generates the costs. I feel extremely scammed by these people.

Buena experiencia, hemos recorrido Algarve y Alentejo durante 7 días 4 amigas y hemos disfrutado de nuestra casa andante. La furgo está muy bien equipada (ducha, WC químico, menaje de cocina q incluye cafetera) y las camas son amplias, nos hemos quedado con ganas de alargar más el viaje!

4-person van that allows standing. Well equipped (kitchen with refrigerator, chemical toilet, shower and two double beds, bedding and kitchenware that includes a coffee maker and everything essential) in good condition and clean. Good opinion to know Portugal

The staff was SUPERkind and everything was as expected.. except the fact that in winter time even Portugal is cold and the camper we rent wasnt insulated at all. Just that.

What can I say? Everything was the way it should be. The table with leftovers and books from previous travellers was a treat. The 2 ladies that were on duty , were friendly, most helpfull and drove us to the airport after we dropped of the camper. The only negative point was that they could not supply us with an extra blanket. It was januari when we made our trip and we had frost on the van at the atlantic coast! We had to buy an extra blanket.

Very nice staff in the depot. Lots of advice about travelling in a van. Online support is different though and doesnt answer emails for weeks. The van we rented was in great condition - a Mercedes with one big bed for two people. Check that the waste water tap is closed on check in though - we didnt and accidentally leaked some.

Good online support before booking and very friendly local staff. Camper was clean and in good condition. They give a very good explanation on how everything works before leaving.

We are very disappointed, that we have to remove the sevage of the previouse users. For this high price its tragic. The ned isnt a real bed, its on a table.

Op onze 10 daagse rondreis door de Algarve een sporty campervan gehuurd. Zowel het ophalen als het terugbrengen met gratis shuttle naar de airport verliep uitstekend, goede communicatie! We hebben genoten van de reis en camper, mede door de afmeting, uitstekend te manoeuvreren door de binnensteden. De camper was goed uitgerust en schoon. Voor herhaling vatbaar! We rented here a camper for our portugal road trip. From the order to the pickup, the instructions, to the dropoff, everything was perfect. The car was in a very clean and good condition. Equipment like in the description online, we even got a free barbeque grill with coals on top for free. We also took the cleaning service package, so you dont have to worry at the dropoff. The indie campers hotline is very friendly, helpful and very professional. The price is maybe a little more then some compettetors but therefor you get this exceptional service.

Fuimos 8 días de Faro a Lisboa y tuvimos un viaje increíble!!! Nos hicieron un upgrade a una caravana mejor de la que habíamos pagado y era mucho más espaciosa! Totalmente recomendable para un viaje en pareja, dormimos cada noche en playas increíbles y fue una experiencia única!

Even the pick up from the airport was in the middle of the night it was absolutely no problem! The explanation of the camper and everything around it was perfect. We had a great vacation afterwards!! I can absolutely recommend to rent a camper there!!

We booked a camper for the whole family and loved our Indie during the 3 weeks. Service was great, pick-up and drop-off no problem at all they even had kids entertainment. The introduction was good, the equipment onboard was sufficient. It was a great time and perfect service.

Really helpful staff. Process was efficient. I suggested the van should have floor mats in driving area, reduce moisture and contain dirt.

Ils vous louent un van pour dormir alors quils ont des problèmes de série sur laménagement du lit : une table sert de lit... Peu accommodants : ils vous font appeler les commerciaux qui essaient de vous faire accepter leurs conditions. Grosse entreprise qui cherche largent avant lentière satisfaction de ses clients. Très belle expérience. Bonne disponibilité de léquipe avant, pendant et à la fin. Départ et arrivée à Faro. Pris en charge à laéroport. Nous avons opté pour le van Urban car envie de pouvoir passer partout. Confort minimum mais suffisant. Bref tout sest bien passé on a rien à redire sur le service. Nous saurons vers qui aller quand nous souhaiterons à nouveau partir en van. Encore merci pour tout.
