1 hétre béreltünk kocsit biztosítással, közvetlenül a kölcsönz oldalán 216 EUR-ért. Hyundai Bayon automata váltós autót kaptunk. 0 EUR önrész, 0 EUR takarítási díj. Kerék, abroncs, alvázra lehet kérni biztosítást, de szerintem felesleges. Sima debit kártyával fizettem, nem kellett hitelkártya. Átadás, átvétel 5 perc volt. A negatív kommentek 99% abból fakad, hogy harmadik félnél foglalnak autót és emiatt hitelkártyára van szükség és 1500 eurós terhelést végeznek a kártyán.

Proste, fajne i ok. Tanio zap aci em za 7 dni w styczniu 2025. Przetransportowali mnie na lotnisko do 20 minut od za atwienia szybkich procedur. Zamiast Volkswagena T Roc dosta em Seata Aar w automacie i przez to nauczy em si je dzi w automacie. Po Maderze chyba nawet lepiej, pod te góry, bo nie trzeba si z tymi biegami u era . Polecam.

Wir haben einen Mietwagen über Check24 bei Magic Island gebucht. Die Abholung am Flughafen hat geklappt, aber erst einmal standen wir mit mehreren Fluggästen etwas ratlos rum die dort auch ein Auto gebucht hatten. Die Übergabe des Wagens war dann problemlos. Man wird darauf hingewiesen gerne vorher Bilder / Videos von den Vorschäden am Mietwagen zu machen. Was sich in unserem Fall bei der Abgabe bewährt hat. Der MA versuchte uns für Vorschäden verantwortlich zu machen die wir dank der Videoaufnahmen wiederlegen konnten. Was aber gar nicht geht und was einem im Vorfeld auch niemand sagt ist das die Kaution von 1500 nicht nur geblockt, sondern von der Kreditkarte abgebucht wird. Bei der Abgabe heißt es dann das die Erstattung ein paar Tage dauern kann. Auf Nachfrage bei Check24 heißt es dann das bei diesem Vermieter die Rückerstattung der Kaution bis zu 30 Tage dauern kann obwohl im Angebot steht das dass Geld NUR geblockt wird.

Leider eine absolute Katastrophe!!! Wir haben online einen kleinen Fiat gebucht. Die Autovermietung haben uns aber ein riesiges Auto vermietet was wir in den engen Straßen von Madeira aber nicht fahren wollten. Kleine Autos seien nicht mehr da, unser Pech. Auf Anrufe und Emails für einen nachträglichen Auto Wechsel hat niemand reagiert!!! Die Rückerstattung der Versicherung nach einem Lackschaden hat mehrere Monate gedauert und hat viele Emails gebraucht bevor mal eine Reaktion kam. Nie wieder Magic Island!!! Ich kann nur davon abraten. Diese Autovermietung hat uns einiges an Kopfschmerzen in unserem Urlaub bereitet. Shuttle vom Flughafen zur Autovermietung hat über eine Stunde gedauert! Deutlich zu lang gewartet für schlechten Service. Der Getränkeautomat an der Autovermietung hat mehrmals Geld von Kunden geschluckt ohne Ware auszuwerfen. Sehr oft bei unserer langen Wartezeit beobachtet und leider selber darauf reingefallen!!! Was soll diese abzocke und Betrügerei ? Die Kaution (1500 Euro) wurde einfach bei der Buchung komplett abgebucht und kam auch erst sehr spät wieder zurück auf unser Konto! Von der Kaution stand bei den Buchungsbedigungen nichts!

Vor Ort lief alles soweit reibungslos und das Personal war freundlich und kompetent. Allerdings warte ich nun seit über zwei Wochen auf die Rückzahlung der 1500 Kaution, obwohl uns vor Ort zugesichert wurde, die Rückzahlung würde noch am gleichen Tag stattfinden. Kundenservice ist zwar erreichbar, aber hilft einem nicht weiter. Ich solle doch einfach noch länger warten. Update: Die Kaution wurde nun nach 17 Tagen und mehreren E-Mails zurück erstattet.

Alquiler coche con rentalcars a un buen precio. Después leí las reseñas de esta compañía y me dio un poco de miedo al ver todo lo que comentaban, pero la verdad fue todo bien, a excepción de la fianza que tienes que dejar si o si, aunque hayas contratado un seguro (1000 fianza). En mi caso lo hice con una tarjeta de débito ya que al reservar me permitía hacerlo de esta manera. Ojo con eso ya que depende donde lo reserve solo puedes dejar la fianza con tarjeta de crédito. Me devolvieron la fianza a la semana.

Huur niet bij dit bedrijf! We waren op de afgesproken tijd op het vliegveld, maar er was geen shuttle service. Telefonisch ook niet meer te bereiken. We hebben uiteindelijk een taxi moeten boeken. Volgende dag meerdere gesprekken aan telefoon en aan de balie. Geen tegemoetkoming en we werden uitgemaakt voor leugenaars. Geen enkele excuses. Dit is de omgekeerde wereld. Wij hebben vaker auto s gehuurd en nog nooit zo iets meegemaakt. Zeer onvriendelijke behandeling!

Wir waren 10 Minuten nach der vereinbarten Zeit am Pick-up Beriech des Flughafens. Der Shuttle war nicht da. Haben nach 15 Minuten angerufen und keiner ist ans Telefon gegangen. Nach 30 Minuten kam das Shuttle, und wir wurden nicht mitgenommen da er zu voll war. Uns wurde gesagt, dass in 10 min das nächste Shuttle kommt. Nach weiteren 30min kam ein weiteres Shuttle. Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass wir nicht nicht mitgenommen werden, da wir zu spät sind und unsere Reservierung storniert wurde, da wir nicht pünktlich waren. Auch nach Telefonaten mit dem Office wurde uns nicht geholfen und wir standen ohne Auto am Flughafen! Sogar andere Mietfirmen waren schockiert von diesem Verhalten. Lieber ein anderen Vermieter wählen!

Günstige Preise. Schnelle Abwicklung. Tolle Fahrzeuge. War am Anfang etwas skeptisch. Hat aber alles super funktioniert. Am Terminal Augen auf halten- Schwarze Kleinbusse mit dem Magiclsalnd Logo suchen. Dort hat der Fahrer gleich unsere Buchung an die Station durchgegeben. Als wir ankamen stand der Wagen schon bereit.War die erste Autovermietung seit langem mit einer persönlichen Übergabe am Fahrzeug. Der Agent weißt einen nochmal darauf hin doch gern Fotos oder Video vom Fahrzeugzustand zumachen. Danach gab es eine Einweisung ins Fahrzeug. Hatte ich noch nie. Zum Schluss wurde einem noch mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Super. Die Abgabe war genauso unkompliziert. Nach nicht einmal 10 Minuten saßen wir schon im Shuttle und waren am Flughafen. Die Kaution wurde nach 8Tagen wieder gut geschrieben. Alles in allem top gelaufen

Abholung und Abgabe des Autos verliefen super schnell und problemlos. Das Auto war neu, sauber und man bot uns auch eine Einweisung an. Der Flughafenshuttle war nicht ganz einfach zu finden, aber dank der Rezensionen hier, machbar. Die Kaution wird abgebucht und es dauerte bei mir 8 Werktage, bis ich sie zurück erhielt. Für den Preis kann ich mich darüber aber nicht beklagen!

Die Kaution von 1500 wird abgebucht und nicht geblockt. Die Rückbuchung erfolgte erst nach knapp 2 Wochen und mehrmaligen Aufforderungen per Mail. Würde ich nicht nochmal buchen.

On avait peur avec les avis précédents mais honnêtement TOP ! On a loué une voiture via discovercar et tout sest très bien passé. Lorsque vous arrivez, il y a un numéro à appeler et cétait très rapide. On a été surclassé en Mercedes GLA. Javais peur vu la taille du véhicule mais cétait top ! Malheureusement le 2eme jour, lors dune randonnée, quelquun nous a abîmé la voiture... Nous avions donné une caution de 100e et pas 1500... on avait une carte de débit. Malgré le fait que la voiture a été abîmée, nous navons rien payé car nous avions pris la full assurance. On nous a même rendu notre caution de 100e 1 semaine après (car cest une caution pour lessence et pneu il me semble). Voilà :) les agents étaient tous gentils et parlaient très bien anglais. Super Autovermietung! Der Mietwagen hat unsere Vorstellung übertroffen. Vom Flughafen wird man mit einem kostenlosen Shuttle bis zu der Vermietung gefahren. Die Übergabe und Abnahme verliefen reibungslos und schnell. Vorsichtshalber trotzdem immer ein Video vom Auto zur Übergabe machen. Die Kaution haben wir wieder erhalten. Die Jungs vor Ort waren auch freundlich. Nichts zu meckern!

Abholung vom Flughafen per Shuttle der direkt vorm Flughafengebäude abfährt (gibt allerdings kein Schild). Für uns gab es sogar ein etwas größeres Fahrzeug als gebucht. Kurzer Schockmoment bei der Rückgabe, der Drop Off Schalter war geschlossen obwohl laut Öffnungszeiten (ab 7:30) offen sein sollte. Kurz vor 8 Uhr kam aber dann doch ein Mitarbeiter. Allerdings waren wir auch unangekündigt früher da. Alles in allem top Fahrzeug und Problemlos. Gebucht über Check24.

Wir sind wirklich überrascht, die Abholung vom Flughafen war etwas schwierig und hatten etwas Misstrauen bei der Rückgabe aber es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Der Preis war unschlagbar günstig. Jetzt hoffen wir auf rechtzeitige Rückzahlung der 1500 Kaution.

Do not book with this company, our flight was delayed so we were 1h10 after our planned arrival time, they cancelled our booking and kept our money. Apparently it was in the terms and conditions but we cant find it. Save yourself a terrible start to your holiday.

Haben über Check24 einen Volkswagen Polo oder Ähnliches gebucht. Stattdessen haben wir einen Mercedes GLB bekommen. Also ein deutliches Upgrade. Preis war nur 88 für fünf Tage. Abgabeänderung und alles andere hat auch super funktioniert.super zufrieden. Danke für den Tipp mit dem Schwimmbad am Flughafen

Super price/value ratio, fast, competent clerks. Clean, well-functioning car. We got a bigger, stronger one as requested. We had to wait for half an hour due to the many customers arriving at the same time, because they didnt answer the phone, and the transfer was also difficult.

En resumen hemos tenido buena experiencia, el precio muy bueno en comparación con otras empresas. Recomiendo tener a mano el teléfono de la empresa para llamarles al aterrizar para que vayan a buscaros, fue todo muy rápido. Está solo a 8 min aprox del aeropuerto. A la vuelta también nos llevaron al aeropuerto. Lo único que no me gustó es que te cobren el depósito de 1500 en lugar de retenerlo para luego liberarlo, tuve que meter dinero extra en la cuenta corriente para poder hacer la compra en el momento y El depósito tardó 11 días en llegar

Scrivo questa recenzione perchè al contrario di quello che ho trovato scritto qui, io e il mio compagno abbiamo avuto una bella esperienza. Il personale è gentile e disponibile sia telefonicamente che di persona. Il rapporto qualità prezzo (considerato che noi abbiamo noleggiato lauto nemmeno due mesi prima della vacanza ad Agosto) è buonissimo. Inoltre nel nostro caso abbiamo avuto un upgrade del veicolo da una Panda con cambio manuale a un Mercedes con cambio automatico senza alcun sovraprezzo perchè non era disponibile il veicolo noleggiato. Mi hanno anche insegnato a guidare con il cambio automatico con molta gentilezza e disponibilità. Infine, vi chiedono una cauzione di 1500 (dichiarata al momento del nostro acquisto su Discover Cars) che ci hanno ridato dopo circa 10 giorni. Consigliatissimo!

Sehr unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und hatten ein angenehmes Mittelklasse Auto mit Automatik, was auf der Insel einiges erleichtert. Würde ich wieder buchen.

Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich. Das Auto war so gut wie neu und hatte eine umfassende Ausstattung. Der Transfer vom und zum Flughafen war unkompliziert und pünktlich. Wir fuhren ein Auto der Mittelklasse und kamen auch in den Bergen sehr gut damit zurecht. Wir können die Autovermietung Magic Island in Machico empfehlen.

Ich kann die vielen schlechten Bewertungen nicht bestätigen. Die Mitarbeiter haben es sehr eilig und wirken gestresst, das ist das einige was ich auszusetzen habe. Auto war Top. Shuttle service auch.

Lagence nest pas à laéroport. Il suffit dappeler pour quils viennent nous chercher en van et nous amène dans leur agence (compte 10 mns). Ils nous ramènent à laéroport lots du retour. Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Bonne voiture, propre et très maniable (volkswagen T Cross). Caution débité du compte mais rendu 1 semaine après la restitution de la voiture.

Alles super verlaufen. Das Auto war sauber und noch ziemlich neu, jedoch mit einigen Schäden. Durch den online check in hat man vor Ort keine lange Wartezeit. Auch die Abgabe des Fahrzeuges ging schnell. Das einzige was ich zu bemängeln habe ist, dass der Fahrer vom Shuttle Bus beim Koffereinladen nicht hilft. Würde auch Trinkgeld bringen

Die Mietwagenstation liegt außerhalb des Flughafens und man wird dort mit einem Shuttle hingefahren (die Abholung am Flughafen ist draußen beim Ankunftsbereich im unteren Stockwerk vor der Bäckerei, schwarze Busse mit einem Schriftzug Magic-Island an der Seite). Es kann sein, dass man etwas auf den Transfer warten muss, bei uns hat sich alles mit einem Anruf über Check24 geklärt ohne Probleme. Das Auto an sich (Hyundai Bayon), das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und die Rückgabe waren völlig unproblematisch. Kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und ist deutlich günstiger als die Stationen am Flughafen direkt.

Wir waren im Großen und Ganzen zufrieden. Es gab sogar ein Upgrade (Mercedes A-Klasse anstatt Golf und Automatik statt Schalter). Auch die Rückgabe/Rückerstattung Kaution hat super geklappt. Warum 2 Sterne Abzug? - Als wir aus dem Flughafen kamen, stand dort nicht der versprochene Shuttle Service. Wir mussten 50 Minuten warten bis das Shuttle endlich kam, dazwischen hatten wir 2 Mal dort angerufen. So ein fataler Fehler darf einem Unternehmen einfach nicht passieren. Das ist so unfassbar schlecht, dass man eigentlich nur einen Stern geben dürfte. - Freundlichkeit war generell eher unterdurchschnittlich. Geht für ein Dienstleistungsunternehmen auch gar nicht. Einfach nur schlecht, wenn man solche Basics nicht versteht.

Hier eine Beschriebung wie ihr an den Shuttle kommt Am besten direkt nach Landung bei der Rufnummer von magicisland anrufen ( steht auch bei der Buchungsbestätigung ) Dann holt euch ein Shuttle vor dem Flughafen ( am Café to go) ab. Bei uns schwarzer Benz mit Magicisland Aufschrift. Danach fahrt ihr nach Gaula und dort erhaltet ihr euer Auto. Bei uns hat bis dorthin alles geklappt. Update 2 Wochen nach der Reise Habe die volle Kaution wie besprochen zurück erhalten :)!

Zwar war uns durch die schon bestehenden Rezensionen klar, dass sie anders als üblich nicht nur geblockt, sondern vollständig abgebucht wird, dennoch ist es ein unschönes Gefühl den Urlaub ohne Gewissheit zu verlassen. Bei mir kam die Rückerstattung dann aber wie versprochen nach einer Woche an.

Booked a Mercedes GLA Diesel Automatic - they offered on spot a last car in their garage a VW T-Roc (awful underpowered car), automatic but only has a 1 liter engine or so. They said its same car category, but its not! The VW is still automatic but extremely slow and feels like a Dacia Duster (drove in the past all these 3 cars so I know how these are driving). They werent able to arrange a change to a better car, the VW clearly doesnt worth the price! L.E. Used the S-Mode of the gearbox, slightly more power! All in all - a disappointing experience!

Die Mitarbeiter waren stets sehr freundlich. War unproblematisch. Die Kaution Rückerstattung hat 9 Tage gedauert. Hatte nach 8 Tagen mal per Mail nachgefragt und dann war das nächsten Tag da.

Even though the negative comments made me worry a little - there was no trouble at all :). As written before, they deduct the deposit from your credit card which is not that normal. But besides that: everything alright. Their pick you up where all the other rental car companies do their pickups. And of cause you get a transfer back once you returned the car.

Habe nach 1,5 Monaten noch keine Kaution zurückerhalten. Abstand halten!!

Wir waren leider über eine Stunde zu spät und unser Auto wäre laut AGB weitervermietet worden (ein Blick in die AGB lohnt sich). Die Mitarbeiter von Magic Island waren sehr bemüht und haben eine schnelle für uns gefunden. Mit dem Auto, was wir bekommen haben waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wir würden wieder bei Magic Island unser Auto buchen.

Absolutely dissatisfied! According to Rental Conditions, theres a window of 60 minutes from the scheduled time for picking up the car. Otherwise no-show / show-up-late policy applies which means no refund for fully prepaid bookings. Our flight was delayed due to circumstances out of our control. When arriving to destination airport contact person from local car agency informed us through the phone that our booking was cancelled. No formal notification of cancellation or trying to solve the situation from local car rental company Magic Islands Rent a Car. We were simply informed that our booking was cancelled and no car was available. Watch out for such situation and most importantly do not make prepaid booking at Magic Island Rent a Car at Funchal, Madeira. They are not interested in doing business with you!

Die Abholung und Rückgabe des Mietwagen erfolgt nicht direkt am Flughafen, sondern im Nachbarort ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Man wird aber vom Flughafen mit einem Auto abgeholt und dorthin zurückgebracht, was kostenlos war und sehr zügig funktionierte. Wir mussten nie lange warten. Auch die Abwicklung bei der Abholung und Rückgabe erfolgte schnell und problemlos. Die Preis-Leistung ist absolut fair.

Booked a rental through CarJet at a very competitive price. Collected the car in Machico which was quick and easy. Unfortunately ran a flat tire (replaced it myself) and went in for a replacement car. No problem whatsoever. The tires seemed misaligned and worn on 1 side. Very apologetic and was offered an upgrade. Very customer friendly service!

Detached from the airport, they await you outside with a shuttle that takes you to the garage where you can take your car. Nice and quick in managing things compared to many other competitors who have much more paperwork.

Very nice pick-up and delivery service. Nice driver/staff. The car was really great! Not new, but nice and fresh. Enough power for the extremely high and steep mountains. And last but not least: a very nice price!

Aucun soucis, un bon accueil à l aéroport avec leur service de navette aller/ retour. J ai récupéré sans problème mon dépot au bout de 10 jours. Je recommande sans problème !

I have reserved a VW T-Cross SUV for 2 weeks and am wondering how serious the unbeatable price offer of 15/day is! Thats 2.5 times cheaper than a small car in Madeira!

Alles super geklappt, der Transfer vom und zum Flughafen. Tolles Auto. Und ja nehmt auf jeden Fall Automatic für die Insel. Preislich fand ihn auch voll in Ordnung. Neues Auto aber ein bisschen groß für die Insel und den engen Straßen zu den Bergen. Das Geld war nach 1 Woche wieder auf dem Konto zurück. Gerne wieder

Batterie des autoschlüssels direkt leer am 2 tag. Es wurde gesagt das die Kaution auf der Karte Blockiert wird. Aber die Kaution von 1500euro wurde direkt eingezogen. Nach der Abgabe Vorort hies es die Kaution kommt in 1-3 werktagen. Nun nach 5 tagen immer noch kein Geld zurück bekommen. Nach einem anruf mit der Mietwagen Vermittlung hieß es plötzlich das es 14 Werktage dauern kann bis das Geld zurück kommt. Ich miete sehr viele Autos in verschiedenen Ländern aber so etwas ist mir noch nie Passiert. Keine Mietwagen Firma die ich kenne bucht die Kaution direkt vom Konto ab. Es heißt normalerweise nur geblockt auf der Karte ! Der Personal war sehr nett und gut.

Dont place a booking with them, they never return the deposit!!!! I rented a car from them on the 21st and 22nd of July, 2024 and provided a deposit of 1500. Upon return of the vehicle, I was informed that my deposit would be returned with 48 hours. It has been one week and the deposit has not been returned. They have refused to provide a transaction number for the refund and are now not answering my queries. I believe it is their intention to withhold the funds.

Sehr gute und schnelle Abwicklung. Die Abholung am Flughafen sowie die Rückgabe gingen schnell und unkompliziert. Wir haben die Adresse für die Abgabe gesucht, bis wir den QR Code am Beifahrer gescannt und die Route gestartet haben. Gerne wieder.

Since it took us more than twenty minutes to get to the rental form the airport, and it seemed a bit far, my mother requested the complaints book, because this information (about the location of the car) was not well specified in the voucher. At that moment, the woman that was in charge refuse us to write on the book, which is a customer right, and started talking to us a bit angry, so we choose to let it go. Will we were finishing the documents, a man began to shout to us during 10 minutes in Portuguese, and finally someone told us that they were not going to give us the car, and that If we made a complaint they would report it to the police. It was all crazy, they kicked us out and left us in a town without mobility, without even knowing where we were, without even asking us for a taxi. After walking several blocks we found a taxi, which cost us 60 euros to the hotel. It was honestly an aggressive situation, that ruined al least our first day, we cant believe it.

Avoid. The way they take deposit from your credit card. I Lost 50 pounds. Instead of pending transaction they did payment. I needed to pay for currency exchange 40 pounds. Then they send me deposit back which is less of about 10 pounds. They Pick you up from the Airport. Car was better than I booked. Overall its a cheap rent but plus cost of the way they take deposit it not worth a hassle.

Ich kann es nicht empfehlen. Ich hatte einen SUV gebucht, aber mir wurde ein Renault Clio gegeben. Obwohl ich darauf hingewiesen habe, dass dies kein SUV ist, hat der Mitarbeiter ernsthaft behauptet, dass der Kleinwagen ein SUV ist. Jetzt versuche ich über meinen Vermittler eine Erstattung zu bekommen, aber der Vermieter stellt Falschbehauptungen auf und weigert sich. Kein guter Kundenservice. Ich wäre bereit meine Bewertung hier zu ändern, wenn Magic Island eine teilweise Erstattung akzeptiert.

I was in Madeira to run MIUT. Got in touch with John who was super helpful advising which car to take to be able to reach the trails. Efficient, transparent and professional : very happy with the car rental & service offered.

It was my first time in Madeira. I researched companies for a long time and booked a car with Magic Islands. Initially the reviews scared me as they are really low. I dont know if its some local competition or what, but the bad reviews are not true. At least for my experience. Yes, its hard to reach the guys on the phone, but, its totally understandable when the staff works face to face with customers and they dont answer due to workload - its not a problem. Yes, when its your first time in Madeira and you dont know anything, its hard to figure out where to go. Maybe Magic Islands needs to do a little better job of describing the directions with pictures and arrows like for kids. A black Mercedes with company branding runs regularly from the airport to the pick up point. Here is the address from where to pick up the car: R. Dr João Abel de Freitas, 9200-130 Machico, Portugal The staff member is cheerful and very polite, cool guy like all the guys there. On google map there is another location with Magic Islands near the airport, but this is an old geolocation that was not removed from google maps, now there is 7m - another car hire company. Service, attitude, car - everything was excellent. I am completely satisfied. We returned the car on time, no extra charges for cleaning or damage, although we were careful. The deposit was returned in full. Im writing this review to help the guys lift the rating, because I think its unfair that a pretty good company has such a low rating.

Tout était parfait. Staff et Chauffeurs courtois agréable et rapide. Voiture en bon état (Panda hybride) et surtout pas de tentative de facturation de dommages déjà existants. Basé à Machico, 10 min de l aéroport. A recommander!

Location dune voiture avec boite auto (hyundai Bayon) pour 8 jours. Transfert de laéroport au lieu de récupération du véhicule et inversement par une de leur navette. Véhicule impeccable. Compte tenu des forts dénivelés de lîle (et cest pas peu dire!), je conseille de prendre une boite auto. Bien plus simple et moins de risque de casse dembrayage. Consommation XXL lié au dénivelé permanent de lîle. 2,5 pleins pour environ 700 km. Une station essence se trouve à moins de 1km du lieu de restitution du véhicule.

Upon arrival, the check-in process was swift and efficient. The staff was friendly, professional, and eager to assist. The vehicle itself was in excellent condition clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It performed flawlessly throughout my trip, which significantly contributed to an stress-free travel experience. Returning the car was just as hassle-free as the pickup. The drop-off location was convenient, and the staff quickly processed my return. Within minutes, I was on my way with no complications.

We rented a car from Magic Island and everything went smooth. The guys were professional, paperwork all done quickly, the car extrem clean and well maintained. The only negative thing I could write is the shuttle service could work a bit better. No one was waiting for us at, the airport. I called them and they sent a car but the driver took another group telling us that another driver will come in 5 minutes, as you can imagine that wasnt the case we waited another 30 min until the same driver came an drove us to the office. This made us a bit angry but we chose too enjoy the good weather and a coffee to go instead. But all in all we had a great,experience with Magic Island and will definitelyrent from them when we return.

Bezkonkurecni ceny. Auto novy VW. Vyzvednuti a vraceni na letiste probehlo bez prutahu a na cas, hlavne rano, kdy jsme to meli na minuty. Hvezdicku strhavam za pofiderni praktiky ohledne depozitu, ktery neblokuji, ale na ferovku strhavali (auto si pujcuju vsude a toto se mi jeste nestalo).Pokud by byl kurz v dobe navratu penze nizsi, tak je to docela podel. Dalsi hvezdu strhavam za vraceni penez, kde muselo probehnout nekolik telefonatu a e-mailu, abychom je dostali nazpet. Kazdopadne trochu adrenalinu, ale za 8 dni pujceni, 2. ridic v cene a full cover za 65 EUR nekup to :)

The car was great but the service so-so. Slow and indifferent at pick up. Refused to extend for an extra day and threatened us when we asked.

Good value, friendly staff. Only 7 minutes from the airport. Make sure you book an automatic car as the roads in Madeira can be challenging, and Id advise a small car if you plan to use car parks as they are really tight. A point deducted as the car, though new, had a lot of dents in it before we picked it up.

Definitely a no. Appreciate that I showed up a bit later, but was marked as a no show client (whatever that means). Now we have no car due to the unacceptable service provided by the company. Avoid

Wir hatten eine gute Erfahrung mit diesem Anbieter - auch wenn wir uns fragen, wie dort ob der sehr günstigen Mietpreise Geld verdient wird. Wir hatten einen neuen Mercedes in einwandfreiem Zustand und die Übergabe und Rücknahme verlief reibungslos. Auch der Shuttleservice zum Flughafen erfolgte pünktlich in einer neuen und sauberen MB-V-Klasse. Gestört hat mich lediglich, dass die Kaution auf der Kreditkarte nicht nur reserviert wurde, sondern gleich gebucht - das entspricht nicht meinen Erwartungen. Allerdings scheint diese Unart sich bei Autovermietern in letzter Zeit durchzusetzen...

Empresa que transmite zero confiança! O carro que reservamos online não foi o que recebemos. Carro com a embraiagem terrível para as férias na ilha. Quando chegamos ao aeroporto pelas 11h30, ligamos para tentar perceber onde íamos levantar o carro e disseram que uma carrinha preta nos ía buscar perto de um café. 40 minutos depois, ainda antes da hora da reserva, ligo para perceber onde estão porque não vi lá ninguém identificado. Dizem que me tentaram ligar e tinha telefone desligado (mentira porque mais tarde pediram-me o contacto para fazer o contrato, se me tentaram ligar já teriam o contacto...). Começaram com conversa que não íam resolver a situação, mas relembrei que a minha reserva era apenas às 12h30 por isso teriam de me ir buscar. Lá conseguimos o carro que não era o que tinha sido reservado. Até podem ter bons preços, mas atitude super mafiosa! Paguem mais para pelo menos estarem mais descansados durante as férias, nós nunca mais reservamos com esta empresa!

Ich hatte auch bedenken bei der Buchung durch die schlechten Bewertungen. Also wir kamen 1 Stunde zu spät an war gar kein Problem. Haben allerdings vorher angerufen. Wurden dann per Shuttle am Flughafen eingesammelt. Falls kein Shuttle da ist, einfach anrufen. Haben ein Upgrade bekommen und die Übergabe erfolgte schnell und auch alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Rückgabe wurde nur Kilometerstand + Tank kontrolliert. Wir hatten extra das Auto komplett sauber gemacht. Preis für 9 Tage war unschlagbar mit Vollkasko und 2. Fahrer.

Wir haben ne gute Erfahrung gemacht - haben Mittelklasse reserviert, einen neuen Hyundai i30 bekommen im super Zustand, vollgetankt, Vollkasko und Zweitfahrer inklusive zu einem guten Preis! Bei der Abgabe wurde alles korrekt abgewickelt. Nette Leute am Schalter. Man wird vom Flughafen abgeholt und wieder hingebracht. Kaution war 3 Tage nach Abgabe zurück. Gerne wieder :-)

The actual rental went fine and would have called for a five star rating. However, the credit card I had used to pay the deposit of 1,500 was blocked because of theft when I returned the car and couldn t be used to refund the deposit. I was asked to write an email and everything would be taken care of. Well, that was a worthless promise. I wrote several emails and complained through the rental broker but haven t received any response in more than two weeks.

They gave me a brand new mercedes benz automatic for a very cheap price. Drove all over the island for 5 days and only had to full up once. Nice employees and we never had to waste time waiting around for a shuttle.
