Valpi Rent OPO em Maia

We rent Peugeot 308 for 12 days at the end of August 2024. The car was in perfect condition, and they offered quite nice price also. No issues with car or their services. I would recommend this car rent company in Porto also because of really convenient location, 5 minute walk from International airport. Personal is English speaking so no issues with explaining us everything. Thank you for the great service which help us to enjoy our vacation in Portugal.

A shame!!! BIG SCAMMER! To Flee Online rental. When you arrive to collect the vehicle, you are told that the deposit is not possible with a foreign (French) card. You are FORCED to take out insurance at 400 euros. And if you don't want to, you're welcome to leave. Without a car.... Insurance paid with the French card of course. A great scam.....disgusting. A shame. I will never go back there again and if I could have given zero stars I would have done so. In addition, the welcome was cold, horrible, disrespectful The person spoke to me very badly. To vomit. Again. TO FLEE

Typical car rental company, but it stood out negatively by charging daily fees only for using the Via Verde (2€), that is, the cost of the actual tolls paid in addition to this amount. They take as long as possible to return the deposit. Other car rental companies return the part of the deposit corresponding to the fuel tank immediately. I would like to point out that my situation occurred because it was a replacement car due to an accident. After this, I will never book a car with this company, or ever ask for a replacement car with them again. Additionally, the lack of friendliness of the employee at the service desk is noteworthy. She treated me as if she was doing me a favor. Disgraceful.

I enjoyed the experience. Margarida was very kind. I had seen some complaints, and this scared me before renting the car, however, there is a strict charge for damage to the car, but I was warned about this before picking it up and suggested that I take pictures at the time. This is normal in any rental company. I understand this issue, since any damage that exists, there is a time that the car is stopped for repairs. I believe that this amount is included in the amount that is charged when mishaps happen. My experience was excellent and I thank the kind attendants.

The worst car rental company I have ever come across. First point: 100 euros deposit and they only give it back 15 days later 1750 euros deposit for inventory of the car upon delivery Replacement car for insurance and I have to pay for all of this, this is too bad to be true Very rude employee, if she were my employee she would be fired for just cause, she was very rude to my wife, I'm sure she didn't speak to me like that, you can be sure. I would start by checking the complaints book first, but anyway, keep the car, I'll get by by other means. But you can be sure that one day this will change. Cheers to all.
