Had really good experience with Sixt in VLC airport.

Nieuwe vorm van scam om een betaalde upgrade af te dwingen bij aankomst een uur eerder dan gepland. Auto ophalen in een donkere garage waardoor onderzoeken op schade van auto moeilijk is. Bij daglicht bleek de autolak in zijn geheel in slechte conditie te zijn. Hiervoor ook een extra claim ontvangen van Sixt.

Utilizamos los servicios de la empresa desde el 23/12/24 hasta el 2/1/25. Reservamos una VW Cady caja automática y nos asignaron unilaterlamente una Rifter Peugeot caja manual (primer problema: no nos ofrecieron un vehículo mejor de caja automática). Al llegar al Aeropuerto había una sola empleada, muy agradable, en verdad muy buena atención, una atención excelente, pero al estar sola se demoró el retiro de las llaves bastante más de lo esperado; y el tema del coche que no era el reservado ni mejor, no lo atravesamos de la mejor manera. El vehículo entregado tenía un olor a cigarrillo insoportable y estaba sucio por dentro, las dos cosas las hicimos saber mediante la encuesta web de entrega y nos ofrecieron ir al Aeropuerto a buscar otro vehículo junto con un descuento, pero nosotros no teníamos tiempo que perder y nos quedamos con un coche en malas condiciones (lección aprendida, para la próxima ni lo retiro). Lo otro que nos dimos cuenta al viajar hacia Alicante a los dos días, fue que las ruedas estaban desbalanceadas, por lo tanto el vehículo al ir a más de 90 KM/H vibraba en niveles insoportables (también se lo hicimos saber a la empresa). Por último, y esto ya para la fábrica Peugeot, la Rifter larga tiene una dirección o giro muy malo o corto con relación a su tamaño, lo que entorpece el ingreso y egreso de los parking que son estrechos. Conclusión: desde nuestra experiencia, mala relación precio calidad de servicio. No volvería a alquilar coche con ellos.

Awful service. We are regular customers, but they never give you the car you order. And in return they tell to take the car which is worse or another(instead of a sedan an SUV). Really disappointed with a service

ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE ESTE CASO!! Después de cientos de correos en contacto con Sixt y todos sus departamentos para gestionar este grave error, siguen sin enseñar las pruebas de la dispuesta infracción y te dicen que el ayuntamiento de Marbella ( que interpuso la denuncia ) me contactará, me imagino como si no tienen mis datos, pero es una simple excusa para cogerte el dinero. SIGO SIN RECOMENDAR ESTA ESTAFA DE EMPRESA. NO RESERVÉIS CON SIXT!! Reserve un vehículo por una semana y media y lo primero que me impactó fue que me dijeron que al no tener el vehículo de mi grupo tenía que pagar más por tener que escoger de gama alta. Hasta ahí, medio bien hasta que al llegar al aeropuerto me encuentro con el coche como si se hubiese limpiado con un trapo sucio mojado ya que quedaban marcas en todos los rincones del coche. Después de más de un mes de devolución me llega ahora una multa de el ayuntamiento de Marbella, Malaga, cuando el vehículo fue alquilado en Valencia y yo resido en Murcia. El supuesto día de la multa yo estuve visitando el Zoo de Murcia con mi familia ( envié varios correos a Sixt con las entradas de ese mismo día ) y después de varios correos electrónico a Sixt, sigo sin respuesta y planteándome poner esto en manos de la policía ya que considero una negligencia y un intento de estafa a pesar de que ofrecí a Sixt solucionarlo a tiempo. Dicho esto, no perdáis el tiempo ni el dinero con esta empresa que anda estafando al cliente.

Très mauvaise expérience dans cette agence Sixt de laéroport de Valence. Pourtant nous avions réservé une voiture. Après avoir essayé de nous rajouter des assurances inutiles, un deuxième conducteur payant, lagent de comptoir a refusé de nous donner une voiture au motif que mon permis était en mauvais état. Il est de 1988 et en effet, le temps a fait son office. Neanmoins, en 35 années jai loué des voitures partout dans le monde, sur presque tous les continents sans aucun problème. Je pense quils manquaient de voiture et quils ont préféré les louer plus cher à des voyageurs sans réservation. Notre tarif était de 219 pour 8 jours et les autres loueurs nous ont proposé des tarifs autours de 550 . Beaucoup plus rentable en effet. Finalement nous avons pris un taxi. MERCI SIXT !

Valoro mucho la claridad en los términos y condiciones de alquiler e información facilitada por el personal. Disponen de una buena variedad de vehículos, fueron muy amables y ágiles con la entrega y devolución del vehículo. Muy buena experiencia, si en un futuro necesito alquilar de nuevo definitivamente tendré Sixt en cuenta.

Kein Anstehen, direkt das Auto bekommen. Freundlicher Empfang. Der 7 Sitzer, wir hatten einen Van gebucht, war uns dann zu groß, wir konnten problemlos downgraden. Das Auto war ganz neu, hatte erst 800km. Wir entdeckten eine Delle erst beim ersten Stopp im hellen Licht, machten ein Foto. Gab keinerlei Probleme bei der Rückgabe. Immer wieder Sixt. Vielen Dank

Napisa em reklamacj ale do tej pory nikt nie odpowiedzia (3 dni) Nie polecam firmy - ja traktuj to jako prób wy udzenia.

Everything OK with the car and the people at the counter, all nice and helpful. BUT the parking is very dangerous and somebody robbed my documents, money and keys from the front passenger seat while preparing to drive. So dont trust the video cameras as looks like they dont work or nobody has access to them, not even the police where I complained. Be careful on Sixt parking or youll have such experience as well!!!

Its best to go to Europecar instead of this Sixt here in Valencia. We have much better experience with Europecar, even with actual accidents and damage. Unfortunately, we didnt take a photo when we accepted it and we simply received a 170 scratch report, which was definitely not something we did. So be sure to take a photo when you accept it! Such a mafia

Excellent. This was my sixth rental with SIXT in a year. The vehicles are in top shape, the staff is super friendly and professional. I land go to the SIXT office at the airport. in 15 minutes I am in my preferred car.

Wir mieten 6-8 mal im Jahr Autos am Flughafen Valencia und vergleichen deshalb immer die Preise zwischen Avis, Europcar und Sixt. Zum ersten Mal war Sixt das preiswerteste Angebot. Wir haben ein kleines Auto gemietet. Bei der Abholung mussten wir relativ lang am Schalter warten, obwohl alles vorgebucht und bereits bezahlt war. Es haben sich immer wieder von rechts und links Kunden angekündigt, die ganz schnell was erledigen wollten, diese wurden von der Dame am Schalter auch immer angenommen, was unsere Wartezeit immer weiter verlängerte. Als wir an die Reihe kamen, wurde uns kurz der Vertrag am Bildschirm gezeigt, und wir sollten ihn sofort unterschreiben, ohne dass er ausführlich erklärt wurde. Im Nachhinein stellte sich heraus, dass einige Klauseln anders als bei anderen Vermietern sind. die Dame, betonte extra, dass Sixt das beste Unternehmen sei. Danach mussten wir mit unserem Handy den Bildschirm abfotografieren, um zur Schlüsselabholung ins Parkhaus zu gehen. Bei Übergabe war das Auto ausgesprochen sauber geputzt und sah ordentlich aus. Der Wagen hatte Mindestausstattung, üblicherweise bekomme ich in der Nebensaison tatsächlich bei anderen Vermietern deutlich bessere Ausstattungen. Der Wagen hatte ringsherum diverse Beschädigungen und Macken, wie bei den meisten Mietwagen in Spanien üblich. Wie immer habe ich das Auto rundherum fotografiert, ein Foto von jeder Seite. Wir fahren relativ wenig Auto in Spanien, es steht überwiegend in unserem Carport auf dem Hausgelände. Bei der Rückgabe des Autos überprüfte die Dame am Schalter wie üblich von außen und innen das Auto. Sie machte uns auf eine schwarze Berührungsspur am vorderen fahrerseitigen Stoßfänger aufmerksam. Ich sagte ihr, dass mir kein Unfall oder eine Berührung im Laufe der Mietzeit passiert ist. An dieser Stelle hätte ich es auf jeden Fall auch gemerkt, denn das Auto hatte akustischen Abstandswarner. Leider war ausgerechnet diese Stelle bei den Fotos, die ich bei Abholung gemacht habe, nicht sichtbar. Sie beschuldigt mich trotzdem, dass ich den Schaden verursacht hätte und drängte mich zur Unterschrift auf einem elektronischen Gerät, auf dem der Schaden auf Spanisch beschrieben war und für mich so nicht nachvollziehbar. Ich leistete die Unterschrift, weil ich ja auch zum Flugzeug musste. Ich teilte der Dame aber mit, dass ich damit nicht einverstanden bin. Im Anschluss an die Reise gab es ein unübersichtliches hin und her von Schriftverkehr auf Spanisch, bei der von mir Fotos gefordert worden von dem angeblichen Unfall. Da mir aber kein Unfall bewusst war, habe ich natürlich auch keine Fotos davon gehabt. Auf meine Einwände wurde überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Letztendlich kam eine Rechnung, die aus meiner Sicht unangemessen hoch war. Bei einem anderen Vermieter hatte ich in der Vergangenheit einen Nagel im Reifen, die Vorgehensweise war dort wesentlich professioneller, mir wurde direkt vor Ort gesagt, welche Schadenshöhe zu erwarten sei. So konnte ich damit besser umgehen. Aus meiner Sicht kann ich am Flughafen Valencia diese Niederlassung nicht empfehlen, bei den anderen Vermietern habe ich das Gefühl, wesentlich professioneller und ausführlicher informiert und beraten zu werden, außerdem gehen dort die Abholung und Abgabe wesentlich schneller und freundlicher von statten.

I had no problem with the car. Big issues with warranty returns. I keep peoples money to get interest on it. I felt that being the most expensive, they are fair. I was sorely mistaken. I do not recommend!!!

Ich muss hier Sixt Valencia auch abmahnen. Die Machenschaften sind mehr als ungewöhnlich. Wir buchten einen MB Benz oder ähnlich, am Flughafen meinte man dann, wir hätten gar keinen Mercedes und würden Audi im Programm haben. Allerdings hätten sie für uns nur einen Audi A5 Sportback vor Ort. Der würde aber nur etwas Aufpreis kosten. Das wollte ich aber nicht, ich wollte die MB C Klasse. Bis er denn damit rausrückte das an dem Standort keine sind. Ich wollte aber was gleichwertiges wie angegeben. Da bekamen wir auf einmal den A5 so, ohne drauf zu zahlen. Uns ist es erst bei der Abholung im Parkhaus aufgefallen. Man wollte uns also erst noch Geld für den vermeintlich besseren Wagen abknöpfen. Erst im Parkhaus viel uns dann auf was da versucht wurde. Man sollte also vorsichtig sein wenn man in Valencia einen Wagen holt. Irgendwie schon traurig. Das Personal war dennoch freundlich! Und wichtig, schliesst diese Versicherung für Blechschäden ab. Valencia ist ja unglaublich. Niemand achtet auf ein Fahrzeug. Im Nachgang hatten wir zwei Schäden, bei dem durch andere Verkehrsteilnehmer durch Einparken der Leihwagen beschädigt wurde. Und die Parkhäuser sind eine Katastrophe!

Great people, great service and great cars. Every car is just like advertised and the people and service is way above every other rental company. Even if something is not quite as expected, the staff does everything possible and more to make it right! And that s what matters the most. I highly recommend SIXT in VLC!!! Five stars!!!

Scammers! They will charge you for something they didnt say. You arrange one price, both sides agree on that, you sign the contract. After you give the car back and go out of the country they charge you a lot more than the agreement was. Really bad business handling by well known name like sixt. Edit: they returned money which wasnt shown as costs at making deal of the last prices for rent. But still watch out so they dont do the same for you with charging extra hidden costs

I like SIXT overall, especially in the USA. However this location needs to replace and train better new front desk staff. Horrible attitude and lack of professionalism.

La atención del personal de Sixt en el aeropuerto y Sorolla son súper amables y la disposición para ayudar a escoger en el alquiler de los coches sobre todo el señor Alejandro del aeropuerto súper atento y la responsabilidad de los empleados ya que avía olvidado unos lentes de sol de 300 pavos y me llamaron que los avían encontrado en el coche que avía alquilado muchas gracias los recomiendo 100% 100

Como siempre, es un placer contar con un equipo, como es el de Sixt aeropuerto Valencia. Muy atentos, amables, profesionales e infinidad de adjetivos positivos para esta sucursal. Esta semana me atendió Cristina, un DIEZ! Muy educada, siempre con una sonrisa (ya que no es la primera vez que me atiende) y mucha dedicación por su parte, logrando así, que tu paso por la sucursal sea con trato profesional pero muy cómodo. Vehículos muy limpios, prácticamente nuevos a estrenar y con muchos extras en equipamiento. La sucursal es muy fácil de encontrar, además un detalle muy importante, es que tienen estacionados los vehículos en la propia puerta. Lo recomiendo 100%!!!!

Even though we had 4 hrs flight delayed,the staff were punctual when opening the office to pick up the car,friendly,helpful,understanding and on the return car,staff were happy and professional in their job.I definitely will recommend the company for anybody.

Un trato fenomenal, especialmente ante nuestras circunstancias: nuestro coche nos dejó tirados, con cuatro niñas pequeñas, y Tania (la dependienta de Sixt del aeropuerto de Valencia) nos atendió con especial rapidez y cariño. Nos proporcionó un precioso VW Caddy que casi estrenamos nosotros, y el precio fue realmente bueno. Señalar además que Sixt es la única compañía que te permite salir de España con el coche, cosa que es para nosotros al menos muy importante.

La oficina está al lado de la salida del aeropuerto, el trato fue agradable y cuando entregamos el coche el personal fue muy simpático y rápido. La experiencia que hemos tenido con otros alquileres ha sido pésima, pero con ellos el trato y el precio es económico y justo (nunca hubo un coste adicional). Si volvemos a Valencia, seguramente repetiríamos.

Dont rent from this company. I was charged by Sixt for pre-existing damage which was already listed on the rental agreement when I received the vehicle. Additionally I had paid for loss damage waiver coverage. It should have been an easy check by the employee who inspected the vehicle, but now I have to go through this process of fighting a damage claim, which never should have occurred in the first place. It seems like this rental location engages in fraudulent practice if they are not verifying pre existing damage prior to submitting damage claims.

Nous avons loué un véhicule déjà fortement abîmé (signalé sur le contrat) mais on nous accuse au retour d autres sinistres mettant en doute notre parole. Impossible de faire le tour du véhicule avec quelqu un de chez Sixt, c est a nous de prendre des photos et les envoyer via un lien. Aucun mail pour confirmer que vos photos ont été envoyées (donc pas de preuve). Doubler vos photos pour prouver votre bonne foi. Ou sinon, ne louez pas chez Sixt.

ATENTION when renting from SIXT Valencia airport. I recently rented a car from SIXT, and I am writing to express my disappointment and concern over being charged for pre-existing damages. During the rental process, I declined the full insurance coverage offered. However, upon returning the vehicle, I was accused of causing damage that was already present when I took possession of the car. From the outset, it was evident that the car had numerous scratches and marks. I have photographic evidence and notes detailing these pre-existing damages, which I can provide. Despite this, SIXT has attempted to hold me responsible for these damages, seemingly because I chose not to purchase their full insurance. This practice feels unfair and misleading. Its disconcerting that a reputable company would resort to such tactics. I believe this is an unethical way to encourage customers to purchase additional insurance, and it has significantly impacted my trust in SIXT. I hope this review serves as a caution to future customers to thoroughly document any pre-existing damages and be wary of declining extra insurance. I also urge SIXT to reconsider their approach in handling such situations, as it tarnishes their reputation and damages customer trust.

Vorsicht bei Upgrade! Wir haben übers Internet ein zugegebenermaßen günstiges Automatikfahrzeug gebucht, für 36.27 Euro netto pro Tag. Bei der Abholung bot man uns einen Skoda Octavia zum gebuchten Tarif an. Alternativ könnten wir als Stammkunden jedoch einen besseren Audi Q3 für nur 60 statt 90 Euro pro Tag haben. Ärgernis Nummer 1: Die freundliche Dame von Sixt vergaß zu erwähnen, dass es sich nicht um GESAMTKosten, sondern um MEHRkosten pro Tag handelte. Ärgernis Nummer 2: auch diese 60 Euro pro Tag fanden sich nicht auf der Abrechnung wieder, dort wurden es dann 78 Euro pro Tag (Mehrkosten)! Ärgernis Nummer 3: Ohne Stammkunden-Sondekondition hätte ich den größeren Q5 am gleichen Ort zur gleichen Zeit für 91,99 pro Tag im Internet buchen können statt der 114 Euro pro Tag, die ich letztlich bezahlt habe. Ärgernis Nummer 4: Auf eine schriftliche Beschwerde reagierte die Station in Valencia mit belanglosen Textbausteinen, die letztlich auf Folgendes hinausliefen: Ätsch, Sie haben es doch unterschrieben. Wir sind transparent. Da hätten Sie halt besser aufpassen müssen! (Was natürlich stimmt, aber wegen der gleichzeitig einbehaltenen Kaution und der seltsamen Nichtanrechnung des eigentlich schon bezahlten Internet-Betrags auch etwas verwirrend war). Die zentrale Kundenbetreuung in München reagierte auf die Beschwerde überhaupt nicht. Fazit: Beim Upgrade entweder dankend ablehnen oder genau prüfen, ob man nicht plump übervorteilt wird oder zur Konkurrenz ausweichen.

Pozor jsou to podvodníci!!! Zarezervoval jsem si p j ení auta za 118 EUR, vozidlo jsem p evzal s plnou nádr í s tím, e ho s plnou nádr í vrátím. Nyní SIXT po aduje zaplatit 346 s tím, e mám zaplatit za prémiové poji t ní, které jsem necht l, za tankování vozidla (p itom jsem ho vrátil s plnou) a za prémiovou lokaci auta a za dal ího idi e. Na nic takového jsem upozorn n nebyl, ádné takové slu by jsem nepo adoval a necht l. Této p j ovn se v ichni zdaleka vyhn te!

The main problem with my experience was that I was charged for unjustified costs: - 84 for a small scratch on the mirror, which I did not make (there are pictures of them in the attachment - judge for yourself) - 16 for late return - I returned the car 2 minutes BEFORE the scheduled time! I did not get comprehensible answers to my comments, only an invoice and a request for payment. In addition, the seller was very pushy with very expensive additional insurance, a more expensive car and other additional services. When I refused the additional insurance, the salesman argued in a threatening tone that in this case there could be high costs. However, I declined the insurance - this is probably the reason for their unjustified additional charging of costs.

Easy to find in the airport. Good service and we got a very new car (~6700km).

We returned the car few minutes early and they charged us late return, a month later we also got a report, saying there is supposed to be a scratch on the left mirror, and that we have to pay 80 euros.. There was no scratch, it was a total scam. At the end we had to pay it, otherwise we would have even higher costs.

He venido desde francia a alquiler un coche por mis vacaciones con mi mujer y mi hija, primero al llegar la persona a la recepcion, ni nos saluda y esta muy desagredable conmigo, me dice que tengo que pagar 68 mas porque acaban de pasar las 12.00 ( de 3 minutos, habiamos avisado del retraso del vuelo y nos habian confirmado que iban a esperarnos ) y que hay que pagar mas, no entiendo el porque, habia puesto en la reservacion el numero de vuelo que ha tenido retraso desde bruselas. Aun asi acepto de pagar el extra, despues de algunos minutos, la misma secretaria me dice que : « no me puede confirmar el alquiler porque su sistema sin darle la razon ». A este momento son las 12.15 de la noche, teniamos reservacion PAGADA pero nos quedamos sin coche ni posibilidad de alquiler otro por culpa de la incompentencia del personal de SIXT y particularemente de este persona, en fin pido al menos tener un papel o un email que me confirma que mi reservacion esta cancelada, pero me rechaza diciendome que tengo que ponerme en contacto con el email de contacto por hacer mi reclamacion. En fin, cuando le he dicho que no me iba a ir sin prueba que me iban a reembolsar mi reservacion, ha llamado a la policia por hacernos salir de ahi. Me he quedado sin coche, ni forma de ir hasta alzira con 4 grados fuera y una niña de 11 meses por la culpa de la incompetencia de este agencia y de su trabajadora. Alquile en España mas de 10 veces en SIXT. Y es la primera vez que he sido tan maltratado siendo cliente. Si quieren pasar buenas vacaciones en la comunidad valenciana, huir de este agencia y de su personal. Si podia habria puesto 0 estrellas.

Haben ein Auto gemietet, dieses hatte schon einige Kratzer. Die Kratzer habe ich fotografiert und auf deren Webseite gespeichert, trotzdem wurde ein Kratzer mir zu lasten gelegt, obwohl der Kratzer vorher da war und dies über das Foto auf deren Webseite gesehen werden konnte. Glücklicherweise hatte ich alle Fotos auch auf meinem Handy gespeichert und der Fall wurde zu meinen Gunsten entschieden, aber erst nachdem 650 von der Kreditkarte belastet wurden

Arrived to take car on December 9th 2023 having telephoned and emailed earlier to confirm cars run in the group booked. We arrived to be offered a completely different car to the cars we were advised were in the group booked. A very rude, aggressive and unhelpful Mr M Manuel on the desk said we had to take the car offered or take a manual or pay for an upgrade. Surprise Surprise a SEAT Ateca which we were told was in the group we had booked was claimed to be an extra cost upgrade. We have rented from SIXT in Spain for years and are suppose to be GOLD level customers. We have never been treated as badly or had such a bad experience. Indeed we had a Gold ticket to give a member of staff who we felt was giving good service. A scheme SIXT were running for previous customers. we went next door to Avis with whom we are also preferred Customers and were treated as customers should be treated we rented the type of car we wanted which was presented in good condition all of the staff were very helpful and professional and we returned the car to Avis 3 weeks later again to be greeted by friendly helpful staff. From this one experience of Mr M Manuel we would not in future rent from SIXT Valencia. It is such a shame for SIXT when one member of staff can ruin a long term customer relationship. But we did ask to speak to a manager or someone else to be told no-one was available. We went to the office in the car park to be told they could not change anything because Mr Manuel had been there for 8 years and was considered a senior member of staff. We telephoned customer services to make sure our reservation had been cancelled and they had nothing to add saying they couldnt do anything to help. Ridiculously poor service from SIXT Valencia.

I decided to rent a premium car, and Sixt decided to give me a cheaper car without a navigation system. Excuse me, but how is a navigation system an additional feature for a car rent at an airport? I actually chose Sixt as I thought they wouldnt trick me with stuff like this, like the cheap car rental companies usually do. Any company that rents out cars without a navigation system only tries to save a couple of euros and doesnt care about its clients comfort and safety. Next time, I might as well rent a car with a cheap company, as Sixt plays exactly the same tricks.

Cuidado con esta gente y las fianzas. Alquilé un coche 2 días con tarjeta de débito extranjera y 30 días después aún no me han devuelto los más de 560 euros que me deben. Según cuenta, no depende de ellos sino del banco. ¿CÓMO NO VA A DEPENDER DE ELLOS? Son unos ladrones.
