One of the best rental experiences I have ever had. The procedure was fast and the car was new and perfect. Special thanks to ms Dirsem for all her help and understanding.
We recently rented a car from Alamo, and unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. While the car we received was brand new, it had a significantly smaller boot than what we had originally booked. This caused major issues for us as we were traveling with ski equipment, and fitting everything in the car was a struggle. As a result, our journey was uncomfortable and far from what we expected. To add to our frustration, there were additional charges that were not made clear at the time of booking. By the end of our rental, we ended up paying 80% more than the initial quoted price. This unexpected cost increase left us feeling disappointed and misled. While the car itself was in great condition, the lack of transparency and the mismatch in vehicle size soured the experience. We would advise future renters to double-check vehicle specifications and inquire about any hidden fees to avoid surprises.
We rented two cars on December 31st. The pick-up and drop-off went very smooth. The staff was really nice and they helped us choose the most suitable car for us. There was no queue (but it was New Year's Eve so maybe that's why). Bureaucracy was minimal. They made sure that we understand all the important information and provided a small flyer containing it (it also contained the exact GPS location for car return, which is great). One of the cars was quite new (about 24.000 km) and clean but it had a few issues. The frontal collision alert was non-functional, the car warned us about it upon each engine start and probably because of that the wrench dash light was lit since we picked up the car. Also the infotainment had issues. At times it went off completely then restarted and made a very disturbing noise (like a bang, it was startling us each time). The second car had much more mileage (~85000km) but it was in good condition. Since we opted for full coverage we didn't really look for existing damage to the cars, but we didn't notice anything. Also the winterization was supposedly included for both cars, but the tires were all-season (acceptable but not ideal) and the washer fluid was freezing immediately once outside temperature dropped below zero (quite problematic for us). We had no problems with the payment - they charged us with the extras that we requested and blocked an extra 250EUR (which were returned promptly after the rental). The final invoice is quite impossible to understand though. We booked via Auto Europe. All things considered, we would rent from them again next time.
I had the worst experience during my travels due to renting a car from Alamo at Munich Airport. The service was inadequate; I was given a car that already had many scratches when I first arrived. However, since there was no staff to assist me during the car pickup, it’s possible that it wasn’t checked at that time. But don’t worry, I have full video evidence of the car’s condition when I received it. When I returned the car, the Alamo staff said everything was fine and there were no issues. But after i back to my country, they took 211 euros from my deposit without any prior confirmation or explanation.
We started our Christmass holidays very badly due to Alamo car rental Munich! We had booked a 9-seater van in February only to be informed that our van was not available! And the man at the reception got angry at us as it was not his fault that the van was not available! We had to wait 2 hours in a long queue and the options they gave us were: get a full refund, go to the centre and maybe there is a 9 seater available! or wait and maybe some cars will be returned as at that time only small cars (class A) were available! Which was not an options as we had a lot of luggage and ski equipment with us.The service was a disgrace and with young children this was not acceptable for us. We had to wait another hour to wait until 2 larger cars were available for us to take and lots of other people with the same issue. We had agreed to get the 2 cars for the same price as the van but they wanted to charge us even more! Very bad service and no apology from Alamo received. Be aware of the company as although you think you have reserved a car with them it may not be available. We ended up paying double the price for the fuel since we ended up with 2 cars and not one van and they even charged us the double amount for the crossing of the border! Ending up with 2 cars resulted also in additional charged such as parking etc. This is totally unacceptable. Update 23 January - although they reply and tell you that they will look into it just to let you know that I provided all my details but they still did not get back to me! Be careful when making any reservations with this company!
We booked our car long in advance with a specific Large SUV category for our ski trip. When we arrived in Munich we were given another category car BMW 5 series with rear wheel drive and car had number of errors in electronics from headlamps to other issues. I raised the issue with the manager at the Emerald counter and his response was ,terrible , he said tough luck we don’t have your car category and take what we give you. Very rood person, very aggressive and has zero customer service in mind. After fighting for a different car for over 1,5h one of the employees eventually got us Tourag , which had number of electrical issues but at least was an SUV. We had issues driving with error message constantly interrupting our drives. This is unacceptable and one of the worst services I have received in over 20 years from a car rental company
I do not advise anyone to rent a car from Alamo. A complete scam. 40 days after returning the car, 120 euros were withdrawn from my card. No notices or evidence. I sent a request three times to find out the reason. They don't answer. The car was returned in perfect condition. Take а car from others and don’t be fooled by the low price.
After my bad experiences with OKMobility at MUC (invoiced non-existant damage, unable to send damage report, got credited by the cc company at the end), I decided to book at Alamo. Very friendly service, got an upgrade, no pushing of extra services, normal reservation charge 250 € (OKM reserved 2000 €....). Great car, no problems, return was very smooth and friendly as well. Final invoice came within an hour of returning with no surprises. All in all I can highly recommend Alamo at MUC. I got a great price but would consider Alamo next time even if it were more expensive.
Llevo más de 15 días luchando con esta empresa. Después de hablar directamente con la oficina y admitir que era un fallo del sistema. Sigo sin obtener ningún tipo de respuesta. Servicio de chat Álamo una vergüenza. Alquilo coche del 10-1 al 12-1. Devuelvo el coche día 12. Me cobran dos días mas. Tras llamada telefónica y enviar mi reserva del 10 al 12 y mi núm de vuelo con salida ese mismo día. Su respuesta es que es un fallo del sistema. Que me responderán en breve. Nadie da señales de vida. Un fraude absoluto. Empresa cero recomendable. Ahora después de intentar por las buenas tendré que intentar por otros medios que me devuelvan lo que es mío. Es imposible devolver un coche en Munich día 14 cuando salí a Barcelona día 12 a las 21. He hablado con la oficina directamente el día 21 con número de queja CL384445. Demostrando con documentos su fallo. La respuesta es que te llaman en 2-5 días. No llaman . Y cuando reclamas te dicen que ahora son otros 2-5 días . La peor atención y empresa de alquiler

Terrible give Alamo a miss , long queues staff could not be bothered, terrible customer service I ordered and paid for a Mercedes ended up with a Golf. Not good at all felt sorry for families with young children being messed around after a long flight..

Perfektes onboarding am Flughafen In München. Schnell, Kompetent und alles papierlos. Ich empfehle daher alles vorher online einzugeben. (Führerscheine etc.) Fahrzeuge sind schnell Im Parkhaus gegenüber zu erreichen. Die Rückgabe erfolgt zentral im Parkhaus und dauert keine Minute. Transparente Preis- / Leistung, keine verstecktes Upselling vor Ort gegenüber dem online Preis. Sehr gerne wieder.

Angelo hat alles ganz wunderbar erklärt und mit bester Laune am Morgen um 08:00 Uhr alles perfekt abgewickelt. Ich hatte keine Wartezeit und zu guter letzt hat auch das Fahrzeug meinen Wünschen entsprochen. Ich kann Alamo absolut empfehlen!

We we very surprised Alamo is closing at 11pm. Our flight got late 40min and the Agent name Luka saw that we are landing soon and he stayed extra time to wait just for me and my friend! So glad that we can still meet kind people!

Deren Opel Corsa piept mich ständig an, wenn dieser glaubt, dass ich zu schnell fahre. Der Button, mit dem dieses Verhalten deaktiviert werden kann, hat der Autovermieter ausgebaut (links von der Hupe): https://www.manualslib.de/manual/373531/Opel-Corsa.html?page=143#manual Jetzt piept mich die Karre ständig an und lenkt mich vom Straßenverkehr ab. PS: Und für die sprichwörtlich billigste Ausrede hierbei - Wozu habe ich bitte eine Vollkasko-Versicherung abgeschlossen?
Es war eine große Schlange am Checkin, das war aber sicherlich dem Weihnachts Reiseverkehr geschuldet, sonst war alles sehr gut und wir haben sogar ein Auto in einer etwas größeren Klasse bekommen, als wir gebucht hatten.

Erst 1h in der Schlange stehen, dann gesagt bekommen, dass das Auto noch nicht da/verfügbar/gereinigt ist. Also nochmal warten bis es da ist. Insgesamt warten wir hier schon 2Stunden und noch immer ist das Auto nicht da. Das ist innerhalb von 2 Wochen die zweite schlechte Erfahrung mit Alamo/Enterprise. Wir werden nicht mehr Alamo/Enterprise buchen.

NEVER GAIN! They reply here to fool you, they will not reply when you call their customer service. If you forgot something in the rental car, consider it gone forever. I forgot a sunglasses and a document ( the sunglasses was actually right on the document), they returned only the document and said COULD NOT find the sunglasses. They returned the document only after i told them it is very important and i need the document, then it showed up suddenly.. but of course without the sunglasses.

Achtung Betrug! Wir haben eine Buchung vorgenommen und erst hat alles super funktioniert. Bei der Abholung des Wagens hat der Alptraum angefangen. Ein Mitarbeiter hat einen neuen Vertrag aufgesetzt und unsere Zahlung auf den bereits bestehenden gebucht. Bei der Rückgabe des Autos war noch alles in Ordnung. Zwei Wochen später wurde dann die Karte mit dem doppelten Betrag belastet. Am Telefon konnte uns keiner mitteilen was hier passiert ist und eine Rechnung war auch nicht vorhanden. Nach stundenlangem telefonieren mussten wir dann noch einmal persönlich zum Flughafen fahren. Dort wurde uns erklärt, dass das ein Versehen von einem Mitarbeiter war und der Betrag zurückerstattet wird. Seit drei Wochen hat sich da nichts getan. Wir warten immernoch auf über 1000 !!! Einfach nur eine Frechheit und Nerven aufreibend. Alamo hat uns den ganzen Urlaub versaut.
Habe heute für einen Tag einen Mietwagen benötigt und ganz unkompliziert vorab über die Webseite reserviert. Mike am Schalter hat sich super gekümmert: Mit einer 1a Beschreibung habe ich den Wagen direkt gefunden und die Rückgabe war auch sehr einfach und komfortabel. Der Wagen an sich war genau wie zuvor gebucht.

A very good car rental company. I originally booked a manual transmission, but ended up switching to an automatic transmission. The car was very new and the mileage was only 8,000 kilometers. Returning the car at Munich Airport is also super easy. Someone will check it when you drive to the designated place, and the credit card pre-authorization will be canceled on the same day. Its very good and recommended.
The service was a bit lacking. First they tried to give us a completely wrong car they wanted too give us a 7 seater whilst we were just with 2 whilst we expected a opel corsa. They told us about the upgrade after we signed. After we told them that we didnt accept this car they tried to give us a smaller car in the range that we would have gotten but with a extra fee of 10 euros per day. So not the best experience.

Buenos días. Pongo esta reseña para denunciar a esta empresa ya que no nos devuelve la fianza de uno de los dos coches que alquilamos con ellos. No nos contestan los emails, ni las llamadas. Pasamos todos los controles de calidad de los coches y no hubo ningún problema, nos dijeron que llegaría la transferencia en 4 o 5 días. Seguimos sin respuesta desde Julio. Voy a proceder a poner una denuncia a la policía por estafa. Una vergüenza.

Pre-booked a car, paid for zero excess insurance. Pick up was slow as the counter was busy. Car was new, clean although a different model from what was booked. Issue arose, our fault, because we forgot phones in the car when returning it. Contacted the phone number on the agreement when we got off the flight. Was assured an email would be sent to the manager and he would be in touch. Have not heard anything from them since. I expect better service and courtesy from a large company. Disappointed and unlikely to use again.

A place looking for profit only. They took a high amount from us, hoping to return the deposit, but it did not return. It does not accept a rechargeable visa, and their laws are difficult. All they care about is withdrawing money from you.
Service is very german robotic but lovely. They take their time to explain the things and needed sign multiple things even though i have done the fast track process. The desk is odly in front of the door therefore a line formed is not that handy. The car that i got is really dated, no bluetooth for music connection, no navigation, no usb only a smoking outlet. The car drove really bad i had manual but it seems it does not want to work with me. Maybe because it is alamo and not enterprise you get the low budget cars but why dont they stated? I was expecting toyota aygo, meany pleasant experience.

I rented an automatic SW car. Service was quick and attending Did not try to push me the upgrade or buy expensive insurance The car I ordered was not available so they upgraded me to a better car. Car was in an excellent condition. The return of the car was easy and quick. Did not try to charge me after the return of the car for cleaning (like happened to me with Sixt) I would highly recommend using them based on my experience.
Die Reservierung erfolgte vorab Online über einen anderen Anbieter. Am Service Point leider einiges an Wartezeit, was verständlich ist an einem Flughafen. Jedoch gibt es keine Möglichkeit für bereits vorgenommene Reservierungen die Wartezeit abzukürzen, was etwas ärgerlich ist. Man muss also warten, bis man dran ist und das kann je nach Wünschen und Unwissenheit anderer in der Schlange vor einem, zu längerer Wartezeit führen. Wünschenswert wäre hier ein Schalter für bereits vorgenommene Reservierungen. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort seins freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird alles erklärt und man bekommt sogar einen Info Zettel mit den wichtigsten Daten.
Wir haben online über eine Buchungsplattform unseren Mietwagen bestellt, nachdem wir kurzfristig umdisponieren mussten. Der Preis war trotz der knappen Buchung äußerst fair, es gab sogar noch ein Upgrade für uns von Oberklasse auf SUV. Als wir zum Flughafen kamen,standen an anderen Konkurrenzunternehmen unzufriedene Urlauber in langen Schlangen an,wir jedoch kamen bei Alamo direkt an die Reihe. Die Mitarbeiterin war sehr freundlich und nach 5min konnten wir schon Richtung Parkhaus weiterziehen. Auch sehr nett war, dass sie uns darauf aufmerksam gemacht hatte, dass wir unsere Führerscheine bis Januar umschreiben lassen müssen. Unser Auto war neuwertig und tip-top in Ordnung,überall gab es freundliche Mitarbeiter,die uns sofort den Weg gezeigt haben und die gesamte Abwicklung verlief sehr angenehm und freundlich. Wir werden wieder bei Alamo buchen. Dankeschön.

While the rental itself was fine the excessive processing fees for a 15 euro parking really put a dampener on our experience. It was 30 to process the fine. No real engagement on their part they wanted their money and that was it. Something to be aware of when booking with them, while you may money upfront it could cost you more in the long term

Das Abholen des Wagens hat einwandfrei bei der Alamo/Enterprise Station geklappt. Die Mitarbeiterin war überaus nett und konnte auch einige Fragen bzgl. Landesgrenzüberschreitung beantworten. Ich würde definitiv hier wieder mieten.

Einmal und nie wieder. Nach der Anmietung des Wagens kam zwei Wochen später eine Rechnung über 1000 wegen zwei Kratzern an der Tür, welche vor Fahrtantritt von uns festgestellt wurden und an den Mitarbeiter in München gemeldet und er diese dokumentierte. (Angeblich) Zum Glück hatte ich über check 24 gebucht wodurch ich die Summe wieder erhalten habe auf der Bearbeitungsgebühr bleibt man aber sitzen.
Rented two cars from Alamo. Upon arrival, we queried whether it will be possible to merge the two vehicles into a single bigger one. The receptionist was kind enough to comply and guided us through the process with ease. Also went to great length to explain everything on the car, our trip to Austria from Munich and other items we should be aware of. A great overall experience, especially after a late night flight with kids.

Das war der freundlichste, entgegenkommendste und hilfreichste Mitarbeiter, den ich je in einer Autovermietung erlebt habe. Ich glaube Yannick war sein Name, war selbst zu aller spätester Stunde extrem freundlich, hat uns ein tolles Auto gegeben, bestens erklärt, wie wir dorthin kommen, und hat uns auch mit anderen Ratschlägen, was unsere Reise nach Österreich anging, sehr weitergeholfen. Er kam uns auch mit diversen Zusatzzahlungen sehr entgegen. Ich würde dort jederzeit wieder mieten.

Der nette Mitarbeiter vor Ort erzählte mir noch großzügig, dass es bei Alamo ja eine Kulanz von 30 Minuten pro Tag gäbe, man können ja mal im Stau stehen...dann aber wurde von 12:46 Tag der Annahme (gemietet 13 bis 13 Uhr) bis 13:27 Tag der Rückgabe ein voller weiterer Tag in Rechnung gestellt. Irgendwie nerven diese Anmietungen mittlerweile. Auch ALAMO wird von meiner Liste gestrichen...

We received great service from Alamo! I had used a 3rd party booking system to book with Alamo AND booked from the wrong airport - we thought we would have to forfeit our booking and pay again. Instead we were welcomed with exceptional customer service - The staff moved our booking over to Munich Airport and assisted us with no issues. On return, Tom received our vehicle and was extremely helpful and kind. We will certainly book with Alamo again!

The insurance fixes that for free and even if you have to pay it is not worth 1000 euros. They dont want to give us the invoice for the repair. I dont believe that fixing that is worth that money. ¡Nunca alquileis con esta gente son estafadores! Me cobraron 100 euros mas por no dejar el coche full/full por solo 2km que hice de mas. Por otro lado y cuando me pusieron una multa de aparcamiento de 30 euros van y me cobran por la gestion otros 30 mas asi por que si y se quedan tan anchos. Mas caro alquilar un coche con ellos que el viaje en avión. Jamas volvere con ellos.

Schnelle, freundliche und professionelle Abwicklung durch Mitarbeiter Ertu. Es wurde sofort ein Fahrzeugupgrade, statt Seat Arona ein nagelneuer Volvo XC60 Hybrid angeboten. Es entstanden keine zusätzlichen Kosten und es wurden keine unnötigen Versicherungen aufgeschwatzt. Fahrzeugrückgabe superschnell und problemlos.

We reserved a car with another company that gave us many problems resulting in not being able to claim our reserved car. We went to other companies to see if someone could get us a van. I rented a car with my family to travel to Austria. When the the staff person at the desk noticed we had 4 suitcases, he offered to upgrade us to a larger car so we will travel more confutably, at NO extra charge. They we every accommodating and very nice. I would highly recommand Alamo rent a car service.

Imagine getting to your hotel after 16 hours of travel, ready to fall into bed and start adjusting your body clock to your new time zone. Now imagine how your sleep-deprived brain and body react when you and your traveling partner discover that a Very Important Bag is missing. You know you took it off the plane, you know you brought it to the rental car, but each of you thought the other put it into the car. Imagine getting back into the rental car, driving all the way back to the airport, searching the area around where your car was parked, and finding *nothing*. You re already trying to figure out how you might be able to replace the items in the bag when you try one last avenue: walk to the Alamo desk to see if maybe, just maybe, some kind person found your bag and turned it in there. Now imagine the elation - and the utter relief - when the friendly person at the counter not only has found a bag, but asks what color it is to ensure you re the actual owner. How you can t stop smiling as the kind person apologizes for having riffled through the bag because we were trying to find an ID or some other indication of whose bag this might be. Now that you ve imagined all that, know that this Alamo has great cars, at good prices, with quick service and no lines. Every part of our experience with them was positive, and we will absolutely rent from them again when we come back.

Just terrible, rented a Peugot 5008 Friday the 1st of April. The next day we got a jacket stolen which contained the car key. We have had no access to the car our clothes, medication and ids which are also in the car. Impossible to contact anyone at the office so we went back to the office via 100 euro taxi as its an emergency. Paid 200 euro at the office and were told the key would be there the next day. 4 days later we are no closer to getting the key and we have rented a new car. Shocking, hopefully someone from head office picks this up.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!!! Complete Scam!! Just like the review from Andy, I am having the exact same experience. They are extremely nice and friendly at the check in desk and once you return the car they charged me 950 euro for a small scratch that was already on the car when we got it. Myself and my travel companion took photos and videos with timestamps to prove it was on the car previously to ourselves, there was absolutely no staff member in the carpark to show this too and the desk is about a 15 minute walk away back in the terminal. I am still in a dispute to get a refund and will be going legal as this is a complete scam. The fleet supervisor Daniel Slusarenko I was emailing with the proof of videos and timeatamps he asked for stopped responding as soon as I sent him the evidence and submitted the claim without my consent. Please stay away from the Enterprise group as I have never experienced such blatent fraud and I can only wonder how many times they have gotten away with this.
I travel to Munich once or twice a year to visit family and usually book a car through and online portal, usually Kayak. For some reason prices are still lower on these sites, rather than direct. I usually pick the lowest priced provider in the category I like. The last 3 or 4 times its always been Alamo and my experience has been very good every time. Expectations from a car rental are generally not too high. As long as you get the car you booked, its clean and doesnt smell of smoke the product is pretty much the same everywhere. What been really nice at Alamo is that there are usually no queues to get the car and the last few times I was served by this really nice guy called Leo. He is always very cheerful, efficient and polite. As mentioned, I have only been there a few times and he even recognises me from afar smiling happily and just being very positive. Not something you see very often, even in some of the best places, and not necessarily something you expect at a car rental. I thought its worth a review. Enjoy!

I rent a car and confirm it 2 months in advance and my family vacation is planned on such a car, i arrive to the airport, they give me a smaller car and say that all we have... Have been chasing their customer service for over 6 days with no solution, ruined my family vacation... Not just Alamo, the whole group Enterprise group... Very very bad service from this branch and from near by branches - no body really cares after you have actually paid... And in this year, they would be happy to cancel your reservation because they can cancel it and there is high demand of people wanting to rent at a higher price which is why I think they are giving our reserved cars to new clients on purpose. Had the greatest recent experience with Alamo in Munich airport. Picking up the car was easy and very quick. The return is what makes this story unreal. We ventured to drive back to Munich from Verona on the day of the flight. The traffic was awful and we were very close to missing our flight. My wife could not find the phone number for the office so she e-mailed the generic e-mail provided on the website asking if there was a chance for somebody to meet us at Terminal 2 departure to get the car so we can spare every minute for flight check in. We got a call back from Christian in 15 min, he asked how far we were from the airport and how full our tank was. We were 20 min away driving some local roads and we told him that we will pay whatever price was that day to fill up the rest of the tank. When we pulled to Terminal 2 Christian was waiting for us with a smile. He asked us to make sure we got our phones and all the belongings from the car and wished us a safe flight. He refused to take a cash thank you . We made the flight thankfully to this great far-and-beyond customer service. Thank you Alamo team and Christian for helping us when things looked desperate.

Had booked a car through an on-line car rental booking agency. When I arrived in Munich there was a discrepancy (dates, vehicle class) with what my confirmation voucher had and what Alamo Munich had in their system. Not sure what caused the error. This was the first time the customer service (Yannick) had ever seen this. Despite this confusion, Yannick was very helpful and got me on my way in short order with the car I had booked.

2x bei Alamo gemietet, 1x 3 Wochen Sommerurlaub und jetzt Fzg. für ein Skiwochenende. Beide Male war Ertu unser Betreuer und hat uns 5 Sterne Service zukommen lassen. Beim ersten Mal gabs ein kostenloses Upgrade auf die höhere Fahrzeugklasse und den Zusatzfahrer kostenlos, beim zweiten Mal ist er mir beim Tank entgegengekommen. Nur wegen ihm werden wir wieder bei Alamo buchen. Das ist Kundenservice.

Eine absolute Frechheit vielleicht sogar Betrug mit System. Mir wurde 26,99 abgebucht für eine angebliche Tankfüllung. Ich habe 2 Minuten vor Abgabe den Wagen komplett (am Flughafen) vollgetankt. !!! Und der Link in der Email mit der Rechnung (wo man sich beschweren kann) geht nicht.
Literally frauds. I rented a Kia for one week. They were really nice at the counter at the airport. But then in the parking area was no one from service to talk to. The car had one big scratch and luckily I made a photo with the time stamp so I had prove. A week later they found that scratch and another one at the tire cap. I had luckily prove for the one but for the tire cap they wanted 850 Euro for the repair. That s ridiculous. The worst thing: without even contacting me, they booked it from my credit card. I buy 4 new tires for that money. 850 Euros to repair a scratch? PRobably they will not repair it anyway. Anyway it is with my lawyer now. I am just warning you: make photos of everything right in the beginning and don t trust them.

The rental was quick and easy and the clerk was very helpful until I needed help over the phone. 2 days trying to get in touch with them - either no answer or the got connected to other branch. After I got connected, I was promised that I ll get a call back - no one ever called back. Emails remained unanswered as well. just terrible customer support

Great customer-oriented service at a very good price! Rented a car for a week for our snow trip. By accident booked a mechanic gear and managers found us an automatic for the same price. The car - fresh Kia Xceed - was very nice and clean, and actually fit all our stuff (2 ski bags and additional baggage), though considered to be a compact. Return was even easier, took like 5 minutes and no hassle at all. Highly recommend!

Da ich einen Wagen für eine unbestimmte Zeit brauchte, habe ich mit einem Mitarbeiter telefonisch eine individuelle Vereinbarung getroffen, die von einem anderen Mitarbeiter bei der Abholung bestätigt wurde. Prompt war die Abrechnung zu hoch und keiner war zuständig oder entscheidungsbefugt. Obwohl der Sachverhalt einfach war und ich ihn mehrere Male erklärt habe - zudem ging es nur um ein paar Euro - wurde die Rechnung nicht geändert. Das ist weder vertragsloyal noch kundenfreundlich. Da das Auto in Ordnung war: 2 Punkte. Tipp: jede Vereinbarung schriftlich fixieren und sämtliche Namen der Mitarbeiter notieren.
Too expensive, I guess, comparing to US. If you decided to rent a car here, I recommend: 1. save gps point of the parking, when you start. I got lost, drived to another parking where spent 5eur. 2. Ask for phone number. They didnt write it on their business card (I was surprised). And when I tried to return car, I was confused. All rest is fine: car ran ok, service.... could be little bit better if some guy can show your car ater you received the key. But its not a big deal.

The receptionists service attitude was extremely poor from the beginning . During the subsequent car rental process, the car body was so dirty that no scratches or anything else could be seen. We reported this problem on the spot and she said strongly that she does it every day. When doing these things, it is very clear what is a scratch and what is not. If we all do as she said and just go around and sign, do we still need to inspect it together? We have so much international car rental experience, and this is not our first time renting a car at Alamo, but we didn t expect to encounter such a bad service staff in this city (a woman, I don t want to offend all the other hard-working employees), There are so many car rental companies, so just choose another one if you can... Easy to collect and return the car. Obviously, make sure that there arent any issues with it before collecting it, so that you dont lose your deposit (250E) or be charge extra. Although I collected the car around 11:20pm, the person (Bettina) was very helpful and friendly. If you collect the car late, make sure you go to the desk within the airport where all the other rental companies are, and not directly in the car park. Would recommend!

Ich schreibe sonst keine negativen Erfahrungsberichte. Leider muss ich dies nun tun, da ich jedem von einem Mietvertrag bei Alamo/Enterprise unbedingt abraten möchte. Ich möchte nicht das jemand meine Erfahrung auch erleben muss. Ich lieh mir Mitte Dezember einen Mietwagen, um damit in ein Skigebiet zu fahren. Nun fiel meine Wahl auf Alamo, da ich hier ein anscheinend gutes Angebot fand. Dies hat sich leider im Nachhinein als großen und teuren Fehler herausgestellt. Bei der Autoannahme fielen mir direkt einige *Kratzer an der Karosserie* auf. Das Alamo-Personal war offensichtlich kurz angebunden, sodass sie die Mängel nur schnell niederschrieb (leider zu ungenau, wie sich später herausstellte). Ich benötigte Schneeketten, also lieh ich mir für meinen Trip welche für 40 EUR bei Alamo. Das Personal bestätigte mir auf Nachfrage, dass diese auch passen würden. Prompt auf der Anreise, musste ich von diesen Gebrauch machen. *Die Alamo Schneeketten passten aber nicht auf die Räder!!!* Was nun, Umkehren und Urlaub abbrechen? Ohne Schneeketten würde es gefährlich werden, Eis und Schnee auf einer unpässlichen Straße nunja. Per Email wurde mir versichert, dass ich mein Geld für die Schneeketten zurück bekäme. Soweit stellte man sich bei Alamo wohl kulant dar. Nach meiner Rückreise und Abwicklung der Automiete wurde es dann richtig ärgerlich. Laut Check-In Report (also Autoabgabe) wurde ein neuer Kratzer festgestellt, den ich angeblich verursacht hätte. Eine Unverschämtheit wenn man die vielen Kratzer, die im Protokoll nachgehalten wurden berücksichtigt. Die kurze Überprüfung bei der Autoannahme war wohl zu oberflächlich. Erwähnenswert ist sicherlich auch, dass ich eine 800 EUR Selbstbeteiligung hatte. Sonst wäre dieser Kratzer wohl auch einfach beim Check-In übersehen worden. Zu allem Überfluss buchte Alamo/Enterprise nun pauschal 1000 EUR von meinem Konto ab. Woher diese Summe kam, ist mir bis heute unbekannt. Mehrfache Kontaktaufnahme (per Email und Telefon) war vergeblich. Auch ein persönlicher Besuch bei der Filiale hatte keine Aufklärung ergeben. Der Filialleiter Herr L. versicherte mir per Handschlag, er kümmere sich um die Dokumentation und würde sich umgehend per Email bei mir melden. Dies ist bis heute nicht passiert. Ich schaltete also meine Bank ein und wiedersprach der 1000 EUR Abbuchung. Erst nach drei Wochen bekam ich dann eine kurze Email und eine Dokumentation, dass die 1000 EUR falscherweise abgebucht wurden und nunmehr nur 800 EUR Selbstbeteiligung abgerechnet wurden. Selbstredend beharrt Alamo darauf, dass ich den Kratzer verursacht hat und hat mir eine ca. *650 EUR Rechnung für den 4 cm Kratzer an einer Tür* geschickt. Achso, und auf die komplette *Rückerstattung der Schneekettenmiete warte ich bis heute* Auf eine Stellungnahme von Alamo/Enterprise über diese höchst kundenunfreundliche Geschäftspraxis warte ich noch immer. In meinen Augen ist dies Betrug und Abzocke von gutmütigen Kunden, die eine Selbstbeteiligung im Vertrag haben. Eine Unverschämtheit!!!! Bucht nicht bei Alamo/Enterprise, der Kundenumgang bei Schwierigkeiten/Beanstandungen ist miserabel und kostet Euch nur Geld und jede Menge Ärger!!! Falls Rückfragen offen bleiben, einfach posten, ich melde mich gerne und liefere auch entspr. Dokumentation falls erwünscht.
Disgusting office, they took a deposit of 600 euros and returned 250. I came to the office specifically to investigate, they said it was insurance. Initially, 300 euros and a 600 euro deposit were paid for a week for an economy class car, of which only 250 were returned, for a total of 650 for the week!? However!!! I bought from neighboring offices and everything was smooth.
I drove carefully and paid exact amount that we agreed from Munich airport, but cant undarstand why here so many negative reviews. As for me, it was fast and good service with renting a car as expected
It was terrible. My flight was seriously delayed and when I got there, even though their work hours should be 23:30 - nobody was there.
Overall VERY BAD experience. NEVER deal with this company! Take care of your nerves and money.
I rented a car with this company and was asked if I was going to pass in another country. I confirmed I was passing in Austria. No information was given that we needed one sticker to be able to travel on Austrian highways. The fine for the lack of this is 120 eur. Very poor customer service, when I went back after delivery I was told maybe the person who spoke with me was tired and didn t remember. Also tryied to call for 20 minutes the office at the airport as well as for another 20 min the road assistance hotline. No answer was given. If I would have something serious I guess I would be alone without any contact available or someone to speak to. Worst car rental I ever experienced. Do not recommend at all.
Very bade company with any issue withe your car
Horrible service. Was told the vehicle was misplaced when delivered and found three days after the fact and was charged for their negligence. No one is picking up the phones. Received different car than I reserved. Car was delivered with quarter tank of gas, dirty and with winter tires, in the the middle of the summer. Strongly recommend do not renting with this company or enterprise in general, they re crooks and not there to help you. I wouldn t even give them one star.
I had a great experience. The car was a lot of fun, and came at a very reasonable price. The staff was very respectful, and there were no hiccups whatsoever.

I loved this place for the second time. I booked a car from it. Brother Ahmed Darwish is a great person to deal with. The second reservation was via a WhatsApp message from me to Brother Ahmed. He arranged the reservation and personally received me and my family from the travelers entrance gate.
Collection and drop off was easy, car was nice, pricing was good. Initially tried to charge me an extra fee for cross-border driving, but I challenged this (as it was specifically cited as included in the booking) and this was waived. I was charged a fee for dropping off a little late and with slightly less than a full tank (I had no time to fully top up as was running quite late due to traffic and almost missed my flight). I felt the charge for the small amount of additional fuel seemed excessive, but that aside the hire experience was otherwise good.
Never ever use there service. I cant even call it a service, its a pure rip off! I have reserved a golf-class car with their website. At the counter, they charged me another 50% on top of original price. In the end when I returned a car with a minor crack (less than an inch) on a windshield, they charged me extra 400 euros for that! Even though I did buy CDW. If you wanna rent a car, never use Alamo or Enterprise, which happens to be their partner in the business of robbing people!
