The car pickup process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free. The staff at the pickup location were exceptionally helpful, especially the young lady who thoroughly explained all the details about the car rental and even went beyond to provide additional useful information. The pickup itself was seamless and quick. Returning the car was just as easy. I simply dropped it off, had it inspected, and within minutes, I received the receipt in my inbox. Overall, a very efficient and pleasant experience!
The administrator and one of the lady in blonde are very rude and not helpful. The wait time is long and when we go to the carpark, there was supposed to be a staff there but there was no one. We also got a damaged car which a huge dent, had to walk all the way back to the counter in the next building and when we go there; instead of walking us down with us to the carpark. We had to walk back to retrieve the document before walking back to exchange. The replacement car we got, car Tyre pressure was low…. Overall, it was an utterly unpleasant experience. Worst Europcar service counter ever. Would give zero star if there is an option for that.
Trash integrity and treatment, over 30 minutes late and counting in delivering the car we ordered. We were explained they don't have cars for any reservation at the moment, and they simply make everyone wait for a ready car to arrive. Over 5 cars are being actively awaited by customers right now. After four months past the rental I get a payment reminder in the mail for a sum of ca 950 euros i have no idea what it is about. No original bill, and no info on reminder itself. I contacted my local europcar, because websites urge to so in case of issues. The finnish rental car customer service sent requests to Germany asking what it is about, but no information passed over to me and finnish personnel received no details of what its about when I called to follow up. After calling now and again to finnish customer service finally 8 months after end of rental i get the document showing what it is about. There was a little scratch on top of bumper, possibly from loading trunk which, was not accounted for from before my rental. They seem maximise any costs for damages as the scrach, which is very light, was estimated at 853,75 euro, which i feel is far beyond reasonable. As a customer I feel scammed, and that at this branch they are likely to scam you for as much money as possible if there is a chance. Also dead slow responces to contacting does not improve experience. As I can not prove its not my scratch, it is useless do deny the damage, but bad review is based on the way this has been handled at europcar's end from the start. First contact on the matter is a payment reminder for a bill which has never reached me. Payment reminders arriving in mail after payment due dates have already passed. Rediculously high damage repair estimate. Not replying finnish colleagues with requested information. No information to me about what a sum of 950 euro refers until after 8 months after rental.
The worst brand i ever use . I book a car in June i take over the car with some damage wich not mention in the check in report ( Which was written in Dutch ) after handover back the car the send me a damage invoice. I share all the evidence that shows damage was very old, but still they want to charge me . The didn’t accept my request ( like you will pay anyway)
Pick up and drop off were painless for a really nice Audi Q3. The agent even told me about the Austrian road toll pass I needed to buy for 10 Euro which I'd not bought would have cost me 400 Euro's in fines. Thank you Europcar.
Extremely helpful, efficient and professional. Even though our requested vehicle was not available, a suitable alternative was found. We could have had major problems because of the amount of luggage we had. However, the rental advisor helped us find a solution and the staff at pick up helped with our cases too.

I would like to specifically thank the agent who went extra step and did find vw golf for me, while the car which was originally set was Hyundai. I did reserved golf at the website. Ich habe ein Mietauto bei der Konkurrenz gemietet. Es gab jedoch einige Probleme, welche dazu gefuehrt haben, dass ich mein Auto nicht in Empfang nehmen konnte. Ich habe mich danach verzweifelt an Europcar an Herr K.C. Bakri gewendet. Er hat mich sehr empathisch beraten und er konnte mir eine Loesung aufzeigen. Sein Ziel war es mir zu helfen und nicht ein Auto zu vermieten. Kundenservice vom Besten. Vielen Dank Herr Bakri ich werde zu Europcar zurueckkehren.

Five years ago, I used Europe car. I was very good now it s worse than ever . the tires were very bad. On the snow, you couldn t drive the car and I know how to drive the car on the snow. The car was hit all over. I think the management only wants the money they don t care about the customers . I don t recommend it. Be careful.

Din nefericire în a treia zi când am inchis portbagajul s-a auzit ceva, i când m-am uitat pe jos era o bucata din stopul dreapta spate care se rupsese din cauza unui defect de fabrica ie. Un punct de sudura mai mare decât trebuia sa fie a presat stopul i s-a spart. Din pacate am primit o factura de 449.98 eur desi este clar defect de fabricatie !!!!!

Prestem atenção quando forem alugar um carro totalmente elétrico. Muito tempo parado para recarregar e pouca autonomia de quilometragem, além das dificuldades de encontrar local de recarga em algumas estradas. Europcar não instrui absolutamente nada.
Great service, price and car was clean and comfortable. Only improvement would be to know if the car we are renting already has an annual vignettes in place so we didnt have to buy one when there was one already there.

Hired a car for skiing in the south of Germany. Staff recommended that I get an automatic , which I did and was very glad of , due to the driving conditions once we arrived . Car had all the driver assists and a sat nav supplied by the navigational gods themselves. The return of the vehicle was easy as well , following signs for car rental drop off and literally just leaving it, once there for the car to be assessed . Had my assessment report before I had even boarded my plane . Overall a really good hire car experience and would not hesitate to use Europcar again for future car hire . The problem was that Europcar did not properly communicate that they charge cross border fees in Europe that could run to as high as Eur50 depending on rental days. This is different from the toll sticker.
I was forced to buy additional insurance cover (200 EUR ++) else they cancel my reservation on the ground of Indian driving license. No where in Europe they gave me such a hard time and charged extra just because I carry a licence from India. I felt I was treated unfairly and 100% racially discriminated. Multiple threatening of cancelling my reservation if I don t pay extra. Staff was extremely rude and took advantage of my situation seeing my two toddler kids and one who was sick (knowing that I needed to drive them to a hospital first). Also knowing that next day was start of Christmas and everything will be closed , I had no option but pay double the cost and take the vehicle. Total loss more than 200 euros extra and I am sure I will never come back to Europcar ever again

Nice pleasent reception, severely damaged car given. With a full tank on return has been charged extra 40 euros for refueling. After long fight and many emails, with proves on my side, was refunded. Be aware of extra 24% additional cost of renting in there with no particular reason. And yes as suggested reply to this review - email sent to them - no reply for a week so far. Waste of time

Careful, please ask in advance if the tank cap is a easy fuel and if so, don t rent the car! It s non working technology that will make it incredibly difficult to refill the car. The sensors on the tank nozzle will always asume it s full and you have to manually hold it in place and the error margin for the sensor is 1mm. Or you buy a canister and fill taht and use that to fill the car. So ask in advance to have a non easy fuel car and safe yourself the trouble!!

Die Mitarbeiter am Europcar-Schalter am Flughafen München, die am Abend des 01.01.25 im Dienst waren, haben sich leider als unprofessionell und wenig kundenorientiert gezeigt. Es besteht dringend Bedarf an einem Reklamationstraining für diese Mitarbeiter, da ihr Verhalten in mehreren Punkten enttäuschend war. Zunächst wurde uns ein Kindersitz doppelt berechnet, obwohl dieser bereits bei der Buchung bezahlt wurde. Obwohl uns Lösungsvorschläge für den Kindersitz gemacht wurden, war es äußerst irritierend, dass mir weder beim ersten Gespräch gesagt wurde, dass ich den Sitz selbst abholen muss, noch dass der angegebene Preis von 110 Euro nicht der tatsächlichen Abrechnung von 87 Euro entsprach. Diese fehlenden oder falschen Informationen führten zu unnötigen Missverständnissen, die der Mitarbeiter Jonas selbst verursacht hat. Besonders frustrierend war, dass Jonas beim zweiten Gespräch sämtliche Missverständnisse abstritt. Statt Verantwortung zu übernehmen, behauptete er, mir alle notwendigen Informationen gegeben und korrekt gehandelt zu haben. Dieses Verhalten war nicht nur unprofessionell, sondern hinterließ den Eindruck, dass er eher daran interessiert war, die Schuld von sich zu weisen, anstatt das Problem kundenfreundlich zu lösen. Zusätzlich fiel die Kollegin von Jonas durch ihr unangemessenes Verhalten auf. Als ich eine ältere Rechnung erneut anforderte, hörte ich sie murmeln: Er kommt wieder . Als ich höflich fragte: Können Sie mir die alte Rechnung nochmal geben? , kommentierte sie schnippisch: Man kann sowas auch freundlicher fragen. Solche Bemerkungen sind respektlos und tragen nicht zu einer angenehmen Kundenkommunikation bei. Einen Stern vergebe ich zusätzlich, da bei der Buchung unsererseits ein Fehler vorlag und wir das Fahrzeug zu spät abholten. In diesem Zusammenhang wurde uns der Aufpreis für ein höherpreisiges Fahrzeug zumindest mit einem Rabatt angeboten. Die 3 Sterne Abzug resultieren jedoch aus der Art und Weise, wie Jonas und seine Kollegin mit dieser Situation umgingen. Statt auf die Problematik einzugehen, wurden Missverständnisse abgestritten, falsche Informationen verteidigt und unangebrachte Kommentare gemacht. Dieses Verhalten lässt stark an der Professionalität des Teams zweifeln.

I rented a Volkswagen T-Roc automatic from Keddy by Europcar through yolcu360.com and paid 3800 (approximately 103 ) for 7 days. Due to weather conditions, my flight was delayed by 2.5 hours, and the crowded passport control further delayed me. When I arrived at the Europcar desk at Munich airport to collect my car, I was told that there was no T-Roc available. The only automatic car they had was an Audi A3 Sedan, and I would need to pay an additional 142 for it. Alternatively, I could take a manual T-Roc. I was shocked. How could my reserved and prepaid car be given to another customer in just 2.5-3 hours? I had already paid to reserve that specific car. The staff was unhelpful and offered no alternative solutions or discounts. Since I was already delayed and needed to proceed quickly, I had no choice but to accept the A3 and pay the additional 142 . This was extremely disappointing, as I have never encountered such a situation with any other rental company. What made it worse was that the additional charge (142 ) was even higher than my original rental price (103 ) for the T-Roc. For what I thought was a 103 rental, I ended up paying a total of 245 . I will not rent from Keddy or Europcar again and cannot recommend them to anyone. This experience was unacceptable.

The vehicle I booked is unable to provide. I need to pay more to upgrade my vehicle. A more serious problem is that half a month later, my credit card was charged for the second time without my authorization. And I email customer service for two days without getting any reply.
I feel like I m being scammed. Everything went ok for the most part, until we returned the car. The employee checking in the car at the Munich Airport noted minor damage we most definitely did not do. He said he had no choice but to mark it and to go talk to the counter. We did, and the Europcar employee was actually great! He looked up the history of the car, found the damage was already listed. He even turned the monitor and showed us the pictures of the known mark/damage of the car. He acknowledged that they were already aware of it and we would not be responsible. I asked for a confirmation, and he assured us he already updated the system and we would not be charged and the issue was resolved. We got a final receipt showing a zero balance a few days later and considered it over. At that point I would still have recommended Europcar because of how great the employee handled the situation in person. BUT- 3 months later we get an invoice for over 700 euros for the minor damage we had already cleared was not us. I have emailed every email offered on the site and am only getting receipt emails saying they may take a while getting back to me. The contact feature on the website does not work, so not only are we being wrongfully charged, we can t get in contact to dispute the charge. That s why it feels like a scam. I m more than happy to update my review if we can get customer support and the situation is handled quickly. I understand mistakes can happen, I just need to be able to resolve it immediately before I would recommend Europcar, or reuse them as we are frequent travelers to Europe. Update: I received the link to contact support, the link does not work. Update 2: it s been a week and no response about my dispute. They bill you, give you a two week deadline, but won t respond to your emails. Update 3: after 3 months (it s been 6 months since we rented the car) of Europcar basically ignoring all my attempts to communicate, they sent me a final bill saying that after reviewing the situation, they will not honor what the employee at the desk worked out with us and we have to pay anyway. Customers beware, rental car companies make the majority of their profits from charging people for small dings etc. they take the money and usually don t even get it fixed. I ll never use Europcar again.

1. The car we reserved wasn t ready when we arrived. Since we didn t know how long we d have to wait, we switched to another car. It was supposed to be there and ready. 2. The car we ended up with was parked so close to the neighboring cars that my husband couldn t open the door. We asked an employee to move the car next to us, but they didn t have the key. My husband had to climb from the back seat to the driver s seat. 3. The car s dashboard was covered in dust. Ugh! The car we originally reserved is so much better and spacious...

I have rented a car from europcar a few times before. They would take care of my transactions in a few minutes and sometimes I could change my car when I wanted. However, this time in Munich Airport the staff took me at least 40-45 minutes and when I wanted to change the car they did not. After this experience I may not prefer europcar for Munich Airport.

Paid for a midsize SUV. They tried to give me a compact car saying it was in the same class and they didn t have the exact car that I paid for. After about 15 minutes of talking to this manager and that, all of a sudden they had a midsize SUV available. Go figure. Make sure you get the car you paid for.

My recent experience with Auto Europe was profoundly disappointing and emphasizes the critical need for customer awareness. I had pre-paid for a car reservation and, through email correspondence, confirmed with Auto Europe that the GPS was unnecessary and removed from my reservation. However, upon my arrival in Munich to collect the car, Europe Car did not honor this agreement. Despite my requests, the manager at Europe Car declined to communicate with Auto Europe to address the matter, and they suggested a potentially significant wait time for the car. This situation was not only deeply disappointing but also raised serious concerns about business practices. It felt like I was being compelled to pay for something I had explicitly requested to exclude. This experience underscores the vital importance of customers being vigilant about their agreements and insisting on complete clarity when finalizing reservations. I sincerely hope that AutoEurope and EuropeCar take this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to prevent such disappointments in the future. PS: and even the link in the reply does not work!!! Update : after I exhausted all available options and posted this review, I got contacted via email by an Auto Europe manager, who admitted it was wrong and refunded the full amount. It was surprising and unexpected.

The check-in kiosk was helpful so you dont have to stand in line. Easy access from the Terminal, the staffs were very helpful and polite. If you are travelling outside of Germany, please enquire with staffs. There might be additional fee if you are taking the rental vehicle outside of Germany and you might have to take vignette based on the country you are travelling too.
Good price, easy pickup. As an Privilege Elite, I should have been eligible for a double class upgrade. However, I was repeatedly tried to be talked into purchasing a 1 class upgrade for almost double the rental cost so obviously upgrades were available. Ill be going back to Sixt as they tend to treat elite members much better
While the staff was courteous, we arrived to find the waiting area filled with customers awaiting their cars. This is the only car rental company that I have witnessed a running electronic waiting list . Despite six staff members, there are seven people still awaiting their cars.
Went to pickup car and wanted an additional $800 dollars. Said they did not have a reservation reference number---I HAD ONE ONE HAND. Let the battle began. I want my money refunded and I will never rent through that place again. Not everyone can or wants to lose $681. Please make this right !!!!!!!!
To be honest: Dear All Today we had the worse experience ever which is absolutely unacceptable. We booked a Kodiak Car Vehicle and ended up in getting an MG with 78.000km which was dirty and not maintained. When we complaint we were told that we get a Q3, however we outlined that our luggage is not fitting. In this case they down graded us and gave us a Golf Avant. I requested to get reimbursed and the Manager of the Station Mrs W rejected the request. This entire process took 2 hours and I was asked to contact you as she said that she cannot assist. We requested just the car advertised and got far less - not even a proper handling of the situation of the manager. Bad bad bad service and we will never book Europcar again. Biggest scam ever!

I received the car after going back and forth in order to pay the comprehensive insurance without bearing, and basically I reserved the car without bearing the costs and received the car under the guidance of the rental office. I am delivering the car at Munich Airport. It is very problematic. The problem of delay in receipt is waiting for the employee to receive the car even though I arrived before the specified time for delivery.

Nach langer Reise wurde ich von einer äußerst netten Mitarbeiterin empfangen, welche die Mietwagenanmietiung nach Singen schnell, kompetent und dazu mit einem sehr fröhlichen Karakter abgewickelt hat. Europecar München charged for filliing up a full tank of fuel at returnpoint in airport. I filled the tank top-up-full just before the airport, end lefte the recite to the service attendent on the return point. What happende: At the returnpoint of all the rental companies, the service attendent was behaving ruedly. No welcome or Did you have a safe trip?. He said the tank was full, but in his written report he wrote 7/8 full and billed 23 EUR. He took a photo of the dashboard from an angle, instead of in front, to prove lack of fuel. Europecar accepted my complaints end returned a new invoice, without any excuse or explanation. In my opinion this was a fraud, where service attendents can make money by billing without filling fuel.

Our overall experience with Europcar in Munich was extremely good. However, we had a lot of trouble finding the Europcar office in Munich airport. The airport is inherently confusing for new, first time arrivals and the signage in general is not ideal. We ended up having to ask a number of employees in shops in the airport where the Europcar office was before we could find it. In addition, clearer instructions, maybe with a map included, should be given for where the cars need to be returned. Other than this, we are very happy with our car hire and thank Europcar for providing such a reliable and affordable experience.

Opgelet bij upgrades van het voertuig, hier voor moeten bijbetalen omdat het gevraagde voertuig niet beschikbaar is, is not done. Opgelet ook bij opgemeten schade, vergewis er u van dat deze compleet werd genoteerd anders noteert men u deze aan. Eveneens not done maar onvermijdelijk omdat men eerst het ontvangstdocument moet tekenen alvorens de sleutel te krijgen en het voertuig te zien. Anders wel vriendelijke en snelle bediening voor zowel ophalen en afzetten. Nog nooit problemen gehad met Europcar in Portugal en nu voor het eerst in Duitsland. Ik blijf Europcar hiervoor trouw.

Hired a mini bus for business, the mini bus was fine but I spent 30 minutes trying to find the rental car as very poorly signposted. Sixth are the furthest walk away from the main exit and poorly signposted. The car park number was scruffily written and looked 206 and then found it was 204 but the mini bus was not in this area it was on floor one parking spots 10X. Lots of other people lost and no one answers when you call for assistance on the help phones.

Lenni was extremely helpful and very professional. He helped us change dates, get the right car and answer all the questions we had. Our experience with Europcar was five stars. When we had little trouble with the car, the customer service line responded right away and resolved our issue promptly.

Quiero compartir mi mala experiencia con Europcar y Check24 para que no le suceda a nadie más. Renté un coche a través de Check24 para recogerlo en Munich, Alemania y entregarlo en Klagenfurt, Austria, yo como turista no estoy enterada acerca de lo que se debe pagar, y considero que es deber de la agencia informarnos, lo cual no sucedió. Solicité un conductor extra y al recoger el coche nos pidieron una licencia internacional, no la teníamos, así que el agente de Europcar canceló el conductor extra, cuando me hicieron el cargo a mi tarjeta de crédito, si me lo cobraron. Reclame a Check24, les envié todos los documentos y al final me dijeron que Europcar no me pagaría nada de regreso. Luego recibí una multa por 120 , la cual tuve que pagar y de nuevo reclame a Check24, y a la fecha no me han dado respuesta, porque de nuevo, al recoger el coche o reservarlo nos deberían de informar como turistas que es lo que se debe pagar, y/o en su caso ellos equipar el coche con todo lo necesario ya que les informé que necesitaba cruzar una frontera. Después me llega otra factura por 30 euros que Europcar me cobra bajo el concepto de que tuvieron que compartir mi nombre y dirección con la institución que cobra la multa, y solo por usar un minuto de su tiempo y compartir esta información me cobran ese monto. Envié correos y nadie respondió. Llamé a su call center y la chica ahí pues no puede hacer nada. Honestamente me parece muy injusto el que no nos compartan como usuarios/clientes toda la información para evitar alguna multa y segundo el servicio al solucionar cualquier situación que se presente es inservible o inútil, y me parece un robo lo que cobran por esto. En mi personal experiencia NO recomiendo rentar autos ni con Europcar, ni a través de Check24. Por su atención, Gracias. 19 Noviembre 2024. Actualización: El link que dan en la respuesta no funciona, no han revisado nada, aparte ahora me están cobrando otros 60 que porque no avisé que iba a cruzar una frontera, desde el momento 1 (uno) que renté el coche con check24 y Europcar seleccioné recoger en un lugar y entregar en otro y me costó de hecho mucho más caro por ese concepto, alrededor de 300 más, es increíble el pésimo servicio que ofrecen estos dos negocios y aparte como se atreven a molestarme de nuevo bajo este concepto, por supuesto no pagaré esos otros 60 y espero que ahora sí, al menos, ya que no me hicieron ninguna devolución, me dejen de molestar. 21 Noviembre 2024. Actualización: Éste es el último email que escribí para Europcar y Check24: Besides the payment of the rented car which included the price of collecting the car in Munich Airport, Germany and giving it back in Klagenfurt Airport, Austria, I paid 120 to ASFINAG because you did not put the vignette on the car, then I paid another 30 to Europcar because Europcar needed to give my address and for this job they charged that amount, and now I just paid this other 60 to Europcar because you say that I did not informed that I was crossing a border, which again, is not true, because YES, I DID Informed to Check24 at the moment of the booking and to Europcar at the moment of the collection, plus it is written in the original invoice. If the agent at the counter in Munich Airport should charged me something extra under this concept at the moment of the collection, HE did not do it and that is not my fault, I m the client, How am I supposed to know all your rules. I wan to present a complaint, because since July that I rented the car this has been for months a horrible experience and I will never ever rent a car with any of your companies. A lady helped us and even if she was a new beginner, she tried to do everything correct and good by taking help from experienced officers at times it was needed. Das war eine super professionelle Abwicklung. Es war wirklich alle super. Ich durfte auch das erste Mal ein E-Auto fahren und war positiv überrascht von den Fahreigenschaften
Buchung war falsch angelegt, die Damen dort versuchten zu helfen, was mit Hilfe auch nach etwas warten und telefonieren wieder gut ausging. Dafür gibt es auch +6 Aber die unhöflichkeit der dunkelhaarigen Männer von Europcar, war unter aller Sau. Wie diese männlichen Mitarbeiter, mit der Kollegin umgegangen sind, ist ein nogo. Der eine männliche Kollege fauchte mich auf englisch an ( was nicht unbedingt die Sprache ist, die ich verstehe) und wies auf das Display. Der andere dunkelhaarige Kollege fauchte dann seine neue Kollegin auf der Frage, ob er ihr helfen könnte, mit einer Überheblichkeit an ( dann sollen die doch mit ihrer Firma telefonieren ) an. Das Unternehmen, in dem ich tätig bin, ist dort Dauerkunde und da sollte es doch möglich sein, dass die Kollegen mit mehr Erfahrung doch etwas mehr Unterstützung bekommen sollten. Da ist deutlich eine Schulung notwendig. weiblichen Mitarbeiter +6 männliche Mitarbeiter -5 (Mein Typ, weil ich auch Personal führe...Nachschulung und wenn das nicht funktioniert...raus aus dem Unternehmen...)

Avoid at all costs. I booked 3 identical cars for $214.14 US. The line was extremely long and it took an hour to get to the counter. Now I knew this did not include insurance so I called the 800 number to confirm and they said insurance was $13.07 a day and we needed it for 8 days so the total should have been $318.73. Once we finally got to the counter they said the three cars we reserved were not available but they could give us 3 cars for $883.39, $789.04, and $573.24. They more than doubled the cost and took a $956.19 reservation to $2,245.67. Even worse I had cancelled a reservation with Avis for the 4 smaller cars For $1,100 becuase Avis didnt have station wagons available and I would rather have 3 cars than 4. I should have just stayed with Avis. We kept showing them we made a reservation but they said the cars did not come back we had reserved, we could take those 3 or find another company. We had come off a 10 hour flight, customs, and now and hour long ride and my wife just wanted to leave and looking online other companies were charging $700 a car for last minute reservations so my wife said just take the car and we will deal with it when we get home. All around a terrible experience and a blatant robbing of tourists so my recommendation for all Americans is to stick to the US companies like Avis and Budget who will not take advantage of you.

Easy and quick to get your car. Just do not forget to register at one of the 2 terminals in front of the desks (you do not have to worry where to queue!)
The check in process is very slow and the check in staff are indifferent to customers. The cars are parked very far from the rental desk and signage is confusing. The parking area is very dark at night making it very difficult to detect small damages (I suggest bringing a flashlight). But when you drop the car back off you have to drive through an automated photo booth that is lit up as bright as the sun.
Avoid, one and half hour to pick up the car. They charged me twice for full coverage insurance, and they are not responding to my emails.

We hired a car from Europcar in Munich at the Airport and it was a care free experience. I think what added to the experience was that we had full comprehensive insurance and so a detailed inspection of the vehicle was not necessary. The collection and drop off was smooth and quick and the car was in great conditon almost like new.

They charged me three times. The first time for booking online. The second time at the office for the deposit, the child seat and to increase the insurance value. The third time they repeated the amount for the child seat and increased the insurance value, one day after returning the car. They took the third amount without any right and it is not in the receipt. I have used Europcar several times. I have filled out the request for a rental car online. I selected the type of car that I wanted along with level of auto insurance and the past several times the person at the desk is a fast talker that always cons me into a larger more expensive vehicle and the highest level of insurance coverage. Next time I rent a car from them I want what I ordered and dont want to pay all these upcharge fees.
If you guys choose Europcar, have a wonderful trip with cost, nice car, perfect service. This place is awesome. I am regretting dont remember any crews name, but everybody was nice.
Everything went well except the windscreen washer fluid was empty on pickup and the screen very greasy making driving in the rain dangerous. Allow plenty of time if picking up at Munich airport, could take an hour.

I went there to hire a car The rent was higher 114+ per day and rented for two days i returned the car on time cleaner than it was and full of benzin, no damage to it! Excelente experiencia
The wait time at Europcar was extremely long, even on a weekday. While other companies like Sixt were better staffed and had noticeably shorter lines, Europcar only had two employees assisting customers, causing the line to grow steadily longer. It took me over an hour to get through, and when I finally left, the line had nearly doubled, likely leading to a two-hour wait for others. For me, this kind of delay is a deal breaker. While the car itself was fine overall, I later discovered several issues. The roof shade didn t work, CarPlay kept disconnecting, and the adaptive cruise control, which I needed for my cross-country drive, wasn t functional. These issues should be clearly communicated upfront.
So, I rent from these guys all the time. And I will continue renting. The challenge here is that their staff is hard core at up selling, and their prices are ridiculous if you dont book in advance. Some of their staff will give you wrong information thinking you are American and dont know vignettes or toll roads in the EU. Its almost like a sport to try to get you to spend more money than what you need. I get this is a business to but lay off the hard selling, at least for you high volume renters like me. Cars are for the most part ok. Just be aware. Take pictures. The same applies for the return. They are overzealous on the so called damages.

I have a very bad experience with euro car company and they make my short holiday horrible since they gave me very bad car and next day car became broken and when I contact with them they send me person to fix the car and he toke around 6 hours to com and check the car and after checking he informed me that i have to call the company to change the car which is mean one more day wested from my short holiday, Then i have contact with company and i went there again they gave me very dirty car and aftel all if this i spend around 200 eur for taxi So as per my experience i am not recommend this company for any one

Representative was polite, very helpful, quick in handling the preparation of documents so I was able to leave with key in less than 15 minutes.
The process was smooth and I didnt have any problems. The place to return the car was on the third basement floor and the passageway was quite narrow, so I had a hard time getting there.
Europcar is my first choice always every where in all my travels, I want thanks the staff in the counter. When I received the car on the parking there was a warning message related to the gearbox, I called Europcar staff who is working in parking and the change the car immediately big thanks for them.
