The first time we rented the bicycles, everything went very well, and I was very satisfied. However, the second time was different. After we returned the bicycles, they checked everything and confirmed that it was all fine. But a few days later, they contacted us, claiming that we had broken some parts and demanded that we pay for the repairs. They charged absurd amounts for the damages, which was certainly just an excuse to take more money. I am certain that I didn't fall off the bike or hit it against anything. I was really upset with this situation, so I will never book bicycles with them again.
Our tour with Vasco was definitely one of the highlights of our holidays in Portugal. The value we got for the price with paid was insane, from the top-spec bikes (Orbea RISE H15!!!) to the guidance and nice attitude of Vasco, who knows every single trail in the area by heart … I would do it again without any doubt. Vasco adapted the ride to our technical level, which made the experience a pure pleasure, without having to worry about anything. Thanks a ton for the best 4h of our vacations.
We did not do a tour with Irondeer, we just rented bikes. The bikes were in great shape! Vasco was amazingly helpful with telling us where to find a good ride. We followed his Strava route and it was sensational. We road on all kinds of terrain, through vineyards, past churches, a monastery and more. Also his rental prices were very good! When he saw that I returned with a bloody knee (rider error) he was kind and helped me to clean it up. Thank you
Absolutely the best MTB experience anyone could ever ask for! And that’s coming from someone who’ve traveled to plenty of MTB locations across the world. Vasco provides you with TOP notch bikes in excellent conditions, and even takes the time to share the best trails to go for, without having booked a full on tour. Really impressed with the service and quality, and can without a doubt call it one of the best rentals I’ve ever had the pleasure to try.
My wife and I had a wonderful time today! Normally, I like to do MTB tours on my own, but the price difference between rental and a tour was so little that we took the tour. (Also, I didn't bring my gps) Vasco took us to trails, places, and viewpoints I would never find by myself. A day full of adventure and great sightseeing. The bikes were top-notch quality and brand new, which made the trail much easier. Would definitely recommend it. Next time, we will come back for the other tours! Thank you!

Vasco was a delight. Having never spend any time on an E-bike, he took the time to explain to me the differences and encouraged me to test ride a couple of bikes. This was going to be my only shot in Nazare so I asked him for suggestions on routes. He gave me a great main route with three different excursions I could take if I had the inclination, which I did. The route was going south along the coast, up on the ridge with excursions down to the sea. It also took me into the quaint town Sao Martinho do Porto. Vasco works out of his home but has a very nice setup in his garage with an office off to the side. He gave me me a helmet, chain lock, gloves, water and a pat on the back! The bike was excellent. I'm sold! His English is very good. I ended up doing 32 miles and told my wife, "It was GLORIOUS!" In my experience, you can't go wrong. Bill Branham, Detroit.
We had the best time going on an e-bike tour with Vasco! He is an experienced cyclist who knows the area very well. The bikes are extremely high quality, and built to endure mountain biking trails, but he can tailor your adventure to mountain biking or street riding. There were three of us, and two were not comfortable riding on difficult trails, so we did mostly streets with a few simple trails. We saw so much that we wouldn’t have otherwise! Dinosaur tracks, a hangliding takeoff point, small towns in the hills, the piers south of Nazaré, and views of Nazare from the other side. We also got to stop and enjoy some coffee and pastries. Some of the views were obscured because it was a foggy day (this is why I included fewer pictures), but we still had an amazing time. We highly recommend it. The pedal assist makes it pretty simple - the hills would be insane without it! This was easily one of the highlights of our visit to Nazaré.

Today I booked a ride at Irondeer E-Bike Tours. Even if it the forecast said havy rain we startet the Tour and it was great. We drove through muddy roads but the bikes worked perfectly. Tires gave good grip and we had nice views during the ride. My giude Vasco took good care and the tour was aligned to my skills. I can highly recommend that company. High quality bikes in perfect conditions and great giude with many different roads in his portfolio.

Superschöne Tour entlang der Atlantikküste. Toller und aufmerksamer Guide, sehr sympathisch, konnte uns vieles zeigen und erklären. Bikes in tadellosem Zustand. Würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Rented a orbea MTB during my holiday. Bike was in perfect condition (rode 230km mtb and gravel that week) and was a very good carbon MTB. Vasco is a supernice guy with great service. He even picked my up to change a flat in the evening when i was not to far from his place. Very easy to meet up with him for the bike. Gave my some nice tips for my tours also. All for a fair price . More than 5 stars. Would do i again for sure.

Vasco and his team are fantastic. They know the Nazaré area very well and can show you all the wonderful places. Their e-bikes are top of the line and super comfortable and well maintained. Highly recommend his tours and bikes.
These bikes are brand new and quite nice. Vasco knows his way around Nazaré areas.
Vascos tours will take you to the cool little beach towns north and south of Nazare. He has all of the latest safety gear and his mountain bikes are electric so you can ride all day and see up to 50km of the coasts and forests near Nazare. All of his bikes are brand new with full suspension and top of the line XT components. Highly recommend!!
Was an amazing tour through Nazare. We were at the North beach. Views are stunning, vehicles are awesome! Def highly recommended!!!
It was such a great trip by bike. The trip was very exciting and unusual. Vasco showed many amazing views. I should also mention bicycles. Theyre just great. Bikes are new and modern (Turbo mode is my favorite )! I really recommend it and will come back!

I think it was my best e-bike experience that I will never forget. Its not only about e-bike, but about this nature beauty, great places and ability to travel fast and look around at the nature. 4 hours of pedaling. For the first time under me was such a beast worth several thousand euros. It has an electric motor that SLIGHTLY helps. Dont think its a moped or anything... Its still a bike with gear shifting and uphill struggle. My legs and butt are very sore and will hurt for a few more days. If I had known the route in advance, I probably would have chickened out. There was also an instructor in the group and a person who took Iron Man 5 years ago, and I am a pot-bellied gamer sitting at the computer 8 hours a day. I didn t fall down anywhere, I didn t cry anywhere, I ate blackberries, climbed incredible peaks and saw views that are inaccessible to hikers or cars. I am very pleased that such an opportunity turned up (it turned out in the style of always say yes). Insane cool photos add to this story but thats personal

Found Irondeer online while looking for an e-bike rental around Foz do Arelho / Nazaré to rent on the same day. We went by the place and were immediately welcomed and helped. We could rent high-quality e-mountainbikes, as well as helmets and gloves. We were also given very good tips on where to go for a ride accustomed to our needs. Overall, we had a great experience both with the owner himself as with the bikes and the bike ride. Would definitely recommend!
Vasco Set us up on some fantastic mountain E Bikes and gave us maps of routes to take with best lookouts and places to visit. I would highly recommend Irondeer E-Bike tours and rental. Can t say enough about our fantastic day biking around Nazare. We are 2 couples from Canada. Vladislav was an excellent owner and resource; the e-bikes we rented were of high quality, he was safety focused and supplied helmets, gloves, lock and a pump, and he set us off on the most amazing trail ride up the coast to the beach village of Vale Furada. Upon our return we cooled down over a bottle of excellent Chardonnay he provided us! Highly recommend you use Iron Deer e-bike rentals.
