Reasonably priced and everything that you would expect from a bicycle hire. However what really stood out was the fantastic customer service. Aside from being very friendly and having excellent English, the proprietor spent ages showing us all the best places to visit, drawing instructions on a map and sharing pictures on WhatsApp to illustrate routes. Highly recommended.

Great owner, very responsive. We bicycled from Olhao to Tavira (~40KM bicycle ride) when the chain on the bicycle snapped. The owner delivered a replacement bicycle to the break-down location in less than 30 minutes. Pit-stop style. We continued our day like nothing happened... respect to that, such fast response!

The owner is one of the nicest people I have met! My family and I rented bikes from this gentleman and he was very helpful and showed us great places to explore. We even had bike troubles and he showed up within minutes to replace our bike. He is very passionate about his business and makes you feel like you have been friends your whole life. Highly recommended, the lady provided very helpful advise for our first try out of the Algarve cycling tour between Olhao and VR San Antonio. We were very happy with the recommended mountain bikes, and the extra side bags, as the route can be a bit adventurous in some areas, and enjoyed every bit of the experience, even in mid January ! We booked in advance, and received very reactive answers to all our questions. Many thanks again!
We rented two cycles for ten days from seahorse Bike Rental the beginning of February 2018. They was very polite and travelled a long way to deliver the bikes for a small cost.They could not do enough to help us suggesting routes for us to take. Along with the bikes came 2 helmets 2 locks and a pump. They also do guided tours. The man is very enthusiastic about cycling and he is a pleasure to talk too. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
Great service. Great advice. All at a good price too. We spent a wonderful 3 hours on the bikes cycling round the Rio Formosa natural park with flamingos and a bird hospital and a tidal mill. The route was recommend and much enjoyed. Thank you and see you again!

Fahrräder vom Schrott und für den Schrott. In verschiedenen Stadien der Vernachlässigung. Der Typ am Stand wurde nach kurzer Zeit pampig und unsachlich. Finger weg!

I used Seahorse while in Olhao, ver helpful and supplied helmet,locks, map. It got too hot for me cycling and when I rang for pick up assistance was collected within half hr. Would recommend if cycling in Olhao.

We rented 2 bikes for the afternoon, the owner is very nice and friendly. He gave us a map and explained well the route to the natural park, with great tips on beautiful viewpoints!
Highly recommend. We cycled from Olhão to Tavira through the Ria Formosa. The owner is very friendly and gave us helpful advice, maps and directions and recommended we take mountain bikes which was definitely the right choice for the terrain outside Olhão. Very reasonable prices too and flexible with timings.

La rando 15 km ria Formosa est une visite commentée du site protégé et non une ballade insolite sur les rives de la Ria 25 euros pour cette activité cest un un peu cher Les vélos doivent être plus entretenus pour lhistoire jai perdu à 2 reprises la manivelle du VTT mis à disposition

Very knowledged on local area and some good places to cycle. Lovely guy, ended up with flat tyre and he did what he said turned up in 15 minutes with new tyre and dropped us off in van. Really appreciated thank you

Dario went extra mile (literally) to get me best possible bike from his other storage, he gave me plenty of tips what to visit, how to cycle around Algrave and he just wanted to make sure I have best possible experience. I rented a bike for 4 days, cycling about 30-40km each day, no issues whatsoever, very reasonable prices. Thank you

Tout est parfait mais attendez la fin de la construction des pistes cyclables dans le coin. Pas possible daller à Faro ou à Fuzeta par piste cyclable actuellement.
I would recommend nobody to rent over here , you get mountainbikes without working brakes. We rented bikes, the brakes didnt work , we had 2 repairs and the issues were still not resolved. No refund or excuses were given. He admitted he did not check the bikes every week because he didnt have time to do this.

Der Fahrradverleih ist leicht zu finden und sehr unkompliziert im Verleih. Wir entschieden uns für die Mountainbikes. Die Dame war sehr nett und hat uns tolle Tipps für Touren in den Nationalpark Ria Formosa und nach Tavira gegeben (inklusive Karte und top Wegbeschreibung). Auch die Rückgabe war total unkompliziert, obwohl wir früher da waren als verabredet. Zusammenfassend war alles super: Die Mitarbeiterin war hilfsbereit, die Fahrräder waren gut in Schuss sowie zuverlässig und Helm / Schloss waren inklusive. Das alles zu einem absolut fairen Preis! Wir würden SeaHorse Bike Rental immer weiterempfehlen!!!
Si vous séjournez à Olhao, ne passez pas à côté de la découverte de la Ria Formosa en vélo. Et pour se faire, il faut impérativement louer votre vélo chez SeaHorse bike rental. Lentrée en communication avec leur équipe est très simple et facile, ils parlent anglais, français, portugais etc.... Le choix de vélos est vaste : VTT homme, VTT femme, VTT junior 20 ou 24 pouces... les vélos sont relativement légers et de bonne qualité. une fois sortis dOlhao par la N125, direction vers la piste ECOVIA qui vous mène vers Tavira et plus loin, dans paysages paradisiaques, au milieu des oiseaux. La balade est somptueuse, et le train vous permet de rentrer rapidement vers Olhao.

Twee normale fietsen gehuurd! Goede uitleg gehad over de route naar Fuseta strand. Aanrader! Volgende keer kiezen we wel voor een elektrische fiets haha

SeaHorse rentals were fabulous and I would recommend them. The lady was very friendly and helpful. They had maps and suggestions where to go for different abilities. They had various sizes of bikes appropriate for my 6 and 8 year old. A good price and a great day out with family. Id recommend to book in busy season.

We rented two bikes at the beginning of February and were totally satisfied. Good bikes and very friendly people who gave us valuable information for our tour. Price was okay too.
Nous avons loué 4 vélos sur 4 jours dont 2 en 29 qui étaient bien adaptés aux grands gabarits. Matériel en bon état - bien vérifier frein, dérailleur et pression avant de partir tout de même. Casque et antivol mis à disposition. Si vous restez en groupe un seul antivol permet de bloquer 4 vélos sans problème et comme cest lourd pas la peine den prendre un chacun. Accueil très agréable et conditions arrangeantes pour le client (changement de type de vélo, horaires de réception et de dépose). De bons conseils pour faire la balade de Olhao à Fuseta par la cote. Pour la balade vers le Moncarapacho , une fois en montagne, ces vélos semi-rigides sont un peu limite mais en mode ballade cela reste ok. Attention sur les parcours en route ...les voitures passent près même quand la voie est libre en face... Dans larrière pays cest un peu la découverte car les nouvelles constructions modifient les tracés des chemins..donc prévoir plus de temps que pour un tracé sans surprise. Et attention aux chiens qui gardent ces maisons..ils ne sont pas toujours enfermés et cela donne beaucoup dénergie pour pédaler vite par moment ;-)) En résumé, une bonne manière de se faire plaisir en famille sans se ruiner et en sécurité si on va rapidement sur les chemins. Materiel adapté
wir hatten uns für unseren Urlaub in marim zwei Räder für eine Woche geliehen. die Dame vom Verleih war sehr nett und hat uns erklärt wo wir überall lang fahren können. die Kommunikation lief sehr schnell und reibungslos, die Räder waren in gutem Zustand und es gab sogar einen Notfall reparierservice der uns überall auf Abruf zu Hilfe gekommen wäre, den wir aber glücklicherweise nicht gebraucht haben! leider kommt man von ohlao selber nicht gut auf Radwegen in die Nachbar Orte, kann aber wenn man ein paar Kilometer an der Straße fährt flott nach marim kommen. die Straßen haben immer einen sehr breiten Seitenstreifen auf dem es sich gut fährt und wo es niemanden stört. ab marim und in die andere Richtung wohl auch ab Faro, gar es einen sehr schönen Radweg durch die Salinen, den wir mehrmals gefahren sind. das alles würde uns vor Ort ausführlich erklärt und wir hatten das Gefühl uns auf seahorse bike rental gut verlassen zu können! gerne wieder !
