Desde el primer momento respondieron rápido a nuestras preguntas por WhatsApp antes de reservar. Una vez allí nos recogieron en el aeropuerto teniendo la amabilidad de hacerlo antes de lo previsto (llegamos antes) y el local lo tienen a 3 minutos en coche. Alquilamos un Fabia con seguro completo (no neumáticos ni llantas) que no contempla fianza, lo que es de agredecer viendo la competencia. Lo único negativo es que los limpiaparabrisas rozaban mucho con el cristal haciendo un sonido molesto. Repetiríamos.

Am avut închiriat un vehicul de categorie mic , un hatchback. Mi s-a dat un Renault Clio, pachet RS interior-exterior. Nu am avut probleme de nici-un fel. in s precizez ca personalul a fost foarte amabil. În momentul în care avionul aterizeaz , personalul î i d un mesaj s te anun e ca o s vin s te ia cu un van dinafar aeroportului. Practic, te transport de la aeroport c tre locul unde ace tia au sediul. Un lucru de apreciat este ca nu î i opresc o sum de bani ca i garan ie . Pot spune ca acesta întreprindere de rent-a-car fac profit DOAR din ceea ce ar trebui sa fac profit. Unele firme fac bani profitând de persoanele care las garan ie, ori care las un card de credit. Recomand cu mare încredere mai ales ca pe mine m-a costat un pre foarte bun. Vehiculul m-a costat 190 pentru 6 zile, cu asigurare 0 risc. Asigurarea 0 risc vizeaz aproape tot autovehiculul, mai pu in pneu-rile i jantele.

Best car rental company we had in the Azores. Very friendly, fast shuttle transport from airport, (tidy) car pick-up and return was very uncomplicated and done within few minutes.

They are very friendly, yet they wouldnt wait for us at night when our plane was delayed, even though we warned them beforehand. On the second day they made us change our car because of a technical problem, then they wanted us to change twice in a week. Only after much argument did they agree to only change the car once. I wouldnt rent from them again. Note that they dont actually have offices in the airport, even though the map shows them there. Theyre not far away and the transport is quick.

Muy buena experiencia. Hicimos la reserva con riesgo cero y la verdad que tuvimos mucha tranquilidad durante el viaje ya que cualquier roce quedaba cubierto. Cuando recogimos el coche nos ofrecieron un seguro de llantas por 10 al día. Teniendo en cuenta las aceras de piedra decidimos cogerlo para quedarnos más tranquilos. No hubo que dejar depósito ni pagar con tarjeta de crédito, podía pagarse con tarjeta de debito. El personal fue muy amable y nos aclaró todas las dudas. Hay que tener en cuenta que esta empresa no tiene oficina de recogida en el aeropuerto por lo que hay que llamar cuando llegues para que te lleven recojan en el aeropuerto y te lleven a su oficina (a 3 minutos del aeropuerto) para tramitar el alquiler. Ese servicio es gratuito, lo mismo que cuando entregas el coche. Sin duda, una rent a car que no te da quebraderos de cabeza

Do-not- you-worry-company . Everything was so easy. They what s upped me when I landed to give simple instructions for a transfer. Transfer was very quick, formalities likewise. No deposit needed.Our Twingo was clean and in a proper condition. Returning of the car was also no problematic even though it was very early in the morning. On top of that they are very price competetive especially in a high season. We will come back to Arruda

I rented a car (Opel Corsa) from Arruda on San Miguel Island. The booking process was very simple, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Weve got a transport from the airport to the office and the paperwork was very quickly. The vehicle was in a good condition and clean. Starting with the good side, they staff were very efficient, friendly and the car I got was excellent. I would defiantly recommend using them. The company is based outside of the airport so they do a quite shuttle from the terminal. The instruction I had in the email was wrong so I had to call them in order to understand where do need to go. Thats a bit of a shame because it should be really simple to give the correct instruction. It gave me a bit of bad first impression which did not represent the rest of my experience with the them.

One of the easiest and smoothest car rentals I have ever done. The Arruda team was great and will bring you on the short drive from airport to the office (2-3 minutes). We rented a Twingo which was perfect for Sao Miguel and had great gas milage. Easy and dropoff and they will bring you to your terminal for your flight out :) 10/10 recommend!

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE NIGHTMARE Pros: -high quality vehicle Cons: - terrible roadside assistance - disrespectful employees. Antagonistic. Swore at me.Tried to intimidate me (one proudly said the boss hired me because I am a monster ) - employees left me alone at the roadside without explanation - long wait times. Problem took all day to resolve. -poor communication. Only provided updates when I asked. Limited English. - zero risk insurance is a scam. Most situations you would want the insurance for will qualify as negligence. Lots of loopholes for them to claim policy is void. I lost $1300+ in this experience because my car got stuck in a ditch. Other complaints: -no signage at airport pickup location -person picking me up was late

We rented a car in Sao Miguel for four days. The whole experience from booking, questions before, getting the car and dropping it off was perfect. Communication was excellent. The car was clean and worked well. We had no issues at all and highly recommend Arruda. It was the first time I traveled to a foreign country, and I was quite nervous. They made the whole experience stress free for me. I will definitely use them again.

We found the car directly on the Arruda Rent a Car website and then booked it by email. Except for a small problem with the card payment, everything went smoothly and André Amaral was very helpful. After our arrival, he waited for us at the agreed place right next to the airport, loaded our luggage and took us to the car. We got a better car than we booked. The car was almost new, clean, and later we found out that it was economical in terms of gasoline consumption. The handover itself was very quick and with Zero Risk insurance we drove really carefree. At the same time, we also received a lot of valuable advices and information about the island. In a week on the island, we drove approx. 650 km without any problems for one refueling. Returning the car was again very quick and we were at the airport in a minute. I would like to thank the car rental company Arruda Rent a Car for the 100% quality of their services and the sales representative for their exceptional willingness and helpfulness. Highly suggest Arruda. They were very good and kept open communication with us. Arrived less than 5 mins after calling for pick up. Great experience renting the car. Drop off only took a few mins and they drove us right to the terminal. I would suggest getting all of the insurances (damage & tires) just for peace of mind and because some of the roads can be pretty bumpy.

Alquilamos una furgoneta para 7 amigos y fue una muy buena experiencia. Nos dieron la furgoneta en muy buen estado y no hemos tenido ningún problema. Te recogen y te llevan hasta el aeropuerto una vez dejas el coche y con un servicio de 10.

Estivemos no início de abril em Ponta Delgada, alugamos um carro através da Arruda e tudo correu sem percalços. Preços acessíveis, pessoal simpático e carro sem problemas. Chegamos à noite de avião e mesmo assim foi alguém da Arruda recolher-nos ao aeroporto, à entrega do carro deixaram-nos também no aeroporto. Se é a vossa primeira vez em Ponta Delgada, fica a dica: evitem carros grandes. Várias ruas e estradas não são simpáticas para carros de grande porte ou compridos.

Experiencia moi boa por un moi bo prezo. Recolléronnos en furgoneta no aparcamento do aeroporto e leváronnos á nave onde teñen os coches, e en menos de media hora xa tiñamos o coche. Para a devolución, o mesmo. Servizo a todo risco sinxelo, sen franquicia e sen complementos que incrementan o prezo. Repetiriamos.

La atención por parte de André fue una maravilla, muy agradable y atento. Tienen opción de seguro a todo riesgo sin franquicia que está muy bien. Alquilamos para 6 dias un corsa y el primero que nos entregaron a pesar de estar limpio estaba sin pastillas, sin presión de aire en las ruedas y con la luna delantera muy sucia interiormente. El segundo día a primera hora nos dejaron otro provisional de otra empresa, pues ellos tenían todo alquilado, al cual también le hacían mucho ruido los frenos. Por la noche nos llamaron para darnos otro porque el primero tuvo que quedarse en el taller. Aparentemente este estaba perfecto pero al ponerse a llover descubrimos que tenía los limpiaparabrisas muy deteriorados, el del lado de conductor dejaba muy poca visión. Una pena que fuese así, ya que por la atención de André no podemos quejarnos. Entiendo que fue un momento de saturación y no es así habitualmente. Muchas gracias por tu trato André.

Recomend 10/10. Picked us up at the airport, the car was ready to go in 2 minutes, on the last day also the car was delivered in a matter of seconds. Serviço mais que 5 estrelas. Descobri esta rent-a-car ao acaso e fiquei muito satisfeito. Funcionários muito atenciosos e prestáveis. Mal aterrei ligaram-me para me indicar o locar da tranfer. Fomos até às suas instalações, que são a menos de 5 minutos do aeroporto, para levar o carro e disfrutar. Para entregar o carro, desloquei-me às da rent-a-car e depois levaram-me ao aeroporto.

I have been stole of my whole deposit !!! 1500 was stole instead of being refunded !! I expect an answer to my several mails ! Nobody answer to the phone. The boss made the mistake while trying to refund my credit card and was clearly not really aware how to refund the card and insure me that I will be refund by 3/4 days anyway...our flight was 40 minutes after the car return and obviously I never was refund at all even one month after our trip ! This is unacceptable, I have all proof that the deposit wasnt refund ! Another person reported the same problem on google maps... You just are stealing people
