Experiencia bastante positiva con mucha facilidad y rapidez en la gestión. Coche acorde a lo solicitado, ha funcionado muy bien, en nuestro caso fue un Renault Clio que fue suficiente para recorrer toda la isla. Personal muy amable, incluso nos acercaron al centro una vez entregado el coche. También hablan español. Recomendable.

Reibungslose Abwicklung. Wir bekamen unser Mietauto pünktlich an unser Hotel. Ein Mitarbeiter ist mit uns die kleinen Macken am Auto durchgegangen und hat diese auch dokumentiert. Das Mietauto wurde nach unserem Aufenthalt wieder an unserem Hotel abgeholt und kurz auf Schäden geprüft - auch hier wieder sehr schnell, freundlich und reibungslos. Wir sind mehr als zufrieden!

Encontramos esta empresa en un blog y fue todo un acierto (sin intermediarios), relación calidad precio muy buena más si se compara con la contratación de seguro a todo riesgo sin franquicia, te recogen y te dejan en el aeropuerto, las entregas fuera de horario laboral tienen costo adicional (25 ).

Pues fueron muy amables pero nos dieron el peor coche que tenían, viejo, deteriorado y sucio , habíamos reservado un Hyunday y nos dieron un Opel Corsa, a pesar de haber pagado 600 por 5 días de alquiler

Carjet trabaja con ellos desafortunadamente. Alquilamos un coche para 5 personas. La primera sorpresa fue que el coche no tenía aire acondicionado así que fijaos bien que tenga el icono de frío en las opciones de alquiler. Luego, nos dijeron que no había problema si cambiábamos la hora de entrega del vehículo a media hora antes sin avisarnos de que esto suponía pagar 25 más. A la hora de la entrega, avisamos previamente que éramos 5 y que teníamos prisa para ir al aeropuerto nos dijeron que OK, y para nuestra sorpresa, cuando llegamos al parking de la compañía , nos mandaron a ir al aeropuerto, dejar a 3 personas y volver al parking de la compañía. Lo normal es que proporcionen un vehículo para 5 plazas + conductor (Way2azores lo hace) para llevarnos a todos al aeropuerto a la vez con nuestro equipaje. Todas las cuestas la tuvimos que coger en la primera marcha porque apenas tenía potencia. En fin, no ha sido buena experiencia.

Al dejar el coche, el revisor nos avisa de una raya de menos un centímetro en el tapacubos. La carrocería, espejos, cristales estaban impecables y ve una rayita mínima en el tapacubos, prácticamente invisible. Nos ha cobrado 100 por ello. Es muy probable que la rayita se la cuelen a todos los clientes porque ninguno nos fijamos en cómo nos dejan el tapacubos del coche a la entrega del mismo. Es sospechoso, como poco, que el revisor viera la raya, así que entiendo que la conoce de memoria.

Es de las compañías más baratas para alquilar coche a todo riesgo con una pequeña franquicia.Fueron puntuales a la llegada de mi vuelo y lo mismo con la devolución. Eurico es amable y servicial, habla bastante español, como recomendación, hubiera cogido un coche de gama media, ya que las carreteras son en pendiente. Aún así, me recorrí toda la isla con un Dacia Sandero, sin demasiado problema. Recomendado.

My husband and I booked the smallest cur, but finally they gave us a bigger car. We took the extra insurance and everything was perfect. Communication with Autocunha was done via WhatsApp, they are prompt and serious. We booked the car through website, they delivered the car in front of our hotel. Did book the rental car from Toronto and Mario did organized all , they looked after me like VIP guest , they let me leave my luggage in their office till checking time to my hotel , Offered me pick up and drop off from air port , my return time was 12 they came to airport to get the car back right on time ,I am traveler did not have top shelf experience like this, will go back and Will book by Mario and will tell to all my friends about Autocunha , Mario thank you I trust I will see you in your beautiful Island in soon future .

Fiable ,honestos y cumplen ,alquilamos directamente desde el teléfono ,solo retienen 150 eur ,seguro a todo riesgo ,excepto llantas y perdida de llaves y combustible ,por lo demás todo correcto hasta la devolución en el aeropuerto ,si quedas a una hora exacta para devolver el coche ,recuerda que el parking P1 de ponta delgada te permite solo 10 min de estancia gratuita en otro caso tendrás que pagar la diferencia de tiempo ,ellos están a la hora que les marqués y así el trámite y el pago del parking es gratuito ,Eurico ,la persona que nos atendió un 10 nos recibió con explicación de todo y una calurosa y agradable bienvenida a Sao Miguel Açores, recomendable ! Die Vermietung war von A bis Z super! Wir haben vorab online reserviert und wurden von Autocunha jeweils vor Übergabe und vor Rückgabe des Autos kontaktiert (via WhatsApp) und hatten damit die Gewissheit, dass alles klappen wird wie vereinbart. Ricardo war sehr nett und freundlich und wir konnten uns auf ihn verlassen. Generell ist die Autovermietung für eine Woche auf den Azoren recht teuer (zumindest für unseren Reisezeitraum April und Ostern). Autocunha zählte zu den günstigeren Anbietern und in Kombination mit dem problemlosen Ablauf haben sie volle 5 Sterne ***** verdient.

Ricardo was very helpful and cooperative. The overall experience was satisfactory. However, bear in mind that they dont have a parking space/office at the airport. Since theres no key box at the airport, someone from the agency is required to assist you in the event of an early morning drop-off and that entails an additional cost. No complaints. Will repeat.

Bester Auto-Mietservice den wir je hatten. Wurden beim Flughafen innert 10min abgeholt und zum Auto gebracht. Die Übergabe war sehr unkompliziert und das Auto in einem guten Zustand. Das Auto wurde direkt bei unserer Unterkunft pünktlich wieder abgeholt (gleiche Person wie bei der Übernahme). Auch dies war sehr unkompliziert.

Es ging nochmal alles gut, lässt es sich gang gut zusammenfassen. Habe auf Empfehlung diese Mietwagenfirma gewählt. Übergabe war bei starkem Nebel und ich sollte den Vertrag unterschreiben ohne dass wir die doch erheblichen Mängel am Fahrzeug besprechen. Ich musste das Fahrzeug auch gewaschen und gesaugt abgeben, sonst hätte mich das nochmal 25 gekostet (habe ich bisher bei keiner Mietwagenfirma erlebt). Bei Rückgabe wurde kein Rückgabeprotokoll angefertigt, sondern das Fahrzeug erst am Flugplatz geholt und ich musste mich dann überaschen lassen ob von der Kaution etwas abgezogen wird oder nicht. Auch einen Nachweis, dass die Kaution wieder frei ist gab es nicht bei Rückgabe (andere Mietwagenfirmen z.B. auf Pico Island machen das). Ich hatte also ein komisches Gefühl bei der Sache und musste noch vor dem Rückflug das Auto waschen und saugen. Da kommt zum Ende hin wenig Urlaubsfeeling auf. Ich würde das nächste Mal eine andere Firma wählen. Dennoch 3 Sterne da dieses Mal alles gut gegangen ist.

Smooth experience. We rented small car and they delivered it to our hotel. Also they picked it up from our hotel. One weird thing employee mentioned - in case of base insurance there is cleaning fee. First time I have ever hear about car rental cleaning fee. Never the less, we had full insurence so it was not our case.

Very bad experience. Because we do not have a credit card, only a debit card, they force us to take out insurance for 80 euros with their company, when we had already taken out other insurance. Furthermore, for delivering the car two hours early they make us pay 25! This company is a theft, I do not recommend it! In the Azores there are good companies that are worth it, not this one.

Great company to rent a vehicle in the Azores. I already made my booking several months in advance before coming to the Azores and the communication was very smooth as with the vehicle pick up. The options to pick up or have the vehicle picked up are also extensive and make the renting very convenient and not at all complicated. I would really recommend this company when going to the Azores.

Hemos alquilado un coche con esta empresa una semana y todo muy bien, coche pequeño acorde a lo que alquilamos. Nos han devuelto el depósito al día siguiente. Formales y el señor que nos atendió (Eurico) amable y hablaba español.

Hemos alquilado un pequeño Volkswagen para visitar San Miguel, con recogida y entrega en el aeropuerto. Estamos muy encantados con el servicio, han sido puntuales, transparentes y profesionales. El precio es muy bueno y han sido rápidos en devolvernos la fianza una vez cerrado el contrato. Muy recomendable!

Communication was excellent and the process was so simple. They were exactly where they said they d be in the airport parking lot both on arrival and departure. Their friendliness was the best as they inquired about our plans and made suggestions. They also let us know that crime was not an issue on the island and we could easily leave items in car. Overall, amazing service, vehicle, and best rental experience ever from a seasoned traveler.

Overall a very pleasant service and experience. We were unsure whether they had the type of car we wanted (since not all available cars seem to be listed on their website) so I messaged them via WhatsApp and got a really quick response. So in case you are looking for a specific car, dont hesitate to message them. I also really appreciated being able to rent without having a credit card. The salesman being transparent of the fees and overall costs deserves another plus point as well. The car was in a good condition and didnt cause any troubles. Car return at the airport was on time and went quick. The deposit was back on my bank account a few days after we returned the car. Thank you so much for the nice service!

Booking online through CarJet was charged non-applicable refueling fees - They dont reply to my emails, so looks like a scam. Auto Cunha wouldnt even try to help me resolve it, and charged me more unexpected extra fees for off-hours drop off (When was clear the pickup time and drop off from the booking). The car rental was not actually in the airport - someone picked us up outside the airport and grought us to some public parking where the car was. When I received the car, it had service warnings and the tires were deflated. The car was rented with several damages, and no antena. Gabriela (the person that gave us the car) was lovely though and did her best. But I cannot recommend AutoCunha nor CarJet. Unfortunately Worst Car Rental experience yet.

Our agent, Gabriela reached out to us via text as our flight landed to tell us where she would be with our car. She was very kind and efficient. Drop off was just as easy, we pulled in right in front of the airport and the agent met us there immediately. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. The car worked very well and was immaculate. I ve never experienced such a seamless and easy car rental process. Good work!!!!

Great experience with Autocunha! Gabriela and Mario are very kind and help me for all the rental: I had a problem with a mirror in the first day but the full insurance covered the damage. I recommend to sign the full insurance because in the Azores the weather could be really bad for the drivers and full insurance allows you to feel comfortable and safe with the car. If I return to the Azores island one day, I will pick for sure again Autocunha! PS. The 150 deposit come back to me in 10 days.

Hicimos la reserva del vehículo por Internet, contratamos seguro completo. El precio era el más económico de todas las compañías que buscamos. El coche se correspondió con lo que habíamos reservado. Nos esperaron a nuestra llegada y nos llevaron hasta donde tienen los coches, el coche estaba en buen estado, el depósito lleno. Cubrimos los papeles y quedamos para el día de la recogida. El coche funcionó perfectamente, teníamos una copia del contrato en el e-mail. A la recogida del vehículo no hubo ningún problema. La persona que nos atendió muy amable. Recomiendo 100%

Servicio muy atento, ningún problema. Nuestro vuelo se retrasó el día de llegada hasta medianoche, y Mario estuvo disponible en todo momento facilitando la entrega. En cuando al coche todo correcto, un i20 en perfecto estado. La oficina no está en el aeropuerto, pero la entrega y recogida se puede hacer directamente desde el mismo. Muy recomendable.

Great rental service, support is always available through whatsapp. The cars are handed over clean and with all pre-damages noted down. I took full insurance so no complaints about any late after charges. Insurance on Azores is not cheap- quite pricey, at least for rental cars. Fair tanking and unlimited kilometers included, the prices per day can go crazily fast up, so book before you arrive to the island. Workers speak english, so there werent any issues with the communication. I even got a stupid parking ticket, that I did not know how to pay, they offered to do it for me. In the end they sent a note to the police and even after a month neither was I charged on the credit card from the rental company, neither did the ticket arrive to my address. All in all they take care of their customers, 5 stars.

We had a great experience using Autocunha on the Açores. The communication via email and whatsapp was very quick & easy, a shuttle picked us up directly in front of the airport, the rental car was compact but had enough horsepower to take on all of the hills and mountains on the island. The friendly Autocunha employees were always very responsive on whatsapp, when we had any questions or doubts. Return of the car was also easy and smooth. I can recommend this car rental to anyone visiting the island, and would book a car with them again in the future :)

Excellent experience with Autocunha! I rented the car several weeks in advance, directly from their website - very easy. The owner knew our flight and sent a welcome text as we arrived at the airport in Sao Miguel! I replied and he then quickly met us just outside the terminal in his shuttle van. We drove a about 5 minutes to where the car was, completed the paperwork and off we went! So easy. Wonderful car, clean, any prior damage clearly indicated on the contract (which was provided by email in both English and Portuguese) Best of all he gave us his cell phone number to call, anytime, if we had any questions or problems whatsoever on our trip. Wow! Drop off was even easier. We went right to the front door of the airport, and he was waiting there to close the contact and take the car. No issues. Everyone we met spoke perfect English so no language concerns. The two young men we interacted with were very professional, welcoming and enthusiastic about their car rental business! These folks have my support. Highly recommend.

simply scammers. if you are not Portuguese, absolutely avoid this car rental, about 40 days after returning the car they charged me an exorbitant amount on my card for damages that have never been contested. I could not appeal to the court because it was in the azores. something never seen before. you should just be ashamed.

Terminato il noleggio con assicurazione PREMIUM (proprio per evitare qualsiasi tipo di problematica)mi è stata ridata la cauzione ma, dopo più di un mese, c è stato un prelievo NON autorizzato di ben 400 Sulla la mia carta!!!! Non mi è stata inviata nessuna mail per comunicarmi di questo addebito e, ad oggi, dopo le mie tante richieste di spiegazioni, non ho ancora ricevuto una spiegazione chiara e logica e soprattutto vorrei capire con che criterio non vi siete tenuti i soldi della cauzione ma vi siete permessi di RUBARE i miei soldi. Ovviamente vivendo dall altra parte del mondo è stato vano il tentativo di fare qualsiasi tipo di ricorso. Sconsigliato vivamente.

This car rental agency is actually honest. They pick you up at the airport and meet you there when you fly out. The car I rented was perfect for my needs. You might pay a bit more here but you dont have to worry about false claims of damage.

Nos pusimos en contacto con ellos y se preocuparon de buscarnos algo que se adaptara a nuestras necesidades, además de acercarnos el vehículo ellos mismos, ofreciéndose incluso a llevarnos al aeropuerto. Péssima experiência!! Na entrega, deram uma rápida volta pela viatura e identificaram os danos da mesma. No contrato apenas mencionaram os locais com danos, mas sem os descrever detalhadamente. Ingenuamente, não nos preocupamos em fotografar a viatura nesse momento. Na devolução, alegaram que um dos danos não existia aquando da entrega, e que o que está mencionado no contracto se refere a um outro risco que é praticamente invisível. Com isto, faturam um extra para a suposta reparação... mas o dano fica lá para o próximo cliente. Um bom modelo de negócio.

Alquilamos un coche con ellos viendo las buenas críticas. El coche no tenía problema, pero nos cobraron suplemento por entregar en aeropuerto y por entrega tardía (Eran las 18 h). Nos indicaron una gasolinera para repostar previo a devolverlo que estaba cerrada y otra que directamente no existe en google maps, claramente a sabiendas, y conociendo que íbamos justas de tiempo. Al no aparecer estas gasolineras, entregamos el vehículo con algo más de medio depósito, y el operario nos comunicó que no había problema, que sólo nos cobraría lo que valiese llenarlo. Conclusión? 69 euros llenar 1/3 de depósito de gasolina. En fin, penoso en ese sentido. Seguro que hay compañías más honestas Por cierto, ni siquiera me pidieron el carnet de conducir, dice bastante de ellos...

Muy económicos, más que las empresas que tienes en el aeropuerto. Llegamos a la isla sin reserva, enviamos un correo, y a los 10 min nos trajeron el coche al parking del aeropuerto. Trato amable y coche perfecto. Volvimos a dejar el coche y todo sin problema, el personal muy amable! Pedro.

Es hat alles geklappt. Auto war ein 3 Jahre alter Renault Clio mit ca. 40 tkm. Äußerst günstige Miete und Auto in gutem Zustand. Vorbeschädigungen waren bei Übernahme vollständig dokumentiert - bei Rückgabe somit alles ok. Achtung: nach 18 Uhr und vor 9 Uhr wird ein Zuschlag (etwa 20 ) verrechnet. Anfangs wollte man uns noch eine Endreinigung (10 ) verkaufen - ich habe das Auto am letzten Tag kurz mit einem Hochdruckreiniger gereinigt und ausgesaugt. Auch unüblich ist, dass die Kaution auf der Kreditkarte nicht blockiert sondern abgebucht wurde - solange das Geld aber innerhalb einer Woche wieder retour ist passt das für mich. Update 6.5.2019: Von der Kaution wurden nur 1.487,22 der 1.500 rücküberwiesen - das seien Bankspesen, da ist nichts zu machen. Sind zwar nur 12,78, aber dennoch nicht vorab ersichtlich - ändere die Bewertung von 5 auf 2 Sterne. Update 6.6.2019: Die Bankspesen wurden erstattet somit korrigiere ich wieder von 2 auf 4 Sterne. Schon vor Ort besonders freundlich und bemüht - Mitarbeiterin Marisa O.

Simpatia e profissionalismo. Carro entregue à porta de casa e devolvido no aeroporto, com a maior simplicidade nos procedimentos. Pedido pagamento de 8 dias quando tive usufruto do carro durante mais uma manhã. Bons preços. Mas na verdade o que perdura é a gentileza com que somos tratados.

El trato fue magnífico. El coche, a muy buen precio, nos permitió descubrir la isla de São Miguel durante una semana. Al término de nuestra reserva nos quedábamos en una ciudad en lugar del aeropuerto, y se ofrecieron a llevarnos y dejarnos en el hotel. También nos recomendaron sitios que visitar y tenían el coche preparado con panfletos. Lo recomendamos mucho y volveríamos a alquilar con ellos.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! VERY UNRELIABLE COMPANY! They delivered us a car with many risks and dents, took note of a few on the contract and we both signed it. When we returned the car, they checked it thoroughly said everything was fine and they would reimburse our VISA of the 1k euro deposit. After we left the Azores, they called us and said they would take out almost 300 euros from the 1k euros deposit, claiming it was to repair damage they subsequently saw, which we did do not, nor did we accept to have done it. The damage was obviously done after the car was returned. We will file a complaint at the police, if the situation is not corrected right away.

Yo no dudaría ni medio segundo contratar aquí el coche. Eso sí, con antelación, que habría salido por la mitad según nos informaron. Dejando de lado que cogimos el coche en pleno agosto y sin reserva previa (lo he supuso 60 al día con seguro todo incluido, por lo que el precio fue elevado, pero mejor que otra cosa en Ponta Delgada) la atención no pudo ser mejor. Tony nos dio todas las facilidades, viniendo hasta nuestro hotel con el coche y contrato en mano, resolvió de forma ágil, super profesional y amable todas nuestras dudas. Nada que ver con las agencias de alquiler de marca que sientes que te están timando. Es frecuente que te pidan depósitos locos (y en mano) si no tienes tarjeta de crédito, aquí si no tienes tarjeta de crédito no te hacen sentir menos, sino que facilitan todo lo posible la experiencia Recomendable no, lo siguiente. Transparencia y profesionalidad.

Empezaré por las cosas buenas, el coche estaba en buen estado, nos lo entregaron puntualmente en el aeropuerto, y el proceso fue sencillo, el chico fue amable y hablaba castellano, que se agradece. No tuvimos ningún problema los días que tuvimos el coche. Quedamos para devolver el coche a las 13:00 en el aeropuerto, nuestro vuelo salía a las 15:00. Nos adelantaron el vuelo a las 14:00 esa misma mañana, así que decidimos ir una hora antes, primero hacer el check in y después (a las 13:00) devolverles el coche, para no molestarlos con cambios de horarios pues a nosotros nos daba igual el orden. Resulta que como habíamos aparcado el coche en el parking del aeropuerto (donde nos dijeron en la entrega) antes de la hora acordada y no les habíamos avisado, nos tocaba pagar el parking a nosotros, pues su política es aprovechar los 10 minutos de cortesía que da el parking para hacer la devolución del coche rápidamente y sacarlo para no tener que pagar nada. Me parece un detalle feo por su parte, que por 2 queden mal y parece que no se preocupan por los detalles y por la satisfacción del cliente. No es por el dinero en si, después de pagar casi 300 del alquiler 2 no van a ninguna parte, pero el detalle de hacerselo pagar al cliente es muy feo. Entiendase esto como una crítica constructiva, posiblemente repetiría con ellos si volviera a Sao Miguel, pero un detalle feo es feo. Gracias. EDITO: la empresa se ha puesto en contacto con nosotros y nos confirman que nos abonan el costo del parking. Un gran detalle por su parte, gran servicio de atención al cliente, gracias. Como dije anteriormente si volvemos a Sao Miguel no tendremos ningún problema en volver a alquilar el coche con ellos. Gracias.

I stayed at a bead and breakfast and the host recommended Autocunha. It was very easy to set up a reservation and although they don t have a location at the airport, they meet you there! My flight was delayed and the representative was here when I arrived. The car was a cute blue vw that matched the color of the sky! To return the car you meet at the airport for a quick drop off. When I went inside the lines for the other companies were so long! Very happy with the service at Autocunha!!

We rented from Autocunha during a recent stay at a hotel nearby. They delivered the car to the hotel and met us at the airport for car drop off. The price was very reasonable and the staff were great to deal with. Response times were very quick by email. I would rent from them again on our next visit.

Great service! Really helpful from start to finish. We made some small changes to our reservation with very short notice, and they were always accommodating, answering quickly. And they speak English really well.

Our first time hiring a car abroad. We had such a good experience with this company in Ponta delegada. The whole process was very smooth because we were able to fill out all of our details on an online form so we didnt have to do this at the airport. Also the email response was quick and helpful. Tony and his wife were waiting in the airport with our name on a sign and it was only a few muinits before we were off. They were kind enough to give us some tips and maps for the island. We hired the cheapest car because we were on a budget and it said there was no air con on the website. However, we were plesently suprised to find the car did have aircon. The car was in a really good condition. We didnt get any extras (upgrades for insurance) but made sure we took our excess insurance in the UK. The reason I chose this company was after doing some research I saw that with bigger car hire companies, in the airport, there was a long waiting time to pick up your car and some reviews of the other companies said they had a bad experience with the customour service etc. I would highly reccomend this company if you want friendly and efficient service and dont want to get ripped off by bigger companies.

Great service. Antonio was really friendly and helpful. Despite our flight was delayed, they were waiting for us without any problem. The car was perfect, everything working, easy to park and didnt cosume too much fuel. When renting a car the most important thing for me is getting an easy and nice service without any problem. Wir hatten schon vor unserem Urlaub einen VW-UP reserviert. Der wurde uns sogar am Vorabend der Mietdauer vors Hotel gebracht. Tolles Auto für den Urlaub zu zweit, sparsam im Verbrauch, ideal auch für die engen Strassen auf der Insel. Problemlose Übergabe und Rücknahme 10 Tage später auch wieder vor dem Hotel. Am Flughafen wäre auch möglich gewesen. Danke !

I almost hesitate to give this review because I want this auto rental company to be the best kept secret. We have rented cars from Autocunha the last 2 times we have travelled to Sao Miguel and will continue to do so in the years to come. I rented from Autocunha when I visited Ponta Delgada. You can make the booking request with their website and communicate with their office over email. They dont have an office at the airport terminal but they picked me up there. They allowed me to drop the car off at the airport terminal, too. They were cheaper than the other car rentals in Ponta Delgada.

tivemos uma experiência 5 estrelas tanto no levantamento quanto no retorno da viatura. apesar de no site de aluguel constar que o levantamento seria no terminal, recebemos uma ligação a combinar o encontro ao lado de fora das chegadas assim que o avião aterrou, pelo que não esperamos nem sequer 1 minuto. os rapazes com que lidamos foram muito educados e prestativos. recomendado!!!
