Very good price, had a car available immediately. Picked up in town, dropped off at the airport. Was apprehensive booking a car due to other reviews for other companies. This was something like £10/day fully insured. He said all he would actually check is that it was refuelled. Would highly recommend, very good!

No problems with full insurance, no deposit required. When returning the car, only the tank was checked to see if it was full. First they gave us Fiat, but through 2 hours somethings happened, we couldnt start the car and they replaced it without any problems. We had Hyundai, new and great car. We spent 5 super days! One nuance, they rarely reply on watsapp, better to call. Next time we will definitely rent a car here again.

Easily the best experience Ive had renting a car. Straight forward, no BS. The car we got was in perfect condition. I couldnt have asked for more. Im so happy I found this company before going with one of the larger, more expensive chain rentals.

We rented a car for two weeks. We booked their SCWD and tire & rim insurance. Therefore no deposit and no credit card required. The car was in very good condition. It took about ten seconds to return the car. They just checked the fuel gauge. Super easy, super convenient. This is how I imagine a car rental company should be. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. We picked up our car from the airport P6 parking (a 100-200m walk from airport) in the evening without any issues. Fuss free renting and they don t push any insurance on you. Filled up the car and dropped it off at the meeting time at the airport (they came 15 mins earlier and so did we, so it was perfect). Car given back in less than 5 mins. Excellent service. Quick reply via email. Fuss free. Would definitely rent from here again if we come back.

Everything was great. They even dealt with a shortly (<24hours) change of flight schedule so we can get our car an arrival. Giving the car back was incredibly fast and unproblematic. They did not try to charge us for damage that we didnt cause.

Definitely where you want to rent a car when visiting the island! We did extensive research and were scared off by many other companies having dishonest practices for conditions of the vehicle upon return. They are truly a very short walk into the airport parking lot. Get the full insurance and have your mind be at ease knowing you are getting a reliable vehicle, prompt customer service and an overall great experience. Ao chegar lá foram super atenciosos e rápidos, explicaram tudo certinho. Adorei o facto de não ter custos adicionais por um condutor extra e as explicações de como funcionava os seguros. We rented a Renault Clio for a family of 4 for a short week (perfect for us, bit of a squeeze with all the luggage, as expected). Easy pick up and drop off at the airport P6, with a much appreciated short lift back to the terminal door after drop off. Recommended.

V auguste sme mali po i ané Renault Clio pre 4 dospelých udí. Auto vy lo v ade, kam sme chceli. Bolo skoro ako nové. Odovzdávanie prebehlo rýchlo na P6. Pri vrátení autá o 6 ráno bola silná búrka a auto sme mohli odovzda pred dverami letiska, aby sme nezmokli. Bolo to naozaj krásne gesto. Iné spolo nosti by neboli také empaticke. Na Azory sa vraciame pravidelne a budeme ur ite vyu íva jej slu by.

Excellent service and very quick. Had no issues when getting and returning the car. Although it s a 5 min walk from the arrival terminal, the price does make up for it. I had the Hyundai i10 and like other reviews it is fairly new and interior is very clean! Vehicle In this rental company arent maintained. We rented a vehicle for 3 weeks and had to switch 3x due to each vehicle having issues. Be aware when dropping off your car at the airport go early because they are not always in the office you will wait long hours.

He alquilado en Ponta Delgada con ellos y ningun problema. Cogí seguro a todo riesgo y no me pidieron ni fianza. El coche estaba muy bien y muy limpio. La oficina en el aeropuerto está a fuera en el Parking 6 no dentro de la terminal, caminando a 3 min. Ahora voy a Terceira y he vuelto a reservar con ellos, espero que la experiencia sea igual de buena.

Personnels organisés et accueillants, voiture polyvalente, propre et a surtout fait laffaire ( dans mon cas une Hyundai i20 de -2ans ) pour les routes pentues de lîle de São Miguel. Véhicule loué pour 5 jours au mois de juin avec assurance zéro franchise sur leur site ! Le paiement se fait en 2 fois, la moitié du prix à la réservation sur le site puis le reste le jour de la prise du véhicule.

My group and I rented a car in the period from June 25 - July 3, 2024. When taken over, the car was clean and fragrant. They were already waiting for us at the airport at the agreed time and the handover also took place at the airport. We had full insurance. When handing over, they checked whether the fuel was topped up and that was all. A reliable company. We highly recommend.

Great service clear pricing no hassle

Great experience with this car rental company. We had a new Peugeot 2008 (7 200 km). Everything went well during pick up (5 min max) and return of the car (10 seconds as was promissed). I had full coverage insurance, so they just checked full tank and took keys. Thats all. Would rent again. I used credit card for reservation and debit card for rest of the payment on pick up.

Good find! I was looking for a local company as I saw some bad reviews of the big name ones. This one was great. The process of pick-up & drop-off was smooth. It was nice that they offer airport pick up & a downtown location, which is what we chose as we wanted to pick up the next day - walked from our Airbnb. Just note to leave a little extra time for drop off as the lot isnt super close to the airport entrance. We were rushing so we had to run across the parking lots... this was on us though. Overall, the car was nice and we had no issues!

I am very happy that I spent 2 hours searching and found this company to rent a car in Azores. It was the best decision I could have made. Sure, you can find lower prices on big aggregators or from popular rental companies, but its not worth it, trust me. Those few tens of dollars are not worth your mental health and those nerves if you choose another company. At Go Rent-a-car, everything was hassle-free. They dont require driving experience, their insurance is very cheap(I highly recommend taking it). For 30 euros a week I was able to have my car picked up and returned in 5 minutes. I also had one unpleasant incident where I broke front headlight. I was not told a word when returning the car. Everything was covered by the insurance. The car was a Hundai i10, new and clean. I am very satisfied with their service and now I will recommend Go Rent-a-car to everyone who will be traveling to Azores.

Très satisfait du service offert par léquipe de Go rent a car. Voiture récente et en parfait état (Hyundai i20). Nous avions pris lassurance SCDW et SPJ. Récupération et retour de la voiture rapide et sans histoire. Nous avons eu un problème de crevaison au lac de furnas à 19h, à 45 minutes de Ponta Delgada, crevaison nécessitant un changement de roue. Deux employés sont venus le plus rapidement possible pour effectuer ce changement. Pas de frais supplémentaires facturés. Merci pour tout !

It was fast to pick-up and drop the car back at the P6 lot at the airport. They were incredibly flexible when I had to drop the car off at 5:30am to catch my flight to Pico. The car got us all over Sao Miguel with no problems. I ll definitely rent from them again on my next visit to Sao Miguel.

I was looking for a great company to rent from this one is! You pick your car from P6, literally 5 minutes walk from the airport. Their full insurance option is a great choice and it doesnt drive the price to the sky. The car was delivered really clean, was pretty new and drove perfectly. Although the Hyundai i10 is a small car with automatic gearbox, it drove perfectly and had no issues on any road.

You dont need to put a deposit if you are choosing full protection, which was not expensive, also picking up and dropping off procedures were super quick, no time waste during it. Also staff was helpful, recommended app for weather cameras in the area, called a taxi after car drop off, etc. Recommending it 10/10.

Both the collection and return were very straightforward and quick. Overall, the vehicle was in an acceptable condition, but the USB socket did not work on my Citroën C2 and there was no Bluetooth either, so the smartphone could not be connected. Overall, the car was very basic. There wasnt even a hill start assistant.

Great experience, short walk from the arrivals terminal and easy to find. No lines, friendly staff that speak English well. Opted for full insurance, paid half of the total when booking and paid the other half when picking up the car. Really easy to use, we had a skoda kamiq and felt it was the perfect size of vehicle to explore the island with for 2 adults. Affordable and reliable, highly recommend!

Nothing but great things to say about the company. After spending weeks looking at different companies on the island, it was clear the best reviewed companies are the local ones, not the multi-national ones. If you do your own reviews of the rental companies at the airport you will see very poor ratings. Not worth the headache. Booking was easy on their website and pricing was more than great. Full insurance was only $15 per day and you really need to get insurance for a trip to this island. There was many times you are going to go hiking or visit the many places around the island, and the parking lot situations are going to be on dirt areas filled with rocks or you will have to drive over a gap to get to the lot and it means you are going to hit the front of the car. The last thing you want is damage to your car when you are driving on a dirt road with rocks, it happens so be prepared. Car pickup was in Parking Lot 6 which is maybe 10 mins walk from the terminal. If you pay extra for the P6 pickup, you can get it there. They actually have a small kiosk where they have an employee handling pickup/dropoffs. After signing paperwork and paying my balance, i got my car which was waiting for me already. It was great for my trip all over the island. I think I drove around 750km the whole trip. No issues at all. Drop off at the airport was easy as well. Highly recommend them for your future trip to the island.

The staff were very efficient and friendly. On arrival they had the car ready based on when my flight landed and they were waiting for me at drop off as well. They even drove me to the departures entrance since it was raining. The car was great for a whole week of exploring Sao Miguel and the price was excellent.

Cant recommend this company enough! I think I looked at every rental company on the island before settling with these guys, and even with the full insurance and the tyre insurance that I added, they were still cheaper than others without those extras added. We popped a tyre within about half an hour of setting off, and they were with us in about 30 mins to put a temporary tyre on and changed it fully the next day, no questions asked. Cant fault them!

I enjoyed my rental from here! I would say getting all the daily insurance is the move - made it very stress-free. They were able to accommodate my flight schedule change and had the car ready for pick up when I landed. Be sure to fill up the car with gas the day before if you have an early flight - I made that mistake but they also helped me out with that. Im definitely using them when Im back!

These guys are extremely professional and the service is virtually hassle-free. I d recommend go for the full insurance just for the peace of mind, with some extra cost but no deposit needed. Our car (Peugeot 208) was new (11k km), the engine was powerful to climb steep hills and the navigation system works perfectly with iPhone via CarPlay. The car also has cameras that can assist with parking and reverse driving. It was raining on our return day and they offered to drop me off at the airport becasue the parking was a bit of a walk away, which was very nice! All in all, 100% would recommend this in a heartbeat!

Great value and service . We chose the insurance and there really was no hidden extras . The car was ready and waiting for us at P6, around 5-10 min walk from arrivals ,we paid the rest of the balance and was advised all ok and just return car with same level of fuel. On return we were also driven to departures, which was lovely.

We rented a car for a week with full insurance and everything went perfectly. The car was quite new and in good condition. Service was excellent and everything went very easily. There wasnt no problem even that we were few hours late from the pick up time at the middle of the night because our flight delayed. We reported the delay and there was a friendly person waiting with the car at the agreed place when we finally landed. Our recommendations!

Después de que otra empresa me cancelara el coche un día antes del viaje me puse en contacto con ellos y todo fué rápido y fácil , por el mismo precio que la nefasta empresa anterior , me dieron un coche mejor y con seguro a todo riesgo nada más llegar me tenían el coche listo , con el depósito lleno y limpio como ina patena , un Renault Clio nuevo que iba genial , para devolverlo llegué media hora tarde a lo que no pusieron ninguna pega en absoluto, el chico que nos atendió con una sonrisa nos preguntó que tal nos había ido con el coche y en la isla y confió en mi al decirle que el depósito estaba lleno , todo rápido y muy sencillo es una empresa recomendable al 100% , muchas gracias !!

Alugamos um carro por uma semana com a go...rent a car. Desde o processo de aluguer super fácil online, com a chegada ao aeroporto onde foi bastante fácil levantar o carro também. Alugámos um fiat panda ou similar e foi-nos dado um opel corsa novo que adorei. Tudo muito simples. Optamos pelo seguro completo para não termos preocupações, o valor foi bastante justo sem torpecias ou cobranças de um seguro absurdo. A entrega do carro foi tal como tudo o resto impecável, verificar o combustível e feito. Sem dúvida para repetir a experiência seja em S.Miguel ou Terceira. Obrigada!

Buena compañía de alquiler de seguros. Precios muy competitivos respecto a la competencia. Nos dejaron dos coches prácticamente nuevos y muy bien equipados. Recomendable coger el seguro a todo riesgo para poder recorrer la isla con total tranquilidad. No merece la pena ahorrar en eso. Por poner un pequeño pero: la zona de recogida de alquiler está en el parking más alejado del aeropuerto y hay veces que el personal no se encuentra en la caseta, con lo que hay que llamar por teléfono. 100% recomendable.

Meilleur loueur que j ai pu expérimenté jusque là. Pour un prix défiant toute concurrence, j ai pu conduire une voiture quasi neuve, propre et assez puissante pour affronter les dénivelés de l île. La remise en mains est rapide et efficace, pas de caution (j avais pris l assurance), paiement en CB moitié en ligne, moitié sur place (pas besoin de carte de crédit). Ils ne sont pas là à chercher la moindre rayure pour facturer le client, il y a une vraie relation confiance!

I booked a car here based on the reviews. The reviews are 100% accurate. The service is too notch. He even asked me if my credit card had the insurance. No hassle. No upsales He installed the app for my phone in the car and made sure everything was perfect before I took off. The rental rate was the best I could find. I dont think Ive ever had this good service from a car rental agency. I like this idea of local car rental agencies instead of companies that are trying to sell you all sorts of things to increase their profit.

Just completed a 6 day car rental from the airport. The little i10 was in perfect shape and only had 1500km. The guys here were great. I cannot recommend them enough. Pick up was super easy and the price was as discussed. The 2 gentlemen I delt with were friendly and professional. No pressure for insurance, although at 8 a day for full coverage I did take it. I exchanged a few emails prior to pickup and return and they responded within hours. I wish renting a car was always this easy!

They wanted me to put down a $2000 euro deposit for the car and I told them I had my own insurance. They then asked me again about adding insurance and I told them I had my own. They charged me an extra $80 euros for insurance. Terrible company, must avoid! Its a scam, be careful.

Simply the best rental company on the island. I have been on the Azores a few times, so if you are travelling here save your time looking for another rental company because you will not find better/cheaper one. I strongly recommend to rent with full insurance so you dont have to worry about anything in narrow streets of Ponta Delgada and you avoid paying deposit. Após uma intensa pesquisa de empresas rent-a-car, a Go rent foi a que me apresentou uma proposta mais barata e com melhores condições. A equipa foi super prestável tanto no momento da recepção do carro como na entrega (mais uma vez aproveito para pedir desculpa pelo pequeno atraso). O carro era novo e tinha pouquíssimos quilómetros! Quando regressar a São Miguel vai ser a minha escolha novamente!

I would highly recommend Go Rent-a-car. Was a little nervous at first renting from a smaller local rental car company, but everything worked out great. We took the full insurance, which was a steal compared to what others charge. It also made the pick up and drop off process very efficient. The car was a little Opel Corsa with less than 6,000km. It was very clean, had no damage and was the perfect size for the island. One thing to mention, you may need to give them a call when you arrive at the parking lot at the airport. We had noted an arrival time of 7am when we reserved the car, but after nobody showed up for 15-30 minutes we ended up giving them a call. After we called, someone was there within 5 minutes. Not a big deal, just something to be prepared for. Again, I highly recommend Go Rent-a-car. I wouldnt hesitate renting from them again.

Excellent service and good value for money. We rented an automatic Polo. The car was in good condition, clean interior, good tires with not much wear. Pick-up and drop -off was quick and straightforward. The guys are friendly and customer oriented. At the time I rented they had the cheapest Full Coverage (no deductible) package, which I find useful in the narrow streets of Ponta Delgada.

We had researched some different options for renting a car in Ponta Delgarda. After reading through reviews, the choice fell on Go Rent-a-car. Our expectations were fully met. We booked the car from home, and immediately received confirmation that the desired car was available, and half of the car rental was booked on the credit card. When I had to pick up the car at the agreed time, two nice guys stood and greeted me on the pavement. Car insurance is usually very expensive in the Azores, but with this company it was very reasonable. I was told that I should not worry about scratches on the car, as I had taken out the full insurance, which meant 0 deductible. The car simply had to be returned with the same amount of petrol in the tank as I received it. The rest of the rent was then reserved on the credit card when I got the car delivered. The car was a VW polo with automatic transmission, which was very suitable for driving on the small winding mountain roads, and we were extremely satisfied with it. We can highly recommend others to rent a car here.

Overall neutral experience - they were definitely the cheapest option and the car did its job. Only downside is you have to walk to furthest parking lot for pickup/drop off (about 5-7min walk) and make sure to put the actual time you want to drop the car off. We put a buffer time 1 hour later than we actually intended and ended up arriving and having to wait 30 min as no one was there for us to return the car to. Would recommend to chill travelers, not anyone easily anxious.

Nice staff, fast pick-up, everything went smooth. They wont look for dirt and small blemishes on the car and even an hour delay was not a problem either. The icing on the cake is that we got a beautiful, few months old Hyundai with 9000 km which was a perfect companion for us for six days (we drove almost 1000 km).

Professional local car rental company! Reasonable price. Clean car. Friendly and helpful staff. The insurance is cheaper than other companies and no deposit needed if you choose full insurance. If travelling in couple, a small car would do and it is easier to move around in some of the narrow roads here. Remember to notify the staff when you are returning the car earlier than schedule so that they ll be ready at the drop off point.

Nous avons loué une voiture pour 1 semaine. Le véhicule, une Opel corsa, était neuve à peine 10.000 km au compteur. Elle était très bien équipée avec GPS intégré et radar de recul ainsi que plusieurs options daide à la conduite. Nous avions préalablement opté pour une réservation sans lassurance de la compagnie. Toutefois, nous avons changé davis à la lecture des autres commentaires laissés sur Google. Vous ne regretterez pas de payer ces 10 par jour. Si vous optez pour cette solution, lors de la prise du vehicule aucun état des lieux nest effectué et vous naurez pas à vous battre pour ne pas vous faire charger des dégâts antérieurs. Lors de la restitution, aucun état des lieux et pas de surcharge si la voiture est sale à cause du temps qui peut être un peu capricieux. La seule vérification est la vérification du plein de carburant. Loption de lassurance est aussi très utile si vous navez pas de carte de crédit. Pour finir, le personnel est sympathique et disponible. Ils nous ont attendu malgré nos 3 heures de retard.. (à cause du vol). Je ne peux que vous conseiller cette compagnie.

Volvimos a repetir de contratar a empresas pequeñas y de la zona .No nos arrepentimos de haber contratado con ellos un coche a todo riesgo para toda la estancia en la isla. Solo que para otra vez si volvemos cogeríamos un coche de mayor potencia porque hay en algunas cuestas que no nos subía el coche. ( error nuestro ) Solo como sugerencia es que se ponga en el parking 6 un cartel alto o bajo en la zona de peatones con una flecha porque no se ve donde está la caseta y si hay coches altos como nos paso , no se ve para nada la caseta y en días de calor o lluvia es bastante frustrante no encontrarlo.

Rented an automatic VW Polo from the airport. Compared to other car rental agencies in PDL when doing my research, these guys had great price and full insurance was very reasonable. Easy to walk out airport, turn right and short walk to P6. Excellent, no hassle customer service! Car was great driving. Return was easy, just verified I had filled the tank and thats it. Would absoluyely rent here again and recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful experience renting a car from Go...Rent a car on Sao Miguel Island. Had an almost brand new Dacia Jogger for our larger group, which worked perfectly. They watched our flight and once we were at the airport we could skip the lines at all the inside desks and walk straight down to the end of the Parking Lot, maybe 5-6 minutes, and they have a little building there with the car ready. Quick signing, paid the other half and we were gone. Also great value for full coverage, so we didnt have to worry about anything. They just asked us to tell them what time we would return with a full gas tank and they met us again at the little building right on time and we were walking to the terminal within 3 minutes. I highly recommend supporting this small business, especially with the terrible reviews the bigger companies get, if we all trusted and supported small business more, this world would be a better place. We rented a car for the week we were here and it couldn t have been easier. They were responsive to questions and helpful. The rental process was easy and dropping off the car was easy too. Good experience, good value for money, good insurance policy where they dont look for every scratch the car has like their competitors. The cars was in great condition. We liked them the most. (Tried other 3 vendors in the islands) Note that if you book the car for PDL airport, you need to be accurate in the time of pickup or drop off as they dont have a constant booth in PDL airport (But as they are very responsive for changes, this was not an issue)

Book in advance as they are quite popular and their cars get booked early. If you are dropping off car at airport first disembark all luggage near departure then deliver car (in our case car park 6 which is a 5 minute walk max to airport, but we had a lot of luggage). Consigliamo questo noleggio auto perché il personale è stato davvero gentile e simpatico (il ragazzo che ci ha portato la macchina in aeroporto ci ha conaigliato una festa da non perdere). Inoltre, ci hanno permesso di portare la macchina sporca senza aumentare i costi di noleggio. Infine, a differenza di altri noleggi auto sono stati trasparenti per quanto riguarda i costi di assicurazione e noleggio auto. Grazie di cuore!!!

Amazing experience and I wouldnt hesitate to use this company again. There are lots of options in Ponta Delgada, but the service we received here was exceptional. I had an issue with driving the initial car that I booked (a fault on my side, I must add!) and the staff were incredibly patient in providing an alternative. Spontan ein Auto gemietet. Die Männer dort waren alle sehr freundlich und seriös. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Auch die Rückgabe am Flughafen lief reibungslos ab.

Sehr unkomplizierte Fahrzeug Übergabe und Rücknahme wenn man den vollen Versicherungsschutz gebucht hat. Das Fahrzeug war ein aktueller Peugeot 208. Bei Übergabe am Flughafen war er perfekt aufbereitet und in sehr gutem technischen Zustand. Im Gegensatz zu den großen Anbietern gab es hier auch keine lange Wartezeit am Schalter und wir konnten ohne Zeit zu verlieren direkt los fahren. Andere Passagiere des selben Flugs waren aufgrund der Wartezeit bei ihrem Mietwagenanbieter erst knapp eine Stunde nach uns im Hotel. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert und beim nächsten Mal gerne wieder!

We rented a car for 4 days from Go Rent-a-car. Very kind staffs, always answers your call and very reasonable price. If you request for airport service (only with additional 10 EU), they will bring your car to the airport (wait at P6) and get all the paper work done in few minutes there, and when you are returning the car, they will come to the airport to pick up the car. We had a small issue with low pressured tire in the middle of the trip, but staffs answered our call immediately and helped out. We had a great time in Azores islands and Go Rent-a-car definitely made our trip easier and more enjoyable!

Incredibly friendly staff who had waited for us at the airport. The car was ready, the overall costs were clear and they also offered us to take the full insurance with a low price. Im so glad that I rented a car there! My card was destroyed by an ATM and I had a very limited amount of cash in foreign currency. And only those guys moved forward to help me as they allowed me to pay for gas through PayPal. I just cant tell enough how grateful am I. Because of the holidays, it was not possible to exchange or transfer money. They helped me so much as I had a hard choice to spend money on food or gas, but not on both. Thank you so much! We rented a car for 4 days and had a great experience with Go rent-a-car. The reservation online was very simple. We had some questions because it was our first time renting a car, so I sent an email and got a response very quickly. We picked up the car at their garage in the center of Ponta Delgada (you can also pick it up at the airport) and the staff was incredibly helpful, attentive to any concerns we might have had and was very welcoming. We didnt have to pay any expensive fee considering we got the full insurance package, which was a very reasonable price. Fortunately, we had no issues with the car during our holiday, but they also provide help if needed. We recommend this company without hesitation and will definitely rent from them again the next time we visit São Miguel again!

Everything went extremely smooth. They even upgraded the car for free. I think price performance ratio is excellent. In case you dont have credit card you can take scdw insurance for a fee, this is very convenient. I also recommend taking tires and rims insurance because the streets are quite narrow. Nous avons loué une opel corsa pour visiter lîle durant les 3 jours de notre visite de lîle Sao Miguel durant les vacances de Noël, nous sommes une famille de 5 personnes. Nous avions choisi cette agence suite aux bons avis. Nous sommes arrivés tard le soir (23h30) nous avions prévu daller à notre logement en taxi depuis laéroport (10euros) et récupérer la voiture à lagence du centre ville le lendemain matin. La personne de go rent a car ma appelé le matin pour me proposer de venir me chercher comme il pleuvait beaucoup, cétait très gentil à lui. Récupérer la voiture a été très facile. La voiture était très propre. Nous avons restitué le véhicule le matin de notre départ à laéroport, toujours très facile et rapide. La caution a ete restituée immédiatement à la dépose. Les personnes à qui nous avons eu à faire ont été très aimables et sympathiques. Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment très très bien (54 pour 3j). Je recommande également à 100%.

I rented a car a bit more then a week here. They work every day, it has been even opened 12.31.2023. Third time on Azores I decided to choose different rental, and it was a proper chose. I picked up Skoda, since it s been with automatic transmission, also took a full insurance , suggest always take that one for rent cars. We have rent a Renault clio for 4 days. The was great, no scars at all. Everything was fine, they speak English well, and the staff are so helpful. I absolutely recommend them.

Really good renting place. While reserving the car the first half of my payment didn t go through. So I called and they picked it up right away and explained me why that happened. So I made the reservation. When we came to the pick up place they brought us the car but the battery didn t work so we called them and they brought a new car in 10 minutes. We could choose between two options. Insurance 10 /day or 750 deposit. We drove 400 km in that car and everything was without a problem.

Lo que buscábamos para nuestras vacaciones en Sao Miguel. Coche pequeño, poco papeleo y letra pequeña, seguro a todo riesgo y cero preocupaciones. Te lo dan lleno, lo entregas lleno (y en el aeropuerto). El coche alquilado fue un Fiat Panda, tenía unos 2500 km y estaba impoluto tanto por dentro como por fuera. Así da gusto. Gracias André

Honestly the best car rental I have had the pleasure to book from. Normally it takes minimum half an hour to get all formalities done at pick up, whereas here it took less than a minute. Additional insurance was cheap and meant that at drop off only the fuel was checked. Lightning fast. Car was in very good condition. Very nice service as well. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Apos uma longa pesquisa das ofertas da ilha de varias categorias de carro encontrei a GoRent. Para alem das criticas favoraveis ler os termos de serviço, sei agora que escolhemos a melhor opção. A reserva online ocorreu sem dificuldades, bem esclarecedora do tipo de veículo e coberturas. O pagamento foi de 50% para usufruto de 5 dias, reserva com confirmação por email, e o restante no local com cartão. Nao foi necessário cartao de crédito. A viatura correspondeu 100% ao contratado à excecao da cor mas é o mesmo modelo com extras, como novo e eficiente. A limpeza do carro estava imaculada. O carro estava bem tratado e incluia android auto com navegação e leitor de sinais e outras funcoes de apoio à condução. Tanto no levantamento como na entrega o serviço foi rapido sem grandes burocracias e foram bastante atenciosos. Excedeu as nossas expectativas mesmo sendo no parque 6 o mais afastado foi bastante facil localizar o ponto de encontro. Se regressarmos esta vai ser de novo a empresa selecionada. Só temos a agradecer terem proporcionado para contribuir para uma viagem sem stress e descomplicada.

From the first contact until giving the car back, their agents were super helpful, polite, always available and professional. I started by sending them an email requesting some clarifications, then proceeded to booking the car on their website and, once I arrived at the airport, got the car in about 5 min. You just walk over to parking lot #6 and they give you the car. Since I got all the insurance, there was no need for a credit card or to check the damage before/after. The car was a Renault Clio, which performed well in the hills of the island. Recommended!

Just retured small car rental after 8 days use and have to say overall experiance the best i have ever had and i am 76! I have rented in France/Potugal/Italy etc. but these people just seem to care more about their customer. Doesnt hurt that their rental cost are way better as frosting on the cake.

After a long search I came across this car rental company and I can highly recommend it. The price was very reasonable, the car matched what was booked (50% deposit of the price), the service was very helpful and there was no problem with the car being delivered when our flight was postponed to the night hours. The handover of the car was quick. The car was clean and well equipped. The advantage is the full car insurance included in the price. I am very happy to have used this company.

We have rented with Go Rent-a-car twice in Ponta Delgada. In both cases staff were very friendly and flexible. The car was brand new both times as well as being well appointed and great to drive. We would definitely use them again.

My husband and I spent a little more than two weeks on the island (Sept 2022), we rented a car the whole time. There were no problems with the car, it worked perfectly and we got what was promised. The preliminary and on-site administration worked correctly and quickly, and the clerks were also kind and helpful. We are completely satisfied.

We rented a car with them for one week and we had the best experience. All the staff was nice to us and always available. Our flight got delayed before the departure, and after communicating them the new flight number and arrival time, he gave our car later that night. They always replied in very short times. The car was perfect, it was a Fiat panda hybrid in perfect conditions and at the best price you can find. They also dont ask for credit card or age limit (which was my problem with most of the other companies). Once returning the car they dont try to scam you asking for money for damages that dont exist or were already there. As said, we really had a great experience with them!

Preços bastante acessíveis e inferiores à concorrência, o serviço prestado é de qualidade, os carros são novos e a limpeza está impecável. Os funcionários foram muito atenciosos e esclareceram muito bem as nossas dúvidas. O processo de aluguer/devolução foi bastante rápido, dinâmico e sem muitas burocracias o que foi um aspeto positivo para nós. Sem dúvida superou as nossas expetativas e recomendo esta companhia a todas as pessoas que queiram visitar a ilha de São Miguel e que precisem de um meio de transporte.
