Great business to work with. We had a shuttle to our hotel, so needed the rental car pick up downtown. I picked Imazo, because it was only a 10 minute walk from our hotel. It was a nice surprise when Rui delivered the car to the front of the hotel. The car was perfect for our journeys around the Island and to the golf courses. Our tour company rented us a car from Imazo during a recent trip to Ponta Delgada in the Azores. This company does not have a counter at the airport so it was a bit of a walk to pick up the car from the terminal. However, the company rep was waiting for us when we got there and was very helpful. Pick up was very easy and straight forward. Car worked great throughout the trip and drop off was no problem.
Great little car and reasonable price! Pick-up and drop-off were a breeze. A little cozy and under-powered on the hills with four people, but it got us where we were going. Recommended!
Excellent service and prices. They delivered the car at my hotel, and picked it up. They were flexible with the pick up time. They explained me exactly how the contract works. I highly recommend them.
Very pleasant experience! Clean and brand new car with all the options you could ever need. Check-in was quick and smooth, followed by an explanation of all the car's features and safety rules. Really appreciated Rui, who was super friendly and precise! I really recommend Imazo for the high quality service provided.
Excellent service. Seamless process. Very professional and polite staff. Will definitely rent a car from Imazo next time we are here. It will be better when they have an office by the airport but even without that, they bring the car to you when you need it.

New cars, good service, and reasonable prices. If you don't have a credit card, just choose full insurance. It's possible to pick up a car in the city center or airport and return it to another place. But check the address, because the information on the website is not accurate.
Car was in perfect shape and new. They bought us the car to our hotel and we signed the contract. They picked up the car from the hotel.

Todo perfecto. El coche se recoge en el parking 6 (P6). Allí firmas todas la documentación y ya te puedes ir. El coche responde bien.

Empresa de vehículos que es mejor no contratar para un coche de alquiler, al principio todo es bonito y parece perfecto. Te dice todos los golpes/ arañazos que tiene el coche y claramente confías en ellos. Pero a la hora de devolver el coche se saca de la manga arañazos los cuales no te dijo y que por supuesto yo, no hice. Pues toma 125 de recargo por un arañazo en el retrovisor en la parte de abajo. Estás atento a todo, es preferible otra compañía. Que no se rían de vosotros como lo han hecho de mí y mi pareja.

A well-structured website, adequate information about the rental conditions, also in English!!!(Many rental companies do not pay enough attention to the English version.) The Gold insurance is a good choice: no excess, no deposit. Fast pick-up/ drop-off processes, correct financial settlement. The car we received (KIA Rio) was relatively new and served well the discovery of the island.
The rented car fully met the agreed parameters, it was almost new. The staff was nice, flexible and punctual.
Personale molto gentile e professionale, auto perfettamente pulita con pochi chilometri di strada quasi nuova praticamente, velocità nelle fasi di check-in e check out . La nostra piccola picanto è stata l auto ideale che ci ha portato dappertutto . Società di autonoleggio consigliata !

Grazie per lottimo servizio. Lauto era nuova, perfetta. La ragazza che ci ha consegnato lauto al P6 dell aeroporto è stata molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha fatto un cambio autista senza problemi. Al rientro per la consegna dellauto avevamo appuntamento per le 13,00 e si è presentata puntualissima!! Molto cortese e gentile
We had a great experience renting with Imazo at Ponta Delgada Airport this past week. We were met at the rental lot when our flight arrived by an Imazo agent who completed our rental agreement and inspected the car with us. She was at the lot when we returned the car a week later. She was very efficient and very helpful. I would highly recommend Imazo for the price and ease of pick up and drop off. There is a short walk from the terminal to the rental lot.

Great card and service with pick up and drop off from airport. Carolina and Huey were very helpful and efficient, with a repeat booking on return from Faial and a very early 5am drop off.

Very simple process to get the car and a solid walk around. The Kia was acceptable for the roads there. No issues with the process and Rui set us up nicely.
Imazo (San Miguel Airport) was an excellent company which with to deal at station 6 and was booked by Getaways Azores. Rui and Carolina allowed us to follow them to help us find our hotel tunnel entrance which would have been very difficult as a newcomer. We are seniors and they gave us very personalized service so that we were comfortable driving the KIA. Rui delivered a paper copy of our contract to our hotel because we only travel with a mini iphone screen. I highly recommend these two representatives of Imazo San Miguel.

Premier jour : Numero de telephone sur la reservation est une boite vocale. Un agent touristique de laeroport nous renseigne ou aller apres deux appels chez Imazo .Arrivé au P6 , Rui nous montre la voiture , le niveau dessence legerement en dessous de full et deux egratinures sur la carrosserie , mais sans importance . Tout est ok , il nous montre meme le chemin jusqua lhotel , tres apprecié . Dernier jour : Je remplis le reservoir , deux trois clics dela pompe indique quue cest plein..... Apparement non , Rui , le manager , me dit que cela coute 34 Euros pour cela , et 250 Euros pour des griffes en dessous du spoiler avant de lauto .....Ouf ! Je quitte le stationnement pour remplir le reservoir correctement , 3, 49 litres dont 1/2 litre deborde. Alors 250 Euros sont debité de ma carte de credit , toujours pas reçu de facture de Rui qui ma assuré que cetait envoyé par mail. Tout le sejour etait parfait , les gens et les paysages nous ont laissés de beaux souvenirs de lile , juste cette derniere experience un peu amer.
Great little rental car - had a KIA. Could have had a little more guts but I wasnt really in any rush getting anywhere - and the hills (mountains) are pretty big. Haha Very easy company to deal with. I would recommend this company. Their agent was very professional.
Riu the agent was very helpful and thorough. The car was clean, comfortable and excellent with gps that connected to our android. Make sure you walk to parking lot 6 to find the office. Other companies didnt seem to know where they were.

We had a wonderful holiday on Sao Miguel and our Imazo rental car was our constant companion. There are some crazy streets and roads on the island so you need a good car. The car was well prepared, the staff was friendly and helpful with absolutely no sales pressure. Nice car, friendly staff... really the best. Well be back!
Everything was great except for... a handle for the back door that broke while my wife opened the door. Poor design and quite a strange thing to happen on a new car with 2,500kms on board.. not excluding the possibility that the previous customer might have broke it and did not report it. Thinking I am doing the right thing, I kept the components in the car and returned them at the end of the week and assuming this will be a warranty repair/free of charge by Kia and the car rental will appreciate the fact I did not try to hide it and pass the problem onto the next customer. Ended up with a 75Euros charge and an unpleasant conversation with the person renting it. I will be back in Sao Miguel, it is a piece of haven, but will not rent Kia again and definitely not from IMAZO. Will pursue a claim with the credit card insurance.

Empresa de aluguel de carros local perfeita. Processo de aluguer simples e rápido, preços simples e transparentes. Você não quer ter o seguro completo? Não tem problema, eles apenas bloqueiam o depósito no seu cartão e você é responsável pelos danos. Se alguma vez estiver no São Miguel a precisar de carro, vou reservar com eles . Recomendo
We rented a car with IMAZO rent a car. The manager/owner is so helpfull. We got a brand new car at a very good rate. The communication was perfect! He responded immediately to emails and phone calls. The service was perfect, I would rent my car there again in a moment. Highly recommended! Thank you for the great service
We had an excellent experience with Imazo Rent a Car and will rent with them again in July. The vehicle was clean and perfect for our situation since we were traveling with 9 people. All in all, a very convenient way to rent a vehicle.

Despite being a short walk towards the end of the airport, everything went relatively seamless. Communication on drop-off could be a little more clear but I could easily put that down to it being our first trip to the Azores. Car was new and clean with no issue receiving an immediate credit for the deposit.

Alquilamos un coche durante 8 días en IMAZO RENT A CAR para recorrer la isla de São Miguel. Desde el primer momento la comunicación con ellos fué muy ágil, nos respondieron enseguida a nuestra solicitud, e incluso, nos hicieron el favor de acercarnos el coche hasta el hotel donde nos hospedábamos. El coche nos lo entregaron limpio y tenía muy pocos KMs.Sin duda lo recomendaría...es una buena elección!! Gracias por todo Rui y hasta la próxima!
Overall a good experience. There was a delay in finding the car in P6, which is the farthest carpark. Rui was very pleasant. The car was new and very clean. Drop-off at pre-arranged time was fast and efficient. I would rent from Imazo again.
