Micauto rent-a-car (Office only) em Ponta Delgada

Hat alles perfekt geklappt , Mitarbeiterin war sehr hilfsbereit und hat perfekt englisch gesprochen , Auto war völlig ok , Abwicklung alles sehr professionell und für den Kunden klar verständlich. Man bekommt alle Details des Vertrages per Mail ( oder wenn gewünscht auch ausgedruckt ). Hatte zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl, übers Ohr gehauen zu werden oder es wurde zu keinem Zeitpunkt versucht, mir ein größeres, dann natürlich teureres Auto, zu vermieten. Wäre auch, nur mal als Tip für alle , ein Fehler auf den Azoren, in den Städten bzw kleinen Dörfern sehr enge Straßen. Also KEIN breites großes Auto mieten . Kaution für Benzin wird im Vorfeld 150.- Euro abgezogen von Kreditkarte, habe ( nachdem ich natürlich das Auto vollgetankt zurückgeben habe ) zwei Tag später die 150.- Euro wieder von der Kreditkarten - Rechnung weggenommen bekommen und nur die Mietgebühr von 270 - Euro noch drauf , was ja ok ist . Preis finde ich persönlich in Ordnung für 6 Tage - Auto war relativ neu und völlig in Ordnung.

Fizemos a reserva pelo booking e o levantamento correu bem. No entanto, quando começamos a andar com o carro, percebemos que este travava mal e, pelo barulho, era notório que os calços estavam gastos. Ligamos para a Micauto, que se disponibilizou a trocar o carro mas não ofereceu qualquer apoio na viagem de regresso à oficina. Inclusive, quando chegamos, tivemos de voltar a sair com o carro para atestar o depósito. Posteriormente, quando mencionamos a gravidade da situação, responderam-nos que já não era a primeira vez que acontecia e que estes casos era alertados mas nem sempre revistos. Em nenhum momento, mostraram empatia pela situação e pelo tempo que tivemos de dispender das férias para ir trocar o carro. Os carros deveriam ser revistos com uma maior periocidade para evitar estas situações.

Dont believe the positive reviews. This is the worst car rental company ever with run down, smelly cars with 100k or more than 200k kilometers delivered and returned not even at the airport but at a warehouse several kilometers away. Rental companies may be greedy or unpleasant but this is something else. Stay away.

Parfait rien à redire, tout s est très bien passé. Petite frayeur à notre arrivée à l aéroport avec du retard et que nous n arrivions pas à joindre le centre mais finalement tout s est bien passé. Petit tips : il faut patienter sous les drapeaux de l aéroport au niveau du parking pour attendre la navette , ça peut servir

I sincerely recommend it, a very good rental experience. Good contact, good English. When there are problems, they calmly and patiently answer questions and explain processes. On the plus side, very good English. I recommend.

Make sure to take pictures of car especially wheels as they ask if you made a new scratch.

Personale molto disponibile e gentile. Auto già un po graffiata, ma in ottime condizioni e con pochi chilometri. Prezzo decisamente conveniente rispetto a tutte le altre compagnie di noleggio.

Il noleggio non è direttamente in aeroporto ma una navetta ti porta negli uffici che sono a circa 5 minuti di distanza. Personale gentile, al ritiro molto veloci. Alla riconsegna avevamo l aereo molto presto alla mattina. Siamo arrivati verso le 5 di mattina e c era solo una persona che ritirava le auto e portava i clienti in aeroporto quindi abbiamo dovuto attendere un 15 minuti prima che arrivasse. Per noi non è stato un problema, basta regolarsi con i tempi. Assolutamente consigliato!

Excellente prestation. Aucun soucis, excellent accueil, javais réservé une Opel Astra et jai eu une Opel Astra Break, ce qui était un grand plus pour ranger les valises de 4 personnes. Je nai pas pris dassurance supplémentaire autre que celle commandé en ligne, la voiture était impeccable et le retour sest très bien passé malgré le fait que nous y étions à 5h00 du matin : la dépose de la voiture a duré 2 minutes et le transport vers laéroport a été immédiat. Félicitations pour le niveau danglais des personnes de laccueil et un grand merci pour leur professionnalisme.

Pickup and drop was fine. Car was ok but AC was defective it worked sometimes but didn t work most of the time only hot air came from the vent. Rest everything was fine.

Consigliatissimo!! Abbiamo noleggiato una Panda 4x4 per 8 giorni, tutto perfetto!! Abbiamo avuto un problema con la nostra carta di credito e abbiamo potuto pagare senza problemi con una carta di debito, al momento del noleggio abbiamo anche prolungato dalla sera alla mattina presto senza costi aggiuntivi. Il servizio di transfer dall aeroporto è velocissimo e super efficiente (anche alle 5 del mattino!!), il driver ci ha anche dato consigli molto utili per la nostra vacanza nei due minuti di viaggio!!! Tutto il personale molto gentile e disponibile, ci hanno sbloccato il deposito in 3 giorni. Davvero consigliati! Bravi!!!

I have not used them, but being misleaded - saying they rent motorcycles, then a scooter comes up which is like saying a kid you get an enduro, then show up with a mountain bike... - and the fact that their contact page on the website does not work, pretty suspicious about the possible service quality.

For the first time in my life I didnt have any kind of problem with a car rental desk. In the past I have always had very small to big problems. In this case none so I can only congratulate Micauto and his team. Thank you

Unkomplizierte und sehr freundliche Autovermietung. Großer Vorteil für uns war, dass man sowohl mit Kredit- als auch mit Debitkarte die Kaution hinterlegen konnte. Übergabe des Autos verlief problemlos. Kommunikation über bereits vorhandene Schäden am Fahrzeug war sehr transparent. Flughafentransfer top. Wenn wir wieder auf die Azoren kommen, wissen wir schon von wem wir uns einen Mietwagen besorgen.

Vorige week een auto gehuurd die we van te voren geboekt hadden via de site. Ze zijn niet duur en hebben ook veel kleinere autos die handig zijn in de kleine straatjes van Ponta Delgada. Ik was bij aankomst mijn bevestiging vergeten maar dat was geen probleem. We hebben de auto op de locatie bij de boulevard opgehaald en ook weer ingeleverd. Mooi dat ze van te voren al alle gebreken noteren en fotograferen. Maar we hadden een volle schade verzekering genomen, dus dat was geen probleem. 150 euro borg voor de benzine en die kreeg ik al meteen teruggeboekt bij inleveren ( volle tank). Een betrouwbare verhuurder dus.

Ida e volta ao aeroporto foi bom . O restante , pagar 120 euros de seguro por 3 dias de aluguer do carro, ou deixar 2600 euros de caução é ridiculo e uma exploração , até parece que se foge da ilha com o carro . Uma coisa que nunca mais vou repetir. Ainda por cima com um seguro que paguei antes da viagem e estava no voucher e os Srs . não reconheceram o mesmo. Pudera , apanham um tipo com as calças nas mãos, e é do estilo , ou queres ou andas a pé. Nunca mais.

Booking was ok. But they had problems with sending out emails during the hand over - they said we are the Problem (Thats not customer centricic at all) The car differs from the one we booked. To Long and to low for the Streets of Sao Miguel. The AC was defect. Car wasnt clean. Motor Control Light was on all the time. Tank wasnt Full, as we booked it. They wanted to charge us 25 for a 1 Hour Delay in bringing the car back - unfair and not correct. Overall it was ok, but I wouldn t Book again

Sehr nettes Personal und kurze Wartezeit. Für die Insel hatten wir (eigentlich wegen dem Preis) einen Kleinstwagen gebucht. Vor Ort waren wir dann auch sehr froh über diese Entscheidung aufgrund der sehr engen Straßen.

Fizemos a reserva por telefone e pagamos tudo (aluguer e seguro) no dia do levantamento, sem qualquer problema. Alugamos um fiat panda, perfeito para ver tudo o que queríamos em qualquer ponto da ilha e nunca desapontou. Por causa do voo tivemos de esperar um pouco no aeroporto pelo shuttle porque ainda era cedo e estavam fechados, mas mal abriram vieram buscar-nos. Super atenciosos, a repetir numa próxima visita à ilha.

Easy and friendly car rental service. The pickup process was fast and the car was great and got us around the entire island. No issues or worries with insurance or drop-off.

We saw this rental service on a blog and it turned out to be perfect. No issues with pick, insurance or drop-off. I also left a lot of things in the glove compartment. They were so nice and mailed it to me. Angels!

Habe das Auto online mit kpl. Versicherung gebucht, was sehr gut funktionierte. Die Übernahme im Office war problemlos und das Auto war im guten Zustand. Die Rückgabe erfolgte ebenfalls ohne Probleme und ich kann die Autovermietung nur weiterempfehlen.

Péssima experiência. É indicado que a recolha do carro é no aeroporto e não é real. O carro tem que ser recolhido num armazém da Micauto afastado do aeroporto. Também não recebemos o carro que reservamos. Perdemos demasiado tempo. Não recomendo a ninguém.

Stay Away! Pre-Booked a car without receiving it. They just rented it someone else even though we already paid for it. Wasted half our day by finding an available car.. Micauto did not provide an alternative or any kind of consumption.

I have been waiting at the airport for close to an hour for the shuttle to arrive despite they made it sound like once we arrive, we would have been met at arrival. We even found someone to help us call twice to inquire where the shuttle is and is still taking forever for it to get here.

Je recommande à 100% Le véhicule était comme neuf et disposait de pas mal doptions pour une conduite agréable et sécure. Le jeune homme qui sest occupé de nous était incroyable (gentil, agréable, sérieux et très professionnel). Nous avions peur vu des expériences passées quon puisse se faire avoir avec létat des lieux mais pas du tout, ils sont très corrects. De plus, ils viennent nous chercher et nous reconduire à laéroport dans les temps prévus ce qui est un beau gain de temps et dargent (pas besoin dun taxi) Et cerise sur le gâteau, javais oublié mon gsm dans la voiture de location et le jeune homme est revenu dans laéroport juste pour me le déposer.

Car drives good, really good.

Picked us up at the airport next to the flags in like 15 min after I called. They took care of us as first ones so we didnt have to wait almost at all. I was able to pay for the deposit with a debit card by booking the car with full insurance on DiscoverCars. Very good price on discover cars. Car didnt have any issues and all the scratches were accounted for in the check in report. They forgot to put missing wiper into the report, but after I said so, they put it in. I It was a small car, more than enough for 2 people, good for narrow Ponta Delgada streets. New looking car. Harder to go up the hill. They didnt tell us what fuel it needs but it was written on the fuel tank. We drove 600 km with it and paid 60 for fuel. Drop off was fast and easy. We dropped off the car in the city. They have 2-3 parallel parking spots for their customers right in front of their office. Deposit was reverted two days after drop off.

Reportei a situação e foi-me dado outro carro logo de seguida. Tirando isso, sem qualquer outro incidente a registar. Foi uma boa experiência

staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. they also have whatsapp. pick up from sao miguel ponta delgada city center was simple, and i was able to drop off the car directly at their office near the airport. they also drove us back to city center after drop off which was a nice bonus. the car itself was in good condition (other than previous aesthetic damages) and performed well. during the pick up inspection always look under the bumpers as there will likely be scratches (due to the nature of the roads and curb heights) so they can record it.

We found this company so helpful and friendly, and good with practical arrangements and flexibility. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

A ver cómo lo explico: El coche tenía más de 143000 km. Nunca había alquilado un coche tan viejo. Estaba sucio por dentro con cosas del usuario anterior. Tenía miles de arañazos y golpes. La apertura automática con la llave no funcionaba. Saltó el aviso de nivel de aceite al poco de cogerlo. El embrague está en las últimas. Recogen en el aeropuerto al conductor, te llevan a un polígono cercano y luego debes volver a por la familia al aeropuerto. En fin, 1200 por una semana creo que se merecía algo mejor. Te recogen en el aeropuerto y te llevan a un polígono a recoger el coche y luego tienes que volver al aeropuerto a por la familia.

Complessivamente bene. Ho preso a noleggio uno scooter per un giorno senza riscontrare problemi. Lunica anomalia, frequente con le regole del full full, è che nonostante lo scooter segnasse il pieno di benzina ne mancava almeno un litro e mezzo.

Very professional, although the car pick up is not at the airport, they collect you with a shuttle bus and were very helpful. Also quick responses to phone calls which is great.

Bon rapport qualité prix et voiture de bonne qualité (en classe éco nous avons eu une Fiat Tipo Break). Bon à savoir pour s organiser, ils ne sont pas à l aéroport, mais à quelques kilomètres, une navette assure le transfert. Il faut prévoir le temps nécessaire en cas de vol.

I rented a motorized scooter for 2 days. On the second day it stopped working. The engine would cut whenever I tried to accelerate. I had to walk 2 hours back as it broke down on the way to sete cidades. I explained the situation and I asked for a refund from the desk. They told me they wouldn t be refunding any amount as it was non refundable. Even with these extenuating circumstances. This essentially ruined my last day on vacation. Poor customer service. Do not rent with this company unless you want to be treated poorly as a customer. With so many other options nearby go with someone else. They did give me a ride to the airport though which was nice

We were very happy with the whole renting experience. The transfer to and from the airport was quick and painless, and staff helpful and courteous.

Muy buena experiencia. Reservamos a través de Booking y pagamos 323 EUR por 7 días completos, cobertura premium incluida. Reservamos un Citroën C1 o similar y nos dieron un Fiat Panda que no tenía mas de 50 000 kilómetros. Llenamos el depósito dos veces por 110 EUR los 7 días y no tuvimos absolutamente ningún problema. Atención rápida y entrega y devolución del coche rapidísima. La oficina está en un polígono a 5 minutos del aeropuerto, pero te recogen y te llevan ellos. Para la recogida, tendréis que llamarles y os pasan a recoger en 5 minutos en el mismo aeropuerto. El depósito es de 1150 EUR, pero nos hicieron la devolución de manera inmediata, prácticamente a los 30 minutos de dejar el coche. Nuestra experiencia con Micauto ha sido muy buena y lo recomiendo sin duda.

É um gosto lidar com empresas e pessoas que tratam os seus clientes com tanta amabilidade. Há vários anos que alugo viaturas com a Micauto em São Miguel e na Terceira e a minha experiência é fantástica e irrepreensível em todos os momentos, desde a reserva por telefone/email, levantamento e até à devolução da viatura nos aeroportos de Ponta Delgada e Lajes. Quase todas as minhas viagens aos Açores começam e acabam convosco, e penso que também por isso são excelentes as minhas recordações. Parabéns e obrigado.

En primer lugar el personal muy amable i professional. Lo malo es que, i desgraciadamente es así, como en todas las compañías de alquiler de coches te van a exprimir cada céntimo que tengas. Esta vez alquilamos un vehículo por 11 días i pagamos el precio que tocaba y pusimos la fianza que tocaba, al momento de devolver el vehículo todo bien hasta que veo que de los 1150 que te hacen poner de fianza se te cobran 150 de impuestos locales y gestiones administrativasTodo esto ya estaba advertido antes, lo que pasa es que juegan con la letra pequeña i al momento de alquilar un vehículo te escriben las condiciones de tal manera que sea más difícil de comprender (cantidades immensas de texto, etc.), que cuando ya te han sacado la pasta i te pasan el recibo ahí las condiciones escritas se entienden perfectamente. Es una verdadera lástima que el problema de cada viaje sea el mismo, las compañías de alquiler de vehículos, de una manera u otra intentaran sacarte toda la pasta possible aunque sea rastrero y que cada vez que vas a alquilar un coche tienes que iniciar una investigación a lo CSI para no llevarte ninguna sorpresa, porque en el 90% de los casos, te van a estafar.

We totally recommend this place to rent a car. The service was quick and we could get the car right away, as soon as we got to their office. The car was a different one that the one we had in our confirmation, however it worked perfectly. Expect to get a car with small damages or visible scratches since the roads around are very tight and narrow, so small accidents can happen. The staff was very friendly.

We booked online and rented the car for 5 days. Pick up and drop off from the office in Ponta Delgada went smoothly. The interior of the car was clean. Customer service replies via email were prompt also.

Improper parking in taxi and loading and unloading areas. This situation is repeated daily. These vehicles remain here for long periods of the day, as if it were their own parking lot.

AVOID THEM - Worst car rental ever Were experienced travellers but never had such a BAD car rental experience. Reason: (a) office closed, causing us extra costs , which they dont want to reimburse (b) upgraded car was terrible (a) our plane couldnt land due to fog. We couldnt inform them cause theres no service in the air (obviously). When we arrived, Micauto was closed, while ALL other companies were still open & waiting for the last flight of the day. Micauto simply closed without informing us, leaving us alone at the airport and having to pay 2x taxi (at night + next morning to get our car). They refused to pay back the taxi, even though THEY created extra costs for us, by closing too early. (b) the car didnt have enough horse power to drive on hills = not at all suited for the island...

They bring the car to the city office even when we had booked pick up at the airport. No husdle with debit card or upselling overpriced insurance. The only set back is that their airport office isnt really at the airport but in proximity. Still they will give you a ride there.

Great experience with Micauto. The car we got was a bit older but perfectly functional. Pickup and drop off shuttle to airport was painless and efficient. Staff was super friendly. Would absolutely use them again! Also, we didn t realize this, likely because we booked through Chase, but they don t have a location at the airport. Call them and they will pick you up from the airport.

Very good experience. Everyone we encountered was friendly during the booking, confirmation, pick-up, and drop-off processes. The car was in good condition. They are not located at the airport, but pick-up and drop off were both fairly easy.

Cominciamo con il dire che mi sono trovato benissimo. Lunica piccola pecca è che lufficio non si trova in aeroporto, ma ti vengono a prendere in pochissimo tempo. Auto perfetta, pulita e quasi nuova. Personale super gentile. Sicuramente la consiglierò!

Great and seamless experience with Micauto with great prices. Although the rental isnt located right at the airport, theyre nearby and was quick to pick us up to the location. We got one of the newer fleets and returning the car and getting dropped back off at the airport was quick and easy too. Overall great experience and would recommend!

Location une semaine. Un souci de boite de vitesse a bloqué la voiture assez loin de Ponta Delgada. Téléphone, 40 plus tard, deux personnes sont là avec une nouvelle voiture, 50 plus tard on continue notre voyage. Bref, SAV impeccable. Petit plus, lors du retour à laéroport, je perd mes papiers dans la voiture et men aperçois à lenregistrement. Coup de téléphone, et 10 plus tard, une voiture de Micauto me les rapporte. Donc un service sur lequel on peut compter. Merci à eux.

Rented in mid-Sept, 2022. Thought the vehicle was at the Airport, but was 15 minutes away. Staff friendly, but rental was a complete & total dud. No pep to get up hills! I know how to drive a standard - this was the worst rental. Drop off was incredibly crazy. Drove to the Airport to drop off at Parking Lot 5, but again, no rental office. Good thing the driver was behind me. I called, he told me to follow him. 15 minutes later we were at the warehouse, along with 5 other people dropping off their vehicles. Poor guy was all by himself. Very friendly and helpful, but poorly run organization. Do NOT rent from Micauto, unless you want a unpredictable experience!

No hassle shuttle pickup from the airport to their offsite office and car warehouse just minutes from Ponta Delgato airport . No frills operation just reliable transportation and customer service .

Reserva efetuada no site Rentalcars, não consegui encontrar o colaborar no aeroporto e não tinha como. Entretanto, na entrega houve a confusão do depósito (o carro não me tinha sido entregue cheio, quw consegui resolver). Processo de recolha e entrega no aeroporto carece de grandes melhorias.

Do 5 stelle perché ci siamo trovati molto bene con questa compagnia. Noleggio per 10 giorni tutto è filato liscio. Ti prendono allarrivo e ti riportano in aeroporto in perfetto orario. Il ragazzo che ci ha serviti è stato veramente gentile oltre ad essere molto simpatico. Consiglio questo noleggio auto. Grazie di tutto.

A empresa deveria de receber os veículo no mesmo local da entrega. No meu caso, o veículo foi levantado em Ponta Delgada (em loja) e tive de entreguar em Relvas (armazém). Com isto tive mais despesas do que estava à espera e tive de apanhar um taxi para me deslocar até a Ponta Delgada novamente, o que não faz sentido. Além do mais, a micauto apenas está identificada num unico local no googlemaps, o local da loja, o que leva a prever que só existe um local para levantar/entregar. A Micauto deve ser mais clara neste ponto, ou então deverá criar condições para que o serviço comece e termine no mesmo local.

Uma equipa bastante simpática, pontuais e predispostos a ajudarem, foi muito bom a receção com um belo transfer do aeroporto até a recolha da viatura e o mesmo a entrega. Não há muito a dizer para além de elogios sobre o profissionalismo.

A quem alugar viatura com esta empresa aconselho a fazerem uma revisão geral ao carro e a tirar fotos no momento da recolha do mesmo, para que no momento da devolução tenham comprovativos do estado do carro. Menciono este aspecto porque no meu caso não aconteceu e é uma forma do Cliente se salvaguardar de quaisquer situação no futuro. No geral, não aconselho.

Al principio dude un poco por los comentarios que leí sobre esta empresa pero nada, TODO PERFECTO! Reserve el coche un mes y medio o así antes d las vacaciones y el día que llegué al aeropuerto nos vinieron a buscar y a por el coche. No hace falta deposito es algo que me gustó ya q en otras empresas te piden un dineral!! Y muy bien de precio. El día de la vuelta más de lo mismo. Nosotros le dimos un manguerazo al coche ya que del barro y la lluvia estaba fatal y aunq lo alquiles que menos que devolverlo en condiciones.

First, the staff were lovely, and I dont think its their fault at all. I reserved a VW UP! on rentalcars.com for ~$700 for a week. Ridiculously more than Im used to, but the pandemic has left the island devoid of rental cars. I got there, and got a citroen something or other. The date on the dash screen read february 2011. I rented it in 2021. There was a hole worn in the floor mat under the gas pedal. The AC didnt work (the weather was blazing sun and 80 degrees all week). the steering was shot. One of the hatchback hydraulic arms was missing hardware and fell off every time we opened the trunk. To add insult to injury they made me pay $10 a day for insurance, on top of what I paid through Rentalcars.com to keep my liability to $2000 for any damage. The car wasnt worth $2000! Just offensive. Ill stick to Ilha Verde in future.

Reservei um carro pelo site em Ponta Delgada que mostrava disponibilidade. Depois fui a loja para confirmar e afinal não havia disponibilidade. Sugestão: melhorar o site pois é enganador.

Very desorganized company! We rented a car and it was promissed for the staff that at 5 am we could deliver ther car so it could be possible catch our flight at 5.50am. Believe or not: at 5.20 am the staff responsible to inspect the car was not there. After loads of calls without answer from them, we had and (other people at the same situation) to deposit the keys under the door (otherwise we could lost our flights). It seems that keep their promisses made with their costumers and being on time are not their priority.

Super irresponsible. I almost lost my return flight to Lisbon due to their irresponsibility. I was granted that I could deliver the car at 5 AM (the start of their shift) in their warehouse near the airport and I could easily get my flight which was at 5h55 AM. I was at the warehouse since 4h40. I waited until 5h30. I had to take a taxi not to lose my flight. NOBODY WAS THERE. Only me and another person who had rented a car as well and was in the same situation as me. We tried to called their phone numbers (which supposedly were 24/7), and NO ONE TOOK THE CALLS. We left the keys under their gate (they didnt even had a postmail box) and we had to call for an urgent taxi to reach the airport on time. This is totally irresponsible, very disorganized and I wish for no more. Do not rent here, otherwise you might loose your flight due to their bad behavior towards their clients.

Our experience was absolutely positive. The company representative gave us a call upon our arrival to the airport. The car was better, than we booked Our departure was early morning and we had to drop the car at 5 am. There were absolutely no doubts regarding our early drop. The guy (I havent asked for his name, unfortunately ) met us, we left a car and he took us to the airport. Perfect timing. Good service!

No problems, a little tired car (Opel Corsa, 5 years, 80k kilometres) but was running fine. Happy with the result given the price. Helpful and friendly staff. We picked up the car in the town centre and returned it in some area near the airport - and were transferred to the airport itself.

Auto ist super , leider wird für alles Geld berechnet und die Versicherung für 5 Euro ist mit Selbstbeteiligung. Jeder km wird berechnet d.h 0,22 Cent pro km

Die Übernahme verlief problemlos, leider war das Auto aber nicht sauber. Die Rückgabe war nicht zufriedenstellend. Zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt war kein Angestellter von Micauto vor Ort. Erst nach einem Telefonanruf und mit 30-minütiger Verspätung ist jemand gekommen. In der Folge waren wir extrem spät beim Check-in und erhielten nur noch verstreute Einzelplätze für den Rückflug.

We booked online months before our trip to Sao Miguel so we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived. The shuttle was not there when we landed HOWEVER (I can t stress this point enough) we grabbed airport WiFi and sent them an email stating we arrived and they responded immediately and said we are on our way and arrived a few minutes later. Good communication makes all the difference and we were very pleased with our rental experience. The car was great (struggled a bit on some steep sao Miguel hills, but that s part of the fun!) and the price was very reasonable. 10 euro total for a second driver, that s cheap! And Thanks guys for allowing us to drop off the car so early, we will recommend MicAuto if we have friends that come to sao miguel!

Como se costuma dizer o primeiro carro foi mau o segundo ainda pior, no primeiro carro tive de ir atestar os pneus por duas vezes e os sensores sempre com erro, não confiando fui fazer a troca até aqui tudo bem, fizeram troca de carro por outro do mesmo modelo mas mais velhinho, por mim sem problema, só que não me apercebendo este fazia uma chiadeira quando se travava que ficava por muito tempo e quando de fazia marcha a trás paracia que o carro de ia desmanchar, foi muito mau, tive umas ferias na ilha muito boas e alegres mas tive azar com os carros foi o ponto negativo e é aquela experiência negativa que não queremos ter. Vamos para ter férias descansadas e desfrutar e não para andar a fazer manutenção aos carros de aluguer. Estava a esquecer os pneus do segundo carro como um problema não vem só estes apresentam demasiado desgaste para estarem em circulação. Atendimento dos colaboradores a minha avaliação é boa nos carros é péssima

Tomadura de pelo absoluta. Lo contratas por Internet pero luego te quieren cobrar por todo, incluso por cosas que ya habíamos pagado, como gps, conductor adicional.... No tienen oficina en Aeropuerto y no te informan de ello!!! Retienen 1000 sin avisar!! OJO Y AVISO A NAVEGANTES.

Er was niemand op het vliegveld om ons op te wachten. Na overal vragen en meerdere telefoonnummers te bellen eindelijk iemand aan de telefoon en na een tijdje iemand om ons op te halen. We hadden een kleine auto gehuurd en kregen een upgrade!!! Een auto van 5 jaar oud, onder de deukjes en krassen en vreselijk vies! Het afval van de vorige verhuur zat nog in de zijvakken. De overname bij de afgifte ging wel soepel. Maar toch absoluut niet aan te raden!

We had reserved a car (or so we thought) from Micauto, Ponta Delgada for 7 days at 40 per day and had received a reservation number from them. When we went to collect the car we were told they had no car available and they had sent an e-mail to that effect, which we never got. The lady handed us one of their leaflets and suggested that WE phone Them. After some consultation she discovered they did have a car available, but it would be 60 per day. Needless to say we declined. We subsequently went with Hertz who were super to deal with.

Booked on priceline. Wasnt told when booking that rental car office isnt at airport. Van picks you up at airport and takes you to the office about 5 min drive. You return car to the same office and they drive you to airport. Driver wasnt there immediately when our flight we arrived so we were a bit lost but he arrived after about 5-10 mins. Car was clean and fine, nothing fancy. Customer service was efficient and good. Was also the cheapest we found, though any rental car in the Azores is expensive. Be mindful that a 2000 euro hold is required to be put on your credit card unless you purchase their insurance.

We used a car last week after we booked everything in advance and we were very happy with wat we got. (price/quality is very good) The driver was waiting for us when we landed at the airport, the shuttle bus took us to the deposit and after a quick explanation of the paper work we got our car. (We booked a Opel Corsa, but got a very good alternative with a Citroen C3) The car worked very good, was very clean when we got it and we didnt have any problems at all driving it around for 7-days, through high and low areas. We could feel that very steep climbs were more of a challenge for the car, but that was to be expected since it wasnt a 4x4. The team of Micauto was very helpful, even when we were confused with the drop off location. We called them and immediately got someone on the phone who helped us. Someone was waiting for us when we returned the car and we got transported back to the airport. tldctr; A very good deal, price/quality wise. Nice staff, will book a car here again when I return to the azores.

The car was great. The pickup from the airport and getting the car was super quick and easy. However, the drop off was awful. We had a flight at 9am and was told 8am would be fine to drop the car off and then they would drive us to the airport as the agency is located about 8 mins drive from the airport. We arrived about 740am just to be safe and no one was there which was fine. And then around 745am the guy working arrived from the airport with 3 new clients that he wanted to check in before he would look at our car and drive us to the airport. By the time 8am arrived, he still had 2 people to check in and told us he would drive us afterwards. After we told him we would miss our flight he just said to leave the keys and take a taxi which we were meant to pay for. Really suggest they get another employee working during peak times instead of just one guy to take care of everything.

Une entreprise très sérieuse ou jai loué un véhicule pour deux jours pour un prix très raisonnable. Accueil courtois et professionnel, le parc automobile est varié. A noter que Micauto ne dispose pas de comptoir à laéroport. Les clients arrivant par avion sont conduits en minibus jusquà lagence située a 1 km de laéroport, où se font les formalités et la prise en charge du véhicule. Pour les retours, après avoir restitué le véhicule à lagence, l employé se charge de conduire le client jusquà laéroport a bord du véhicule restitué. A noter aussi que lors de la réservation en ligne, pour que celle ci soit prise en compte, il faut effectuer un virement bancaire correspondant à 20 % du montant total. Aucun dépôt de garantie nest pris lors de la perception du véhicule. Une entreprise qui maura laissé un bon souvenir, et qui est également présente sur lîle de Terceira.

Reserved a vehicle for 4 days, I had mistakenly reserved a vehicle return time of 3am. Eventually got an agreement to return the vehicle at 9am still on the 4th day. I got charged for it as a fifth day(only had the car for 3.5 days). I gave them 2 stars for the fact that the original scheduled return time was my mistake. Still doesnt make sense why they charge for 6 hours that theyre closed. Returning the vehicle at 3am compared to 9am makes no difference since theres no one there during that time period. Other things to note, the rental location is not at the airport. About a 10 minute drive out to pick up the rental vehicle. Service was a bit rude at pick up, drop off was a bit more congenial.

Reasonable prices with no deposit required. Some work required as we had a rental agreement and there was no-one available at the starting time (rental agreement was for 8am - office did not open until 9am and we were not told about this).

Um Pesadelo. Inacreditável como a TAP a coloca como uma das escolhas rent a car. À chegada a Ponta Delgada não tinham ninguém à espera conforme combinado nem se preocupam em avisar. Depois de esperar 20mins, somos conduzidos ao armazém onde têm os carros. Como chegamos 1 dia depois do previsto, apesar de termos avisado, tiveram de pagar esse dia, o que está ok. O que não souberam explicar é porque um seguro adicional de que sou avisado no local para não ter que pagar franquia de 1000 , tenho de pagar sobre o dia que o carro não foi usado. Entregam-me um Fiat Punto, quando no anúncio e respetivo recibo, surge um Citroen c3. Quando pergunto porque não me da então o Citroen c3 que tinha na garagem, diz-me que esse é de uma categoria superior. Finalmente, entrega o Fiat com o tanque quase na reserva. Enfim, espero pelo menos que a TAP deixe de ter a Micauto como sugestão de rent a car.

Had a great experience with micoauto. They were very quick to respond to any questions I had via email. They were waiting for us at the airport as promised. The rental place was very close to the airport. The driver and the guy who gave us the car were extremely friendly and the car was clean and in good condition and had all the specifics we requested. It was also less expensive than the other companies we compared it to. Would definitely recommend!

I had to wait at the airport over 1/2hr for representative to arrive and I had to call them to come to the airport. Once the staff got there, he had to take my husband off sight to complete paperwork. We had paid for full insurance online, but they dont honor it. Instead we had to leave $1000 deposit. The deal is, if you have damages all fees are paid by you and you will need to get a refund from online Company. They list 24 hr service, but its only for phone service Make sure to allow plenty of time to return the car. I would recommend going the day before or a few hours before your flight. I think Ill use taxis next time.

No recomendado, existen otras opciones más profesionales en el sector. Aunque los precios son más baratos, al final solo te ocasiona problemas. Confirman la reserva del coche pero no dan información de dónde recoger tu coche. Te hacen creer que como otras compañías tienen oficina en el aeropuerto, pero al llegar allí te encuentras que no hay nadie que te atienda. Afirman que aparece en la página web en faq, pero lo normal es que te den ellos la información por adelantado para poder decidir si te interesa esa opción. Llegaron a recogernos con más de media hora de retraso al aeropuerto, después de haber tenido que contactar por teléfono varías veces, es complicado que te cojan el teléfono. La entrega se hizo deprisa y corriendo, apenas hay revisión del vehículo para ver el estado, excasas explicaciones de las coberturas de los seguros. La silla para bebé que nos entregaron estaba sucia. En la entrega todo fue bastante mal también. Al devolver el coche, teniendo en cuenta que tras ello teníamos que coger un avión, no había nadie para la entrega. Tuvimos que esperar media hora, con lo que eso conlleva. Si has tenido algún percance, no tienen ningún listado de precios por daños, y cobrán lo que les parece, hasta varían el precio en el mismo momento. No tiene nada disponible para darte facturas o justificantes de pago, en el que especifique lo que has pagado. En definitiva, si quieres alquilar un coche para disfrutar de la isla hazlo con cualquier otra compañía que seguro que te sale mejor.

Ce loueur n est pas dans l aéroport, ils viennent chercher les clients en minibus. 45 mn d attente tant a l aller qu au retour pour que quelquun nous prenne en charge. C est dommage car le personnel est très sympathique, voiture neuve et propre, liberation de la caution au retour sans soucis.

Locally run car hire company. Friendly and knowledgeable. The cars are of high standard .clean and reliable. Collected from the airport and taken to office to complete paperwork. On return you are taken from office to departures. Would definitely use them again.

Over priced and average cars. I needed to rent an automatic transmission car and this was the only place I could find in the city with one available. I picked it up at 11am and dropped it back at 6pm, having driven 93kms I was charged 77 total! Such a rip off. The automatic transmission was a converted manual so didnt drive well, and windscreen wipers didnt work. I spoke to many other people who rented their car at the airport and paid 40 for a week. I would rent a car at the airport in the future, more convenient and much more affordable.
