Ricardo who works for this company drove me and my friend in one of their taxi - he was such an amazing encounter, really nice, loves his island and telling people about it! I'll definitely get a car from Rent a Car PDL next time I am in Ponta Delgada!
We made a booking with this company ahead of our holiday to Sao Miguel island and despite emailing them 3 times they never replied about our reservation, meaning we had to make a last-minute rental arrangement with another company.
We rented a car for a week at the beggining of June and everything was perfect. Victor and his wife are super friendly, polite and nice people. Victor took us from the airport and rented us Volkswagen Polo. We did not need to leave credit card deposit. The communication was very good and fast, we recommend this rental company.
We rented a car back in October. Everything was great. The person, responsible, was super friendly, always in touch. The communication was very easy. The cars (Volkswagen polo) were in great condition, easy to drive. No deposit needed. If we're ever back to this beautiful island, we will definitely book a car from them again. I already recommended the company to our friends. And I will keep recommending it :)
The best car rental company on the island. Victor and his wife are truly amazing people. I booked the car 3 months in advance and they met me at the airport (I appreciated this punctuality), gave a very nice car at a good price (with no hidden fees). Victor was in touch all my trip and I was so impressed about it. Big companies often ignore you when help is needed asap. I’m so happy with the service and 100% recommend it to everyone. What a great experience! Victor's communication before we arrived was very clear and he was waiting for us in arrivals to take us to the car. Him and his wife were really friendly, gave us ideas for our trip and made a lovely first impression of the island while we did get pick-up. The car was great throughout and the drop-off at the end of our stay was also easy. Very happy to recommend such a lovely local family business.
Excellent service. Hassle free, nice and polite, no trouble at all. while some companies try to find the smallest excuse to keep the deposit when you bring back the car, they barely checked the car after we gave it back. They offered the baby seat for free while some rental companies bill it as much as 15€ per day. The cars were in great condition, clean, recent models. Only positive to tell about them. Would recommend without a doubt!

El mejor precio q encontramos de las 5 islas que visitamos. Nos vinieron a buscar y son muy amables. Los coches son VW POLO en muy buen estado.
Foi uma boa experiência até à hora da entrega. Inicialmente recebemos um Volkswagen Polo de 2017 cujos botões de abertura dos vidros da frente bloquearam 24 horas depois de recebermos o carro não conseguíamos fechar os vidros e as janelas estavam sempre abertas. Ligámos ao Sr. Victor que nos trocou o carro passado uma hora. O segundo carro que recebemos já era mais recente e os botões dos vidros nunca bloquearam. Na hora de entregar o carro, o Sr. Victor pediu-nos 43 pelo arranjo de dois botões de abertura dos vidros, alegando que nós o tínhamos partido. Recomendo as outras pessoas a testaram todos os botões do carro antes de alugarem com esta empresa. A simpatia engana
Íamos dar 5 estrelas, até ao momento da entrega, em que nos foi cobrado dinheiro para o arranjo de algo que já vinha estragado no carro que nos foi entregue inicialmente. Em menos de 24 horas o carro aparentou ter problemas a abrir e fechar os vidros, um dos vidros bloqueou (totalmente aberto) a meio de uma viagem, o que foi muito chato. Vieram entregar-nos outro carro mais recente e que não deu problemas. No entanto, no final cobraram-nos o arranjo do carro inicial.

Reservei carro para 4 dias em S. Miguel. Fiquei muito agradado com o serviço prestado pelo Sr. Vítor e pela sua esposa, que foram sempre muito prestáveis. Um serviço personalizado e sem complicações. Recomendo.

Se potessi darei anche più stelle. Victor e stato gentilissimo nel consegnarci lauto direttamente in hotel. Auto nuova e pulita, presa in 5 minuti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, anche considerando la grande gentilezza e disponibilità del proprietario. Ciao e grazie!

Great company and very friendly couple! No credit card and no deposit required. They picked us from the airport and we could also leave the car at the airport before our flight without charging us more. Always opt for small local businesses instead of big companies that charge you for no reason.

Such a great company. If theres a great car rental company than thats them. Great price, friendly owners, good cars. Not the typcal bureaucratic company as the other big car rental companies. If every car company was like them we would live in a better world. Strongly recommended.
Excellent service et prix très compétitif par rapport aux autres sociétés de location de voitures. Accueil très sympathique à laéroport et exactitude sur lhoraire de rendez-vous. Voiture en excellent état. Tout était parfait lors de notre séjour sur lîle de Sao Miguel.
La communication avec Victor a été effectuée par Email. A lheure dite, il nous attendait à laéroport avec un panneau a notre nom. Prise de la voiture rapide et sans surprise. Au retour, après 12 jours de location, sa femme est venue récupérer la voiture à notre hotel à Ginetes en fin de journée comme prévu. Aucune embrouille, service rapide et efficace, voiture en parfait état (VW Polo). Agence a recommander sans hésitation.
Heel erg aanbevolen. Victor zorgt voor verhuur op maat: data, locatie en andere zaken (zoals kinderzitje). Alles is in principe mogelijk. Scherpe prijs en geen gedoe. Zoals je een auto wilt huren.

This is a local family company with 21 rental cars. They are honest, helpful and easy to deal with. Also their standard insurance only leaves the renter liable for 500, unlike most others, or you can purchase more coverage. If you read the reviews, many other companies stick it to the renter when they return the car, or even weeks later! Price was fair if a small amount higher than the cheapest companies, but without the potential to get screwed. I highly recommend this outfit!

Per me, avendo due bambine piccole, la sicurezza in auto è fondamentale e aver trovato qualcuno che: viene a prenderti in aeroporto con un furgone capiente a sufficienza per 5 persone (più passeggino e diverse valigie) ma soprattutto con già installati dei seggiolini è stato davvero fantastico! La mattina seguente (visto che erano le 23:00) ci ha consegnato lauto direttamente al nostro alloggio dove abbiamo pagato per lintera settimana. Nessuna coda in aeroporto ad aspettare il nostro turno! Grazie Victor per la disponibilità e cordialità, ci sentiamo presto!
