SCAM They will take your money! They will give you a car that is close to breaking down and then charge you 1600 euros when it finally dies.
Wayzor saved our vacation since Thrifty car rental canceled our booking on our arrival. We found Flavio at the desk that was able to offer a last minute solution for us. His professionalism, attention and care were just over standards and he deserves a better recognition for his amazing job. Chek-out procedure was also easy and flawless.
have the following hints for suspicious fraud: The car was delivered without spare tyre. I have never had a rental without spare tyre and usually the company checks at the end the spare tyre to be in the car - possible way for wayzor to make profit if I had not insisted to document it on the contract Damage report was not provided to client- i left contact details both mobile phone and email. For the email, I tried to call and the staff did not manage to spell my email address as it contains my name. Suspicious. Nobody tried to call me and unfortunately my trust in good people on earth was misused. In contrast, it was a huge effort during my precious holiday with my family. The car has plenty of damages - hardly possible to count at check out. Of course I was told to have generated a damage not visible at first sight since it is out of usual view from inspection. My family and an another family know that we have not been driving on steep roads where this damage could have been generated.
No issues with Wayzor! We booked via booking and received an automatic car as requested. The line at the airport did get quite long (after us) but we did our research and got there quickly after landing. We made sure to record a video of the car & the gas gauge with the attendant upon pickup, and returned it with no issues. The car worked out great for us, thanks Wayzor!
!!FRAUD!! Do not book with this company. We received (as booked) a Volkswagen Polo. Unfortunately, this car was full of scratches and defects all around, which already made us suspicious. When returning the car, the employee tried to charge us for a defect which was already documented claiming it got „more severe“. Luckily, we arrived ahead of time. The Man from Wayzor took 20 minutes to call his boss. At the end, when I brought up a lawsuit they agreed to refund the full deposit of 1600€. Never again.
Everything was great! I booked through their email and not actual site. I won’t lie— their website needs some work regarding booking lol. But He gave me my price quotes via email and was very quick to respond. Wayzor had a nice Volkswagen automatic car on reserve for me. The car was in great condition with lots of safety features. MAKE SURE YOU PURCHASE THE EXTRA PROTECTION. it’s worth it. Only held €300 security deposit on my account and released the funds immediately upon return. Customer service throughout is fantastic and would definitely recommend to anyone needing a car for their trip to Sio Miguel.
I also got shaken down by this company when returning my car earlier this month and ended up paying for a couple of blemishes not even the size of the eraser on a pencil. Now I have to make a claim through the insurance company to recover my costs and the irony is that Wayzor will keep the money but won't even bother doing the repairs so that they can charge the next guy who drives the car. I reported them to the Azores tourism office so I hope they're forced to get their act together before I have to go back to the Island.
Efficient and friendly car hire in Azures. Fast pick up and return . Full insurance cover was expensive 150 euros for 7days, but had already bought alternative online excess cover for 30 pound. Car was clean and reliable . Would use again. Note if you get a VW UP ours did not have a usb point in it !!
Slechte ervaring, mindere auto, onterecht geld in rekening gebracht. Weinig betaalopties, waardoor extra (dubbele) verzekering moest afsluiten.
J ai eu un peu peur de réserver suite à la lecture des avis. En revanche, aucun problème pour notre réservation de 10 jours avec remise des clés dans la boîte à clé. Il suffit simplement de prendre soin de la voiture

Alquilamos el carro en menos de 20 minutos, era un coche nuevo y con pocos quilómetros pero tenía algunos detalles estéticos, pero cuando devolvimos el carro (Lavado y aspirado) como corresponde para quedar bien con la empresa ya que el auto lo habíamos ensuciado demasiado, sin embargo al llegar, lo verificaron y me mostraron que ellos ya tenían las fotos de los respectivos detalles del auto y por lo tanto nuestra devolución fue impecable, lo que me da a pensar es que si registran los daños y te muestran sus detalles es por qué son transparentes y no tienen la intención de estafar. Nuestra experiencia es recomendable.
Je recommande vivement cette société et surtout Andreo qui a été très sympathique autant à la prise en charge quau retour javais lavé mon véhicule la veille malheureusement la nuit je métais garé sous un arbre avec des oiseaux qui ont mis de la M.....E partout cétait pas volontaire et ils mont rien dit , le tour du véhicule a été fait à 6h du matin à la restitution et ma caution a été rendu je recommande cette entreprise car je nai vraiment eu aucun souci avec eux au contraire tout sest super bien passé .merci
Very bad experience. I rented a car on August 24 with a very high price Then they charged me 100 Euros for ONE small scratch on a wheel Something like this has never happened to me. Never again that company.

- günstig - kein Anstehen - super Service - tolles Auto mit Carplay - gingen ordentlich mit dem Auto um und mussten so auch keine Makel nachzahlen Das einzige, was verwirrend war, ist die Versicherung, die uns angeboten wurde. Da wir das Auto über eine Vergleichsseite gebucht hatten, hatten wir darüber bereits eine Versicherung abgeschlossen. Der Mitarbeiter bat uns dennoch die hauseigene Versicherung an. Diese lehnten wir ab und damit war es dann auch erledigt. Also kein tatsächlicher Kritikpunkt, aber sollte man wissen.
0 estrellas. Si puedes no contrates con esta agencia. La que está justo al lado en el aeropuerto de Ponta Delgada tiene colas larguísimas...por algo será. Me dieron un Ibiza con tres desperfectos, cuando voy a devolverlo no hay nadie en la oficina exterior, voy al mostrador y como tengo prisa porque pierdo el vuelo el chico (muy agradable, todo hay que decirlo) me contesta que el hará la revisión y me mandará un correo con la devolución de la fianza. Pues aquí está la sorpresa! Me mandan un correo con dos nuevos desperfectos y una factura de 265 euros más....toma ya! El primer rasguño lo puedo asumir porque era en el retrovisor y puede que lo hiciera, el segundo es un picotazo en el para golpes delantero!!! Una piedra tal vez que saltara de la carretera????!!! Pues lo pago yo. SINVERGÜENZAS Muchos años alquilando coches y jamás me ha pasado esto. Además no contestan a nada
J ai eu très peur en lisant les avis qu on m impute des dommages qui ne m étaient pas dus. Et en fait après avoir très bien fait le tour au moment où nous avons pris le véhicule avec l employé de chez wayzor qui a noté absolument tous les défauts du véhicule, nous avons été extrêmement précautionneux avec la voiture. Au retour le check out a été aussi très minutieux mais comme nous avions fait très attention, aucun dégât n était à déplorer. Pour nous donc c est une très bonne expérience car les employés sont très sympa et effectivement les vérifications sont très pointues mais ça nous semble la moindre des choses quand on loue une voiture.
Everything super good! Pickup/delivery was super fast and easy ( first half of June is not yet high season), the new car without any problem ( koda fabia 8000km). Sata delayed our flight by 6 hours and we were able to have the car longer without any additional charge. Very friendly staff
Terrible rental. Charged us 190 for a scratch UNDER the car absolutely impossible to notice at check in. AVOID.
All went well. Car was new and the agents Paola and Andre were honest and helpful. After getting scammed by Magic Island rent a car it was great getting a car here at Wayzor.
Huye lejos de esta compañía!! Te estafan y encima casi perdemos el vuelo por su culpa. Una pena terminar un viaje con una sensación tan desagradable. Cuando vas a retornar el coche, no hay absolutamente nadie en su oficina del parking, mientras en las otras hay varias personas atendiendo. Con lluvia y frío, tienes que llamar para que vengan a atenderte, la misma persona que atiende en la terminal. La gente que llegaba de otras compañías enseguida le atendían y revisaban el coche sin ningún problema , todos felices.Esperamos media hora a que llegara, con gran parsimonia, se dirige a examinar un coche que ya nos dieron con innumerables golpes y roces. Se tomó 10 minutos mirando todo el coche, se notaba de lejos que buscaba algún posible roce del que culpar, tanto es así que le dio dos vueltas al coche, finalmente se fija en el retrovisor que ya estaba lleno de roces y dice que hay una raya nueva que no estaba, se aprovecha que es una zona que en la foto con agua de la lluvia no se aprecia. 1700 de depósito. Es para denunciar a la Policía del aeropuerto pero se aprovechan de que ya has perdido demasiado tiempo allí para coger el vuelo, lo tienen todo estudiado para ejecutar la estafa perfecta. Coge cualquier otra compañía en Ponta Delgada por tu salud mental y tu bolsillo.
Tout sest très bien passé au guichet et à la remise des clés. Personnel poli, donnant beaucoup dexplications. Nous avons utilisé la boîte à clés car nous sommes arrivés à laéroport en dehors des heures douverture. Nous avions réservé une VW polo ou équivalent et avons eu une Skoda Scala très équipée.
Someone drove into the back of our hire car leaving a damaged bumper. We called Wayzor and they dealt with it really well, they left us to enjoy the rest of our holiday, sorted it with the other party s insurance, and returned our whole excess after a week or so. Very good communication throughout.

One of the best car rental experiences I ever had. Very friendly personnel at car pick-up, no unexpected terms and conditions, no attempts to convince me of additional services/insurances, and most importantly: a car in mint condition driving like a charm! I have rented the car from Wayzor in May 2022, with extended insurance via DiscoverCars.
This is the place to rent your car in Sao Miguel. The staff is so friendly and honest. They really go above and beyond to help the customer. I found it a little troublesome to drive a manual transmission through the tiny streets and tight it would be more distracting then its worth, so I gave them a call. They searched and searched to see if they could accomodate with an automatic, but could not, so they allowed me to return the car. They were really accommodating and understanding. We love the people of Azorea and Portugal! Thank you

Super Auto. Neu und modern. Rückgabe ging schnell und ohne Probleme. Ein Stern Abzug für die Abholung. Dauerte doch etwas lange bis alle Modalitäten geklärt wurden. Wir können den Anbieter super empfehlen, wenn man auf Sâo Miguel ist. War das neuste Auto auf unserer Reise. Danke.
Ottima esperienza. Abbiamo preso massima assicurazione ed erano esclusi i danni allinterno della macchina e sotto la macchina (fortunatamente a Sao Miguel ci sono pochi Off Road da fare secondo me). Mi hanno comunque bloccato 300 al ritiro sulla carta di credito Personale presente e preparato, cordiale. Parlavano inglese senza problemi. Abbiamo preso la categoria Mini (A) e la macchina era una Volkswagen Up - ho visto che ne avevano tante quindi penso sia quella che danno sempre nella categoria Mini.

Thank you so much to Andre at the Wayzor desk. I stupidly left my drivers license in another purse but he sorted our contract to be under a different name. I hired cara in a number of countries as this was by far the best experience!
Pior rent a car que já contratei! Para além de ter contratado um VW Golf ou similar e me terem dado um Skoda Fabia 1.0 super fraco, tomei a decisão de não fazer o seguro contra todos os riscos porque não ia andar assim tanto. O carro foi entregue cheio de danos em todo o lado e isso já me causou alguma insegurança. Quando entrego o carro exatamente da forma que recebi dizem que fiz um dano leve no capô e teria de pagar a reparação no valor de 260 por algo que não era visível!!! Um autêntico absurdo! Uma empresa que se aproveita nitidamente para meter a mão no bolso dos clientes. Nesta empresa nunca mais!!!!!!

I rent cars often and never had any problem but I won t rent again from this agency and advise not to. They give you an old car with 23 scratches and tell you not to worry if you make another one and then, at return, they retain you some money because someone else made another scratch on the tyre and there is no way to discuss. No sense of customer at all.
Beware of this company. We have been renting cars all across Europe and never had any problems. Usually we receive a shiny new car. With Wayzor we received a dated car with scratches all over. The guy that released the car to us said not to worry about small scratches as they are not concerned with small scratches only big dings. When we returned the car they made us pay $300 AUD to replace the tyre and the previously scratched rims because the tyre got scratched from the sidewalk. This is a rip off to charge AUD $300 for a tyre in Portugal where everything was cheap.
