Way2azores Rent - Sales Office - PDL em Ponta Delgada

Terrible experience. I had booked the car weeks ago, but due to a flight delay got four hours later than I previously anticipated. The company told me the delay qualifies as no-show because they only wait 2 hours and, hence, cancelled my reservation. Economy booking, the website through which I did the reservation, is also to blame because it was not possible to reach them at 4pm on a Thursday.

I am not sure why others gave such a bad review. Every thing was perfect specially the bus driver to the airport! Deposit released immediately. I am from Canada.

Disastrous experience with Way2Azores and OrbitCar - A scam in the wee hours of the morning! Our experience with Way2Azores and OrbitCar was an absolute nightmare and a shameful example of how they scam customers. We arrived in the Azores in the wee hours of the morning, tired after a long trip, and were greeted by a driver in a van who took us to a remote location, on the outskirts of the city, where they had their rental office. This place was far from any other rental company, which already made us feel uncomfortable from the beginning. Despite having paid for full insurance through OrbitCar, when we got there, the Way2Azores staff came out with the excuse that our insurance was not valid and that if we wanted to take the car, we would have to pay an absurd amount for a new one. sure. The attitude of the staff was incredibly aggressive, almost intimidating, trying to force us to accept their conditions knowing that we were in a vulnerable situation, far from any other option. The situation was so ridiculous and abusive that we decided not to take the car. We weren't about to be scammed like that. Not only were we left without a vehicle, but we were also forced to look for a transportation solution at such ungodly hours. Of course, we will claim the amount we paid and will do everything possible to ensure that this scam does not go unpunished. It is incredible that companies like Way2Azores and OrbitCar continue to operate with these fraudulent practices. If you value your money and peace of mind, stay away from these companies. This was, without a doubt, the worst treatment we have received from a car rental company.

Big scam!!!! Our credit card is debited to them, so they charge you €25 per day extra. This additional cost is more expensive than the rental price. We rented a second car from another rental company without any problem. To flee!!!!

Very good place to go not ONLY because of the stuff they offer but because of the people inside they are very Nice and have always good sugestions where to go 😊
