A great car hire experience from José. This is the second time we have used the service and once again we had a good quality, well maintained vehicle, good communication from José and an easy and straightforward experience as customers. For me, this is a model for how all car hire companies should be run!
I rented a car for the second time, and once again, I was completely satisfied. A major advantage is that there's no need to pay a deposit or have a credit card. Insurance is fully included, with no hidden extra costs — everything is transparent and straightforward. The rental process is extremely convenient: you pick up the car directly from the parking lot, and the instructions are sent in advance via WhatsApp. There’s no unnecessary contact with staff — everything is quick and easy. You can feel the complete trust in the customer, which adds to the overall comfort. Communication through WhatsApp was also very convenient. I especially appreciate how this approach saves time and makes the car rental experience stress-free. Highly recommended, we were thoroughly impressed!
José was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Pick up and drop off were easy and was very flexible when we had change of drop off time last min. Highly recommend renting a car for your travels.
Hands down, best rental car experience I have had! Jose is a super nice guy. Always available through Whatsapp. If there is anything, he will help. I got to the airport, car was ready. I just went to the parking, picked the car up and ready to go. Same when I returned. Never had such an easy and smooth experience. Also price was much better than the competitors. I would without hesitation book again through Jose. All the other rental car companies always tried to sell you more and always give the feeling you will be ripped off. With them it was the first time that it was absolutely hassle free! Thanks for that! P.s: We had a Fiat Panda, and went all around the island. Up and down etc. We had absolutely no problem with any steep roads. Of course you have to take lower gear but it was no problem!
This was the cheapest rental in the area. The customer service was top notch! The Panda I rented was perfect for the island and had enough power to get us where we needed. I was able to get picked up by the company in Ponta Do Sol and had the car in hand shortly there after. They allowed me to drop the car off at the airport with no extra fees which was a giant bonus, we loved them so much we rented from them on multiple occasions! Long live our Panda until we return next year.

Great experience, fair prices. I was able to pick up/drop off the car at the airport. The car was new and in perfect condition. We also got full insurance with no deposit included in the price. We had a Fiat Panda which was nice, but if you plan to explore Madeira I recommend you taking a bigger car so you can drive the steep routes with ease. I recommend My car Madeira & will surely book a car here every time i visit Madeira

Jai loué une voiture pour 6 jours je suis très content de Mycarmadeira. La voiture était bien et elle faisait parfaitement laffaire pour mes besoins. Le prix était tout à fait correct, en ligne avec mes attentes. Le contact avec la personne en charge de la location a été très facile, toujours disponible et réactif, ce qui a rendu la prise en charge et la restitution du véhicule très simples. Die Autovermietung war einfach perfekt zu einem fairen Preis. Nicht mal eine Kaution war notwendig. Wir sind absolut zufrieden mit dem Service gewesen. Das Auto wurde uns am Flughafen bereitgestellt und an unserer Unterkunft nach dem Ende der Miete wieder abgeholt. Der Kontakt war immer schnell erreichbar und sehr nett. Absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr freundliche Übergabe, super unkompliziert, sauberes und sehr gepflegtes Auto. Kontakt via WhatsApp, José ist immer zu erreichen, sollte es ein Problem geben. Wir konnten sogar angeben, wo wir das Auto übernehmen und wieder zurückgeben konnten. Sehr zu empfehlen!

I can only recommend mycarmadeira as service provider. Our car was brand new, barely 1800km. Everything has worked as planned. José met us at the airport on our arrival as agreed. On our last day our flight was delayed and it was easy to extend the rental for a few hours without complication. Thank you very much for everything. Well definitely use mycarmadeira again for our next stay on the island.

Overall we had a great experience, as Jose picked us up from the airport and drove us very close to our accommodation. Jose is really nice and helpful, gave us some local tips during the ride, which was appreciated. We hired a Fiat Panda Hybrid (1.2 liter engine). The car was great, fit for purpose and we didnt have any issues with it, although the engine is a bit small for the strap hills of Madeira, where it struggled a bit. Overall, great little car. At the end of the holiday, Jose picked us up from a previously established location and drove us to the airport, again appreciated. I recommend Jose and the rental company. Very good, quick and friendly service. Clear communication. If we come back to Madeira we would rent a car from them again. But not the Fiat Panda just because we think another car would have worked better going up certain hills. But if you ask them, they will tell you which car you need!

We had an awesome experience! Great communication and personal service. Got the jeep for a great price. Perfect car for the island. Our flight was delayed for 1 day, and without us even asking, Josè gave us a new price for the car, that didn t include that day. No other major rental agency would ever do that. So big ups to Josè! If/when I come back I will definitely rent from them again
