5-star experience! Excellent communication with Carlos. Almost zero formalities during pick up and drop off (credit card wasn't needed). The car itself was almost brand-new (23kkm mileage), in a great condition, with premium tyres and hill assist. They even changed the car's infotainment language to ours beforehand. Highly recommend!

I rented a car with Carlos (Sun Car Rental Ponta do Sol) twice. It was so uncomplicated. The price is really good (way better than major companies) He brought the car to my accommodation, which was very helpful! He is very friendly and helpful! I chose a small car (Fiat Punto) to get around more easily on the narrow roads. It was good for my trips around the island. If you wanna do really steep and off road trips I recommend more like a Jeep etc though.
Would highly recommend using SUNcar rentals in Madeira. Carlos met us at the airport with the car and then we left it easily in same car park at the end of holiday. The car was on vgc and clean. We would certainly use them aga.

The best Car Rental ever
Alles hat super funktioniert. Einfache Abholung und Abgabe des Autos am Flughafen in Madeira. Das Auto selbst war makellos. Die Kommunikation und Beratung war freundlich, zuvorkommend und einfach. Wir würden uns hier jederzeit wieder ein Auto mieten.
Alles super gelaufen. Der Wagen war sauber und fuhr sich sehr gut. Er wurde uns wunschgemäß bis vors Hotel geliefert und dort wieder abgeholt. Sehr netter Kontakt. So wie man es sich wünscht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir bedanken uns für die wunderbare und so herzliche Erfahrung mit Carlos, so ein Autovermieter ist wie ein Hauptpreis. Wie wurden am Flughaben abgeholt und haben den Wagen sofort übernehmen können. Auch die Rückgabe war super einfach. Vergisst die großen Autovermieter, die können von Carlos lernen, was Service heißt. Für uns kommt nun kein anderer Autovermieter auf Madeira in frage. Sehr gerne melden wir uns wieder, wenn wir wiederkommen.

Nous avions réservé une Kia Rio. La location sest très bien passée. Les instructions de prise et de dépose de la voiture étaient très claires et la voiture repondait à toutes nos attentes.Carlos est top. Pensez à réserver une voiture suffisamment puissante car les routes de Madère sont pleines de surprises, mais très jolies ! Nous recommandons cette agence et nous la recommenderons à notre entourage !

Sehr guter Service! Das Auto wurde uns an die Unterkunft in Ponta do Sol gebracht und die Rückgabe konnten wir auch Nachts am Flughafen machen. Die Kommunikation war einfach und schnell. Das Auto war perfekt für die bergigen Straßen. :)

Au top la voiture
Trotz unserer Spontanität könnte der Inhaber (Carlos) uns sofort helfen. Wir bekamen einen sehr frischen und gut ausgestatteten Kia Rio mit gerade 17 tkm. runter. Ein Top Auto und vollkommen ausreichend für 2 Personen. Als wir noch spontaner die Mietdauer verlängern wollten, wurde dies absolut unkompliziert gelöst. Auch preistechnisch ist Carlos weit und breit unschlagbar. Er hat die Weiterempfehlung mehr als verdient. Also ich buch mein Auto beim nächsten Madeira Besuch nur bei SunCar. Muito obrigado, Carlos!

Madeira ist unbedingt eine Reise wert waren ende Oktober für 9 Tage wandern fast immer Sonnenschein bei über 20° mit dem Auto von suncar rent, sehr freundlich nur zu empfehlen, rund um die Insel
