Scam company, avoid if you can! I rented a car with them, during registration they were very pushy with offering additional insurance, to which I clearly replied no multiple times, they included the insurance anyway without my consent, taking advantage from the fact that I didn’t understand Portuguese language. Very dishonest practices!
Rented a car for two days in the end of November. Car rental price was 109 plus deposit 300. 409 euro was pended from my card. The day we returned the car, I was charged 109 (rental fee) from my card, but 409 euro continued to be pended. It's been already month for this money to be pended. Moreover, on 20th of December I was charged 109 euro again, thus 409 still were pended. Called and mailed to support, promised to help, but still didn't. I'm waiting for my 518 euro for one month already. It's unacceptable !!!!!
Worst car rental agency I've ever rented from, refused to rent me a car on my debit card, even though I had a debit card from a local bank, had rented from there several times in years past and the counter staff was extremely rude as well .. .ruined my brief Holiday . . . never... NEVER use this agency..
Don't you ever rent an electrical mountainbike here. The service is super amateuristic, they didnt offer us any helmets, there were flat tires, and the gears were crooked. Would NOT recommend. We contacted the higher management but they didnt help us out either. Disappointed and will never use a service of Europcar ever again.
The main guy in this branch has a problem with attitude, he treated us like trash - complete lack of customer service. Other (subordinate )agents were friendly and helpful.
Simply ridiculous that a company as big as Europcar will allow the same vehicle to be double or multiple booked. I reserved a motorbike to collect on Sunday 4pm. When I get there I'm informed they need to check cause they only have 1 motorbike but there are 2 reservations for the same bike. So the one that was made first would be honoured. So basically I didn't get the bike, had to cancel all my plans, because a company that specialises in renting vehicles tries to maximise profit and don't give a crap about their customers. 0 stars.
Great service and friendly. Upgraded us 5€/day for a larger car and automatic (so my wife could drive too) He said it was hybrid but it was not the same as the hybrid we are used to. It has to be plugged in to charge and the car was missing its cord so it was straight gas. Other than that everything was great. Drop off was just as easy.
Friendly and helpful staff, but the car looked terrible (a lot damage outside and gum inside)… Worse was the dried out windscreen wipers! It didn’t rain, but if it did it would actually be dangerous… A pleasant surprise was getting an automatic while paying for a manual, the staff actually asked if I was good with driving a manual before giving the car to me… (afterwards I should have said no, because of the windscreen wipers)

Último carro alugado foi bem abaixo dos outros já alugados da mesma categoria. O Seat Ibiza não havia conexão com o Android Auto, na qual dificultou a viagem, carro desconfortável até mesmo pra esta categoria das mais baratas, sem acessórios comuns como espelho ou alça de segurança. Acredito que poderiam melhorar a frota dos carros populares.
unseriöses Geschäftsgebaren; uns wurde unzureichender Versicherungsschutz durch den Vermittler Billiger-Mietwagen.de unterstellt und eine überteuerte Zusatzversicherung geschickt untergejubelt und mit der Kautionszahlung verpackt, großzügig wurde uns ein kostenloses Upgrade für ein Premiummodel angeboten, da das gebuchte Fahrzeug noch nicht gereinigt sei; letztendlich haben wir dies anscheinend anderweitig bezahlt, wir werden in Portugal nicht wieder über Europcar buchen

Vorsicht Betrug/Abzocke Vorab, ich bin Vielbucher in Sachen Mietwagen und sehr häufig habe ich auch über Europcar gebucht, stets ohne Schwierigkeiten. Leider bin ich jetzt an ein schwarzes Schaf geraten. Ich habe das Fahrzeug online gebucht, ein Fahrzeug in Portimao (Europcar). Alle Versicherungen waren hier durch die Buchung inkludiert und eigentlich nochmals über die Kreditkarte abgesichert. Bei Abholung des Fahrzeuges teilte mir der Mitarbeiter (ich vermute der Geschäftsführer) wiederholt mit, dass ich ja keine zusätzliche Versicherung benötigen würde. Ich bejahte dies mehrfach, auch schloss ich Autobahnfahrten aus. Für mich war die Sache damit klar, da suggeriert wurde - keine Versicherung o.ä. wird abgeschlossen. Bei Abgabe des Autos bekam ich dann eine zusätzliche Rechnung über 99 (Grundgebühr Mautgerät und Emengency Management Service abroad) serviert. Meine Reklamation wurde mit der Aushändigung einer Mailadresse beschwichtigt. Hier sollte ich den Sachverhalt mitteilen und das Geld würde rückerstattet. Ich schrieb 2 Mails, ohne jemals eine Antwort zu erhalten. Von Europcar Deutschland bekam ich telefonisch als Antwort, alles wäre sauber gelaufen, was doch sehr verwundert!!! Mit dieser Bewertung möchte ich mich nicht rächen, sondern mögliche Kunden vor der Agentur in Portimao warnen (wir haben das Geld bereits abgeschrieben). Ein Blick in die Bewertungen zeigt ja auch, dass ich nicht der einzige Geschädigte bin.
Worst car rental.Its been a month since I rented and the deposit is still holded in my bank account.They also charged me twice.When I called their support they said that they will reach out to me.Guess what.They never did.Please return my money back IMMEDIATELY!

ACHTUNG ABZOCKE!!!!!!!!!! Wir haben in Deutschland über Check24 ein Auto gemietet und auch bezahlt. Vor Ort gab es plötzlich mit dem blocken der Kaution über meine Kreditkarte Probleme. Ich musste vor Ort noch mehr bezahlen als aus Deutschland, weil ich sonst keinen Versicherungsschutz für das Auto habe. Das Geld was ich an Check24 gezahlt habe, sei so oder so weg. So die Aussage von diesem unfreundlichen Typen. 3 x wurde Geld auf meine Kreditkarte geblockt. Plötzlich funktionierte das. Nach einer Woche waren die Beträge wieder verschwunden. ABER nach rund einer Woche, nachdem ich den Wagen abgegeben hatte, wurden wieder fast 200 abgebucht. Einfach so......... Probleme vor Ort hatten nicht nur wir, mehrere Personen hatten wohl das gleiche und telefonierten wie wild. Die Leute hinterm Tresen hat das sehr amüsiert. Sie sprachen auf portugiesisch, schauten uns an und lachten. Das man so was mit europcar erlebt, hätte ich nie gedacht. Wir haben uns bewusst für diesen Anbieter entschieden, weil wir nicht damit gerechnet haben, solche Abzocker zu erwischen. NIE WIEDER EUROPCAR!!!!!!!!!!

Na 30 minuten te hebben gewacht, onvriendelijk te horen gekregen dat er geen huurauto beschikbaar was. Je moet ook reserveren werd er gezegd.
The fuel tank wasnt full; it was missing a quarter. However, I was tired after the journey to the pick-up location and trusted the company. I realized this after I had already left and didnt feel like going back because I wanted to reach my resting place. Folks, make sure to check everything thoroughly at pick-up.
Alles super geklappt, Abholung und Abgabe pünktlich und freundlich. Auto war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen mit 90.000 Kilometer aber der FIAT 500 war wie geordert und technisch einwandfrei. Alles lief sehr kulant und vertrauenswürdig. Mautsystem wurde zusätzlich mit 2.50 am Tag berechnet wenn man es nutzt, sonst wird der Betrag zurückerstattet.

Très mauvaise expérience, premièrement la voiture était accidenté le schéma a été remplis au moment où on m à donnée les clefs mais pas de commentaire mis et donc au moment de la restitution on essaie de faire passer les rayures sur ma caution car le schéma ne suffirait pas... heureusement que j avais fait une vidéo intégrale de la voiture, avec leurs collègues en fond ... Ensuite on me dit que la caution serai intégralement rendu mais je découvres qu une cinquantaine d euro ont été retiré de mon compte au moment du déblocage de la caution raison avancé par le service client l assistance et le péage que je n ai pas souscrit (j ai d ailleurs fait des détours pour eviter les peages tous le sejour !) ... je ne comprend pas pourquoi on ne m a pas demandé de le régler lorsque j ai réglé la voiture et comment on a pu se permettre de le retirer de la caution sans m en avertir ! Sans compter la premiere barre d essence qui disparaît en moins de 10 minutes (mais pour leur défense le coupable est certainement le dernier client et non lagence) A noter que l agence ferme entre midi et 14h30 et quils ne sont pas joignable au téléphone dans cet intervale (en tout cas je n ai pas pu les avoir) ce qui est assez désagréable quand on a noté une prise du véhicule à 13h. Bref plein de loueur bien plus honnête au Portugal pour des prix tout aussi attractif.
Hello, I would like to complain about a staff member from this Europcar in Praia da Rocha around the 27th July. I was seeking to rent a 5 seater car for 2 days during my stay in Portugal. I went to book a car and he told us an initial price the day before which we agreed. Then the next day on Monday 29th August , when I was about to pay, he mentioned an additional deposit which he never mentioned before. Since this caught me by surprise, I asked him about this since he never mentioned it. Then he replied with If you dont want the car, then just leave and get out. At this point I asked him to communicate better, not be rude and be more polite. This clearly made him more angry and he started shouting I wasnt rude, but if you want me to be rude, then I will be rude ok. Since I really needed the car for my kids, I tried to resolve and apologised to him, even though I did not disrespect him and did nothing wrong, in an attempt to get the car. He did not want to proceed and kept raising his voice saying it is too late now, leave and get out. I can easily give this car to someone else, go somewhere else. He even mentioned I am Portuguese - not sure what his intention was with this comment. As I was upset with his attitude and how he cancelled my booking which I made with 1 day advance. I asked to speak to the manager and he said I am the manager. This man claimed he was the manager but he had no leader characteristics, very poor customer service and was rude. I asked for his name and I started to record him so I can have proof of how rude he was. When he saw I was recording him, he got even crazier and more rude and followed me outside of the shop. He then threatened me in the street to call the police and forced me to delete the video. I still have the video and I will publish online so you can see how this man behaves. As you can see this was a very poor experience because of this man. I thought this company hired people with humbleness, empathy, good-communication skills, respect and compassion - this manager had nothing of this. There was another lady customer waiting on a chair who saw everything and would testify what I have just said. Since I was still needing a car, I searched online for other car rentals. I recommend Auto Rent instead which is just 3 blocks away - they have better cars and much better prices. They managed to get me a car on the same day within 30 mins. They allowed me to return the car at the airport and then took me to the terminal by van. The lady who served me at Auto Rent was very polite and respectful which made it a 10/10 customer experience. This lady was just a sales employee and showed she was a much better human being than this so-called Manager at Europcar. Maybe this man should learn basic human skills before trying to act like a Manager. Thank you
I am still waiting for my deposit after 2 months. The people there were not friendly when I had questions and had no patience with me when I needed help. I would recommend any other company.

Fantastic experience from all the staff here. From first obtaining a quote , to returning the next day to book , pickup and drop off. This was my first experience of hiring a car abroad and it was made seamless by the friendly staff here, all questions answered and helpful extras ( Insurance, breakdown cover etc ) available at competitive prices to make everything run with no worry. No sign of staff trying to charge for any scratches or dents etc as some other reviews mention. I find it hard to believe that this happens to be honest as there is a clear handover and return process carried out, just take the time to point out any marks and dents beforehand ( luckily there wasn t any on my vehicle but still checked, and take photos upon collection ) I think there s a few people on here who likely are scuffing wheels or causing some minor dents but expect to get away with it .. Car returned and full deposit returned within 5 days as per their T&C s. Great service and highly recommended.

On saturaday 13 july 2024, I went to collect the car from the sration, but for some reason they said that they can nor give me the car because fault in the system. I show them that I have received confirmation email even with that they said rhey can not and they were not peoffisionala at all. I asked them, then what about my money and the damage that you cause becuase I need the car? They said it is not their issue!! I make a compaint by sending email for europcar, since Saturday, nothing hapened, even send many reminder and norhing happened. They even didnt bother themself to answer. Basiaclly, it is thwir fault and they cut the money from my account and yet, I need to run after them to return my money. What a company!!!!! Update today, I am so angry with this company until today no one reply to my case that I opened since 13th of july. I called support 2 times and each time they said the same stupid stuff that she will talk with her mate and reply to me asap What to do? You are so fast with cutting the money, and the branch make the mistake and I cancel an event because of you and yet No apologize, not return the money and even worst that you dont care This is not good and it is so bad To whom should I reprt this?! Give me some manager email or some one care about the customers

A 15/06/2024 efetuei uma reserva online para levantar uma scooter 125 na Europcar de Portimão, situada na Praia da Rocha. Foi me indicado que o valor da reserva seria 174,02 , contudo foi me cobrado 191,24 - valor [17,22 ] referente ao serviço de portagens eletrônicas que seria reembolsado caso não fosse utilizado. Não foi, e até hoje 30/07/2024 (MAIS DE UM MÊS!!) estou PACIENTEMENTE À espera que me seja DEVOLVIDO. Para melhorar ainda mais esta situação vergonhosa, a Europcar COBROU NOVAMENTE E INDEVIDAMENTE o valor de 191,24 a 26/07/2024 às 02:27 da madrugada! Eu NÃO TENHO NENHUMA OUTRA RESERVA A DECORRER. Estou a ser ROUBADA claramente por esta empresa, a qual NUNCA MAIS vou fazer uso de! Só quero o meu dinheiro de volta, os 17,22 do serviço de portagens que os colaboradores da Europcar de Portimão me indicam que seria devolvido, e os 191,24 que me foram roubados da minha conta! São UNS LADRÕES que me estão a ROUBAR 208,46 !! VERGONHOSO. Caso não me seja devolvido este valor de forma célere, vou apresentar queixa à polícia de acordo. QUERO O MEU DINHEIRO DE VOLTA.

Editado: Problema resolvido depois da Europcar apoio ao cliente resolver o problema e devolver dinheiro Pior serviço de sempre burlado. Minha seguradora orientou nesta empresa de levantar um carro para usar do dia 06/06/2024 ate 12/06/2024 até aqui tudo bem. Cheguei ao estabelecimento tinha de dar caução de 120eur, tudo bem. Depois disso o empregado (este empregado foi bastante rude mas pelos comentários do google da para perceber quem era). Avisou me que tinha franquia de 1600eur e achei a conversa muito estranho, tentou vender me seguros etc.... Dirigimos nós lá fora para ver o carro e os danos que tinha já existentes. O segundo empregado que até era simpático apontou todos os riscos e amoldagelas e eu alertei sobre as jantes que já tinham riscos. Não apontou os riscos das jantes alegando que não fazia mal que era normal estarem riscados com riscos leves. Nesse dia achando a conversa má e até ver os comentários negativos no google, peguei no carro fui para casa metendo na garagem o dito veículo ate dia 12. No dia 12 passei pela bomba de gasolina em que pus 11eur. (nunca na vida gastei isso mas ok). E voltei ao estabelecimento para entregar o carro. Qual não foi o meu espanto quando o senhor que é super mega rude queria me enganar com riscos nas jantes, eu insistindo e contando a historia que esteve na garagem e os KMS testemunharam de tal, o senhor viu que não deve ter sido eu e disse me para ir a minha vida. Passado 3 dias fiquei surpreendido que foi levantado 52eur do meu cartão de credito. Telefonei para linha de apoio da rent a car a qual alegava que era combustivel e portagens. Ora combustivel foi enchido com 11eur na bomba BP (Tenho comprovativos 10min antes entregar o carro). Portagens não passei por nenhuma pois meu trajecto foi Portimão- Silves e Silves-Portimão pela Nacional125. BURLA BURLA BURLA não tenho mais nada a dizer.

Óptima experiência como da primeira vez, a maior parte dos funcionários merecem nota 5, excepto um senhor que nos atendeu que me levou a ir fazer a reserva por telefone à entrada, pois não era muito educado.
Tivemos uma péssima experiência hoje. Viemos com o carro alugado em lisboa para devolução onde ocorreu tudo bem. E estávamos com uma nova reserva, assim como a antiga foi feita em meu nome e minha mãe foi a condutora sem nenhum problema, mas dessa vez a atendente nos disse que não podia a reserva está em meu nome. Estávamos com criança sem almoçar ainda, sacolas de compra, e a mesma disse que se pagássemos uma taxa de seguro a mais que ela liberava ou tentar com a operadora da reserva. Logo em seguida uma família de brasileiros também com o mesmo porém, porém este que não teve no aeroporto e nem mesmo foi falado sobre.
If it was possible, Id give no stars! I went into them to rent an ebike. I asked to be given prices for renting the bike planning to rent from them the next day to rent for a full day as it was already the afternoon. I was simply told the price for one day and had to question the man further to find out if there were different rates if renting for more than 1. Turned out there were. I asked for a flyer, theyre were none and with no information on their website about either push bikes or ebikes. I went in the next day to rent and I deal with a lady who was extremely quiet and unhelpful and rude, who then told me the price had increased. When I ask why I was not told the day before the price could go up she just stays quiet and phones the man for to ask him about it but says nothingto me about their conversation. I ask to speak to the man and she just starts speaking over me in portuguese. I eventually get from her that it was his day off. I say I accept but and but I would leave a bad review and she instantly changes her mind and refuses to rent me the bikes. I calmly ask again why I wasnt told the price could increase and she calls the police! At which point I of course had no choice but to leave. Very rude and unhelpful staff, apparently incapable of giving any form of clear information.
I literally have started a criminal case against the miserable faced agent at the branch when she decided to forge my signature on the statement of return when I disagreed that damage to a vehicle was caused by me. Im a privilege member and been a customer for over 10 years, one ugly womans greed has completely wrecked that relationship. Inspect your car thoroughly before driving away, these rats will exploit you if you dont.

Never again! The companys principle seems to be to cheat inexperienced and trusting holidaymakers out of their money! I will never book anything with them again! They try to force all kinds of insurance on you! Never book with them!
Achtung! Wer über Booking bucht, wird doppelt abgerechnet. Laut dem Mitarbeiter sei Booking eine Billig-Website , weshalb er uns die bereits bezahlte Versicherung und das Mautgerät doppelt bezahlen lies. Einmal online und dann nochmal vor Ort. Zudem bekamen wir ein anderes Auto, als gebucht. Null Serviceorientierung - wir kommen nicht wieder.
Unpolite service and they try to sell additional insurances that seem shady. Good English though (therefore + 1 star) They dont accept virtual credit cards nor debit VISA like other companies, but thats not an issue of the specific store rather a company guideline, so the employees there cannot be accounted for. Though they seem not to be willed to find a solution for issues that occur during the rental like rebooking it to someone that has a accepted card format. You have to work against, not with them.

Rented a fiat 500 here, they gave us a free upgrade to automatic transmission (which I don t recommend, manual is so much better in the 500). Had no issues, great service, they encourage you to take your own photos if you don t purchase insurance and check the vehicle thoroughly with you.

Falta de Profissionalismo! Que vergonha de ser portuguesa. Tínhamos uma reserva para levantar um carro às 18:30, mas ao chegarmos ao escritório pontualmente as 18:28 a porta estava fechada à chave. Tentámos chamar à atenção de um funcionário no balcão da entrada, identificado como Carlos, que simplesmente gritou de lá de dentro que nos fôssemos embora e que já tinham fechado. A conversa continuou e o Carlos falou de uma maneira grosseira e sem interesse nenhum para tentar ajudar nos com a nossa reserva, que já tínhamos pago on-line. Porém, o Carlos e a empresa não cumpriram com o serviço contratado e ficamos à chuva sem meio de transporte, mesmo termos efetuado o pagamento antecipado e comparecido no horário confirmado como constatava o nosso e-mail de reserva. Acho ridículo que um escritório feche às 18:30 sendo que o último horário de levantamento de veículo também é às 18:30. Já escrevemos no livro de reclamações e solicitamos que nos seja descontado as horas que não usufruímos da nossa reserva, já não falando da despesa, embora pequena, do táxi que tivemos de pedir para nos fazer regressar a casa e depois para a agência de novo no dia seguinte! Temos a certeza que nem nós, nem familiares e amigos teremos qualquer interesse em alugar com a vossa empresa outra vez. Também pelas reviews do Google não vão muitos longe Parece que não somos os únicos a reclamar de funcionários incompetentes, quero dizer, o senhor Carlos!

J ai loué un scooter pour faire une balade et la personne qui m a loué le véhicule m a également donné des très bons conseils de balade pour découvrir la région. Auto war zufriedenstellend, aber der ganze Weg dahin war ein einziger Horror und nicht gewünscht im Urlaub. Vorort sollte das Auto für 3 Tage 200 Euro kosten, im Internet lediglich 100 Euro. Im Internet also bestellt - das kommt aber nicht gut beim Personal an und diese legen einem viele Steine in dem Weg. Versuchen noch weitere Sachen zu verkaufen und sind schlecht gelaunt. Nicht zu empfehlen, wie die anderen Bewertungen.

Hired a Scott Addict road bike for a few days while on holiday. Great service from the team in store. Great bike, just one size too small (54, when my size is a 56) so you need to specify size needed. Team very helpful availing pedals, but they don t really understand bikes so much. Bikes also don t have mount for heads up display unit, so have to tape mine on. But would recommend
Reservei um carro para as 12:30. Cheguei la as 11:40 é o trabalhador disse me para vir as 12:15 porque a loja fecha as 12:30 muito obrigado. O serviço foi excellente é o homem foi muito simpatico. Sem problemas tive o carro em 5 minutos. Vale gastar um pouco mais para ter esse serviço de 5 estrellas!

Great service, for the first time I was able to rent a new scooter just 1000km on board, scooter was freshly cleaned, equipped with all necessary tools. The only downside I can think of was helmets, which weren t soundproofing and a bit loose.

Abholung und Rückgabe ohne Komplikationen. T-Cross war mit gut 4000 km noch neu - nur leider ohne Einparkhilfe. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter.
Achtung bei Europcar kommen versteckte kosten auf Sie zu wenn sie das Mietauto über ein zweit (carjet zb.) bzw drittanbieter Buchen! Das angeblich günstige Angebot kam uns nach Mietende Doppelt so teuer! Unbedingt das kleingedruckte lesen. Aber schon frech von dieser Filiale uns für ein Nagelneues Auto mit gerade mal 600km auf dem Tacho eine Technische Asistenz in Rechnung zu stellen ohne dies gebucht noch verlangt zu haben. Auch auf eine Pysicalische Kreditkarte zu bestehen(Deposit)im Digitalen Zeitalter Zeigt das diese Autovermietung alles andere als am Puls der Zeit ist. Leider mussten wir einen 2 Fahrer in dem Mietvetrag mit eintragen(da dieser im besitz einer Physicalischen Kereditkarte war) und so mit die Mietkosten erheblich steigerte. Auch der angeblich volle Tank war nur 3/4 voll (unbedingt checken vor Fahrt beginn!) Zu guter letzt noch, für den fall das sie eine Vollkasko Versicherung abschliessen (welches absolut empfehlenswert ist, auch hier nochmal mehr kosten) und das Mietauto unverschuldet beschedigt wird, werden sie zur Kasse gebeten, bzw die Mietkaution einbehalten!! Sie dürfen sich dan über den 2 bzw 3 Anbieter darum streiten. Alles in allem und nach 3 Anläufen (nicht gerade um die Ecke zum Zentrum) müssen wir zugeben das diese Autovermietung nicht wirklich im Intersse des Kunden handelt. Hier war deutlich zu spüren das Profit über Kundenzufriedenheit geht. Ach so natürlich war unser Gebuchtes & Bezahltes Auto am nächsten Tag dann anderweitig vermietet worden, na ja wenigstens gab es da aber ein upgrade auf eine höhere Klasse, welches ja wohl eine selbstverständlichkeit sein sollte. Na unterm Strich kommt diese Autovermietung für uns nicht mehr in Frage. rip off !!

Jorge on the pickup desk saved our day today after being turned away or almost scammed at all the other rental car places in the area. He was very personable and did all he could to help us out. However, if the boss is reading this - the guys here need more help. It was so busy during our time here and they were really doing their best but they are understaffed.

Horrible experience!! Went to rent a car, system didnt update after charging my card 250 without generating MOP. Carlos couldnt help or call office to override the system but decided to manually insert my card details even when i was telling him not to do it because I already paid once!! Ended up freezing my card so got no card for rest of my holiday!! and two payments out of my bank account !!!!!! be aware its a worst place to rent a car ---- ----------------------------- u charge me twice without giving me a car!!!! because system didnt generate MOP!!!
We rented a very nice BMW GS motorcycle. The whole process went smooth and the bike was great as well. Carlos even had given us a lift back to our hotel. Great service overall!

No revisan bien los coches a su devolución, me apareció un chivato con hachis al bajar el parabrisas. Me podría haber metido e un problema si me llega a parar la policia. Informé a la devolución y ni caso.

Esperienza molto negativa, sconsigliatissimo,abbiamo avuto problemi con uno scooter,dopo le nostre segnalazioni,ci hanno rassicurato che sarebbe andato tutto bene,ed invece lo scooter ci ha abbandonato la sera stesso,dopo diverse chiamate, fortunatamente ci hanno mandato un carro attrezzi a ritirare lo scooter. La mattina seguente siamo andati a ritirare noi lo scooter sostitutivo,abbiamo perso più di 10 ore di noleggio senza alcun rimborso ovviamente,anzi abbiamo dovuto anche pagare la benzina che mancava dal serbatoio del vecchio scooter che purtroppo non funzionando più è stato impossibile fare il pieno di carburante. Abbiamo pagato una somma di 260 euro per una settimana più di tutti i rent in zona con la speranza che avessimo un maggior servizio e assistenza adeguata,visto che si parla di un azienda importante,ma invece lunico aiuto è stato quello di fornirci una email di reclamo che dopo circa 15 giorni siamo ancora in attesa di risposta.

Don t rent here!! I made a reservation for a car and they seemed nice. But on pick up day nobody was there. I waited 30 minutes and no one showed up. Went back later to check, still no one there. So I lost a day. Had to go somewhere else. Plus there where many others waiting outside for there reservations. Very disappointed!
If I could will be definitely rated as no stars at all! What a place! We went there beginning of the week to book a car for the Sunday coming and when we went there to collect the car was no one! No one open the rental car!! It s insane ridiculous! We were many people outside waiting but no one show up! I went there again after 4 hrs and was still close and new people waiting outside! Just change job!!

I had an issue with my car in that the windscreen had a large crack across it. Despite contacting the main office and the breakdown service no one was able or willing to help. I called this office direct and they asked me to call in and exchanged the car straight away. Excellent service and great customer care. Thankyou.

Don t rent a car in portugal, especially at this place. They are thieves. They triple even quadruple the prices just because you re a tourist. The service was very bad too. Take the bus or the train instead. 152 eur + 1000 eur deposit for 8 hours in a small cheap european 5 speed manual wheelbarrow? No thanks!
Nice helpfull staff. Dropping car of at airport is no problem. Finding where to drop it of at the airport was a bit of a puzzle for us, but we were in middle of night and had rainy weather.
Achtung : Prüft den Vertrag genau. Bei mir wurde eine Zusatzleistung mit gebucht, die ich nicht haben wollte (Pannenschutz 12 am Tag!). Leider habe ich das übersehen - mündlich wurde mir das angeboten, aber mehrfach abgelehnt. Klar generieren die so Umsatz, aber ob der Kunde dann nochmal wieder kommt. Also für mich, kenne ich die Antwort. Ansonsten: Obwohl die Schäden am Auto bekannt waren, musste alles neu aufgenommen werden. Tank war nicht voll. Großer Zeitdruck, das Übergabeprotokoll hatte ich überhaupt nicht signiert. Bei Rückgabe wurde sehr auf den Tank geachtet, hätte ich Nachzahlen müssen, wenn der so voll gewesen wäre, wie beim check-in. Rest war unkompliziert, nur dass der Mitarbeiter sich weigerte das check-out Protokoll abzuzeichnen. Es sei jetzt alles in der app und ich müsste nur noch auf dem Handy abzeichnen. Damit habe ich aber keinen Nachweis für mich. Nachfragen wurde abgewimmelt, keine Zeit... Fazit: Auto war ok, der Service eher nicht kundenorientiert und bei mir bleibt ein Gefühl des abgezogen-worden-sein. Da hat der MA seiner Firma keinen Gefallen getan...

Infelizmente não tem como dar estrela negativa, péssimo atendimento por um tal de Carlos que pensa estar fazendo um favor em atender, desconhece educação e customer service. Se não gosta de atender estrangeiros então que vá trabalhar em fábrica. E pra ajudar, a postura da empresa que se diz ser internacional é arcaica pois não permite o uso do cartão wise alegando que não é cartão de crédito, uma completa desinformação pois uma vez aprovado o valor como crédito ele é debitado na hora da minha conta, enquanto cartão de crédito as vezes leva 24h pra isso ocorrer, e na wise eu não consigo solicitar estorno quando aprovado, e a europcar pode perfeitamente fazer a cobrança de caução e depois devolver na minha conta, então se isso não é crédito eu não sei qual o nome a dar, esse pessoal precisa REALMENTE passar por curso de qualificação pois ter uma agencia numa região turística e ter esse atendimento RIDÍCULO E DEPLORÁVEL é absurdo. And to be worth, the attitude of the company that claims to be international is archaic because it does not allow to use Wise card, claiming that it is not a credit card, a complete misinformation because once the amount is approved as credit it is debited at the time of my account , while credit cards sometimes take 24 hours for this to happen, and on Wise I cant request a refund when approved, europcar can perfectly charge the deposit and then return it to my account, so if this is not credit I dont know whats the name to give, these people REALLY need to go through a qualification course because having an agency in a tourist region and having this RIDICULOUS AND DEPLORABLE service is absurd. Companies like this deserve to be BOYCOTTED and close their doors
We had a problem with our reservation yet the local assistant wouldn t help us. She said refund is not possible for the pre-paid fee. She gave us the number of the central office to manage things ourselves. I don t know what she is getting paid for if not to provide a service to customers.

Dreadfully bad service with a flair for skullduggery. Im not sure what the Praia da Rocha branch hates more honesty, work or customers. Ive never seen any business go through such lengths to avoid satisfying their customers. This company excels at nickeling and diming tourists out of their hard earned money based on sketchy policies and sketchy business practices. Take the train or even walk if at all possible, you will thank yourself for avoiding the headaches of dealing with this grumpy truth allergic branch. Do not rent from this location. Do not rent close to lunch, they are serious about their lunch break I was forced into an upsell after customer service made my reservation incorrectly online. When I was handed a stick shift car instead of an automatic, I told them I needed an automatic. This led to them stating they didnt have automatics in my price range and they raised my rate 60 euros. I told them this was unfair and I should not be charged anything. They instead assured me that I just needed to contact customer service after the reservation to get the 60 euros refunded. Obviously I knew this was a questionable assurance, but I had to check out of my hotel and had another hotel reservation on the other side of the country, so I couldnt spend the day battling it out. No surprise the refund never came. From now on Im swimming to Porto instead of driving. Thats how bad the service is at Europcar.
On a voulu louer une voiture en agence. Personnel très désagréable. Le prix de la location en multiplier par 5 par rapport au prix indiqué sur le site! Il y a Avis à 50m, les prix correspondent et le personnel est très accueillant !

La voiture était dans un bon état, par contre assurez vous que la voiture est full en essence avant de partir car il vous facture ca lorsque vous allez la rendre. personne na fait le contrôle avec nous au départ Aussi, la journée ou on devait rendre la voiture le dimanche 13/06/2021, à10h30, lagence est fermée pour plus dune heure ce qui nous a pas facilité la mission pour catcher notre vol.

Über 200 EUR für 2 Tage Basic-Auto - das ist nicht billig - aber OK, wenn das Fahrzeug in einem guten Zustand ist. Bei Europcar war das zumindest bis dahin immer der Fall. Und auch darum haben wir bereits vor unserem Urlaub auch bei Europcar - einem der renommierten Vermieter gebucht. Wir hatten dieses mal leider einen Opel Corsa mit über 100.000 km auf dem Tacho und einigen Macken. Auch uns wurde versucht eine weitere Versicherung zu verkaufen - obwohl wir bereits Vollkasko ohne Selbstbeteiligung online gebucht und bezahlt hatten. Klar, das kennt man - und lehnt halt einfach ab. Zur Rückgabe hatten wir das Auto 2 km vor der Station vollgetankt. Bei der Europcar-Station fehlte aber schon ein Balken der Tankanzeige. Somit wollte der Mitarbeiter uns den vollen Tank nicht bestätigen. Verständlich, da ist ihm nichts vorzuwerfen, die Tankanzeige hat eben nicht 100% angezeigt. Also haben wir das Auto nochmals getankt. Gut 1 Liter Kraftstoff ging mit viel Geschick und vorsichtigem Betätigen des Zapfhahns noch rein. Daraufhin war die Tankanzeige auch auf 100%. Das ist definitiv nicht normal. Die defekte Tankanzeige war wohl auch dem Zustand des Fahrzeugs geschuldet. In Summe kein gutes Erlebnis.

Completamente mal formados, sem capacidade de ajudar e responder ao cliente. Loja a não visitar. E pelo vistos não gostam do que os clientes tem para dizer. Fui chamado de mal educado por simplesmente soltar uma palavra de mala sorte por simplesmente haver um erro no horário da marcação com a seguradora. E depois sim a colaboradora ouvi-o um mal educado e ouve uma troca de palavras. Cuidado com um funcionário agressivo não gostou de apita se o carro em forma de protesto colocou se na faixa de rodagem de braços no ar um selvagem completo. Não tem capacidade de lidar com clientes sem ser turistas.

Very disappointing company. I rented the car and they took my deposit and they never returned it back into my account. They say the deposit is usually returned into 10 days, but it s been 1 month since then and no trace of my money.

IL giorno dopo la macchina non cera !? mi hanno fatto pagare per una Reno clio e mi hanno dato una cinquecento ero scioccato e loro non sapevano darmi una spiegazione. Quindi state molto attenti sono un disastro a Portimao!

Nice new branch in the centre of Portimao, very limited parking, friendly, relaxed service. Car was older, but expected at a down town branch, however was very dirty on the outside, and inside the windscreen was terrible, another annoying point which seems to be getting more common in Portugal is using only water in the windscreen washers, cost cutting at best. On return parked the car across from the branch, staff member made me move the car literally 500meters into a hotel drop off, where coaches were trying to park, wasn t very professional. Would use again, but need to focus a bit more on the finer points of rental.
