Great Service, perfect communication with immediate response. Car we rented was brand new and for a reasonable price. One of the very few companies that lets you rent the car using debit card instead of credit card. We would definitely use this company next time and recommend with no hesitation.
I used these guys this week, we booked the car through the resort reception (Colina da Lapa). They dropped off a brand new very tidy and clean car with less than 5k km on it for a very reasonable price within an hour of us booking it, (they are based in Potimao). I didnt take any chances and upgraded my insurance with them, we had a great week using the car every day to explore the area, 7days into our 8 day hire we got a puncture (good Friday). Due to the Bank Holiday we couldn't arrange a repair as everywhere was closed, we called Locauto and spoke with a really helpful lady called Christina. Within a couple of hours they brought us a replacement car and we were mobile again. They later collected the other car by tow truck as it had no spare just those awful foam spray cans and they advised us not to use the spray as it often ruins the tyre. Even the additional insurance doesn't cover tyres so I was dreading an expensive bill but was very pleasantly suprised when Christina called the following day to say everything had been sorted and the repair came to just 12 Euros. Absolutely first class service, great staff nice new cars and none of the usual rip off tactics that you hear about. I can't recommend these guys enough, we love Portugal and visit often, Locauto is now our number one choice for this region of the Algarve. Thank you Locauto.

sehr freundlicher Service, schnelle Abholung und Rückgabe, keine Überzeugungsversuche teurere Versicherung dazu zu buchen, alles unkompliziert und vertrauenswürdig. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, Auto war im super Zustand, Gebrauchsspuren wurden mir gezeigt und dazu geraten, sie zu fotografieren. Klare Weiterempfehlung :)
Alles tiptop. ***** Fahrzeugabholung problemlos, nach Vorlage des Versicherungsnachweises von Check24 kein Versuch Versicherungen abzuschließen. Das Fahrzeug war top in Ordnung und sauber. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen Fotos machen zu können. Der sehr nette Mitarbeiter hat uns sogar gezeigt, wo der Wagen bereits leichte Kratzer hat. Rückgabe ebenfalls einwandfrei. Op zeer vlotte en professionele manier werden we bijgestaan voor het huren van een wagen. We ontvingen een splinternieuwe wagen met 2000km op de teller. Vaststellen van de reeds aanwezige schade gebeurde correct evenzo bij het inleveren van de wagen. We waren zeer tevreden over deze zaak en het personeel! Een aanrader in Portimão!
Super Auto, keine Probleme. Netter Service, hat nur alles relativ lange gedauert, bis wir das Auto hatten, mit dem ganzen Eintragen und so.. aber wir hatten keine Probleme beim abgeben. 3 Tage kosten weniger als 2 Tage, das ist merkwürdig aber uns wurde das direkt gesagt und dazu geraten. Also alles supi, gern wieder!

Voiture en très bon état quasi neuve, sans souci. Par contre le service est déplorable. Les propriétaires ne respectent pas les horaires annoncées de létablissement, et ne répondent pas non plus au téléphone. A laller comme au retour, nous avons attendu plus dune heure devant létablissement avant que quelquun narrive, sans sexcuser.
Vraiment un superbe accueil, la gérante a réussi à nous trouver une voiture pour 3 jours en période estivale. Vous pouvez régulièrement échanger avec l agence par téléphone pour toutes infos complémentaires et ça c est top ! Je recommande l agence locauto
Zentral gelegene Autovermietung in Portimao. Das Auto war in sehr gutem Zustand und sauber. Der Großteil des Personals ist allerdings extrem unfreundlich und unverschämt. Wir wurden beim Betreten des Ladens zunächst ignoriert bis sich irgendwann ein Mitarbeiter uns annahm. Er war zwar freundlich, wir fühlten uns allerdings nicht gut beraten und über den Tisch gezogen, da uns direkt eine teure Kategorie angeboten wurde obwohl wir nach einem simplen Auto ohne Extras gefragt hatten. Am Ende ging es dann doch noch etwas günstiger allerdings kostet die Versicherung noch einmal extra. Einen angemessenen Kundenservice sollte man hier nicht erwarten.

Attention vous loue des GPS qui ne sont pas réinitialisés. Du coup, le GPS ne reconnait pas les nouveaux ronds-points. Donc, on se retrouve en campagne et du coup perdus. Faîtes attention à ce problème vous avez besoin. La société locauto ne veut pas reconnaître son erreur. Pas sérieux

Bon accueil par une dame très agréable, qui en plus parlait bien français et nous a très bien conseillés (y compris où stationner à petit prix pendant le sejour). Location dune Fiat 500 quasi neuve impeccable pendant 9 jours : État du véhicule fait sérieusement mais sans mesquinerie au début et a la fin. Bref, jai rendu les clefs il y a 3 jours et pour linstant tout va bien ! + 22/01/2020 Jai oublié de dire que le prix était très interessant et que je nai eu aucune mauvaise surprise par la suite comme on peut parfois le craindre quand on laisse une empreinte de Carte bancaire à un loueur de voiture...
Recommended for car rental in Portimao! Adequate prices if you take the car for three days or more. Supplement for full insurance - 9 euros per day (class B). The car is new, clean!!! The staff is friendly and speaks English. Even in the season, they found a car for rent for tomorrow!!! There are no queues, unlike the nearby rental point.
