Emerald Radiance em Porto

15-4-2023 Pinhao Portugal What a blast!! This trip is defitenly minus zero.. Staff, food are hilarious good. But the organisation is a joke !!! We could not go op the river due to nature problems. We think that is acceptabel. But there was no alternative program offered. No other options where offered. No words are enough to give meaning to our devistation. Our 5 day river cruise is a big disaster.. and now half way we are sailing back. Don't go.

A Porto / Douro based cruise ship with all Portuguese crew - and a fantastic one too. Did a 7 days trip up the scenic Douro with friends: fantastic food & drink, on board entertainment, stopovers & included sightseeing trips (Salamanca a bit special), some unexpected river locks, vineyard trips and a meal out, and some free time in Porto. If you do just one cruise, this is it.

This is great vessel. Very comfortable. Rooms small bit that is with all river cruises. Staff very very friendly. Cook's did very good job with all three meals they provided. Bar staff wow they made it very pleasant to be in lounge.

This is a very nice vessel, clean and very efficient. Good food, not gourmet but satisfying. Would have given it 5 stars but the rooms are on the small side. Had a wonderful holiday with Emerald the staff are very helpful and worked very hard to ensure we had a great stay. Thanks Emerald.

Fabulous Douro River Cruise on Emerald Radiance. Great crew, food and stunning scenery. Highly recommended with Emerald Waterways.

A river cruise up the Douro is amazing. The Emerald Radiance provides great food, service & very friendly staff. The food & selection of local wine is beyond what we expected. The tours were well planned & varied. One of our best trips! Absolutely love Portugal, especially Porto!!

We had a sickness and diarrhoea bug on board which affected everyone and I don't think it was handled at all well. In fact it wasn't recognized by anyone on board. We had to miss some of the activities. The boat however was lovely and the Douro valley was beautiful . A pity we couldn't enjoy the food and drink.

Excellent service. Rooms are tight but then the locks are tight so the ships are on the narrow side. The crew does everything for the passengers to have a pleasant time and enjoy the holiday and stay on the ship
