Horrible service! Did not explain the toll booth situation. Ended up paying so much. Car was dirty with dog hair everywhere and not what we booked. They said it was like the car.
FANTASTIC location. Pre booked on line as always and the car was ready to pick up. Very friendly end efficient staff at the counter and at the garage. Easy access by metro or train. Pick up locations are always at the garages and here, plenty of signage once you go underneath, and it is the only parking facility there, so no problems at all and highly recommend! Thanks to the staff for the great work. Cheers!!!!!
Great rate on real nice car, automatic, as promised, and good location on the south east side of town to drive out to Douro valley. Also next to the train station, if you want to take Metro to from town or airport. Friendly staff and smooth drop off the underground garage, plenty of signage once you go underneath, and it is the only parking facility there, so no problems at all and highly recommend!
It’s embarrassing the lack of signs telling you you have to go in the underground parking lot to give the car back. We wandered a bit and even tried calling, but no one answered the phone. I wonder how much it would cost them to put a sign outside the parking lot, as simple logic would suggest to do
This company is a disgrace. They allow you to book online, retain your money and then no car. You waste your time..and hope for your money back.
Porto campanha station was a convenient pickup location but check opening times, we had to wait 20 min. Slow check in as clerk had to input all details despite my entering them on line. Staff at handover had lack of knowledge about car details. Disappointed there was no USB socket for our sat nav, this should be a standard option in this day and age, luckily we had a cigarette lighter socket adapter. Car almost new(550 on clock) and we had no problems. Return to Porto airport could have been better signposted. Check in was good and staff friendly and helped with onward directions. Overall a good experience
I used Europcar's office in Campanhã to return a car originally rented in Lisbon. It's an awful location because it's inside the train station, next to a desambarking area, very difficult to park. Just after being there I found out their vacancies were underground.Even though, there isn't a person there permanently and I had to use an elevator and cross a filth area to meet them again, what I know is not their fault, but they should make that easier and faster to their clients. Just to clarify all employees in Porto were very kind, just the location was terrible.

Pessima esperienza. Abbiamo preso una 500 e ci hanno consegnato una vettura con 91.000 km e sporca sia dentro che fuori. Appena partiti ha cominciato a piovere e i tergicristalli consumati non permettevano la detersione del parabrezza, rendendo scarsa la visibilità. Quando ha smesso di piovere era impossibile tenere il parabrezza pulito perché mancava l acqua dei tergicristalli, costringendoci a fermarci ad ogni autogrill per lavare a mano il parabrezza. Non voglio pensare alla manutenzione in generale.

Finger weg von Europcar in Portugal! Der Umgang der Mitarbeiter mit Kund:innen gleicht einer kriminellen Organisation. Von Anfang ist klar: das Team von Europcar versucht einem alle möglichen Zusatzpakete zu verkaufen. Wenn Mieter nicht daran interessiert sind, versucht man bei der Abgabe des Autos Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen. Achtung! Auch Beweisfotos helfen nicht - das Team von Europcar erkennt diese nicht an, obwohl bei der Abholung auf eine überfreundliche Art darauf aufmerksam gemacht wird, dass Beweisfotos ausreichen, um zu beweisen, dass bestimmte Schäden schon vor der Vermietung bestanden haben. Wir hatten zum Glück eine Vollkaskoversicherung ohne Selbstbehalt bei der Vermietungsplattform Check24. Leider reibt sich Europcar allerdings besonders in solchen Fällen die Hände, da sie hier besonders darauf aus sind, möglichst viel Geld von der Versicherung zu erhalten. Nie wieder
No começo foi tudo bacana, mas no final não foi nada agradável, deixei uma calção de 100 euros e até hoje não recebi nenhuma informação sobre os meus gastos durante a locação e ainda estão me cobrando sem me explicar o porquê, cadê o relatório??? É minha obrigação de pagar, mas é obrigação da Europcar em me mostrar o relatório das minhas despesas. Isso é falta de transparência

Terrible process. It took 1.5hrs to be processed to pick up the car. Very slow and unpleasant. The car was not clean. Use another company.
Personal amable y atento para que lo comprendas todo, aunque el día de la recogida estaban algo desbordados por un grupo con problemas de documentos, pero en todo momento atentos, lo mismo que el personal de entrega y recogida de vehículos, muy amables, si me hace falta repetiré con ellos.

Il parcheggio è SOTTOTERRA! Non ci sono indicazioni, per cui quando arrivate andate nel parcheggio sotterraneo. Attenzione che l entrata è stretta, e dovete prendere il biglietto (che ridate al inserviente) ma comunque una vergogna nessuna segnalazione 40 minuti persi a cercare di capire dove fosse il parcheggio.

Llamo por qué he pinchado una rueda con el coche que he alquilado con ellos y me contesta la que me coje el teléfono que no me puede atender en español, que ahí solo atienden en portugués e inglés. Que no es posible atenderme en español. Para que veías a qué tipo de gente contratáis. Yo no he pedido que me hablen en español solo pido que me intenten entender igual que ella cuando me hablaba en portugués la intentaba entender y yo no sé hablar portugués. Te discriminan.

Undgå for alt i verden Europcar. Kom til en meget beskidt bil. Bilen var på ingen måder klar til udlejning, men det kunne de bestemt ikke at tage sig af. Hold dig langt væk!

Não alguém carro aqui! Tive a pior experiência da vida, começando pelo atendente André, que foi extremamente mal educado e rude desde o momento que abrimos as portas da Europcar Porto Campanhã. Nos tratou super mal, parecia que estávamos fazendo um favor. 5 horas depois de estarmos com o carro, Ele simplesmente acabou a bateria no meio da estrada. Pânico total. Chamamos o guincho e o serviço foi rápido, porém qdo chegaram percebemos que o carro estava sem triângulo, sem documento, sem nada. O tal André, além de não checar o carro, se quer mandou os Documentos necessários. Evitem essa unidade!!
The car was in very good condition, we had no problem picking up and handing over the car. The employees were very nice and everything was without problems.
It was a satisfactory trip with quick arrivals and departures and friendly staff.
Der Service war insofern gut, das in der Tiefgarage, bei den Europcar Stellplätzen, ein Mitarbeiter wartete. Insofern brauchte man nicht erst in die Station. Schlecht ist, das es keinerlei Ausschilderung gibt im Vorbahnhofsgelände, das man in die Tiefgarage fahren muss und natürlich an der Zufahrt zu dieser ein Ticket ziehen muss, welches man dann dem Europcar Mitarbeiter gibt. Bloß gut, das ich diesen Hinweis vorab in den Rezessionen hier gelesen habe. Hallo Europcar ändert dies oder gebt den Hinweis bei Start der Anmietung, egal wo, denn da ist der Abgabeort ja bekannt.

Die Station war am Bahnhof (für mich) schwierig zu finden. Die Rezeption befindet sich am Bahnsteig, von draußen nicht ausgeschildert. Die Rückgabe erfolgte in der Tiefgarage, was von draußen auch nicht ausgeschildert war. Man muss rein, ein Ticket ziehen (diese gibt man bei der Rückgabe mit ab) und der Beschilderung von Europcar folgen. Die Übergabe war schnell und problemlos. Noch bevor ich das Parkhaus verlassen hatte, hatte ich das Rückgabeprotokoll per Mail bekommen.
Je me suis pris une amende parce que je suis allée sur lautoroute alors que javais payé loption utilisation de lautoroute! Ça fait 6 mois que jessaye de me faire rembourser. Attention, ils ne prennent pas la carte de crédit débit comme on la connait. Et si vous louez sur internet, vous aurez des frais de tout genre lorsque vous irez récupérer la voiture.

Our car was very clean and had enough room for our 2 big suitcases. One in the trunk and one in the back seat . Using the toll transponder was easy to pay for the many toll roads were were on. Sometimes we would drive the old back roads on the way to somewhere and return to our hotel via the main toll freeways. Using our phone for GPS was fine. Very slow picking up our car at Europcar Porto Campana as there was only 1 employee. Took over an hour to get it.
Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, die Wartezeit kurz.Leider hatte unser Panda mit erst 11.000km keine Kofferraumabdeckung, was für 10 Tage schon suboptimal ist.Das konnte weder in Porto noch in anderen Stationen behoben werden,bzw. das Auto in unserer Kategorie getauscht werden.

Good service, vehicle was in great condition and drop off at Lisbon airport was seamless. Wondering though, how long does the fuel deposit take to be refunded.
We had a bad experience the last time we visited Portugal and rented a car. This time we read the rewiews on every single rental office an choose this one because of no one mentioned any scams. We had a great experience this time. The price was what we had expected, they went through the car and noted every little scratch and there were no surprices. We highly recommend this place!
The gentleman at Europcar Porto Campanha was very friendly and efficient, spoke excellent English and got our car rental off to a very good start.

Apesar do cuidado e simpatia dos funcionários, tivemos uma péssima experiência pois tínhamos agendado levantar o carro às 10h e depois das 11h ainda não havia carro para nos entregar e não nos deram alternativa senão esperar...ficámos desapontadas, pois viemos em trabalho e tínhamos horários para cumprir. Para uma rent a car tão conceituada deixou muito a desejar

De man aan de receptie was een beetje gestressed... Maar de man in de garage, was supervriendelijk. We kregen een mooie Fiat 500 mee in uitstekende staat waar we lekker mee hebben getourd.

Awful. They bundled me a toll pass machine. They get flagged as fraud trying to take the payment for the tolls. 6 months later they send me a bill threatening legal action unless I pay the tolls, again get flagged as fraud trying to take the money. In the end i had to do an international money transfer to pay the 40euros. Complete waste of my time. I will never use these clown again
Eravamo convinti di esserci trovati benissimo, ma non è stato così. Abbiamo pagato un costo extra per attivare la macchinetta per il pedaggio (che suonava regolarmente), tuttavia ben un anno dopo hanno cominciato ad arrivarci delle multe proprio per il mancato pedaggio. Trattandosi di un ente autostradale internazionale, la procedura per ottenere il rimborso era molto complicata e purtroppo abbiamo preferito pagare. Desideravamo tutelarci da qualsiasi inconveniente, ma nemmeno questo è bastato...
ARNAQUEURS !!! Je suis allée à Porto le 2 novembre, j ai loué la voiture sur internet, tout s est très bien passé. Puis le 22 novembre, de retour en France depuis 2 semaines, je vois un prélèvement de leur part. Aucune information à ce sujet, rien. J ai tenté de les contacter à plusieurs reprises, aucune nouvelle, personne ne répond. Une grande marque pour faire de grosses arnaques. Si vous le faites à chaque client vous vous faites un sacré pourboire. À fuir au plus haut point, à part si vous voulez leur donner de l argent gratuitement

Car renting made easy. Uncomplicated, friendly, good cars. The office itself is a little difficult to find (it is in the left side inside the rail station), but all the rest was excellent.
I can recommend you to rent a car here. Good service and gentle and serviceminded staff.

Estación muy cómoda para llegar desde cualquier punto de Porto y recoger el coche de alquiler. El chico muy profesional y resolutivo, muy contenta con todo el proceso de alquiler con Europcar.
Péssima sinalização na estação de Campanha. Um absurdo termos que esperar até às 15hrs para entregar o carro!

Renting a car from Campanha railway station is convenient because the place is close to Bonfim and one of the main highway access.

Atenção não aluguem carros neste estabelecimento não são confiáveis o site de reembolso não presta, os funcionários são mal educados e não tem nenhum respeito pelo cliente ,estou decepcionada.

Não tive uma experiência muito boa pois demoraram para cancelar a caução no meu cartão de crédito, e os preços são melhores que a avis mas pela minha experiência a avis vale mais pena.
Localização péssima para um Turista... Sou Rececionista de Hotel e tive que me dirigir com um hóspede que esteve 30 minutos perdido sem saber como fazer a entrega do carro. Após isso, eu mesmo senti-me perdido após não existir sinalizações de como e onde deixar o carro.... Como adivinhar que o carro tem que ser deixado no Parque de estacionamento da estação? Procurem sinalizar, nem que seja na documentação o procedimento de como fazer a entrega, pois é muito confuso!

Good service but I have booked Ford Mondeo or similar full size car and got... Mercedes A180d sedan... Take it or leave it because there is no other car available... for family with two kids, 3 big and 3 cabin luggages for Porto-Lisbon-Alvor 1400 km trip. We left one luggage forever in Porto because of lack of space.

I had read bad reviews but I had hoped it wouldn t be true. Unfortunately, it was and I waited over an hour and a half to pick up my reserved vehicle. What a disaster. To their credit, the employees all seemed competent and friendly, the wait was just wayyyy too long so they clearly needed more people. I can only hope the drop off in Lisbon isn t as terrible.

Aluguer por 5 dias, aluguei na internet como já o faço a 7 anos, e é a minha terceira decepção, primeira num aluguer a cerca de ano e meio, carro com muitos kilomètros todo sujo e a cheirar mal, fiz uma reclamação com fotos, liguei várias vezes e ainda estou a espera de resposta, segunda setembro mesmas condições e agora em dezembro a mesma coisa, carro com pneus carecas e fazia um barulho enorme na estrada, nunca mais alugo carros na Europcar. Não recomendo

First time rented a car and a deposit has been returned (3-5 days wait after return) without any issue. Remember - always add premium cover to avoid any problems and take a pictures of a whole car. Thank you Europcar.
I would suggest using the other location as a drop off. You need to drop the car off in a garage near the train station (the GPS did not know this!) and the hours are better at the other location.

Jai loué une Opel Corsa il y a 1 semaine , jai fait le plein avant de quitter Lisbonne et en arrivant à Porto je nai pas ajouté de lessence mais jai bien regardé il manqué moins du 1/4 par rapport au compteur, en arrivant à Paris et en regardant mon compte jai constaté quils mont prélevé 65 pour à peine 10 litres ce sont des vrais voleurs à éviter à tout prix.
