My Dream Come Tour ® em Porto

We just got back from Portugal and one of the highlights of our trip was a wonderful day experience in the Douro Valley arranged by Ana. She did an excellent job of arranging our day from pick-up to drop-off with Rui Helder who was very knowledgeable about the region. We had an early morning pick-up right from our hotel and started out on out journey. Our first stop was the village of Amarante, a cute town with very interesting pastry shaped goodies, (you will have to look that up on your own). Then we ventured deeper into the Douro Valley and enjoyed a beautiful boat ride for about an hour. Ana selected a wonderful restaurant for lunch: Seixo by Vasco Coelho Santos where we had a lovely setting for a delicious meal followed up with a 40 year tawny port that was delicious and our first experience with port wine. After lunch we did some more sightseeing stopping for photographs along the way. Our next stop was to a beautiful vineyard for our wine tasting experience at Quinta do Ventozelo. The wines were fabulous and as a special treat our wine tasting guide gave us each some more port which was also excellent. I am now a new port drinker. We wandered around the beautiful grounds until sunset and then Rui drove us back to our hotel giving us a full and delightful day in the Douro Valley. I highly recommend My Dream Come Tour!

Helder was such a kind, respectful individual during our tour of the beautiful Douro Valley. He is full of insightful information about this area. His assistant, Ana, made a lunch reservation for me & my husband at Fonte Nova which was a perfect choice for traditional, delicious Portuguese gastronomy made with love. We went to two different wineries, one was a smaller, family owned property with the most gracious host & the other was a larger, more modern facility with a charismatic host. Perfect day, perfect tour guide. 😊🍷🍶

We had an amazing experience touring Douro Valley with My Dream Come Tour! Ana was super helpful and responsive during the booking process, and made perfect, personalized recommendations for our day. She even checked in a couple times during the day (and after) to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Our driver, Hélder, was fabulous… and knew everything about, literally, everything! He was also very friendly and easy to talk to. We enjoyed coffee and almond pastries in Amarante (on the way out), visited multiple wineries, gained a new appreciation for Port wine, savored an incredible lunch, and immersed ourselves in the beauty of Portugal’s countryside. The tour was really well organized and perfectly executed.

Ana was right on it. She asked for input and sent information. Ana booked us a fantastic typical lunch and an amazing wine tasting. Rui was just full of information and always made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend!

Ana coordinated a full experience for us. We stayed at their loft apartment, What a beautiful home with spectacular views! The space was perfect for my husband and I, a wonderful coffee spot in the morning, ending the day with a very comfortable spacious living area and a lovely bottle of wine in the evening! (Wine which was carefully selected by Ana). Our journey started with Ana arranging our airport pickup. Ana arranged along with her tour partner, Riu to greet us. he is amazing, friendly and professional, which conducted private tours / arranged by Ana. it is travel made fun. Professional, informative and easy! Once we arrived at the apartment, we were met by Joanna, which was extremely kind and helpful, showed us around and had a welcome gift and fresh pastries and port wine awaiting us. Ana and her team have great attention to detail, from the design, cleanliness to her Porto recommendations / restaurants and private tour arrangements. We loved our stay! Helder was the best tour guide that we engaged with to see and learn about Portugal during our Douro Valley tour! He knows everything about all the towns we were visiting (we road tripped from Porto to Tavira) and he guided us throughout our trip thru What’s App … I really can’t say enough good things about this knowledgeable and nice person ! He helped us create a once in a life time experience thru this professional agency — I feel like I made a friend! You will have an enriched experience with this Helder!

Had the most wonderful tour with Rui our very informative driver for the day. We organised this a few days before arriving in Porto. We were picked up at our hotel stopped for coffee and had plenty photo opportunities. We had a delicious meal that Ana booked for us at a wonderful restaurant on the balcony overlooking the river then onto a boat trip. Then we went to a family run winery with our host the lovely Giles Can highly recommend My Dream Come Tour an amazing experience and can honestly say it was the best part of our holiday. Highly recommend ! Just spent day with Rui visiting the Douro Valley. Rui knows all the best spots without all the crowds. He was also full of knowledge which made the day even more interesting.
