I am extremely disappointed! I rented a car back in August, and to this day, I have not received my deposit back. Despite contacting you multiple times via email and phone, I have either been ignored or, when I do manage to speak with your customer service, they hang up on me after I explain the situation. This has gone too far. You claim the deposit was sent, yet you cannot provide any proof of this via email to confirm it. Yes, I have your customer email address, and yes, I’ve already contacted you through it. If this issue isn’t resolved, we’ll settle this in court.
I rented a car for the first time at Guerin near Porto airport. It was fast and easy, customer service was great they assisted me with entering my information in the kiosk. There were no hidden fees, they didn’t pressure me to pay for their insurance knowing that my credit card had coverage. It was fast and easy picking up the car and dropping it off. There was a shuttle bus that came often to transport you to and from the airport with your luggage’s. I would rent a car from them again. My experience was positive.
Awful company and awful customer relations. I had a minor accident hitting a wall in an underground car park. I was charged over 1300 euros for the damage (see attached photo) and was told that parts and labour were expensive, even though it's obvious it would cost a third of that to fix. My insurance company say they have broken the rental agreement and should not have charged over the agreed deposit/excess amount. Have been trying to get a response from Guerin customer relations by phone and email for over 3 weeks now with no luck. I feel utterly conned by this company.
I had a very good service from Guerin when we booked through Enterprise UK. The arrival and collection process is the best I have ever experienced with fast auto check in. The car was great. The after sales customer service was brilliant too as they email you after collection with a personal assistant there to answer any queries. We had to drop off our car out of hours at Lisbon airport and the process was fine. We did not have any suggestion that we had damaged the car as we had not damaged it and the staff at Guerin were honest with us. I recommend Guerin in Portugal and will use again
Our experience with Guerin was exceptional—one of the smoothest car rentals we've had, and we rent frequently. The checkout process was seamless, completed at a terminal, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a hybrid automatic vehicle that exceeded our expectations. Based on other reviews, we took extensive photos and videos, even under the car, but this turned out to be unnecessary in our case. The return process was simple, fast, and pleasant, with a full refund minus highway costs processed very quickly. Overall, this was one of the best car rental experiences we've had, and I regret being so stressed initially due to some negative comments I had read. Highly recommend!
There don't exist any other companies in the car rental business like this completely transparency, hassle-free, no hidden markups, all upfront pricing, and for the price value what I got was an absolute deal. Employees Great and friendly for explaining even the small details. Everything went smoothly. Staffs were friendly and there is shuttle between the office and airport. Always take photo and video before hand so avoid issues.
I wanted to be sure to post a review after our rental as I was extremely nervous going into this based on the other reviews I had read. We had a FANTASTIC experience from start to finish. Very easy to find the shuttle to take you to the rental place. We pre-checked in online via an email that was sent, but upon arrival you check out your vehicle from a kiosk so it was super quick, no haggling or getting upsold by a rude worker (like we've experienced here in the states). There were also 3 workers there to help with the process if needed. A worker brought around the car very quickly. I took photos of the vehicle alongside him since a lot of the reviews talked about getting charged for the smallest of scratches. Brought it back and someone was right there to check it in - had no issues or hidden charges. Everything was as described/agreed up. Would HIGHLY recommend Guerin Porto Airport!
Expérience catastrophique avec Guerin. Vendredi 24 janvier à 23h30, j ai eu affaire à un conseiller au comportement inadmissible. Non seulement je n ai pas pu louer la voiture à cause de ma carte, qui est une carte de débit et non de crédit, mais en plus, l information dans leur mail en français est mal traduite !!!! et trompeuse. Cela m a fait perdre 100 euros, une situation totalement injuste et frustrante qui ressemble à une arnaque bien organisée pour piéger les clients. Pour couronner le tout, le vendeur s est permis de m insulter à voix basse, un comportement totalement irrespectueux et inacceptable. À cela s ajoute le fait que mon cousin m avait déjà déconseillé cette compagnie après avoir été arnaqué sur sa caution. Je déconseille fortement cette société : manque de transparence, mauvais service et mépris total des clients.
DO NOT RENT HERE! They give you cars in deplorable conditions, they tell you that they take photos and when you return it, they dont take the photos that you take because nothing can be seen in their pixelated ones, they turn a blind eye. They dont take care of anything and they want to scam you!!!! If you want to avoid problems, dont rent in this place!!!!!!

Tutto perfetto! Allarrivo il nostro volo era in ritardo e siamo arrivati dopo lorario di chiusura. Fortunatamente abbiamo trovato gli uffici ancora aperti e siamo riusciti a ritirare la macchina (anche se con una piccola penale). Macchina perfetta, istruzioni chiare e nessuna sorpresa
J ai loué une yaris hybride. Récupération de la voiture très facile. Les conseillers sont disponibles et professionnels. La validation de l état de la voiture avec le portable est simple d utilisation. La restitution le matin à 7h15 s est bien passée. Aucun problème et la navette nous attendait pour le retour à l aéroport. Rien à dire. Première fois avec Guerin et aucun problème. À renouveler
Une agence à éviter ! Ils profitent des étrangers. Lors de la prise de la voiture ils se permettent de parler entre eux de nous comme « des personnes de montagnes » en pensant que nous comprenons pas le portugais. Au moment de rendre le véhicule on nous indique que nous pouvons aller prendre notre avion et qu ils vont réaliser le check eux même . On attends 30 minutes car nous voulons le faire avec eux pour éviter tout problème. On réalise donc le checking avec CARMENDA SANTOS de la société GUERIN qui nous indique que tout est bon, je signe donc le document sur la tablette. En rentrant de voyage je me rends compte qu il ont envoyé aucun document et qu ils ont prélevé 600 euros sur ma carte bancaire. Ils disent que la voiture est abîmé. J avais pris des photos prouvant que la voiture n avait rien. Ils sont incapables de nous prouver et d envoyer une photo de leurs propos. Je ne cesse de les appeler pour leurs demander des documents, jusqu à aujourd hui j ai toujours rien reçu. Prendre de l argent de la caution et plus répondre ils savent le faire.

Belle perte de temps que de réserver une voiture et de se voir signifier qu il faudra une carte de crédit pour récupérer la voiture . J appelle comme le conseille OPODO pour trouver une solution . Après avoir entendu longtemps au tel ( ils vous raccrochent au moins 3 fois ) , ils me répondent qu ils ne me remettront pas la voiture . Eh bien , très bien , je viens d annuler et vous êtes BlackListée . Surtout ne prenez pas la peine de répondre .

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, Everything was okay until the return of the car. I arrive to the rental car after 3 week of rent. When I arrive to Guerin Enterprise a young woman says that she want to give a check to the car. After some minutes she calls me and says that there is a damage in the right corner of the car. When I retire the car I make a photo to the right corner of the car because it was a littble bit scratched. So I went to her with the photo but she says that the damage was on the wheel. We are talking about the damage of the FIRST PHOTO that I load (this is the photo that the company send to me with the details of the damage). [if you are able to found the damage you have a two really nice eyes]. After a little bit of discussion where I was explaining that there weren t any and with the young women that was continuing to say that she hasn t the power to decide and she was just doing is job I ask for a manager. So I went inside and the man that was waiting for me was chatting on the phone without considering me. I discussed with him for some minutes and after that I ask to go outside on the car. When I return on the car the wheels was different and there was a bigger scratch!! I m pretty sure that the scratch was done when I was talking inside with the man. I was furios but everyone told me that they are just doing their job []. I was tired and so I have to pay but they say that was everything automatic because my company have already paid for the card with the card. So I didn t know how much I would have to paid (I think and I m pretty sure that this if for make you tired). After half an hour they send me an e-mail with the details. MY COMPANY WOULD HAVE TO PAY 116,10! It s incredible that they can do what they want. I will never return to this company!
Was a great rental until they haven t sent me the remainder of my deposit back since mid September.. numerous times they have said I will have it in 2 working days. that seems to be where it ends as I still haven t gotten it. I hope everyone is not treated this way.
Als Stammkunde von Europcar, habe ich nun das erste Mal Guerin Enterprise über den ADAC genutzt und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Check in super einfach , kurze Wartezeit, super nettes Personal , moderne gepflegt Fahrzeuge , genauso entspannt war auch die Abgabe des Fahrzeuges und ein sonderlob an Herr Nuno, der alles erklärt hat, vielen Dank . Ab sofort nur noch Enterprise
Uma das melhores locadoras de viaturas. Pela primeira vez pude guiar um híbrido e achei fixe.
Wir haben unseren Mietwagen in Porto abgeholt. Wir wurden unkompliziert an die vermietungsstation gefahren rund 1 Km vom Flughafen entfernt. Die Abholung wird an mehren Tablet durchgeführt (verschiedene Sprachen verfügbar). Hat super funktioniert und haben dann den Schlüssel für Fahrzeug bekommen. Das Auto war sauber und entsprach der gebuchten Kategorie.

God awful experience. Their systems messed up and changed my booking name and wouldnt validate my drivers insurance, and then tried to double charge our reservation multiple times. Even after identifying the issues the desk backing told us to f off and wouldnt help us at all to resolve the slew of issues that the company was charging.

Horrible! Day after car was returned WITHOUT any additional damage they send me an email claiming I have to transfer damage exess plus additional money to some random Portuguese bank account. Next day they charged my cc with an excess. The car was returned without new damages and was confirmed by the exployee. Scam Update: Ok, to be fair after, eventually they acknowledged the mistake and refunded 500eur they took. I cannot say it was an easy and stressless process as well as their email communication is very slow. If I would not take pictures before I accepted the car I would have lost 500eur.
Cuidado a quem alugar pela plataforma da Uber, os preços ate sao bons mas só apos a reserva é informado que precisa de ter cartão de credito. O cartão de debito não é valido. Mas não devolvem o valor da reserva. Experiência que não recomendo

Attention, pour la location de voiture électrique, il ny a pas de borne de recharge à proximité de lagence de location, Guerin prend 50 de prise en charge pour effectuer la recharge du véhicule en plus de la consommation. Cest du vol
J ai loué une voiture comme d habitude Je suis arrivé à 00h15 mon vol avait 1h30h de retard j ai du payé 45 je n ai jamais vu ça Dans les autres compagnies. Pour moi c est fini je ne loué plus guerin.
Burlões e Ladrões. Todo um esquema para reterem a caução e imputarem danos aos clientes. O local de entrega dos carros é pouco iluminado, como tal impossível de ver todos os danos. Ao devolver a viatura o funcionário mal abriu a porta reparou num buraco mínimo no tecido do banco. O tal buraco era impossível de ver nas condições em que nos foi entregue o carro e como tal não temos como provar que já lá estava. Ficaram com a caução e a única forma de reclamar é através de um email. A responsável de loja é intransigente e incompreensiva. NÃO RECOMENDO Fiz exposição ontem por volta das 12h de dia 14/11 através do email mencionado, e até agora, 24h depois, não obtivemos qualquer tipo de resposta Número de contrato: 4988656 15/11 - Mais um dia que passou e que continuo sem resposta ao email e com o Meu dinheiro retido. A isto chamo ROUBO!!!!!!!
Étant client depuis des années, ce fût la dernière fois que je loues une voiture chez eux. Au check-in en fin de location, personne pour receptionner la voiture, ni de navette pour me conduire au terminal de aéroport de Porto, alors que jai attendu lheure douverture (7:00). Le pire, cest quils mont débité 258,72 sur ma carte de crédit pour dégats sur le véhicule. Par téléphone ils mont dit quil y avait une griffe sur la voiture, quand je leur ai dit que javais pris des photos de véhicule et quil ny avait aucune griffe lors de restitution, on ma dit de contacter le service client par mail. Ce que jai fait, mais pas de réponse. Quand jai finalement reçus les documents de fin de location(après 2 mois), je constaste que le montant débité (258.72 ) cétait parce quiil manquait la cordelette du cache-bagage, qui était déjà absente lorsque jai eu véhicule. Après avoir fait une réclamation online sur le site Livro de reclamações, Guerin ma finalement contacté et ma remboursé les montants perçus en trop.
Péssima experiência com esta empresa de aluguer de carros. Aluguei um carro elétrico pela primeira vez, e o serviço foi decepcionante desde o início. No momento do levantamento, a informação fornecida foi praticamente inexistente. Deram-me apenas um cabo de carregamento lento, sem qualquer explicação sobre o uso ou alternativas de carregamento rápido. Para devolver o carro, era impossível cumprir a exigência de bateria cheia devido à limitação do equipamento fornecido. Mesmo assim, fui cobrado uma taxa absurda de 50 euros pelo enchimento. Esta situação mostra total falta de profissionalismo e desrespeito pelo cliente. Não recomendo esta empresa a ninguém e espero que revejam as suas práticas para evitar prejudicar outros clientes. Reclamei por e-mail apenas disseram que era o que estava no contrato e como não estava cheio não podem fazer nada, inadmissível. Nunca mais.

Agence de location à fuire. Le personnel nest pas aimable. Le véhicule réservé nest pas disponible à notre arrivée et nous sommes surclassé sur un véhicule qui nest pas en très bonne état et qui au bout de quelques kilomètres a le voyant dentretien et vidange qui sallume . La réception du véhicule est faite avec légèreté, ce personnel na pas le temps, peu dexplications et je suis obligé de sortir lappareil photo pour immortaliser les divers dégâts sur le véhicule afin déviter les surprises au retour. Le retour sest fait un jour de forte affluence. On nous fait se garer en entrée de parc quasiment sur la route et on vous speed pour vider la voiture et faire le constat de retour. Heureusement que mon épouse est portugaise et que nous avions les photos... A savoir que votre empreinte de carte bancaire reste dans leur base et que 4 mois après il mont débiter 30 de frais administratifs pour une soi-disant amende de stationnement sur Lisbonne. Gardant tous mes justificatifs de déplacement je leur ai envoyé pour démontrer que javais règlé mon stationnement à lhoraire et date concerné. Ils nont rien voulu comprendre et ont indiqué que les 30 sont seulement des frais administratifs et non le règlement de lamende que je nai pas reçu. Cest un peu trop facile dagir comme ça ! Je vais souvent au Portugal et vous pouvez croire que je ne mettrai plus les pieds chez Guerin ! Il y a énormément de concurence sur le secteur de laéroport donc ce nest pas un souci. Un conseil revoyez votre politique commerciale et ne prenez pas vos clients pour des imbéciles.
Jai loué une Toyota Yaris 2024 avec Guérin Enterprise entre le 26 septembre et le 3 octobre 2024. Tout a bien été jusquà ce que je rapporte lauto à Lisbonne, il y avait une craque dans le haut de pare-brise. Cette craque nétait aucunement perceptible de lextérieur avec la pointe dun crayon ou un ongle. Cette craque a été causée par un stress de la structure de la voiture ou un choc thermique causée par lélément chauffant de la caméra situé derrière le rétroviseur intérieur doù justement débutait la fameuse craque. Donc, ceci est même garantie par Toyota ! Dailleurs, jai trouvé plusieurs cas similaires sur le Web et Toyota remplace le pare-brise sur garantie. Bref, malgré mes explications à Guérin, un montant de $510 Eu est pris sur ma carte de crédit et il se peut quil fasse remplacer le pare-brise sans payer sous garantie ! Éric Beauchemin
Betrüger! Bei der Abgabe des Mietwagens wurde alles gecheckt und geklärt, die Mitarbeiterin sagte uns es sei alles in Ordnung und wünschte uns einen schönen Abend. Einen Tag später kommt eine Rechnung über 68 EUR über einen angeblichen Schaden, den wir verursacht haben, was völliger Quatsch ist. Wieso wurde das dann nicht schon bei der Abgabe geregelt? Ich werde keinen Cent bezahlen und diese Verbrecher in Zukunft meiden und würde jedem davon abraten. EDIT: Der Kundenservice der unter der E-Mail-Adresse hier angegeben ist hat seit einer Woche nicht auf meine Frage geantwortet und jetzt wurde noch die komplette Kaution (die vorher nur vorgemerkt war) abgebucht. So etwas habe ich bei über 40 Mietwagen die ich in meinem Leben schon gemietet habe noch nie erlebt. Absolute Katastrophe.
Beware of rip-offs! The return must be made within opening hours, otherwise it will be claimed that damage has been caused and you will be charged. In our case, over 400 for an alleged scratch on the rear bumper! Even the video recordings we made, on which no scratch is visible, were not accepted as counter-evidence. You are powerless or hire a lawyer, who will probably cost more, but I dont care. This scam must not be successful. If anyone wants to join a lawsuit, they are welcome to contact us - adfiltec GmbH.
DO NOT USE! Terrible experience with Guerin Porto. Received a charge of 200 after the rental because I removed the cap on the door handle to open the car manually with the key. I left the cap inside the car. They charged me 200 to put it back on. Rude customer service, no response to emails, had to call up many times and I was told there was nothing I could do and was called a liar. Beware of this company.
Third time customer, third time I was a victim of a bait and switch scam. They didnt have the model or any other model of the make of the car they were advertising. No more Guerin...

Foi pena ter recebido uma carrinha Fiat Tipo sem sensores atrás ..Em vez de um Nissan Qashqai ou idêntico como a Reserva que eu fiz!!

C est appaisant de louer chez Guerin : - 6 bornes à l accueil sont disponibles afin de remplir le contrat en langue française grâce au numéro de réservation. - puis une hôtesse vient contrôler notre inscription puis nous remettre les clés du véhicule, à chercher à côté. - Auto quasi neuve avec GPS et badge péage intégrés. - l hôtesse nous dit de prendre les coups en photo. Et c est parti ! Rapidité, efficacité, bon véhicule et amabilité. Que demander de plus ? Nous recevrons un mail très rapidement afin qu ils déduisent de la CB les factures péages. Correct. Merci Guerin, on se reverra avec plaisir et sans craintes de se faire arnaquer : )
Alles bestens geklappt, uns wurde bei Übergabe des Fahrzeuges empfohlen ein Video vom Fahrzeug zu machen, damit vorgängige Schäden ersichtlich sind. Abgabe hat auch wiederum problemlos geklappt, gerne wieder!
Keine Empfehlung. Abholung des Autos war gut, das Fahrzeug an sich war gut. Bei Abholung wurde uns ein Schaden bemängelt, den wir bei Abholung gemeldet hatten, der also nicht von uns verursacht wurde. Leider wurde uns dieser Schaden trotzdem in Rechnung gestellt und gleichzeitig die Kaution eingezogen. Wir warten nun seit 4 Wochen auf die Rückgabe der Kaution, nachdem wir widerwillig den Schaden bezahlt haben. Schließlich sind 70 weniger als 600 Kaution, die uns sonst fehlen. Werden dieses Unternehmen in Zukunft meiden.
For my vacation in Porto Portugal I rented a car in the amount of $580.00 dollars when picking up the vehicle after waiting for 1 hour they didn t have my vehicle therefore they provided me with another car NEVER EVER mention any extra charges . When I dropped off the vehicle they said that they would check it make sure everything was ok and I would get the repot on an email, I knew the vehicle was in perfect condition however they charged my CC &480 for an upgrade that they never told me about and scratches that I didn t do . Therefore I will never go with them again.
I strongly advise against renting a car from this company. They falsely claimed damages and charged my credit card for over 2000 $ without justification. The photos they provided were zoomed in and unclear, making it impossible to verify if they were from the car we rented, see picture. When I requested more concrete evidence, they stopped responding altogether, even if we had pictures at the check out proving the car had no damages. I have to work with my credit card company to dispute the charges. Special mention to Bruno Farula, Carlos W, Andre Rodrigues, and Marisa Rodrigues, whose lack of transparency and communication added to this frustrating experience. If you value honesty and accountability, avoid this company. All the positives reviews are for sure fake. If anybody received the same fake photo of damages, please contact me.
Une société de location inadmissible et un personnel qui n écoutent pas ses clients. Nous avions réservé un véhicule avec assurance tout comprise qui n était pas celui attendu. Nous avions donc faire un surclassement pour avoir le véhicule de base. Un coût supplémentaire à effectuer. Cependant, à la fin la durée, nous pouvions partir sans faire le tour du véhicule. Nous n avions pas accepté, nous avions signé le document de remise du véhicule avec aucunes rayures. Ils n ont pas pris la peine de nous envoyer le contrat de fin de location avec restitution du véhicule. Nous avions fait preuve de patience cependant ils nous ont pris la caution sans aucun prétexte. Nous les avons appelé, et ils osent dire qu il y a des rayures alors que nous avions fait la restitution avec un personnel de chez eux. C est honteux et inadmissible.
My reservation was canceled without any reason. I didn t get any notification about that and they left me totally on my own at the airport without the car. I lost my time and had a very unpleasant experience. Not recommend.
Je loue souvent jai même changer 1 de mes carte en carte de crédit pour les location. Arrivé au comptoir il me dise que la carte pas bonne je sort donc une de débit lautre de crédit et cest écris noir sur blanc sur la carte et il me refuse et moblige de rajouter un 2eme conducteur donc des frais supplémentaires. Et par contre il encaisse avec ma carte et je vous parle de lamabilité a fuir
Vooraf reservering gemaakt. Auto afhalen was erg gemakkelijk via de self service. Binnen 10 minuten reden we weg. We kregen een relatief oude auto met veel schade. Ik adviseer om alle schade op foto te zetten, zodat je bij het inleveren geen problemen krijgt.
Wir hatten erst eine falsche Adresse im Navi zum Auffinden der Guerin Station, aber wenn man einfach guckt, wo die ganzen Rent a Car Stationen sind, findet man es gut. Der Abholprozess war sehr gut organisiert, man gibt seine Daten an einem SB Terminal ein und zahlt dort auch. Es sind ausreichend Mitarbeiter zur Unterstützung da. Unser Auto stand auch direkt zur Verfügung. Die vorhandenen Kratzer und macken werden professionell aufgenommen und der Mitarbeiter kam mit zum Auto, sodass man noch fragen klären konnte. Fiz uma reserva e paguei pela booking.com o aluguel de um Audi Q4 E-tron, e cancelaram quando eu estava no caminho de buscar a viatura. E pior, apensar do cancelamento deles, o pagamento está cativo no meu cartão de crédito para pagamento. Não recomendo!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Guerin Rental Cars at Lisbon International. After renting a vehicle, the clutch failed just 23 miles into my trip, despite being very knowledgeable of driving manual cars and driving it under normal conditions. I had purchased the highest level of insurance, yet Guerin is now forcing me to cover the cost of repairs without providing any clear justification for the charges. To make matters worse, their back-office supervisor, Monica Anna, was unhelpful and dismissive. Instead of addressing the issue directly, she chose to ignore my emails and calls, showing a complete lack of customer service. I expected far better from a company of this size, but instead, I was met with arbitrary charges and poor communication. As an Executive Elite member in National s loyalty program, I expected better than this. I will be escalating my concerns with Enterprise and hopefully they ll take notice to the several complaints of similar nature and find a better provider in Portugal. I strongly advise against renting from Guerin unless you re prepared to deal with unexpected charges and unresponsive staff. Go with Avis.
Nous avons loué une petite voiture avec Guerin à l aéroport de Porto. L expérience a été très bonne. Une navette était disponible rapidement à notre arrivée, une fois sur place, l enregistrement se fait sur une borne informatique. Le personnel est disponible pour nous aider et la voiture a été prête très rapidement également. Le seul petit bémol est que la voiture était plutôt vieille (59000km) et pas mal abîmée (elle avait été forcée quelques temps avant) mais elle était hybride et à fait le travail. Nous réutiliserons Guerin sans hésiter pour nos prochains voyages au Portugal.
Je suis furieux ! Malgré une réservation confirmée, ces incapables ont refusé ma carte de crédit, prétendant qu elle ne fonctionnerait pas pour la caution. Résultat : je me retrouve à Porto sans véhicule ! Et pour couronner le tout, aucun remboursement possible ! À fuir absolument ! Si je pouvais, je mettrais 0 étoile. Heureusement, le concurrent d à côté m a chaleureusement accueilli et tout a parfaitement fonctionné avec ma soi-disant « mauvaise » carte. Quelle honte !

Beaucoup de mails et SMS avec informations pas assez claires. Jai reçu un SMS la veille de mon départ me demandant de menregistrer à lavance pour gagner du temps lors de la prise du véhicule, or si vous allez au bout de la procédure et lisez attentivement tous les détails, vous signez comme quoi que la voiture na pas de défaut... Arrivés le lendemain sur place, vous devez saisir vous mêmes toutes vos coordonnées sur une borne. Puis vous seul ferez le contrôle de la voiture via un site web, vous devrez photographier les défauts et donner une description de chaque photos. Si cest trop long, votre cession expire et vous devez tout recommencer. Longue attente, très peu de personnel (remplacé par des bornes et envoi de mails automatiques) voiture pas en ordre, sale, pneus limite. Par contre, à la restitution il y a bien un gars qui fait un contrôle minutieux et trouve le détail que vous avez loupé, vous faut signer sur une tablette en vous disant que cest juste une formalité de retour et que pour le fameux détail il faudra voir avec son collègue du desk... Bien sûr, votre signature est prise en compte comme reconnaissance du défaut, aucune assurance ne le prends en charge car cest à lintérieur de lhabitacle.... Si je navais pas gardé mon calme + je parle portugais + jai dû longuement expliquer et argumenté que je nai pas pû provoquer ce défaut + la personne du desk volontaire et honnête, jaurais tout pris dans le... On me dis que cest OK en me montrant sur un document que 0 défaut mest attribué, sauf que je reçois 30 minutes plus tard un email avec 2 pièces jointes, le document avec 0 défaut et un autre dans lequel le défaut mest imputé... A ce jour ma caution de carte de crédit nest pas encore libérée...

Mais après avoir contacté Booking par qui j étais passé pour la réservation et après avoir fait quelques mails à Guerin. Jai été remboursée des 100 euros pris en trop

Paguei a reserva online, e não me deixaram levantar o carro porque o meu cartão é de débito. Devolveram o dinheiro mais tarde, mas por causa disto perdi o valor da reserva do hotel na cidade para onde ía com o carro.

Aucune aide au comptoir Guerin aéroport qui ne savait que nous reprocher davoir une visa incompatible..nous traversons et louons chez Hertz sans aucun problème avec la même carte !!!.Guerin a fuir ne répond toujours pas a notre demande de remboursement et nous parlons portugais ! Nous louons 2 fois par an et avons voulu tester un loueut moins cher... maintenant on sait pourquoi ils sont mons chers...fuyez cette enseigne !
Ho noleggiato al aeroporto di Porto un auto nuova con soli 15 km, e dopo 2 giorni in parcheggio non funzionava più, questo ha causato la perdita del aereo, abbiamo dovuto acquistare a spese nostre nuovi biglietti per rientrare in Italia. Non ho ricevuto nessuna assistenza in merito. Mai più mi servirò da loro.
Great experience at a great price. The staff was super friendly and efficient. I didnt get the ladies name but she was very quick to help me get checked out on the kiosk. The car had some scratches but I was not worried because they had noted the scratches already.
Stay away from them! At the time of the pickup, the employee takes pictures of the damages. He tells me that I will receive them by email. I did not receive anything. I left the car back when the office was closed. Surprise! They found a damage underneath the front bumper. They say that I am responsible for it. I swear that I did not damage the car. They charge me 200 for the repair.

Péssimo, imputam-me um dano no check-in horas depois de ter deixado o carro no site deles, mandam fotos do check-out para comprovar, mas toda a gente pode ver, até leigos, que as fotos de check-out não comtemplam a área danificado no suposto check-in. Vamos chamar a isto que? Eu chamo ma fé, se alguém pensar diferente diga-me, posso eu estar a ficar com problemas de visão e défice de capacidade analítica.
Je recommande vraiment cette entreprise de location. Navette régulière pour vous emmener récupérer votre véhicule. Récupération du véhicule très facile. Véhicule quasi neuf très bien entretenu. Personnel disponible et à lécoute. Retour du véhicule tout aussi simple et récupération de la caution de garantie dans la journée. Je suis vraiment très satisfaite et je repasserais sans hésiter par eux pour un futur voyage.

Habe im Juli 2024 bei Guerin in Madeira (Airpot) einen Audi A1 gemietet. Das Team vorort war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, alles ist sehr rasch und ohne Komplikationen über die Bühne gegangen. Alle nötigen Versicherungen waren pauschal inkludiert, kein Versuch zusätzliche Pakete zu verkaufen. Eine sehr positive Erfahrung und eine Empfehlung wert.

Goede auto, maar twee bedragen van mijn creditkaart afgehouden, zonder dat ik daar een mail of meldig van kreeg. Het eerste bedrag is waarschijnlijk terecht (tol), maar ik kreeg hier ook geen detail van, het tweede is ingehouden 2 weken na het opnieuw inleveren van de wagen. Wij leverden de wagen volledige gekuist in (binnen en buiten, door een professioneel bedrijf) zonder enige schade. Graag dringend een antwoord met een detail, want bij aflevering van de wagen werd er ons verteld dat er geen extra kosten zouden ingehouden worden.
Je recommande +++. Service rapide et très efficace. Voiture impeccable et très bon prix. Mais également, lorsque jai eu besoin daide ils étaient facile à joindre et mont vraiment rendu service rapidement. Donc une très bonne expérience.

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Guerin Rent a Car at Faro Airport. I was assured by their representative that the branch would remain open late to accommodate my rental needs on May 22, 2024. However, upon my arrival, I found the branch closed at midnight, contrary to the assurances provided. This led to significant inconvenience and forced me to rent a vehicle from another agency at an additional cost of EUR 75. To make matters worse, the vehicle I eventually received from Guerin was devoid of washer fluid, which is illegal to operate without in Portugal. This oversight not only posed a serious safety hazard but also demonstrated a lack of basic vehicle maintenance on their part. Despite raising these issues with their customer service, I received an inadequate response that failed to address my concerns. They insisted that the office closes at midnight and placed the blame on me for not providing a flight number, a requirement I was never informed about. They also claimed the vehicle was in perfect condition, ignoring the critical safety issue I pointed out. As a property owner in Vale do Lobo, I rely on recommending reliable services to my guests. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Guerin Rent a Car. Their poor customer service and lack of accountability have left me highly dissatisfied. I urge potential customers to be cautious and consider other rental agencies to avoid similar inconveniences and safety risks.

Although service was good, I do not recommend because I never was refunded my security deposit (over 600$). After contacting them, they said the funds have been refunded (never appeared on my bank statement). I contacted mastercard to contest the transaction but the delays have been exceeded (partly because of all the waiting) and I couldn t get a refund. I trusted guerin/enterprise and unfortunately not anymore.

I was very apprehensive about using Guerin as the reviews were massively varied. However our experience was extremely good. We booked through booking.com which I think was an advantage as there are various extras included. We did the pre-arrival check in before flying, which they had e-mailed us about. We arrived at the terminal and found the mini bus straight away. Its just a couple of minutes to the hire car area. Guerin have a self check in system, but there is someone there to help. It didnt recognise our booking, but the lady found us on their system and then all was well. They typically try to sell you all manner of extras, but you dont need them... the process took just a few minutes... no problems with passports or credit cards as I was expecting... and then the car was brought round for us. There were a few minor dents etc but the guy pointed these out. I did take photographs just in case. There is no spare wheel, which was the only slightly concerning thing. Then we were away. On return, we simply refilled the tank, and when we got there, they were expecting us. They checked the car and the mileage and fuel and that was us done. No problem. The car was a Fiat estate, perfect for our family holiday. Did the job just fine with plenty of room for luggage.
Rented from Guerin for a family trip in Jun 2024. They have good and new vehicles. We we given a Toyota CHR Hybrid. Pretty spacious and very fuel efficient. Our attendant, Inez Silva was super efficient and genuine withher customer service. She brought us the vehicle, in a jiff explained some of the important vehicle features to get us comfortable with it, did a walk around, explained about tolls and answered all our queries so confidently. We were lucky to get Inez even while returning the vehicle too. She was very methodical with the final checking procedure and had us on our way to the airport shuttle in less than 5 minutes. Great place to rent a vehicle from and will sure recommend and return to Guerin. For once I didnt feel that I was being ripped off by a car rental company.
We had a very disappointing experience with Gueran car rental service at Porto airport. Its unacceptable that w couldnt obtain our car due to using a different Visa card for the reservation. Additionally, their attempt to push extra charges is concerning. Its clear that the woman at the counter was simply following the companys unfavorable policies, ultimately putting tourists at a disadvantage. Transparency and fairness are crucial in the service industry, and its disappointing when companies fall short in providing a positive customer experience.
Di je pouvais mettre 0 je le mettrais. Réservation payée avec ma carte Visa, et bien sûr débitée de mon compte. Arrivée sur place on me dit que ma carte nest pas une carte de crédit et quon ne peut pas me donner la voiture. Essai avec 4 cartes différentes dont la gold de ma mère. On nous répond la même chose. On ne peut pas prendre la voiture et on ne veut pas nous rembourser. Des voleurs. 120 quils considèrent à eux car je navais qu à venir avec une carte de crédit. Jen ai 4. Je vais porter plainte si on ne me rembourse pas. Bizarrement ma carte a fonctionné chez le concurrent den face. Bref fuyez ses escrocs...

Was skeptical based on past reviews but everything went well enough. Not always clear, but Guerin is the affiliate for Enterprise and some other international brands at LIS. Just fully document ALL existing damage before accepting the car. My only complaint was that this took a bit of time as Guerin hadnt pre-documented all the minor scratches, and I didnt find their check-out app all that friendly (if you dont have cellular data - forget it). However staff was helpful and got us on our way. Car was clean and in good condition. Costing and invoice was clear on the front and tail ends, including tolls.
Inadmissible !! Clients fidèles depuis plus de 10 ans, l agence a décrété que nos CB ne permettaient pas de déposer la caution. Alors que depuis toujours cela n avait jamais posé de problème. Argumenter que toutes les années précédentes les employés faisaient des erreurs et que nous étions hors la loi c était la cerise sur le gâteau. 0 pointé guerin c est terminé En trois secondes l agence voisine nous a loué une voiture moins chère et sans problèmes.
Dans un premier temps échaudé par les différents avis, jai été agréablement surpris après location : départ de Porto pour un retour à Faro. Très satisfait, navette pratique pour aller chez le loueur, borne automatique à larrivée et aidé par le personnel (le pré-enregistrement en ligne fait gagner du temps et évite de se prendre la tête sur place), récupération de la voiture et état des lieux rapide et très pro. Lemployé ma même montré des dégradations que je navais pas vu !. Pour moi, LA chose essentielle est de bien avoir une carte de crédit pour la location en ligne (et pas une carte de débit), à débit différé suffit, jai pris une nouvelle carte gratuite spécialement pour ça ! Il faut bien avoir la même carte lors de la prise de location. Etat des lieux de retour très succinct mais sans mauvaise surprise. Paiement du péage au retour, débité sur la caution quelques jours après, pas de mauvaise surprise non plus. Bref à refaire sans hésiter car prix très attractif par rapport aux autres loueurs.

Every other rental in the area was ok with booking without a credit card; these insisted I need it regardless of the full coverage I ve prepurchased. So they kept my money for the booking without giving me the car.

Pessimo! Primeira vez e última vez que alugo! Acusaram a gente de ter arranhado estofado do espelho da frente do carro. Nem abrimos o espelho, nem encostamos. E quando devolvemos o carro, a rapariga foi direto no espelho onde estava arranhada de início. Parecia até que já sabiam que estava arranhado. Absurdo isso! Atendimento pessimo na franquia do Porto! Costumo alugar sempre essa empresa em outros países, porém nunca mais! Última vez! Não recomento Guerin / Alamo!
Ich habe ein Fahrzeug bei Guerin gebucht, bei der Buchung habe ich angegeben, dass ich das Auto in Faro abhole und in Porto zurückgebe. Bei meiner Reservierung wurde mir suggeriert, dass der Komplettpreis bei 253 liegt. Als ich das Fahrzeug abgeholt habe, hat man mir gesagt, dass ich zusätzlich 80 bezahlen muss, weil ich das Auto in Porto zurückgebe. Das ist absolute Abzocke, hätte ich das zuvor gewusst, hätte ich das Auto nicht hier gebucht.

It was not a very pleasant experience with this company. We were not greeted. And instead of welcoming us, they told me to step outside with the stroller because there is not enough room in the office space. However, there were a lot of words when it came to stuff that they could sell on top. But this probably says it all: a 30 cleaning fee for one chocolate stain that wasnt even ours. Learnings: take pictures inside and outside. And stay away from Guerin.

Decent experience but they charge more than was indicated at check in for Tire/Glass protection. Take pictures of the screen with pricing at check in and push back if the bill is incorrect!!!
BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY AND READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING WITH THEM! TOURIST TRAP! Booked them for 1 week, even after reading the horrible reviews (because the price was alright). Experience was OK. Booked again the next week and had to drop-off the car at 2am in Porto airport as I had a night flight, having had no interaction with any of the staff as the office closes at midnight. Half an hour after the office opened I receive an email saying they have charged my credit card for 800 !? for a minimal damage I DID NOT DO on the front bumper. Their explanation for such robbery is that these are the listed damage prices My fault I didnt shoot a video of the car when I left it because I was in a hurry. The cars are in terrible shape, scratched all over, yet, the damages mentioned by them are only the really bad ones. They will blame you on the existing scratches later on and charge your credit card as you can see on previous comments. This is their true business. A scam. Terrible client support, pretty much non existant. Just book the big reliable companies and avoid this scam, at least their business is renting cars. In the end, I have paid 800 for a 90 booking, for damage I did not do. I feel sad for having to write these words about a company that operates in my own country but, working within the hospitality industry, I feel I have to warn others about this scam, these people are not representative of our welcoming country.

Super, véhicule réceptionné rapidement, idem pour le retour. Vous avez une facture par mail le lendemain pour les péages, la location, pas de surprises. Nous avions réservé notre véhicule pour 8 jours et finalement on l a rendu 3 jours avant, on nou a facturé du coup que 5 jours. De l aéroport vous avez une navette dehors qui vous emmènera directement à Guerin.

Gros mensonge de la personne qui nous a assisté lors de lauto-enregistrement sur la question des assurances, en nous disant que nous étions assurés pour tous les dégâts dont nous nétions pas responsables. Or un caillou reçu sur le pare-brise sur lautoroute nous a valu plus de 600 euros de frais, comme si nous en étions responsables. Ils ont aussi essayé de gonfler la note des péages dautoroute: vérifier bien vos quittances et les calcules! Jai jamais vu autant de mensonges et mauvaise foi chez une grande enseigne de location de voiture. Donc je déconseille fortement ce loueur et moi-même je nirai plus chez eux. Ca vaut en fait zéro étoile....

A EVITER : 3 jours après la location nous sommes tombés en panne dembrayage. Dépannage et échange de la voiture sans problème. Par contre ne semaine après être rentres, un prélèvement de 1000 sur notre compte bancaire. En effet Guerin nous informe que la réparation est à notre charge et pas de discutions possible. Cout total 1387 ....
Jai réservé une location de voiture en octobre 2023 via une plate-forme avec GUERIN RENT CAR et tout cest très bien passé. Jai été très bien accueilli par le personnel qui a su répondre à mes attentes et me fournir le véhicule adapté pour que je me sente en sécurité pour conduire par temps de grosse pluie. La restitution a été impeccable. Je repasserai par eux pour mon prochain séjour. Merci à léquipe Guerin de l aéroport Sa carneiro Porto.
Excelente, recomendo vivamente. Simplicidade enorme de processos na entrega e recolha do veiculo. No check in estava previsto um outro carro mas que ainda estava na lavage, em alternativa dera no imediato outro carro de gama similar novo 0 kms. Parabéns pelo serviço.

Is it possible to give 0. Rented a car, on 3rd day car broke down, called number on contract to get assistance.. no answer. After numerous other ways to contact, managed to get another car next day. Wrote a complaint to office and answer received was dismissive - we will try better next time, hope to see you soon. Was without a working vehicle and not even a sign to get the refund for one day of unusability. I travel at least 8 times to lisbon per year and always rent a car. Definitely not again with Guerin ! - UPDATE - 12thJuly 2023 - In response to the owner asking for Booking Number - 5271979/1 . Lets see if they respond or is it just a smokescreen answer. Will keep this updated. I have all the time in the world , as this is a matter of principle .
Location qui s est très bien déroulé. Cependant, une partie de caution, de pratiquement 100 car j ai oublié de laisser le papier de l assurance (papier qui peut être imprimé gratuitement via le site). Très injuste, surtout quand on appelle et qu on nous dis que c est payant (c est faux) et quand on nous dis au téléphone : « vous pouvez garder l assurance en Souvenir » ; Pas très sympa, et pas drôle du tout. Ce n est pas comme si j avais la carte grise du véhicule. Vraiment dommage la réflexion. Surtout quand, au téléphone et par mail, j ai proposé de ramener ou d envoyer les documents.

Péssimo atendimento Daniela Lopes e João Mesquita , hoje dirigi-me a rent car para levantar uma viatura com reserva número 5366675 confirmada pela Tranquilidade e não me entregaram por motivos de não ter viatura. Pior só tinham carros para clientes das plataformas Turísticas e clientes directos . Cuidado , os condutores de Assistência e seguradoras estão a ser descriminados. É proibido pela constituição. O problema escalou porque os funcionários Daniela Lopes e João Mesquita ao invés de resolverem e ajudarem os clientes , só complicaram , uma mentiu , disse que não tinha viatura , afinal já tinha mas era inferior, mas não se preocupe que amanhã trocava , o outro de forma prepotente não entregou a viatura alegando contraditório entre a cliente e a colega. Lá se foi a solução de mobilidade E ficou o pesadelo.

Nous sommes très satisfait de lagence GUERIN RENTAL CAR de laéroport de PORTO. Pas dattente à la sortie de laéroport, la navette était là dès notre arrivée. Nous avons tout de suite été accueillis dès notre arrivée à lagence. Le dossier et la remise du véhicule se sont très bien passés, véhicule neuf. La restitution sest également très bien déroulée. Pas dattente et retour à laéroport par la navette aussitôt la remise du véhicule effectuée. Loption du badge Via Verde pour lautoroute est indispensable pour se faciliter la vie. Nous navons rencontré aucun problème pour cette location de voiture avec cette agence

Met enkele zenuwen onze auto hier opgehaald; de recensies op internet waren immers best negatief. Maar alles klopte: van aankomst (super aardig geholpen bij de self service terminal) tot overdracht van de auto (gewoon het merk dat we ook gereserveerd hadden). Paar dagen daarna even terug gegaan want het tolkastje deed het niet. En weer super vriendelijk en begripvol geholpen.

This is how all car rentals should work. All the the car rentals at Porto airport had a shuttle bus to the rentals. The Guerin bus turned up within 2 minutes of arriving at the pick up location and dropped us at the car rental 5 minutes later. Having booked online and done the pre-check in we then checked in with final details using the self service kiosk. This took 5-10 minutes. Once this was complete a member of staff escorted us to retrieve the car. The car was fine although fairly dinged up with scratches on the exterior (we took plenty of photos but in the end didnt need them), otherwise in good condition. We left with the car within 15 minutes of arrival. We returned the car refuelled and arrived at the drop off. A member of staff was able to carry out the return process immediately and this was completed within 5 minutes. We then got the shuttle bus back to the airport immediately. This is exactly how car rentals should work. More or less automated check in, very easy pick up and drop off. No waiting around for service. Total time spent at the rental shop <30 minutes. Brilliant, highly recommend.

Very nice rental experience. Friendly staff. Efficient check-in using provided touchscreens, employees available to help. No waiting line. Vehicle as reserved (intermediate SUV / Nissan Qashqai), well-equiped and in prime condition. Generous damage policy (scratches below ca. 3 cm are not counted).
Zeer slechte ervaring. Auto opgehaald in Faro, schade vrij afgeleverd in Porto. Ineens wordt er door Guerin de borg ingehouden en ook nog een extra rekening ingestuurd van brandplekjes in de bekleding. Deze zaten er al in en door de medewerker weggewuifd. It doesnt matter. Daarbij roken wij niet eens...
Chegamos 6:55, não tem lugar para devolver o carro, e ninguém para receber, achei uma vaga na concorrência Avis e parei lá, ao devolver a chave na parte de fora, um senhor chegou junto, e informou que nos deveríamos ir a pé até o aeroporto, detalhe estava chovendo, e nós dois com 5 malas, achei estranho e vi outro funcionário chegando, questionei ele, e ele disse que abriria em 5 minutos. Resumo: o homem que me mandou apé com minha esposa, e mais 5 malas, era justamente o motorista do translado que leva até o aeroporto, que para não me levar, simplesmente me mandou apé na chuva. Total falta de atendimento, ao ele ver que fiquei esperando abriu a van e só apontou, não ajuda em nada, totalmente despreparado para o serviço, tinha até barata na van. A nota é única e exclusiva a esse senhor, que não deve estar contente com o trabalho dele, pois o restante nada tenho dizer sobre a Guerin. Segue a foto eu ja dentro da van, com chuva com o carro dentro da Avis.

Nous avons pris loption péage, cependant 3 mois après la location, nous avons reçu une amende de 180 car nous navons pas payé. Il se trouve que Guerin savaient que notre carte était refusée, mais na pas trouvé lidée de nous avertir de ceci. Attention, fraude organisée.
There is a scam artist man working there. After paying for 3 day car rent the man said its necessary to get a tollpass and asked 50 . 6 months later i get fines from tollways..... VERY DISSAPOINTED AND WARNING OTHER PEOPLE FOR THIS SCAM!!!!! Dont rent a car here !!! PLENTY of other options that will be better

La fregatura è arrivata alla fine! Abbiamo noleggiato l auto per una settimana: consegna presso l aereoporto di Porto e riconsegna a Faro. Le uniche indicazioni forniteci per la riconsegna sono state quelle di lasciare la macchina all aereoporto (perché dovendo lasciarla prima dell apertura del loro stand non ci sarebbe stato nessuno) e inserire le chiavi nella box all interno del terminal. Il giorno prima ci hanno inviato un messaggio con la posizione dove lasciare la macchina: AEREOPORTO. SENZA ALTRE AGGIUNTE. Abbiamo consegnato la macchina parcheggiandola difronte alle partenze, consegnato la chiave nella box e sorpresa! Dopo 4 giorni dalla riconsegna, preceduti da una mail in cui chiedevano quando avremmo riconsegnato la macchina (mail a cui ho risposto dando le indicazioni del parcheggio) ci vediamo addebitati 199 per utilizzo extra dell auto. Ripeto: le loro indicazioni erano state lasciatela nel parcheggio in aereoporto . E quando ho chiesto spiegazioni tramite mail hanno continuato ad attribuire a noi l utilizzo extra perché loro avevano ripreso la macchina dopo 4 giorni.

Would you like to be scammed by them? Well then you should rent a car with Geurin. When returning the car, the employee suddenly noticed damaged under the car, above the tires. There was a plate missing above the tire,on the inside of the car. It was the fender. But there were no damages on the outside of the car nor the bumpers. There is no way I could create that damage unless there is damage on the bumper/outside or if I used a crowbar to remove the fender but there is no reason to damage that with a crowbar. There was no recent photo on that plate. The last known photo was two months ago and they used this photo against me. There were many rentals in this period, and it didn t showed up during those rentals nor during the maintenance of the car. But because I m the one that is returning the car, they used the photo against me. There is no evidence that I created that damage. It was utterly nonsense. The employee was checking every nook and cranny on the car and it lasted 5-10min but with other people, who were white, they check in was done in 10 sec. When I complained, the employee said that I just had bad luck and used the photo of two months ago against me. How is that fair? When I called my insurance company, they said that this sound as a scam. Everything about it screams a scam, from the photo of two months ago, that it didn t showed up during the previous rentals nor maintenance and that the employee saying that I have bad luck. When I said that I complained with the company, the insurance said that we won t get a message back, let alone the money. So they just paid the money back to use. If even the insurance company says it s a scam, then you know how real it is. Stay away from this bad company.
I was unable to pick up my rental car, so I called to let them know I will be a day late. Well they don t do that. My travel agent tried to contact them as well, again unable to do that. No customer service and now I don t have a car. Very poor service.
Fantastic service and staff. Duty supervisor offered a free upgrade. We arrived before the opened to return the car and put the key in the key box. Parking is very busy, but spaces can be found on the other side of the main entrance and car park, if you drive round.

Scammers. They try do act like I had made some damages. The employee that delivered the car said that it didn t matter. But the return employee demanded that we paid for the damages. Luckily we made some photos and the person changed their tune stay away from this company
Cars hired were fine but at 2 different spots in Porto customer service needs urgent improvement. Problems with installing the car seat and little help given, the lady behind the desk even bothered to say all car seats come with isofix, obviously the one given to us didn t. People behind the desk feel somehow they re better than you?? They need to learn to be polite or don t work in a client facing role as they re clearly not fit for it. Never using Guerin again.

La verdad que nosotros estamos desesperados, dejamos 600 euros de deposito y no me lo han devuelto, digeron en 2 o 4 dias y ha pasado una semana. Mi banco dice que tienen que enviarlo pero asi esta la cosa Encima les envío un correo y no contestan, para colmo llamamos y media hora en espera. Es una vergüenza, quiero mi dinero o no retiraré lo que he dicho y aparte tomaré medidas legales porque tengo todo muy bien detallado con ellos.

Sehr positive Erfahrung gemacht. Ueber Terminal auf Deutsch alle Angaben eingegeben. Fuer Hilfe war ein Mitarbeiter zur Stelle. Fahrzeug im tadellosen Zustand. Rueckgabe ohne Probleme. Autobahngebuehren Abrechnung stimmte genau. Jederzeit gerne wieder bei Guerin Car!!

Toujours en attente dun remboursement débité deux fois, une fois à lagence de voyage et une autre fois directement à lagence de Porto malgré la preuve du 1er règlement. Et cela en juin 2023, aujourdhui guerin fait la sourde oreille et ne rembourse pas. 1 client satisfait en parle à 3 personnes, 1 client insatisfait en parle à 10. Je suis très mécontentement et lors de ma prochaine venue je nhésiterai pas à venir vous le dire en face.
Do not rent a car from this company. They provided a car poorly suited to the hills and terrain of Madeira. They didn t properly inspect the car before either. They then charged an extortionate amount (£350) for a very small scratch which was picked up during the trip, and added charges for scratches that were already on the car before we rented it, claiming there was no evidence .

Le service est au top du top Mon mari avait oublié des affaires dans la voiture et même pour ça ils ont été très serviables, en nous guidant dans les démarches à suivre pour que ses affaires soient envoyées ! Escolhi a Guerin (unidade do Aeroporto do Porto) na minha primeira experiência com alugueis de carro em Portugal e, sem dúvida, fiz a melhor escolha! Pesquisei muito antes e vi que esse tipo de serviço pode ser complicado no país, uma vez que algumas empresas cobram taxas extras e avarias que não estavam no contrato. A Guerin foi EXCELENTE! A retirada do carro foi super rápida e o atendimento muito cordial, mesmo eu sendo estrangeiro, não senti nenhuma dificuldade. A devolução correu super bem, e o atendimento novamente foi 5 estrelas! Parabéns aos envolvidos! Não é comum ser bem atendido assim no estrangeiro!

Would not recommend. Their 24/7 roadside assistance is non existent. We were stuck on a highway for over 5 hours and were unable to get through. If it werent for local police would probably still be on the highway. Further they add a bunch of charges without any explanation and getting a straight forward answer for what these charges are for has been like pulling teeth. If we did something wrong and owe money I am ok with that, but please provide me with proper documentation.
One of the worst car rentals I ever had in my life. The customer service is non-existent. The car was excellent, but the price I paid in hidden fees (late arrival due to delayed flight, toll surchage) in the end was twice the original booking. Steer away!!!

Make sure you do a walk around when you get your car and take your own pictures! We were about to be charged for a damaged rim that was already like that because it wasn t documented initially. Luckily we had took our own picture that had time and date stamped
It started well then, from the moment we bring the car back, Guerin started to take money on our credit card for no reason : first, 37 for a « car wash » while they told us several times that no fees while be taken. Months later (in December while we rent the car in July !!!), they charge me for 10 because I bring the car late (which is totally not true, we were early !). Unacceptable, will never rent my car there anymore

Disappointing experience. I reserved an estate car. At first they tried to give me a small Skoda, which I refused. I then got given a large BMW estate car. Which is OK, but I also knew that if they tried to put any damage on me, it would be expensive. This turned out to be the case. We drove the car from the airport to our apartment (9km) and the next day we woke up to a flat tire. Guerin told me its my problem and to get a garage to fix it. The garage found out that the rim had a crack on the inside and that a fix isnt possible. So we got the car swapped out but now Guerin are charging me for the damage. The car given to me was marked as having damage on all 4 wheels and both the front and back bumper. But apparently I managed to crack a rim in the 9km from the airport to our apartment. So I was given a beaten up expensive car (which is not the model I reserved) and now I have to pay for damage. Poor behaviour. Ive given two stars instead of one just because the staff on site were, for the most part, nice. You live and learn, we wont be using them again. Update: one year later and Im still dealing with the consequences of this rental. We started getting fines in the post because Guerin didnt take the money for the toll fees. They paid us back for the first fine but I am now being ignored with regards to getting back the money for the second fine. Honestly the worst rental experience Ive ever had.

La voiture très jolie, aucun problème pour la location, et le dépôt avant l heure d ouverture n as posé aucun problème ! Petit plus pour le matou qui a élu domicile là bas, et qui est très gentil également !
I returned a rented car at Guerin station of Porto Airport. Check in procedure was very fast, the agent kind and polite, no pre-existing damages were claimed for. The shuttle to Departures left immediately only for us. Excellent service, in a few words.

On November 28th, I returned a vehicle that I rented from this company at Porto airport. To this day, the deposit has never been returned to me and I have sent emails and phone calls to the company and they have not resolved the problem. Cps

Horrible experience. I got met with truly nasty attitude on Christmas Eve when I returned a car. And on top of that I was scammed 90 for literally no reason. They tried charging me for issues with the car that I had noted when I got the car but because of Guerin s horrible check out application that crashed MORE than 7 times the tire with several scratches was not recorded. And on top of it all I had just gotten back from filling the whole tank at a gas station until it WOULD NOT TAKE MORE GAS and I am charged for not filling it completely? Makes 0 sense. Horrible and miserable company: Do you know how humiliating it is to have Gold status with enteprise but still be yelled at by some nasty characters on Christmas Eve? I will never go back to Portugal because of this experience.

J ai loué une voiture pour 3jours là en janvier. Un peu déçue j ai reçu une Fiat panda très ancienne vraiment la voiture était super ancienne avec le peu de fonctions possible pas confortable pour une première fois moyen l appareil via verde était coller avec du scotch au milieu de l autoroute il s est décollé nous faisant peur donc bon niveau sécurité on y repensera à deux fois je mets quand même deux étoiles car la dame qui a réceptionné la voiture était super sympathique. Je ne reviendrais bien-sûr pas.
Not the greatest experience. First at the shuttle, my family got into the shuttle; meanwhile, the driver loaded some bags of another family in the back, and once he came back, he kicked out most of my family so that the people who had their bags loaded could enter. We were first at the shuttle, but didnt get to go first. Then at the rental place, its a kind of self-serve system with screens. There are some people there to help, but the system is very inefficient, requiring you to enter a lot of information manually. It wasnt very busy, so I only had to wait about 10-15 minutes, but I can imagine that if you get there in the summer when there are hundreds of people, youll wait a long time to use one of the seven screens. Then after you complete the process, its not really clear what to do. You go outside, and after a bit, you realize you need to enter your information into another machine to get your key. When you have your key, youre very confused about where to find your car. Luckily, there was a guy there who helped me find my car, which was basically right in front of me. Without his help, I wouldnt have been able to find it. And again, if it had been very busy, I think a lot of people would be running around trying to get help to find their cars. Finally, when we tried to leave, the same guy who had helped me find my car had parked another car in the exit lane. He seemed indifferent that we couldnt get out, even though he could clearly see we were trying to leave. So, we had to sit and wait for about five minutes until he was ready to move the car out of the way. Not the best customer service.
