Fizemos uma viagem para a serra da estrela e sentimo-nos muito seguros com todos os extras qje a viatura oferecia. Os pequenos detalhes contam e a atenção que dão aos mesmos é perfeita. I was having a tough time finding a reliable car rental in Porto due to the flood of negative reviews for the big name companies. That s when I came across M.Cunha Car Rental during my search and I couldn t be happier that I did! From the start, the experience was seamless. When the website didn t allow me to book a car for just one day, I reached out to the company via WhatsApp, and Tiago responded immediately. He was incredible so patient, kind, and genuinely helpful. Tiago provided me with multiple affordable options and even shared fantastic recommendations for places to visit in Porto. The pick up and return process couldn t have been easier or quicker. What stood out the most was how honest and straightforward everything was. There was zero pressure to add unnecessary extras or insurance packages. He even allowed 2 drivers without paying extra like other companies. Quelques jours avant, Miguel m a envoyé un message en me donnant toutes les instructions pour notre rencontre. We recently rented a car to drive from Porto to Lisbon. M. Cunha | Rent-A-Car | PORTO was recommended to us by our Airbnb host. We were completely satistifed with this company and had a thoroughly great experience. We worked with Tiago who was fantastic. He delivered the car to our location in Porto, and then picked it up in Lisbon at our hotel, which was a tremendous help. He was very upfront with all costs and provided very personalized service. As well, he was extremely friendly and courteous. Most of all we had great communication with him all the way. Everything was as expected, and beyond, and we would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to rent a car while in Portugal.

We couldn t fault our seamless experience from Tiago at M. Cunha. From offering to drop the rental car to us, providing many recommendations places to visit in for both Douro Valley and Porto and even dropping us to our accommodation in Porto. This has been the best rental car experience we have had to date in Europe. The car was great, it included the toll pass, no additional hidden cost compared to other car hire companies we have used to date. We would highly recommend M. Cunha, shame they aren t across other parts of Europe!

First class experience. Very good communication from the beginning to the end. The delivery and drop off service could not be better. This company knows the meaning of the word service . You might find cheaper offers in Porto, but don t be fooled by the low basic prices offered by many companies - be aware of the total price including insurance/taxes and delivery costs. On delivery our car had some scratches here and there and we were advised to take photos. By drop off there was no problem at all. The car was not brand new (Corsa), but worked well although an unnatural sound from a wheel occured after some time. The company promised to check this immediately after return.

We had such a seamless experience renting a car in Porto from M. Cuhna. Tiago is incredibly responsive, kind, helpful and even provided local recommendations for us when we were driving to the Duoro Valley. He dropped the car off at our hotel in Porto, explained everything we needed to know, and we were able to drop off the car at the airport, which saved us time and was extremely easy. Rented a car for 3days and it was nothing but pleasure! Easy to get the car and not as expensive. The car, I end up getting had a more than 80k milage but the car was maintained very nicely and didnt have any issue driving around. I also got bunch of informations of where to go and where to dine at, which was a big help for me as tourist. I would definitely use them again!

Das Auto (Renault-Clio) war top, sehr sauber und wurde uns auf Anfrage von uns und ohne Aufpreis mit Kindersitz zu unserer Ferienwohnung gebracht. Am ersten Tag merkten wir, dass der Kindersitz teilweise beschädigt war. Wir meldeten dies Tiago, welcher uns umgehend einen neuen Kindersitz brachte. Überhaupt war Tiago sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hat uns zudem viele gute Reisetipps gegeben. Sehr zu empfehlende Autovermietung!!!

Ci siamo presentati presso il banco dell ufficio in centro a Porto senza prenotazione, ci ha proposto le auto disponibili, abbiamo chiesto un auto in particolare, e il giorno dopo alle 9, è stata consegnata (consiglio di prenotare il noleggio). Il sig. Tiago è stato disponibile e professionale, oltre al contratto inviato per mail, ci ha lasciato un whatsApp per ogni evenienza, e sullo stesso ci ha inviato dei link con le mete da visitare e ci ha consiglio ristoranti. L auto è pulita e ben equipaggiata, aveva anche la Via Verde (necessaria per il pedaggio autostradale). Al momento della consegna dell auto, ci ha illustrato gli accessori, il controllo degli interni e fatto checkup della carrozzeria. Abbiamo consegnato l auto in aeroporto direttamente nel parcheggio dell hotel dove abbiamo soggiornato l ultima notte. Qualche ora dopo ci ha inviato un Messaggio, che la macchina è stata ritirata e il controllo della stessa era ok. Sicuramente, se avrò bisogno di un nuovo noleggio sarà la prima scelta, consiglierò ad amici e parenti. Ringrazio Tiago e il suo staff.

Great experience & one of the best! Used M Cunha rent a car for my familys drive from Vila Nova De Gaia to Fatima & back to Porto. The car pick up & drop off point was at our hotel (The Rebello Hotel & Spa). Used a BMW Saloon car. The car was delivered on time by Mr. Tiago. As soon as we met within 4 minutes he completed the entire paperwork by quickly explaining the key points in a very professional way(I really did not have to ask any questions). Whats more he even paired my phone to the Apple Car Play while handing over the car. The car was fueled up fully & and was in great condition. Tiagao also gave key inputs about how to locate the best parking spots @ Fatima & some great restaurant recommendations in Fatima. He even recommended some good places to visit in Porto & shared the GPS coordinates for it. He was in touch with me on whatsapp during the rental and was more than happy to help with any touristy questions that I had (including finding a 1975 bottled Port wine). Having used car rentals in over 25 countries right from the top players to local players, I can say that M Cunha ranks right up there. If you are planning to rent a car in Porto & Vila Nova De Gaia area, I would suggest you to get in touch with M Cunha and discuss your requirements.

Nous avons loué un véhicule (Opel Corsa) pendant 1 semaine et nous avons eu recours aux services de M.Cunha, une équipe (Tiago, Miguel, ...) de véritables professionnels, réactifs, efficaces et qui ont toujours répondu à nos sollicitations. Des loueurs honnêtes qui ne vous prélèvent pas de majoration lors de la prise en charge du véhicule (pas de surcoût en cas de présentation dune carte de débit contrairement à un grand nombre de loueurs qui exigent une carte de crédit), lors de la restitution ou pour le télépéage. Je recommande sans hésitation et je referai appel à eux en toute confiance.

We rented a car for a week in July 2024. The service was flawless, Tiago and Miguel were always available and well organized, they picked us up from the airport, gave us amazing suggestions and respected the agreements we made before our arrival in Portugal. We travelled a lot: the car was furnished with the navigator (linked to Android Auto) and set on our language. They gave us back the security deposit, as we agreed. Finally, they were very kind and, since we had our flight very early in the morning, they also allowed us to give the car back during the night. We deeply suggest this rent-a-car service, as we had a wonderful experience.

Rented a car for a week in August 2024. Initially, I was hesitant because of the perfect 5-star ratings, but I decided to take a chance, and it turned out to be the best decision ever. The car was spotless and in excellent condition. We received thorough instructions about the roads and all the necessary details. Tiago stayed in touch throughout the rental period, meeting us at the airport when we arrived and arranging for the car to be returned near the airport. He even gave us a ride back to the terminal. Lopel aveva Android Auto e la Via verde con addebito dei pedaggi sulla carta di pagamento e fattura con dettaglio pedaggi via e mail. Prima di prendere lauto ci ha illustrato gli accessori interni e fatto check up esterno.

We felt taken care of and safe, and at the same time everything was taken care of with a large dose of courtesy:) I can not imagine using any other rental company in Porto and I sincerely recommend it to everyone! we spent a week in Porto and around in April. Flying in from France we were really worried about the car rental and the company to use given some of the comments we saw on well known companies at the airport. We therefore looked for a local company and decided to contact M.Cunha after checking their prices online. From the first call on, the service was extremely friendly and professional with all our questions being answered without ever feeling pushed to pay for extra services. They also worked around our flight schedule to pick us up on the weekend and were just extremely helpful. We would definitely use them again if we go back to the area and would actually look forward to it which is quite rare. A special thank you to Miguel who helped us out from day 1 and allowed us to be much more relaxed behind the wheel

We picked up our rental car at M. Cunha on the recommendation of our hotel and it was definitely a perfect service all round. Tiago is very nice and takes care of all concerns immediately, you can also reach him via whatsapp. He gave us tips on what else to do in and around Porto. The best experience of renting a car. On a simple car rental search on Google I have found M.Cunha being very positively rated. Having so many positive reviews looked a bit suspicious but I said why not. Deeply impressed to see that they were actually true. I contacted them via WhatsUp and in less than 1 hour we have talked details and when the car will be available( the next day as it was already past 9 p.m.). Mr. Tiago not only was our guide but also kept in touch if anything was needed. Great locations were recommended to us for our visit and so we did and had a great time!. The car was in perfect condition, clean and all damages were presented before handing over the keys to us. On my next visit M. Cunha Car Rental will definitley be my first choice again! Abbiamo noleggiato un Opel Corsa nuovissima, per una giornata. Tiago è stato molto gentile, efficiente e soprattutto chiaro. Lauto ci è stata consegnata presso lalbergo in cui alloggiavamo, in pochi minuti abbiamo compilato i moduli necessari per il noleggio, ed anche la restituzione è stata rapida ed intuitiva.

Une petite entreprise, Un service au top !! Javoue que cest la première fois que je suis bluffé par une agence de location de voiture même après avoir visité une dizaine de pays!! Miguel a passé 20 minutes à nous expliquer le fonctionnement de la voiture et du système de péage en vigueur au Portugal on prend vraiment la route sereinement après sa. Voiture prise à lagence en centre ville et déposé à laéroport sans supplément.

Decidiamo di noleggiare una macchina in giornata e ci affidiamo al noleggio del sig. Cunha essendo vicino al nostro hotel. Il proprietario e i suoi colleghi si sono subito presentati in modo molto gentile e disponibile, ci hanno offerto caffè e acqua da portare in viaggio e ci hanno anche consigliato vari posti da visitare nelle vicinanze. Prezzo competitivo: per un Opel corsa fornita di tutti i comfort (Android auto, impianto di riscaldamento e climatizzatore, via verde per pedaggi autostradali) abbiamo pagato 68 al giorno. Caparra economica rispetto al resto dei noleggiatori di soli 50 . I prezzi hanno un range che varia da 50 a 70 in base al servizio desiderato. Libertà di poter riportare la macchina in noleggio all orario desiderato. Servizio ottimo.

Tiago and Miguel were wonderful and the car was perfect. We rentered an automatic car in Porto, drove to Douro for a few days, then drove to Lisbon where we dropped it off with Miguel. The car worked very well and was comfortable. I appreciated having the toll service included. The service was outstanding. Tiago gave us specific recommendations for stops on our trip and was very kind. We would use M. Cunha again for our next trip.

Best car rental experience EVER! We rented a white Fiat 500 in Porto for a couple of days. Tiago was super transparent and communicative with every detail of the service, contract, charges... He provided us with great travel information (places to visit, restaurants....) Sometimes, when renting a car, you can feel a bit stressed. This was an amazingly great experience for a rental car!! Tiago brought the rental car to the apartment where we stayed and helped us in our way with suggestions for routes, restaurants, and activities. We drove from Porto to Lisbon stopping at Lazare for the day. The car was beautifully maintained inside and out and drive like a dream. At first sight, I was wondering how a company can have a 5 stars rating with over 500 ratings ... I finally made the booking with M. Cunha car rental and now I understand why they get such a good rating. No bad surprise with the company, only good surprises ! Everything is well explained, they take time to explain and to make a proper pick-up and dop-off. We got the car we booked, a Clio 4 very economic (diesel), with good engine and very well equiped (CarPlay, line assistant, cruise control and so on ...). This was the best experience we had in car rental over years. Most of the time its a stressful experience for us. It is really nice to see companies take care and respect their customers. Fabulous service. Tiago and Miguel could not have more helpful. They delivered our car to our accomodation and collected it from the train station. They also gave us so much helpful information about the area we were visiting and I highly recommend their services.

This was the first time when I was renting a car and honestly I couldnt imagine everything would be so great! I decided to visit my friends living in the middle of Portugal and getting there by a car seemed like the best idea. I contacted Tiago on Whatsapp, described what I needed and he immediately suggested the options that were available on the dates I needed. I went with picking up a red SEAT Ibiza, Tiago gave me all the information about parking, tolls, places to visit, how the deposit works. The car itself looks brand new, feels and drives amazing, I didnt have any problems with it for the whole time I had it. If I need a car again Ill definitely visit this place again!

Update November 2023, some two years after renting the cars from Tiago I have recently been fined around £80 for failing to pay the motorway tolls both times we rented from Tiago, I contacted him and asked for help and despite him saying he would help he hasnt, both cars had the detectors fitted and I was told at the end of rentals not to worry they would sort out the payments, it seemed odd at the time but he assured me not to worry. The London based company EPC PLC traced me by information that must have come from the rental car company and charged me admin fees etc to around about £80 when the tolls cost around £5, I am not impressed.

I went the day before to ask about renting a car, Tiago had the car early in the morning clean and ready to go, explained everything to me, gave me tips where to go, even sent me all these places to my phone! where to eat also of course! Genuinely nice and friendly people!! He made everything really easy for me. I ll definitely rent a car again, when I m back in Porto. Thank you Tiago!! :)

excelente servicio, muy amables todos , aparte del auto te dan tips, nosotros pagamos 68 por un auto y dejamos 50 de respaldo, de los cuales solo nos descontaron 9 por los peajes, en ningún momento sentí inseguridad sobre que no nos devolverían el deposito, 100% recomendable

I rented the car through the website, and the day before, I received a text confirming the rental. There are no hidden fees or surprises after returning the car. They explain every detail of the lease contract. If I return to Portugal, I will rent the car with M Cunha again without thinking twice.

I rented a car at M. Cunha in October and the experience was great from A to Z. It was a bit more expensive than what international companies were offering but the service is worth this small additional price. I dont regret my choice: the experience was flawless, without any surprise and a great client service!

M. Dunham is a fantastic Car Rental Business. Tiago is more than accommodating, A very nice man, giving us links to sights and restaurants. He speaks excellent English. I would suggest before renting, you look up the Portuguese Road signs so you know what they mean. I had a few moments of panic while driving not knowing what the road signs meant. Update: Educate yourself on Portuguese Signage before renting. I apparently went through the wrong toll lanes on the freeway several times and have been sent fines repeatedly. The original fine is around 2 euros, but by the time they process it and penalize you it s over $20 dollars per oops.
