Cruise Car - rent a car em Povoa de Varzim

Thank you for the service and providing us with a nice clean car.

We booked a small car 2 days before our trip in September. Unfortunately it was not available on the day of collection. As a replacement we got a mid-range car for the same price. All defects were thoroughly documented upon handover. After consultation, a child seat was also included at no extra charge. After initial concerns because this is a small local car rental company, I can only highly recommend it because the customer service is far better than that of a well-known car rental company.

I just got back from the Cruise Car Store in Póvoa de Varzim and they clearly lied saying that there were cars available due to prejudice. I heard the conversation between the owner and the employee on the phone where he asked if I had the deposit (credit card) and then she replied that I didn't (because the employee said it was no problem) and the owner said that there was no car available. It's unfortunate that in the 21st century, in a country that considers itself so evolved, there are PREJUDICED companies and people. I'm Brazilian and Portuguese, I have all my documents, and I don't owe anyone. And at the last minute, because I had already made the reservation last week, they told me this when I went to pick up the vehicle. My name was even written down in the notebook as someone who would pick up the vehicle and they acted like this. Disgraceful. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Slow service and no cars available

I would like to know what the conditions are for renting a car as it will be the first time.
