Charging insane costs out of the contract. Do not hire cars with Avis/Budget
When I requested to rent a commercial vehicle that was in toll class 1, I was given a vehicle that, due to the employees' lack of knowledge, had been upgraded to class 2 a few weeks ago. When I tried to explain this error, which was only detected when I subsequently paid the Via Verde toll and which caused me a significant increase in expenses, AVIS simply said that it was the customer who should know the toll class. Including the toll class of vehicles in the rental contract should be mandatory to avoid errors of this nature. Disgraceful customer service, irresponsibility and lack of empathy.
Great service, very friendly staff
What a joke, I made the reservation, waited 72 hours for confirmation and no response. I called to ask and the moment I informed my name, the email arrived informing me that the van was not available and worst of all, they will refund my money in 7 days, a total lack of respect and professionalism.
They don't even respond to reservation requests.
