I rented an ebike for 5 days from Bike a Wish near the Marina in Vilamoura. Excellent bike, excellent price and excellent service. They delivered the bike to my villa and collected it at the end of the rental period at no extra charge. Will definitely use again.
I rented a mountain bike for several hours in October and honestly can't understand the positive reviews. The lender did not have much idea about the technology of his bikes. The chain was completely dirty. Brakes did not work well and the MTB weighed way too much. He told me that these things will get fixed at the end of the holiday season. Normally he should clean and fix the bikes from time to time. If they other bike rentals had not all been fully booked, then I would never have rented a bike here. The positive reviews are deceiving. It should have been a sign to me.
This bike is beautiful!! I didn’t expect that bike. And it was in perfect condition ( i think it is new actually ) The owner was very nice and gave me useful advises ! If It’s possible to give 6 stars I’d give 6🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you! ☺️
I pre booked a road bike for three days use, I contacted in advance where my request was dealt with efficiently and quickly. A quality service and a quality product too. The bike provided this year was a Pinarello Angliru which was in great condition and a joy to use. I've used Bike A Wish in Vilamoura on a number of occasions and I can't recommend them highly enough.
Very friendly and helpful staff, they even phoned my hotel to negotiate somewhere to keep the bike during my stay. The bike was good quality and very well maintained (much better than most I have hired from other places over the years), which gave me confidence to go quite a long way on it. The area around Vilamoura could do with being a little flatter but I don't think I can blame Bike A Wish for that!! I will definitely hire from them again when I'm in the area.
Nous avons réservé une balade à vélo de 3 heures sur les bords de Ria Formosa. Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Notre guide était super nous as laissés le temps de prendre des photos et prendre notre temps. La communication avec les gérants de cette activité est vraiment bien, ils sont très réactifs. De plus, nous avons eu la chance d emmener avec nous notre petit chien, nous avons un sac bulle afin de lui faire faire un maximum d activités avec nous, et bike a wish vilamoura nous a permis de l emmener avec nous ! Une expérience très sympathique, attention quand même à être en forme physiquement pour pouvoir pédaler les 3h de vélo. Bien que l itinéraire soit relativement plat les 3 heures de vélo restent physiques.

Muito bom! Localização excelente perto da Marina de Vilamoura. Abertos o ano inteiro, o que nos permite contar com eles sempre que cá voltamos. Permitem alugar por períodos longos ou até mais curtos também. O valor de aluguer é bastante justo e ja inclui capacete, cadeado, bolsa e luzes. Recomendo. A nossa família e amigos já usam. Os proprietários são simpáticos e recomendam percursos. Ficamos a conhecer sítios novos.

Uma experiência a repetir
Aluguei 4 bicicletas por um dia e meio (duas delas novas mas já com pequenas marcas de uso) para percurso entre casa e praia, sempre em estrada de alcatrão. Preço por dia de 20 . Quando foram devolvidas quem as recebeu informou-me que tinha de pagar 50 por, literalmente 3 riscos na parte inferior do quadro que mal se vêem. São riscos pequenos e superficiais criados pelo uso normal de uma bicicleta, mesmo com todo o cuidado. Já tinha vários iguais, nem sei se não estariam já lá. Considerei totalmente desadequado e de má fé esta cobrança , além de ser de um valor desproporcionado face ao valor do suposto dano e do aluguer (2,5 vezes o valor do aluguer diário). Pior de tudo foi o dono que quando apresentei queixa foi malcriado e me queria expulsar, valendo a senhora que me atendeu que o mandou embora. Não é honesto nem transparente.
Super Fahrradverleih, sehr , sehr netter Mitarbeiter der kompetent die Einführung der Fahrräder durchführte. Anlieferung und Abholung der E-Bikes am Hotel, was uns viel Zeit ersparte. Bei einer Reifenpanne unterwegs wurde uns superschnell geholfen, Kommunikation lief spitze. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.!!! Great bike rental, very, very nice employee who competently introduced the bikes. Delivery and collection of the e-bikes at the hotel, which saved us a lot of time. When we had a flat tire on the way, we were helped very quickly and communication was great. Can just be recommended.!!! Iris, October 2023
Not worth it shabby bikes need fixing go to Villamoura bikes they have amazing bikes and are sturdy too, bike a wish have tacky bikes. They don t even deserve 1 star but had no choice otherwise it wouldn t let me proceed. Owner is arrogant & hates people of different skin. They also need to speak in English with their British customers. Please avoid this place you will waste your time with them. I had the worst experience with them last month.

Before I travelled to Villamoura (March 2019) I emailed Bike A Wish to organise to hire a mountain bike for 3 days of my stay, Joana quickly replied letting me know the hire rates and even telling me that when I arrived at the Hotel the night before Bike A Wish would gladly drop off the Bike so that I had it for the full 3 days starting the hire from the following morning all at no extra cost. When the bike arrived it was a nearly new mountain bike in top condition with helmet, chain, lock and accessory bag to hold the items in which was also free of charge. When I finished the hire 3 days later I just had to leave the bike in hotel reception and Bike A Wish would come to collect it. I have never left a review before on anything but because of the helpful service I highly recommend Bike A wish to anyone looking to hire a bike in this area. I will definitely be using them again !! Went on a guided bike tour of Ria Formosa National Park with Bike a Wish, Vilamoura . Our guide Ruben was informative and we enjoyed our trip.
Hired 2 bikes on a whim while passing shop. Friendly staff and good quality bikes. Had a great time exploring towns next to Vilamoura at our own pace. Highly recommended
Best bikes in Vilamoura.
We did the best of Vilamoura tour. It was approximately 30 pounds each. It lasted about 2 and a half hours. It was fun and the tour guide was nice and informative . But I would have enjoyed a break halfway for some ice cream or a cold drink as it was very hot and they only give you 30ml of water. However still enjoyable.
Enjoyed it . Would have liked the tour but needed 2 . So had to settle for bike hire. Good way to see Vilamora

2 Wochen lang sind wir mit gemieteten E-Bikes durch Portugal gefahren. In Lissabon haben wir sie abgeholt und in Vilamoure wieder abgegeben. Es war eine wunderschöne Tour. Die Fahrräder waren qualitativ top und die Mitarbeiter super freundlich. Vielen Dank!
