These gentlemen changed my battery 6 months ago unnecessarily, because the problem wasn't with the battery, but with something that was consuming energy even when it was turned off. I left the car parked for a week and...it wouldn't start. I went to the garage, left the car there and the next day, without telling me anything, they wanted to put an alternator in the car, because if I didn't put one in, the car wouldn't make it to the Algarve. I didn't put an alternator in, I went, came back and drove more than 400km and no problem. They wanted to charge me €500 for something the car didn't need, and on top of that they scared me...it gave the impression that they wanted to get rid of an alternator they had there.
