A reserva foi super facil! Quando tive duvidas antes de fazer a reserva liguei e foram optimos a responder-me tudo o que precisava. À chegada ja tinha a equipa à minha espera para me trazer ao escritório para levantar o veículo; foi super rápido cerca de 2minutos do terminal! A chegada ao escritório foi recebido com um sorriso e com tudo pronto para levantar o veículo... mais uma vez a comunicação foi clara e esclarecedora. Até agora o serviço é 5 estrelas! Mais tarde farei nova review sobre o veiculo e ao retorno.

Excelente experiencia. Nos dieron el coche que reservamos, el cual estaba limpio y en buen estado. El precio fue muy adecuado y más barato en comparación con otras compañías. Contratamos el seguro a todo riesgo al realizar la reserva (afortunadamente no tuvimos problemas). Lo único es que tuvimos que pagar 90 EUR de seguro de repuesto de combustible (por un problema con nuestro banco) pero pudimos devolver el coche con el tanque casi vacío. A destacar también la amabilidad y disposición a ayudar del personal. Si volvemos a Madeira, definitivamente consideraremos esta empresa para el alquiler de coche.

Note: you should have credit card. * Car (skoda fabia 1.0 with dsg auto gearbox) - car in a good condition, suited me well on madeiran roads. I highly recommended getting a car with automatic gearbox if you are not are familiar with driving on mountain roads. * There is a car wash/petrol station next to the place where you are expected to return the car. No problems with returning the car with employee who performed the inspection (Michael). * Shuffle bus drove me back to the airport.

1. Auto mit extrem runter gefahrenen Bremsen (beim Bremsen mit höheren Geschwindigkeiten vibrierte das Auto extrem - hatten einen Seat Ibiza). Tausch des Autos unkompliziert und Peugeot 208 erhalten, dieser war in gutem Zustand, aber sehr abgefahrene Reifen. Personal sehr freundlich, bei der Rückgabe wurde aber akribisch nach Schäden gesucht. Bei einem Schaden mussten Fotos vorgezeigt werden & noch diskutiert werden. Am Ende wurde nicht berechnet. Preis 6 /Tag unschlagbar. Ich würde hier wieder mieten, aber dokumentieren sie alles sehr genau und unbedingt technischen Zustand des Fahrzeugs prüfen

**Achtung: Bloß die Finger von Cassiano s Rent a Car auf Madeira unfassbarer Service durch den Mitarbeiter Hugo!** Unsere Erfahrung mit Cassiano s Rent a Car war eine einzige Katastrophe. Der Mitarbeiter Hugo war extrem unfreundlich und hat uns während des gesamten Prozesses schikaniert. Nach einer scheinbaren Einigung über die Fahrzeugübergabe hat er uns die Schlüssel wieder entzogen, nur um seinen Willen durchzusetzen. Dadurch wurden wir gezwungen, **über zwei Stunden** unnötig am Standort zu verbringen eine Zumutung, insbesondere mit zwei kleinen Kindern (1 und 3 Jahre alt). Das Fahrzeug, das wir am Ende erhielten, war eine Gefahr für die Straße: **schlechte Reifen**, die niemals den Sicherheitsstandards entsprochen haben. Es ist unverantwortlich, Kunden vor allem Familien mit solch einem Zustand fahren zu lassen. Auch hier gilt: Die auf der Website gemachten Versprechungen entsprechen nicht der Realität. **Am Flughafen gibt es keinen Abholservice**, und die Organisation vor Ort ist chaotisch und unprofessionell. Cassiano s Rent a Car und der unfreundliche Hugo haben unser Vertrauen komplett zerstört. **Hände weg von dieser Autovermietung!**

Abholung vom Flughafen lief nicht ganz reibungslos und mussten etwas warten. Vor Ort wurden vom Betreiber eigene Fotos vom Auto gemacht, für die Unterlagen. Das Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für jegliche Fragen offen und haben zu Anfang schon alles ausführlich erklärt. Die Abgabe ging super schnell und dennoch super freundlich. Preis Leistung war auch sehr gut. Das Auto war komplett fahrtüchtig und sauber.

Super freundlich, fast neues Auto in klasse Zustand (lange nicht einen so gut ausgestatteten Kleinwagen gehabt: 20.000km, viel Leistung, Rückfahrkamera, Piepser für Abstandshaltung, Frontkamera etc.), einfache Abholung und schnelle Rückgabe. Wo wurden unmittelbar nach Abgabe des Wagens zum Flughafen gebracht.

He presentado mi tarjeta de crédito y nos obligaban a pagar extra de conductor adicional sin darnos la alternativa de poner el contrato a mi nombre que ni lo tenía hecho. Wir haben über Check24 für 6 Tage einen Seat Arona gemietet und bekamen einen VW T-Cross (fast das gleiche Auto). Nach einem kurzen Anruf erschien bereits 2 Minuten später der Shuttle-Service am Flughafen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und gab uns genug Zeit, Fotos vom Auto zu machen und alle Kratzer/Mängel zu dokumentieren. Das Auto war vollgetankt, perfekt sauber und hatte ca. 30000km Laufleistung. Es wurde zwar eine Zusatzversicherung angeboten, aber nachdem ich auf unsere bestehende Versicherung über Check24 hingewiesen hatte, wurde dies sofort akzeptiert. Die Kaution für Selbstbeteiligung (1400 ) und Tank (90 ) war wie bei Check24 angegeben und wurde auf der Kreditkarte geblockt (Achtung: keine Debitkarten!). Die Rückgabe verlief problemlos, hat nur ca. 5 Minuten gedauert und wir wurden anschließend direkt zum Flughafen gefahren. Insgesamt kann ich Cassianos Rent a Car sehr empfehlen!

Positives Autoqualität: Das Fahrzeug war sauber, gut gepflegt und technisch einwandfrei. Es hat uns zuverlässig durch unsere gesamte Reise begleitet. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Der Preis war fair und entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Es gab keine versteckten Kosten oder unangenehme Überraschungen. Service: Die Abwicklung bei der Rückgabe verlief reibungslos und schnell. Wir hatten bereits am nächsten Morgen den geblockten Betrag auf der Kreditkarte wieder freigegeben, was wir als sehr positiv empfanden. Verbesserungspotential Es gibt jedoch einige Punkte, bei denen wir Verbesserungsbedarf sehen: Abholung am Flughafen: Obwohl die Beschreibung in der E-Mail gut war, hatten wir Schwierigkeiten, den Treffpunkt zu finden. Es war nicht sofort ersichtlich, wo genau wir abgeholt werden sollten, und es war zunächst niemand am Treffpunkt zu sehen. Ein Schild oder eine Person vor Ort wären hilfreich gewesen, um den Treffpunkt klarer zu kennzeichnen. Kreditkartenregelung: Es gab einige Verwirrungen bezüglich der Kreditkarten. Es wurde darauf bestanden, dass man die physische Kreditkarte vorlegen muss, um das Auto zu erhalten. Meiner Meinung nach ist dies unnötig, da auch über NFC Beträge blockiert werden können so haben wir es bereits in Hotels oder bei anderen Vermietungen erlebt. Zudem wurde anderen Kunden gesagt, dass man mit einer Debitkarte keinen Betrag blockieren könne. Bei uns hat es jedoch problemlos funktioniert. Fazit Abgesehen von diesen kleineren Unannehmlichkeiten waren wir mit dem Service von Cassiano s Rent a Car sehr zufrieden und würden definitiv wieder dort buchen. Der Service war insgesamt professionell und das Auto in einem hervorragenden Zustand perfekt für eine stressfreie Reise!

Great quality/price ratio. It is a great alternative to the big fish of rental cars. Very customised service. Shuttle service from and to airport, and even to Funchal or Machico. I did the reservation long before the trip through Discover Cars and didnt read the documents and insurance included properly. So, I ended up paying the insurance that Cassianos cars offer, which seemed better as in case of any trouble I did not have to worry at all. With this, I didnt need to use a credit card for the 1200 deposit. It might be a good option when you are travelling for just a few days, but in highsight I didnt needed that extra insurance. What I would do next time is to book directly with them hoepfully getting a better deal and cover my booking with their insurance. So, I am recommend is to ready carefully your paperwork before the pickup in case you book the car through other companies or try and get directly in touch with Cassianos.

Rented a car at Cassianos and unfortunately it was an allround terrible experience from the car itself to the service. Starting with the car, we hadnt even arrived at our hotel before the check tyre pressure light turned on. When checking the tyres we werent surprised the tyres had no profile left whatsoever, which is a disgrace taking into account that there are very steep hills on Madeira. Also they tried to trick us into taking out an extra insurance on the car while this is completely unnecessary if you already took one out. In my opinion, not how you treat your customers.

Ok, but inflexible and lied to me. Tried to extend rental after booking. Sent email through the website, got no answer. Before receiving the car I and signing contract I asked about extending. Was told I would get same price just need to call. In the next days I tried visiting and calling, was told its ok just do it next day because no b supervisors. Finally I got answer with much higher price offered.

Der Wagen an sich war in Ordnung, er hatte zwar ein paar Schrammen aber sonst alles ok, Apple car Play vorhanden. Allerdings hat man mir 47 zusätzlich berechnet als Jungfahrergebühr. Ich bin aktuell 25, laut den Anbieterbedingungen von Check24 gilt die Gebühr nur für Fahrer UNTER 25. das stand auch so in meinem Voucher von Check24. Vor Ort musste ich dann aber trotzdem bezahlen. Ich bekomme das Geld zwar über Check24 zurück, ist trotzdem aber höchst unprofessionell. Die Argumentation der Mitarbeiter und des Chefs vor Ort war scheinheilig und unglaubwürdig. Es hieß nur no Money no car . Dann beim zurückgeben wollte man mir die fehlende Antenne berechnen, man zeigte sogar Fotos vom Auto mit angeblich korrektem Datum. Allerdings zeigte sich auf den von mir zu Beginn gemachten Fotos, dass bereits zu diesem Zeitpunkt keine Antenne vorhanden war. Erst dann räumte man ein, dass man wohl die Bilder mit dem falschen Datum herausgesucht hatte und es wurde hektisch im Handy nach anderen Fotos gesucht. Machte einen unprofessionellen Eindruck. Unbedingt Fotos vorher und nachher machen, von jedem Detail des Autos!

Na miejscu oczywi cie proponowano nam wykupienie ubezpieczenia, pomimo posiadanego w DiscoverCars, ale wystarczy odmówi . Pani z obs ugi upewni a si jedynie, e jestem wiadoma tego, e w zwi zku z tym zablokuj kwot franszyzy na karcie kredytowej. Zablokowano równie 90 na poczet paliwa, pomimo tego e na voucherze nie ma takiej informacji, ale po przeczytaniu o opinii o tej wypo yczalni wiedzia am, e to nast pi. Niestety mieli my problemy z hamulcami, co przy Maderskich drogach jest skrajnie niebezpieczne, wi c podjechali my na miejsce, gdzie po sprawdzeniu, auto od razu zosta o wymienione na inne. I tutaj zarówno obs uga w biurze, jak i ch opaki z myjni (sprawdzili auto) byli bardzo sympatyczni i pomocni. Nie mam co do tego adnych zastrze e . Kontrakt zosta przeniesiony i tyle. Równie , je li chodzi o zwrot auta, to wszystko przebieg o sprawnie i bez problemu, a kierowca podrzuci nas do Santa Cruz w okolic pla y, bo mieli my troch czasu do wylotu. 4 gwiazdki jedynie za to, e stan techniczny aut powinien by dok adniej weryfikowany, ale te nasza sytuacja mog a wynika z tego, e klienci nie zg aszaj problemów technicznych z autami przy ich zwrocie. Ogólnie bardzo polecam i na pewno skorzystam w przysz o ci. Auto by o nowe i czyste, obs uga na du y plus (wszystkich bardzo pozdrawiam i dzi kuj za super serwis!).

Wir sind mit unserem Baby am Flughafen angekommen, nachdem ich dort angerufen habe und wir einige Zeit gewartet haben, kam der Bus um uns abzuholen. Sofort drängten sich weitere Kunden in den Bus, sodass wir keinen Platz mehr hatten. Wir mussten wieder warten und der nächste Bus nahm uns dann mit. Bei Cassianos mussten wir wieder lange warten, unser Baby wurde immer unruhiger, auch weil es sehr heiß war. Keiner interessierte sich dafür. Als wir dran kamen, erklärte man uns, dass die Kaution von 1600 Euro nicht funktionieren würde, da unsere Visa Karten nicht geeignet seien, wir haben 4 verschiedene Karten und keine würde funktionieren. Daher könne unser gebuchtes Angebot mit Versicherung nicht genutzt werden. Nach langer Diskussion und weil wir mit unserem Baby nicht mehr länger in der Hitze warten konnten, bezahlen wir schießen zusätzlich zu dem bereits bezahlten noch einmal über 400 Euro für eine zweite Versicherung und einen Babysitz. Den Sitz legten uns die Mitarbeiter einfach nur hin, nachdem wir ihn nicht eingebaut bekommen und fragten ob uns jemand helfen kann, ignorierten uns die Mitarbeiter. Es war eine sehr schwierige Situation für uns und das Baby. Wir mussten mit einem nicht korrekt eingebauten Sitz in einem Auto bei dem die Bremsen dauernd quietschten los fahren. Die Abgabe verlief unkompliziert und relativ zügig, die Frau die uns an den Flughafen fuhr war sehr nett. Daher 2 Sterne.

Null Sternen, die Abholung am Flughafen hat schon 40 Minuten gedauert. Nach mehreren telefonischen Versuche, ist endlich jemand ans Telefon gegangen. Die wollten uns noch irgendwelche Zusatzversicherungen aufschwatzen, aber wir hatten ja schon eine Versicherung. Als das Auto vorgefahren wurde, haben wir Bilder gemacht von allen Kratzern, aber wir haben vergessen den Innenraum des Autos zu fotografieren. Und das wurde uns zum Verhängnis. Die sagten der Beifahrersitz ist schmutzig, wir müssen 50 Euro für die Reinigung bezahlen. Dabei haben wir weder gegessen noch getrunken im Auto. Bilder von vorher wollten Sie uns nicht zeigen und wir konnten nichts beweisen. Also nicht empfehlenswert, die versuchen auf dieser Art extra Geld zu verdienen. Wir waren nicht die Einzigen, es wurde direct vor unseren Augen noch jemanden betrogen. Sehr ärgerlich

When returning the car they charged 250 euros for a scratch on the tire jant and refused to show me the pictures they took on the pick off blaming me for that. I also took pictures but the pickup was at 8pm and it was dark and I didn t focus on the tires. The feeling as well was shady and the experience felt very bad, 250 euros for a tire jant is just ridiculous, I did the insurance via discover cars but it really feels like they inflating prices.

ATTENTION ARNAQUE ! Moi et ma compagne avons réservé une location de voiture pour 5 jours. Nayant pas à notre possession une carte de crédit (comme 95% des français), nous avions seulement une carte de débit et ils nous ont pas laissé le choix de souscrire à une assurance dun prix astronomique. Nous avons dû payer quasiment 400 en supplémentaire, sans compter le gazole. Ils savaient très bien que nous étions étranger et ils ont profité de cela pour nous arnaquer. Wir waren mit dem Mietwagen und dem Service sehr zufrieden. Der Service war sehr freundlich, wir mussten nicht lange auf den Shuttle warten und zum Flughafen wurden wir auch sehr schnell gebracht. Ja es wird versucht eine Versicherung zu verkaufen und ja es gibt eine Kontrolle am Ende aber Hauptaugenmerk waren größere Kratzer/Dellen und die Felgen. Wir würden hier auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

We recently rented a car from Cassianos on Madeira, and overall, we were very satisfied. The shuttle service that picked us up from the airport was quick and reliable. The car was in good condition, the return process was smooth, and the company was easily reachable throughout. Everything went flawlessly! A little tip: Call the company as soon as you arrive so they know to send the shuttle. Unfortunately, our first interaction with an employee named Miguel wasn t very pleasant. He seemed unfriendly and gave the impression that he had no interest in his job or in assisting us, which was a bit disappointing, especially when you ve just arrived for your vacation.. On the bright side, we want to give a big shout-out to Maggie (Margerite). She was incredibly friendly and helpful a real standout in the team. Her colleagues could definitely learn a thing or two from her excellent customer service!

Firmen profitieren von Sprachbarriere, Unkenntnis der Gegebenheiten durch Touristen, Zeitdruck, Aussitzen und Ignorieren von Beschwerden. Transparenz, seriöses und kundenorientiertes Verhalten, marktgerechte und faire Preise, Fairness und die Möglichkeit Fragen mit dem Management direkt zu klären, sind bei der Firma CASSIANOS nicht gegeben. Ein Fall für Vorsicht Abzocke ? Die vordergründige Freundlichkeit schlägt um in Arroganz und Überheblichkeit wenn kritisch hinterfragt wird. Der Wunsch mit der Unternehmensleitung zu sprechen, wurde schlicht ignoriert, ein Kontakt wurde nicht ermöglicht. Bleibt offen, ob die Geschäftsleitung dieses und solches Treiben kennt und toleriert. Bei Bedarf Buch verlangen und Sachverhalt eintragen, Kopie mitnehmen. Oft reicht schon die Anforderung des Buches, um Gesprächsbereitschaft zu erzielen. Leider nicht im konkreten Fall. Die Tourismusbehörde ist auf das Thema aufmerksam geworden und empfiehlt, sich die Online Bewertungen anzusehen. Bleibt zu hoffen, dass Touristen weiterhin entsprechend aufgeklärt werden Was kann man tun, um Touristen vor solchen Kostenfallen zu schützen und auch, um Imageschaden zu Lasten der seriösen Geschäftsleute und Bewohner der Insel zu vermeiden. Un loueur qui fait perdre un temps précieux Quand on est en vacances que quelques jours Je déconseille fortement ce loueur. On est passé par trip.com Dès la prise en main de la voiture (3008) les freins faisaient un bruit insupportable et inquiétant. Nous avons dû appeler l assurance, qui est intervenue et a confirmé que le véhicule était dangereux. Ils ont récupéré la voiture et, en taxi, nous sommes retournés chercher une autre voiture le lendemain matin. À notre arrivée, rien n était prêt et, comble de l ironie, on nous demande de payer pour les 20 km d essence effectués la veille ! Ils sont partis avec la voiture hier soir ! On nous a rien dit ! Une véritable perte de temps, et un service client inexistant. Passez votre chemin ! Au passage si vous réservez avec trip.com l assurance supplémentaire est de 400 euros ou sinon c est 3000 de caution étant donné la conduite et les parking étroits, réfléchissez.

ARNAQUE! (Lisez bien les avis des autres aussi!) À la récupération du véhicule, ils ont exigé une assurance de 250 supplémentaires car ma CB (comme 95% des CB française) est une carte de débit et pas de crédit. Soit disant ça ne permet pas de prendre une empreinte pour la caution première fois qu on me dit ça alors que je voyage souvent à ça n a jamais posé de soucis. Ils ont donc exigé qu on pait moi et une autre cliente française l assurance. Sachant que ma location coutait initialement 190 . De plus ils m annoncent 180euro d assurance (soit le même montant que la cliente française qui était la) et quand ils me donnent le contrat à signer c est 250 car soit disant ma Fiat Tipo est plus cher que le VW TRoc de la française. Bah voyons. Ils savent pertinemment que les français n ont que des cartes de débit et à aucun moment ne cherchent à prévenir leurs clients tout ça pour les obliger à payer l assurance une fois que c est trop tard. De plus le dernier jour j ai eu une panne sur le véhicule en plein trajet. J ai donc appelé l assistance (le loueur m avait clairement dit « dès que vous avez un souci, appelez l assistance ! »). J ai ensuite appelé l agence pour les informer et la ces derniers me disent d annuler à tout pris l assistance et de revenir à l agence malgré un voyant moteur allumé et un véhicule qui avait des pertes de puissance. Après m avoir menacé de garder mes 90euro de caution si je ne pouvais pas faire le plein (sachant que je n étais pas sur de pouvoir rouler longtemps avec). J ai donc haussé le ton, mais une fois arrivé à l agence, personne n est venu pour s excuser du désagrément, aucune excuse quant à la demi journée perdu à gérer l incident. De plus, j avais loué une Hyundai Bayon et ils m ont donné une Fiat Tipo (donc gamme inférieure) et dont les freins ont grincé tout le séjour et un rétroviseur n était pas réglable. Pour encaisser l argent il y a du monde mais dès qu il y a un soucis il n y a plus personne. Aucune politesse, désagréable. A FUIR !!!

Très bonne compagnie de location de voiture à Santa Cruz. Ils sont venu nous chercher à l aéroport puis nous ont accompagné dans les démarches pour clôturer notre réservation n ayant pas de carte de crédit (point important pour les cautions « attention à vos cartes bancaires « ). N allant pas à l aéroport directement après avoir déposé notre voiture, ils nous ont proposé de nous déposé à notre hôtel. Très serviable, gentil, et patient. Je recommande fortement. Merci.

Attention au prix attractif 2 choses à prendre en compte : - 90 le plein d essence facturé lors du pick up (pour une voiture de 35L..) Ok on peut le rendre vide mais l est il vraiment ..? - bien de renseigner sur les cartes de CRÉDIT pour la caution, là dessus ils ne feront aucun effort ! Obligatoirement le conducteur qui doit payer avec sa propre carte de CREDIT (inscrit en petites lignes dans le contrat .. ) Vous serez donc obligé de payer une assurance facturée plusieurs centaines d euros dans le cas contraire .. CONTRAIREMENT à d autres loueurs de véhicules sur l île BIEN PLUS ARRANGEANT Ils en sont parfaitement conscient car selon leurs dire cela arrive régulièrement et nous avons pu voir d autres touristes français avec le même problème Un simple mail au préalable lors de la réservation aurait évité ce malentendu et apaiser la situation

Atraem os clientes com preços atrativos, mas ao chegaram no escritorio da empresa tornam-se completamente outros. Não querem saber dos clientes, pois como muitas outras empresas com este tamanho e quantidade de clientes/carros, não querem saber de nós porque sabem que momentos asseguir ja vai vir outro em busca de carro.

Mietwagen wurde über check24 gebucht, vor Ort lief alles problemlos, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und nett. Bei Ankunft am Flughafen haben wir die Mietwagenfirma angerufen, innerhalb von 10 Minuten wurden wir abgeholt. Transfer zur Mietwagenfirma ca. 10 mins. Das Auto war wie gebucht und hatte schon 35.000 km drauf, Auto lief aber einwandfrei. Rückgabe ebenfalls problemlos und schnell, wurden im Anschluss zum Flughafen gebracht. Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Prenotato tramite discover cars. Auto di classe diversa da quella che da me prenotata. Avevo crossover perché mi serviva più bagagliaio e mi hanno dato una fiat tipo berlina con la metà di capacità e non la cintura non funzionante. Ti trattengono anche la cauzione benzina quando arrivi (non è indicato da nessuna parte sui voucher di prenotazione) cosa mai vista finora. La macchina che mi hanno dato aveva le pasticche dei.freni completamente finite cosa che a Madeira è assolutamente folle.

Worst experience ever made with a company rent car. We were lured to make a full damages insurance, once arrived at the office to withdraw the car, in addiction to the one you have automatically by booking the car. We were said that everything was fully covered, even the people in the car were covered in any case. On the third of day of usage, the car - a new Volkswagen golf - broke down all of the sudden while driving on the state highway of Funchall and the cars gears stopped functioning. Once at the office to replace the car - what you would expect by making the full coverage - we were told either we were going to pay more than 1000 or we would have not received another car. They appealed to the contract clause negligent driving that they couldnt even prove. The 2 drivers were both experienced drivers with more than 10 years of driving and we only did asphalt roads, not even unpaved roads in order not to risk anything. Plus, they kept also the rest of the money for the rental as we did only 3 days out of 6 with the car. This is just a way to make money on tourists. Avoid them.

Very friendly staff, cars are clean and in very good condition, they are 5 min away from airport, service was a bit slow on arrival, no one to great at the airport had to call them and waited about 20 minutes, thats its the only downside I found, but it was August and on a very busy day. Despite that I recommend them and definitely will use them again.

Such a great rental experience in Madeira. We were picked up in a shuttle at the airport and driven less than 5 minutes to the office. The staff are so kind and helpful. The rental price and car quality were great. We even scratched the car (our biggest fear - the first time either of us have ever scratched any car) and were very nervous about how it would be handled, but they were super nice about it, the fee was extremely reasonable, and they helped us sort it out with our insurance. Highly recommend!

After arrival I called service and guy was already waiting for us with the van at the airport as company is from the other side of the airport and has service for clients to transfer them to office. Weve got almost a new car. Check in and check out easy and friendly. Standard conditions like full to full. Deposit only 1.200 eur. When leaving again in one minute guy was there taking us to the airport. Fully appreciate and recommend this company.

What a surprisingly pleasant experience renting a car from this company. Car was quite new, coped perfectly adequately in the mountains but yet small enough to manoeuvre around narrow roads around town. A breathe of fresh air from other pushy car rentals I have experienced travelling around the world.

Hubo un problema técnico donde mi reserva constaba que sería de 5 días, pero en el correo salía como 4. Al llegar me hicieron pagar por ese quinto día (con un precio bastante inflado). Nos dieron un coche que no subía las cuestas si no era en primera o segunda y con el embrague destrozado. La atención fue buena, pero siento que se aprovechan bastante del cliente para subir precios en cualquier momento. Lo que desde un principio ponía que iba a ser 75 euros, acabaron siendo 250 Lo que es cierto es que te recogen del aeropuerto y también te llevan a la vuelta. Eso muy bien.

Too bad there is no note 0 for scams.I advise you all to check other companies before renting with them. It s common practice for them to add their insurance to your rental. The initial price they advertise is cheaper than other companies, but once they add their insurance, you ll end up paying more. We already had insurance through the booking site, but they refused to accept it and forced us to take their own insurance, citing issues with our credit card. We had a credit card that we ve used many times in other European countries in the past, including Portugal, but they didn t care. It s disappointing that our first encounter in Madeira was with people who have such manners and engage in these practices. Consider this a scam and be cautious.

Très bonne expérience avec cette agence de location de voiture. Voiture récupérée le soir même de notre arrivée après quil soit venu nous chercher à laéroport. Pour Madère, je recommande de prendre une voiture la plus petite possible avec suffisamment de puissance car cest une île extrêmement vallonnée avec des passages étroits dès que lon sort des grands axes routiers. Voiture rendue directement à léléphant bleu juste en dessous où ils ont une petite succursale et nous ont déposés à laéroport.

Me and my friends rented a car from Cassianos through Discover Cars. We were shocked to realise that Discover Cars had charged us £84 as a service charge, which had no relation to the amount that Cassianos charged us. Natasha was very helpful and understanding, and tried to help us the best she could. Great customer service!! We now know for next time to hire through the rental companies directly instead of going through third parties.. its easy enough. The car (Skoda Fabia, automatic) drove very well, it was also very clean when we got it. We opted to take out their insurance for piece of mind, especially on the steep and narrow hills on the island. Overall great experience :)

A reptéri transzfer, a papirmunka a kocsi átadásakor 5 csillag. A szimpatikus és figyelmes fiatalember miatt lehetne akár ott még egy hatodik csillag is... A kocsi - volvo xc40 - mindössze 3 csillag. Ez a kocsi nem premium kategória. Középkori fedélzeti rendszer, nincs navigáció, nincs android autó csatlakozás. Az ülése akár egy furgoné. A kocsi leadása 4 csillag. Napi 40 euros biztosítás mellett az átvev ne számolja a kerekeket, hanem vegye el a kulcsot és viszlát. Alapjában véve nincs itt semmi gond , de úgy érzem nem azt kaptam a pénzemért amire számítottam.

They were great to deal with. We phoned for a shuttle from the airport and they arrived within 10 mins. Theyre then only 5-10mins away. They were very polite and never felt like they were trying to draw more money out of us. Returning the vehicle was nice and easy. Only took a few mins and their shuttle was ready waiting to take us back to the airport.

An awful experience. On the very first morning of using the car it broke down and had to be towed away from the car park. Cassiano s at first accused me of filling it with diesel [edit: since they read this review, Cassianos have been emailing me to say they werent accusing me of filling it with diesel, but asking if the car was filled with diesel]. When I told them this was incorrect, they said a manager would call me. I never received this call. I asked for a refund which they initially refused. Later they said they could do it but not to my original Amex card. Instead they started asking for personal banking details. It was very suspicious. I have continued to ask them for a regular refund but have not had it. Very dodgy. I regret not paying a little extra for a mainstream company eg Hertz / Europcar. The mainstream companies are also based at the airport rather than requiring extra shuttles offsite. [edit: after getting Amex involved, and additional emails back and forth with Cassiano s, I have been refunded to my Amex]

Rita nous a donné un service incroyable. Nous ne pouvions pas payer, car nous avions seulement des cartes visa avec NIP à 5 chiffres, alors que leur appareil de paiement de prend que les cartes de crédit avec NIP de 4 chiffres. Le personnel a été excessivement patient, et le propriétaire m a même prêté son cellulaire personnel afin que je communique avec ma banque, car je n avais pas de ligne téléphonique. Un gros merci de nous avoir aidé et pris en charge de la sorte!

Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Auto war pünktlich abholbereit und die Marke und Größe war okay. Der Transfer zum/ vom Terminal war optimal. Was inakzeptabel war, war der technische Zustand. Die Reifen vorn waren stark abgefahren, der Reifendruck war um die Hälfte zu wenig, die Radschrauben nicht kpl fest. Ganz schlimm war das Bremsen. Die ganze Lenkung vibrierte dabei stark. Wir haben nur das nötigste gefahren. Ein Austausch vor Ort in Calheta wurde abgelehnt. Falls sich die Fahrzeugzustände nicht ändern sollten, kann ich diese Vermietung nicht mehr empfehlen.

Excellent rental car company and customer service. Nice brand new rental car with Apple CarPlay. Located close to the airport, and they offer a quick free shuttle service to and from the airport. If you have your own rental car insurance they won t force you to buy their insurance package, which was very nice. Overall, I highly recommend Cassianos. High security deposit, but all car rental companies on the island have high deposit requirements. I will update review if there s any issues with return.

Auto gehuurd bij Cassianos, we werden opgehaald bij de luchthaven naar afleverplaats ongeveer 10 min . De gebruikelijke papieren invullen de auto die we besteld hadden stond klaar, door het personeel netjes geholpen, zou de volgende keer weer bij hun een auto huren.

Wir hatten für 7 Tage ein Auto gemietet. Von Anfang bis zum Schluss lief einfach alles super. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter (insbesondere Herr Jo o) und schnelle Abholung am Flughafen. Unser Fahrzeug, ein Seat Ibiza, war modern und gepflegt. Ideal um die Insel zu erkunden. Tipp, unbedingt einen Kleinwagen reservieren da die Strassen vielerorts sehr eng sind. Die Fahrzeugabgabe war sehr einfach und auf Wunsch wird man wieder an den Flughafen gebracht.

Excellent car rental company! Convenient shuttle service (just a 5 minute ride), friendly staff (shoutout to Geral) and great cars (we got a 2024 Seat Arona). Since the roads at Madeira can be narrow and steep, I would recommend renting a small(ish) automatic vehicle with hill-assist.

Rent a car experience went great. There were no problems with Cassiano s. All the girls who gave me the car and then came and checked it when I delivered it were nice. They do not try to hide anything from you. I did not get any insurance since I have my own. They take a security deposit but as long as you take care of the car, there will be no problems. Don t listen to any negative reviews, this company was a perfect experience.

Das Auto war top! Nervig war, dass man mehrfach versucht hat uns weitere Versicherungen und ein größeres Auto anzudrehen. Auch, dass dann ca. 10 Minuten Bilder vom Auto gemacht wurden und bei der Rückgabe das Auto 15 Minuten inspiziert wurde war nervig.

I just spent four days in Madeira. Id recommend renting a car and Id recommend Cassianos. The service was great, pickups and dropoffs are quick, and they actually answer the phone when you call. Even though I had insurance through my credit card, I opted to buy the full insurance coverage through Cassianos and Im glad I did. It was worth it for peace of mind. The parking and driving on Madeira is a bit intense. A lot of tight spaces, windy roads, and the potential for scrapes, scratches, and dents.

Die Abholung vom Flughafen hat super funktioniert, der Mietwagen war ziemlich neu und gut gepflegt. Die Übergabe war unkompliziert und alles wurde genau dokumentiert, das war super! Wir hatten leider Probleme bei der Kreditkartenzahlung - Rita, die Mitarbeiterin die uns betreut hat, war jedoch sehr geduldig und hat alles versucht, um uns weiter zu helfen. Am Ende hat es dann mit ihrer Hilfe auch geklappt - Vielen Dank dafür!! Wir haben über Check24 gebucht, inklusive Versicherung. Cassianos wurde über den Versicherungsstatus aber scheinbar nicht informiert, weshalb uns eine Versicherung bei Cassianos direkt empfohlen wurde. Wir wurden allerdings nicht dazu gedrängt nachdem wir abgelehnt hatten.

Competitive price. We were picked up from the airport within 10 minutes of phoning them. We were quickly seen by Marianna who was friendly and professional. There was no hard sell to buy their enhanced insurance once we explained we had our own insurance. The car( new VW Golf) was in excellent clean condition. At the end of the rental period the car was quickly handed over to a staff member who then took us back to the airport. At each stage Cassianos provided a prompt and professional service. We will definitely use them again next time we come to Madeira.

We rented an intermediate sized suv for our family of 4 for a week in Madeira. I ve driven a lot of rental cars in Europe and elsewhere and I have to say this is one of the best rental car agencies I ve ever dealt with. Their check in and checkout is uncomplicated and transparent when it comes to insurance, contract, car inspection and fuelling. Their customer service is excellent. João was kind, efficient and helped us get on our way. Drop off was easy and the shuttle took us to the airport right away. Best of all, the car was basically new and in excellent condition, especially for climbing and descending a lot of steep hills in the island. Price was very affordable. Don t know if they are the cheapest on the island, but very affordable vs what we ve paid in our other travels. Would not hesitate to rent from Cassiano s again.

So far the service was fast and very accurate. João picked us up at the arport and assisted us with all the paperwork. He was very attentive and professional. Great person and worker. We had a problem with the flight and after calling the company, they kept the car for another day as the plane couldnt land on scheduled time. We did the booking through a third company, but I would suggest booking straight with them.

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews, but everything went well with our car rental. I wanted to share my experience as I was looking for these kind of review when selecting a car rental company. My objectives were reasonable price, no credit card required and airport pickup for no extra charge. We have spent 6 days in Madeira in the beginning of February 2024 with the Toyota AygoX and went to Vereda da Ponta Sao Lourenco, Fanal Forest, Levada do Caldeirao Verde and Pico do Arierio. If you plan to visit and park inside any city, prepare coins for the parking machines, the application did not work for us. I prefer small and automatic cars and and it was very practical for the narrow streets, but of course a stronger engine might be more suitable for the steep roads - it was manageable for us with this small one, maybe next time I would try a bigger car. I paid for the premium insurance and an additional driver so both of us could drive. In the contract the existing scratches were listed accurately and fortunately we did not add any more to that. We returned the car with a full tank (as required), so no penalties were charged. The transfer from and to the airport was punctual and we were punctual on the agreed pick up time too. It seems that the issue in most of the reviews is the credit card deposit or the premium insurance, but I havent seen any other car rental company where they would let you rent a car without either of these.

NEVER use Cassiano s as they are scammers! I normally leave only 5 star reviews and only when I m very happy and impressed by a service. I don t leave bad reviews but this time Cassiano s really deserved it I had an extremely bad experience with Cassiano s rentacar that spoiled the start of my holiday in Madeira. It is quite disappointing when you go to a wonderful destination and some kind of a very poor local company totally destroys your vacation mood in the very beginning In a few words what they do is to practically force you to buy a second insurance locally by the reason that this is the only solution to the problem they have actually created locally in their rentacar shop. And on top of that when you are put in a situation with no other choice and pay with your card later you see that their POS terminal has charged you additionally 4 %. And off course they do NOT tell you that before you pay . If I knew it I would have paid by cash. And when you complain afterwards they don t answer most of the emails. They are not able to explain of justify anything as they know very well they are not right. They offer extremely poor after sales customer service. As a result from their actions they overcharged me with 31 EUR money that they later refused by email to refund. So never go to Cassiano s as they will rip you off! This is obviously their company strategy as when I was in their shop I saw another client of theirs being put in the same situation as me . The detailed story: I booked successfully 1 of their cars with my debit car. I booked through one of their partner sites DISCOVER CARS. In the Cassiano s office I was surprised to hear that to get the car I need a credit card This is kind of misleading as on the DISCOVER CARS web site in the beginning of the booking process debit is enough and in the final moment they require a credit I ve missed to see that in the last stage of booking on the site and on the voucher as the booking process started with a debit. OK, let s say this may happen but locally Cassiano s could of solved the problem easily and block money from my debit card. This is totally possible. I checked that with several finance institutions and people. The Cassiano s employee tried to block money from my debit card but she told me their POS terminal couldn t accept my VISA card. Which was a scam as a minute later the same happened with another customer of theirs. He was with a Master Card and that card wasn t accepted either. Why? Because in this way they force you to buy an insurance Later I saw that their POS terminal has charged me additionally 4 %. And off course they do NOT tell you that before you pay. They did NOTHING to solve the problem in the office or after. Even though they easily could but their only target is the extra money they want to make from their clients. Quite miserable company that rips off their clients locally. Never go to Cassiano s!

Its the first car rental company where mainly women work Ive ever seen. Soraia picked me up from the airport, advised me with an upgrade due to the steep hills and even gave me a list of personal recommendations. When we handed in the car again she was there as well and checked everything. The rental company is very reliable and trustworthy and as I said Soraia is a very nice person! I m always hesitant when reading scam reviews, but we unfortunately fell for this and would not recommend Cassiano s. When we got the car, we felt uneasy as to how much they were pushing their insurance (but still somewhat understandable given they want to make money). However, I truly believe that they treat you differently when you return the car if you don t purchase their insurance. We were charged an interior cleaning fee of 50 due to the smallest sunscreen residue on the back of a seat. The agent told us that they would need to take out all the seats and deep clean the car. I was able to remove a part of the stain using a bit of water from a bottle Moral of the story: If you don t purchase their insurance, expect to be charged a fictitious cost when returning the car!

Le pongo 4 estrellas xq al llegar a la isla estuvimos cerca de 1h esperando el transporte hacia sus instalaciones, cuando me recogieron había tanta gente que tuve que dejar a mi novia en el aeropuerto y solo transportaron a los conductores. Una vez en la oficina , me atendió Natasha, recibí buena atención y me explicó todo los desperfectos que tenía el coche, me ofreció fotografiarlo y grabarlo para asegurarme después de que no hubiese desperfectos. Una vez entregado el coche, lo revisaron por completo, tanto mecánicamente como de chapa y pintura, todo perfecto no le han sacado nada. Al dejarlo completamente repostado y no encontrar nada, no nos han hecho ningún cargo extra. La vuelta al aeropuerto ha sido rápida y sin problemas. Recomiendo esta compañía en Madeira. Aún que si vuelvo cogeré el seguro para no tener bloqueado tanto dinero en la tarjeta. Un saludo.

We had very good experience with this car rental company. They were communicative from start to end. Transfers from and to airport were smooth without a lot of waiting. They were not trying to sell us additional insurance and we had one from external company. The car was Seat Ibiza in very good condition and it was almost new with only one little scratch when we rented it. It had system that was preventing car from going down the hill when starting as its very important on this island full of step hills. When we gave the car back it was in same condition and deposit of 1000EUR was released back to us the same day. We recommend this company and we would use it again if we visit Madeira again.

Nos recogieron en el Aeropuerto y nos llevaron a su base, el coche nos lo entregaron impecable, lo traía reservado de España y aquí decidi contratar el seguro sin franquicia y ha sido la mejor opción, no te retienen nada en la tarjeta y vas tranquilo por una Isla bastante estrecha. Volveré a contratar con ellos.

My rental experience with Cassiano s was amazing from start to finish! They pick you up from the airport and is only a 3 minute ride from the airport. We were able to skip the long lines of the rental services at the airport. The car was clean, spacious, and did exactly what we needed it to do...get us from point A to point B. The price was exceptional and was the best price we found! They made us feel welcomed and even gave us suggestions on living life as we transitioned to the island. I would definitely recommend their services as their hospitality and customer service was A+. If we need another rental, I would definitely be choosing them!!!

A fuir de toute urgence ! Nous sommes un couple de Français qui avons loué une voiture du 16 au 22 septembre via leur site internet. L entreprise de location de voiture nous demande une caution qu ils prélèvent directement sur notre compte bancaire, alors que normalement c est juste une empreinte bancaire. De plus le loueur refuse les cartes mentionnant le mot « débit » alors qu il s agit uniquement d une empreinte bancaire. Donc déjà nous trouvons cela surprenant mais le monsieur à l accueil nous assure que lorsque que nous ramènerions la voiture en fin de semaine il nous redonnera la caution. Nous rendons la voiture le vendredi et nous demandons au monsieur dans combien de temps nous allons recevoir la caution car nous avons bien était débiter sur notre compte bancaire. Le monsieur nous répond que d ici une semaine nous recevrons notre argent sur notre compte bancaire, cela fait deux semaines que nous n avons rien. Nous décidons de relancer l agence de location de voiture, un monsieur nous répond qu il s agit d une empreinte bancaire et qu il ne nous redonnera pas l argent. Alors que non il n a jamais fait d empreinte bancaire et nous avons bien été débiter de 2000 . De plus nous avons donné 90 pour le plein de la voiture et nous n avons pas tout utilisé et n avons pas réclamer à être remboursé !

Not sure how I feel about Cassianos. Elements of previous reviews. Car was fine, although had quite a bit of superficial damage on pickup. Staff were courteous. I had my own full insurance cover, and on return the inspection took a full 10mins as they examined every single scratch on an already scratched car. In the end, no additional charges, but it did give the impression that the company may be maximising its margins by looking for any claimable costs.

Car is good but charges are way higher than they tell initially. Car itself costs 120 but then on site they request physical debit card to lock 1300!! (other car rentals do 200-300 and no need of physical card at all). If you don t have physical card they up sell for insurance. Right after that they charge 90 for fuel and it s mandatory, they don t care how much you use. So I came up with 190 extra. By the way card should be on driver s name. If it s your wife s 5 per day extra for 2nd driver. And there is chance admin forgets you paid deposit while making booking and charges more.

Picking up the car took us 50 minutes, even though we were the only customer. Returning took even longer. We almost lost our flight. They tried to add unjustified charges. Make sure to doublecheck what you sign when returning the car. After asking for which reason they said that the mat was dirty. Seems that the owner tries to generate additional money in this way.

Auto (Hyundai) vrijwel nieuw en proper, maar heeft bij een snelheid van 60 of 70 km/u de neiging om te freewheelen - soms bangelijk. I tried to rent a car with Cassionos Rent a Car via an aggregator with full insurance prebooked. However, firstly we were not met and greeted at the airport and had to call to arrange a mini bus to take us to the office. When we came to collect the car, the staff tried their best to sell additional insurance which effectively doubled the cost of rental. When I stated that I already had necessary insurance they refused to accept my credit card saying that my bank was not supported by their system for booking a deposit and having their insurance was the only way to get a car. Eventually we were forced to take a taxi and then rent a car elsewhere. Interestingly, Cassianos staff refused to show their terms and conditions which apparently stated that our particular bank was not supported. I saw other customers being hard pressed into buying this extra insurance at a cost 25-30 euros a day using various dirty tactics. I think the best way to rent a car at Cassianos is to book via an aggregator and then buy this extra insurance, but it may increase the total cost substantially.

They were very unprofessional - made many mistakes, changed their conditions from sentence to sentence, we were forced to pay 90 eur for a entire tank even tho we didn t use it all, they forced their insurance on us the whole time we had a feeling they were just trying to scam us for extra money. horrible experience. Alugámos uma viatura através da discovercars e correu tudo como esperado, à excepção do facto de ser necessário um cartão de crédito para a caução,que não nos foi informado. Tivémos de fazer um novo seguro, mesmo depois de termos feito um seguro na reserva. O pessoal foi todo 5*,tanto na chegada como na partida. De uma simpatia extrema. Sem dúvida que iremos recorrer a cassianos numa próxima estadia.

Overall renting with Cassianos was a good experience for us. The car was very cheap and perfectly adequate. It managed all around some of the steep roads in Madeira and seemed well maintained. It was a basic car but it did the job. Opt for something more powerful than the Fiat Panda if you arent a confident driver especially when it comes to gears on hills but we managed and the extra road clearance the Panda has was beneficial. When we returned the car they checked it over and determined there was no damage and it was full of fuel. There is a petrol station at the bottom of the hill so no reason not to return it completely full. This meant we got our full deposit back onto my credit card practically immediately and the transfer to the airport after dropping the car off was quick and smooth. Downsides, they were 35 minutes late collecting us from the airport and we had to phone in order to get them to come for us. This is the main reason they dropped a star on this review. Then once at their office it took a very long time for them to take all our details and deposits etc... We had third party insurance and there was a small attempt to upsell their own insurance but they werent pushy. They do only take Credit Cards for the deposit - as many other people have said. This is not a scam. Its simply how they do business and it was clear in our booking that it needed to be a credit card not a debit card. So Im unsure why people are so upset over this - it was clear. Like all rental car places with Cassianos you just have to read the T&Cs, dont damage the car, take plenty of photos on pick up to prove existing damage and reject the upselling. Ive found this to be standard whenever I rent all over the world and Cassianos was no worse than any other. Its very common to require a credit card with car rental. In this case it also has to be in the drivers own name. Admittedly their deposit of 1000 or so is high but it is what it is and this was clear. Overall, they were friendly and it all went smoothly so I have no issues and would rent from them again. In summary, make sure you have a CREDIT card, in the drivers name, not a debit card, take photos of the car on collection, be confident in your own insurance if you dont need theirs just say no and bring the car back completely full of fuel if you dont want to pay their 90 for this - petrol station at the bottom of the road for last minute filling of the tank. Finally, if you do damage the car at all expect to pay for this - they do check it over fully including alloys etc... I would expect small scratches to be charged some amount. Renting all over the world this has always been the same for me.

Discusting car rental company. Everything was fine untill we were home. Suddenly the car had extra damage. We did check the car before we left. There was no damage. In the plastic bumper was a damage you can easy push in or out. They charged us 325 for this. They can push in make picture, count 325 euros and push it out as easy. After calling them, they dont go for a solution. They say they have everything on camera butt will not show you evidance. FRAUD COMPANY, DONT GO THERE!!!!!!! Booked via discover cars

Agence de location très bien située à moins de 5 min de laéroport grâce à leur navette. Le véhicule loué (hyundai i20) était quasi neuf et très propre. A savoir : il faut avoir une carte de crédit (et non de débit comme beaucoup de CB françaises) pour lempreinte bancaire, et ainsi éviter ce qui peut ressembler à une arnaque ou chantage à la souscription dune assurance supplémentaire. ATTENTION lors de la prise en charge à bien prendre des photos de toutes les parties de la voiture et signaler la moindre trace, griffe, impact...etc car ils sont très pointilleux lors du retour !!! Si vous faites létat des lieux de nuit, je conseille de demander à rentrer la voiture dans leur local éclairé pour avoir les lumières suffisantes (nous avions un véhicule noir et les prises de photos avec le flash ne permettent pas de bien voir tous les défauts après coup. Les tarifs sont très intéressants (a peine 25 pour 1 jour ½) et leur navette vous dépose rapidement à laéroport en moins de 5 min donc je recommande.

An insurance scam and not a professional service. They will not accept your credit card if its not a credit one and will force you to take an insurance on site. The Price of the insurance is as expensive as the car rental itself. We arrived on 14/10 BUT they rented us a car without a VALID insurance. We were controled by the police and the insurance was no longer valid. Also they also failed to put the of the second driver we paid for on the rental contract. After several call, they send us insurance documents and revised contract.

Great experience. The staff picked me up at the airport and throughly answered any questions I had on the insurance I added (I originally booked with CarJet but learned it s just cheaper to book directly). They walked me through the basics of the car (any scratches from previous trips, the gas release lever, etc). Just basic things got me very comfortable with the car quickly. They inspected the car with me at the end and drove me back quickly to the airport. Great service and I would highly recommend. Next time I come to Madeira I will book with them again. Thank you!!

Efficient pick up at the airport, speedy check-in (as Id hired direct and done everything in their website online..) Easy drop off.. Give yourself a hour from airport to road and 40 mins return to drop at the airport. Good honest company Will use them again!

Muy buena experiencia!. Nos atendió Miguel, una persona muy encantadora y amable. Nos puso todos los trámites muy fáciles y nos explicó con detalle todo lo que necesitábamos saber en español. Además, un servicio muy rápido ya que nada más llegar al aeropuerto nos recogieron para llevarnos a sus instalaciones donde recogimos el coche rápidamente. Miguel was amazingly helpful. After some confusion with pick up from the airport I realised I forgot my credit card. Miguel was able to help me with using my debit card and removing some of the fees. A great helpful member of staff! Was lucky to have him!

The rental included detailed instructions on how to find the transfer at the airport - you need to call the driver and they picked us up 5 minutes later. The staff were very kind and polite. The pick up took some time but our agent was extremely nice and provided recommendations on local attractions and restaurants. The only issue was that we got a sedan instead of an SUV that we booked. The car model was important to us due to one of the passengers having motion sickness and its much worse in a sedan. The car was in great condition otherwise. The drop off went very quickly. All paperwork was immediately emailed to us. Overall, a very smooth experience.

Utilizamos este rent a car em dezembro de 2023 com reserva inline. Empresa relativamente pequena e talvez por isso consegue fazer bons preços. Recolhem com uma carrinha os turistas no terminal das saídas do aeroporto do Funchal e transportam nos para as suas instalações, contornando a lista, que se localizam na zona norte do aeroporto. Pessoal jovem e afável.

Excellent company, picked up quickly from the airport by the smiling friendly Mariana who took us to the office in a comfortable and spacious VW transporter. She and her colleague were great, easy hire process, and gave us a whole load of useful tips on places to go etc. which was ace. Clean Fiat estate car as promised, no problems there. Thank you Mariana, you and the team were great. Recommended.

Good value for money and friendly staff. Got an new car without any dents or scratches. Pick up takes a while because you need to give them a call and wait their shuttle van but drop off was very quick. The office is only 5 mins drive from the airport. Would definitely use them again.

Loved Madeira. Will be back. Hated renting from Cassianos. Never again. I got blindsided by the good reviews and looking back now I highly question how legitimate are they. 1) Definitely get a taxi if you value your time for pickup and drop off. We waited over 30 minutes for pickup. Called 3 times and everytime its: 5 more minutes. And people returning the cars were getting pissed cause shuttle is taking way too long but the worst part is they keep misguiding by saying that its a few more minutes. 2) Billing Discrepancies: Got flat tire and called the tow service recommended by Cassianos. Directly compensating the service 108, I later discovered Cassianos attempted an additional charge of 320 for the identical service, raising questions about transparent billing practices. 3) Over a three-week span, Cassianos provided assurances on multiple occasions regarding the provision of essential rental and towing documentation. Regrettably, these promises remained unfulfilled, leaving me without the necessary paperwork despite persistent follow-ups. 4) Return Inspection Protocol: Cassianos approach to vehicle return assessments appeared inconsistent. Initial walkthroughs often dismissed minor damages, only for meticulous inspections upon return to highlight minute imperfections. Honestly not worth it. Next time I will rent from reputable company.

Quick pick-up, after we called the number provided in the booking, we got a really nice car. No problems with the return, although the parking lot is quite small. Soraia provided excellent service both during check-in and check-out.

Unprofessional and unorganised. Poor equipment which they are charging a high price for. Car seat was not installed properly and didn t have the correct base to make it safe. Tried charging for marks which were already on the car, which they had not correctly noted down on the sheet, luckily I had a photo.

All in all, it was a very good experience with Cassianos. Uncomplicated pick up and drop off procedure. The car was almost brand new. Miguel was very friendly and professional. I would definitely book here again.

Insurance. If you take external insurance, be prepared that they inspect every tiny scratch and will almost certainly find something. I guess the price they give for rental itself is below being profitable, so they need to squeeze extra money from you. Either you buy their insurance, or you pay for invisible scratches(or your external insurance, but then you earn a headache). We opted to take their insurance. Vehicles. We received Volkswagen C1, plates BC94ZX. This car is definitely not for Madeira 95hp, 1250weight(+ there were 4 of us). It has difficulties with climbing up on some steep roads. Transmission is heavily battered. Probably because drivers abuse it when starting on slopes from hand break to compensate for the lack of engine power.
