Rental via sunny cars all-inclusive insurance. Easy support. Arriving in the evening I had to take photos of the car. Easy return. Quick bail release.
Picking up and dropping off the vehicle worked very quickly and without any problems. Even changing the vehicle due to a slight defect went smoothly. The employees were very nice and helpful. The condition of the vehicles was OK. All previous damage was properly recorded.
I am stranded at the airport without a form of transportation. My flight was delayed by 20 min and even though I called and arranged the details weeks ago they still closed leaving me without a way to get a hold of them. They knew I was arriving late and I had advised them of my flight details and that it was possible for me to be delayed. Absolutely unacceptable! There were at least three other rental car companies still open. Will never book through this company.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car (also called Guerin) provided flawless service from start to finish. They may be 20% more expensive than competitors, but the good service is worth it. Easy to pick up and easy to leave. Nobody made a fuss. Everyone spoke the English language very well.
Great experience signing-in at the terminal and collecting the car from Julio Nunez at the lot. I was served promptly and given an explanation about the car. After driving to my hotel i returned the car the next day as it was a bit too big for me, the team were helpful and gave me a replacement I was extremely happy with - new car, cameras and keyless entry (not that the previous car was old at all). Again, very quick and polite and helpful service. On returning the car there were no issues and my deposit was released. I’d use enterprise/geurin again in Madeira.
Fast service, online check-in possible before arriving. The car received had already been through a lot of bodywork, but was in perfect technical condition. The before/after checks are honest, no worries, despite the fact that we had not taken out their insurance without deductibles.
Bad customer service when collecting the car and poorly managed operation. A staff member (I believe he was the manager) was rude to us and other customers, he appeared very stressed. When I politely asked his name he refused to tell me it and shouted at me "why you need my name"I asked his colleague his name who told me it was Duarte (don't know if that's correct). He later apologized for shouting at us and said that everyone needed help at the same time, it was quite evident he could not manage under pressure and handle a busy operation.
