Llegamos al aeropuerto sobre las 18:30. Una hora esperando en el aeropuerto y nadie nos recoge, llamamos y nadie nos coge el teléfono. Finalmente a las 19:30, un transfer de otro rent a car nos trae a la oficina y llegamos a las 19:35, pero también está cerrado, cuando pone que cierra a las 20:00. Nos hemos quedado sin coche y teniendo que alquiler otro en otro Rent a car cercano. Jamás había tenido una experiencia así en los años que llevo viajando. No se lo recomiendo a nadie

Nach unserer Ankunft auf Madeira wollten wir unseren bereits gebuchten und bezahlten Mietwagen abholen. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren nicht nur unfreundlich, sondern weigerten sich zudem eine andere Kreditkarte, als die des Hauptfahrers, anzunehmen (die Kreditkarte sollte lediglich für die Kaution hinterlegt werden). Auf jegliche Vorschläge unsererseits wurde abweisend reagiert. Es konnte mit zwei verschiedenen Kreditkarten keine Lösung gefunden werden und die Herausgabe des Autos wurde uns verweigert. Den bereits bezahlten Mietwagen bekamen wir nicht und eine Umbuchung wurde ebenfalls abgelehnt. Wir mussten aufgrund der Umstände eine neue Buchung bei einem anderen Anbieter vornehmen. After our arrival in Madeira, we wanted to pick up our car, which we had already booked and paid for. The employees of this company were unfriendly, but also refused to accept any credit card, which is that of the main driver (the credit card was only supposed to be used for the deposit). We responded negatively to any suggestions we made. No solution could be found with two different credit cards. We didnt get the rental car we had already paid for and a rebooking was also rejected. We had to make a new booking with another company.

Guter Service vom Airport zur Autovermietung und wieder zurück. Unkomplizierte Fahrzeugübergabe und sehr reinliches und top funktionsfähiges Fahrzeug bekommen. Würden es wieder dort mieten. Madeiras Wanderparkplätze sind oft abseits gelegen und die Bergstraßen sind eng, deswegen ist ein kleines Fahrzeug empfehlenswert.

La pire expérience de ma vie pour une location de voiture. Service mauvais, personnel pas sympathique, voiture de mauvaise qualité avec beaucoup de kilométrage. Et pour couronner le tout, le prix payé était 200 plus cher que prévu. Dommage pour l expérience, ça ne donne pas envie de revenir à Madère.

Adequado para família

Après avoir attendu durant 1h30 à notre arrivée à laéroport pour la navette, seuls lun de nous deux a pu monter dans la navette par manque de place pour tous. Lautre est donc resté à laéroport 1h de plus. Celui qui a été réaliser les démarches et récupérer la voiture a attendu un certain temps. Lentreprise na ensuite pas accepté sa carte (qui a déjà fonctionné pour dautres entreprises de locations), lobligeant à prendre lassurance en plus (double du prix). Ceci dit, au retour, nous avons très peu attendu et la voiture a bien fonctionné toute la semaine (malgré les dénivelés de Madère).

Reservei carro com a International Car - Madeira, e correu tudo super bem! Tinha reservado um carro inferior, mas quando eles viram que éramos 4 pessoas, deram-nos um carro melhor e mais espaçoso. Sem problemas com franquias, cauções, nem débitos indevidos, correu muito bem e os funcionários eram super prestáveis. Obrigada!

À éviter absolument ! Une horreur ! Personne mal aimable. Il fallait rajouter 190 euros parce que lhoraire était dépassé pour récupérer le véhicule était dépassé. Alors que nous ny étions pour rien. Ensuite rajouter à nouveau 40 euros pour le départ. Nous devions laisser une caution, quen auraient-ils fait ? Nous avons dû retourner à laéroport à pied où nous avons pris une vraie compagnie de location de voiture. Fuyez ces escrocs.

Do not rent from here. They will charge you for damages that you did not do because they think insurance will reimburse you. Total scam and insurance fraud. Pictures don t help because they will charge for minor scratches on the tires. The worst I have ever experienced.

Surprice madeira est une arnaque manifeste tout comme international car, cest la même agence : vous réservez un véhicule en ligne par exemple sur carjet. On vous affiche le meilleur prix. Vous prenez même la garantie sans franchise platinium pour partir tranquille 1) carjet vous fait croire que lagence est dans laéroport alors quil faut une heure de trajet et dattente pour récupérer la voiture en dehors de laéroport. 2) pour retirer la voiture le loueur surprice a exigé le paiement de 274 dun package additionnel pour libérer notre véhicule sinon il me laissait dehors sans voiture avec mes enfants. Le paiement est demandé au bénéfice dinternational cars, comme cela ni vu ni connu, il ny a pas de trace avec surprice, pourtant le loueur au contrat. 3) sur place le personnel, visiblement rompu à lexercice de fraude, se permet même de dire que lassurance carjet ne sert à rien et au final votre location pré-payée de 500 dans laérogare devient 740 euros avec 1h pour récupérer la navette. Il sagit clairement dune escroquerie. Les clients espagnols juste avant nous ont du payer eux aussi le même package. Cest une pratique illégale. Devant la gravité des faits jai décidé de déposer plainte pour pratiques commerciales trompeuses et frauduleuses.

The car was fine, but the guys in the office were definitely trying it on. Make sure you photograph everything, scratches and fuel level. When picking up the car, they tried to make me pay a second time. But I had proof of payment. Also they didnt record the fuel level when the car was picked up. Then tried to argue that it wasnt filled fully up upon return. Its a good job I took a photo of the level on pickup.

Terrible place. Avoid at all costs. Check the contract before giving any card details. Enormous list of damages that you will be charged for. Clutch kits, shock absorbers ,lighting bulbs. Things you wouldnt even think of. My rental broke down on my second trip from hotel to the beach. Couch gave up on a motorway. Spent 2 hours in car waiting for recovery and taxi. After I was not offered replacement car. Silly excuses, or pure ignorance. Please be careful getting rentals through brokers. Make sure its not Surprise or International car rentals. Do your homework before . And again AVOID SURPRISE CAR RENTALS

Pésimo el trato recibido al recoger el coche de alquiler. Después de esperar más de 30 minutos en el aeropuerto a que nos llevaran a la casa de alquiler a la que llegamos a las 19:52 horas, hacemos el trámite administrativo necesario y siendo las 20:03 nos cobraron 40 euros porque decía que cerraban a las 20. Es decir, por algo que no fue culpa nuestra nos cobran 40 euros y la solución era o pagas o no te damos el coche. Pésimo el trato y borde el trabajador que nos atendió, deja mucho que desear la casa de alquiler. Para nada recomendable. Lo mismo le pasó a dos clientes más que estaban detrás nuestra.

Une des pires compagnies de location que j ai pu expérimenter !!!! 1h de retard pour venir nous chercher à l aéroport. La vendeuse a annulé notre réservation devant nous sans nous demander notre accord. Conséquence : plus de véhicule pour 10j de location. HONTEUX ! A ÉVITER !!!!! Druhá nep íjemná zku enost byla, kdy p i p ebírání auto jsem zjistil, e mohu pou ít pouze kreditní kartu, debitni kartu neberou... kv li tomuto problému jsem si p iplatit o 150 euro víc oproti p edchozí rezervaci !! Zaplatil jsem ve výsledku 56 eur/per day za dacii. Dra í autop j ovnu jsem v ivot je t nevid l. V den odjezdu jsem m l v z vrátit v 11:00 ale po p íjezdu zde nikdo nebyl, ekal jsem 20 minut nez prijel nekdo pro vyzvednuti auta. Jednu hv zdu pridavan pouze za milého pána, který nás odvezl na leti t .

Nie wieder International Car! Bei der Abholung wurde uns 2460 Kaution abgezogen und nicht ausschließlich blockiert ! Erst nach mehreren Mails haben wir das Geld zurückerhalten. Wir haben extra dafür bezahlt, dass, jemand früher vor Ort ist da unser Flug bereits um 08:00 Uhr ging. Niemand war vor Ort, weshalb wir zum Flughafen laufen mussten ! Aufgrund der ganzen Hektik und des Chaos hätten wir beinahe unseren Flug verpasst ! Nach jeglicher Kontaktaufnahme kein Rückruf oder Rückmeldung ! Definitiv nicht empfehlenswert !

Nada recomendable, al entregar el coche la llanta tenía un arañazo que no habíamos visto al recogerlo. Como no habíamos hecho fotos en la recogida no pudimos demostrar que no lo habíamos hecho nosotros, así que nos hicieron pagar 253,10 euros. Miren el coche de arriba a abajo, son unos piratas

Chegamos a Madeira às 20h, tal como tínhamos avisado a empresa, ao chegar foi nos informada de uma taxa extra que não tinha sido avisada previamente. Disponibilizamo nos a pagar com a condição que faríamos uma reclamação mas o veículo foi nos negado na hora. Não recomendo que façam reservas por esta empresa.

Arrivati allaeroporto per il trasferimento allautonoleggio con quasi unora di ritardo. Richiesta una cauzione esagerata. Auto ok con qualche magheggio sul livello carburante. Alla consegna ci è stato contestato un segnetto sulla battuta della portiera passeggeri aperta , che a portiera chiusa alla consegna non si vedeva e che non abbiamo assolutamente fatto noi. 280 di danno. Al rientro abbiamo dovuto attivarci per il risarcimento dellassicurazione Kasco fatta alla prenotazione. Vediamo come va a finire...

To clarify, this company is the same one as Surprise Car Rentals in Madeira. So if you rent here, you actually rent a car with Surprise Car Rentals, so first read the reviews there. We rented a Fiat 500 Cabrio for one week in June. First the instructions were not clear about the pickup at all. No information was provided about it by the company. As we arrived at the airport, no-one was waiting for us (agents from other rental companies were waiting for their clients with name plates). I tried to call the company, but it is impossible to reach them by phone. After waiting for 15 min we finally saw their pick up shuttle van and ran towards it. The employees arent really motivated or friendly. The office is just a container near the airport. The car we got was technically in a good condition, but a bit dirty and had no windscreen wiper fluid, so we also couldnt wash the windscreen which reflected heavily. Also there was no gas (the fill level was at its lowest with the lamp blinking), so we immediately had to search for a gas station. They charged a Via Verde for Madeira, but there is no toll for the roads and highways on Madeira and the usage of roads is free, so this is a false charge. Also they forgot about the prepayment I made for the booking and didnt subtract that from the total price. However, when dropping off the car, the refunded the via verde as well as the prepayment. I advise to book a full insurance, so you wont have to deal with any damages. But overall the company isnt very professional and I would rather pay a bit more next time, but rent a car with a professional and reliable rental company.

¡Nada recomendable! No están atentos a recoger en el aeropuerto. No mandan ningun mensaje de confirnación, tuvimos que reclamar la reserva. Personal muy poco profesional. Y además nos cobraron dos veces un pago que habíamos hecho de prereserva. Solo después de reclamarlo lo devolvieron... No existe en esa localización la empresa. Hay mejores empresas.

Hicimos una reserva con International Car y nos encontramos que es la misma empresa de SurpriceCar, con peores opiniones. No atienden correo electrónico. No la recomiendo.

Ich hatte direkt bei InternationalCar ein Auto reserviert. Die Vermietung (außerhalb des Flughafens, Shuttleservice) schließt um 20 Uhr, aber obwohl wegen Verspätung des Fliegerers nach 20 Uhr, ließ sich der Wagen noch abholen, jedoch gegen 35Eur extra. Der Wagen, den ich hatte, war 3 Jahre alt und in mittelmäßigen Zustand und Qualität (hinten nur Trommelbremse, was auf Madeira nix taugt). Die Zentralverriegelung tat nur sporadisch, die Sitze waren fleckig, die Fußmatte durchgescheuert. Insgesamt noch in Ordnung. InternationalCar, Surprice Car Rental sind ein und derselbe Vermieter hier am Flughafen Madeira.

We could not reach the company via the phone number that was given by the company. After we visited the place to get in touch, we received a local phone number, but agreements made over the phone were not followed up. Therefore we could not return the car at 0800 in the morning (their opening times state 0800 hours everyday) and almost missed our flight. On top of that they charged us more on our creditcard then agreed without sending a specification. They still owe us money and are currently not responding to emails anymore. I sincerely recommend to go with a different company.
