Amazing service from Carolina, Idalina and Petra. I had a card issue when paying and they didnt hesitate to take the time to help me find a solution. Flexible, friendly, I recommend!

The price was competative, the vehicle was excellent and the return was painless. The pick up however was painfull! OK uses a shuttle to pick custpomers up at the airport and transfer them to an off-site office. Our pre-booked shuttle was late (very late) and only responded after we phoned. The shuttle driver was super friendly and chatty but there was more people than the shuttle could handle so this necessitated two trips. The vehicle collection was a nightmare. When the shuttle returned with the second batch of customers, the first of 5 vehicles to be handed over had not yet been concluded. About 10 people queued outside a container office and waited patiently (later impatiently) for their turn. When asked why the excessive delay, I was told that we are only human. Things speeded up only slightly when the shuttle driver assisted with vehicle allocation. From the time we stepped on to the airport pavement at the shuttle pick up spot to the time we drove out of OK´s lot, was ± one hour. The return took less than 10 minutes. It was friendly and efficient.

Jai réservé une voiture pour mes vacances dune semaine. Le prix était très abordable. Jai pris une assurance ailleurs, au moment de ma réservation en ligne via un intermédiaire. Le service est très bien, les agentes sont amicales, et nous donnent des infos sur Madère lors de notre transfert de laéroport à lagence. Jai pris un SUV, et je le recommande si vous allez faire des randonnées, certains parkings sont en mauvais états. La voiture était en très bon état et propre.

Foi-nos entregue um carro cheio de pancadas e barulhos fora do normal, quando existiam inúmeras hipóteses no estacionamento de acordo com a categoria que escolhemos. Como decidimos não pagar o seguro contra todos os riscos (que não nos seria devolvido), foi-nos exigido o pagamento de 1400 de franquia mais 250 de caução do depósito de gasolina. Ambos devolvidos. No entanto, não gostámos nada do serviço.

Péssima experiência!!! Precisei de alterar uma coisa na minha reserva e por pura má vontade, eles fizeram-me perder o dinheiro. Em qualquer serviço ao cliente, é importante tentar arranjar soluções quando estes erros ocorrem. Senti-me super mal atendida, inclusive desligaram-me o telefone na cara... Não recomendo a ninguém, se tiverem na dúvida não aluguem aqui pois se algo correr mal, eles não vos vão ajudar! Eu perdi o dinheiro e eles um ou mais clientes!!!

Booked via booking.com and took an insurance there. To my surprise, when we arrive to the rental office, the person delivering the car aggressively tried to sell me 320 euros insurance, claiming that the one from booking was useless. If you have read some of the other comments here you know that this is an attempt from the staff to get commission on extra insurances that cost much more than the car rental. After the employee gave up trying to sell us the extra insurance, then kept on saying that I will be liable for anything that happens with the car and tried to make me feel insecure about driving in Madeira (I was born and raised there). After she quit her little performance, she started taking pictures to all the hundreds of scratches the car had, which I did the same. I spent around 30 minutes to cover all of it with my phone. They blocked 1100 euros (deposit) + 250 euros (fuel) -> the tank is actually much less than this. Then, at last, came another weird request. The employee told that if I did not bring the invoice for filling the tank before delivery that they would charge me 250 euros. I have never heard of such thing, unless of course you have a side hassle and want to take thos expenses to your accountant for taxation purposes. But even though I thought that was weird I brought the invoice the day of the delivery. The person collecting the car was the absolute opposite of the delivery employee. She was fast, competent, said everything is fine and gave me a ride to the airport. When I asked if she needed the fuel invoice, she said no because she could see that tank was full. I dont know what kind of monkey business some of their representatives do there, its a pity. Stay away from this place and go to sixt

Attention arnaque. Nous aurions mieux fait de regarder les avis au préalable pour éviter la très mauvaise surprise de la carte de crédit / débit. En effet, rapidement, on nous demande dajouter une assurance à notre location (nous précisons que nous lavons déjà prise sur le site ) et bien que nous refusions, comme nous navons pas la dite carte de crédit, elle refuse de faire une empreinte bancaire et nous oblige à prendre lassurance 5 fois le prix de la location de la voiture!! Personnel pas très aimable. Malgré tout, le véhicule correspond aux attentes et le système de navette est bien respecté.

My worst car rental experience. Avoid if all possible. I rented car 50+ times for last 40 years traveling Europe. This company will try to upsale and nickel and dime you all worst way. Dont be lure by their cheap price...not worth it...If you do. Do a complete video of the car inside and outside before and after? Else you will be receive a surprise bill...

Pior serviço de sempre se alguém vir esta mensagem fique a saber que são ladroes de pessoas que pretendem viajar estar relaxadas. Desde já . Após ter reservado um serviço . Esperei 30 mim para que viesse um carro para no deslocar a empresa que se encontra 2 min de carro do aeroporto do Funchal. Paguei valor de 250 . Por ter falhado com uma regra . Entreguei o carro exactamente como me foi entregue. Não estando de acordo pagar 250 por fumar um cigarro no carro . Inademicivel. No total paguei 350 euros. Além do valor do aluguer do carro .

I rented a car for 7 days! Car was almost new with about 15.000kms, staff was kind and flexible with us. Recommended

We had a problem with our credit card because it is a combined debit and visa card which was not accepted by the company. A credit card is mandatory to rent a car to leave a deposit, so we had to walk back to the airport to rent another car because a cash deposit was also not accepted. The problem with the card was not their fault but the attitude of the employee was really unfriendly and it took us 3 hours to actually be able to get to our hotel. That was not a good start of our holiday.

Wir haben leider vor der Buchung die Rezensionen nicht gelesen. Uns ist das gleiche passiert wie einigen anderen. Die Abholung am Flughafen war schon eine richtige Katastrophe. Wir mussten den Fahrer erstmal lange suchen. Der Abhol-Platz war überhaupt gar nicht ausgeschildert. Der Fahrer war ungepflegt und lustlos. Er hat noch nicht einmal unsere Koffer in den Bus gehoben.(wir waren 3 Frauen) Dies haben dann andere (männliche) Passagiere freundlicherweise gemacht ! Bei der Abholstation wurden wir quasi gezwungen NOCH eine Versicherung für 168.- abzuschließen. Obwohl alles schon versichert ist. Wenn wir das nicht gemacht hätten, wären 2800.- auf der Kreditkarte blockiert worden. Kein Witz! Weiter wurden 100.- blockiert falls wir das Auto nicht vollgetankt zurück bringen!!! Wir haben so etwas noch nie erlebt!!! Beim abgeben des Autos gab es keine Probleme. Das Team war wirklich sehr freundlich auch der Fahrer. Haut es aber nicht mehr raus! Wir mieten dort kein Auto mehr!

When we re returning car we communicated with other customer that our card did not work as well so we had to pay full coverage. And this manager just started screaming and saying that we were liars and they would not provide any shuttle to airport. We were disgusted with her behavior. And it was awful last impression of Madeira.

**Warnung: Hände weg von OK Mobility auf Madeira besonders wegen des unfreundlichen Mitarbeiters Hugo!** Unsere Erfahrung mit OK Mobility auf Madeira war schlichtweg katastrophal. Besonders der Mitarbeiter Hugo hat jegliche Professionalität und Kundenfreundlichkeit vermissen lassen. Nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir gezwungen, fast **zwei Stunden** zu warten völlig unnötig, denn die Schlüssel wurden uns erst ausgehändigt und dann wieder entwendet, nur weil Hugo seinen Willen durchsetzen wollte. Diese Nötigung ist inakzeptabel, insbesondere wenn man mit kleinen Kindern (1 und 3 Jahre alt) unterwegs ist und auf ein zuverlässiges Fahrzeug angewiesen ist. Zu allem Überfluss entsprach das Auto, das wir schließlich bekamen, in keiner Weise den Sicherheitsstandards: **die Reifen waren in einem miserablen Zustand** und definitiv nicht verkehrssicher. Es ist eine Zumutung, Familien mit einem solchen Fahrzeug loszuschicken. Auch die Angaben auf der Website sind irreführend: Entgegen der Versprechungen wird man **nicht vom Flughafen abgeholt**, und der angebliche Service ist schlichtweg nicht existent. Diese Autovermietung verdient nicht einmal einen Stern. **Finger weg von OK Mobility auf Madeira** und erst recht von dem unverschämten Hugo!

Richtig gut - schnelle Abholung (alle Mietwagen Anbieter haben ihr Autos abseits des Flughafens, auch die, die ihr Counter selber am Flughafen haben), zusätzliche Versicherungen sind einfach abgelehnt, keine übermäßige Kontrolle bei Rückgabe, alle super freundlich. Der Hol- und Bringservice vom und zum Flughafen war schon klasse. Damit hat der Urlaub schon perfekt begonnen. Das Auto wurde rundum fotografiert und wir wurden ebenfalls aufgefodert Fotos zu machen, damit es bei der Rückgabe keine Unstimmigkeiten gibt. Die bereits vorhandenen Vorschäden wurden uns als erstes gezeigt. Das fand ich sehr positiv und gab mir ein sehr gutes Gefühl. Es war alles perfekt. Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich und sehr vertrauensvoll. Wenn wir wieder kommen, kommen wir wieder zu Ihnen. Die negativen Bewertungen können wir nicht teilen. Uns wurde keine Versicherung aufgezwungen. Wir hatten 1100 Euro Kaution über die Kreditkarte hinterlegen müssen, was völlig in Ordnung war. Wir hatten auch 250 Euro hinterlegen müssen, für den Fall, dass das Auto nicht vollgetankt zurückgebracht wird. Darüber waren wir zuerst überrascht, bei weiterer Überlegung fanden wir diese Handlungsweise in Ordnung. Denn, wer vollgetankt zurückbringt, bekommt das Konto nicht belastet. Sehr gute Handlungsweise von OK mobility um nicht dem Geld hinterherlaufen zu müssen und sämtliche Autos zum Tanken bringen muss. Das Geld war bereits am Folgetag wieder ausgebucht und Konto nicht belastet. Nur Achtung bei Debitkarten. Diese werden nicht als Kreditkarte akzeptiert. Hätten wir keine Kreditkarte gehabt, wäre es mit der Debitkarte plus 350 Euro auch gegangen. Wofür die 350 gewesen wären, weiß ich nicht. Vielleicht für die Versicherung? Das könnte sein.

Excellent customer service from airport pick-up to getting us on our way quickly with the car and drop-off and back to the airport! Petra was an absolute delight telling everyone from the airport about how to drive around the island, local customs or things to try and do and kept it very friendly and entertaining! Even when we dropped the car off at 0700hrs - I know Im not that much of a people person at that time in the morning! Well be back to Madeira next year - and based on customer service alone Ill come back to OK Mobility. Top work!

Die Sterne gibt es nur für die guten und sauberen Autos und teils hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Ansonsten haben wir über eine Stunde gebraucht bis wir unser Auto bekamen. Erst funktionierten keine Debitkarten oder man muss einen Aufpreis zahlen für die Versicherung obwohl wir schon eine vorher dazu gebucht hatten. So musste ich mich als 2. Fahrer anmelden damit meine Kreditkarte verwendet wird. Eine weitere Kreditkarte wurde nicht akzeptiert, da sie nur digital auf meinem Handy war, anstatt sie physisch dabei zu haben. Mit der 4. Kreditkarte ging es dann endlich. Also wenn man sich für die Autovermietung entscheidet unbedingt eine Kreditkarte physisch mitbringen die ein Limit über 1800 hat und keine Debit ist. Für den Tank wurde auch eine Summe in Höhe von 250 auf der Kreditkarte reserviert. Viel zu hoch, haben wir so auch noch nicht erlebt. Das ist das erste mal das wir solche Probleme hatten. Sonst hat es auch immer mit Debitkarten einwandfrei geklappt. Nächstes Mal werden wir besser recherchieren.

The rental experience at OK Mobility was excellent! Other than a rather long waiting time to be picked up at the airport, the service was very friendly and very efficient. There were 3 agents and virtually no wait. Claudia was especially friendly!

Genial! Pagamos 135 4 días, reservado por su web, cobertura premium. Al llegar, tuvimos que pagar los 28 por asistencia en carretera(7 xdia) y los 250 de fianza que devuelven sin problema, con tarjeta de débito física. (no entiendo aquellas personas que viajan sin la tarjeta física, o intentado con tarjetas que no están a su nombre). Tarjetas, DNI y carnet todo a nombre de la misma persona que conduce, y responsable, ES OBVIO. Todo tal cual intuíamos porque es lo que siempre ocurre cuando alquilas un coche, da igual la compañía. Hay que saber leer, entender y si no, ante cualquier duda, llamar antes de hacer la reserva. Los engaños que nombran aquí son por simplemente no informarse antes de pagar por un servicio. Te recogen y te llevan al aeropuerto sin problema. ¿Que hay que esperar? Obvio si hay mucho turista, ES NORMAL. Cuando se organiza un viaje, hay que ir con tiempo o sin prisas a ciertas cosas porque NO ERES EL ÚNICO en la isla/lugar. Nos entregan el coche sin problema, avisando absolutamente de todo, tanque lleno, qué roces/fallos tiene, y a qué debes hacer foto (en nuestro caso sólo interior que era lo que no cubría). Ellos mismos te dicen que hagas la foto para no tener líos. Cuando lo entregas, se revisa y listo. A nosotros nos atendió Petra. Espectacular y un 10 a esta chica. También nos recogió un chico joven y rubio, majiiiisimo!! Un 10 a los dos. Repetiremos con ellos. Es la segunda vez que uso la compañía, y confío!

Not recommended! Worst experience ever! First, I was shocked to discover that you charge almost double the price for the car if the customer does not have a credit card for the deposit. Debit cards were not accepted, which caused significant inconvenience. This policy was not made clear in advance, leaving me feeling misled. Additionally, the behavior of your staff, including the manager, was unacceptable. As we were leaving, the staff, including the manager, were shouting at us. This unprofessional and aggressive conduct is not something I have ever encountered before, and it left me with the worst memories of my trip to Madeira. A manager, in particular, should exemplify customer service skills, but instead, I experienced the opposite. I strongly urge you to review your customer service practices and payment policies to ensure they align with reasonable standards of professionalism and transparency. I am deeply disappointed and would not recommend your services to others based on this experience.

Pongo una estrella porque no puedo poner 0. Ojo cuidado con las horas de llegada y de salida. Porque si llegas antes de lo previsto te pueden tener esperando 1 hora a pesar de tener el coche listo y en el parking Para el depósito de la fianza mejor dejar una tarjeta de CRÉDITO. Nosotros llegamos pronto a la oficina, te esperan con una pequeña furgo a la salida del aeropuerto. Pero conforme iban llegando los clientes la cola se alargaba había solo 2 personas recepcionando a la gente y yendo a la terminal a buscar clientes. Con lo cual la espera para coger el coche seguía aumentando. Muy lentos porque hay poco personal. La señora que nos atendió me pareció muy borde. Considero que si estas de cara al público tienes que ser un poco mas agradable. Hay que guardar los tickets de rellenar el depósito de gasolina. El coche bien, aunque en las cuestas tampoco es que tirase excesivamente. Marchas cortas prácticamente por toda la isla, en muchas subidas en 2 apenas tiraba el coche Es la primera y la última que alquilo coche con esta compañía.

Eu já li aqui alguns comentários sobre SEGURO que ao fechar a locação do carro você add. Não tem nada explicando que não é seguro da Locadora, e quando fui informada que ainda tinha que pagar mais 111 seguro eu esperei a senhora terminar e questionei . Foi aí que ela disse que eu tinha que cancelar. Ok O que me parece que essa senhora já não está satisfeita com seu trabalho, porque ao entregar o carro 28/11 as 12:30 não tinha mais nenhum funcionário a atender e ela ainda achou ruim estarmos com pressa. E disse que podíamos ir embora de uber ! Deixasse lá a chave ! Que profissional é essa pessoa ? Carro, nem vou comentar porque não foi esse que eu aluguei e tinha no pátio o Juke .

The rental process went smoothly, had a nice and clean car for 8 days on a low pricr. The shuttle from the airport was quick and efficient. You can decline the optional insurance if you have a credit card. Make sure to take photos and videos of every bits of the car before leaving the agency to avoid inconvenience when restituted. Agency can be crowded when a few planes land ar the same time. Good experience overall.

La mia esperienza é stata perfetta, un ritiro molto rapido, la macchina era quasi nuova e in perfette condizioni. Piccola e abbastanza potente per portarmi ovunque a Madeira. Avevo un po di apprensione nel noleggio prima di arrivare sullisola, ma é stata unottima scelta. Lo staff molto gentile e paziente, hanno risposto a tutte le mie domande. Al momento della consegna tutto é filato liscio ugualmente. Tutto ottimo!

Estive mais de uma hora à espera de recolha no aeroporto, ninguém apareceu, (entrar em contacto com a linha telefónica é impossível), tive de recorrer a aluguer de taxi para me desolcar até ao ponto de entrega. Quando chegei o que foi dito foi è que estavam à espera de um clientes para levar ao aeroporto e que só então me trariam a mim.... tirem as vossas conclusões. Fui em trabalho, resultou na perda total de várias horas. Os seguros e cauções que pedem sao um verdadeiro absurdo, exorbitantes como nunca vi em qualquer outra companhia em qualquer parte do mundo. Acabei por não levantar a viatura pois esta companhia não inspirou o mínimo de segurança e profissionalismo. NÃO RECOMENDO ESTA COMPANHIA.

Total Scam Police called - Stay Away from OK Mobility Madeira! If youre thinking of renting a car with OK Mobility Madeira, stop right now. They scammed us out of 230. Our original flight was canceled, so we rebooked for the next day. This is very common in Madiera btw, approx 20% of flights get delayed/cancelled due to their short runway and windy island. I called the number listed on their official Google profile and was told by the person on the phone that I d have to pay 50 extra because we booked the Lite rate. A bit annoying, but fine she confirmed that the car would still be there when we arrived. The next afternoon: we arrive at the airport, get picked up and head to the rental office.Then things kicked off. I gave them my booking number, and straight away was told, You never called, and your car is gone. I couldn t believe it. I told them I DID call, and even showed them my phone logs to prove it. Guess what? They didn t care. Instead, they pulled out some random piece of paper with a secret number on it, claiming that s the number I should ve called. This number isn t listed anywhere not in the booking, not on their website, not even on the Google page I got the number from. This is their little strategy to shift the blame onto customers when things go wrong. From there, things escalated. The two employees insisted that the car was gone, and they had every right to keep my money. So, basically, we re out of a car and our payment. This is daylight robbery. It s like showing up to your Airbnb late and finding someone else staying there, but the owners still charge you. At this point, the blondie store clerk just gave up pretending to be professional. She kept disappearing into the back room to laugh her head off like a hyena. We said we d call the police, and she even lied to us, claiming we d have to pay for the police to come out. We said we didn t care call them anyway. The police arrived, and while they were understanding, they could only take a report and couldn t force the company to do anything. Then this guy in a grey t-shirt shows up, side-steps between us and the cops, and starts talking to the police in Portuguese with his hand covering his mouth. Turns out, he s the manager (I m convinced he s the owner of the other sketchy rental place across the street). He refused to contact OK Mobility s customer service who we had recieved assurances from and had zero interest in attempting to solve anything. From his perspective, if youre late he can keep your money and has no responsibility to honour the booking Meanwhile, the blonde girl came back and plastered a big fake smile ear to ear while giving the police her report. I called her out in front of them: Guess what? They don t charge you when you call the cops! She quickly walked away, smiling like a maniac to her vape pen and back office. Afterwards, I started to feel a little sorry for this girl. She is clearly highly stressed. Not sure how her boss has motivated her to screw over tourists so regularly (just read other reviews for this place). She must have confrontations like this every second day. I hope one day she realizes it s not worth living her life scamming tourists like this. The police were kind enough to give us a ride back to the airport. On the way there, one of the officers actually started telling the other two (in Portuguese but my wife understood everything) to watch out for girls like that because, in his words, they re the ones who sell themselves for money. We had a good laugh at that. Back at the airport, we shopped around and booked with Sixt, which went smoothly. As for OK Mobility, their lot was full of cars, but they wouldn t give us one, insisting we d have to book a new rental for 600 on top of what they d already stolen. Their game is to lure people in with low rates and then find any excuse to rip them off. Avoid OK Mobility Madeira at all costs. I managed to get my money back through travel insurance, but not before wasting three hours dealing with their BS. You ve been warned.

Hicimos la reserva casi un mes antes 124 , llegamos allí y nos cobran 40 por llegar tarde, 50 por activar la reserva que ya estaba pagada hace un mes, nos cobran también 250 por hacer el seguro,porque tienes que llevar tarjeta de crédito con 1300 para que te retengan y también te retiene 250 del depósito de la gasolina.

ESTAFADORES! NO RESERVAR! Esa es la mejor palabra para definirlos. Puedo explicar todo lo que nos pasó a mí y mi pareja. Pero ha sido la peor experiencia reservando un coche cuando he viajado así. 1. Nos cobraron 40 por llegar tarde del vuelo que cogimos. Es como decir que cuando reservas el hotel y llegas más tarde a hacer el check in te cobramos más. No tiene ni pies ni cabeza. 2. Por reactivar esta reserva al llegar tarde otros 50 más. Aquí ya si cojo al dueño de esto no se lo que le hubiera hecho. 3. No especifica el tipo de tarjeta para hacer el bloqueo. Ojo con esto, si no tienes TARJETA DE CRÉDITO con un límite superior a 1350 te obligan a contratar un seguro de 264 . No ha opción, ni solución ni nada. 4. Para el depósito de combustible otros 250 bloqueados en tu tarjeta de débito. Ojo! 250 euros para un depósito de un Volkswagen Polo. Te ves imponente a las 3 de la mañana sin opción de mandarlos a tomar por culo y coger otro coche. Las reclamaciones les dan igual, tenían la biblia de reclamaciones puestas. A esto añádele que el coche se reservó en España a través de Ryanair por 124 . Que también se pagaron junto a todo lo demás. IMPORTANTE!!!! NO HAGÁIS RESERVAS con esta empresa. Hay mejores opciones.

El coche bien, básico. El personal de la oficina de OK Mobility en Madeira, lamentable. Desde el día que llegamos, todo eran malas caras, muy bordes. El día que entregamos el coche para irnos, viene la chica de la oficina a decirnos que todo bien, pero que la puerta trasera está llena de crema solar (no habíamos usado crema solar en todo el viaje porque no hizo de playa), nos intentó engañar para quedarse con parte de la fianza que habíamos dejado en efectivo. La dijimos que imposible, salió al coche con un trapo y a los 10 segundos volvió y dijo ya está, ha salido, os devuelvo la fianza Me parece que estas actitudes del personal de la oficina, sobretodo de la chica morena que fue muy borde, nos han hecho no volver a alquilar nunca un coche con esta empresa, porque ha sido descarado como ha intentando engañarnos para quedarse la fianza. Seguro que con otros clientes que tengan prisa o no entiendan bien el idioma, ha colado. Una lástima.

Wenn man die Infos bezüglich Kreditkarte, Alter des Fahrers, Auto-Kaution (1100 EUR) und eine allerdings überzogene Sprit-Kaution (250 EUR) beachtet, läuft alles reibungslos. Hat man vorher auch noch eine Vollkasko Versicherung abgeschlossen, kann einem nichts mehr passieren - egal, was die nette Dame am Schalter noch so erzählt und dir verkaufen möchte. Das ist aber bei den meisten Vermietern so. Man muss sich halt etwas vorbereiten, wenn man hier nicht mit zusätzlichen Kosten rausgehen will. Sehr gute Einweisung, technisch einwandfreies Auto. Unkomplizierte Rückgabe. Guter Shuttleservice.

Nu aveam unde sa mai sunam ca era inchis. Dimineata la prima ora am fost la ei. Ni s-a spus ca masina a fost data fiindca ei nu o tin decat 6 ore si daca nu am sunat, nu ne-am interesat in cele 6 ore, noi suntem de vina si pierdem si masina si banii, iar ca sa facem un nou contract ne mai costa 50 euro redeschidere contract + o masina upgrade cu inca vreo 200 euro in plus. Ne spuneti si noua: cine ne-ar fi raspuns la telefon sau unde ar fi trebuit sa mergem intre ora 22 si 8 dimineata??? Masina trebuie retinuta 6 ore cum spun ei, dar acele 6 ore sunt ore lucratoare, nu in miez de noapte!!!! Nu recomand aceasta firma!!! Mari escroci! Am mers la vecinii lor si am inchiriat alta masina. Au fost super draguti. Chiar si-au dat ochii peste cap doar cand am pronuntat OK mobility, fara sa le spunem povestea.

I recently rented a car from OK Mobility Funchal through JetCar, attracted by their competitive pricing. I opted for the Platinum insurance package with JetCar, believing it would cover any excess or deposit. However, upon arrival, I was required to place a 1,100 deposit for the car and an additional 250 for fuel. On top of that, they attempted to sell me extra insurance, which cost more than the weekly rental itself. Naturally, I declined, but they continued to insist, warning me about potential high costs in case of an accident. Thankfully, I made a video while inspecting the car, during which the young employee (who, it s worth noting, was quite helpful and professional) mentioned that any damages smaller than 3 cm would not be considered, as I had pointed out all the minor dings on the car. Fortunately, his statement was captured in the video. Upon returning the car a week later, the inspection was done by the manager or agency head, who found a small dent under 3 cm and began to discuss potential charges. I immediately mentioned the video, which clearly stated that damages under 3 cm were not an issue. Her demeanor shifted, and she eventually let it go perhaps speaking Portuguese helped resolve the situation smoothly. In the end, everything worked out, but I was left with a mixed feeling about the experience. It genuinely seemed like their priority was extracting more money from customers, which, after reading other reviews, appears to be a recurring theme. The reserved deposit on my credit card was refunded without any issues, but it wasn t immediate; the amount arrived 24 hours later.

Very slow and poor service. We had booked and paid for a car with manual gear. Due to bad weather our plane was redirected to Tenerife, and when we arrived the day after, the car we booked was not available. We were offered another car with automatic gears for twice the price of the prepaid car. Waiting time is unsatisfactory as well. We have waited for 1 1/2 hours and still no car. We recommend that you rent another place.

Desde el primer momento nos trataron estupendamente. Tuvimos la suerte que nos tocó Petra, una trabajadora que se desenvolvía perfectamente con el español. Además, nos recomendó varios sitios privilegiados para poder disfrutar más aún de la isla ya que íbamos a estar durante 7 días. En todo momento nos explicó las condiciones facilitándonos y solventándonos cualquier problema. Super importante, seguro y coger un coche 4x4, debido a las carreteras y la conducción de los madeirenses. Si sois españoles/as, sin ninguna duda, os recomendamos preguntar por ella. ¡Gracias Petra!

Not so great. They tried to extract the maximum amount of money from me. If you dont got a credit card (which we do not have in France, only Mastercard and debit cards), they will make you pay for an insurance that is more expensive than the car itself, so dont fall for their low prices. They say they cant do a deposit with a debit card thats why I have to pay for insurance, and one minute later they do it for the fuel. Absolute scammers. One hour late ? They will make you pay for crazy amounts, more than the whole price of the rental... Avoid them

Everything was perfect from the pickup to the drop off. The ladies who work there (especially Idalina) are so lovely. Don t pay attention to the negative reviews.. they re usually people who were unprepared or didn t read the contract. I d recommend the smallest possible car as well, Madeira streets are extremely narrow!

Aunque no esta en el.mismo aeropuerto una furgoneta te lleva en 5 minutos, el proceso de entrega es rapido y el coche esta muy limpio. Te dan el deposito lleno. Llevamos el alquiler con rentalcars con seguro a todo risgo contratado, nos ofrecieron ellos el seguro, pero al decirles que ya teniamos no insistieron. En Madeira hay que alquilar un coche con potencia si no te quedas en las cuestas. El nuestro un Nissan Juke va bien de motor. La fianza 1400 . Ningun problema en la devolucion.

The price is fair. Pick-up and drop off location is not at the airport. Shuttle to the rental was fine. Shuttle back was slow as they only have 2-3 staff working. It made for a very tight window to get to my flight. The one car they gave me had no tread left on the front tires. I asked for a tread measurement and to change to another car before leaving the lot. They told me no, take it or leave it. There were at least 10-15 other cars they could have offered me instead with way better tread. Not a good customer service move. I didnt have any issues with the car during my time. It would have been nice to offer me another vehicle though, considering there were other cars on the lot.

Mala experiencia con esta empresa. Al recogernos en el aeropuerto sólo me pude montar yo en el Transfer porque iba lleno. En teoría a mí familia la recogerían en cinco minutos, lo que fue casi tres cuartos de hora. Nos obligaron a hacer un seguro de 259 por no tener tarjeta de crédito, cuando en las condiciones de mi alquiler especifica que se podía pagar con tarjeta de débito, además de tener contratado yo un seguro de cobertura total aparte. Llegué sobre las 9:30 a la casa de alquiler y salí de allí con el coche a las 12:15. Media mañana perdida para recoger un coche. De lo poco a favor, es que el coche estaba bien, limpio, con algunos desperfectos en la chapa que la propia empresa me señaló y la devolución del coche fue rápida y el traslado al aeropuerto también, y aqui si, toda la familia junta. En varias ocasiones se quedó sin fuerza en las subidas y se paro, comprometiendo seriamente nuestra seguridad. Por la noche las luces alumbraban al cielo y en las curvas no veíamos la carretera,con lo cual teníamos que detenernos y también comprometiendo seriamente nuestra seguridad. Para adelantar en los tramos de la autovía era casi imposible , no tenía potencia. Cuando fuimos a recoger el coche nos atendió el único que no hablaba español. Las otras personas que si lo hablaban andaban por allí pero ni caso hacían. Me pareció una falta de profesionalidad y también de respeto hacia nosotros. Lo de devolver el coche limpio me parece una cláusula abusiva, en Madeira llueve todos los días y es imposible que el coche no se ensucie. También que contratando el seguro premium que cuesta un pastón no incluya la asistencia en carretera. El coche muy nuevo pero una auténtica mierda que yo no quiero para mí ni regalado. Decir que después de una semana de la devolución y conformidad del correcto estado del vehículo aún me tienen retenida la fianza. Decían que el desbloqueo era inmediato pero no es así.

Depois de procurar algumas opções de aluguer de viaturas , achei esta empresa com bastantes criticas positivas e efetuei uma reserva. Fiz a reserva diretamente no site e com o seguro total podendo assim deixar uma caução de 250 em cartão de débito (que ja foi reembolsada). A empresa tem uma shuttle que leva do aeroporto ao balcão.O veículo estava todo OK e limpo. Deposito cheio. Era uma viatura com 20.000 Kms e portou se lindamente nas subidas! Mas se não tem muita experiência em pontos de embreagem, aconselho um automático! Minha experiência foi boa

En ningún momento te especifican que si tu tarjeta es de débito tienes que contratar obligatoriamente el seguro a todo riesgo. Te dicen que aceptan tarjeta de crédito y que te retienen 2050 ,que no aceptan Apple Pay ni Google Pay pero obvian explicarte nada sobre las tarjetas de débito,dicen que no te pueden retener y por lo tanto tienes que contratar el seguro,sin embargo sí que te retienen 250 para combustible,no son capaces de retenerte el seguro porque dicen que no pueden,pero el combustible sí. Se aprovechan que ya estás allí y en un país que no es el tuyo para hacerte la trampa (y en mi caso con un hijo y carro a cuestas ) Por otro lado,el coche estaba muy bien, excepto las ruedas (casi sin dibujo) en un país que es todo cuestas,creo que para lo que cobran es bastante vergonzoso tener así las ruedas. lo único que se salva es la chica que nos recogió en el aeropuerto,que era muy simpática y agradable. No recomiendo para nada esta empresa.

Wir hatten für 9 Tage einen Nissan Juke, welcher so gut wie neu war. Daher Zustand: tiptop. Wir mussten uns für die premium cover Versicherung entscheiden, da keine Kreditkarte. Trotzdem mussten wir bei Abholung eine Kaution für den Tank zahlen in Höhe von 250 Euro. Wobei man natürlich das Auto vollgetankt zurückbringt. Diese ist mit Debitkarte möglich. Die Rückgabe hat auch soweit reibungslos geklappt und die 250 Euro wurden nach 2 Tagen wieder erstattet. Wir waren zufrieden, jedoch manchmal bei Vertragsabschluss verwundert.

Te dan el coche sin estar el depósito lleno y te quieren sancionar por no dejarlo lleno. LE echamos más de lo que lo cogimos y para colmo nos dicen que fumamos y no somos fumadores. En conclusión cogimos a todo riesgo y no nos devolvieron la fianza. No os dejéis engañar por su amabilidad cuando sobre recogen en el aeropuerto es mera estrategia. Lo tienen todo bien estudiado. Booked the cars for 10pm as our flight was supposed to arrive at 9:35pm. Meanwhile airline modified the flight, so we arrived around 8:30pm and got to OK mobility office around 9pm. Staff tried to charge for one extra hour of insurance. What??? At return there was 2 rude ladies, like really rude. Never again from Ok Mobility.

Questão do seguro já com diversas críticas. No Booking paga-se um seguro que depois de nada vale e não existe qualquer tipo de informação sobre isso. O carro que me foi dado estava péssimo não estava em condições de ser conduzido sequer! Os travões estavam praticamente danificados faziam um barulho gigante cada vez que eram usados visto ser uma ilha como a Madeira era constante. O carro não foi verificado antes de ser entregue e este especificamente estava pronto para ir para o oficina. Fui entregar o carro diretamente na empresa para não perder tempo e trocarem por outro uma das funcionárias facilitou o processo e tratou da troca. A primeira funcionária que me atendeu simpatia e vontade de lidar com a situação da maneira mais correta foi zero! Fora isso tive que deixar o carro no dia anterior porque só abriam após o horário do meu voo e no dia a seguir ainda me ligam a perguntar quando vou deixar o carro ... deixei-o no dia anterior. Infelizmente situações imprevistas acontecem sempre mas a experiência geral com esta empresa foi má.

No pongo 0 porque no se puede. Habíamos reservado para recoger el coche a las 22.00 Nuestro vuelo se retrasó en Lisboa. Estábamos ya en el avión y no pudimos avisar. Llegamos a las 22:47 a Funchal pero ellos al parecer cerraban a las 22:00 (tiene tela porque en ningún momento nos avisaron con un mensaje ni nada, no sé que esperaban hacer si estaban cerrados ya a esa hora). Resumidamente, nadie nos vino a recoger. Intentamos llamar pero estaba cerrado. Esperamos un rato por si aparecía un shuttle bus (ya que de normal estas compañias controlan los vuelos) pero no tuvimos mas opción que finalmente irnos en el ultimo aerobús hasta Funchal. El conductor del bus nos ayudo a llegar a Ribeira Brava, pero un trayecto que en coche es de 30 min, se convirtió en 1h y media. Hasta la 1:30 am para llegar al apart-hotel. Pagamos alrededor de 50 para ir y volver del hotel, perdimos una mañana para recoger el coche, entre conseguir un taxi que fue super difícil (estábamos alojados en la otra punta de la isla), en la ida, y encima con todos los problemas que nos pusieron con la reserva: 1. Explicamos la situación y se hicieron los locos. Solo querían darnos el coche y a por el siguiente. Tras insistir en si se podría encontrar una solución, nos dijeron que el retraso del vuelo no era su problema, y que además, si hubiésemos pedido que viniesen más tarde habríamos tenido que pagar +40 xd. 2. Nos pidieron hacer un depósito de 250 para el tanque de gasolina (ok que haya que devolverlo lleno, pero 250 teniendo ellos una Repsol justo abajo ??? ), cosa que en ningún momento se avisó. 3. Nos pidieron la documentación del conductor. Quién conducía no tenía tarjeta de crédito física (requerimiento que no se especifica en ningún momento en la reserva, pero vamos, que estamos en 2024. Va siendo hora de actualizarse, que existen financieras sin tarjeta física ya). La necesitaban físicamente para corroborar que el cobro se le hacía a la persona que conducía. Les dije que yo sí tenia tarjeta, y había mi DNI, por lo que podían corroborar que mi tarjeta era mía y asumía el pago, pero NO. Me debían poner de 2a conductora y me dijeron que serían 10 /día (total 40 ). Aceptamos hasta que vieron que acababa de cumplir los 25, y me dijeron que esto sería otro plus de 10 /día (total, 80 ). Les dijimos que no íbamos a pagar eso después de todo, y demostrando que en ningún momento especificaba que se requiriese una tarjeta física. La supervisora vino y lo arreglamos para no tener que pagar de más, pero el tiempo y el dinero perdido, por su falta de servicio de att. al cliente, no nos lo ha devuelto nadie. Después en la devolución, nos encontramos a otra pareja que les pasó prácticamente lo mismo, y los pobres se fueron muy disgustados. Más allá de esto, estuvimos 1 hora esperando entre que nos atendieran y que nos llevasen de vuelta al aeropuerto. No entiendo porque pedir tanto numero y tantos datos personales cuando haces la reserva si no son ni para intentar contactar contigo cuando no llegas o cuando hay algún problema. Es una vergüenza que vayas a hacer un viaje, y una cosa que debería ser tan fácil, la vuelvan un infierno. Te hacen empezar el viaje al revés y con una mala sensación, cuando encima estas en un sitio que ni conoces y que no hablan tu mismo idioma... No lo recomendaría si queréis tener un viaje tranquilito.

Péssimo atendimento Caroline, tanto na entrega quanto na devolução do carro. Só oferecendo o seguro mais caro, não nos dando opções de escolha . Sem contar obviamente a demora pra entrega e devolução do carro, vamos chegar com horario apertadodevido ha mais de 30min de espera pra saida do transfer, ate o aeroporto, que ja demora 10min. Não recomendo pra ninguém.

Renting a car in Madeira is a must! It helped us see all the sites and enjoy the island at our pace. OK mobility was affordable and easy. We booked online through Expedia and added the extra insurance when we picked up the car. The rental place is not at the airport but there is a free shuttle to and from the airport, which made it easy.

Great service! Staff was really nice! Petra went even beyond and made our trip great with some location suggestions.

Darüber hinaus wurde eine Kaution in Höhe von 250,- für die Wiederbetankung des Fahrzeugs eingefordert. Es ist mir vollkommen unverständlich, wie solche fragwürdigen Geschäftspraktiken heutzutage noch existieren können. Leider habe ich mich vorher nicht ausreichend über diese pseudo Autovermietung informiert. Hätte ich gewusst, dass solche unlauteren Methoden angewendet werden, hätte ich mich definitiv für einen anderen Anbieter entschieden.

Please people, dont fall for this scam. Weve booked a car here for 8 days. Youre immediately being pressured to take an additional insurance of 250 and on top of that another 250 for fuel (why???). Which is really not needed if you have external insurance, but if you dont take their insurance, they will reserve 1600 on your credit card and will do absolutely everything to find details you havent documented on the car when delivering to charge you the 1600 . And be sure to take photos and not videos, as they will tell you videos arent proof. Absolute scammers. They also immediately ask you for 5 star review, so hence the reason why the place has high rating. Please people, save yourself your holiday and go for another car rental company.

Nosotros pagamos por la aplicación el seguro para que cubriese cualquier desperfecto del coche y cuando llegamos nos hicieron pagar 150 de más. Además alquilamos un coche de 110CV y nos dieron uno que apenas se podían subir las cuestas. No nos especificaron en ningún momento cuantos caballos tenía. Recomiendo que si cogéis este servicio os aseguréis bien de absolutamente todo. Lo contrastamos con otras personas que utilizaron el mismo servicio en Ok Mobility Madeira y les ocurrió lo mismo.

¡Malísima experiencia! Tuvimos que esperar 45 minutos a que nos recogiera la lanzadera en el aeropuerto. Llamábamos y nos decían que estaban llegando y no era verdad, ya que no aparecía nadie. Una vez allí, tuvimos que volver a esperar bastante tiempo a que nos dieran el coche. Fuimos con todo contratado con antelación con un seguro que incluía cualquier daño y un segundo conductor. Sin embargo, querían cobrarnos 10 más por el segundo conductor, a lo cual nos negamos. Posteriormente, la chica no paraba de advertir sobre posibles daños en el coche y el suplemento, no se si con intención de meternos miedo. En la entrega, la chica se dirige a nosotras de forma brusca y nos dice que la puerta está manchada . Nosotras nos acercamos y nos damos cuenta de que en el reposabrazos del conductor hay una mancha blanca, por lo que nos dice que nos cobrarán el suplemento de 250 si no la limpiamos. Como no teníamos ningún paño a mano, cogemos un clinex y agua y comenzamos a limpiar la mancha , la cual sale perfectamente, ya que simplemente era del roce del brazo. Sin embargo, hasta que la chica no vio que sí salía la mancha, no fue capaz de traer un paño húmedo, cosa que podría haber hecho antes y ahorrarnos el momento absurdo de estar limpiando la puerta con un clinex, pero no le interesaba porque su objetivo era cobrarnos el suplemento a toda costa. Vergonzoso lo de esta empresa y el trato recibido.

Ho prenotato un auto tramite Rental cars ma consiglio di farlo direttamente tramite il loro sito per il costo, per le tempistiche burocratiche in loco e soprattutto per lassicurazione. Arrivati allufficio infatti la commessa Carolina, che ringraziamo vivamente per la pazienza e i consigli sui posti da vedere e dove mangiare, ci ha spiegato che lassicurazione completa da 40 di Rental cars non sarebbe stata efficace durante il noleggio perché in caso di problemi avremmo dovuto prima contattare rental cars e dopo loro, di conseguenza ci sarebbero stati tempi decisamente più lunghi di attesa nel caso di problemi con la macchina. A quel punto abbiamo fatto unaltra assicurazione di 415 con ok mobility, di cui 250 di deposito cauzionale che a breve ci verranno rimborsati, che ci garantiva copertura completa dei danni esterni alla macchina, carro attrezzi, pieno di benzina a/r, cambio di veicolo gratuito. Consiglio la prenotazione con questa compagnia per la disponibilità e i prezzi. Inoltre, essendo lufficio fuori dallareoporto, cè una navetta chr vi viene a prendere agli arrivi e vi riporta al momento della partenza.

Il faut dire quand ça se passe mal, oui, mais il faut aussi savoir le faire quand tout se passe bien! Jai loué un VL chez ok mobility, aucun problème de A à Z! prise en charge à laéroport rapide, (zone où toutes les navettes de loueurs arrivent), VL golf quasi neuf (préférez les bons moteurs aux minis type fiat 500 vu les routes ...), retour et check-out sans encombre (prenez une vidéo complète du VL lors de la prise en charge), et navette aéroport directe. Des personnes très souriantes et sympathiques qui expliquent tout. Oui on ma proposé une assurance en plus mais pas insisté quand jai refusé, et évidemment noubliez pas que cest une carte de CREDIT quil faut avoir, cest bien précisé. (Je me suis fait avoir une fois, pas 2). Je recommande cette agence sans problème, si vous avez bien une carte de crédit (oui je me répète mais là est la clé dune location réussie). Super vacances

Three main problems: 1. I book directly through Booking by purchasing insurance, in which they point out that they require the credit card to be used as a deposit to block 1,400. However, once I get there, the company points out that the Booking service is not efficient and that they will not compensate anything but Booking will do it maybe. The only way to get insurance is through them paying 150 on top of the 40 paid with Booking, then requesting a refund from Booking. 2. The car booked was different from the one taken on Booking, but the car was perfect. 3. We waited about 1 hour to rent the car. 4. On the way back they ask me to fill up the car with petrol for 1 euro otherwise they would not return my deposit of 250 .

Attention ARNAQUE ... Je nai pourtant pas lhabitude de poster des mauvais commentaires mais là je devais le faire... Effectivement comme la plupart des commentaires en dessous. Lagence profite du quiproquo entre carte de crédit et débit. Nous les français utilisons à tord carte de crédit pour signifier une carte de débit, cest VRAI ! Mais se servir de ce quiproquo pour arnaquer les gens en ne laissant pas le choix de payer une assurance à plus 300 euros je trouve ça malhonnête ! Surtout que vous payez en amont un acompte, donc vous nallez pas changer dagence pour perdre cette somme... donc vous êtes piègés, et on ne vous proposera aucune autre solution! Jai lhabitude de louer des voitures aux USA / australie / cuba jamais on ne ma demandé de carte de CRÉDIT bien au contraire certains même les refusent. Alors pourquoi à Madère cela ne se passe pas comme ça ? Je suis dans le tourisme, nous acceptons que les cartes de débit pour effectuer des cautions. Bref déçue, la prochaine fois que je viendrai à Madère jirai chez SIXT qui eux prennent les deux CB. Cela ma servi de leçon.

Não recomendo !!! Tivemos cerca de 30 minutos ou mais no aeroporto à espera , apenas têm uma carrinha para levar os clientes para o centro de recolha. Depois de chegar ao centro de recolha foi nos impingido um seguro de 185 , nós como já tínhamos seguro realizado através da booking não aceitamos e a colaboradora sempre com cara de gozo a forçar fazer o seguro. Depois disto foi nos dado um dos piores carros, com várias batidas e muitos riscos. Ao fim de mais de 1h lá conseguimos levantar o carro. Não gostei do atendimento e mais uma vez digo que não recomendo!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! I had a flat tire at midnight and the roadside assistance was extremely rude over the phone. Also, the car did not come with a spare tire. And the roadside assistance took two hours to pick me up and take the keys. I was waiting for so long that even the staff at a nearby restaurant offered to take me back. When I went back the next day to pick up a new car, they charged me 37 euros for needing to fill up only one quarter tank of gas when I had a flat tire. Additionally, I had picked up the car at 9:00am and originally was planning on dropping off the car at 4:00am due to an early flight. I found out last minute that my flight was delayed until the afternoon, therefore, once I found this out, I was planning on dropping the car off at 9:00am that morning (same time as when I picked the car up). When I dropped the car off at 9:00am that morning, they tried to charge me 188 euros for dropping the car off late. They did end up waving the extra fees such as the young driver and insurance fees, so the total came out to 89 euros. I should not be charged extra for dropping the car off at the same time I picked it up! Please do yourself a favor and rent from a different company

We rented a car from OK Mobility recently for a period of 5 days. The info given about airport pick-up was excellent and we were met in good time by a cheery driver. We waited a little while at the hire place because it was busy but all the staff were helpful & efficient. Carolina helped us with our car hire & explained everything very clearly. As usual there was the request for extra insurance but there wasnt any hassle about not taking it out. Carolina showed us around the car, pointing out small issues to us & showing us the workings of the car. The car was perfect for our needs & everything went well. Drop off was easy too, with more helpful & cheery staff. One small thing that would help & would add extra would be a map to help us as we set off from the depot.

A disappointing experience in the end with OK Mobility. We were advised when picking up the car that we may return the car within the store hours (7am to 10pm). The booking form however had 10am, so I confirmed before the hire that it was ok to return the car in the afternoon. The worker at the time confirmed that this was ok and I signed against the terms and conditions. To my surprise, when I returned the vehicle at 6:30pm as agreed, the receiving worker told me that I will be charged a whole extra day of hire because of late return . Section 2.3 of the rental terms and conditions states that The vehicle Check-In and Check-Out can be conducted within the specified opening and closing hours of the selected Store in your reservation . This is completely misleading and in my view is designed to trick consumers into pay extra. Furthermore, given that our flight was delayed on arrival, we were also charged an extra 30 Euros for late pickup (10:30pm) at the start of the booking. Despite having no issues with our vehicle, the whole experience leaves a sour and disappointing taste and I feel like I ve been ripped off. Great service and we got a brand new Nissan Juke, which was perfect for the hills of Madeira. Only thing is be mindful of the nearest gas station first opens at 07.00 am. We almost missed the airport transfer because we wanted to fill the tank next to the car rental when returning the car. But the transfer shuttle waited for us and drop off was easy. Many thanks! This place should be called GreatMobility. Close location to the airport (they have a shuttle, but alternatively it is a 30 minute walk and 4 euro taxi). Came in with an existing reservation for a further out time and they accommodated me to give me an earlier time at no extra cost. The car insurance they provided was a reasonable price and covered all damage to the car with no deductible, which we ended up needing. Shoutout to Luis, he was friendly and spent plenty of time with us explaining OkMobilitys policies and even drove us to the airport after we returned the car. Amazing employee!

Abbiamo scelto lopzione 2 in quanto la nostra carta non copriva il deposito senza assicurazione. Servizio gentile, disponibile e veloce. Consegnata unauto di categoria superiore rispetto a quella prenotata, per lo stesso prezzo. Deposito restituito entro 30gireni, dipende dalla banca.

Fortement déçue... Vous commencez vos vacances par une arnaque basée sur ah oui mais cest écrit dans les conditions de paiement. Il serait judicieux de PRÉCISER dans vos conditions quil est nécessaire de ramener sur place une carte de crédit et non de débit, et préciser les frais impliqués si ce nest pas le cas. Surtout que la plupart des commentaires sur votre entreprise sont des plaintes exactement liées à cette situation !!! Si ce nest pas la preuve que vous profitez de ce quiproquo pour abuser de vos clients... En plus, le local est situé à distance de laéroport, donc on se sent vraiment pris au piège, pas denseigne de location de voiture connue à proximité... On ne vous propose pas de solution alternative... Pour ma part, si javais pu estimer le prix final en toute connaissance de frais, je serais passée par une autre agence de location...

I do not recommend. Receiving the car was great, but the return was bad. They detected some scratches on the car and instead of checking if they had already delivered the car like that, they asked me to prove with photos or videos that it already was. It doesnt seem like a good way to operate if they start by distrusting their customers. Another issue, I said the brakes were making some noises. They asked if the car shook when I braked. As it didnt shake, they said there was no problem instead of saying they would try to solve the problem. Would book a car there again.

Perfect experience. The shuttle arrives at the airport around every 15 minutes. The ride to the store is just a few min. The pickup process was easy and quick. (Note that if you dont have a credit card for the deposit you need to pay for extra insurance). We didnt get the car that we booked (got a Skoda suv instead of Peugeot 2008) but it was still perfect. I recommend a suv because some roads in Madeira are scary steep. And I recommend renting a car because it makes it easy to get to the epic locations quickly. Madeira has so many. :)

Ich hatte ein Skoda Scala von 28.04/bis 05.05.24 angemietet, das Auto sollte ich aufgrund meines früheren Flugs um 06.00 Uhr in der Nacht von 04/05.05.24 irgendwie übergeben. Am 04.05.24, nachmittags, gestattete ich einen Besuch bei ok.mobility, um zu erfragen, wie mit der Rückgabe des Autos auf uns zukäme. Am Office trafen wir die Claudia, die uns sehr nett empfang und nach unserem Anliegen direkt fragte. Sie hat sofort reagiert, in dem sie uns sagte, dass sie das Problem lösen wird. Nach einem kurzen Gespräch mit ihrem Chef kam sie zurück zu uns und teilte uns mit, dass wir das Auto gegen 04.00 Uhr im Hof einer Autowäschestation - 50 m entfernt- in der Nacht abstellen können. Den Autoschlüssel sollen wir in den Autoschlüsselbox vorm Eingang reinwerfen. Sie löste das letzte Problem auch, dass sie für uns einen Zettel einreichte, darauf stand der Name eines Taxifahrers, der uns um 04.00 Uhr von dort zum Flughafen fahren wird. Wir sollten den Taxifahrer per WhatsApp kontaktieren. In dieser Nacht von 04/05.05.24 hat alles perfekt funktioniert, wie Claudia das Programm erstellt hat, kann ich nur tausendmal DANKE sagen, meine Frau war erleichtert, dass alles so reibungslos und stressfrei von Claudia arrangiert wurde. Die Claudia von ok.mobility hat ihrer Firma einen sehr guten Job gemacht, wir waren von ihrer Freundlichkeit und Bereitschaft zu helfen, sehr positiv beeindruckt! Nochmals, vielen Dank Claudia:) Ich kann die ok.mobility bedenkenlos empfehlen!

Cuidado con los coches de esta empresa, parecen buenos y nuevos, pero tienen un desgaste excesivo ya que Madeira tiene muchísimas cuestas y muy pendientes, los embragues y frenos sufren mucho y puede que el que te toque este en las ultimas como fue mi caso. Si se rompe mientras te toca a ti, te hacen pagar los 1500 de reparación y encima te dicen que es por negligencia. En mi caso a los 30km de salir de allí, el embrague empezó a fallar y a los 100km el coche se paro por completo. Suerte que pude parar en un sitio seguro. Recomiendo coger un coche automático en Madeira, como dije antes los embragues sufren mucho y es un poco lotería que te toque a ti uno peor o mejor

El coche estaba en muy buenas condiciones. La atención del personal muy bien, destacar la de una trabajadora llamada Petra que fue muy amable y muy profesional.

Me volví loca para encontrar una agencia de alquiler de coches porque veía opiniones negativas en todos los lados. Al final me decanté por esta y lo reservé directamente por su web (cogí cobertura premium). Con esta cobertura luego te retienen allí un depósito de 250 en caso de que traigas el coche sin combustible. Tampoco te incluye asistencia en carretera (yo no lo cogí). Nos recogieron en una furgoneta y nos llevaron a la oficina y todo sin problema. Nos dieron un coche que estaba totalmente nuevo y con buena potencia. Al entregarlo al tener la cobertura premium no revisaron nada. Fue todo súper fácil y rápido. Quede muy contenta. Volvería a reservar con ellos.

I felt completely disrespected as a client after my interaction at OK Mobility in Funchal. We arrived at Funchal and even though we have booked an SUV we got a smaller car instead. People chose different categories to suit their needs and rental companies should not overlook that to their convenience. Madeira is a place with steep terrains, not to mention the comfort of a bigger car when you travel with two children. What upset me the most was that after a flight with two children that were definitely eager to get to their final destination, we encountered a complete lack of empathy or acknowledgment of their breach of contract, trying to convince us that it was the same category of car, instead of apologizing for not having the car available and offer a solution. As if they had nothing to do with that, they coldly told us to go look for a car a somewhere else, with our bags and our children, they just expected us to go find a last minute car. This is insensitive to say the least. Even if I was by myself, you don t make a client feel trapped like that. Is just bad service - either take that or go away! What about the agreement? Is not like I was asking a favor. I paid for a service and I expected to be served with what was agreed on. As a client I know that some there can be changes and alterations, but I also expect that a company would take responsibility for their failures and not treat clients with misdemeanor and neglect.

This is a scam car rental center, do not under any circumstances rent a car from them. You receive a car that has damage to all parts of the outside and then when you bring it back as you received it, they immediately find a couple new scratches. When you show them photos of the major scratches they tell you that you didnt see the tiny new ones. You are billed an extreme amount. There are secondary issues as well that other people have mentioned, figuring out how to contact this place to pick you up from the airport is very difficult because the call number goes to a central office who cant help. The only reason this place exists is to get money from customers by scheming them. Be prepared to dispute your credit card charges with them

I rented a small car at OK Mobility last week and everything went very smooth! I highly recommend this company! The price was very cheap (compared to other company) and the service was excellent, the car (Citroen C3) was in good condition. We arrived at Madeira airport, we exited the airport and waited in front of the arrivals, we called the number (+351) 935 488 703 , and the driver mentionned that he will be there in 10 minutes (i recommend to call just to be sure they come to pick you up). The driver was speaking a very good english and provided us a lot of information. The check-in was smooth, and we were asked if we wanted to take the insurance in addition, but i declined and there was no pressure from their side. Also: as a french we only have DEBIT card (you can check it directly on the card itself it is mentionned DEBIT normally), and i was asked to provide a CREDIT card, fortunately I had an American Express card, otherwise i dont know how it works. After the check-in, they recommended us to take a lot of pictures of the car and even video, just in case for the check-out there is a doubt, it was nice from them to let us know. There is a gas station just 100m from the OK mobility agency. On the check-out everything went very smooth, and we were brough back to the airport by a very kind driver (Thanks Carlos!) also speaking very good english ! And providing us very good and useful information! Thanks again !

Nosotros teníamos seguro con Zúrich. - Te bloquean 1.600 euros que tardan más de una semana en devolverte. - Por dos arañazos nos cobraron 360 . - El coche que nos dieron tenía ya arañazos y abollones en la puerta. No arreglan los coches con el dinero que te cobran. - Te cobran y te dicen que ya lo soluciones tú con la empresa que contrataste el alquiler desde tu país. Ellos se desentienden. - Una ESTAFA. No volveremos a contratar con esta empresa.

O atendimento correu muito bem. Obrigada a senhora Carolina pela simpática e pelas recomendações de vários restaurantes. O veículo estava em bom estado geral sem ser claro pequenas riscos no exterior. Aconselhamos de pegar o seguro contra todos os riscos e assim ficar com a franquia 0, para evitar certos problemas que as pessoas tiveram nos comentários. A Madeira é linda mas há muitas subidas, e zonas com menos largura nas estradas, um risco ou algo do género pode acontecer rapidamente (infelizmente).

Leider habe ich die Bewertungen von OK Mobility nicht vorgängig gelesen. Mir ergeht es wie so vielen anderen auch. Der Trick der Vermietungsfirma: Versicherungen müssen ein zweites mal abgeschlossen werden. (Premium Cover und Road Assistance) Man wird dazu gezwungen, obwohl dieser Komplettschutz schon bei Bookingcom abgeschlossen wurden. Es muss eine zusätzliche Kaution von 250 Euro geleistet werden; sonst gibt es kein Auto. Das Geld wird jedoch nicht mehr zurückbezahlt. E-Mails werden nicht beantwortet. Zuständige Personen sind nicht erreichbar. KEINENFALLS WERDE ICH okmobility empfehlen. Heute 29.5.2024 vier Monate später habe ich das Mietdepot immer noch nicht zurück bezahlt bekommen. Trotz nettem Schreiben, dass das Rückgabeprotokoll in Ordnung sei und die Überweisung bald komme. Betrug auf der ganzen Linie!

Ich habe schon mehrmals einen mietwagen dort bestellt und war immer sehr zufrieden. Neue Fahrzeuge, kompetente, freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Transfer klappt reibungslos und bei Herausforderungen werden zufiedenstellende Lösungen gesucht. Der Preis (full Service) ist sehr gut. Ich fühle mich dort sehr gut aufgehoben.

Muy buen trato desde el primer momento. La oficina está a 5 minutos del aeropuerto pero te recogen en una furgoneta y te desplazan hacia la oficina y viceversa. Muy puntuales y servicio muy rápido. No estaba disponible el coche que contratamos y nos buscaron una solución rápida dándonos otro coche de mayor prestaciones por el mismo precio. El seguro a todo riesgo sin franquicia es un acierto para no tener sorpresas en tu viaje por lo que lo recomiendo.De esta manera solo te bloquean 250 euros para el combustible y se devuelve al entregar el coche lleno. Muy recomendable. Repetiremos.

Total scam. On arrival we heard that they didnt except the CDW agreed in the rental thru Booking/Rentalcars. We had to buy an extra insurance or taking the risk for possible thousands of euros because all possible damages incl the breaks and clutches would be our own risk. It took a long time to get to their office on Madeira, we had to wait a long time for the transit bus en had to pay a lot more money for the insurance. They are a total scam and only want to sell extra insurances of stuff you up with a bill for damages to the car. My advise to anybody: Dont use these scammers, but use a normal rental company at the airport. Really guys: Stay far away from OK Mobility unless you want to spend a lot of money.

Plus, we only had to wait around 5min for the shuttle service at the terminal to take us to the office. The car was in perfect condition and never gave us any problems. Exceptional car hire service. My first time hiring a car abroad and I was incredibly nervous but the staff were brilliant about everything. I would like to give a special mention to the young lad, Francisco I think his name was, who took the time to assure me, come for a test drive in the car I had, and then drop me at the airport afterwards. I returned the car 5 days ago and I still haven t received the return contract/document via email, although they said the car condition is great and I will receive it within 30 min - 1 hour on the same return day. Also, the deposit amount of 1,600 (which is a lot and excluding the rental cost) is still frozen and they haven t returned yet. This is very annoying in itself and in addition, there s no way to contact them, not by email or phone number!

I was worried after reading the comments here but my experience turned out to be excellent! Shuttle came on time, quick pick up, friendly staff, good car, they follow the same protocols for renting a car in Europe, insurance was reasonably priced, smooth return.

We rented a car for 4 days and had a pleasant experience. Car was in solid condition and everything worked well. We felt a bit uneasy at pickup because we had third-party insurance that covered our deductible and the employee kept repeating since you do not have any insurance, because we did choose not to get their extra coverage. A little less pushy would have been appreciated, even though I can understand the urge for upselling. Drop off with Fancisco was extremely easy (even though the car had several previous damages) and he offered great customer service. The airport shuttle was very quick and comfortable.
