Wir hatten ein Skoda Scala mit Automatik Getriebe und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Auto kommt alle Strassen problemlos hinauf und ist modern ausgestattet (Rückfahrkamera, Sensoren, Car Play ). Auch war das Auto sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Die Übergabe verlief unkompliziert und pünktlich und das Auto wurde uns zum Hotel gebracht. Auch waren die Mitarbeiter freundlich und die Kommunikation war gut. Bei Problemen konnte man sich immer melden. Ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben zu viert einen Skoda Scala gemietet und waren rundum zufrieden! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war top, inklusive Vollkasko ohne Kaution. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die exzellente Kommunikation über WhatsApp. Obwohl ursprünglich kein Skoda Scala verfügbar war, wurde uns auf Nachfrage schnell und unkompliziert ein weiteres Fahrzeug freigeschaltet. Die Übergabe und Rückgabe des Autos verlief pünktlich und unkompliziert. Das Fahrzeug war sauber, in einwandfreiem Zustand und relativ neu. Besonders praktisch war das integrierte Android Carplay, das uns super bei der Navigation mit Google Maps geholfen hat. Ich kann den Autovermieter jedem wärmstens empfehlen unser Aufenthalt in Madeira wurde dadurch noch schöner. Hat echt Spass gemacht!

Excellent top service. Luis is a wonderful person. That is the easiest way I ever get a rental car. We texted with WhatsApp, and after 10 minutes we have been negotiated. No extra charges, no hidden small letters on the contract. There is no need for extra insurance or pictures of the car. When I was at the airport, he was there waiting for me with an open trunk. I was asking some extra questions about Madeira during my stay. Luisin was always open and fast to giving me advice and helping me on time. At the end of staying in Madeira, my flight was early in the morning. Other companies would say it is a problem but he was awaked at 6 in the morning and he was waiting for me. I left the car and he gave me a drive to the airport with my family. Fantastic service fast !!!

His cars are super clean and well maintained! First we got a Skoda Fabia(practically new 3000km). After our check out our departure flight was cancelled. Everything was very clear and transparent with no hidden extras, no deposit, no credit card needed, fully comprehensive insurance was included in the very reasonable price. Communication with the company was very easy, clear and friendly at any time we needed support. Unfortunately we had a small accident on the road and Rental Moniz was extremely helpful and reasurred us that everything will be taken care of and we shouldnt worry about anything- that was 100% true, its a very genuine company which we will recommend to anyone and we would definitely use their services again as they stand by their word. Wir sind sehr zufrieden! Wir hatten sieben Tage lang den Skoda Fabia. Das Auto war sehr gepflegt und machte keine Probleme. Auch die teilweise sehr steilen Wege auf Madeira waren damit leicht befahrbar. Mit der Autovermietung lief alles perfekt. Vom Start bis zum Ende wurde alles einfach kommuniziert. Die Kontaktperson (Luiz) war sehr freundlich und bot für alles seine Hilfe an. Zusammenfassend können wir sagen, das Rental Moniz zu einem sehr entspanntem Urlaub beigetragen hat.

Staff from Rental Moniz has been extremely helpful and they have met all our needs. They let us collect the car from the airport and agreed to come and collect it from our place before departing although their office is not located at the airport terminal. It was the first time I have ever rented a car somewhere and we chose this rental place for its reviews / price / car pool. The overall experience was wonderful and the communication with the main person was clear and understandable. After we arrived, the car was ready in 15 minutes and it was provided with additional information about the car. Any scratch on the car was shown by the owner and it was also listed in provided documents. The insurance works perfectly - I had an accident with parking where I accidentally scratched the right side of our car with the wall and there wasn t any additional payment. Price is also with the insurance. If I would come back on mailers, I would rent a car here for sure (but maybe a bit better car ) be careful about the engines of some car, because the hills are sometimes insane. All in all you can drive the highest mountain pretty fine but some views could be missed because of that.

Great communication from the owner. The car was delivered and dropped off at a place and time of our choosing. The owner will show you around the car and explain the basic stuff you need to know about driving and parking in Madeira. There was no issue returning the car either. All in all, great experience.
