Sehr freundliches Personal und problemlose Abwicklung. Die Station liegt nicht direkt am Flughafen, Shuttle funktioniert sehr gut (ca. 5 Minuten Fahrzeit ohne Stau). Einziges Manko: Ich warte nun schon seit ca. 3 Wochen auf die Entlastung meiner Kreditkarte.

Leider bin ich genauso wie viele andere auf den Versicherungstrick hingefallen. Da bucht man online mit kompletten Versicherungsschutz und dann wollen sie vor Ort einen Selbstbehalt von 3.600,00 für eine Woche oder zusätzlich 284,00 für eine Vollkaskoversicherung. Da die meisten Kreditkarten mit einem Limit von 3.000,00 ausgestattet sind, bleibt einem dann gar nichts anderes übrig, als die Zusatzkosten in Kauf zu nehmen. Alle Dokumente werden in portugiesischer Sprache als Email zugeschickt, also auch keine Chance es wirklich zu überprüfen was man unterschreibt (Vorschäden usw). Positiv: Auto war sauber und der Flughafentransfer hat funktioniert.

Man muss shuttlebus nehmen trotzdem ist alles reibungslos und sehr schnell. Wagen ist im guten Zustand. Preis niedrig.

Lief alles hervorragend! Wie immer braucht man im Ausland eine ECHTE Kreditkarte (keine Debit oder ähnliches). Aber da das immer / oft so ist und auch vorher so kommuniziert wurde, war das kein Problem. Top Auto, Top Service, gerne wieder.

Exatamente a mesma coisa dos comentários normais. Cobraram um seguro adicional sendo que já tinha pago pela booking um seguro adicional para não ter problemas, não aceitaram o cartão de débito, e pediram um caução de 3050 . Tive de pagar um seguro extra de 147 que ficou mais caro que o aluguer inicial, para poder dispensar da caução... não deram solução nenhuma, e oara não ficar pendurado lá tive que pagar, o aluguer do carro ficou o dobro. Nunca mais alugo a companhias que não conheço... esta desaconselhado completamente. Deixam as pessoas enervadas e sem vontade de começar as férias. Vergonhoso

Super unkomplizierter Service. Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und haben unverzüglich unseren Wagen bekommen. Des Auto war tip top in Schuss. Nach 14 Tagen habe ich die schnellste Rückgabe meines Lebens erlebt. Kurzer Smalltalk, Kilometerstand geprüft und einmal grob ums Auto gegangen. Fertig. Derweil hat eine super nette Dame meine Koffer in den Flughafen Shuttle eingeräumt. Perfekt. Gerne wieder.

Hallo, um einmal mit diesen Falschmeldungen hier aufzuräumen und was zu beachten ist: - ihr braucht eine Kreditkarte (wie in fast jedem Land beim leihen mit Kaution) - ihr habt eine Zusatzversicherung, von der tangerine aber nichts weiß und deshalb geben sie die Empfehlung. Da zb auch unser Voucher in deutsch war können sie es auch nicht lesen - Lest euch den Voucher mal genau durch und dann steht weiter unten auch alles detailliert da. Somit braucht ihr das nur ablehnen und bezahlt die besagte Kaution und alles ist io. Ich verstehe nicht wie man darauf rumreiten kann und ihnen dafür die Schuld gibt, wenn man den Voucher nicht einfach mal vorher komplett liest. Die Kaution wurde euch auch während der Buchung auf einer der Seiten explizit vorab mit angezeigt - das Personal hat sehr wohl schon viele deutsche gesehen, wiel gefühlt ( nach zwei Wochen Erfahrung) 2/3 der Touristen deutsche sind - alle Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich. Wir hatten noch nie so viel Kulanz bzgl Zeit bei Abholung und Abgabe. Noch nie ging die Abgabe so schnell. Uns wurde geholfen die Koffer zum Shuttle (welches sie selbst betreiben per Kleinbus) zu bringen usw. Sogar schon bei der Abholung hat uns der Fahrer Tipps für den Verkehr gegeben auf Madeira und hat die Zeit mit uns so aktiv genutzt - das Auto war relativ neuwertig (c5 aircross mit 10.000km) und absolut in Ordnung bis auf paar kleinere Kratzer, die ihr einfach vorher fotografiert und bei der Abgabe dabei habt. Noch dazu hatte das Auto Features, die wir nicht bestellt haben kostenlos drin (zb Navi). Ansonsten geht natürlich auch Android Auto quasi immer... Sofern wir nochmal vorbeikommen also gerne wieder, ich kann nur loben bis auf eine Sache: Die Ausleihgebühr für den Kindersitz ist relativ hoch (ca. 165 Euro bei >=10 Tagen). Wir haben deshalb einen gebrauchten gekauft plus Tasche (quasi unser Zweitsitz ab sofort, weil wir eh nochmal den gleichen wollten) und ihn mitgenommen (geht kostenlos mit Kind am Airport über Sperrgepäck). Positiv: Die Kindersitze von tangerine (im Shuttle war zb einer) sind aber entgegen einiger Kommentare in Foren absolut sauber, neuwertig und auch gute Sitze (Sitz 1-4 Jahre) von Joie (in unserem Beispiel)

Une escroquerie. Nous avions pris une assurance à 180 qui n a servi à rien puisqu ils nous ont obligé à payer 280 de plus (et encore ils nous demandaient 480 et en discutant 1 h on a réussi à baisser) parce que soit disant le dépôt de caution ne marchait pas parce qu il n y avait soit disant pas assez d argent sur notre compte. Le bureau est situé à 5 mn en navette de l aéroport (ce qui n est pas précisé à la réservation) donc toujours du temps perdu. De plus nous avons payé 55 supplémentaire car suite à un retard de vol de la TAP on a récupéré le véhicule après minuit. Bref très mauvaise expérience. Je ne conseille pas du tout cette compagnie de location de voiture, ni la TAP d ailleurs retard à l aller (8h) et au retour (1h30)

Ich habe heute ein Fahrzeug übernommen, für das ich bereits bei der Buchung eine Versicherung abgeschlossen habe. Der freundliche Mitarbeiter wies mich darauf hin, dass die Versicherung für mich ungünstig wäre; ich solle doch für mehr als 250 für elf Tage eine Versicherung bei ihm abschließen, dann wäre die Kaution auch geringer als die geforderten 1250 . Ich habe die Kaution hinterlegt und mich auf keine weitere Versicherung eingelassen. Ich werde am Ende meiner Reise berichten, wie die Aktion mit dem Vermieter abgewickelt wurde. Nachtrag: Die Übernahmequittung wurde mir bei Übergabe per Mail geschickt. Die Inhalte völlig unverständlich. Wenn ich das bei Übernahme mit dem Fahrzeug-Zustand hätte abgleichen wollen es wäre unmöglich gewesen. Die Rückgabe verlief problemlos. Bin gespannt, ob meine Kaution entlastet wird.

Komplette abzocke!! Kreditkartenlimit war geringfügig zu niedrig. Wer erwartet denn auch auf die sowieso schon sehr Hohe Kaution von 2500 nochmal eine extra Kaution für den Tank in Höhe von 150 . Das Thema scheint eine Masche zu sein, denn der Mitarbeiter konnte mir sofort die Extrakonditionen für so einen Fall nennen. Es war keine Kaution für das Auto mehr notwendig, aber wir sollten knapp 300 Strafgebühr bezahlen (der Mietpreis war 180 ). Hinzu kommt die Kaution für den Tank und eine Versicherung von 400 !!! Wir haben den Laden verlassen und das Auto dort gelassen. Bei Budget haben wir dann ein Auto für 200 inkl aller Versicherungen für die selbe Dauer gebucht. ACHTUNG!

Achtung Abzocke!! Alles fing eigentlich schon damit an, dass wir 45 Minuten auf den Shuttle von Tangerine warten mussten der uns versprochen wurde! Der Fahrer war sehr nett, alles gut! Empfang war mehr als herzlich , wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dann allerdings sagte der Mitarbeiter dass wir jetzt über die Zahlung sprechen würden und Versicherungen und sein komplettes Auftreten hat sich von einem Moment auf den Anderen komplett verändert. Er wurde kühl und unfreundlich! Wir haben über Check 24 ein Auto mit Vollkasko zu einem angenehmen Preis gebucht und natürlich schon alles im Voraus bezahlt! Daher haben wir gar nicht verstanden warum das Thema Bezahlung und Versicherung überhaupt angesprochen wurde! Mein Partner war als Hauptfahrer eingetragen leider ging seine Kreditkarte vor Ort nicht! Mich als Hauptfahrer einzutragen wäre anscheinend überhaupt nicht möglich ! Meine Kreditkarte hat einwandfrei funktioniert, aber nur um die Kaution zu hinterlegen absolut nicht möglich! ( aus Versicherungstechnischen Gründen hrm) Eine Zusatzversicherung für 450 Euro könnte ich schon zahlen und das wäre auch die einzige Möglichkeit den Wagen überhaupt zu bekommen! Wir haben das Geld gezahlt weil der Mitarbeiter sehr sturr war! Wir fühlen uns jetzt sehr verarscht und es war absolut kein schöner Start in den Urlaub! Bucht lieber woanders!

Tout simplement des ESCROCS ! Oser dire aux gens que les assurances quils ont souscrites en même temps que la location de la voiture ne vaut rien alors que cest écrit noir sur blanc quil ny a pas besoin de souscrire dautres assurances en plus au près du prestataire, cest un scandale. Ils font exprès de mettre des cautions à 2500 pour que vous nayez pas le montant disponible sur votre carte de crédit et faire payer les assurances pour enlever cette caution. Et lorsque vous refusez sachant que vous nen navez pas besoin, ils vous font peur pour un éventuel dépannage si la voiture a un problème.... Après restitution de la voiture nous avons même dû attendre plus de 30minutes pour avoir un fichu bout de papier de confirmation pour la restitution de la caution. Ces gens sont des malhonnêtes, des escrocs et jespère sincèrement quil ny aura pas trop de victimes de leur malversations !

Cette agence est un scandale, cest du jamais vu. A larrivée nous avons perdu 1h, car ils nous ont fait croire que notre assurance que nous avions pris en même temps que la location nétait pas valable et profite de faire des cautions à 2500euro (+ 150 pour lessence) pour faire peur aux gens et obliger à prendre des assurances qui ne sont pas du tout nécessaire. Après restitution, rebelote, nous avons attendu 45 minutes pour juste avoir une attestation que nous avions rendu en conformité la voiture et avoir une garantie de retour de caution. Plusieurs excuses comme quoi limprimante ne fonctionnait pas et la dame a du envoyé une photo au responsable de leur bout de papier pour preuve... Ces gens sont malhonnêtes et savent très bien se quils font, à fuire!!!! De plus, nous avons demander une voiture moyenne et nous sommes retrouvé avec un T-roc dun litre... autant vous dire que sur lile de Madeire ça navance pas!

As if this amount wasnt enough, you have 150 more for a full tank of gas Then, if you booked with the full insurance option, SURPRISEEE when you arrive at the rental agency it s strangely not valid! To be fully covered you would have to pay an additional 400 (for 12 days... lol). Go to another agency

Scam scam scam! As many others reported, total rip off. We had already spent 150 on the broker fee and when we got there to pick up the car, that money was basically lost and we had to pay full price for the car + insurance (16 euro per day for the car and 25 euro per day for the insurance). They fear monger you into buying the insurance saying the police cant file police reports in private places so if you re parked inside a private car park and you get hit you are not covered. For the peace of mind on our relaxing holiday we went for it as it seems like the kind of place that would scam you when you return the car. Wish we had seen these reviews before we purchased! This place will be out of business in no time with the way they treat customers. Shameful!!!!

Pongo 1 porque no puedo poner CERO! Muy mala atención, hice una reserva por Booking y cuando llegue al lugar me pidieron 1600 de seguro de coche y que tenía que pagarlos en efectivo!! Haben über Check24 gebucht und alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Die Abholung vom Flughafen und der Transfer zum Flughafen. Wir hatten einen Renault Clio in einem guten Zustand erhalten, der vollkommen ausreichend für die Madeira Erkundung gewesen ist.

Top Anbieter. Auto schnell empfangen (10 min) bei Sara, gebuchter Autotyp C3 war auch da, vollgetankt und alle vorhandenen Schäden ehrlich dokumentiert. Bei Abgabe noch schneller bei Chico(?). Danach sofort shuttle zum Flughafen. Klasse. Übrigens: Bei Ankunft nicht die Nerven verlieren. Der shuttle kommt, dauerte nur ca 15min. Läuft.

Nous avons eu recours à la société de location Drivalia pour nos vacances à Madère. Il s agit de la pire expérience de location que j ai eu à ce jour. Les pratiques adoptées sont véreuses. Premièrement, le paiement de l assurance. Nous avions réservé et payé en amont mais le jour de récupérer la voiture le staff nous a demandé de payer une assurance en plus (qui doublait le prix de la location). Selon lui, notre carte bancaire n était pas compatible avec le TPE il ne pouvait pas faire d emprunte bancaire en cas de casse. Nous avons dû payer 350 d assurance en plus. Pour l essence par contre pas de problème nous avons totalement pu faire une emprunte de 100 euros. Deuxièmement, la jauge d essence. Au lieu de mettre le plein, la société ne met que les 3/4. Très simple pour les usagers ensuite pour rendre la jauge tel quel . Je ne recommande absolument pas cette société

Really easy, efficient and friendly staff throughout the entire process. Pick up was nice and quick from the airport, at the office we decided to upgrade to a better car and by the end of the trip we were thankful that we did! If/when we return we wouldnt hesitate in using Tangerine again!

A Tangerine employee (Carlos) handled my booking. Upon pickup, he gave me a packet containing the car documents and did not give any instructions on what to do with this packet. I was there on vacation for 5 days. At the end of the trip, I had an early flight when I was leaving Madeira, before Tangerine was open at 8am, so I parked the car in front of the entrance and dropped the key off in the key box. I kept the packet thinking the documents were for me to keep. I get a call from him hours later claiming that he sent me instructions on WhatsApp stating that I was supposed to leave the packet in the car when I dropped it off. I never received such instructions on WhatsApp and screenshotted my inbox to show that I didn t receive any messages. Furthermore, if this was so important, he could have told me this when I was picking up the car, but he did not. He told me to mail the packet back to him including a tracking #. When I went to the postal service to mail the packet, it cost me $17 just for this packet. I asked if he can reimburse me for the shipping fee, and that s when he became extremely rude saying it was my fault I didn t leave the packet in the car. I can t read his mind. If you don t provide clear instructions for your customers, you can t expect them to just know. I asked to speak with his manager (Miguel) who was then even worse. He talked down to me as if I didn t know anything. It was unprofessional and unnecessary. The packet contained a few documents they could have easily reprinted from the shop. Imagine if it had gotten lost/stolen from me if it was out of my control. Surely they would have the originals and be able to replace/reprint those documents Don t waste your time with this company. Book with another one.

Inicialment preu correcte, uns 60 EUR dia per un SUV pero amb fiança de 2600 EUR que usen com a parany per oferir-te insistentment una rebaixa a 0 de la fiança per un modic preu de 45 EUR dia. En no acceptar em van oderir passar a 450 EUR si pagava 30 EUR dia. Va ser molt desagradable ja que eren molt insistents i no els va agrafar que no agafes cap opcio de reduccio. Jo no els recomano per aquest fet abusiu, el vehicle pero estava be i en condicions.

Ist alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit gelaufen! Der Mitarbeiter Nuno hat sich bei der Abholung viel Zeit genommen, um sämtliche offene Fragen zu klären und war stets sehr bemüht und freundlich. Sämtliche Vorschäden wurden dokumentiert und dem Kunden transparent mitgeteilt. Auch bei der Abholung lief alles reibungslos und wir wurden innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Shuttle- Service von einem ebenfalls sehr netten Angestellten zum Flughafen gefahren. Alles in allem ist der Anbieter absolut zu empfehlen!

Waren im März da und mit die ersten Kunden. Unkomplizierter ging es nicht. Check-in 10 Minuten, Abgabe 2 Minuten. Super tolerant reagiert, auf von uns verschuldete Probleme (gesperrte Kreditkarte durch falsche PIN Eingabe).

Nous avons loué cet été une voiture avec Tangerine, en réservant au préalable en ligne. Arrivés sur place, la douche froide : l agence refuse de prendre notre carte de débit et nous oblige à payer le double de la location, et ce sous prétexte qu ils ne peuvent bloquer la caution. J ai réservé de nombreuses fois des voitures avec ma carte ou celle de mon conjoint et jusqu à présent les cautions ont toujours pus être bloquée dessus. Je vois la une énorme arnaque de leur part et j ai trouvé ça scandaleux cette méthode. À savoir qu en France, une carte de crédit et de débit sont identiques et nous les appelons toujours carte de crédit. Nous avons demandé à annuler mais ils refusaient de nous rembourser notre caution, ce qui n était pas envisageables. Je déconseille à tous cette agence. Concernant la voiture RAS, elle était très bien pour la semaine.

Haben über Check 24 diesen Anbieter aus Deutschland gebucht. Auto hatte erst 3500km runter also quasi neu. Gebucht war ein Opel Corsa den wir auch erhalten haben, was bei anderen Anbietern meist nie der Fall war. Preis relativ hoch im Vergleich zu Spanien aber so ist das eben. Gebucht wurde über Check 24 mit Vollkasko ohne Selbstbehalt und allem drum und dran, also nichts aufschwatzen lassen, denn die Leute wissen ja nicht was ihr gebucht habt. Kaution nur zahlbar mit richtiger Kreditkarte, nicht debit. Die Abwicklung verlief beim abholen ein klein wenig schleppend, aber nur weil 2 Mieter vor uns da waren. Der Prozess selbst ging dann aber in 5 min über die Bühne. Die Abgabe war auch sehr flott, hat keine 5 min gedauert. Wir hatten es eilig zum Flughafen zu kommen und es hat alles gepasst. Der Transfer war auch super schnell und der Fahrer freundlich und hilfsbereit beim Gepäck. Warum nur 4 Sterne? Tankregelung war voll, voll. Der Tank war nicht voll, als ich den Mitarbeiter daraufhin wies sagte er, dass die Nadel nicht bis zum Anschlag ist aufgrund der Schräge wo der Wagen Stand. Was sich als falsch herausstellte. Wagen war einfach nicht vollgetankt. Waren am Ende aber nur 5 bis 7 aber die Masse machts ja dann. Somit achtet auf einen vollen Tank.

Wir haben den Mietwagen über CHECK24 gebucht und auch die Versicherung dort abgeschlossen. Den Zweitfahrer kann man optional vor Ort buchen, man muss nur die Taxes in Portugal dann berücksichtigen. Insgesamt hatten wir den Mietwagen Der Transfer vom und zum Flughafen hat reibungslos funktioniert, der Bulli war sehr neu und hat damit schonmal einen guten Eindruck vermittelt. Das Auto (Opel Corsa) war Recht neu (6000km) und in sehr gutem Zustand (mit kleineren schrammen). Berganfahrassistent und die höhere Leistung waren sehr vorteilhaft auf Madeira. Auch Android Auto und Apple car Play fanden wir toll. Natürlich wird einem vor Ort noch die Möglichkeit gegeben, statt die Kaution (1500 ) zu hinterlegen, eine Versicherung von ~380 zu nehmen. Zusätzlich sind 150 zu hinterlegen, für den Fall, dass man das Auto nicht mit vollem Tank wieder abgibt. Die Rückgabe hat gut geklappt, es gab keine Beanstandungen und auch kein Unterschieben von Schäden oder ähnlichem. Die Rückerstattung dieser Deposits verlief schnell.

Récemment, jai loué une voiture via la plateforme Cartrawler, en partenariat avec TapAir Portugal, en effectuant une réservation auprès de Tangerine Rent. Malheureusement, cette expérience sest révélée être une véritable escroquerie. Dès mon arrivée chez Tangerine Rent le 1er juillet 2024, jai été informé que les cartes AMEX nétaient pas acceptées, bien que cela nait jamais été précisé lors de la réservation. On ma indiqué quune carte de crédit était obligatoire pour la caution, montant jusquà 1500 , ce qui était mentionné de manière ambigüe sur la facture et le bon de location. La carte American Express (AMEX) est bien une carte de crédit et ne disposant que de celle-ci, ils mont la refusé. Ensuite, jai été contraint dacheter une assurance supplémentaire pour 241,78 , malgré le fait que javais déjà souscrit une assurance AXA via Cartrawler, qui couvrait la garantie requise. Tangerine Rent a refusé de fournir une quelconque preuve écrite du refus de lAMEX et a rejeté toute responsabilité sur le site de réservation. Pour couronner le tout, aucune option de remboursement ne ma été proposée, malgré que cette situation ait été causée par une mauvaise communication et un manque dinformation flagrants entre Cartrawler et Tangerine Rent. En conclusion, je déconseille vivement Tangerine Rent à Funchal. Ce sont des escrocs. A FUIR

TLDR: it feels premium at first, but it is the worse kind of low cost company. They try to force you a super expensive extra insurance, then if you dont pay for it they might try to charge for the smallest scratch on the car when you return it (even though they will not repair it themselves). Finally they blocked me 1500 eur for insurance excess (which feels too high and like a punishment for not paying more), and an extra 150 eur for the fuel tank, (something I have never seen any other company doing). Worse part: they still didnt refund the 150 eur after 1 week of me returning the car in mint conditions and with full tank. Full story: The shuttle service from the airport was great, the car was new and the store interior design is cozy and it feels premium. But all the rest was terrible. To start with, they pressure you to pay for the extra insurance (which costs more than the car rental itself), even though the car already has an obligatory insurance, and my credit card covers the excess amounts. They tried to discourage me using my credit card insurance saying it will probably wont cover stuff as it promisses. Finally, after I resisted their pressure they blocked 1500 eur on my credit card for insurance excess, which seems a higher than usual amount, it could definitely be lower. On the top of that they blocked an extra 150 eur on my card in case I dont return the car with the full fuel tank. The problem is: I did return the car with the tank full and they still didnt unblock the amount. I have sent an e-mail and got no answer. Then I called and the client support said it might take up to 30 days to unblock the amount, without giving any justification. I never signed for that and I would have never agreed with that. They should have unblocked the funds upon return of the car, immediately. They make your money hostage without warning about delays in advance!!! Thats unacceptable. Finally they seem to be control freaks (and potentially abusers) in terms of damages to the car. They will point out tiny scratches and other tiny marks as damages, and might eventually charge for it. I have asked if they would charge for the tiny scratches similar to the ones that the car already had, and they confirmed they would. This ultimately made me paranoid during my whole vacation. I have never seen another rental car company doing such a thing. Normally tiny scratches on cars are totally ignored and can be fixed with a very quick polish. They happen all the time on parkings and garages, and thats why no other car rental company identify it as a damage.

Très mauvaise expérience pour démarrer nos vacances a Madère. Voiture reservee sur une plateforme de comparatif. Arrivée a l aéroport, on découvre que l agence est a 10 min en navette, que nous allons devoir payer un extra car nous devons rendre la voiture en dehors des horaires d ouverture et cela ne s arrête pas la... On refuse de prendre notre carte de crédit pour le dépôt de garantie en nous prétextant que c est une carte française de débit uniquement alors que notre carte fonctionne très bien a l étranger. La solution proposée : pas de caution mais on nous augmente le prix passant a plus de 800 euros, soit le double du prix réservé. Je te recommandé pas du tout cette agence de location. Avec mon compagnon nous avons décidé de repartir a l aéroport et d annuler la réservation. Là encore on ne nous facilite pas la tâche en nous disant que nous devons nous débrouiller pour annuler en ligne. A l aéroport , une agence nous a loue une voiture sans problème avec notre carte de crédit. En conclusion, je privilégierai les agences de location connues de tous et présentes dans le hall de l aéroport.

Total rip-off. Rental done via additional service within flight booking. I have presented all the required documents, yet they did find at my DEBIT card which has worked on numerous occasions with blockage of respectable amounts within entire EU solely as it did not state CREDIT on it is not suitable for rental. I was presented with given situation: I have paid approx 250 euros for weekly car rental yet given the fact that that they couldn t block the required 1500 on my account due to the flaw system I was given ultimatum: loose my 250 euros and do not have a car or purchase insurance for 350 and the requirement of 1500 is no longer required. So totally my cheap car rental wasn t cheap afterwards. Do not recommend this unethical and loopholes-overusing agency.

They block 150 Euros as a fuel deposit. Car was returned with a full tank and without any damage. 2 months are gone now and they do not transfer the money back. After 3 calls and many mails the only argument is that the return of the money can take longer according to the bank we have.

I had a very good experience, used Drivalia which is in the same building, I guess the same company, just a different name. They collected us from the airport, and dropped us back in less than 5 minutes. Both taking the car on our first day and returning on the last day went very smoothly. Deposit was returned the same day. Very helpful staff, answered all the questions we had. I was a bit nervous, because that was my first time renting a car, but everything went well. I can honestly recommend that company.

VORSICHT! Klassische Abzocke beim Mietwagen. Als ich die Kaution mit meiner Kreditkarte bezahlen wollte, hat mein Pin (mehrfach) angeblich nicht funktioniert. Meine einzige Möglichkeit war dann ein anderer Tarif für 250 mehr, den ich mit Debitkarte bezahlen konnte. Im nächsten Supermarkt hat die Karte und der Pin aber problemlos funktioniert. Sehr unseriöses Unternehmen und unfreundliche Mitarbeiter. Nie wieder!

Unsere Erfahrung mit Tangerine Funchal war durchweg positiv. Ein Shuttle holte uns am Flughafen ab und brachte uns in die 5 Min entfernte Tangerine Autostation. Wir erhielten das gebuchte Auto, alles in einwandfreiem Zustand. Bei der Rückgabe verlief auch alles reibungslos, besonders das Personal möchte ich gerne freundlich hervorheben. Pedro war sowohl bei Abholung als auch bei Rückgabe für uns zuständig und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - inkl. Insider Tipps für unsere letzten Tage in Funchal. Unsere Erfahrung mit Tangerine war sehr positiv. Die Anmietung war einfach und transparent, sehr freundlicher Service und problemlose Rücknahme. Wir waren mit einem neuen Seat Ibiza unterwegs. Transfer zum Flughafen hat auch sehr gut geklappt.

They are scammers! In their terms no info about you need a credit card to leave the deposit, and deposit amount is very big 1900 ! Finally we rented a car in our village it was only 300 and can be paid by any card!!!!

We reserved and paid well ahead a SUV via a broker and ended up at Tangerine. Arriving there we were just given a small Sear Ibiza. I had to insist very hard and told them I am not going to accept this. They said I have to complain with the broker. Instead they told horror stories about accidents and wanted to sell me another overpriced insurance aside from the one I had already paid with the broker. I can not recommend this company.

We rented car through bookings rentalcars, but they insisted on paying additional insurance for 250 . If no than pay a deposit 1900 by CREDIT CARD, which is not indicated in the terms of rules. I loose 2 hours of my life and 120 because of inconvenience!!!

Der freundlichste Mietwagenanbieter bei dem wir jemals waren! Shuttleservice mit ein paar Minuten Fahrzeit vom Flughafen. Sehr guter Service. Schnell, einfach und unkompliziert. Hatten ein neues Auto (Opel Corsa) mit 300 km. Wir würden wieder buchen!

Das Auto hat gepasst. Als wir es zurück gegeben haben hat die Frau die es überprüft hat, Dreck als Kratzer angegeben ohne zu prüfen ob es wirklich einer ist. Wir haben dann selber Hand angelegt.. Als wir das Auto abgeholt haben haben die Mitarbeiter unangenehm geglotzt als hätten sie noch nie deutsche gesehen. Ansonsten hat alles wie geplant funktioniert.

Öffnen erst um 8:00 Uhr. Aufgrund der frühen Abreise, hätten wir das Auto um 07:30 Uhr zurückbringen müssen. Dafür wollten sie zusätzliche 55 Euro verlangen. Keinen Key Drop, daher äusserst unflexibel und nicht kundenfreundlich. Schade, da Abholung am Flughafen gut geklappt hat und die Rezeptionistin vor Ort freundlich war. Der Supervisor im Hintergrund hingegen war weder lösungs- noch kundenorientiert.

It is a few kilometers away from the airport (ca. 5km) but there is a shuttle that takes you to their offices. The car was new reliable and affordable. Overall a very good car rental service.
