SCH - Casas de Férias em São Martinho do Porto

We (4 adults) stayed at Vila Anita in Salir do Porto for 8 nights. The house is new and modernly furnished. Everything was there, especially the kitchen was perfectly equipped. The transaction with SCH was professional and uncomplicated. If we had any questions, we were immediately helped by email. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

Well equipped villa. The pool however was advertised as heated when it wasn’t. The lady who cleaned the pool on day 6 switched the heating on. Rear garden area in total shade by 13:00hrs.

I had an awesome stay! Everything was absolutely perfect! I will fully recommend these units to anyone.

My wife and I stayed at the Villa in September 2024. The process of obtaining the keys from the key safe was very easy. The first impressions of the villa were excellent very clean and looks very new build standard fixtures and fittings was excellent beds very comfortable and generally a fantastic experience. A couple of comments which you may want to take on board. 1. There was no welcome manual for the villa which would be a nice personal touch. This could include details of the Wi-Fi network and how to access it and details of how to operate the oven and hob et cetera also going to local restaurants maybe populated by guests overtime would be a nice personal touch we particularly found Nascer Do Sol to be both walkable and a fantastic experience for example. The other points I would make is that the swimming pool was very cold obviously a function of the time of year but if there was a heating option available even as an extra cost this would be potentially attractive to future guests. I did report an issue with the gates which were fouling slightly on the floor and I received an immediate response saying it would be looked at which was very impressive. Overall an excellence experience and would happily book an SCH villa in future many thanks, Nick.

The house is as advertised. However, there are some details that we think could be improved: 1 - we had problems with the cleaning, the sheets had not been changed and upon arrival we had to inform them of this situation and ask the cleaning team to come back 2 - the pool is not heated. The area around the house is very windy and the weather was unfortunately not very pleasant, which made it impossible to use the pool in that sense 3 - there are a lot of kitchen utensils missing 4 - the chairs on the island are super uncomfortable and higher than they should be for that island. We always had to use the outside table for meals because it was not comfortable to eat on the island because of the chairs 5 - lack of lighting. The rooms only have ceiling lighting, they should have some side lamps 6 - the beds are very soft 7 - also at check in I did not receive the email with the code information to get the key, which also made the initial experience a bit difficult and I was only able to get this information after a few attempts to call. I believe it was a computer error. 8 - It would also be a good idea to add a microwave, which was really needed during our stay. 9 - Lastly, the photos are misleading, as they show a grill that is not actually in the house. We brought food to grill expecting it, and when we arrived there was no grill. Overall, it was pleasant. Overall, the house itself, the design and the way it was used are really good, there are just a few small adjustments that need to be made to make our stay even better.

Excellent conditions, excellent location and excellent pool. Recommended for large or small holidays.

A fantastic Villa as described. Wonderful experience with the SCH team easy to contact and everything was completed with minimal fuss. Bedrooms were really nice and the main living space is brilliant for families to hang out. It is a quiet location and you need a car to get to the beaches. We used Uber which was very convenient & inexpensive to go to restaurants in nearby towns. Highly recommended.

Thank you we enjoyed our stay, Vila has an amazing view to the ocean, it is quite close to Nazaré town centre about 14 mins. Thank you SCH team for organisation everything were in time.
