Worst experience ever! We were looking for a couple of bikes for traveling from Setubal to Faro. In order to do it, we asked if it was possible to rent two bikes with luggage racks necessary for our journey. Before we decided to book our bikes, we call one of the responsible who guarantees us that both bikes will be perfectly equipped for our adventure. Unfortunately it wasn't true: when we arrived at the store, just one bike had the luggage rack, while the other one wasn't equipped. Despite this problem, we still started our journey. But after 30 km, one bike had a severe damage on backrear, while the other had a puncture. Without any additional inner tube given from the shop or basic tools to fix these problems, after only few hours of traveling, we had to quit our five-day bicycle trip. Even if the prices were low and the personnel has been available during our entire trip, Biknic is not equipped with decent bicycles essential for a long journey like ours. The only positive thing is that I had my refund without any issue.
We rented an electric scooter for a week and had the perfect experience. The autonomy of the scooter was no restriction in exploring the wide area of Setúbal and the silence that comes with it makes the beaches and nature even more enjoyable! The owner was very friendly, helpful and flexible; and even took the time to act as our local guide.
Incredible customer service, we didn’t have anywhere to put our bikes over night so they opened the shop for us after hours for us to return the bikes. Very helpful with routes and places to see, bikes in mint condition.
BikNic has certainly revolutionized my ideas to discover Arrábida Natural Park between Setúbal & Sesimbra in a truly ecological way. The scenic rides in open air have the right portion of challenge and comfort. We were rewarded with stunning views of green mountains and turquoise ocean. Do stop for hikes till the wild beaches, dive in the crystal clear water and taste the yummy catch of the day by the harbor… BikNic store is conveniently located in the center of Setúbal, well equipped with a variety of e-scooters and e-bikes for rent at unbeatable price. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, dedicated to make our weekend special. Totally recommend!

Best value and quality in Setubal - others twice as expensive. I booked an electronic scooter online and picked up the next morning from 930am-730pm. Took it to Sesimbra and further, Ribeiro Cavalo, Galapinhos etc. Without recharging. Was an amazing trip. Ana made the process so easy, she was incredibly chill, showed me everything I needed to know and answered all my questions like a friend, not a salesperson.

Great service offering e-bike & e-scooter rentals, perfect to discover the Setúbal and Arrabida areas. I rented the e-bike which was surprisingly powerful, sufficient to get up to the mountains of Arrabida (~400m a.s.l.), and has a range of easily >50km. Very friendly & responsive owners. If you're looking for an active adventure around Setúbal, BikNic is your place - definitely recommended!

Nous avons loué deux vélos électriques(très bons vélos). A part un léger problème sur un des 2 vélos ( Manuel a toujours répondu rapidement à mes messages) , le service était parfait et le prix très correct .Nous recommandons cet établissement.

Passeio pela Serra da Arrábida muito agradável. Bicicletas robustas com excelente autonomia. O atendimento foi impecável, incluindo explicação do modo de funcionamento da bicicleta bem como sugestões de locais a visitar. O aluguer inclui capacete e cadeados. Sem dúvida uma experiência a repetir! Aconselho!
A minha experiência de bicicleta elétrica foi incrível! As bicicletas eram fáceis de usar e proporcionaram um passeio tranquilo. O atendimento ao cliente foi um processo bom e a bateria duradoura permitiu explorar a cidade e campo sem quaisquer preocupações. Desde a simpatia com que fomos atendidos à excelente scooter elétrica que nos foi facultada, só temos coisas boas a dizer. A scooter foi a melhor opção para conhecer Porto Santo, a ilha é pequena e a expriência que é andar por lá de scooter é apenas incrivel! Pretendemos voltar e iremos certamente optar por escolher novamente a BikNic!

Originally hired a bike online for 50 euros online in the UK, upgraded in-store for a very reasonable price, changed pedals to fit my cycling shoes. Friendly service.Higjly recommend.
Je mets une étoile parce quil est impossible de mettre moins, mais en dessous de zéro serait plus proche de la réalité !! Très très mauvaise expérience !!! Nous avons réservé un scooter 3 jours avant, le jour J il nest pas dans la boutique ? Mais un scooter équivalent est prêt, mieux aux dires de la personne qui est la. Il a soi-disant 90 km dautonomie, le scooter réservé en avait 80, bien suffisant pour notre excursion à Sesimbra ( 30 km X 2 ) même avec 2 personnes. Le scooter nous a lâché 10 km avant larrivée !!! Cest inadmissible de la part du loueur qui en plus a prétendu nous avoir prévenu ???? Alors quil a fallu insister pour avoir un chargeur, bien inutile car sur la route impossible de trouver un endroit pour se raccorder au secteur ! Aucune reconnaissance de responsabilité. Aucune excuse, aucun geste commercial. A FUIR, mieux vaut jouer la sécurité et prendre un scooter thermique.

This is an excellent option if you are looking for a cheap rental with good quality equipment. The bikes are RAD power bikes which is a great brand and the scooter had a lot of battery power for our outing. Great service too!
Très mauvaise expérience pour nous avec cette agence de location. Ana, la responsable de lagence nous avait pourtant fait bonne impression lors de la prise en charge des vélos mais elle a complètement changé de visage lors de la restitution de ceux-ci. Elle nous avait dit que nous pouvions lui téléphoner en fin de journée au moment de remettre les vélos afin quelle soit présente à lagence, lorsque nous avons voulu la contacter elle nous a dit quelle nétait pas disponible. Elle nous a demandé de revenir les déposer plus tard, lorsque nous sommes revenus sur place elle nous a alors dit quelle nétait plus là puis a coupé son téléphone pour ne plus être joignable.Nous avons dû nous arranger avec la police afin de faire garder les vélos électriques en ville jusquau lendemain, cela nous a pris plusieurs heures et a complètement gâché notre dernière soirée de vacances. On ne la plus revue, son comportement était déplorable et digne dune fonctionnaire...JAMAIS nous ny retournerons !
Very used bikes in bad condition. One tire tube gave up on a normal road far away after few hours of riding. The second exploded by itself the next day. Got rudely told its my fault for pumping to a normal 5 bar and charged 20e. Go with someone else.
Peu d offre pour louer des vélos pour lier à Tróia. L accueil est sympathique mais les vélos sont vraiment de piètres qualités, les vélos électriques semblent plus qualitatifs

Friendly Bike, E-Bike and E-Scooter rental in Setubal. Good prices. The E-Bikes are a bit heavy, mainly Rad Radrhino Fatbikes. Would be great if they had some lighter E-Bike options although the ones they have served us well, even with a child seat for our 6yr old on the back. Now the only thing missing is that the Portuguese government understands that a decent infrastructure for cyclists should be normal for a modern European country. Bike lanes seem to still be an experimental idea around here.
Huur hier niet je scooter, slechte verhuurder! Wij wilden een scooter huren en hadden dit gerserveerd voor de volgende dag, toen bleek opeens de scooter er niet te zijn. Verder geen hulp aangeboden gekregen bij het zoeken naar waar we dit alsnog konden huren. Slechte service! Bad Service! Not trustworthy: we had a reservation for a scooter and they didn t keep the agreement! Don t rent your scooter here

Great service. The owner is flexible, available and super nice. The scooters are comfortable and extremely useful in this place. I think its the smartest way to move in the city and to the beaches, i would recommend.
Highly advised. Paul has an extended offer of electric bikes and scooters which will allow you to move around easily and in a sustainable way. My bike had 50km electric range and I could easily hop on to ferry to Troia and go to praia do comporta and carvalhal. Paul speaks many languages and extremely flexible with timing. Impeccable service.

Sin duda que importante es la atención atención cliente, podrías limitarte a alquilar tu producto y ya, pero cuidas el detalle, fidelizas, desde el primer momento fue muy agradable, nos ofreció la opción que más se ajustaba a nosotros ya que sólo íbamos a estar 3 horas, y nos ajustó el precio, nos quiso ayudar en todo momento mucho más allá, asesorandonos donde cenar, le hicimos caso y fue una muy buena experiencia, nos tendrás por alli cada vez que que vayamos, gracias!

Hat alles super geklappt, das normales Fahrrad sowie Ebike. Am ersten Tag hat es leider kurz nach dem Verleih angefangen zu regnen, aber Paul war super nett und hatte Verständnis. Am nächsten Tag habe ich das Ebike ausgeliehen, es hat sehr lange gehalten. Außerdem hat er mir noch viele hilfreiche Tipps für meine Weiterreise gegeben! Kann den Shop nur weiterempfehlen!!!

I had to do a very specific trip with a decently long travel distance with over 40L of luggage. I reached out to a lot of rental places, which couldnt give me specifics on luggage load or maximum distance on their bikes. When I called BikaNic, the very nice owner could awnser my questions immediately, and clearly. It litteraly was a weight off my shoulders. The bike which I rented was amazing. It was strong, and the battery lasted much longer than expected. I will definitely come back in the future!

Reservei 2 ebikes com 1 semana de antecedência para 1 dia. Cheguei por volta das 12h e para meu espanto na BikNic aguardaram a minha presença para afinar as ebikes, ou seja tive de esperar que afinassem os travões. Levei a ebike pela mão e assim que me monto, o travão de trás não funcionava. Voltei à BikNic para resolver a situação, mais espera, onde era mais importante atender o telefone do que resolver a minha situação. O travão de trás ficou muito fraquinho e no meio do percurso, fiquei sem travão traseiro comprometendo a minha segurança. Muito mau serviço ao cliente! O equipamento pode ser bom, mas sem a devida manutenção é um autêntico perigo de vida! Uma decepção!
Great e-scooters, very nice experience and fair prices. The friendly owner gave good instructions on how to get to close beaches and sightseeing trips in the surrounding area, reachable with the rented e-scooters and e-bikes. Definitely a recommendation!
Me and my Friend went to Setubal in the last week of September and decided to rent a bike to visit the region, & it was absolutely amazing. If you need a bike, do not go anywhere else, its the best place you can go. The owner of BikNic did not only show a lot of flexibility with us, he also gave us some really great advice to plan our tour on the coast and it made our day truly wonderful, unforgettable. We were very happy to end up at BikNic.
